- 7:02[SPEAKER_25]: I hate to sound like I'm in TV or something, but the weather is in the news.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_25]: It continues to be bone-chilling cold.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_25]: It's warming up now a little bit into the 20s, but we can expect a little of, can we call the white stuff tonight, and we aren't even to winter yet.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_25]: It is still fall.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_25]: Be careful out there.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_25]: There's a lot of frees thought on pavement and black top and all of that and it could be very treacherous.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_25]: So I don't take any chances.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_25]: Salt it down and be careful and you know I don't don't point falling down breaking a hip.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_25]: It's just now worth it.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_25]: Now let's see decisions coming up.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_25]: Of course we got the holidays.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_25]: Obviously we're not out on Christmas Day or New Year's Day because it's
- 7:51[SPEAKER_25]: There are holidays of obligation, shall we say, and we'll be here on the 24th, of course.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_25]: The 26th is boxing day, the company's generously is giving us that off.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_25]: I think I am going to take that off, but also I have the option of not doing a show January second.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_25]: That's a Friday.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know about that when I don't, that's not really even linked to the holidays.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_25]: I think I may have to go.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_25]: I'll wait for some input from the hotline cognizante out there because you people know what you want.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_25]: A new year coming up.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_25]: We got to start our year in review and year ahead stuff.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_25]: There's a lot to talk about, a lot to talk about.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_25]: One follow up on a story that a good friend Lexi burning did on Channel 7 some time ago.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_25]: when it was passed by the legislature, but Governor Hockel has signed the so-called retail to retail bill, which allows for limited sale of alcohol, like, you know, alcohol to bars and restaurants from liquor stores.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_25]: Now, say, well, that goes on.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_25]: It does, but now you haven't got to worry about some of these.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_25]: That legal, I'm going to snitch in all of that stuff, because even though it's limited and quantity,
- 9:06[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_25]: And it doesn't really matter.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, these liquor companies saw their in an empire.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_25]: They're still selling it anyway to the liquor store.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_25]: What do they care?
- 9:15[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_25]: Much more problematic is if people get into buying from either out of state or, you know, classics stores are all of that to get cheaper prices because, you know, there's an affordability problem in every industry.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_25]: There's no doubt about that.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_25]: Let's see, what else is going on?
- 9:38[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, for you political files in this story, probably won't show up in the North country for some time next week, but as you know, Congresswoman, at least Definek, is running for governor.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_25]: Everybody assumes he had the Republican nomination locked up, but now a well positioned, I guess, I don't think he'll beat her in a primary, but Nassau County, that's on Long Island, that's hamster that area.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_25]: Nassau County executive Bruce Blakeman announced this morning on Fox and Friends.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_25]: He is seeking the Republican nomination.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_25]: Now, I did a little reporting, I hate to say that I really shouldn't.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_25]: I'm not a licensed journalist, but I call Don Cooen,
- 10:20[SPEAKER_25]: this morning and talk to chairman koon haven't talked to him in a while as well as can parts of the conservative party neither one of them thinks there's any traction from his to Blakeman up here however chairman koon said it is possible Blakeman could get on the ballot at a convention if he can get twenty five percent of the weighted vote and if he can carry with him suffocating that's all county and parts of the city and so any property could get that
- 10:49[SPEAKER_25]: So there might be or you could go to the petition room, but he may be a primary.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_25]: Is that good or bad?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_25]: Does it hurt?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_25]: At least the phonics chances.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_25]: It hurts it if it's rancorous.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_25]: And it ends up offending people on Long Island.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_25]: Because if she's the nominee, statewide, she's, you know, she's got to do well in NASA on Suffolk.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_25]: and parts of the Bronx and Queens, um, as well as Staten Island and areas upstate, you know, the mostly non-voting areas like Jefferson County, they aren't going to carry a statewide race.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_25]: So anyway, um, and as far as the New York 21 race, Chairman Coon told me, it looks to be Anthony
- 11:40[SPEAKER_25]: The Koonakrasi would be supporting Mr. Smallon, but he said others could get in, and it's not a done deal quite yet.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_25]: He says it's early.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_25]: I'm not sure it's early, Mr. Chairman, but there could be other candidates getting in that.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_25]: So that was the reason, as far as the conservatives,
- 12:09[SPEAKER_25]: It subs to the winner of the primary on to their line after the primary if they wanted.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_25]: They would not want to have a primary themselves because you're then it's out of control, but they could, you know.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_25]: So we'll see what happens, but Bruce Blakeman running against the least of Fonic and over on the Democratic side, Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado has said he is going to run a primary against Governor Hockel.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_25]: Now the local people were out today calling a Blakeman the bootlicker Blakeman saying he's a shill for Trump and he's going to turn the governor's mansion into Mara Lago North there's something like just the usual stupid stuff
- 12:51[SPEAKER_25]: And, you know, these campaign operatives, they come out with their dumb statements and just say nothing.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_25]: If I were advising stuff on it, I wouldn't say anything right now, just let it go.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_25]: Good afternoon.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_25]: After you're on the air.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_22]: Good afternoon.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_22]: Good afternoon.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_22]: Good afternoon.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_22]: Question for you.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_22]: Maybe someone's got the answer out there now.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_22]: Do you think they're cold and forcer?
