- 0:00Speaker 1: Live from the w R Life back studios will mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: some own show.
- 0:10Speaker 2: A lot of smoke out there, and that's the wildfire smoke.
- 0:14Speaker 2: There's a bunch of outdoor events tonight that have actually
- 0:17Speaker 2: been moved inside. They think it's unhealthy to stand out
- 0:20Speaker 2: there for a couple of hours, So bear that in
- 0:21Speaker 2: mind if you're out doing stuff today. That smoke not good.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Hang on a minute here, Oh, I see it's some
- 0:29Speaker 2: very important text you know that, the Paragold. It's like Wayfair.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I bought something from them once. I now get seven
- 0:37Speaker 2: texts a day from that. This will be like a
- 0:41Speaker 2: year and a half. If you ever feel that no
- 0:44Speaker 2: one cares about you, nobody thinks about you, you buy something
- 0:47Speaker 2: from Wayfair or Paragold, you will hear from them four
- 0:52Speaker 2: times a day, every day of your life. Forever. You'll
- 0:55Speaker 2: know somebody cares about you. So the President tonight will
- 1:00Speaker 2: make a primetime address. There's no such thing anymore, really,
- 1:03Speaker 2: primetime network address. You know the old days that meant
- 1:06Speaker 2: ninety million people at see and now it means that
- 1:08Speaker 2: twelve people will see it. But he's going to talk
- 1:11Speaker 2: about a number of things. Iran and apparently it's a
- 1:14Speaker 2: medley of stuff, and he will get into well, he's
- 1:20Speaker 2: going to talk about free and fair elections. Free and
- 1:24Speaker 2: fair elections. Now this is going to imply that something
- 1:29Speaker 2: was wrong with the twenty twenty election and the twenty
- 1:31Speaker 2: twenty four and what. But it will drive Democrats crazy.
- 1:36Speaker 2: And apparently he is going to say that there was
- 1:39Speaker 2: some China interference in the election. But all of this
- 1:43Speaker 2: is to get that Save America Act passed, which is
- 1:45Speaker 2: a very very good idea. You want secure elections, you
- 1:50Speaker 2: want to make sure everybody voting is a citizen and
- 1:54Speaker 2: qualified to be voting. So he'll talk about that tonight.
- 1:58Speaker 2: We'll see who carries it. Obviously Fox News, Newsmax. Obviously
- 2:02Speaker 2: they'll carry it to cable news. But as far as
- 2:06Speaker 2: the regular networks, who knows what they'll do. We'll carry it.
- 2:09Speaker 2: We're going to broadcast it live. But that's tonight at
- 2:13Speaker 2: nine o'clock, So keep an eye on that. Hey, does
- 2:16Speaker 2: anybody ever watch News twelve? If you're in New York City?
- 2:20Speaker 2: You got New York one, which nobody watches. It used
- 2:23Speaker 2: to be popular. I used to be on New York
- 2:25Speaker 2: one for many years, but that was before the iPhone.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Once the iPhone came out because they found out most
- 2:31Speaker 2: people were putting on New York one to see the time,
- 2:33Speaker 2: the temperature, get the weather, get the transit, that kind
- 2:36Speaker 2: of But now it's all on your phone. But News
- 2:39Speaker 2: twelve is like the New York one of everywhere else
- 2:41Speaker 2: there's News twelve, Long Island, there's News twelfth, New Jersey,
- 2:44Speaker 2: News twelfth, Connecticut, News twelve Westchester, but nobody watches it.
- 2:50Speaker 2: And apparently it was a bloodbath there yesterday at News twelve.
- 2:54Speaker 2: They fired a lot of people. I mean, they just
- 2:57Speaker 2: gutted the place, twelve, just firing all kinds of people
- 3:03Speaker 2: left and right. People couldn't believe how bad it got there.
- 3:08Speaker 2: In fact, like entire newsrooms were cleaned out. So apparently
- 3:13Speaker 2: they'll keep Long Island because that's a big place with
- 3:16Speaker 2: a big population. You know, there's like six million people
- 3:19Speaker 2: on Long Island. But as far as Westchester and Connecticut,
- 3:25Speaker 2: they're going to combine a lot of these news twelves
- 3:28Speaker 2: into one News twelve that'll do just general suburban news.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It was a big thing yesterday. A lot of people
- 3:34Speaker 2: quite shaken when that happened. You get to remember people
- 3:38Speaker 2: don't watch television anymore. You know, they always think radio
- 3:41Speaker 2: is dying. Radio has more people listening today than twenty
- 3:45Speaker 2: years ago. Television viewership broadcast television viewership in cable is
- 3:51Speaker 2: way way down. Radio more people listening today than twenty
- 3:56Speaker 2: years ago. Television a lot less people listening today then
- 4:01Speaker 2: twenty years ago. Hey, crazy Jack Smith could be in
- 4:05Speaker 2: real trouble. That is great news, very very good news.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Jack Smith had to testify before Congress and it turns
- 4:16Speaker 2: out that Jack Smith is evil prosecutor. He's a dirty
- 4:21Speaker 2: hit man. That's why they flew him in from halfway
- 4:23Speaker 2: around the world to go after Trump. When they needed
- 4:26Speaker 2: a special council. There's like a two thousand of them
- 4:29Speaker 2: in DC, but they went to the Hague to bring
- 4:32Speaker 2: this guy in because he's got a track record. His
- 4:34Speaker 2: history is going after Republican opponents, targeting them and persecuting
- 4:40Speaker 2: prosecuting them. So they brought him in to do Trump
- 4:44Speaker 2: and it was ridiculous. You remember the raid on mar
- 4:47Speaker 2: A Lago. First of all, it's a president of the
- 4:50Speaker 2: United States. You don't raid his house. They were agents
- 4:55Speaker 2: that rated house, were told to go in with guns drawn.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They were given authority to use deadly force if they
- 5:03Speaker 2: have to. This is Jack Smith. Can you imagine this?
