- 0:19Speaker 2: woke up at four oh one and couldn't go back
- 0:21Speaker 2: to sleep, so came in. Yeah, but I did not
- 0:24Speaker 2: encounter any fog on the layer, but you did.
- 0:25Speaker 1: On the west side. Yes, it was foggy again. Oh wow.

- 0:50Speaker 2: and Sunday on Sunday.
- 0:52Speaker 4: And then next week are we gonna be test?
- 0:54Speaker 1: Next week is gonna be like call the UH Chamber
- 0:57Speaker 1: of Commerce. I think you'll like it.

- 1:06Speaker 2: eighty four, eighty four, eighty six.
- 1:08Speaker 1: That spring, how about spring?
- 1:10Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:10Speaker 4: Oh, that's going to be so nice and.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Chances of rain are zero zero.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Finally, I don't like what I get up because we
- 1:18Speaker 4: get up so early and it's all wet outside. I'm like,
- 1:22Speaker 4: this is going to be a hit or miss on
- 1:23Speaker 4: the roads. How are people going to be driving this morning?
- 1:25Speaker 1: I don't like the N word. Yeah, N word? What
- 1:28Speaker 1: is it? I don't know what? Oh?
- 1:30Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, like a cake?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah oh yeah?
- 1:33Speaker 4: When a cake dry?
- 1:35Speaker 2: I want a cupcake or cakes to be MOI.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I'll finish it. I hate that word.
- 1:41Speaker 4: It's kind of uncomfy.
- 1:42Speaker 1: I just would rather use damp either. Not like going
- 1:45Speaker 1: outside in this damp. I don't like it.
- 1:46Speaker 2: A damp cake, damp sand, lamp, no, no for the
- 1:49Speaker 2: weather outside. I don't want to use the N word.
- 1:51Speaker 2: I'll call it hate.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Can be rich and creamy, but not more. I hate
- 1:55Speaker 1: that word.
- 1:56Speaker 4: But the word damp sounds bad if you're talking about
- 1:58Speaker 4: anything other than the ground.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Right, Damp is number a good word. It's just not
- 2:03Speaker 1: nothing is ever.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You never ever picked up something and said, man, I
- 2:06Speaker 2: wish this was damp sogged? Can this be damper? I
- 2:09Speaker 2: get this in a damp maybe a rag if you're
- 2:12Speaker 2: gonna pick up like a rag you want to clean
- 2:13Speaker 2: some off, I need.
- 2:14Speaker 1: A damp rag. Yeah, yeah, No, How the heck did
- 2:18Speaker 1: we get out talking about damp?
- 2:19Speaker 3: We don't.
- 2:19Speaker 4: We don't have any good synonyms, like really, we don't.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Okay, note to sell, come up with new synatam new word.
- 2:26Speaker 4: John, You're not the groundhog, but you could be the
- 2:28Speaker 4: word ground.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Be the word ground. Working on it now on the
- 2:32Speaker 3: other side of the room.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So we got a pop quiz coming up right around
- 2:34Speaker 1: seven twenty.
- 2:36Speaker 2: You get a call right around seven to ten, yep,
- 2:38Speaker 2: and UH can take us to Torto, to some more tortoo.
- 2:41Speaker 3: And these are these ones that you can't hardly find anywhere,
- 2:44Speaker 3: and they're expensive if you can find them, they are.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Take us to see George Burg's at Clay County Fair.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Got that we got that fifty dollars gift card to
- 2:50Speaker 3: Gray's Craze and probably about nine to ten we'll do
- 2:53Speaker 3: that again.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And will will you hear today's floor hero story? Oh
- 2:56Speaker 2: my gosh, it's incredible, mind blowing.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 3: If you you got to stay with us because you're
- 3:01Speaker 3: going to hear it again.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Local story told by a listener who was there on
- 3:05Speaker 2: the scene when it happened.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Really truly incredible story. Just stick around for that.
- 3:09Speaker 2: It's getting to Megan's three things on this Jacksonville Friday.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Man, it feels good, ready to have Friday?
- 3:15Speaker 4: It does? And I bet a lot of the high
- 3:16Speaker 4: school seniors are feeling good today too. A lot of
- 3:19Speaker 4: seniors are getting ready to skip school today. But if
- 3:22Speaker 4: you are one of these seniors, just know there are
- 3:27Speaker 4: some rules. There are some consequences to your action. If
- 3:30Speaker 4: you decide to go hang out at Jack's Beach all
- 3:32Speaker 4: day instead of sitting in your classroom and what's that,
- 3:35Speaker 4: you'll be marked as an excuse to absence. They had
- 3:39Speaker 4: flyers posted around trying to get kids to stay in school.
- 3:42Speaker 3: You think, right now there's a parent who had not
- 3:44Speaker 3: heard of this, who's texting their child right now. Listen.
- 3:48Speaker 3: If you're going to go, don't go jecks.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yeah, check in the SCS.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Yep, I'll sign your excuse I skipped score one time,
- 3:56Speaker 3: or don't you dare you better have your button glass.
- 3:58Speaker 2: In ninth grade, I skip school and had my friends
- 4:01Speaker 2: bring me home at the time that we school would
- 4:03Speaker 2: get out.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Yeah, my dad was waiting in the driveway on me. Oof,
- 4:05Speaker 1: he already knew I was school. I said it was good.
- 4:08Speaker 1: He goes, not sure how that was since you didn't
- 4:10Speaker 1: go uh oh, yeah, yeah, it's not good.
- 4:12Speaker 4: Southern Living names Saint Augustine the number one small beach
- 4:16Speaker 4: town in the South. It was awesome. And then Fernandina
- 4:19Speaker 4: Beach also made the list. They ranked twentieth. I think
- 4:22Speaker 4: they should have been a lot higher.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I think number two. Yeah, I don't know.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Definitely, Desin's good, Buton's got some beautiful saying they ain't
- 4:30Speaker 2: got peg leg peto.
- 4:32Speaker 4: No, no, they don't, and Fernandina is kind of underrated.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Y's so beautiful.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Well let's keep it that way though.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Agreed. It's Jumbo Shrimp Opening Day. They're playing the Rochester
- 4:41Speaker 4: Red Wings tonight and there's going to be fireworks too
- 4:44Speaker 4: after the game four pm. The street carnival's going on.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Gates open at five thirty.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Yeah, we want to be down there.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it'll be so fun. Seven o'clock, just after seven
- 4:53Speaker 4: is when the game starts. That's three things you need
- 4:54Speaker 4: to know.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Sairly, we need to know why you up need the
- 4:57Speaker 2: first color of the day. Nine oh four, three eight,
- 4:59Speaker 2: eight thirty six ninety nine call us right now? Good?
