- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hello everyone, and welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today
- 0:09Speaker 2: Ben and I will be recapping episode two of Joey's season. Ben,
- 0:14Speaker 2: how did you like this episode?
- 0:15Speaker 3: I have a lot of questions for you, Ashley. I
- 0:17Speaker 3: don't think you're gonna.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Like, why does it have to do with Sydney?
- 0:20Speaker 3: Well, there's gonna be so many questions. We're not gonna
- 0:23Speaker 3: like why what did I think of this episode? I
- 0:27Speaker 3: will tell you as we go through the episode. Overall, like,
- 0:32Speaker 3: just my overall feeling is like it was a good
- 0:34Speaker 3: Bachelor episode. I do have some moments where I was
- 0:38Speaker 3: like I could fast forward this and not miss a beat.
- 0:41Speaker 3: But overall, good Bachelor episode, good start to the season.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Let's start, Ashley with the first group date. I think
- 0:49Speaker 3: that's really the first moment that the show really starts
- 0:53Speaker 3: to pick up. It's my first kind of comment here
- 0:58Speaker 3: is you know what it is. It's a way date
- 1:00Speaker 3: and it's the.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Wedding date, which they insist on. Okay, guess they love it.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Guess it's going to happen every season.
- 1:06Speaker 3: They must be getting good feedback, right because they do
- 1:09Speaker 3: like period. They get these good.
- 1:12Speaker 4: I think they get good emotion from the girls.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Okay, I mean sure, I can see that obviously it
- 1:18Speaker 3: happened here. Well, the big storylines during this day it
- 1:22Speaker 3: is a group date. We are one, you know, week
- 1:26Speaker 3: into the show. I can claim I know more girls
- 1:30Speaker 3: by name during this season so far than I really
- 1:33Speaker 3: have probably in well since you know, since yes is
- 1:39Speaker 3: my season. So I do think I'm getting more. Say
- 1:43Speaker 3: why is that?
- 1:44Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I feel like I'm getting to know them quickly. I
- 1:49Speaker 2: don't know, there's like just unique faces or what. But
- 1:53Speaker 2: I think I know of their remaining twenty two, I
- 1:57Speaker 2: might know all their names. Or there's twenty two that
- 1:59Speaker 2: start out this episode, and then there's even less at
- 2:01Speaker 2: the end of the episode, and I think I might
- 2:02Speaker 2: know everybody's name that remains.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Now, goodness great, Well that's impressive. I can't claim that.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Well, you know, it is our job to a certain point,
- 2:09Speaker 2: so I try try to keep track.
- 2:11Speaker 3: You're professional, I'm not. But I do think also the
- 2:15Speaker 3: lack of drama on night one really helped that because
- 2:19Speaker 3: we did get to get to know some of the women.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I also believe a lot of these women do have
- 2:23Speaker 3: unique stories and so those unique stories help us kind
- 2:26Speaker 3: of help them stand out or at least make those connections.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I think that's helped. But this group date is as
- 2:34Speaker 3: as we said, a wedding dress date. They are all
- 2:37Speaker 3: getting married. Instead of like weird individual pictures in front
- 2:40Speaker 3: of all the girls, now they're just all getting married
- 2:42Speaker 3: at this wedding. There seems to be some you know,
- 2:45Speaker 3: strangers that are invited in. The interesting point to the
- 2:51Speaker 3: start of this date is as they're all in the
- 2:54Speaker 3: van talking, they're kind of sharing about what their wedding
- 2:58Speaker 3: day would look like. And it brings up specific emotions
- 3:01Speaker 3: for Lauren because Lauren mentions that her and Allison's dad
- 3:04Speaker 3: had recently passed.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Away and seven months ago.
- 3:07Speaker 3: And I would like, this was what could I say?
- 3:12Speaker 4: Like?
- 3:12Speaker 3: That really got me. I don't know if it's just
- 3:14Speaker 3: you know, anytime there's it during this show or in life,
- 3:17Speaker 3: when somebody talks about their their family members passing, it
- 3:21Speaker 3: just really makes me go internal or at least me
- 3:25Speaker 3: feel for them. This moment really did make me feel
- 3:28Speaker 3: for them. For her, and I get what she was saying.
- 3:30Speaker 3: She's like, well, when I picture my wedding day, it's
- 3:32Speaker 3: not going to look like what I thought it was.
- 3:35Speaker 4: H Yeah, it's super sad. And then I like go
- 3:39Speaker 4: into the whole like my parents were getting older, Holy
- 3:42Speaker 4: grow up, you know, so I definitely get into that.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And then we see in this group day had so
- 3:51Speaker 2: many elements to it, and it had a lot of
- 3:54Speaker 2: the girls stand out in different ways, like oh my gosh,
- 4:00Speaker 2: Evelyn jumping over the table when she he's stuck with
- 4:07Speaker 2: Like Evelyn jumping over the table. That was a statement
- 4:11Speaker 2: moment during the musical chairs, which love musical chairs moment.
- 4:14Speaker 2: We should totally bring this back more a like adult parties. Yes, yeah,
- 4:20Speaker 2: and then let's see I saw a lot of chemistry
- 4:25Speaker 2: between him and Rachel when they had that dance, when
- 4:28Speaker 2: he picked her for the dance, and I didn't expect
- 4:31Speaker 2: to see that, and it was it was there. Him
- 4:34Speaker 2: and Jess continue to be pretty cute together. The cupcake,
- 4:37Speaker 2: the whole left handed thing, anything else.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I don't think that. I mean, I don't think they
- 4:42Speaker 3: have any chemistry quite honestly.
- 4:45Speaker 4: And Jess.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think him and Jess have any chemistry.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Yeah, but I think he likes I like think he
- 4:50Speaker 4: likes her as a person.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Sure, that's great. There's not like good he gave her
- 4:54Speaker 3: the rose though at the group date. Yeah, I have
- 4:56Speaker 3: I have a feeling that Jess's confidence is going to
- 5:01Speaker 3: be inflated into the moment it's not okay. You know
- 5:05Speaker 3: those storylines from the show where we have that person
- 5:10Speaker 3: who's like way overly excited about you know this, way
- 5:14Speaker 3: too early on, and they like it becomes way too
- 5:18Speaker 3: much for them very quickly. I think that's what we're
- 5:22Speaker 3: gonna see with Jess. I think she's a sweet person,
- 5:25Speaker 3: but like, I just don't. I think her takes in
- 5:28Speaker 3: interviews have been way overly excited about stuff that doesn't
- 5:32Speaker 3: really exist yet.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Okay, I can't understand. I get you get behind that.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Is there anything else from the wedding portion besides Michael
- 5:40Speaker 2: Bolton that really stands out to you?