- 5:07Speaker 2: They were given authority if they had to to use
- 5:11Speaker 2: deadly force at mar A Lago. Now, if you go
- 5:13Speaker 2: into mar A Lago, all it is is a bunch
- 5:16Speaker 2: of old ladies going, how are you to use deadly
- 5:19Speaker 2: force in there? It's also heavily guarded, it's guarded by
- 5:24Speaker 2: the Secret Service. What would you need to use deadly force?
- 5:27Speaker 2: But this is this evil Jack Smith, that bug eyed
- 5:30Speaker 2: weirdo Jack Smith, if that's really his name. Now he
- 5:36Speaker 2: did say at the time, because he kept expanding the investigation,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and he's a dirty cop, a very dirty cop. He
- 5:44Speaker 2: kept expanding and expanding, and then somehow he got the
- 5:49Speaker 2: phone records of a lot of people, anybody talking to
- 5:51Speaker 2: anybody in Congress, got their phone records. And he testified
- 5:54Speaker 2: under oath back then that all he did was get
- 5:57Speaker 2: a record of their phone calls, their phone records. That
- 6:01Speaker 2: was his testimony under oath. But it turns out now
- 6:04Speaker 2: they've discovered because the Trump people came in, took over
- 6:07Speaker 2: the Justice Department and FBI and intelligence, and they've seen everything.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Apparently Jack Smith got more than the phone records. He
- 6:16Speaker 2: got the text messages and he did total surveillance on
- 6:20Speaker 2: forty four members of Congress. He got their conversations, he
- 6:24Speaker 2: got their texts, and he looked at all of them.
- 6:27Speaker 2: They are furious these Congress people ran Paul said. New
- 6:32Speaker 2: evidence confirms he spied on dozens of members of Congress.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Myself included a blatant abuse of power and exactly what
- 6:40Speaker 2: our founders warned about. He got more and more, Congressman saying,
- 6:46Speaker 2: DOJ records confirmed Jack Smith reviewed the contents of text
- 6:50Speaker 2: messages of forty four members of Congress. Chuck Grassey said,
- 6:54Speaker 2: I'm one of the forty four and Missouri Senator Josh
- 6:59Speaker 2: Holly said it looks like perjury because he lied about it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: He out and out lied. He said he just saw
- 7:05Speaker 2: a record of their phone calls. He lied he was
- 7:07Speaker 2: actually going through all their texts. So this could be
- 7:11Speaker 2: a very serious perjury charge. We could actually see evil
- 7:15Speaker 2: Jack Smith finally end up in jail where he belongs. Now,
- 7:20Speaker 2: a lot of Democrats got spied on by Jack Smith.
- 7:22Speaker 2: He saw that he read through their text messages. Corey Booker,
- 7:27Speaker 2: Adam Smith, these are all Democrats, Karen Bassa, California. But
- 7:32Speaker 2: he also went through the text he did total surveillance,
- 7:36Speaker 2: went through the text of Lee Zelden, Susan Collins, Tom Cotton,
- 7:40Speaker 2: Steve Scalise, Elise Stefoniic and they're all fuming. But again
- 7:45Speaker 2: in December he testified, but he was asked whether his
- 7:50Speaker 2: team ever looked at the context of text messages, and
- 7:54Speaker 2: he replied, no, that's out and out perjury. Hopefully he
- 8:00Speaker 2: gets convicted of this and that's the end of evil.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Jack Smith. Hey, yesterday there was a vote in the House.
- 8:09Speaker 2: This is how bad it's gotten. There was a vote
- 8:12Speaker 2: to stop all aid to Israel, eliminate the billions of
- 8:16Speaker 2: dollars in aid to Israel. Could you imagine that. Well,
- 8:19Speaker 2: it got voted down because the Republicans made sure it
- 8:21Speaker 2: got voted down. But you should know that a hundred
- 8:25Speaker 2: House Democrats voted to end all aid to Israel. A
- 8:29Speaker 2: hundred House Democrats voted for it. Now, they did this
- 8:32Speaker 2: two years ago, but only thirty seven Democrats voted for it.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Now it's a hundred. It's getting out of control. One
- 8:40Speaker 2: hundred Democrats voted for that. Absolutely disgusting. Now let's get
- 8:47Speaker 2: to the governor's race. Kathy Hokeel against Bruce Blakeman. Everybody
- 8:52Speaker 2: in their right mind wants Bruce Blakeman to win. He'd
- 8:55Speaker 2: be the perfect governor. He's a governor right now in
- 8:57Speaker 2: Nassau County, county executive if that's basically being a governor,
- 9:01Speaker 2: and he's the best county executive in America, done a
- 9:04Speaker 2: phenomenal job Nassau County, doing better than any county. Be
- 9:08Speaker 2: the perfect governor. Problem is, it's tough, and you know,
- 9:13Speaker 2: become tougher for a Republican to get elected. And the
- 9:16Speaker 2: problem here right now is Kathy Hochel has a huge
- 9:20Speaker 2: war chest, a ton of money. Hockel raised twenty million
- 9:25Speaker 2: dollars already, twenty million, and there's another twenty two million
- 9:30Speaker 2: that'll come to her from the Democratic Party, New York
- 9:33Speaker 2: Democratic Party, the New York Committee, so that brings her
- 9:37Speaker 2: total to forty two million. That's a lot of money
- 9:41Speaker 2: for a governor. So race forty two million is a
- 9:43Speaker 2: huge war chest. Now Blakeman has raised about eleven million
- 9:49Speaker 2: dollars that's with the matching funds and all that stuff.