- 5:02Speaker 3: I love it, Big Show Froggy John and Meghan and
- 5:05Speaker 3: Country ninety nine one WQ I K with Michael.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Why are you up? Michael?
- 5:09Speaker 5: I've got to eat my breakfast and have my coffee
- 5:11Speaker 5: before trying for for Tuba tickets. It's to Tuga torture
- 5:16Speaker 5: all week.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Well, we've heard a hearty breakfast helps when it comes
- 5:19Speaker 3: to plans. It's going to be the weekend, whether yeah
- 5:21Speaker 3: or not, it happens.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Sometimes doing nothing is doing something.
- 5:24Speaker 3: It ain't the truth, uh for sure. Froggy John and Meghan,
- 5:28Speaker 3: We're the Big Show and good to be with you.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Megan, you have Netflix, I deal, John, you have Netflix?
- 5:32Speaker 1: No you do not?
- 5:33Speaker 3: No, so then John, the story will not mean a
- 5:36Speaker 3: hill of being We got we got it for Stranger
- 5:38Speaker 3: Things and my wife just can't. She got it to
- 5:40Speaker 3: watch Stranger Things and then cancel, cancel. Yeah, we don't.
- 5:43Speaker 1: We don't do Netflix.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Well, Netflix is going up in price, yes, second time
- 5:47Speaker 2: in less than a year. The Premium plan will now
- 5:51Speaker 2: cost twenty six ninety nine a month, up from twenty
- 5:53Speaker 2: four ninety nine.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Really, you're paying twenty six dollars a month.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Not me.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I'm on the basic plan. I get ten come on
- 6:00Speaker 4: every five.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Now I know why we don't have it.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yes, so the ads supported tier will now go to
- 6:04Speaker 2: eight ninety nine a month compared to seven ninety nine earlier,
- 6:07Speaker 2: while prices for the standard plan are going up two
- 6:10Speaker 2: dollars a month to nineteen ninety nine a month.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Holy cow, it's just dumb. I hear a lot of
- 6:14Speaker 4: people are cutting Netflix.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Well, remember the thing before was cut the cord.
- 6:18Speaker 2: So you but so you just you get Netflix, but
- 6:20Speaker 2: then you had to have Hulu, Then you had to
- 6:22Speaker 2: have Disney.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And then you get the ESPN. Yeah, Disney Bundle and
- 6:25Speaker 1: all that.
- 6:26Speaker 2: HBO Max Yeah, and CBS has their paramount. Then NBC's
- 6:30Speaker 2: got Peacock and Fox has their streaming.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Think you're paying four hundred dollars a month, You're playing
- 6:34Speaker 3: more than your family hundred and fifty dollars worth of well,
- 6:37Speaker 3: not even one hundred and fifty dollars a month worth
- 6:39Speaker 3: of stuff.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and at the beginnings, we didn't have to sit
- 6:42Speaker 4: through all the different commercials like during a movie. Right,
- 6:45Speaker 4: I don't want to sit through a commercial if I'm
- 6:47Speaker 4: paying a subscription in the middle of it.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yes, it one.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Way, any subscription. Yeah, yes, I agree, that's.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Crazy stuff you got Netflix.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Just be prepared because they raised these things and they
- 6:57Speaker 2: don't I guess they'll send you an email telling you,
- 7:00Speaker 2: but you'll see, like I mean, Netflix sends you emails
- 7:02Speaker 2: all the time. If you don't pay attention to it.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Next thing, you know, you look at your billiyoight whatit
- 7:05Speaker 2: second when they raise that, and when they do it
- 7:08Speaker 2: by two dollars increments, so you're like.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Oh, it's two bucks. What's that for you?
- 7:12Speaker 4: It's doubled, right, And they are so hardcore about how
- 7:17Speaker 4: you watch the subscription you pay for because sharing it, yes,
- 7:21Speaker 4: you can't share it anymore.
- 7:23Speaker 1: They've really cut down on that.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:24Speaker 4: If you go to a hotel and you log in,
- 7:26Speaker 4: you then whoever's at your house can't be watching it.
- 7:29Speaker 4: It's wild.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Yeah, they're doing.
- 7:32Speaker 4: My YouTube TV is the best because they don't do that.
- 7:34Speaker 4: We know that in this room.
- 7:37Speaker 1: You can get.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Somebody in this room you YouTube because they have four
- 7:43Speaker 2: K and you can pay a little extra for the
- 7:45Speaker 2: four K.
- 7:47Speaker 4: What sports know?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Con Con?
- 7:51Speaker 4: Come on? Yes, what about con?
- 7:55Speaker 2: John might be con Don John might be sharing his
- 8:00Speaker 2: yeah two TV password.
- 8:01Speaker 3: We can have you can have unlimited you want? You
- 8:03Speaker 3: want mine here with Tagg and Mary.
- 8:05Speaker 4: It's awesome. See that was very gracious of him to
- 8:07Speaker 4: do that.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Oh you're assure me too. Well, he let me cancel mine.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I'll log on the hop aboard everybody, you're all on me?
- 8:14Speaker 4: I get kicked off John's Can I get on yours?
- 8:16Speaker 5: I think.
- 8:18Speaker 3: That is yours here in this one that's not mine?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Yeah, this is me in here? Yeah yeah, yep. So whatever,
- 8:26Speaker 2: what are you gonna do? You mean, what's going on
- 8:29Speaker 2: in Nashville today?
- 8:30Speaker 4: We have a very special world premiere. Luke Bryan has
- 8:33Speaker 4: a new song country and she knows it.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I like it?
- 8:36Speaker 3: Yeah, awesome, that was great. Just played it a few
- 8:38Speaker 3: minutes ago.
- 8:38Speaker 4: We're playing it every hour.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Every hour in case you missed it.
- 8:41Speaker 4: The iHeartRadio Music Awards were last night and we've got
- 8:45Speaker 4: country winners to celebrate. I want to start off with
- 8:48Speaker 4: Morgan Wallen, who actually wins something when we do the
- 8:51Speaker 4: award show Country Artists of the Year.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's about the fan vote, and the fans
- 8:55Speaker 2: want to vote for more than Wallen.
- 8:56Speaker 1: That's why I win.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Do you Do?