- 5:42Speaker 4: He's awesome?
- 5:45Speaker 3: Was he? I feel like Michael Bolton's been around the
- 5:47Speaker 3: Bachelor here recently.
- 5:49Speaker 4: He may have been, but I don't think recently. I
- 5:51Speaker 4: love a Michael Bolton moment.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I mean, it's it's great. I want to know how
- 5:54Speaker 3: they get Michael Bolton to come on. These films are
- 5:57Speaker 3: too young to appreciate though, well, they're all singing they're
- 6:00Speaker 3: all dancing, but they I don't know if they fully
- 6:02Speaker 3: appreciate it. I want to know too, what does that
- 6:05Speaker 3: call look like? I mean, Michael Bolton is a huge
- 6:07Speaker 3: star to be like, what's he doing with his time
- 6:11Speaker 3: now that he's like, yeah, I'll go sing for forty
- 6:13Speaker 3: people at a bachelor show. I mean, it is good exposure.
- 6:16Speaker 3: It must have worked out. It must work out for him.
- 6:18Speaker 4: But I actually think he's sick. I think he has cancer.
- 6:23Speaker 3: He still has a great voice, he's really good. But
- 6:27Speaker 3: the wedding portion of this, it was exactly what you said,
- 6:32Speaker 3: Rachel and him f chemistry. It did bring out emotions.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I do think Lauren in this not talking to him
- 6:39Speaker 3: and not feeling like she is ready to talk to
- 6:41Speaker 3: him is something important. I also want to point out, though,
- 6:47Speaker 3: because this episode kind of goes in a weird direction
- 6:50Speaker 3: after a while, I was very intrigued, not impressed, but intrigued,
- 6:56Speaker 3: and then also like grateful for Maria's care of Lauren
- 7:03Speaker 3: in these moments. She felt like she really didn't want
- 7:05Speaker 3: to care for her well, and her advice was good.
- 7:09Speaker 3: It felt like she was trying to like be that
- 7:13Speaker 3: rock for Lauren, and I think That's an important note
- 7:16Speaker 3: for us, especially as this episode goes on about Maria's character.
- 7:21Speaker 2: So so yeah, so I am invested in the Maria
- 7:26Speaker 2: storyline as I am friends with Sidney and I did
- 7:30Speaker 2: help her get on the show. And Maria is, as
- 7:34Speaker 2: you see a little teaser in this episode, not she
- 7:38Speaker 2: They're not each other's biggest fans.
- 7:40Speaker 4: So I watched Maria very carefully.
- 7:42Speaker 2: To give sid lots of my thoughts, and I did
- 7:45Speaker 2: think that she had good moments with Lauren on this
- 7:49Speaker 2: on the actual wedding portion of the date.
- 7:52Speaker 4: What did you think.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Though, when she decided to slip into something more comfortable.
- 7:59Speaker 3: I thought it was good. I mean, why not? Why not? Like,
- 8:03Speaker 3: what's the problem?
- 8:04Speaker 2: It wasn't like the first outfit was truly, in my opinion, sexier.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Okay, that could be. I think it was the it
- 8:13Speaker 3: was it was the art of seduction in the sense
- 8:16Speaker 3: that I'm going to change into something else for you specifically,
- 8:19Speaker 3: Do I think it was a move that uh, it's
- 8:25Speaker 3: not a move some would make, I guess. But what
- 8:28Speaker 3: it does do is it makes her stand out, and
- 8:30Speaker 3: it did make I think, Joey say, this girl is
- 8:32Speaker 3: trying to get my attention. It was not and it
- 8:37Speaker 3: was not overly like.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Not overly seductive. It wasn't like.
- 8:41Speaker 3: No, it was like where it was like weird to
- 8:43Speaker 3: see on TV. It was like, Okay, you're trying, You're
- 8:48Speaker 3: doing something different. It felt like a moment that he
- 8:53Speaker 3: will remember.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Uh.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I think he's like.
- 8:57Speaker 2: It was a move for him, not for the girls.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You know that the girls didn't appreciate that. They thought
- 9:02Speaker 2: it was super weird and like that to them would
- 9:05Speaker 2: have been moment number one. Okay, I'm watching out for
- 9:10Speaker 2: this girl. She's not here for she's not here to
- 9:14Speaker 2: make friends.
- 9:16Speaker 3: No, but this didn't feel like any This isn't as
- 9:18Speaker 3: bad as I think stealing somebody when you have already
- 9:22Speaker 3: talked to him once like this was her moment with him.
- 9:26Speaker 3: She isn't there to like make these girls be her
- 9:29Speaker 3: best friend. But if they want to be her friend,
- 9:32Speaker 3: they can get to know her a little bit. And
- 9:33Speaker 3: they're like, Okay, well, Maria is willing to do this
- 9:35Speaker 3: to get his attention. This is who Maria is. Does
- 9:38Speaker 3: it make me hater? Did she do this to make
- 9:40Speaker 3: me look bad?
- 9:40Speaker 2: No?
- 9:41Speaker 3: Did she say something to make me look bad?
- 9:42Speaker 2: No?
- 9:43Speaker 3: She just did this to get his attention, and as
- 9:45Speaker 3: a result, I'm like, I don't see a lot of
- 9:48Speaker 3: problem with it.
- 9:49Speaker 4: It's not is there. It's quite harmless. It really is
- 9:53Speaker 4: it quite harmless.
- 9:56Speaker 3: We've seen worse. I guess I could.
- 9:57Speaker 4: We sure have.
- 9:58Speaker 2: And let me just say, Michael Bolton he had a
- 10:01Speaker 2: brain tumor and he had to go undergo surgery a
- 10:04Speaker 2: couple couple like a month ago. So I wasn't I
- 10:07Speaker 2: wasn't off on that, but he seems to be doing fine. Okay,
- 10:11Speaker 2: moving on, we wait, let's talk about a couple of
- 10:14Speaker 2: the other moments on the group date we had. Jess
- 10:17Speaker 2: talks about her like past relationship and like infidelity and
- 10:21Speaker 2: how she's super insecure about things, and the girls are
- 10:26Speaker 2: just super impressed by how like Joey listens. They're just like, wait,
- 10:30Speaker 2: you listen and you like like listening to me, like
- 10:34Speaker 2: talk about my feelings.
- 10:35Speaker 4: This is so special.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I will say this. You know, we've seen it in
- 10:40Speaker 3: the past with bachelor's where they are not good at
- 10:44Speaker 3: listening or good at kind of reciprocating feelings or emotions
- 10:50Speaker 3: or reciprocating response to story human story.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Right, he is very warm.
