- 3:36had so much one last time. I was like, I gotta do it
- 3:38again. And we thank you for coming back. And we had fun,
- 3:42so you know, we were already talking. We got in your hand and
- 3:47that's just I'm gonna be nice for all the new listeners. We're gonna give
- 3:53you a chance to tell them a little bit about you. Go ahead,
- 3:57okay, Hi, knew, listen, tell y'all doing. My name is
- 4:00Chanelle. I write mostly romance, Christian fiction, women's fiction. Whatever,
- 4:06John, and you want to put it in. It's always a sister in
- 4:09the book, and there's always a little bit of love, because what would
- 4:13the world be without a little bit of you know, gotta have a little
- 4:15bit of some sum in the book, right. So there Christian fiction books,
- 4:19which means basically that redemption is a big part of the story arc.
- 4:24So you're going to have someone that's gonna have some things going on in life,
- 4:28and of course you know with the redemption of Christ, they're going to
- 4:31get it all together at the end, at the very end. Then you
- 4:35go, so, I wanna you just talk about women's fiction. Yeah,
- 4:41that is a new genre that is very hot in the library. Between women's
- 4:46fiction and rom calm, they're becoming. To me this it's like when Harry
- 4:55meant Sally type books. Yes, yeah, the wrong. It's too mushy,
- 5:03mushy for me, not like some romance. But me and his dog,
- 5:09we took a screwing a stroll. So that it is always just funny.
- 5:15You mention that because it's always some type of animal. A dog or
- 5:19the cat gets sick or something and they bump into each other and now they
- 5:25have the dogs on the cover and the cats on the animal lovers, and
- 5:29I got an aunt who had almost every single animal we have ever dream of.
- 5:33But y'all be running now when y'all be putting the dog and the cat
- 5:36in the book, and the dog and the cat got a point of view
- 5:39in the book. See y'all running out, I said, So I do
- 5:43have a cat. She doesn't have a point of view though, but I
- 5:45do have a cat in real what's her name? Nalo? No? Yeah,
- 5:54when she tries to type, she gets in the ways time. I
- 5:57was just about the laptop. Yeah, knowledge try to write the books too,
- 6:01Oh okay, now giving a viewpoint in the book, No, no,
- 6:06st women's fiction, strictly women's fiction. Yeah, but when you were
- 6:11saying women's fiction is hot now right, Like yeah, So as an author,
- 6:16how do you how do you stay true to the women's fiction? I
- 6:20mean, I know the main character has to be a woman in nine times
- 6:24ten, the issue in the book is surrounded by some type of I'm gonna
- 6:29say this wrong, but I'm just gonna you just word womanly need or issue.
- 6:32So how do you stay true to that outside of being like a super
- 6:38girly girl. I mean, I'm I was the oldest of three girls,
- 6:43I did the whole sorority life. Like I'm I've embraced womanhood. I love
- 6:48womanhood. I think it's a super power itself. My shirt that's powerful.
- 6:55Shout out to Malibu Being check her out on Instagram. A right, yeah,
- 7:01So I just I embraced womanhood. I think it's a I think it's
- 7:05a gift from God to be a woman. Actually, not to go that
- 7:10whole super feminist route, because that's not the angle. It's just enjoying and
- 7:15loving and celebrating being who I was created to be as a woman. I
- 7:18think that's a powerful thing. So, and we have a lot of stories,
- 7:21a lot of untold stories, you know, a lot of times with
- 7:24a silent hero, and a lot of a lot of dramas, a lot
- 7:29of tales. So I enjoy bringing that out. I enjoy writing about us,
- 7:33and that is that's a great thing because a lot of the books that
- 7:38I see, they are about women, but these women are older of an
- 7:43age, elderly and or somehow one another. There's American, a male character
- 7:49that comes in and takes to shine from the woman. So I do like
- 7:54this new genre line. And y'ah, it is literally called woman's right,
- 8:01the women's fiction. So women's fiction Christian fiction. It's a beautiful marriage.