- 9:52Speaker 2: But he's got to get more.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Now.
- 9:53Speaker 2: The problem is the New York State Republican Committee, it's
- 9:58Speaker 2: not as well organized they've got about a quarter of
- 10:02Speaker 2: a million dollars two hundred and fifteen thousand. The state
- 10:05Speaker 2: eopieces has raised more than a million. But this is
- 10:08Speaker 2: nothing compared to Democrats in New York. There's a very
- 10:13Speaker 2: week week Republican Party in New York. So Blakeman needs money.
- 10:17Speaker 2: You can donate. Go to Blakemanfronewyork dot com Blakemanfronewyork dot com.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Now another problem, there's a lot of big, big, big
- 10:27Speaker 2: business guys, big major donors all over New York, and
- 10:32Speaker 2: they want Blakeman. They really want Blakeman. They want to
- 10:35Speaker 2: get rid of Hokel. She's bad for business, she's bad
- 10:37Speaker 2: for New York. They want Blakeman. So I say to them, well,
- 10:41Speaker 2: why don't you donate to Blakeman. Gotta be careful. I
- 10:46Speaker 2: can't offend Kathy Hokel. You know, I do a lot
- 10:48Speaker 2: of business here and she is the governor. And if
- 10:51Speaker 2: I give to Blakeman, it's not gonna list. So that's
- 10:54Speaker 2: a problem. That's a big problem. But again you can donate.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's Blakeman from New York dot com. Hopefully he catches
- 11:00Speaker 2: up and if they get a debate, obviously Blakeman and
- 11:03Speaker 2: just wipe her out in a debate. But knowing her,
- 11:07Speaker 2: she'll just stall and put it off and be very
- 11:10Speaker 2: tough to actually get her to debate. Hey, yesterday was
- 11:14Speaker 2: the hearings the horse drawn carriages City Council talking about
- 11:18Speaker 2: getting rid of them. I think you just need to
- 11:21Speaker 2: cut down on them. And there are a lot of
- 11:24Speaker 2: people saying, you know what, get rid of the bikes
- 11:26Speaker 2: in Central Park, get rid of the e bikes. There
- 11:28Speaker 2: are some horrible incidents with these horses, but they're like
- 11:31Speaker 2: once a year. And when it comes to the bikes
- 11:35Speaker 2: zooming around Central Park, there's like forty accidents a day.
- 11:39Speaker 2: So get rid of the bikes in Central Park first.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But there was hearings yesterday. You know, it was brilliant
- 11:44Speaker 2: in the hearings. Curtis Sliwa, he was great testifying. He
- 11:48Speaker 2: wants to get rid of the horses, of course, but
- 11:50Speaker 2: he was great testifying.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Animals are people and it is the responsibility of you
- 11:56Speaker 1: elected officials to protect the rights of all animals.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah. See, Curtis has a he's got a hearing voice.
- 12:04Speaker 2: He's got the perfect hearing voice, like on the radio.
- 12:07Speaker 2: You can talk like this, but you can't talk like
- 12:09Speaker 2: this in the hearing. You have to talk like see,
- 12:11Speaker 2: I can't do it very well. Curtis does it perfectly,
- 12:14Speaker 2: just the right pitch for a hearing.
- 12:16Speaker 1: This family that came from India celebrate the graduation of
- 12:21Speaker 1: their eighteen year old son. If they had gone to
- 12:24Speaker 1: Bombay now called Mubaia, they would no longer have been
- 12:28Speaker 1: able to take a horse john carriage that predated back
- 12:32Speaker 1: to Queen Victoria because the Bombay High Court ruled it
- 12:37Speaker 1: to be a barbaric act.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It was great. You got to know how to do
- 12:41Speaker 2: that because the bomb berber it doesn't sound right when
- 12:44Speaker 2: I do it.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He does it perfectly in city after city around the world,
- 12:48Speaker 1: first world, third world cities. We should be ashamed of
- 12:52Speaker 1: ourselves that they have led in banning this barbaric behavior
- 12:57Speaker 1: and most times replacing them with a electric carriages so
- 13:02Speaker 1: that the horse drivers, the carriage drivers can continue to
- 13:06Speaker 1: have an income. We're not even considering that here.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Oh, that's a pretty good idea. Actually, you get rid
- 13:12Speaker 2: of the horses, make them electric. You're right, you know.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I was talking to one of the top car people
- 13:18Speaker 2: and runs some of the biggest service centers, and he's
- 13:23Speaker 2: not a fan of electric cars, but he pointed out,
- 13:27Speaker 2: as far as these people have all electric cars, they
- 13:30Speaker 2: really never come in for service. You know, you go
- 13:32Speaker 2: to any big service department, the big dealership, there's a
- 13:34Speaker 2: million cars in there, but there's no electric cars in there.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Apparently nothing breaks in these electric cars. They just never
- 13:42Speaker 2: come in for service. You know, I never thought about that,
- 13:45Speaker 2: but Curtis was great.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Let me tell you about the tradition at the Bronx
- 13:48Speaker 1: Sioux they always had elephants. Reme'mber happy. The elephant wasn't
- 13:51Speaker 1: all that happy. Happy died and the Bronx Sioux decided
- 13:56Speaker 1: to send Patty, the remaining elephant, to where Elephant Sanctuary
- 14:01Speaker 1: and will have elephants no more, even though they will
- 14:04Speaker 1: lose money because they recognize finally, after many of us
- 14:09Speaker 1: animal welfare activists pounded their door, that is enough is enough?