- 8:57Speaker 4: And his album I'm the Problem one Country Album of
- 9:01Speaker 4: the Year, Way to go, Ella Langley, Best New Artist,
- 9:05Speaker 4: and then Country Song of the Year was good News
- 9:08Speaker 4: Chaboozy you don't, so we give it a lot of
- 9:10Speaker 4: flowers saucetime.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I hainte that the truth. And you know, I hate
- 9:13Speaker 1: award shows.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I hate them with a passion, almost as much as
- 9:15Speaker 3: I hate social media. But I think the iHeart Awards
- 9:18Speaker 3: got those right. Those are real winners, which I like
- 9:21Speaker 3: this award. I'm not saying that because they're paying my check.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Yeah, really, Morgangley, it's just good. It's it went really well.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Darius Rutger is now a NASCAR co owner the Legacy
- 9:34Speaker 4: Motor Club. This is the group that Jimmy Johnson is
- 9:37Speaker 4: with Nice, so that's neat Darius Rutgers getting into NASCAR.
- 9:41Speaker 4: He's also investing a lot into it too, so maybe
- 9:43Speaker 4: we'll see even more of a big country blow up.
- 9:46Speaker 3: And that's not a cheap sport to invest in.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Oh it is.
- 9:49Speaker 3: You can't just throw in the thousand bucks and think
- 9:51Speaker 3: you're a part of something.
- 9:52Speaker 4: So you're saying that he's rolling it in.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Yes, Terrus is done quite well, money will.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Megan.
- 9:59Speaker 4: That's your music city minute.
- 10:00Speaker 2: All right, for your quick chick on your Jack's traffick,
- 10:01Speaker 2: for your Friday early morning Riday.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And what's it look like now?
- 10:04Speaker 3: John Construction has half the lanes blocked on ten westbound
- 10:07Speaker 3: as it has been for the past seams like seven
- 10:10Speaker 3: eight months. But that's just only slowed down right now
- 10:12Speaker 3: that we can seeteen ninety nine one w q i
- 10:15Speaker 3: K with baseball getting it all weekend too.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Yeah, we get the shrimp in town this weekend opening
- 10:20Speaker 2: night tonight on a street carnival.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Was it four o'clock start?
- 10:22Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 10:23Speaker 2: And then I think tomorrow night giving away replica rings
- 10:26Speaker 2: to everybody who goes to the game from the championship
- 10:28Speaker 2: last year.
- 10:29Speaker 4: That's really neat.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So seven o five tonight, six thirty five usually on Saturdays,
- 10:34Speaker 3: and then at two o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday game.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So game on Sunday. I love an afternoon game. I
- 10:40Speaker 1: love a Sunday afternoon game at the ballpark.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Actually be perfect.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Yeah's I could be crazy hot. It is going to
- 10:45Speaker 3: be great. We've got some country music coming.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Parker McCollum's in town tonight and tomorrow night at the
- 10:50Speaker 4: Saint Augustine Amphitheater. I just love him.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't care. You know.
- 10:55Speaker 3: He puts out music and says I saw that. You know,
- 10:57Speaker 3: he's like, hey, that's what I make. Just because it
- 11:00Speaker 3: didn't sell as big as the last one, I don't
- 11:02Speaker 3: give a blank.
- 11:02Speaker 1: He really said it, he said, I don't care. I
- 11:04Speaker 1: don't I don't care.
- 11:05Speaker 3: He puts out the music that he wants to make,
- 11:07Speaker 3: and I think, man, you gotta have that's integrity there.
- 11:09Speaker 3: You're not just kind of sucking up to try to
- 11:11Speaker 3: sell a record.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Something nice about hearing an artist say this album was
- 11:15Speaker 4: for me. This is my creative work.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:18Speaker 4: If you don't stream it, you don't stream it.
- 11:20Speaker 3: But how it goes, yeah, I'm very happy with it.
- 11:23Speaker 1: It's art.
- 11:23Speaker 2: You're right, it is art. It is his art. And
- 11:26Speaker 2: it would be like looking at a painting that an
- 11:28Speaker 2: artist does and saying, well, you know, I don't really
- 11:30Speaker 2: like how he painted that, but did you you're not
- 11:32Speaker 2: the painter.
- 11:33Speaker 1: That's right.
- 11:34Speaker 2: In his case, Parker McCollum is the painter. Yep, he
- 11:36Speaker 2: painted his art. He gave it to us. If you
- 11:38Speaker 2: like it, that's great.
- 11:39Speaker 1: If you don't.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Maybe he doesn't sound nice when he said he doesn't care,
- 11:43Speaker 2: but the truth is he doesn't have.
- 11:44Speaker 1: To, right, That's true, folks who care.
- 11:47Speaker 3: Disney. Disney on Ice is here all weekend. It's tonight,
- 11:51Speaker 3: it's uh yeah tonight, and then three shows tomorrow, two
- 11:55Speaker 3: shows on Sunday. Yeah, we appreciate them giving us some
- 11:58Speaker 3: tickets to give away for a couple of weeks. And
- 12:01Speaker 3: then one of the stars at the show came by
- 12:03Speaker 3: and said hi to us. So that was very nice too.
- 12:05Speaker 3: So you got Disney on Ice all weekend. Very cool
- 12:08Speaker 3: thing happening in Vietnam War Veterans Day commemoration. This is
- 12:12Speaker 3: tomorrow at the uss Orlic. It's a free commemoration, but
- 12:16Speaker 3: you can tour the ship available for only eight dollars
- 12:19Speaker 3: and eighty six cents.
- 12:20Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Is a really cool ship to tour too. That's the
- 12:23Speaker 4: one I went through and I had never been on
- 12:25Speaker 4: a naval ship before because in the Army we just
- 12:28Speaker 4: walk everywhere. We don't get to get on a cool boat.
- 12:30Speaker 4: It was neat. I mean I was like, whoa, you
- 12:33Speaker 4: guys just live in these and the door frames are
- 12:36Speaker 4: so small, so the two of you would have to
- 12:38Speaker 4: like duck read it through. And you're like people had
- 12:41Speaker 4: to carry all these heavy trays up and down these
- 12:43Speaker 4: little tiny narrow stairs. Wild that is.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Cool, So enjoy that and enjoy the commemoration. And if
- 12:50Speaker 3: you're into the flowers, because you know who doesn't need
- 12:52Speaker 3: more allergies, there's the blooms galore and more. The Garden
- 12:56Speaker 3: Club of Jacksonville. It's a free thing happening tomorrow morning,
- 12:59Speaker 3: so get your go gardening on because that's the number
- 13:01Speaker 3: one hobby in Jacksonville.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It really is.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Literally is gardening really Yeah, more people gardened than do
- 13:07Speaker 3: any other kind of hobby.
- 13:08Speaker 4: I love that you can tell people's yards just look beautiful.
- 13:11Speaker 4: I can't wait to see them in full bloom.
- 13:13Speaker 3: A lot going on this weekend inside outside really is,
- 13:16Speaker 3: so make sure you get outside, enjoy yourself, and take
- 13:18Speaker 3: us for you everywhere you go.