- 13:19[SPEAKER_22]: goals and check out these sidewalks or the business office and wait for you to call them and get them a couple of days.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_25]: I suspect the latter, but it is tough to keep the sidewalks clear.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_25]: I know even the cities a little behind on it because the corner lot next to me hasn't been done yet, but most people try to do the best they can.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_25]: It's not easy.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_25]: We're going to get more snow, but
- 13:48[SPEAKER_22]: I don't want to point this out, okay?
- 13:50[SPEAKER_22]: Here you have kids walking to school at the high school, right?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_28]: Mm-hmm.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_22]: And, of course, I'm blind.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_22]: I take the box up to, uh, and get up at Kenny's vlogs, going and get my prescription comb back.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_22]: I've got to walk.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_22]: Uh, I want you to stay to make it back home, okay?
- 14:11[SPEAKER_22]: Mm-hmm.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_22]: You know where the, uh, pool places?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_25]: Yes.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_22]: really?
- 14:19[SPEAKER_22]: I'm searching for the sidewalk.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_22]: Finally I end up in the road.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_22]: Some guys jump to other car, hey you're in the road.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_22]: I can't find the freaking sidewalk.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_22]: Where's the sidewalk?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_25]: Hmm, nobody helped you?
- 14:34[SPEAKER_22]: Oh yeah, so yeah, driver help me because there's no sidewalk there's all
- 14:47[SPEAKER_22]: The sidewalks would be at least, you know, shovels to be from snow on it.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_22]: I'm not talking about bare, but enough to be able to make it through where you don't have to go out the road.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_22]: You said you got to go out the road for a boat of 50 feet to get another side because nothing's there as shovels.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_22]: So what is that place?
- 15:05[SPEAKER_22]: You said the hearts and homes there, it has not been.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_25]: Well, I'm
- 15:11[SPEAKER_25]: You know, certainly we would encourage everybody to shovel, you know, not always easy, though, and I'm not here to make excuses, but I am here to say, just like it would be tough for you or I to get out in the shovel, it's tough for property owners.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_25]: There are no 16 year olds with a shovel over their shoulder anymore, looking for work.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_25]: So unless you can hire a landscaping firm to clean it for you and maybe they should,
- 15:46[SPEAKER_25]: Now I had a yesterday I saw a guy in a shopping cart.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_25]: He was yelling at everybody walking up Pearl Street out in the road with his cart.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_25]: Our sidewalk was plowed, but he couldn't get up to the corners or he ended up turning around.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, there's a lot of people that are, you know, it's difficult.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_25]: Now I do have to say I've got neighbors who are so conscientious about plowing and blowing and everything.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_25]: They should get a reward.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_25]: But as far as the city doing anything about it,
- 16:15[SPEAKER_25]: not sure they can do much i mean you could go out try to do up uh... public relations campaign to you know appeal to people but they don't do that either it's kind of like the overnight parking ban in winter nobody or we have a sign at the city limits one by two foot sign you're supposed to read it on your way into town no that's not prior notice i mean the whole thing is screwy but uh... a lot of people are confused by this trash thing and uh... you know i try to explain
- 16:45[SPEAKER_22]: forward towards this least check the main drag to make sure that they're clear especially for the kids walking up Washington Street.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_22]: You know, there's a lot of kids so walk to school.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, and maybe it would be great to have a, have a Bobcat with a blower on it and just go out and clear these areas and send the folks a bill.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_25]: You know, if you've got to go through due process and everything, it makes it difficult because you need to
- 17:14[SPEAKER_22]: Well, or publish about shaming public shaming just published lists of people who don't Yeah, well, I mean the word about the word about a foot and half two foot grass But you're not worried about two and a half three and a half foot snow bakes Mm-hmm.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_22]: I mean don't you think it'd be a lot worse for a snow banks and this works frickin doing a half foot grass and so much property Oh, is that the butterfly garden they call them or whatever it is.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah
- 17:44[SPEAKER_22]: I'm just saying they're more worried about the graph being too high than the R for snow being too high.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_22]: You need to be the opposite way around.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_22]: Please take a walk on the sidewalk with some of his graphs just three, but I... Yeah.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_25]: Well yesterday we had three police officers tied up for a couple hours just in case Cliff only went nuts at City Hall and he didn't.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_22]: Yeah.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_22]: Well, maybe they had the code of force they're seeing them by also apparently I don't know.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_22]: I just wanted to make a note of that.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_22]: I mean, some of you walk on the road and get head up there because somebody can't figure out how to get the sidewalk shovel.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_22]: I don't know.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_22]: Hey, back in the day, here's what I did one time.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_22]: Do you know the old Pickle's restaurant?
- 18:31[SPEAKER_26]: Oh yeah.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_26]: Yep.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_22]: I went, once made a deal with them, I shoveled a sidewalk all winter.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_22]: And every time I shoveled that, they would give me a free meal, right?
- 18:42[SPEAKER_22]: And so I saved them because my wife was pregnant.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_22]: I shoveled all winter and she had the baby in May, but when she, when I went, all she had to do was just go in there and so many times I shovel, they give her a free meal, but she had to do no cooking or anything for month to the hair.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_25]: That's a great, that is a great system and that's the way America used to be.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_25]: Unfortunately, that America is gone.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_25]: Alright, thank you so much.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_25]: Thank you so much.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, isn't there Christmas tree lighting?
- 19:16[SPEAKER_25]: Can I say Christmas tree?
- 19:18[SPEAKER_25]: Lighting is what Friday the 12th is at the 12th.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_25]: I believe it is.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_25]: What's today?
- 19:24[SPEAKER_25]: Tuesday the 9th 10.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, it's Friday day.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_25]: And actually, but you know how important in Oregon they won't, they won't say Christmas tree when they're advertising.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_25]: It's just called the tree.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_25]: And they have a bunch of people around it when they light it yelling free Palestine and stuff like that.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_25]: thank god we don't live in a community like that but what's happening to this country when you see that stuff going on i know portland's liberal and all of that side it's just it's just a shame isn't it just a shame well what is that a court rule that they can release the grand jury records on is just laying back well max well the uh... abstine girlfriend
- 20:06[SPEAKER_25]: You know, whatever happened to that.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, these Epstein files, they, are they out yet?
- 20:11[SPEAKER_25]: Well, what's in them?
- 20:13[SPEAKER_25]: And my name is narrow.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_25]: Who's name?
- 20:16[SPEAKER_25]: I know Glenn and I have been waiting to see if our names are in there.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_25]: We had blackout periods in our life, and we don't know what we did.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_25]: Okay, good afternoon around the air.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_06]: So I have to know, and I just wanted to wish you and the staff and the all-out line list.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_06]: uh... Mary christmas happy holidays and you know all the thing they black me from saying that i hope that's still out on the year and i'm in a smithier for just a minute you ever remember bakers on uh... uh... state street no that it was a little place we could go and it was it was uh... drugstore but it was also a place we could go and have a sit down soda what about the one that they had up by the park read the park and remember that one
- 21:03[SPEAKER_25]: No, I remember that one.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_25]: Yep.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_25]: Well, those were the good old days.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_25]: I can remember soda fountains.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_25]: Thanks for reminiscing with me.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_25]: Thank you so much.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_25]: Thank you.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_25]: All righty.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_25]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_25]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the hotline, the show of shows.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_25]: And uh, you know, I think people have lost total interest in that whole ethics thing.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_25]: because it was yesterday afternoon at three and I tuned into the news at five and again at six and there was nothing on it so I figured well if they didn't think it was worth reporting on is it really I don't know but you know even remember we told you they hired the city hired a new attorney this lady out of Syracuse Whitney uh who more role or something who more role if I'm mispronouncing and I apologize she's with the handcock and asked to
- 21:58[SPEAKER_25]: She wasn't there, didn't partake part and I mean, I don't know how serious that hearing was.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_25]: The no-transcription, no records of it, no nothing, what do they do?