- 10:55Speaker 3: He's warm and he has he does seem to like
- 10:59Speaker 3: have He's in tune with what they're saying. He's responding
- 11:03Speaker 3: to what they're saying, and he's not just making out
- 11:05Speaker 3: with him, which is a big deal as the lead
- 11:10Speaker 3: of a show is how you sit in these moments,
- 11:12Speaker 3: and right now he's sitting in these moments fantastically. Not
- 11:15Speaker 3: because he is putting on a good face. I just
- 11:17Speaker 3: think that's who he is.
- 11:18Speaker 4: He's very comforting.
- 11:20Speaker 3: He is. He was that in person too when we
- 11:22Speaker 3: were on the golf course. He's a good listener.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Oh that's so sweet.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I don't mean to like make it to me that
- 11:29Speaker 2: should be something that we should be shocked by and
- 11:31Speaker 2: a man though, But he does do a great job.
- 11:45Speaker 4: All right. So let's move on to the one on
- 11:47Speaker 4: one date, which is with Daisy.
- 11:50Speaker 2: And I'm actually shocked that Daisy got the one on
- 11:54Speaker 2: one right off the bat, because she was what we
- 11:57Speaker 2: said last week to be such a focal point and
- 12:00Speaker 2: episode number one that I was like, oh, wow, we're
- 12:03Speaker 2: not even going to have like a little break to
- 12:04Speaker 2: drag on like her star.
- 12:07Speaker 4: But we don't. And I guess a lot of.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Them may have to do with the fact that she
- 12:12Speaker 2: was going to have to tell him about the cochlear
- 12:14Speaker 2: implant pretty early on, just because the way that she
- 12:19Speaker 2: can get overwhelmed in the environment with the girls, like
- 12:22Speaker 2: with the hearing and.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Who knows do you do?
- 12:28Speaker 2: We often see for the person that is like the
- 12:30Speaker 2: star on night one, get the one on one.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I think it's all about what Joey wants there quite on.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It, but we know that this is but you've come on,
- 12:40Speaker 2: We'll tell us how it goes.
- 12:42Speaker 3: I mean, there's definitely going to be like a multiple voices,
- 12:46Speaker 3: but he will have full right to say no, I
- 12:49Speaker 3: want to bring her on the first one on one
- 12:52Speaker 3: date and people will be like, yeah, but that you know,
- 12:54Speaker 3: maybe you want to save it for a different date.
- 12:56Speaker 4: That's what I mean, like save that. I thought, maybe
- 12:58Speaker 4: save that.
- 12:58Speaker 3: He could say no, I want to bring her and
- 13:00Speaker 3: they would say, okay, then you're bringing her now. I mean,
- 13:02Speaker 3: I think it would get when when maybe when anybody
- 13:05Speaker 3: would put their foot down would be if he was like,
- 13:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna bring Daisy on the date this week and
- 13:09Speaker 3: next week and the week after that, somebody'd be like, yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 3: you can't do that, like that's.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Not oh well yeah of course, Okay, Well then maybe
- 13:17Speaker 2: it was intentional on just you know, the other voices side,
- 13:22Speaker 2: because they were going to a concert and they were
- 13:25Speaker 2: going to an event, and I thought, almost at first,
- 13:28Speaker 2: I'm like, wait, this is rude. They're putting her in
- 13:31Speaker 2: a place where she's gonna have some hearing issues and
- 13:34Speaker 2: she's going to have to keep saying like what and
- 13:36Speaker 2: she may not be like fully in tune with what
- 13:39Speaker 2: he's saying.
- 13:40Speaker 4: But you didn't pick up on that.
- 13:42Speaker 3: I don't think it was I don't think there was
- 13:44Speaker 3: any malice in it. I think it was Joey saying, Hey,
- 13:48Speaker 3: I like this girl. She stood out to me.
- 13:54Speaker 4: She said she likes she went on a concert, like,
- 13:56Speaker 4: she said she.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Liked music, and I'm going to this concert. That would
- 14:01Speaker 3: be fun, and yeah, like I just want to get
- 14:06Speaker 3: to know her. I don't think he had any idea
- 14:08Speaker 3: about her cochlear implants or her hear it now. I
- 14:13Speaker 3: really think he said, hey, I want to take her
- 14:15Speaker 3: on a date as soon as possible, and the show said,
- 14:17Speaker 3: well why not this week? And he said that would
- 14:18Speaker 3: be great. I want to do that. I mean, quite honestly, Ashley,
- 14:25Speaker 3: it's good that they did go on this date and
- 14:27Speaker 3: I'm sure the show did want a date for them
- 14:31Speaker 3: to happen early so that this could be talked about
- 14:34Speaker 3: between them, so that she.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Would more comfortable in the moments that she may not
- 14:39Speaker 2: be comfortable.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I will say, Daisy to me right now, I watch
- 14:45Speaker 3: this date and actually would say this about Joey and Daisy.
- 14:49Speaker 3: And I don't think we've had this in a while.
- 14:50Speaker 3: I think the leads, we could say the leads have
- 14:52Speaker 3: had this, and that's just a thing that happens when
- 14:55Speaker 3: you're a lead. You're one of few, so people remember
- 14:57Speaker 3: you and they could probably pull your name back or
- 15:00Speaker 3: your name would be recognizable for a period of time.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I don't think we've had a contestant be as memorable
- 15:07Speaker 3: as what I think Daisy's gonna be, not because of
- 15:10Speaker 3: her complications with hearing loss, but just because of who
- 15:14Speaker 3: she is, Like she is made for the show. And
- 15:17Speaker 3: I say that because there's a scene of her journaling
- 15:20Speaker 3: like in a like in a little like daybed by herself.
- 15:24Speaker 3: She's very sweet, she's funny, she's in tune, she has
- 15:28Speaker 3: like this charisma, a beauty about her, and she has
- 15:31Speaker 3: this story. I think Daisy will be one of those
- 15:33Speaker 3: like legendary Bachelor people that we talk about for years
- 15:37Speaker 3: to come, and I haven't said that in year. I mean,
- 15:40Speaker 3: I can't even I totally understand.
- 15:43Speaker 4: I totally understand what you're saying.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I do think she's gonna be the next Bachelorette or
- 15:47Speaker 3: the person at the end, So I do think that's
- 15:49Speaker 3: gonna help her. But she's gonna be memorable, and I
- 15:55Speaker 3: think it's gonna be really good for Bachelor Nation because
- 15:58Speaker 3: she's I think she's great, and I think she's only
- 16:00Speaker 3: going to get more great as time goes on.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 16:05Speaker 2: There sit down was very compelling. I was when she
- 16:10Speaker 2: was telling her story, I was like, what is it?