- 8:11I think. So you did it greatly, thank you, thank you well.
- 8:18You know were Christians fiction that's all inspired by Christ. Like you have
- 8:22to have a spiritual relationship. You have to be kind of in tune,
- 8:26or you'll either do it well enough to where it'll work but it won't be
- 8:31impactful, or you'll be super impactful without giving reverence to who why you're impactful.
- 8:41Right, So I can't sit up here and be like, oh,
- 8:43yes, I wrote. I wrote the book and it was and I was
- 8:46amazing in it. No, like, it was truly a work of Christ.
- 8:50It was a lot of laboring. It was a lot of tears shed
- 8:54in writing this last book because I had to come to terms with a lot
- 8:56of things myself, as you know, a woman, And so with the
- 9:01marriage of Christian fiction and women's fiction, it's really just allowing Christ to be
- 9:05the head and the scent of my life and then allowing what He's created me
- 9:11as a woman to shine through on the page. But this book in particular
- 9:16was there were a lot of tears. Shit, it was. It was
- 9:18a lot of crime going on, and it was that a great thing or
- 9:24it was it was It was a good thing for me because it allowed me
- 9:28to purge some emotions and some things, you know, and it made the
- 9:33story authentic. There is a quote by I was reading. I hope I
- 9:39don't misquote it. It's either Stephen King or James Scott Bell, one of
- 9:45the two. I've been reading a lot of books on writing. And he
- 9:48said, no, if there are no tears in the writer, then there
- 9:52are no tears in the reader. And that resonated was like, wow,
- 9:56okay, and this I read that before I started crying while writing with the
- 10:00book. But it's true. If I don't feel it as I'm writing it,
- 10:05then how do I expect the reader to understand the magnitude of hurt that
- 10:11Vanessa's going through what she graduates in that first chapter? That is a wow
- 10:20the Aha movie. And that's why I think I love I won't say independent,
- 10:31but I love authors that does not have that mainstream backing behind it,
- 10:37because for me, sometimes it feels like they lose exactly what you say.
- 10:43There was an author who was a mainstream author that's coming out with another book,
- 10:48and she was on this radio show here in Charlson, South Carolina,
- 10:52and she was talking about her book. Okay, there's a new book and
- 10:56this author is very very very known in urban fiction. And she said something
- 11:03and I promised myself I was never going to get another book for her.
- 11:07She said, I don't care if they don't like my book. I've already
- 11:09been paid for it. Oh wow, oh okay, cool, I've never
- 11:15read it. And then I had the book came to the library, very
- 11:20popular author, urban author. People bring that book black left to right there.
- 11:24It's like that book's bad. It's wow. Yes, And now she's
- 11:28coming out with another book and a lot of people are now like, we
- 11:33don't know about this, we don't know about this, but exactly huh,
- 11:39that's sad. It was because she had such a huge following. She had
- 11:46such an impact with her first book that it has been on best sellings.
- 11:52It is one of the African American go toss books that you oh you yeah,
- 11:58just so on the African American reading can't take this way, that's one
- 12:01of those ones that we automatic. But it was very very wow And for
- 12:09you for you to say that, it's like, I see why she on
- 12:13my like liss on your like list. I think that I'm so every author
- 12:22would love to be able to write full time and just to be able to
- 12:24do this as you know their theme, and of course that takes capital.
- 12:30But I would pray I would never get so big that I forget the reason
- 12:33why you know, and yes, it's true once and in her case,
- 12:37if she's a big mainstream author, she has been paid. So whether you
- 12:41like the book or not, she's already paid. But at the center of
- 12:45writing is I'm writing for the audience. Like I want you to read the
- 12:50book. I want you to like the book, and I want you to
- 12:52not only just leave a review, but correspond with me. Let's talk about
- 12:58the book. What did you know? If there was something you didn't like?