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I understand his passion to help these animals,
- 14:19Speaker 2: but an elephant, I don't know what I mean. Is
- 14:23Speaker 2: it that bad? The elephants in the zoo, I mean,
- 14:25Speaker 2: they just kind of stand around. If they weren't in
- 14:28Speaker 2: the zoo, what would the elephant be doing. He'd be
- 14:30Speaker 2: in the jungle standing around, at least in the zoo,
- 14:33Speaker 2: you're like a star. You know, kids are applauding you,
- 14:36Speaker 2: smiling at you, waving at you. I understand if you're
- 14:41Speaker 2: like a horse, you want to be out there galloping around.
- 14:45Speaker 2: You don't want to be in the zoo. But an
- 14:47Speaker 2: elephant basically just stands there all day. Anyway, there's one more.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Did you know of any issue that ever brought Mayro
- 14:52Speaker 1: candidates together as a special car? Adams, Andrew Cuomo, Zoran
- 15:00Speaker 1: Curtis sweetwom you speaker? So if you're gonna take the
- 15:04Speaker 1: money from t WU Local one hundred, the blood money,
- 15:09Speaker 1: you are not humanitarians.
- 15:12Speaker 4: You stop.
- 15:16Speaker 2: People will be escorted out. Stop. Yeah, no, no, this
- 15:20Speaker 2: is why they're idiots in the city council. It sounded
- 15:22Speaker 2: pretty good there, right, He was really coming to a
- 15:24Speaker 2: great crescendo. What are you trying to stop him for?
- 15:26Speaker 2: It sounds great. Anyway, before we take a break, we
- 15:30Speaker 2: must play this again. Chuck Schumer has become the laughing
- 15:33Speaker 2: stock of the world for his massive fart yesterday. He's
- 15:39Speaker 2: speaking in uh extually the day before, he's speaking on
- 15:43Speaker 2: the Senate floor. You know, he tries to look serious.
- 15:45Speaker 2: He puts on these big glasses and he wears that
- 15:48Speaker 2: cheap suit. But this is real. This is not Ai,
- 15:51Speaker 2: This is not fake. This is Schumer in the Senate.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Now on Iran in the NDAA, when all the Trump
- 15:58Speaker 5: administration can say out his disastrous war with Iran is
- 16:02Speaker 5: that Vietnam was worse.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Now, that was a pretty big one. It wasn't It
- 16:07Speaker 2: was a long big one. Listen now on.
- 16:09Speaker 5: Iran and the NDAA when all this guy is so disgusting, sleazy, cheap,
- 16:18Speaker 5: but just personally just a disgusting human being.
- 16:21Speaker 2: And did he say anything? You could? If you watch
- 16:23Speaker 2: the video, you see him smile. He kind of laughs
- 16:25Speaker 2: a little at it. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Set up reseet on the iHeartRadio app to do wor
- 16:40Speaker 1: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 16:44Speaker 1: hear him anytime.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Now back to Mark Simone on do Wor.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Hey, let's take you call. It's eight hundred three two
- 16:53Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 16:56Speaker 2: Dave in Chicago. Dave, how you doing?
- 16:59Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, I'm doing very well, Thank you, Mark.
- 17:02Speaker 6: I have three radio facts I think will be of interest.
- 17:06Speaker 4: First of all, the latest meals.
- 17:08Speaker 6: And PPM ratings report that the news talk format is
- 17:12Speaker 6: number one. Secondly, many people are refusing to buy a
- 17:16Speaker 6: car unless it's equipped with an AM radio.
- 17:19Speaker 3: It's a deal breaker.
- 17:21Speaker 6: And lastly, back in nineteen forty, people listen to radio
- 17:25Speaker 6: daily on an average of three hours and.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Forty minutes.
- 17:30Speaker 2: In nineteen forty. In nineteen forty, yes, three hours. Yeah,
- 17:35Speaker 2: I think it's more than that. Note it's actually increased. Well,
- 17:37Speaker 2: good facts, Dave, thanks for calling you. If you get
- 17:39Speaker 2: a car, some of the newer cars, believe it or not,
- 17:42Speaker 2: there's some that do not have an AM radio. And
- 17:45Speaker 2: if that's the case, you can still listen to WR
- 17:50Speaker 2: in that car by using our HD channel. I think
- 17:52Speaker 2: it's wk TU HD two. If there's no AM, it'll
- 17:56Speaker 2: have the HD channels. We have an HD channel. And
- 18:00Speaker 2: also listen on the iHeart app on your phone and
- 18:04Speaker 2: just bring up the station. Just the iHeart app downloaded,
- 18:07Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app. It's got all the stations on it,
- 18:10Speaker 2: but you can, and you can when you get in
- 18:12Speaker 2: your car. It'll bluetooth right through your car speaker and
- 18:15Speaker 2: you can listen to us that way. Let's go to
- 18:18Speaker 2: George and Port Jefferson. George, how you doing, Hi, Mark.
- 18:22Speaker 7: There's a way. I was a retired cur Clark. Big deal.
- 18:24Speaker 7: But I know about the Grievance Committee. Lawyer is hated.
- 18:26Speaker 7: It takes money away from them. Jack Smith was born
- 18:29Speaker 7: in Syracuse. He's admitted to practice law in New York.
