- 0:26Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable. Take a big,
- 0:33deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently
- 0:39breathe out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in
- 0:48and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. One
- 0:57last time, deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe
- 1:05out through your mouth. Feel a gentle rhythm of your breath.
- 1:15Take a moment to.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Listen to your heartbeat.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Feel a gentle rise and fall of your chest as
- 1:23it moves in time with your heartbeat. And each time
- 1:27it does this, you feel more and more relaxed, more
- 1:32and more calm, more and more peaceful. Every time you
- 1:40breathe in, you're breathing in deep relaxation, and it feels
- 1:47so wonderful and so peaceful. Now tense up your whole
- 1:55body really tightly and hold it for just a few seconds.
- 2:00Hold it tightly, and now let it go. Feel your
- 2:06legs comeing limp and soft as your muscles relax. Feel
- 2:11your whole body softening as you gently relax. So one
- 2:17more time, tighten up all of your muscles and your
- 2:20body really tightly. Pail your hands into fists and hold
- 2:25it for just a few seconds. Hold it and now
- 2:30let it go. That's really good, well done. Now imagine
- 2:38that you have roots growing out from the soles of
- 2:40your feet, roots that just look like the roots of
- 2:45a tree, all long, wobbly and nubbly. And you can
- 2:51hear your roots growing through the ground. You can hear
- 2:56them as they push their way through the soil and
- 2:59it a little bit. Really feel the soil under your feet,
- 3:06can you feel it? This is called grounding, and this
- 3:12keeps your energy planted in the ground so that you
- 3:15too can grow big and strong, just like the trees.
- 3:22Now see yourself surrounded by a beautiful white light that
- 3:28sparkles and shines, making you feel so safe and so
- 3:33protected because you are this beautiful shining light, and you
- 3:41feel so relaxed now that your whole body is still
- 3:47so very still and so very peaceful. Now I'm going
- 3:55to tell you a short little story about Doris, the
- 3:59little pink piglet.
- 4:02Speaker 2: She was a very brave and happy little piglet.
- 4:05Speaker 1: And she absolutely loved everyone everyone she met, and she
- 4:10wanted everyone to be her friend. Doris was a cute
- 4:16and cuddly little pink piglet.
- 4:18Speaker 2: She had a.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Pink curly tail, a pink nose and pink ears that
- 4:23would wiggle whenever she was happy. She loved rolling around
- 4:30in the mud and squealed with joy whenever she found
- 4:33a nice warm spot to snuggle in, even if she
- 4:36did get a bit muddy. Doris lived on a farm.
- 4:41She was a very curious and adventurous little piglet. She
- 4:45was always looking for new experiences and new friends. Doris
- 4:50was always hungry, too, and would oink loudly whenever she
- 4:53wanted attention or food. She had a habit of eating
- 4:59every thinking sight, including her owner's flower beds, But despite this,
- 5:05her owner loved her dearly and always made sure she
- 5:09was well fed. Doris's favorite pastime was playing in the fields,
- 5:16chasing after butterflies and snuffling the truffles. She loved to
- 5:20run around, grunting with excitement and oinking happily whenever she
- 5:24found something interesting, and she nearly always did. But at
- 5:28the end of the day, Doris would always come back
- 5:32to her owner for a snuggle, closing her eyes contentedly
- 5:37as she drifted off to sleep. One day, while exploring
- 5:42the farm, she encountered a group of ducklings playing near
- 5:47the pond and They were laughing and having fun splashing
- 5:51about in that pond, and Doris really wanted to join them.
- 5:55She wanted to play with them and have fun too,
- 5:58But the duckling didn't want to play with her because
- 6:02she was different. They said that pigs were not supposed
- 6:06to play with ducks because they were different. This made
- 6:11Doris feel sad and alone, but she didn't give up.
- 6:17She decided to learn how to swim and fly like
- 6:21a duck so that she could play with them.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Oh my, oh my word, that's a tall order.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So Doris practiced every day and soon became good at
- 6:35swimming and jumping. She even learned how to fly a
- 6:39little bit with the help of some friendly sparrows. Imagine
- 6:43that of flying piglet.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Finally, the day came when she was ready to show
- 6:52her new skills to the ducklings. She jumped into the
- 6:56pond and swam towards them, making big splashes and quackingly
- 7:00a duck. The ducklings were amazed and very impressed with
- 7:05how far Doris had come. They saw how determined and
- 7:09brave Doris was, so they welcomed her into their little group.
- 7:16Doris realized that she had many new friends and was
- 7:20looking forward to all the adventures they would have together.
- 7:24And she realized that being different was not a bad thing,
- 7:28but rather something to be proud of. And she learned
- 7:33that with determination and hard work, you can achieve anything
- 7:38you set your mind to be, anything you want to be.
- 7:44Doris also realized that it doesn't matter if we are
- 7:48all different from one or another. It only matters that
- 7:51we are kind to each other and that we help
- 7:55each other whenever our help is needed, and Doris found
- 8:00that she would always help every one, no matter how
- 8:03different they were from her. Doris lived happily on the fall,
- 8:10still enduring her favorite pastimes of rolling in the mud
- 8:14and snuffling for truffles, and most of all, playing with
- 8:17her new friends, the ducklings. And from that day on,
- 8:22Doris knew no matter where life took her, she would
- 8:28always have a warm place to call home and lots
- 8:32of wonderful friends. But now it's time for you to
- 8:37snuggle down and get some sleep. And you think to yourself,
- 8:42what a wonderful little pig like Doris's. And you say
- 8:45to yourself that you would like.
- 8:48Speaker 2: To be just like hair. So as you lie in
- 8:54your nice, warm bed.
- 8:56Speaker 1: You feel a gentle wave of sleepiness start at your
- 9:00feet and you can feel your toes going to sleep.
- 9:04It feels all warm and tingling and ever so soft.
- 9:10You feel this soothing, gentle wave of sleepiness coming up
- 9:14your calves and your shins, and you can feel it
- 9:18going up your size and you think to yourself, oh,
- 9:22my legs have gone to sleep, Yes they have. But
- 9:27you feel very tired now, so sleepy, but so happy.
- 9:34And this beautiful wave of sleepiness travels all the way
- 9:38up your body and down your arms and into your hands,
- 9:44making your body feel very very heavy, very very tired,
- 9:52and very very sleepy. And this gentle, warm way of
- 10:00sleepiness travels up your face and over the top of
- 10:05your head, down the back of your neck, and you
- 10:10feel so tired, so sleepy. Now you feel so very
- 10:18peaceful now and so very relaxed, so.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Relaxed, very very
- 10:27Speaker 1: Sleepy, So for now, night Night,