- 13:01Why didn't you like it? But why didn't you like that about the
- 13:03book? Let's have that conversation. You know, was it a technical issue
- 13:07or was it just a character issue? Because truth be told, there are
- 13:09several characters I've written that I didn't really like either, and if we might
- 13:13have that conversation, like I didn't like I didn't like her either. That's
- 13:16Shelby and sitting on the fence. I had a reader I didn't like Shelby
- 13:22Girl me neither. She got on my nerves the whole folk chapter she was
- 13:26in, she said, for the whole four chapter. She got on my
- 13:33nerves the whole time. So I would I would hope that I would always
- 13:37maintain a sense of just friendship with the reader, because that's what it's about.
- 13:43Like if I'm not if we're not friends, if we're not dialoguing about
- 13:48these characters. These characters have lived in my head for X amount of months
- 13:52or weeks or however long. I need some real life people to know these
- 13:56folks, right, we gonna know these folks. Because Vanessa, Oh,
- 14:03chapter one, I felt so sorry for baby girl. I just felt my
- 14:07heart went out to her to choose between I don't want to tell y'all much
- 14:15of the books, but I don't do choose between being a writer and teaching
- 14:20correct because there was somebody else that he was being a nurse. Yeah.
- 14:24Yes, I love how the way she came to the the choice, because
- 14:33she says that she so has the opportunity to do it while she becomes a
- 14:35teacher. But you can really tell that her heart wasn't writing. Yeah,
- 14:41and then to not have her mother with her for support. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:48and and dad was kind of I don't know. To me, it
- 14:52seemed like it was kind of strict, very very strict. So the beauty
- 14:56of Vanessa's story and I think one of the reasons why I cried so much,
- 15:00and I think I wrote this in the possibly in the back of the
- 15:03book or on a blog post. Vanessa's story parallels my own very closely.
- 15:13Wow. So like Vanessa, I had to make the choice my mother.
- 15:18My mother wasn't the support system in that respect. Her Her support came from
- 15:24wanting her children to have stability. So she was very much you're not gonna
- 15:28be a starving artist. You need a job. Book. Yes, I
- 15:37did quote my mom. Yeah, you're not gonna be a artist, you
- 15:41need a job, So you put these journals up and get you a degree
- 15:48in some For me, teaching was it was creative, right. I could
- 15:56be creative. I could still read books, I could talk about books,
- 16:00and I could still have a job. So I in turn finishing when I
- 16:06finished up my program, I finished up in education and talked for a while,
- 16:11so I knew, I know the longing of wanting to do a but
- 16:18needing to eat and have a roof over your head and have the stability and
- 16:22not really being in a generation where you can do both. Like this new
- 16:26generation of people we have, they they invincible. They can do everything.
- 16:32I'm generation X. You went to work for a good company and you got
- 16:37you a four and one CA and a pension if you was lucky, and
- 16:41then you died. So generation but they can do everything. I don't even
- 16:48know if they know what fool monkey is. No, and they probably don't
- 16:52care because a lot of them are. You know, they're retiring at thirty.
- 16:57I didn't fit. I didn't go back to school till I was thirty.