- 18:32Speaker 7: If somebody can get a hold I don't have the
- 18:34Speaker 7: juice of Macarthy and all the people he subpeded their bones.
- 18:38Speaker 7: They can file individual grievances against them. He could be
- 18:42Speaker 7: suspended for the practice of law because rumor has it
- 18:44Speaker 7: he's trying to set up his own law firm in
- 18:46Speaker 7: New York. I have more.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Oh that's a good idea. Now, of course, you don't
- 18:50Speaker 2: need to be believe or not. You don't need to
- 18:51Speaker 2: meet a lawyer to be a special prosecutor, believe.
- 18:54Speaker 4: It or not.
- 18:54Speaker 7: But no, But he's trying to start his own private
- 18:57Speaker 7: law firm. But he could be disbarred from the practice
- 19:00Speaker 7: a law in New York. That would hurt him financially.
- 19:03Speaker 7: But I don't have the juice to speak a McCarthey
- 19:05Speaker 7: already the Trump family. He committed grievous acts as a lawyer,
- 19:11Speaker 7: and they should go after him that.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, and he's the most unethical guy in the world.
- 19:14Speaker 2: That's why they brought him in. But don't worry. President
- 19:16Speaker 2: Trump will go after him. I'm sure he won't let
- 19:18Speaker 2: this go. Let's go to Sandra in North Plainfield. Sandra,
- 19:22Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 19:23Speaker 3: Hi?
- 19:23Speaker 8: Mark, Thank you, I'm great.
- 19:25Speaker 7: I'll check.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Hi.
- 19:27Speaker 7: You go, I'll just check.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I'm fine.
- 19:29Speaker 9: I check.
- 19:31Speaker 8: I just I don't know whether I should even be
- 19:33Speaker 8: speaking with you about this because it pertains to Curtis.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Yeah, what is it?
- 19:41Speaker 8: Well, would you tell Curtis to stick with cats? He
- 19:46Speaker 8: knows absolutely nothing about horses.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Well, he sounded pretty knowledgeable about it.
- 19:52Speaker 8: No, he does.
- 19:53Speaker 2: But you got to remember, whenever somebody gives you one
- 19:55Speaker 2: of those you should tell Trump to Why don't you
- 19:58Speaker 2: somebody should tell Curtis somebody's it's usually totally invalid. You
- 20:02Speaker 2: know what Curtis is doing just fine? Actually, I think
- 20:08Speaker 2: somebody should tell you to stop picking on Curtis.
- 20:12Speaker 7: No, it's fun.
- 20:13Speaker 8: No, no, no, no, no, it makes my day to
- 20:16Speaker 8: pick on Curtis.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Oh okay, but you notice he spoke with the hearing
- 20:20Speaker 2: and he got like a thunderous ovation applause. That means
- 20:25Speaker 2: you did well.
- 20:28Speaker 8: Okay, I accept that. Anyways, you're like one of those
- 20:31Speaker 8: bad New York Times critics.
- 20:34Speaker 2: You're like a bad New York's Times critic where the
- 20:36Speaker 2: show got twelve standing ovations and then you're right, it
- 20:39Speaker 2: was no good. It didn't.
- 20:40Speaker 8: Okay, I appreciate it. I love your show every day. You're
- 20:45Speaker 8: the man. You are the man.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Thanks for thanks for calling. Let's go to uh Patrick
- 20:51Speaker 2: in Eastchester. Patrick, how you doing very well?
- 20:53Speaker 10: Mark? Thanks for taking the call. You know, I share
- 20:56Speaker 10: your opinion on this whole fifer and it just soccer.
- 21:01Speaker 10: It's a very very boring sport. But with all the hooplaw,
- 21:04Speaker 10: it's getting all the world dignitaries coming from all around.
- 21:07Speaker 10: Did you ever see the size trophy? No, when you win,
- 21:11Speaker 10: it's like six inches tall. It's the craziest thing I
- 21:13Speaker 10: ever saw. It's smaller than like an Academy war trophy.
- 21:16Speaker 10: So with all this hooplaw, you think they could afford
- 21:18Speaker 10: you know, a little bit more, a little bit more
- 21:20Speaker 10: fancier trophy.
- 21:22Speaker 2: That's a very good point. I got to look into that.
- 21:24Speaker 2: That is a very good point, what a cheesy little trophy. Well,
- 21:28Speaker 2: what do you want from a sport? They run around
- 21:30Speaker 2: and play in shorts with knee socks. It looks very
- 21:32Speaker 2: silly at time for one more Loo and Queens lou
- 21:35Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 21:37Speaker 9: Hy Marcus? I agree with you. There's a middle ground
- 21:40Speaker 9: on the Central Park coursing. People forget that there has
- 21:44Speaker 9: been problems with horse racing. There's problems with harness racing.
- 21:49Speaker 9: And by the way, yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's a very good point. You know, the horse drawn
- 21:52Speaker 2: carriage again, it doesn't look that cruel. You watch a
- 21:56Speaker 2: horse race. You got a jockey kicking the horse, whipping
- 21:59Speaker 2: the horse, slapping the horse. That looks pretty cruel, making
- 22:03Speaker 2: the horse run like that. Yeah, you're right. He worried
- 22:06Speaker 2: about cruelty to horses. Stop that horse racing. It looks vicious.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Could you imagine a guy sitting on you, kicking you
- 22:13Speaker 2: and hitting you in the head over and over again.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Who wants that? It's cruel? What a cruel sport? Hey,
- 22:19Speaker 2: when we come back to the great comedian and talk
- 22:22Speaker 2: show host Jimmy Fayler, we'll talk to him next on
- 22:25Speaker 2: seven to ten WR No.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Mark Simone Show continues WR.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Well Jimmy Fayla, great talk show hosts, very funny comedian.