- 13:19Speaker 2: I think every hour this weekend, we're giving away tickets
- 13:22Speaker 2: to see Brett Young at the Clay County Fair on
- 13:25Speaker 2: Easter Sunday. Good morning, John, Good morning, From morning Megan,
- 13:29Speaker 2: Good morning, Welcome to a Friday.
- 13:31Speaker 1: So let's be honest. The use of AI has gone wild.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It is and in some cases it is very helpful,
- 13:39Speaker 2: like if you're writing a paper or if you're trying
- 13:40Speaker 2: to figure something out. Like I saw a thing the
- 13:43Speaker 2: other day a guy completely sold his.
- 13:45Speaker 1: House on AI. Used AI to sell his house.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Saw that and made like one hundred grand more than
- 13:49Speaker 2: he would have made when the realtor was going to
- 13:51Speaker 2: try to sell it. So there are good things for AI.
- 13:54Speaker 2: And I'm sure you use it at work. You can
- 13:56Speaker 2: use it in your everyday life. A lot of people
- 13:58Speaker 2: we use AI as much as they used to use
- 14:00Speaker 2: Google now, right, exactly because it really helps to use it.
- 14:03Speaker 2: I use it at least once a day.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 14:06Speaker 2: So according to this professor, he says, there's one word,
- 14:10Speaker 2: whether it's in a paper that you're writing, in a resume,
- 14:13Speaker 2: whatever you're doing, that is absolute ninety nine point nine
- 14:17Speaker 2: percent chance that AI has written it.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Really, yes, there is one of those big four dollars words.
- 14:23Speaker 3: It's a word that I think we've heard it before.
- 14:25Speaker 3: But when I tell you what the word is. You're
- 14:27Speaker 3: gonna be like, oh yeah, nobody uses that word. Okay,
- 14:29Speaker 3: we'll see the word is moreover? Do you use moreover
- 14:35Speaker 3: as a regular word when I'm writing you do?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Yeah? Feel are thinking that you're using AI. Well they're wrong.
- 14:40Speaker 4: Wow, they think that your original work isn't original.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I'm guaranteed.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Human Demon says if the word moreover shows up, and
- 14:48Speaker 3: yes you are and are we all here?
- 14:51Speaker 1: I mean just listening.
- 14:51Speaker 2: We'll tell you if the word moreover shows up in
- 14:54Speaker 2: your paper, he says in a TikTok, there's a ninety
- 14:57Speaker 2: nine percent chance that AI has written it. Now I'll
- 15:00Speaker 2: tell you what I was asking my son, because he's
- 15:02Speaker 2: in college. He will write a paper, pullin AI and
- 15:08Speaker 2: ask AI to kind of fix it, and then he
- 15:11Speaker 2: rewrites it in his own words.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a helper man, that's an aid. Yeah, which
- 15:16Speaker 3: I was great. It's like there was that website Grammarly.
- 15:19Speaker 3: You could subscribe to Grammarly. It would help you put
- 15:22Speaker 3: things in the right way, and it's just a way
- 15:24Speaker 3: of doing it.
- 15:25Speaker 4: At my college I just got my master's degree from,
- 15:28Speaker 4: they actually give you a Grammarly subscription and encourage you
- 15:31Speaker 4: to use it and all you do is click on
- 15:33Speaker 4: the word and it will add your commas, it will
- 15:35Speaker 4: fix your spelling. So it kind of feels like you're
- 15:39Speaker 4: cheating almost even though it is.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I guess it's a real slippery slope.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It's a real fine line in between using it to
- 15:47Speaker 2: be an aid or a helper versus using it to
- 15:50Speaker 2: do your work.
- 15:51Speaker 1: That's true.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And as a professor or a teacher, now I would
- 15:55Speaker 2: I don't envy them at all trying to figure this out.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Did did Sally write this or did a I write
- 16:00Speaker 2: and Sally turned it in like it's And you know.
- 16:02Speaker 4: What's interesting too, is like when I was submitting my papers,
- 16:07Speaker 4: which would be like ten some of them would be
- 16:10Speaker 4: over ten pages long, you would have to submit it
- 16:13Speaker 4: through an AI checking system and it would give you
- 16:16Speaker 4: a rating that would give you an idea of Hey,
- 16:19Speaker 4: your paper is going to get flagged for AI. So
- 16:22Speaker 4: if you've written it yourself and you're too smart sounding,
- 16:25Speaker 4: I've had to go back in my papers and take
- 16:27Speaker 4: out some like it down yes, but literally.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Put eight in there.
- 16:31Speaker 3: I'm using AI to see if we're using exactly Yes,
- 16:35Speaker 3: AI's teaching AI.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Forget it. We're done we're doing.
- 16:39Speaker 4: It's wild.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Go back to pen and paper, That's what I'm saying.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Get your composition notebooks out.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I got two of them.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Right here, number two pencils only.
- 16:47Speaker 1: The old school guy.
- 16:49Speaker 2: I don't like college role, don't want the wide world.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Three pages is a lot quicker to write on than
- 16:54Speaker 2: college Rolie World.
- 16:55Speaker 4: You use the whole book in one class.
- 16:58Speaker 1: I would us in preschool.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Like the blue line, yes, the dotted line, so you
- 17:02Speaker 3: can hit those the lowercase.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I'll right on that. Three things kids. You started on
- 17:10Speaker 1: your Jack's Friday. What's going on?
- 17:12Speaker 4: Well, the Blocks Jacks is working on fixing their parking
- 17:15Speaker 4: situation because last weekend when they kicked off, there was
- 17:18Speaker 4: thousands of people that flocked. They've got one hundred and
- 17:21Speaker 4: twenty five parking spaces, which is a lot. It is,
- 17:23Speaker 4: but when you've got all these people who want to
- 17:25Speaker 4: come to the place, it was a crazy situation. So
- 17:28Speaker 4: they're taking a look at some options. But it's not
- 17:32Speaker 4: like you can just create parking lot for thousands of
- 17:35Speaker 4: people over night.
- 17:35Speaker 2: No, it says it before you go one hundred and
- 17:37Speaker 2: twenty five spaces on site, Like you said, do not
- 17:40Speaker 2: park in surrounding private businesses unless it is there's a
- 17:44Speaker 2: sign that says you can, and they said that the
- 17:46Speaker 2: community first, that's next door.
- 17:48Speaker 1: They're going to allow over for parking, but only after
- 17:51Speaker 1: hours when they're closed.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Okay.
- 17:53Speaker 1: See, you just have to be careful.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yeah, if you can get in an uberb it might
- 17:57Speaker 4: be your best bet.