- 17:00They're retiring at thirty. It's like they're setting their pace. But then
- 17:07I'm looking at yeah, wore getting a good duck. I have better have
- 17:15a backup plan and so. But I admire that about them because during the
- 17:22time when I was growing up, and you know, we were growing up
- 17:25in the cultivating life, it was you go this way and this is what
- 17:29you do. Now there's a sense of you don't have to just be one
- 17:33thing, right, you can be and in the writing space, if you
- 17:37want to be a writer, you pretty much have to be more than one
- 17:41thing. In the beginning, like, if you know you're lucky enough to
- 17:44get that significant deal and you know they give you fifty thousand dollars to write
- 17:49a book, then that's a beautiful. But for the majority of us,
- 17:53you have to do two things like you're writing and you're doing another profession,
- 17:57or you're writing and you're doing another job, which is totally fine. But
- 18:03I didn't know that growing up. I, like Vanessa, was you,
- 18:07you're not gonna be a star of an artist, so go ahead and put
- 18:11them pencils up, then get you a nine to five. That was That
- 18:18was just our generation. We put our majority, I won't say, all
- 18:25put out hopes and dreams on the backburn so we can achieve that American dream
- 18:30nine hours. But the American dream. Yes, but yeah, that that's
- 18:37true. Now you know we're on jobs for like twenty thirty years. You
- 18:41know we're veterans, and now you got people in like six months, I
- 18:45don't like this job out and we'll leave, yes, and we'll not let
- 18:51the people stress them out. We sit like, look at that, well,
- 18:56not let do. I truly admire that about and I've learned that from
- 19:03my younger counterparts to there's so much life out here to live. Are you
- 19:07serious? These people are trash? Quick do something else? She said,
- 19:12trash. We can do this, we can, we can, we can
- 19:15lead. We like we can. We can find something else. We can
- 19:18be something else. And my younger counterparts so like, yeah, come on,
- 19:22let's be something else. Okay, but it works. It worked.
- 19:27So that's how I kind of weaved it into the story. It's Vanessa's understanding
- 19:32and learning that, you know, you can be more than one thing,
- 19:37and of all the things you can be, you need to be what God
- 19:41called you to be. And that is that was her struggle, because you
- 19:48can fall into the trap of you know, well I gotta go like this.
- 19:52But if you're being led to go this way, your success is going
- 19:57to be that way. You're in pact is going to be that way,
- 20:00you know. So that's the crux of the story. It's it's literally called
- 20:06standing on the enemy because it's really the enermy, It's not the outside.
- 20:12The force is really inside because as you've been reading, she's very insecure about
- 20:18stuff. Yes, the enemy is really herself. She's very she's very insecure.
- 20:22She makes decisions based on other people's views, reactions and views of Yes,
- 20:30versus what she knows to be true, what she believes in her heart
- 20:33to be true. And that's just something that I've had to overcome as a
- 20:37woman. I've talked to women that have had had to overcome that as women.
- 20:41That's just that's something in our society where a lot of times we're making
- 20:47our decisions not based on what we like, but based on the majority or
- 20:53what we feel we have to like, like what we feel we have to
- 20:56look like, how we have to sound, how we have to because the
- 21:00powers that be say this, you know, and it's endemic in our culture
- 21:07today, because you know, you gotta love this way and add this,
- 21:11you know, you have to. It's gotta be like this for it to
- 21:15be right. And if you ain't like this and you're not right, like
- 21:18no, what is your true self telling you? What is your what is
- 21:22what is your true self? What is the Holy spirit inside of you?
- 21:26Is your true self? What is that spirit telling you to do? Be
- 21:30safe? Half? See, we might have to take a break to see.
- 21:37We're gonna have to We're gonna have to come back, and we're gonna
- 21:38take a break. You guys, you know, come back, Just just
- 21:45come back. Everybody m M. Good. The book A Song for Soka,
- 21:53written by David Harris, is a powerful historical fiction centering around the life
- 21:59and character of Moses's future wife Zipporah before they met. Book author David Harris
- 22:04brings the reader into the relationship between Moses and Zappora, which was gradual and
- 22:10lush. The story unfolds beautifully when Moses finally acts Suppora to marry him.

- 22:27Yes, So I really want to talk about this relationship that Vanessa and
- 22:34her dad has. They're hurting for the same person, Yeah, doing it
- 22:41two different ways. I'm like, so, okay, so the movie and
- 22:52when she gets to this point where she they're at a battle and she's like,
- 22:57I'm not her, I'm not her. That's a very very significant part
- 23:04for me because I don't think that they both realized that they were hurting the
- 23:08same for the same person, but in two different ways. Were you wanting
- 23:14that to come through that way or I mean that seems like a big part.