- 16:12Speaker 4: Like, what what what happened?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Like?
- 16:14Speaker 4: Why were you getting sick?
- 16:15Speaker 2: And we find out that it was lime disease and
- 16:17Speaker 2: then she talks about how she went to Germany to
- 16:20Speaker 2: get treatment. And now I want to know more about
- 16:22Speaker 2: this treatment because she's come back and for two years
- 16:25Speaker 2: she's been feeling great.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I will say this lime disease is of the devil. Yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 3: I mean, it's what you know my buddy had at
- 16:34Speaker 3: the start of als, It's what people you know, Kelly
- 16:38Speaker 3: Flanagan had, It's what people you know, it's right, Ryan
- 16:41Speaker 3: Setter has. It's what many people in Colorado have because
- 16:45Speaker 3: they hike so much lime disease. And I was like,
- 16:48Speaker 3: I wrote this down while I was watching the show.
- 16:50Speaker 3: I was like, how does the almost famous podcast push
- 16:53Speaker 3: the medical world to research line disease more? Because it's
- 16:58Speaker 3: becoming so a massive concern of me. It's it's one
- 17:02Speaker 3: of the top three most diagnosed infectious diseases in the
- 17:08Speaker 3: world in the US right now, and so lime disease
- 17:11Speaker 3: is very dangerous. If you have it, I feel for you.
- 17:13Speaker 3: It sucks, uh, and it is not it's not okay
- 17:17Speaker 3: that there's not good answers. I know it probably makes
- 17:20Speaker 3: you feel very alone. But it's wild to me that
- 17:25Speaker 3: she had lime disease and all this came from that,
- 17:30Speaker 3: and that we're still sitting here today. And if you
- 17:32Speaker 3: got diagnosed with lime disease actually tomorrow, for whatever reason,
- 17:36Speaker 3: you would go to the doctor and they'd say, yeah,
- 17:37Speaker 3: we don't really know what to do. Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 17:40Speaker 3: like are bad. It's it's wild to me that that's
- 17:43Speaker 3: still the case. And so yeah, just it's that's a
- 17:47Speaker 3: platform that if anybody's listening and they're like, hey, I
- 17:50Speaker 3: want to really do something good. Well, then let's go
- 17:53Speaker 3: out and figure out how we can stop blind disease.
- 17:57Speaker 3: But good, I mean, but again, like you said of
- 18:00Speaker 3: very compelling date for Daisy and Joey, I think this
- 18:04Speaker 3: date is the start of again something magical between them.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Yeah. He has stars on his eyes, like yeah, yes,
- 18:12Speaker 4: yes he does.
- 18:13Speaker 3: He's almost like nervous, like not nervous and like I
- 18:15Speaker 3: can't talk kind of way, but just like he's just
- 18:17Speaker 3: kind of sitting there and.
- 18:19Speaker 2: He's intimidated by her, and it's like really fun and romantic.
- 18:23Speaker 3: It's good to be intimidated by your you know, by
- 18:25Speaker 3: your love interest. It's where you look at him and
- 18:27Speaker 3: you go like, I don't know how I got you.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I don't know how you're sitting here with me. That's
- 18:30Speaker 3: a good thing. So the date itself for me, Ashley,
- 18:39Speaker 3: there's just no way that Daisy isn't around for the
- 18:41Speaker 3: rest of our television screens.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Like, there's just no way she slid into the top
- 18:46Speaker 2: three just right there, Top two, okay, top ten.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Like there's I would bet money on the top two
- 18:52Speaker 3: that Daisy is there at the end somehow, some way,
- 18:56Speaker 3: and that if she isn't with Joey at the end
- 18:58Speaker 3: of this, which I don't for see at this point.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Then she is the next lead of the show and
- 19:04Speaker 3: it's going to be great and the Bachelor so happy
- 19:06Speaker 3: because back to back successful seasons. I don't know, but
- 19:10Speaker 3: it was a big deal. The next group date, Ashley
- 19:13Speaker 3: was shocking to me. This was one that, uh, it
- 19:16Speaker 3: was the worst. I don't know if it was the
- 19:19Speaker 3: worse it was Jubilee was there. Jubilee was on my life.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I hadn't heard.
- 19:24Speaker 2: He hasn't been around for a while. They pulled her
- 19:26Speaker 2: out because they obviously wanted to honor an actual veteran
- 19:29Speaker 2: during their award ed She's fantastic.
- 19:31Speaker 4: I mean, she's such a kick ass girl.
- 19:34Speaker 3: But like Demi and Jubilee and granted, great to see
- 19:38Speaker 3: it very random, like completely random.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Right, yeah, who knows, who knows, especially why they picked Demi.
- 19:46Speaker 4: But we like them both and we're glad that they're
- 19:48Speaker 4: they're there, that.
- 19:49Speaker 3: They're what meeting was happening. When they're like, get rid
- 19:51Speaker 3: of a group date, we need to, like, we want
- 19:54Speaker 3: to bring two Bachelor people back in to do it,
- 19:55Speaker 3: and they're like, who could be Demi and Jubilee, Like
- 19:59Speaker 3: what what a combination? First of all, and then I
- 20:02Speaker 3: had the same reaction. Do you think Bachelor Nation did.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Like maybe not as much because they'd probably like, it's
- 20:09Speaker 2: just the two of them aren't as like personal to them.
- 20:12Speaker 4: But I think that it's what school said.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Jubilee was on your season, and she was on two
- 20:17Speaker 2: seasons of Paradise but never lasted in Paradise long. And
- 20:20Speaker 2: she's still very memorable.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Oh she's great, like she is. Yeah, she always has
- 20:24Speaker 3: been great. And I was so happy to see her
- 20:26Speaker 3: on my television. I just think, yeah, that was not
- 20:29Speaker 3: on my bingo.
- 20:30Speaker 4: I was like, is this a warm up for her
- 20:31Speaker 4: to be able to go in Paradise again?
- 20:33Speaker 3: Like if that was if that was Draft Kings and
- 20:36Speaker 3: it was like chances to see Jubilee again on The Bachelor,
- 20:39Speaker 3: I would say, you know, it'd be plus one billion,
- 20:43Speaker 3: but I would have made a billion bucks. It was wild.