- 22:36Speaker 2: He is on WR every night nine to midnight Monday
- 22:41Speaker 2: through Friday. You gotta listen. It's a very funny show.
- 22:43Speaker 2: And then on Saturday nights on the Fox News Channel
- 22:46Speaker 2: he does the best late night show in television with
- 22:48Speaker 2: the best monologue you'll ever see anywhere in television. Every
- 22:52Speaker 2: Saturday night, ten o'clock, Fox News Channel. Every weeknight here
- 22:56Speaker 2: nine o'clock on w R Jimmy Fayla, how you doing?
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm good man.
- 23:01Speaker 4: This is a grand finale of sorts because I got
- 23:04Speaker 4: to head out to California for some stand up shows
- 23:08Speaker 4: and they need some help counting the votes in the
- 23:10Speaker 4: mayor's race. They said, so, yeah, bag out a few jokes,
- 23:15Speaker 4: grab a few ballots. We could wrap up this mayor's
- 23:18Speaker 4: race just two short months after it started.
- 23:21Speaker 2: It's right, it's two months later. They haven't kind of
- 23:23Speaker 2: the votes yet. So and if you're around the country,
- 23:26Speaker 2: Jimmy Fale is always on tour all over the place.
- 23:29Speaker 2: How do you keep up this schedule? Five nights here
- 23:31Speaker 2: Saturday night, Fox News Channel.
- 23:33Speaker 3: And then you know it's called drugs Mark Drugs I'm
- 23:38Speaker 3: kidding them.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Actually pretty, I'm actually pretty queen. But anybody listening locally,
- 23:42Speaker 4: we because I.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Have to go away.
- 23:43Speaker 4: We're actually taping my TV show tonight because I have
- 23:47Speaker 4: my son on, I have Lincoln on, and I have
- 23:48Speaker 4: Jillian Michaels on. And what's funny is Jillian Michaels you know,
- 23:52Speaker 4: she from the Biggest Losers. So she just always comes
- 23:54Speaker 4: on the show and calls me fat. But I'm bringing
- 23:57Speaker 4: my kid tonight so she could.
- 23:58Speaker 3: See what I would look like if I was skinny,
- 24:01Speaker 3: because like, I'm not going to get in shape.
- 24:03Speaker 4: But he's in shape. But you know what I mean,
- 24:04Speaker 4: he is me if I was trying. So it's a
- 24:08Speaker 4: good panel. If you're in the Tri State area. We're
- 24:10Speaker 4: taping tonight at eight and you can always get free tickets.
- 24:12Speaker 3: At foxacross at America dot com.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and it takes somebody because it's a great thing.
- 24:17Speaker 2: You know, you don't have to tell him you got
- 24:19Speaker 2: it for free. You can just say, I I arranged
- 24:21Speaker 2: for us to go to Fox News and we'll be
- 24:23Speaker 2: in the audience.
- 24:26Speaker 4: If I honestly, if this scenario presented itself when I was,
- 24:30Speaker 4: you know, a single guy Okay, because I have. I mean, honestly,
- 24:34Speaker 4: I've listened to you since I was graduating division. Okay,
- 24:37Speaker 4: if I knew I had free tickets to take chicks
- 24:41Speaker 4: to a TV I was like, I would have been
- 24:43Speaker 4: cleaning up, you know what I'm saying, cleaning off. You
- 24:46Speaker 4: take a girl to a TV show and they're like, Wow,
- 24:49Speaker 4: this guy's like really connected.
- 24:50Speaker 3: How did he get you these seats?
- 24:51Speaker 4: They don't need to know that they're free, Fellas, I'm
- 24:54Speaker 4: telling you because I care.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Yeah, just go to Fox Across America. It's tonight, right,
- 24:58Speaker 2: you can get the tickets for tonight.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Fox Across the Night at eight o'clock.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Oh okay, Fox across America. You can see the taping
- 25:05Speaker 2: tonight at eight o'clock. And he's very good, Jimmy Phillip.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Besides on the show, I mean, he talks to the audience,
- 25:10Speaker 2: you can take pictures, you meet a lot of people
- 25:12Speaker 2: and it's fun there. So Fox Across America, free show
- 25:17Speaker 2: tonight at eight o'clock. And hey, we saw each other
- 25:20Speaker 2: a Monday night. We had dinner with Mark Malkoff, the
- 25:22Speaker 2: guy who wrote the greatest Johnny Carson book ever and
- 25:26Speaker 2: wasn't that interesting studying the great Johnny Carson.
- 25:28Speaker 4: That was and I'm telling you this, that's the only
- 25:32Speaker 4: time in anyone's life that a dinner has lasted four
- 25:35Speaker 4: hours where no one was drinking.
- 25:38Speaker 3: That was incredible.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Like he had just such a wealth of knowledge between
- 25:42Speaker 4: the two of you, and you know, I was just
- 25:44Speaker 4: on the other side of the table kind of hanging
- 25:46Speaker 4: out doing my thing and I but it was.
- 25:48Speaker 3: It was magical.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Like he's like obviously a walking encyclopedia. You know, you're
- 25:52Speaker 4: connected to every news figure of relevance.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Who've ever lived. I think I think you're the third
- 25:57Speaker 3: guy in that Daily Plaza video he said, all the
- 26:00Speaker 3: other stories you told me.
- 26:01Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm pretty sure Simon was there too.
- 26:04Speaker 2: But it was.