- 17:58Speaker 1: You said you can't take a pet in an uber Yeah, you.
- 18:01Speaker 4: Can, like select for one, but they're really hard to find,
- 18:05Speaker 4: and then you have to risk if they don't like
- 18:09Speaker 4: something the dog has done, you know, or something I
- 18:11Speaker 4: couldn't take my German shepherd in one.
- 18:12Speaker 1: There's no way.
- 18:14Speaker 4: This weekend the Buckman Bridge is going to be closed again.
- 18:17Speaker 4: So remember this if you do not want to be
- 18:20Speaker 4: stuck in only two lanes on the Buckman ten pm
- 18:24Speaker 4: tonight all the way till early Monday morning. This is
- 18:27Speaker 4: heading southbound. It's just going to be a mess.
- 18:30Speaker 1: It can be a mess.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Yeah, if you go early in the morning, maybe it
- 18:33Speaker 3: be okay, But it builds quickly and it backs up quickly.
- 18:37Speaker 3: And so those you know, they have the signs and
- 18:39Speaker 3: no matter where you are, you can be on iten.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Like last night on iten it said hey this weekend
- 18:45Speaker 3: and so they're prompting you to just keep your eyes
- 18:47Speaker 3: open if you forget us.
- 18:48Speaker 1: John remembers when I got stuck on the b on
- 18:50Speaker 1: the Buckman Bridge. Y. Yeah, he was like, what the hell?
- 18:55Speaker 3: What of this? Remember that today is quite colorful?
- 18:58Speaker 4: Yes, Senior skip day today for a lot of seniors.
- 19:05Speaker 4: And although you know, I don't want to encourage not
- 19:07Speaker 4: going to school, I do think it's kind of funny
- 19:11Speaker 4: because the consequence that they made it sound like it
- 19:14Speaker 4: was going to be such a big thing, and all
- 19:16Speaker 4: the flyers that were being posted with little law enforcements
- 19:19Speaker 4: in on this too. And we know if you're going
- 19:21Speaker 4: to be on jack'speach an unexcused absence, Oh the horror
- 19:25Speaker 4: marked on your permanent record.
- 19:27Speaker 5: WHOA.
- 19:29Speaker 4: That's three things you need to know.
- 19:30Speaker 2: All right. The pop quiz for tickets to go to
- 19:32Speaker 2: Tortuga Music Festival the entire weekend. We're not sending you
- 19:35Speaker 2: for just one day. All three days Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- 19:39Speaker 2: The headliners are post Alone, Riley Green and Kenny Chesney
- 19:43Speaker 2: Sunday Night on the Beach in Fort Lauderdale. I'm telling you,
- 19:46Speaker 2: it's like it's just it's gonna be the best concert
- 19:49Speaker 2: moment you've ever experienced. So if you want to go,
- 19:52Speaker 2: call us nine and ten right now, nine oh four, three, eight,
- 19:54Speaker 2: eight thirty six at ninety nine played the popuer rub.
- 19:57Speaker 3: We've done the other two headliners. So let's go ahead
- 19:59Speaker 3: and find out out how old this guy is? Riley
- 20:02Speaker 3: Green at good looking Riley Green, Lisa, how old is he.
- 20:06Speaker 5: Twenty eight?
- 20:08Speaker 1: Nancy? Older or younger?
- 20:09Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh, he's older. He is.
- 20:11Speaker 3: He's thirty seven years old. Wow, thirty seven years old.
- 20:14Speaker 3: So Nancy gets that point. Good job, good job, weld Onne. Okay,
- 20:18Speaker 3: here we go. What percentage of the US population are adults?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Nancy?
- 20:24Speaker 5: I would say, oh, gosh, fifty.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Lisa, is that number higher or lower?
- 20:32Speaker 1: Higher?
- 20:32Speaker 3: You're right, seventy eight. Seventy eight percent of the United
- 20:35Speaker 3: States are adults.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Adults.
- 20:37Speaker 3: That's a big kid, adults not acting like adults. No,
- 20:41Speaker 3: that's a lot lower number.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Lisa gets that point, and it's tie this time for
- 20:46Speaker 3: the tie breaker, and here we go. If you know
- 20:49Speaker 3: the answer to this question, shout your name. What's the state?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Will give the multiple choice? What's the state capital of Arizona?
- 20:56Speaker 3: Is it Phoenix or flag Staff? Dancy did Lisa say
- 21:02Speaker 3: her name? Lisa said her name while Nancy was saying
- 21:06Speaker 3: flag staff. So Lisa, your guest, what is the answer?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Phoenix is the answer, Phoenix, Phoenix is the answer. Awesome, Nancy.
- 21:15Speaker 3: We appreciate your playing, but Lisa's going to be our
- 21:17Speaker 3: winner today.
- 21:19Speaker 6: I'm glad Lisa you go girl.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Thank you. You hear we share and Lisa, look at you.
- 21:25Speaker 3: It's a pair of tickets to get down for the
- 21:27Speaker 3: weekend at Tortuga Music Festival.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I have to go every year.
- 21:32Speaker 2: You're going Genny Chesney on the beach on a Sunday afternoon.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Boom is a life highlight. You were going to have
- 21:38Speaker 2: the best time. Thank you.
- 21:39Speaker 3: We still have Clay County Fair tickets for George Birch.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Will do that around a thirty country ninety nine one
- 21:44Speaker 3: w QIK.
- 21:45Speaker 1: She said she sit it over to sea.
- 21:50Speaker 3: And Steve loyal listener. Steve has a Flora hero story
- 21:55Speaker 3: for us. This happened this Tuesday right here.
- 21:58Speaker 5: These are true Jackson four. The heroes cose out down
- 22:02Speaker 5: two ninety five on the way home, just past monument
- 22:07Speaker 5: I do it was. The Mercedes goes off into the
- 22:09Speaker 5: retention pond unexpectedly car skims across the lake halfway out
- 22:15Speaker 5: into the lake and stop. So I'm right behind it,
- 22:18Speaker 5: so I stopped. Multiple other people start to stop, so
- 22:22Speaker 5: we got like a couple of minutes where that car
- 22:24Speaker 5: goes under. So we develop a plan run around the
- 22:26Speaker 5: back side of the lake. Two of the guys, two
- 22:29Speaker 5: or three of the guys jumped in. I don't have
- 22:30Speaker 5: their names. I wish they did. H I got the
- 22:33Speaker 5: rope out of the truck. We tied the rope to
- 22:34Speaker 5: the back of the wheel of the car. We dragged
- 22:37Speaker 5: the car over to the bank and kept getting two
- 22:39Speaker 5: feet of water. The lady was unconscious but breathing, and
- 22:43Speaker 5: so we kept her head above water. And just a
- 22:46Speaker 5: group of people came together there to hold that car
- 22:49Speaker 5: up on the bank so we could get rescue there
- 22:51Speaker 5: and get that lady out. When I left, she was conscious,
- 22:55Speaker 5: talking to rescue on the side of the lake.