- 23:21That is a big part. It's him wanting to protect her because she
- 23:26is all he has left of his wife, right, and he's seeing the
- 23:34creativity and the beauty that he fell in love when he fell in love with
- 23:37his wife. He fell in love with her creativity and her beauty and that's
- 23:42what's echoed through Vanessa. But yeah, protect that. So he doesn't want
- 23:48her because remember in the her mom died going to chase her dream so she
- 23:56he wants to protect that part of her because he's scared if she goes and
- 24:02chases those dreams, he's gonna lose her too. And that's all he has
- 24:04left of his wife. I mean, you know, he got his son,
- 24:08but come on, he says, he does everything he's supposed to do
- 24:18with he a mess. So for him, that's that her And then for
- 24:22her, she's missing the understanding and the freedom that her mom brought to her
- 24:29because her mother was the only person that really truly understood her gifting and really
- 24:36truly shined in her giftings. It's weird because her mother's name, her mother
- 24:41is named after a friend of mine who I don't care what I do on
- 24:47this earth. She's gonna support I mean, I promise you. I could
- 24:51get out here and I can write, he can ridiculary Dog fifty times on
- 24:56a book and be like, this is my new book, y'all. And
- 24:59she's going to be right there for me. She's gonna be right there for
- 25:03me. Her name is Yolanda as well. She's gonna be right there for
- 25:06me. And she's the person like all major decisions have run through her.
- 25:10Like when I went back to school, I called her. When I got
- 25:14mad, I was getting married again, I called her, Like all major
- 25:17decisions run through her. She's that support system. So I wanted to make
- 25:21sure that her mother had a significant role. That significant role that her mother
- 25:27had in her life kind of kind of shining through the pages. So that's
- 25:32where she comes from. But her Vanessa's hurting because that's that person. Prior
- 25:37to my friend, my grandmother was my person. And so when I lost
- 25:42my grandmother. I remember I was in college. I was producing a play
- 25:45that I had written, and I lost my my grandmother. Was like,
- 25:49I'm gonna get out of the hospital. I'm gonna go see Chanelle's play.
- 25:52And my grandmother passed away and I shut the whole production down. I walked
- 25:56in, I collected everybody's scripts, and I told everybody never mind, and
- 26:03thank you so much, because when you lose that person that you may not
- 26:11ever have a thousand people, a thousand true fans. You may never have,
- 26:18you know, a hundred booksell You just might fifty people might buy a
- 26:22book, and truthfully, that's more than enough. And I'm so grateful for
- 26:25everyone that has purchased the book. But it might just be fifty. And
- 26:29that's okay because God always gives you some a point of light, someone to
- 26:33say, hey, it's okay, you got this right. So when my
- 26:37grandmother passed for me, I didn't know how to go on. Like I
- 26:44just thought it was over, and I really stopped writing and hadn't written for
- 26:47quite some time after she passed. I didn't start writing again and publishing until
- 26:52I got into my thirties. She got in my I was barely in my
- 26:53twenties when she passed, so I truly understand them Grandma's yeah, So that's
- 27:02that's what that sense of loss is for Vanessa and then also for her dad.