- 20:57Speaker 2: The date was like why are we doing here? Because
- 21:00Speaker 2: it had no substance. Again, you guys know, I hate
- 21:04Speaker 2: like action dates. This one particularly to me, it was
- 21:07Speaker 2: like I got nothing, knew nothing about these girls more
- 21:11Speaker 2: before it, I mean after it than before it.
- 21:14Speaker 4: And Weena is the only one that really stands out
- 21:17Speaker 4: during this because she's just so full throttle.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Well, she's the only one that got screen time. Like
- 21:23Speaker 3: we had like an action date and then we just
- 21:26Speaker 3: had one person spend time with Joey, which was good.
- 21:28Speaker 3: But then we don't it's like another one on one
- 21:30Speaker 3: it Yeah, it's like a one on one. So we
- 21:33Speaker 3: didn't have a cocktail party, we didn't have multiple conversations
- 21:36Speaker 3: going on. You know, they had their date. She was competitive.
- 21:41Speaker 3: She did deserve this. I mean, if you watch the
- 21:43Speaker 3: clips back, there wasn't a scene that she wasn't either
- 21:46Speaker 3: getting the the heart or falling down chasing after it.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I mean that she had to be sore, scraped up. Yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 3: she still cleaned up nice and looked beautiful and went
- 21:57Speaker 3: on this date. I do like her kind of when
- 22:00Speaker 3: she got asked to go on in the day, she's like,
- 22:01Speaker 3: I don't feel bad about this.
- 22:03Speaker 4: You know me too, that was fantastic.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Oh what do you guys want me to do?
- 22:07Speaker 2: But I.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Stay, I know it was so great.
- 22:11Speaker 4: They did the same thing on my season. We had
- 22:13Speaker 4: the tractor date.
- 22:13Speaker 2: We raced downtown LA and then there he was like,
- 22:16Speaker 2: I'm going to pick one person to do like a
- 22:19Speaker 2: basically a one on one with Yeah, I mean it's
- 22:22Speaker 2: kind of a weird choice for week one to like
- 22:24Speaker 2: eliminate so many girls from this you know, quality time
- 22:28Speaker 2: but whatever.
- 22:30Speaker 4: But but a duena.
- 22:33Speaker 2: She basically told him about how she grew up in
- 22:37Speaker 2: an immigrant family and just always had to be strong
- 22:39Speaker 2: and like, you know, not in charge of the household,
- 22:44Speaker 2: but like helping running the household and talking about emotions
- 22:48Speaker 2: was not a priority for them.
- 22:49Speaker 4: It was more of like put your head down, work.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Suck it up.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And he really appreciated her vulnerability. They had a nice date,
- 22:59Speaker 2: she got the rose, she got some kisses. Anything else
- 23:04Speaker 2: to say about that.
- 23:04Speaker 3: No, I mean I think it was a great date.
- 23:06Speaker 3: I think that the two of them, I think he
- 23:11Speaker 3: needed that kind of night too.
- 23:13Speaker 2: You know, I was going to say, Ben, because we
- 23:15Speaker 2: saw it was at the Less Lake in and how
- 23:18Speaker 2: much that's right down the street. Guys, how much do
- 23:21Speaker 2: you as a bachelor appreciate when you can just have
- 23:24Speaker 2: a nice night in your hotel room.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Well I always did when football was on, because I
- 23:28Speaker 3: get back and watch the second half of the late
- 23:29Speaker 3: night game. But I was thinking more, this was a
- 23:33Speaker 3: hard date. For a Duena, and the reason is because
- 23:35Speaker 3: she was following up on one on one with Daisy,
- 23:38Speaker 3: and I think Daisy's date was so present on his mind.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Probably the next day, he's probably so excited about Daisy
- 23:46Speaker 3: that whoever was going to go on that date was
- 23:49Speaker 3: going to have a hard time because ultimately, when you
- 23:52Speaker 3: are in the Bachelor Bachelor, you're comparing all the time
- 23:56Speaker 3: to see who you have a better connection with who
- 23:57Speaker 3: you don't. So I think for a Duena to come
- 23:59Speaker 3: out of this date with a rose with a kiss
- 24:02Speaker 3: is in a sense a win for her and for
- 24:05Speaker 3: Joey because he was probably like, I don't want to
- 24:09Speaker 3: go on any more dates ever again, like I'm good.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Is he gonna pull up Claire?
- 24:14Speaker 3: No, he's not, because I do think but the first
- 24:18Speaker 3: two weeks is it's really hard because you don't have anything.
- 24:21Speaker 3: You only have, you know, one date to compare everything
- 24:24Speaker 3: else to, and you don't have the forty dates that
- 24:27Speaker 3: you'll end up going on from the start to the
- 24:29Speaker 3: finish of this show, and so you're kind of like
- 24:32Speaker 3: locked in at this point. Over time, he'll start to
- 24:35Speaker 3: like less lock in on Daisy and start to have
- 24:38Speaker 3: more of a you know a sample size, but right now,
- 24:42Speaker 3: I think it was just gonna be a hard date.
- 24:43Speaker 3: And so I'm glad that she walked away with a rose.
- 24:46Speaker 3: She's here next week, they'll spend more time together. Now actulely,
- 24:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna lead this conversation into the cocktail party. So,
- 24:52Speaker 3: as you mentioned earlier friends with Sidney, I thought Maria
- 24:56Speaker 3: during this episode, Yes, we could pick out and pick
- 24:58Speaker 3: and choose things that were like, hey, that felt weird
- 25:01Speaker 3: or that felt awkward. I didn't really see anything. I
- 25:03Speaker 3: felt like Maria all together was very normal or very likable,
- 25:11Speaker 3: and very kind to the people around her, and very
- 25:14Speaker 3: considerate of the emotions that other people were experiencing. And
- 25:20Speaker 3: it felt weird to me that your friend Sidney decided
- 25:28Speaker 3: to go in this direction, because what I know from
- 25:31Speaker 3: Sydney right now, from seeing this show and from hearing
- 25:33Speaker 3: from you, she's a very sweet, very confident, she's a
- 25:35Speaker 3: business owner. She's really cool. It just doesn't like, even
- 25:40Speaker 3: when I'm watching this, and if I would never ever
- 25:41Speaker 3: have heard those things from you, I would have been like,
- 25:43Speaker 3: this doesn't feel like Sydney, Like this doesn't feel like
- 25:46Speaker 3: who she is. This is not a role she needs
- 25:48Speaker 3: to play. She needs to stay out of this. She's beautiful,
- 25:51Speaker 3: she is strong, she is confident. She is doing something
- 25:54Speaker 3: that she should not be doing. And I will go
- 25:59Speaker 3: this way, and I want to fight with me on
- 26:00Speaker 3: this again. I told you I was gonna put you
- 26:02Speaker 3: in a corner. Sidney was wrong, Like, not only should
- 26:05Speaker 3: she not be playing this role, she was wrong in
- 26:08Speaker 3: her take.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Oh so I don't think she was wrong in her take,
- 26:12Speaker 2: but I will say that she certainly didn't look cool,
- 26:16Speaker 2: which I always you know, I always think of her
- 26:18Speaker 2: as cool. And she called me on Friday, and they
- 26:21Speaker 2: tell you the producers call and they're like, kind of
- 26:23Speaker 2: give you a glimpse into what you should expect on
- 26:25Speaker 2: Monday's episode, especially if you're you have a big role
- 26:29Speaker 2: in the upcoming episode.