- 22:57Speaker 3: There the retention pond adrenaline us to be pumping like crazy.
- 23:01Speaker 5: Yeah, it took me, Uh, it took out.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Well, I bet man, that's crazy.
- 23:11Speaker 3: It's amazing. I mean, how thankful you were just to
- 23:13Speaker 3: be a part of it. But you're you're you're part
- 23:15Speaker 3: of it. Buddy, and we appreciate. And nothing does my
- 23:18Speaker 3: heart better than seeing everybody drop their lives to go
- 23:21Speaker 3: help somebody else.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Yeah, the guys who went with water had, you know,
- 23:25Speaker 5: true heroes there. They basically the car was still floating,
- 23:29Speaker 5: so we are to pull it and push it to
- 23:31Speaker 5: the side of the lake. Alter those their names Haven
- 23:34Speaker 5: called in and give a shout out.
- 23:36Speaker 3: Well, thank you, Steve, you and all the other wonderful
- 23:39Speaker 3: people of Jacksonville who helped that.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Lady, you are Flora heroes today. Yeah. Country song of
- 23:50Speaker 1: the Year. That's the good news there for you.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Now the good news It's Friday, Big show Froggy John
- 23:55Speaker 3: and Meghan Good to be with you with country ninety
- 23:57Speaker 3: nine one w qy K.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Gonna be a beautiful day today, little chili tomorrow, I
- 24:01Speaker 2: think sixty eight Sunday for the High and then seventy
- 24:04Speaker 2: two on Sunday.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I'm digging it. But like no rain, Yeah, no rain,
- 24:07Speaker 3: that looks great. Yeah, right, So TV last night I
- 24:10Speaker 3: heard any Music Awards like you just talked about. Really
- 24:12Speaker 3: good show. Yeah, Taylor Swift was there, was hosted by Ludicrous.
- 24:15Speaker 3: He was just here at the Players. Yeah, but all
- 24:18Speaker 3: the country ones that were there. I feel like the
- 24:21Speaker 3: songs and the awards that were handed out for the
- 24:25Speaker 3: country categories those the ones I.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Paid attention to the most right. I feel like they
- 24:29Speaker 1: went to the right people.
- 24:31Speaker 4: So is it fan votes that determine these it is?
- 24:34Speaker 3: It is fantastic. Cool thing about iHeart iHeart Music Awards
- 24:37Speaker 3: is that it is fan driven.
- 24:39Speaker 6: So we had Country Song of the Year that was
- 24:43Speaker 6: my Country Artists of the Year was Ella Langley. Oh,
- 24:46Speaker 6: she's new artists Morgan Country So Morgan, okay, rightfully, so
- 24:51Speaker 6: be Al Dean, Jelly Laney and Luke Colmbs. Okay, Well,
- 24:56Speaker 6: whe's just fine. All great nominees, all great nominees. Morgan
- 24:59Speaker 6: Wallen is our artists of the year. You said best
- 25:01Speaker 6: New Artist was Ella Ella Angley. She beat out Chase Matthew,
- 25:05Speaker 6: Hudson Westbrook, Josh rosson'sac top.
- 25:07Speaker 1: No argument with the nominees or the winner. Yeah, the
- 25:10Speaker 1: Country Album of the Year was Morgan.
- 25:13Speaker 4: I'm the problem, right, I think that was I think
- 25:17Speaker 4: a fan vote. Yeah, that's what we all listen to.
- 25:20Speaker 3: I mean, your job, good job you. We always say
- 25:22Speaker 3: our listeners are the smartest people on earth.
- 25:23Speaker 2: How many number one songs are we Deep into Morgan
- 25:26Speaker 2: Wallen the problem. Yeah, it's like eight or nine deep. Yeah,
- 25:32Speaker 2: pretty good album.
- 25:33Speaker 4: Everyone else can ignore him, but we won't.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Right.
- 25:36Speaker 3: That's a great way to put it, Megan. I think
- 25:38Speaker 3: that's it because the industry likes to put their nose
- 25:40Speaker 3: up at things that are popular.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Well, and people are still hanging on to something he
- 25:43Speaker 1: did a long time ago.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Oh exactly, and they'll try to find even he's listen,
- 25:48Speaker 2: he shouldn't have done it. I'm not I'm not saying
- 25:50Speaker 2: what he did wasn't wrong, but it wasn't done in
- 25:54Speaker 2: the way that it was portrayed, exactly. It was not
- 25:56Speaker 2: done the way it was for trade. And he has
- 25:59Speaker 2: served his time. He has said he was sorry, he
- 26:01Speaker 2: would he's done everything right and let's be honest.
- 26:04Speaker 1: We we were just talking about it.
- 26:06Speaker 2: He's just been an Instagram post last night and said, Hey,
- 26:08Speaker 2: time for me to come back out of hibernation.
- 26:10Speaker 1: He's been gone for a while, he has, and there's
- 26:13Speaker 1: been no trouble for Morgan Wallin. That's zero good to hear. Zero.
- 26:16Speaker 2: He said he's staying out of bars, he's not drinking,
- 26:19Speaker 2: and he just goes on the woods and hangs out
- 26:21Speaker 2: and goes hunting with his buddy.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Seems like bad things happen when he drinks too much,
- 26:24Speaker 3: and that happens with a lot of people.
- 26:26Speaker 1: He's just like us. Yeah, he is well.
- 26:28Speaker 4: And plus how many other artists can you think of
- 26:30Speaker 4: that can just completely disappear from the public eye like
- 26:33Speaker 4: that for so long, multiple times, and you still have
- 26:38Speaker 4: your music that people you put out and people still
- 26:40Speaker 4: love cranking out.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Number one is good point yep. And he's hades two
- 26:44Speaker 2: shows coming here soon. It'll be at the Swamp in Gainesville.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You know that place where the Who plays there? Those
- 26:49Speaker 2: Gators that's right, those Florida Gators play at the Swamping Games.
- 26:52Speaker 1: No, here we go.
- 26:53Speaker 2: They'll he's doing two shows there, one with Thomas Rhet's
- 26:56Speaker 2: opening one I think Ella Langley's opening. The second one
- 26:59Speaker 2: that's gonna be so cool.
- 27:00Speaker 3: So he's doing it credible, incredible.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So let's get into Megan Street teens on a Jack's Friday.
- 27:06Speaker 1: How's it looking well?