- 22:06[SPEAKER_25]: I don't, I just don't get the whole purpose of it.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_25]: I understand the criticisms of the two.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_25]: They were defeated for reelection.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_25]: I understand a lot of people think what they did was dead wrong, criminally wrong.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_25]: In some cases, some people think.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_25]: But that hasn't been determined.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_25]: And I'm not sure what this Board of Ethics is going to do.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_25]: But you know what, Mr. Janning said.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_25]: He said, trust the process.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_25]: Stay tuned.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_25]: Wow, once that means.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_25]: what does that mean state to and you know i like to be respectful of authority and all of that stuff but sometimes you're in situations where you look at it and this isn't right what's going on we'll get to more of that later but you know it's just uh... yeah i don't know i don't know if there is any uh...
- 23:02[SPEAKER_25]: just because somebody is because the board of ethics comes up with a fine finding a problem because doesn't mean squat but that doesn't mean it can't be troublesome or certainly embarrassing to the people that's found out about I don't know maybe they are a bad people but even though it was chopped around town about bags of money and all that I never saw any evidence of it maybe there is
- 23:31[SPEAKER_25]: Incidentally, so we'll call it not the tree this Friday night, the Christmas tree, all right?

- 26:50[SPEAKER_04]: The news and talk authority, W-E-T-A-M-1240.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_25]: It's all you need to know.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_25]: All you need to know?
- 27:05[SPEAKER_25]: It's talking to Sandy at the front desk.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_25]: He handed me this card from company kind of new to water.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_25]: SRT restaurant solutions are over in the Plaza by Eastern Boulevard and state scrutiny call it.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_25]: That's C-way or Northland.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_25]: Northland, whatever it is.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_25]: Which is that Plaza and SRT restaurant.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_25]: And I guess they've got all the restaurant supplies, paper products, take out containers, all that stuff.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_25]: So check them out.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_25]: Like to mention new business, you know, that whole area of endeavor, kind of fell into this repair from a retail standpoint because you'll remember water town restaurant supply and C.way sales and black river paper and all these places used to go to remember the Charles chip man that would go around or the guy from Romans who had all the slim gems and the package nuts and all that's gone now, that kind of retailing.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_25]: Remember when beer and liquor salesman came in and, you know, all that
- 28:00[SPEAKER_25]: You never see that many more, God.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_25]: Um, so it's different, but it's good to see somebody opening something locally, where you can go in and get stuff if you need it, because you know, it's very easy to transition.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_25]: And I know this running a business over to the internet and companies like Gamma's on and you line and all that.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_25]: And you really long for the days, I always tried, for instance, always buy from Black River paper and the Perkins family, but that kind of fizzled away over there.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_25]: But it was nice, you know, and good line of merchandise, nice people, and Homer in there back in the day, and all those things.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_25]: Um, what else is going on?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_25]: Jasmine Crocket did announce their candidacy for United States Senate from the Great State of Texas, the low and star state.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_25]: Can she win?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_25]: Well, I guess anybody can win, but it's not going to be easy, but you know that.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_25]: senator what's his name there and then you've got the attorney general for the state it's with the funny eye i don't know i mean i think crack at could be competitive but she needs to you know i hate to say this because somebody's going to start in on the race thing is you're always do but she came from money and she went to good schools and she's capable of speaking
- 29:22[SPEAKER_25]: pretty normally now she speaks a sort of urban talk and so on and wise cracking in order to get attention but i think she's got to come across as you know responsible and a player and all of that not just a you know running again that's all i wanted to run against trump orange manpan orange manpan taco taco that's all they say well there's gotta be more to it than that and he won't be there after a couple more years so i don't know about jasmine crack it but we'll see
- 29:54[SPEAKER_25]: You know, we've got our own AOC in this state.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_25]: So, and even AOC is trying to distance herself from some of the nuts who wants to be associated with Yuhan Omar or the one from the Detroit area.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_25]: And all of that.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_25]: Isn't that a, what is it?