- 26:31Speaker 4: And she was in panic mode.
- 26:35Speaker 3: So I was.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Eager to go and watch the episode and try to
- 26:38Speaker 2: really look at it from a very objective.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Point of view.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And I was like, well, neither you or Maria look
- 26:47Speaker 2: like awful. And neither of you look awful. It's like,
- 26:49Speaker 2: no big deal. Your your fight just looks silly.
- 26:52Speaker 4: It's just like a dumb argument.
- 26:56Speaker 2: She I was like, it seems like you're getting into
- 26:58Speaker 2: somebody else's business. And then at the same time, I
- 27:03Speaker 2: do think Maria when she was talking to was it Lauren,
- 27:08Speaker 2: she was like, she's just complaining about being too old.
- 27:11Speaker 2: It's like I'm old too. She did seem a little
- 27:14Speaker 2: condescending about this, the conversation that Medina had about age,
- 27:19Speaker 2: But overall, I just think it was like a really
- 27:20Speaker 2: silly argument. I don't know how much I'm allowed to say,
- 27:23Speaker 2: but I guess I can say this. There was a
- 27:27Speaker 2: lot leading up to that that made Sidney annoyed, and
- 27:32Speaker 2: what was aired about the whole age conversation is absolutely
- 27:37Speaker 2: not what she has been annoyed with Maria.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Over well, that doesn't matter to me because I don't
- 27:43Speaker 3: know what that is. I'm just a fan of this show,
- 27:45Speaker 3: and I will say I will still stay firm that
- 27:48Speaker 3: she was wrong because I want to see anybody else.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Why did you think that she was wrong? Because, like
- 27:52Speaker 2: I understand that she was being a little condescending when
- 27:54Speaker 2: she did that. I don't think she had to go
- 27:56Speaker 2: I don't think Sidney had to go over to Medina
- 27:58Speaker 2: and be like, hey, just letting I know people are
- 28:00Speaker 2: talking shit about you, because it wasn't really like so
- 28:03Speaker 2: much talking shit. It was so everything was just like
- 28:05Speaker 2: so mild. It nothing should have been really, nothing should
- 28:11Speaker 2: have come of that conversation.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Okay, you want to hear why I think she's wrong. Yeah,
- 28:16Speaker 3: well you just explained the first reason she shouldn't have
- 28:18Speaker 3: done it because it was very mild and it felt
- 28:21Speaker 3: that she did it. So in that sense, I think
- 28:24Speaker 3: she was wrong. The second one is typically in these arguments,
- 28:27Speaker 3: I because there always is other things. I look for
- 28:31Speaker 3: the reaction of others in the house. So who else is? Like,
- 28:36Speaker 3: who is else is fighting this battle? Right? Who else is?
- 28:39Speaker 3: Remember a couple of years ago, we had Victoria, who
- 28:42Speaker 3: was you know, Queen Victoria, and everybody in the house
- 28:44Speaker 3: was like, we got to get rid of Queen Victoria.
- 28:46Speaker 3: She is causing so many issues in this house. In
- 28:49Speaker 3: this situation, there's nobody else on Sydney's side, and there's
- 28:53Speaker 3: nobody on Maria's side either, but there's just nobody else
- 28:56Speaker 3: involving themselves in it. And so as a result, I'm like,
- 28:59Speaker 3: it is not a thing. So Sidney, why did you
- 29:01Speaker 3: make it a thing?
- 29:03Speaker 2: I think if you were, if you're here talking to you,
- 29:08Speaker 2: and again, like I don't even think that anything is.
- 29:10Speaker 4: It's like it's not worth my breath.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Like I told her, I was like, if I didn't
- 29:14Speaker 2: know you, our recap of this on the podcast would
- 29:18Speaker 2: be like two minutes tops. We'd be like, what a
- 29:20Speaker 2: silly argument about age? Maybe yeah, she sounded condescending, but
- 29:26Speaker 2: like overall not a big deal, like why is this
- 29:28Speaker 2: getting airtime? But now that I know her, it's more
- 29:33Speaker 2: of a conversation obviously, and I just I just know
- 29:38Speaker 2: that there is more. She just there is more. There
- 29:40Speaker 2: is more going on.
- 29:41Speaker 4: And there is more people that have more opinions.
- 29:44Speaker 2: But like again, that's like stuff that doesn't make the cut,
- 29:46Speaker 2: and it's just like that's how it.
- 29:47Speaker 4: Goes on this show.
- 29:49Speaker 2: So much of what you want to see of your
- 29:51Speaker 2: experience doesn't get on and it gets extremely frustrating when
- 29:57Speaker 2: you try to explain yourself based on what people have
- 30:02Speaker 2: actually seen on.
- 30:03Speaker 4: TV and you're like no, no, no, no, like if.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Only you'd seen this, But it doesn't matter because we
- 30:08Speaker 3: don't know that side of it. I I know it
- 30:11Speaker 3: doesn't matter because we're talking about this show in particular
- 30:15Speaker 3: in this moment. Now here's my conclusion to it. If
- 30:21Speaker 3: this was the end of the conversation and this is
- 30:25Speaker 3: where it kind of fizzled out. To right, they're all
- 30:27Speaker 3: still around. There's the next week.
- 30:28Speaker 4: You kind of fizzle out.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Then it's nothing.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Except for the scenes to the next episode.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Yeah, then it's nothing like it's then it's like, yeah,
- 30:34Speaker 3: this is a stupid conversation. You guys are tired. You
- 30:36Speaker 3: got to go to bed, Like try this again to like,
- 30:39Speaker 3: this is nothing. I've seen a lot worse. I've seen
- 30:42Speaker 3: fistfights on this.
- 30:43Speaker 4: She is so much worse.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Yeah, but the scene is from the next episode point to.