- 26:04Speaker 4: It was so good and I would be remiss if
- 26:06Speaker 4: I did not shout out it was Mastro Steakhouse.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Is that where we were?
- 26:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it was phenomenal food.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Wait, yeah, they deserve credit because it was great, and
- 26:18Speaker 4: I'd be wrong if I didn't shout him out.
- 26:19Speaker 3: And even which is funny, I ate a salad, which
- 26:22Speaker 3: I don't think you're supposed to be doing right now.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Because of this crazy story in the news about people
- 26:26Speaker 4: getting thick, but I had a salad before a port shop.
- 26:29Speaker 3: But whatever the heck I ate. It was a a
- 26:31Speaker 3: ten out of ten. No nos, it was great.
- 26:33Speaker 2: It was phenomenal, and we got to thank Tom Cuddy
- 26:35Speaker 2: because he picked up the check. Otherwise it might have
- 26:38Speaker 2: been a staring contest for a while.
- 26:44Speaker 3: But that's hilarious.
- 26:46Speaker 2: So yeah, you know the idea Johnny Carson, it doesn't
- 26:49Speaker 2: exist in today's world. Like every comedian is partisan biased,
- 26:53Speaker 2: I'm late night comedians except for you. Your monologue is
- 26:56Speaker 2: like Johnny Carson, You'll make jokes about both sides.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Right, I'm going to get beat up for this one
- 27:01Speaker 4: because it's all over the map this week.
- 27:03Speaker 3: It's just a lot of things that happened.
- 27:06Speaker 4: But no, but the point is, if you're really doing
- 27:09Speaker 4: your job, whether you're a comic, you're a singer, you're
- 27:11Speaker 4: a ballplayer in those fields, we are giving people common culture.
- 27:16Speaker 4: That's always been the job description. Common culture just means
- 27:20Speaker 4: everybody does this thing. You know, listen to music, laugh
- 27:24Speaker 4: at jokes, you know, watch a ball game, and that's
- 27:27Speaker 4: what you're supposed to do. The minute you start catering
- 27:30Speaker 4: to any ideology like exclusively, then you you're not. It's
- 27:34Speaker 4: not common culture. It's you know, it's it's exclusive. And
- 27:37Speaker 4: so I look at the show like an homage. You know,
- 27:41Speaker 4: I'm literally doing this show like I'm trying to honor
- 27:45Speaker 4: what I grew up watching. And it's a good compass
- 27:48Speaker 4: for me because you don't catch yourself saying things.
- 27:51Speaker 3: That you don't mean, you know, to try to play caid.
- 27:53Speaker 4: An audience, and more importantly, you don't limit yourself by
- 27:57Speaker 4: taking targets off the table like I make I want
- 28:00Speaker 4: to Trump a lot and he likes it. He tweets
- 28:02Speaker 4: about it because I'm.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Not doing it in a malicious way. But like if
- 28:05Speaker 3: you were to think about the last four or five
- 28:07Speaker 3: years of Late.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Night, because those guys wouldn't go after liberals, think of
- 28:12Speaker 4: all the Biden jokes their audience missed out on, Like
- 28:15Speaker 4: imagine you know this, Okay, Chevy Chase probably fell down
- 28:20Speaker 4: the stairs as Gerald Ford for ten years on Saturday
- 28:23Speaker 4: Night Live, and.
- 28:24Speaker 3: That was one incident.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Okay, Joe Biden gave us about sixty five thousand of
- 28:29Speaker 4: those incidents and he wasn't getting touched. And you realize that,
- 28:34Speaker 4: you know, that hurts those shows because there are jokes
- 28:37Speaker 4: to be told that are funny. They don't have to
- 28:39Speaker 4: be malicious. You can't look at it as a comic.
- 28:41Speaker 4: Is is this joke going to help a political party
- 28:44Speaker 4: or hurt them? You just gotta look at it as
- 28:45Speaker 4: if it's funny.
- 28:46Speaker 6: You know.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, wasn't it great that Mick Jagger came out
- 28:49Speaker 2: and said, Bruce Springsteen's got to stop lecturing the audience
- 28:52Speaker 2: about politics. They're there to have fun. But wasn't it great?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Oh?
- 28:57Speaker 4: I thought that was so amazing because he is the
- 29:01Speaker 4: ranking statesman in music, you know, he is. You know,
- 29:05Speaker 4: you'd say, you know, McCartney's up there, but it's in
- 29:07Speaker 4: any order. It's McCartney and Mick Jagger. And you almost
- 29:11Speaker 4: have to give it a Mick Jagger because that he
- 29:13Speaker 4: looks good.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Man, he is eighty. I was watching an interview, dude,
- 29:17Speaker 3: he is.
- 29:18Speaker 4: You know, it's funny. You know what makes me think?
- 29:20Speaker 4: You know, like I grew up in the eighties, Nancy
- 29:22Speaker 4: Reagan used to say, you know, just say no.
- 29:24Speaker 3: But based on how good.
- 29:25Speaker 4: The Stones look, maybe she should have said just say yes.
- 29:27Speaker 4: I don't know, because they were. They were doing all
- 29:30Speaker 4: kinds of fun stuff in the eighties. Marks the moment.
- 29:33Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I disagree with you. I think Micjagger is great, but
- 29:38Speaker 2: McCartney ranks above them.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Sea No, that's fair.
- 29:41Speaker 4: I mean I could say you could you could tell
- 29:43Speaker 4: me they're in any order. I think the Beatles are
- 29:45Speaker 4: their superior band. But the Stones are touring like right now.