- 30:15[SPEAKER_25]: They've turned Dearborn Michigan into a caliphate.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_25]: Is that what they call it now?
- 30:20[SPEAKER_25]: It's no longer the city limits.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_25]: It's the caliphate limit.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_25]: already 755-1240 is the phone number if you'd like to be on the air to talk about whatever you want within the bounds of good taste because we like to do that and you know somebody was telling me this morning boy I have a field day on that ethics saying I said no people are interested in that anymore they've tuned out on it largely I mean
- 30:55[SPEAKER_25]: Apparently even at attorney the city hired two down on it because she didn't show with the hearing history.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_25]: So I don't know.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_25]: But Chairman Jennings says, trust in the process.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_25]: Hmm.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_25]: Okay.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_25]: Okay.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_25]: Let's see, more Ukrainian peace talks.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_25]: What's this thing about the state police and a writer cup thing?
- 31:26[SPEAKER_25]: a third-high-ranking member of the police leaving the agency abruptly amidst an expanding probe into the misuse of PGA credentials by members of an agency who attended the writer come.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_25]: And if you can get good seats at a football game, I flashed a badge, what's wrong with that?
- 31:45[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, it's no different than that stick around your windshield that gets you out of a ticket.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_25]: Panzo's out.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_25]: But what's wrong with that either?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_25]: I don't.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_25]: see why there's all this fuss about it but who knows even the guy that was running the water town sub station I guess he got caught up in it and all of that I don't even know the man but you know whatever here's a story the penny is dead could the paper check be next could very well be how many most of many of you don't use checks many of you have never written a check if you're younger um i don't know those companies that print them
- 32:27[SPEAKER_25]: Um, remember the old days when you get the tracks back from the bank and they put, put them in a filing cabinet and they'll be boxes of them up in the attic or something like that in the back when we were kids in the 60s and 70s.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_25]: That's all over.
- 32:42[SPEAKER_25]: I mean, with some businesses, I'm not against paying online, but with some businesses, you can't, you know, local, a couple local vendors beer vendors, you can't pay online.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_25]: You got to pay with a track.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_25]: so i'm not sure they're gone into and i still use checks for some things i know that's so so yesterday of me so yesterday well let's see what else we're going on anything else you want to talk about snow on christmas i think that's a foregone conclusion if you listen to me into death and all of that you know
- 33:25[SPEAKER_25]: uh... show hailtonis the apis male athlete of the year for a fourth time really out of eye a pick such a thing but you know there's an accident on middle street uh... selling a grinch meal over at McDonald's and with that right cool and reported in the have rabies and sent orange county
- 33:55[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_25]: I just don't know.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_25]: Well, we gave you a couple things that our news, the Blakeman candidacy, that wouldn't really be news where the up here except he's running against the local, one of the two local Congress members.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_25]: That's what makes it news where the up here.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_25]: And signing that retail bill, I got to go and you should go over to, liquor store for us in a high school, interview Pam or something about it.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_25]: See what she has to say.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_25]: She's camera ready, so, uh, head on over there, but all these people, I don't want to talk.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_25]: I don't want, why don't, why don't you want to talk, let people know about your business.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, man, you know, people don't trust the news media, but it depends on the reporter.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_25]: If it's John Moore, I would trust them.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_25]: I trust, uh, I trust, um,
- 34:49[SPEAKER_25]: uh... let's see who a channel seven i would trust you know lexie is a good honest you know i really have to apologize for something i did to channel seven a while it's couple three years ago and i shouldn't have done it i shouldn't have done it but the young lady who moved back to Texas was covering the Italian american festival in day and uh...
