Reds Call Up Jorge for Speed and Defense | Cincinnati Reds News
The Reds are juggling infield depth with key players sidelined, prompting a savvy move to call up 22-year-old Carlos Jorge — a defensive whiz and base-stealing machine — just before their Brewers series. With Ivan Johnson sent down to make room and Michael Toglia moved to the 60-day IL, Jorge’s bat is heating up (.360+ in his last 20 games) and his versatility at second base makes him a perfect fit. This early look could shape the team’s outfield plans for years to come. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn. Advertise on DNN:advertise@thednn.ai…