- 27:08Speaker 4: Before you get the weekend started off, you need to
- 27:10Speaker 4: know about the Buckman Bridge being closed again. Two lanes
- 27:14Speaker 4: southbound are going to be gone. So if you can
- 27:17Speaker 4: avoid it, avoid it so that people that have to
- 27:19Speaker 4: take that. You don't have to just sit around for
- 27:22Speaker 4: hours on end the block Jacks. I'm not a dress girl.
- 27:29Speaker 3: And when Froggy called me, it feels like he was
- 27:31Speaker 3: going to be there for seventeen hours.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Yeah, it does.
- 27:33Speaker 1: It feels like that.
- 27:34Speaker 4: And you were there for a long time.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I was on the other side, backed up all the
- 27:37Speaker 1: way past Blanding.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Yes, and then you're stuck.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Yeah, because I was.
- 27:41Speaker 2: At that point where when you get past Blanding, there's
- 27:44Speaker 2: nowhere to go. You can't you turn you, I mean,
- 27:47Speaker 2: there's nothing you can do.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You called John. You stuck it. We had to ride
- 27:51Speaker 1: it out together.
- 27:52Speaker 4: You just start driving over the medians, struck into four
- 27:55Speaker 4: wheel drive.
- 27:55Speaker 1: That was only all I can do. I just called
- 27:57Speaker 1: John Scott.
- 27:57Speaker 2: So if you get stuck on the Buckman Bridge this weekend,
- 28:01Speaker 2: the best thing you can do is you could call
- 28:03Speaker 2: John Scott.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Give me a call. Call him. His number is nine
- 28:05Speaker 1: oh four. Yeah, fie.
- 28:10Speaker 4: This weekend. If you're going to the Blocks Jacks to
- 28:12Speaker 4: check it out, just know that they are working on
- 28:15Speaker 4: the parking situation. But you can't have a quick fix
- 28:17Speaker 4: overnight when you have that many people, I mean the
- 28:20Speaker 4: amount of people coming to their opening was comparable to
- 28:24Speaker 4: a country concert.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think it's going to be like last
- 28:28Speaker 1: weekend now. Yeah.
- 28:29Speaker 4: No, and the Jumbo Shrimp are having their opening day tonight,
- 28:34Speaker 4: seven o five they play, but there's a lot more
- 28:37Speaker 4: going on. Four pm, a street carnival. The gates open
- 28:40Speaker 4: up at five point thirty and there will be fireworks tonight.
- 28:43Speaker 4: So that's really exciting. Three things you need to know.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Let's get a quick check on your Jack's Friday Travick
- 28:47Speaker 2: gets you where you're going on time?
- 28:48Speaker 3: How's it look John five o'clock somewhere Fast, not starring
- 28:52Speaker 3: Alan Jackson. It's okay. I think you just put it
- 28:54Speaker 3: together if you hear about this thing happening. The tickets
- 28:58Speaker 3: are going on sale today, I think is when it is.
- 29:00Speaker 3: We had the announcement of this thing down in West Palm,
- 29:03Speaker 3: the Alan Jackson five o'clock somewhere Fast. Yes, no Alan
- 29:07Speaker 3: Jackson to be found. We just want to let you know,
- 29:09Speaker 3: but there are cool artists. Wasn't it Ella Langley to
- 29:12Speaker 3: be there and not Alan Jackson? Not Alan Jackson? Every
- 29:16Speaker 3: time I mentioned that, I want to make sure you
- 29:18Speaker 3: people know they're not going down there.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Where where's Allan, whatever happens.
- 29:24Speaker 4: He's got a new grand baby at home.
- 29:25Speaker 1: I can come to see those people, to see Alan Jackson.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Opportunity for you.
- 29:38Speaker 3: This is happening, and he will be there. George Burge
- 29:41Speaker 3: will be at the Clay County Fair. He's going to
- 29:43Speaker 3: be there a week from tomorrow, from Saturday.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, tomorrow, Saturday, Saturday, it's the weekend. A week
- 29:50Speaker 1: from tomorrow. Yes, oh, from tomorrow George Bird's Clay County Fair. Yes.
- 29:53Speaker 3: So we're playing Megan's tough lyric and she gives you
- 29:56Speaker 3: one every so often though she lets up. She like
- 29:59Speaker 3: throws you a change up, not throwing the high heat
- 30:01Speaker 3: right now using baseball terminology, she's not putting the she's
- 30:04Speaker 3: not putting it right under your chin, a little chin music.
- 30:06Speaker 1: No, she's actually giving you a bit of a change.
- 30:09Speaker 4: Right in the strike zones.
- 30:10Speaker 1: All right.
- 30:12Speaker 4: There ain't nothing in this house worth making the easiest
- 30:17Speaker 4: lyrics of a speech impediment. There ain't nothing in this
- 30:20Speaker 4: house worth fighting over.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Okay, do you think you know it? That is pretty easy?
- 30:25Speaker 1: Come on.
- 30:25Speaker 3: This is a classic twenty year old song. Twenty plus. Yeah,
- 30:28Speaker 3: but it's a great one. It's a classic and Meghan's
- 30:31Speaker 3: so good to be with you. iHeartRadio Awards last night,
- 30:35Speaker 3: that man right there, Morgan while and winning Best Country Artist,
- 30:38Speaker 3: he did.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Best Country Artist Artists in a Year and also Album
- 30:42Speaker 2: Album with rightfully, so he deserved it.
- 30:45Speaker 1: He does deserve it. So we talked about this earlier.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Just wild to me, how much streaming services have increased,
- 30:51Speaker 2: and we've got so many of them.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yes, like I know, Megan, you are a Netflix subscriber,
- 30:55Speaker 1: Yes I am. I am as well, John you are not. No,
- 30:58Speaker 1: but now so they raise their rates. I want up.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Two dollars per month on the ad supported tier will
- 31:04Speaker 2: now go to eight ninety nine a month, and then
- 31:07Speaker 2: two dollars more on the standard plan to nineteen ninety
- 31:10Speaker 2: nine a month, and the Premium plan now going to
- 31:12Speaker 2: twenty six.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Ninety nine a month for one service.
- 31:17Speaker 2: It's wild, man, you forget them and you have and
- 31:21Speaker 2: I know so many people I'm guilty of it. You
- 31:23Speaker 2: do that whole free trial thing. Oh, also on to
- 31:26Speaker 2: beget a couple couple weeks free, you forget to cancel.
- 31:30Speaker 2: You're paying for somebody you don't even know you're paying for.
- 31:32Speaker 4: Right, that happened to us last night. We wanted to
- 31:34Speaker 4: watch a show and my boyfriend was like, oh man,
- 31:38Speaker 4: we can't watch it. It takes MGM plus. And I'm like,
- 31:40Speaker 4: oh no, don't worry about it. I still am subscribed.