- 30:48Speaker 3: This doesn't stop here. And what my concern is, I
- 30:53Speaker 3: agree with you on everything you're saying about Sidney so far.
- 30:56Speaker 3: She's beautiful. She is from what you tell me and
- 30:59Speaker 3: what we see on the show. She is cool, she's confident.
- 31:03Speaker 3: And what I what I'm worried about is this is
- 31:06Speaker 3: going to be the end of Sydney. Like she is
- 31:09Speaker 3: going to get herself in a situation that she cannot
- 31:12Speaker 3: get out of that she again should never have entered into.
- 31:16Speaker 3: And as a result, she was wrong because Sydney should
- 31:20Speaker 3: not have been playing in this mess. This was not
- 31:23Speaker 3: her mess to play with.
- 31:24Speaker 2: When Jared and I heard her side of all of this.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Both of us were.
- 31:31Speaker 4: Like, Okay, you should be interesting to.
- 31:33Speaker 2: See how this airs, because her story was definitely like
- 31:38Speaker 2: a she said this and then I said this, and
- 31:40Speaker 2: you know like a.
- 31:42Speaker 4: Lot of division. There's there's a lot of.
- 31:45Speaker 3: A lot of division for somebody that doesn't need to
- 31:47Speaker 3: be in division.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Yeah, so we we you know, we both were like,
- 31:53Speaker 4: should be interesting.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Sure, great responses again, Yeah it sucks for you.
- 31:58Speaker 2: No, No, I you know I had more hope than
- 32:01Speaker 2: Jared does. I still have more hope than Jared does.
- 32:04Speaker 2: I would love I can't wait to see the next
- 32:09Speaker 2: episode because this one I still stand by, Like I
- 32:13Speaker 2: want to know the general reaction. I was watching with
- 32:16Speaker 2: my sister this episode, and she was like, she's not
- 32:20Speaker 2: even you know she likes Sidney. She's met her a
- 32:22Speaker 2: few times. She doesn't, but she's not like gonna be
- 32:27Speaker 2: blind toward any of that or like really try to
- 32:29Speaker 2: stick up for she. She was like, no, Maria doesn't
- 32:33Speaker 2: come off She's like, Maria doesn't come across great. So
- 32:37Speaker 2: and I will kind of agree, like I don't think
- 32:38Speaker 2: Maria comes across as great, but I definitely don't think
- 32:41Speaker 2: Sidney's coming across as great. But I think both of
- 32:43Speaker 2: them are like kind of like, all right, I don't
- 32:45Speaker 2: have really a problem with either of you. See you guys,
- 32:49Speaker 2: you know I'm looking from a neutral perspective. I really
- 32:51Speaker 2: just think like, no one's like really effed up here.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Can you agree though, that Sidney should not have entered
- 32:58Speaker 3: in this conversation? Yes?
- 33:00Speaker 4: Absolutely, Yeah.
- 33:01Speaker 2: So like I said, I said, you do look like
- 33:03Speaker 2: you're entering into somebody else's business.
- 33:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you're that person right. Next week will be interesting,
- 33:09Speaker 3: it will be intriguing. If I was friends with Sydney,
- 33:13Speaker 3: I hope to meet her one day. My advice to
- 33:15Speaker 3: her would be going Paradise because people like you always
- 33:18Speaker 3: come back shining and a star after the beach. If
- 33:22Speaker 3: Paradise ever happens again.
- 33:23Speaker 4: No, but she could have win.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Ben. I don't see you over Daisy. I don't see
- 33:29Speaker 3: it right now, my mind, I see it. Final big
- 33:34Speaker 3: thing from this episode is Lauren goes home. It's very
- 33:36Speaker 3: anti climatic for somebody that was, you know, made a
- 33:39Speaker 3: splash on episode one and kind of making a splash
- 33:41Speaker 3: on episode two in a storyline that we're all intrigued by.
- 33:46Speaker 3: She just is like, I'm out of here. And I
- 33:48Speaker 3: get it. There's a lot of emotion and she doesn't
- 33:50Speaker 3: feel like she's like in the right space and headspace
- 33:53Speaker 3: for this. And I think the comparison with her sister
- 33:55Speaker 3: is probably getting to her. But her exit is very
- 33:58Speaker 3: anti climatic. It might be the most anti the antiklmatic
- 34:02Speaker 3: exit I've ever seen in the show. She just was
- 34:05Speaker 3: like I'm out of here, man, and he's like, okay, cool,
- 34:07Speaker 3: I wish I could do something. Sorry, your experience sucked.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Here's a cake and she threw it on the grounds
- 34:11Speaker 3: like peace and that's it, Like how was all happened?
- 34:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess I think it was kind of funny
- 34:17Speaker 2: and real, Like she obviously just like emotionally couldn't handle it.
- 34:20Speaker 2: And maybe it has to do it with like the
- 34:22Speaker 2: loss of her father. She's probably just in like a
- 34:24Speaker 2: very emotional stake constantly, like you know, up and down
- 34:27Speaker 2: all the time, Like she said, like the grief isn't linear,
- 34:30Speaker 2: and she was just like, you know, I guess I
- 34:32Speaker 2: can't handle this, and you know, everybody has that panic
- 34:36Speaker 2: moment this week. There's like something about Week two, like
- 34:39Speaker 2: I had a toll of what's shocking now a total
- 34:42Speaker 2: meltdown week two over some really stupid stuff.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Could not catch my breath.
- 34:47Speaker 2: One of the executive producers like took me out the back.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Door and was like, listen, you're good.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Like everybody has that moment week too. They're like, I
- 34:55Speaker 2: don't know if I can do this. You either pushed
- 34:58Speaker 2: through it and you usually real fine after that, or
- 35:02Speaker 2: you're just like, I gotta leave.
- 35:03Speaker 4: And she just had to leave.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, at least it makes.
- 35:06Speaker 4: Her a better situation for her sister.
- 35:08Speaker 2: Now.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I agree, she did have to leave.
- 35:12Speaker 3: I liked Lauren. I liked her on TV too.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I like her vibe and she was good TV.