- 35:13[SPEAKER_25]: There's a kid there from Carthage, he had a long stringy hair and round glasses, the Howard Stern look for those of you who know old enough to know who Howard Stern is.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_25]: Well, as a young reporter was doing an interview with him just as a participant in the event.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_25]: And apparently he said his name was Howard Stern, well, I never thought anybody would believe that, but there I saw it on the Cairo, on the news that night across as Howard Stern, we kind of made fun of it here.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_25]: And I really shouldn't have, I should have looked back and said, why would this young lady
- 35:42[SPEAKER_25]: know who Howard Stern is anyway.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_25]: And it just goes to show.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_25]: Now, whatever.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_25]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon, Mayor.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_07]: How are you today?
- 36:00[SPEAKER_25]: Pretty good.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_25]: What's up?
- 36:02[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you were wondering whether reporting a rat cone had rabies or not was news.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_07]: and it's news to the person that got bitten by the raccoon because it was recently in the news I can't remember what county it was from, but this man went out to help an injured raccoon and got bitten and then he had to go through the rabies routine of getting shots.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_07]: It's a reminder for the public to stay away from sick animal.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_25]: Well, yeah, there's no doubt about it.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_25]: No doubt about it.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_07]: So I think it's, I think it's newsworthy.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_25]: Okay.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_25]: No, I agree it is.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_25]: It's just that some things become news that you wonder why they're news and other things.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_25]: All right.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_07]: You were absolutely correct there.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_25]: So I don't know.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_25]: Well, we'll see.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_25]: We'll see.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_25]: But I agree.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_25]: Stay away from.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_25]: Did you see the story about the drunk raccoon?
- 37:10[SPEAKER_07]: No, I didn't, Mayor, no, that one's interesting.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, he got into a liquor store, knocked over some bottles, they broke, and consumed some of the alcohol, and they found him passed out on the restroom floor at the liquor store.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_25]: They had to sober up through the raccoon.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_25]: Now, no.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_25]: That's that to me is news.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_25]: There was another thing.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_25]: I you know, I look at things that I see that we talk about like I saw There was a video of a bear They got into the Christmas parade in Tennessee or something like that.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_25]: It was walking right down the street and oh Nobody seemed to care Yeah, I'd be running for the hills.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, isn't a bear dangerous Bear is very dangerous.
- 37:59[UNKNOWN]: We hear everybody so off the

- 42:39[SPEAKER_25]: Well, as apparently, apparently there's a global color authority called Pantone, P-A-N-T-O-N-E.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know what it is.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_25]: But they've chosen a color of a year for 2026.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_25]: It's called Cloud Dancer.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_25]: And it's a lofty white neutral whose aerated presence acts
- 43:03[SPEAKER_25]: It's white, it's like winter white, or milky white, or whatever you want to call it, it's not bright white, it's You know, more like winter white, what we call winter white, but now the liberal syrup set about it Yeah, because it's white They don't want that Now black cannot be a color of the or because it's the absence of colors and I'm not sure white is really a color either I'm black and white, they're not colors
- 43:33[SPEAKER_25]: But this group called Pantone or whatever it is, maybe somebody knows what it is or subscribes to it or whatever, but there's a whole bunch of publications touting at here.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know what it is.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_25]: And here's a nice story from over in Iran.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_25]: You know those people are nice.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_25]: It's too bad we bomb them in and they're great people.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_25]: The child bride is executed in Iran after killing her much older husband following years of domestic violence.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, this poor girl was forced to become a child bride, she grew up and now they killed her, the government killed her at 24, because she had killed her creepy old husband.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_25]: Now I think it's all right to be creepy at all, but she don't impose herself on other people.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_25]: She was forced into marriage at 16 to a much older man.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_25]: She endured years of domestic violence abuse and coercion.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_25]: So she killed the guy, nothing wrong with that.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_25]: But they killed her now in a ran.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_25]: You'd say, do that.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_25]: It's your Sharia law.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_25]: That's what they want to start out in like Minneapolis and Dearborn in Portland.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_25]: They want Sharia law out there.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_25]: 755, 1240 or phone number.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_25]: If you'd like to give us a call, the DEC is urging New Yorkers to use Rocksault sparingly this winter.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_25]: Well, let me tell you something.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_25]: DEC, I'll use it as I need it for safety.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_25]: I'm not going to skimp on it.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, I know it can be rough on things.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_25]: Watch out for the dog paws, all that stuff, but, you know, safety first, that's the way I look at it.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_25]: That's right.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_25]: All right, we got a call coming in, I guess we do.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_25]: Go ahead, you're on the air.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_25]: I'm here.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_25]: I'm here.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_25]: All right, what's up?