- 29:50Speaker 4: You know, you know, they put out another album. You
- 29:53Speaker 4: know they've adjusted for their age. I believe Start Me
- 29:55Speaker 4: Up is now called help Me Up.
- 29:57Speaker 3: But that's okay.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Well, every band is just fighting and fighting. They can't
- 30:04Speaker 2: they can't talk because they're all fighting. What about the Stones.
- 30:06Speaker 2: I think nobody's ever left the band. It's amazing.
- 30:10Speaker 4: That is crazy, But it's you know, back to the
- 30:13Speaker 4: thing about the music. If the focus is on the music,
- 30:17Speaker 4: you can keep a band together. Once you become a
- 30:20Speaker 4: pretend activist like Springsteen, you know, you're now focused on
- 30:24Speaker 4: things besides the music, and that definitely changes the dynamic
- 30:28Speaker 4: within a band. And so you know he's doing that, Bruce,
- 30:32Speaker 4: because there's relevance to be had from protesting, and he
- 30:35Speaker 4: clearly misses being in like the eye of that storm
- 30:38Speaker 4: and wants to fancy himself some kind of folk hero.
- 30:42Speaker 4: But you know this, like protest songs are a young
- 30:44Speaker 4: man's game, Like Bob Dylan was writing the greatest protest
- 30:46Speaker 4: songs of all time sixty years ago.
- 30:48Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like, that's the Bruce Springsteen thing is.
- 30:56Speaker 4: It's frustrating to watch because obviously he has a massive catalog,
- 31:00Speaker 4: he sells a gazillion ticket, but you're losing the spirit
- 31:03Speaker 4: of the thing. So I wish Bruce would stop standing up.
- 31:07Speaker 3: For people who weren't born in the USA.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Very good point. Hey, Jimmy faylo this shantytown on the
- 31:15Speaker 2: west side, twelve blocks long. This it looks like Los
- 31:19Speaker 2: Angeles started to look How bad is this?
- 31:21Speaker 3: Is?
- 31:21Speaker 2: Mayor Mount Donnie going to ever clean it up?
- 31:25Speaker 3: No?
- 31:26Speaker 4: In short, no, And that's actually the bad news because
- 31:30Speaker 4: winter is going to come eventually, and you're gonna have
- 31:33Speaker 4: last year. You know, Mom, Donnie killed so many people
- 31:36Speaker 4: last year during the blizzard that Disney did a remake
- 31:39Speaker 4: of Frozen.
- 31:40Speaker 3: You know, not good.
- 31:43Speaker 4: That's the thing like right now, you kind of tolerated
- 31:46Speaker 4: like they tolerated in LA because it's warm out all
- 31:48Speaker 4: year and because you know, in a lot of ways
- 31:50Speaker 4: that city has let itself go under one party rule.
- 31:53Speaker 4: What's amazing is Mom Donnie is accomplishing things in New
- 31:56Speaker 4: York that it took California like fifty years.
- 31:59Speaker 3: To a COmON. That is the scary part.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Like California always got a lot of homeless. They didn't
- 32:05Speaker 4: become ten cities till about ten years ago.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Mom, Donnie's like nine months into this thing, not even
- 32:11Speaker 3: he's like six months in. This is crazy.
- 32:13Speaker 4: We're gonna have a train to nowhere by this time
- 32:15Speaker 4: next year.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy fails every weeknight nine to midnight, nine to midnight.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Although tonight the President makes that speech about nine o'clock,
- 32:25Speaker 2: so you'll come on after that, and then what do
- 32:27Speaker 2: you have on the show tonight?
- 32:29Speaker 4: Oh, buckle up, man, because what because of the speech,
- 32:33Speaker 4: you know, there's a there's talk that it's going to
- 32:35Speaker 4: be about Georgia and the twenty twenty election. So they're
- 32:38Speaker 4: giving me like the whole Fox political team, which they
- 32:42Speaker 4: they never really do because my show is in like
- 32:44Speaker 4: super serious, like I make a lot of you don't
- 32:45Speaker 4: cover serious stuff, but it's kind of a loose show.
- 32:47Speaker 3: But I think.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Everybody who's doing primetime TV is available for us, so
- 32:52Speaker 4: like in and out of break So this is the closest.
- 32:55Speaker 4: I'll come to working on election night because.
- 32:57Speaker 3: They don't want me anywhere near the TV on a
- 32:59Speaker 3: serious night like that.
- 33:00Speaker 4: But I'll be there tonight, so'll get ready.
- 33:02Speaker 2: All right, So listen tonight we'll have the present speech
- 33:04Speaker 2: and then Jimmy Fayler right after that. Oh and he
- 33:07Speaker 2: does the best late night show on television Saturday nights
- 33:10Speaker 2: at ten. But they're taping one tonight at eight o'clock.
- 33:12Speaker 2: If you want to come spe in the audience, it's free.
- 33:15Speaker 2: You can get the tickets. Just go to foxacross America
- 33:19Speaker 2: dot com. Get the tickets for tonight eight o'clock. It's
- 33:22Speaker 2: free Fox America.

- 33:50Speaker 3: You're the best. Marks see buddy all.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Right, take care Hey, coming up at noon, Buck Sexton,
- 33:56Speaker 2: Clay Travis. That's a great show. You'll learn a lot
- 33:59Speaker 2: interesting show every day noon. Then at three o'clock we
- 34:02Speaker 2: got the most listened to radio show in America, Sean
- 34:06Speaker 2: Hannity at three, Jesse Kelly every night at six. Now tonight,
- 34:11Speaker 2: nine o'clock, the President's going to make that big speech,