- 35:16Speaker 2: She was like that great you know that she's from Philly,
- 35:21Speaker 2: that Jersey vibe.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Very I thought she was going to be a mean
- 35:24Speaker 3: girl and she never was. She was like more just
- 35:26Speaker 3: mean to herself, like she was great. So we do
- 35:31Speaker 3: have quite a few exits this week. Obviously, the two
- 35:33Speaker 3: that stand out Taylor, who made a lot of screen
- 35:36Speaker 3: time with her commentary kind of on uh just Jess
- 35:41Speaker 3: in the situation there, and then Lauren, obviously is known
- 35:46Speaker 3: for going home. Next week's scenes from the next episode,
- 35:50Speaker 3: they look dramatic. My concern is that all those things
- 35:54Speaker 3: are not going to happen in next week's episode. It's
- 35:56Speaker 3: going to be spread out over kind of the entirety
- 35:59Speaker 3: of the season. But we do know they have the
- 36:02Speaker 3: Bachelor open, which looks fun. I wish they would have
- 36:04Speaker 3: done golf for me because that had been cool because
- 36:07Speaker 3: I love golf. But obviously Joey is a lot better
- 36:09Speaker 3: at tennis than I am at golf. And we do
- 36:13Speaker 3: see this. It looks like we see this Sydney Joey,
- 36:17Speaker 3: Medina Maria thing continue. Ashley, you are in the know.
- 36:26Speaker 3: I know you can't say a lot, but can you
- 36:28Speaker 3: tell us a yes or no if it continues?
- 36:31Speaker 4: The drama continues for a couple weeks, goodness gracious, But
- 36:36Speaker 4: I hope it gets like more substantial, you know what
- 36:39Speaker 4: I mean? Like we need to see more of the
- 36:42Speaker 4: crux of the situation.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Is this.
- 36:45Speaker 4: That one conversation spurring that it's just weird?
- 36:48Speaker 2: They would not have aired that if it wasn't going
- 36:52Speaker 2: to lead to much bigger things, right.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I don't know, Ashley. I'm not an expert in this show.
- 36:58Speaker 3: I just break it down every week. All I know
- 37:00Speaker 3: is I'm very excited to see it. I wish she's
- 37:02Speaker 3: the show. I wish Sydney would stop and just like
- 37:07Speaker 3: focus on Joey. I did not want to see her
- 37:09Speaker 3: be the one to do this, and somehow she is
- 37:12Speaker 3: the one to do this. So Ashley final question of
- 37:15Speaker 3: the week, who is in your top three?
- 37:18Speaker 2: Daisy Rachel really did stand out in this episode of
- 37:22Speaker 2: me for chemistry, so maybe I would say Rachel, and
- 37:25Speaker 2: then I love I still really like kelsey A even
- 37:28Speaker 2: though we didn't see much of her this week, and
- 37:29Speaker 2: then I do feel like Jen still is very much
- 37:32Speaker 2: up there.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Okay, I will go Daisy Rachel. I can't say kelsey
- 37:37Speaker 3: A only because she is getting to edit. That makes
- 37:40Speaker 3: me think she's going to be around a long time,
- 37:42Speaker 3: because she obviously is somebody that Joey's into, yet we
- 37:46Speaker 3: don't see anything from her yet.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Sometimes they skip week two when it comes to People say.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I'm saying she gets that edit this week, which makes
- 37:53Speaker 3: me think she's still there for me, but I can't
- 37:56Speaker 3: say it. Yeah, Jen, I'm gonna put Eliza up there.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Liza seems to be catching Uh. When you said you mean.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Jess, no, I meant Jen, who would didn't make much
- 38:09Speaker 2: of a splash this week either.
- 38:10Speaker 4: Yeah, but Jess, you just said that you thought that
- 38:13Speaker 4: Jess was gonna like.
- 38:15Speaker 3: I don't think it's in there. No, I'm just intrigued
- 38:17Speaker 3: that I don't think she's up there either.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna put Rachel, Daisy and Liza only because it
- 38:24Speaker 3: feels like when Joey. When Joey sees Liza, he just
- 38:30Speaker 3: loves it.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Who's Liza? Well, hope, wait a second, how am I
- 38:37Speaker 4: forgetting this lady?
- 38:38Speaker 3: I like that actually said I know everybody's name, and
- 38:42Speaker 3: and then I'm the one pulling out names that she
- 38:44Speaker 3: doesn't know.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Are you sure not thinking aout Lexi? Because a Lexi also.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Had quite a nice moment during the cocktail party when
- 38:51Speaker 2: she did the funny thing where she was like, I'm
- 38:53Speaker 2: a fine arts I have a master in fine arts,
- 38:55Speaker 2: and then she.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Lexi was the one I was thinking, I'm sorry about that.
- 38:59Speaker 4: All right?
- 39:00Speaker 3: Still early on, we're gonna get better at this. This
- 39:04Speaker 3: has been the almost day this podcast again. Great episode.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Joey is fantastic. I think he is great for the show.
- 39:11Speaker 4: He's so good.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he is just a good dude. I
- 39:15Speaker 3: am excited to see where his journey continues with all
- 39:19Speaker 3: of the women loved. I think we have a great
- 39:20Speaker 3: season on our hands, and so we'll be back next
- 39:22Speaker 3: week bringing down episode three of The Bachelor. I am
- 39:25Speaker 3: heading to Carmel, as we do most years, to hang
- 39:30Speaker 3: out with a bunch of former Bachelor people, to do
- 39:35Speaker 3: a lot of episodes, to recap with some of our favorites,
- 39:38Speaker 3: to get insights into new love interests and to what's
- 39:41Speaker 3: happening romantically in their lives. Ashley, obviously, with her big
- 39:45Speaker 3: announcement recently, is gonna be hanging back and just chilling. Y.
- 39:49Speaker 2: My body can't do another cross country trip after the
- 39:53Speaker 2: Golden Bachelor. That was a strain on my body and
- 39:56Speaker 2: I don't imagine doing it again. And also, Dawson's second
- 40:00Speaker 2: birthday on Wednesday, which is where you're going, And yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 2: the I missed. Well, we didn't miss his last birthday.
- 40:07Speaker 2: Of course, we met Tom Brady on his birthday, but
- 40:09Speaker 2: he wasn't able to be home and my mom also
- 40:12Speaker 2: shares his birthday, so this week we wanted to have
- 40:15Speaker 2: them be together on their birthday.
- 40:17Speaker 3: It's totally good, it's totally cool. But I will be
- 40:19Speaker 3: going out to Carmel with a bunch of people. So
- 40:21Speaker 3: the Almost Famous Podcast is going to be producing some
- 40:23Speaker 3: incredible content, not because I'm the one doing it, just
- 40:27Speaker 3: because there's going to be some great guests, Susie and Justin.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Susie and Justine.
- 40:31Speaker 4: We'll be joining you for that interview via zoom.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Of course you are. Even though you can't make it,
- 40:35Speaker 3: you'll be there. You can't miss album.
- 40:37Speaker 4: There can't miss the couple that's like Jared and I.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Oh all right, well, hey, so again a lot of