- 45:26[SPEAKER_25]: the whole thing that we got along with leasing clip only do we have any a narrative decision on that or what what what if we found out what if we don't well we haven't done anything I leave Jennings says trust the process and stay tuned he said I don't know there's no they held a meeting there's no record of the meeting there was no attorney project president i mean it was nothing i mean it was it's just five well of course uh... regiro had a attorney but
- 45:55[SPEAKER_25]: Clif didn't, so in all these cases it was just five people and Mr. Only.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_25]: What, what kind of, I don't know if we want to call it a council or a membership or a tribunal?
- 46:09[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know what they are.
- 46:11[UNKNOWN]: What, what can they do?
- 46:14[SPEAKER_25]: Nothing, I don't think.
- 46:18[UNKNOWN]: The can, uh, the can't do a thing.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_25]: I don't think they have any statutory authority to do anything they could recommend other people do things but what are you going to do to the regiro and only it's now December 9th and uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh
- 46:45[SPEAKER_25]: That's my opinion, but there are great minds.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_25]: Look at we had three police officers.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_25]: It's cool in their heels up at City Hall.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_25]: Not them.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_25]: Sure.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_25]: It's nice and they're all out.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_25]: I'm sure they liked it.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_25]: But, and they were very polite and everything from what I hear.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_25]: But, what do they do in there for just a meeting?
- 47:02[SPEAKER_25]: Because somebody at City Hall thought Cliff was going to go off the deep end?
- 47:06[SPEAKER_25]: That's what he has in the past.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_25]: So I would say it work.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_25]: I got the man just turned 70.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_25]: He's not going to hurt anybody.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I don't know.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just, uh, one of these people that pay some taxes and water talent and hate to see the money spot like that, but... Well, I don't know.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_26]: I don't know how much we spend on...
- 47:26[SPEAKER_08]: I really... That being said, I also really hate to see any disruptive people, and this city council has been disrupted continually by Mr. Olmley.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_08]: I haven't seen Lisa really doing a disrupting, but maybe that's a separate manner from, uh,
- 47:46[SPEAKER_08]: You know, the whole, at six bars, there is disruption part of the ethics, too.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, I just don't know.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_25]: I think they're being coy and they're playing a game.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_25]: Now, maybe this is serious and everybody says, well, you're just defending.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_25]: I'm not defending anything.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_25]: I've been consistent critics of their votes on these matters and how it came out.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_25]: But, you know, this idea that just trusts the process, I don't trust the process.
- 48:11[SPEAKER_25]: I don't trust it one eye order.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_25]: And, you know, that's just everybody's all well with the reason that any of this was done behind closed doors.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_25]: Well, that's the other thing.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_25]: You tell me, everybody at the end of the so-called the respondents or defendants or whatever you want to call them.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_25]: The guilty parties.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_25]: They wanted it out in the open.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_25]: So I don't.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know what to do.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_08]: I ask you a question.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_08]: I'm kind of just asking it in the air, but the same time.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_08]: You're a bit of a political expert, so I am, you're not as a mayor or a talk show host, but a person has a lot of experience at it.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_08]: And the only answer I seem to get from anyone including you is that I don't know.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_08]: Nobody knows.
- 48:56[UNKNOWN]: I can't figure this out.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_25]: Trust the process, Mr. Jennings says.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_08]: Well, we tried to trust the process with COVID and work out for him.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_08]: Didn't work out for the Board of Health.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_08]: Didn't work out for Fossi.
- 49:10[SPEAKER_08]: Didn't work out for the United States.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_08]: It didn't work out for anyone in the world.
- 49:13[UNKNOWN]: So I don't know if trust the process is something that anyone should be really blinded up anymore.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_08]: Well, hey, I'm going to let you go and make some smarter call out there.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_25]: Well, we hope there's somebody smarter than us.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_25]: Okay, thank you.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_25]: Bye now.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_25]: Good afternoon, Ryan.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_09]: How you doing?