- 27:07So they're doing emotions and like you said, for the same person,
- 27:12the same person. Yeah, hold on, I just realized something in the
- 27:18first couple of chapters, everybody kept on saying, Vanessa, you're so much
- 27:22like your mom? Yeah, no, why kid it? And she said
- 27:26a part that I think she said something along the lines up if they only
- 27:30knew something like that, like if they really knew that I am her and
- 27:34she is me. That was the fact that And now it's starting to click
- 27:38in. Yeah, wow, you did that subtle that was that was sneaky
- 27:45in there, and that was all spirit led. That wasn't I'm not that
- 27:51smart y'all you are you did that because in this book you have so many
- 27:57moments where she you see her at that crossroad. Yeah, and I'm like,
- 28:03for like, come on, come on, and you're gonna you're gonna
- 28:06get it. You're gonna get You ain't got it yet. But that's because
- 28:11that's how life is, right, Like how many times I know, I
- 28:12can't speak for anyone else on this planet, but I can speak for she
- 28:15now. And as far as you know, there's been plenty of times where
- 28:19I thought we would No, it didn't work out like that. Yeah,
- 28:25that's a learn talk about lesson learn. So you gotta tell me, and
- 28:33you said you told me earlier. Can you tell me, is it gonna
- 28:37be a part too? You? Okay? So everyone, You're not the
- 28:42first person. I've had several people ask me about it being a part two
- 28:47and I love Vanessa. Someone's was like, you should make the dad find
- 28:51love and I was like, Oh, that would be so sweet because he
- 28:55does deserve love right now that Vanessa. And then they're like, what about
- 29:00Vanessa. Haven't finished it yet, so I won't. I won't spoil the
- 29:04end. But there's a love interest for Vanessa, and they're like, oh,
- 29:08they need a story. But with every story comes conflict, and I
- 29:14just love Vanessa is at By the end of the book, She's a whole
- 29:18person. She has persevered, her dreams have come true, love has entered
- 29:22her life, and if I create another story for her, that means that
- 29:26she has to have some problems. And I really don't want to give Vanessa
- 29:32no problems. She has to have conflict. Every good story has a conflict.
- 29:36Something has to go wrong in her life. There has to be a
- 29:38conflict in her life for it to be a story. She finds love like
- 29:45she just ends, she ends in such a good place. By the end
- 29:49of the book, she has overcome she has stood on top of the enemy
- 29:56like Jeans. She ends off so well, and so whereas I love her
- 30:00character, I'm like, guys, if I write, if I write her
- 30:04another story, that means that this happily ever after that she's experienced there's gotta
- 30:10be conflict, because you have to have conflict and resolution. And I don't
- 30:14want to put no conflict in Vanessa's life. She's doing good, She's doing
- 30:19so well. I do too. Now what she might can do is come
- 30:25back as a secondary character. Well, I like, intact, I am
- 30:30trying to. I'm trying to figure out, not in the next book,
- 30:33but in Reckless Love, if we might bring her in in a secondary character
- 30:37way with her life intact, because I don't. I just I really loved
- 30:45her as a character. Guys, I really did listen Facebook girl, YouTube
- 30:51girl. Hey, y'all, I love Vanessa as a character, and I
- 30:55really don't want to mess her life up. She does this happy We just
- 31:00she deserves it. She really does. She goes, she has, she
- 31:03dealt with the loss of her mother, she deals with an overbearing father and
- 31:07having to grow up. You know, a jack in a box for a
- 31:10brother, he's a jack of box's Jago. She got a jack in the
- 31:19box brother like, she just she just she deserves the ending that she has.
- 31:26And if I give her another story, I have to mess that ending
- 31:30up, and I do not want to do that. But we may bring
- 31:32her in as a secondary character in another book. Okay, okay, because
- 31:37I really liked her, and throughout the whole book, like I said,
- 31:40I was rooting for her. I was like, okay, we then I'm
- 31:44like, oh, she don't do nothing stupid in the next couple of ks
- 31:45and then you put it down and you and you slowly like I'm slowly reading,
- 31:49like she not do something stupid us, Yes, she really did this,
- 31:56So we got a little bit more time. Mark Marcus Marcus Marcus is
- 32:06everything that every woman wants. He is powerful, He is gorgeous, He
- 32:14is supportive. He is not the one everything you want, but everything you
- 32:22don't need. Yes, ma'am, the wrap round, great package, but
- 32:30you know, good and well, once you open up that package, it's
- 32:34like the honey. But guess what, there is a bee and that you
- 32:38understand you right there? Mm hmm. You know. I'm gonna ask,
- 32:45so who would play Marcus? Who would be Marcus? Who was Marcus.