- 31:42Speaker 4: We never watch it, but I never canceled the free trial.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So that's what happens.
- 31:48Speaker 2: And every certain and it seems now used to you know,
- 31:51Speaker 2: we were all cord cutting. We're not gonna pay for table,
- 31:53Speaker 2: We're gonna stream it. Right Well, now every network has
- 31:56Speaker 2: their own streaming service. So if you want something on NBC,
- 31:59Speaker 2: you gotta have the cocked streaming service. You want something
- 32:01Speaker 2: on CBS, you gotta tear amount. You want something on ABC,
- 32:05Speaker 2: They've got their streaming service. Everybody's got the wrong. Then
- 32:07Speaker 2: you got HBO Max, and you got Netflix, gotch and
- 32:11Speaker 2: you got Hulu.
- 32:11Speaker 4: You can only watch certain things if you pay for
- 32:13Speaker 4: their Hulu Live or if you pay for that higher subscription,
- 32:17Speaker 4: you can't even watch everything on that channel.
- 32:19Speaker 1: And for JOHNA Live. If you don't have ESPN, I mean,
- 32:21Speaker 1: do you even have TV?
- 32:22Speaker 3: Yeah, that's and that's what I liked about the fact
- 32:24Speaker 3: we say, can we get ala carte? Can we just
- 32:26Speaker 3: get what we want? And it's coming to some of that.
- 32:28Speaker 3: But now these things are not just becoming a network,
- 32:31Speaker 3: they're becoming network plus, like all the different shows and
- 32:34Speaker 3: all the different things. So it makes it tough. Man,
- 32:37Speaker 3: give me ESPN and I'm good, but I can't just
- 32:39Speaker 3: get ESPN. I gotta get the ESPN app now or
- 32:41Speaker 3: whatever for like twenty something dollars a month, and.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Now it is Hulu Wi ESPN. You get Disney as well.
- 32:46Speaker 3: But you know what, I got comcasts and so I
- 32:48Speaker 3: got all the espns.
- 32:49Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 32:50Speaker 3: It is why we're coming right back. You have come
- 32:52Speaker 3: back to the dang coord come back to the cord.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I think we're paying more over time. He had all
- 32:58Speaker 3: the streaming services together, no question. And then if you
- 33:00Speaker 3: pay for a music streaming service, uh huh. And then
- 33:03Speaker 3: you got other subscriptions where if you've got one of
- 33:05Speaker 3: those that we ought to do, what's that app? What's
- 33:07Speaker 3: the one that I've seen the app on commercials where
- 33:10Speaker 3: they're showing you what apps you have? Oh yeah, which
- 33:12Speaker 3: ones you're paying for that you don't even know? Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 3: you don't even know. And then you say, then you
- 33:15Speaker 3: can even cancel it if you want. We already just
- 33:17Speaker 3: get the app and see, we'd all be amazed what
- 33:20Speaker 3: we have. Every everything has a subscription.
- 33:23Speaker 2: So that's the new thing is subscription services, like you
- 33:26Speaker 2: know Microsoft Office subscription service.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Can we can we do a subscriptions Yeah, that'd be nice,
- 33:32Speaker 3: show subscription service.
- 33:35Speaker 4: We would never do that.
- 33:37Speaker 1: We know we're not worth it.
- 33:38Speaker 3: And so.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Things going on Jack's Friday.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Well, it's opening day for the Jumbo Shrimp and Scampy
- 33:52Speaker 4: will be there. If you're a mascot fan, then you
- 33:54Speaker 4: can go hang out with them. Tom I said, Hi,
- 33:58Speaker 4: you know.
- 33:58Speaker 3: You're coming around. Look at you mentioning.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Scam I know I'm trying to at least be nice,
- 34:02Speaker 4: you know to him.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Horse Camp.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Yeah, they're playing the Rochester Red Wings. Seven oh five
- 34:08Speaker 4: is when the game starts. Fireworks follow.
- 34:10Speaker 1: But this is Neat.
- 34:11Speaker 4: There's a street carnival happening at four pm, so that'd
- 34:14Speaker 4: be really cool. Take the family out too. If you're
- 34:17Speaker 4: a senior and you're already on your way to Jack's Beach,
- 34:20Speaker 4: you're skipping school for Senior Skip Day, just know you
- 34:23Speaker 4: will be punished with an unexcused absence. The flyers that
- 34:28Speaker 4: have been Here's.
- 34:30Speaker 3: How old I am. Now Here's when she said if
- 34:32Speaker 3: you're a senior. I thought, oh, I'm a senior. Count
- 34:36Speaker 3: yeah diddies, high school senior.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that wasn't me. For the last forty years.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Southern Living has named Saint Augustine as the number one
- 34:47Speaker 4: small beach town in the South, which is amazing and
- 34:50Speaker 4: I love that rightfully so. But I'm a little salty
- 34:53Speaker 4: because Fernandina Beach was twentieth on the list, and I
- 34:56Speaker 4: think that should have been number two. Try to say,
- 34:59Speaker 4: that's certain things you need to know.
- 35:00Speaker 1: You get another check on your Jack's traffic for your
- 35:02Speaker 1: Friday riding, and what's it look like, John.
- 35:04Speaker 3: LANs you have. But McDonald's is celebrating a grand opening.
- 35:07Speaker 3: We're going to be out there tomorrow. We as the
- 35:10Speaker 3: WQIK radio station. Yep, we'll be there from eleven till
- 35:13Speaker 3: noon tomorrow. It's a grand opening of a McDonald's on
- 35:16Speaker 3: Racetrack Road, forty five sixty Racetrack Road. I think that's
- 35:19Speaker 3: like a new little development, isn't it.
- 35:21Speaker 1: But did I hear you say something about free McDonald's
- 35:25Speaker 1: for a lifetime.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, we're going to be there from eleven to noon.
- 35:28Speaker 3: I don't know how early you got to be there
- 35:29Speaker 3: for this, but the owner operator of the McDonald's is
- 35:32Speaker 3: giving the first one hundred people in line free McDonald's
- 35:35Speaker 3: for a year.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Okay, so we need to push people out of the
- 35:38Speaker 4: way and make sure we secure our spot.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Correct pile the truck through there.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Is that what we're trying to do? Yeah, just slowly
- 35:43Speaker 3: McDonald's for a year. Pretty cool. You many mcflori's I
- 35:46Speaker 3: can eat in a year?
- 35:47Speaker 4: Oh yeah? The Big Show extra sponsored by Farah and Farah.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Here for You, Here for Good.