- 49:28[SPEAKER_25]: Good.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_25]: What's up?
- 49:30[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_09]: I just want to kind of add on a little bit to because I have maintain attention now.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_09]: We're usually from the beginning of this whole debacle.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_09]: they went into accepted his session immediately, you know, like, I'm strolling, I'm getting ready to find out what the deal is, what's going on so I can hear, you know, a little bit of what's going on, and it's not, at this point, and even before at this point, actually, I mean, my personal beliefs should, I believe, say a couple of years should resign.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_26]: Who is?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_09]: The mayor, Steve Jennings, Jeff Smith, because this is not, you know, and I mean I have been paying attention, and this is, there's so much going on behind the scenes that we don't know about, and whose responsibility is that, the mayor that ran for a campaign when he ran for mayor on transparency, and this whole office complaint is about people supposedly
- 50:38[SPEAKER_09]: Highing emails and being, you know, possibly whatever you want to call it.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_09]: But this is going, the thing is, is like, I've researched it.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_09]: Before email and before all that, you know, you had Stop spending on your show.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_09]: You said if you don't want people to find out things, this was him.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_09]: This was what he said on your show.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_09]: That you just pick up a phone and call somebody.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_25]: All right, great.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_25]: I agree.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_09]: And when he does, but Sarah, when he doesn't want anybody to find out about what they're talking about, because that's not transparency either.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_27]: Yeah.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_09]: You know, I just, that's this whole thing.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_09]: And that's one thing that I do want to add on, and it's like, I would nundar off me, Lisa, or Jerry, no.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_27]: Hmm.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_27]: Okay, well.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_09]: Now, nundar off me, that woman, after what they've put her through, if that was me, and they put me through something like, because if you think about it, and there's not a thing, and in a recent night, I don't think you really nailed him on that, and here's you.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_09]: There was some slander and stuff coming out of his mouth.
- 51:40[UNKNOWN]: Hmm.
- 51:40[UNKNOWN]: That's slander.
- 51:44[UNKNOWN]: And she's a man, she's a man.
- 51:46[UNKNOWN]: What is he?
- 51:47[SPEAKER_09]: Let's just admit, could it do not?
- 51:49[UNKNOWN]: Is he going to come after Lisa's positions on the other boards?
- 51:52[UNKNOWN]: Is that he got?
- 51:53[SPEAKER_27]: All right.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I'm saying, Mickey, who is he, like, some sort?
- 52:00[SPEAKER_09]: Is he, like, putting a water down?
- 52:02[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know about that.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I mean, just think about it, though, Johnny, this is true.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_09]: This is gone.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_09]: Please.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_25]: I don't know.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_09]: You know, and just not, and what they're doing, let they're doing the Lisa, like I dream of drop-y, as far as your class coming on the scene, he admits that he admits he came on the scene to pick a fight.
- 52:29[UNKNOWN]: He'll say that to you.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_27]: He didn't like the status quo that was going on.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_27]: Right, right.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_09]: I came on the councilful, that's why he came on the council, was to get things moving.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_09]: And he definitely did that.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_25]: I was out about it.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_25]: Okay, well, listen, I know you're upset.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_25]: I think you're ready some interesting points, but I got a run, okay?
- 52:47[SPEAKER_09]: I am upset because I'm sorry.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_09]: It's wrong for the way they're treating people.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_09]: It's just not okay.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_09]: Keep your society.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_09]: That would be good.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_25]: Thank you, Rhino.

- 56:42[SPEAKER_25]: That's so yesterday.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_25]: Yeah, so yesterday.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, remember when I wrote that letter to Howard Stern and the times went nuts.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_25]: He wrote letters to Howard.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_25]: How many times did that appear in one of those columns?

- 58:27[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, they count.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_25]: So in a couple pages.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_25]: And he says the Board should have taken stenographic audio or video recording.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_25]: I agree with that.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_25]: It's a nice letter.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_25]: Oh, and it's CC to this attorney who supposedly representing the city, but we don't know if she really is.
- 58:53[SPEAKER_25]: I wish I could read the whole thing down here, but I can't because I'm out of time.