- 32:54I see Marcus as being the what's his name, the cute guy with the
- 33:00brown eyes from think like a man, oh, the light skinned one.
- 33:08Yes, yes, I see him as Marcus because he's beautiful. But you
- 33:14know, you can play the characters of a dark person. Yes, yes,
- 33:19definitely. I cannot remember his name, but that's who I see.
- 33:22But who would be your Marcus? I could see him as being Marcus.
- 33:27I could also see I have a theme for I'm gonna mess his name up
- 33:35because I can never say it right A daughters Hargess Hodges A Daughters A d
- 33:43A d. I s he's a dark skin brother. He played in Leverage.
- 33:47He also played in what else does he be? In a couple of
- 33:57other things. Oh you know, I had google who he was? Oh
- 34:02my god. But he has had some roles where he has played some dark
- 34:13characters, Like he can be charming and he can be cavalier and you know,
- 34:20tell you everything you need. But then he can flip it and be
- 34:24a darker, more serious character. And I think I get that because I
- 34:28was such a fan of Leverage, and so in Leverage he played a carn
- 34:31artist. So sometimes he would play like a good guy and sometimes he would
- 34:35play like a mean guy, or one time he was playing like a rapper.
- 34:39It was just weird. So he he would mean my he would be
- 34:45my Marcus. Okay, okay, it would be market right. So you
- 34:50know you got to tell them how they can grab your book, how they
- 34:52can follow you. You are saying you love that interaction, so let's go
- 34:57and get down. Definitely definitely Chanelle Inc. Dot com s H E N

- 37:35diamond. Hello, Simon, Sure she is beautiful. Anytime my hair turn
- 37:45off, that's her. Yes, we got I have some uh. I
- 37:52mean it's Christian fiction, so it ain't steamy steamy, but it is steamy
- 37:55for Christian fiction, some after dark content, you know. Ran Yeah,
- 38:05but you know what that is starting to become. One thing I'm starting to
- 38:07see in the library that I have this generation of middle age and I call
- 38:15them middle age because now I'm forty for you guys, but we have this
- 38:21fifty sixties older ladies that are getting informing book clubs. They don't want the
- 38:29i'm gonna say the launchiness of the fiction, but they want Christian fiction with
- 38:35a little bit of on the side of it, you know, just to
- 38:38say okay, yes we're still human. Yeah, definitely like that. And
- 38:45it's coming off the choir director in the Blackhampton series, whereas their characters are
- 38:52strong characters and they do have sexual lives. Yeah, they's just showcase of
- 38:55the way. So yeah, that is becoming. It's called they have a
- 39:05name for it. It's Christian. I cannot remember, but it's another word
- 39:12right after Christian. That's like, oh, okay, now I understand it
- 39:15makes sense and it's very very I cannot remember what it is, but yes,
- 39:22that is now becoming a new thing a lot of the child. Yeah,
- 39:27because I have to be do You have to be authentic to what's going
- 39:30on, and like for me, I can't speak for everybody, but for
- 39:32me, I have to be authentic of what's going on in the story.
- 39:36Like I cannot write a story about someone who is For an example, in
- 39:42resting on the word, Jade and her husband Devin, they're trying to have
- 39:45a child. When you try to have a child, you tell it one
- 39:52way to make a baby. So there's gonna be something, you know what
- 39:58I'm saying, Like, and they're married, there is this a Christian marriage.
- 40:04They're married, but so there there is no where, there is no
- 40:07avert sexually explicit content in there. You are well aware that he enjoys his
- 40:15wife because that's his wife. And that's how life in love is you.
- 40:23I mean, how we gonna make a baby? Are you making a baby?
- 40:25You know what I'm saying? So respectful. Yes, it's very respectful.
- 40:30It's very respectful. But it's very true to the lifestyle that we live
- 40:36as humans on the earth. Right See, that's why you my lifeless.
