- 0:21Speaker 1: what's up? I can't do anything in this heat. Can't
- 0:23Speaker 1: get it done. Heat and hunger frustrate you? Heat? Yeah,
- 0:30Speaker 1: and hunger. Dare I use the eyeword irritate you?
- 0:36Speaker 2: I am very irritable when I'm hot, Isn't it true?
- 0:39Speaker 2: I'm very snappy when I'm hot.
- 0:41Speaker 3: There's a difference, Tanya, between being angry and being irritated. Yes,
- 0:48Speaker 3: I err on the irritated side, not the angers. I
- 0:50Speaker 3: don't get angry. Well, just's the point put irritation? Yeah, yeah,
- 0:57Speaker 3: See do you get angry or irritated.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Or high hybrid? Probably?
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't like to get definitely don't.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Like to get angry either. I think that that's just
- 1:08Speaker 5: not You need to like figure out how to like
- 1:10Speaker 5: control your emotions.
- 1:11Speaker 1: You shouldn't.
- 1:11Speaker 4: You didn't get so mad that you're like angry.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Or yelling, like when you yell at me? I think why, Well.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Yelling yelling sometimes gets confused with passion.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yes, fine line by me.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I hear it as yelling.
- 1:27Speaker 4: You yelled too, You're not this innocent non yeller over there.
- 1:30Speaker 1: My yell has no decibel.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Well it has a pitch though.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that pitch packs of punch.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Well we're midway through the week here,
- 1:41Speaker 1: one of the we do have that heat. We also
- 1:45Speaker 1: have back to school cash for you to win all morning.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So as we gather our thoughts and line up everything,
- 1:50Speaker 1: if there's anything you want, you need you want to hear,
- 1:52Speaker 1: call me eight hundred five to one to two seven.
- 1:55Speaker 1: We're here. I drop olive, you rod Rigo drop dead.
- 1:59Speaker 1: It's kiss FM, Sunshine and Hot. So Tanya share this
- 2:06Speaker 1: because it's a public service in a way that you
- 2:07Speaker 1: saw a tip on TikTok and it backfired on you.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I am like the queen of this. I am notorious
- 2:13Speaker 4: for this.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I am constantly like just sending people things that they
- 2:16Speaker 2: should be doing differently because I see these things on
- 2:19Speaker 2: TikTok and Instagram. So the last one I saw was
- 2:22Speaker 2: putting cinnamon in your trash cans keeps the bugs away.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I actually would think to myself, what's the downside?
- 2:29Speaker 6: Right?
- 2:30Speaker 2: I love the smell of cinnamon. So why not put
- 2:33Speaker 2: some in my trash can? Anyway, if it's going to
- 2:34Speaker 2: keep the bugs away, well.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It would suck the bugs in, but keep them away
- 2:38Speaker 1: from you.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Or No, it's supposed to repel the bugs to notes, correct,
- 2:45Speaker 2: but maybe they don't like it. No, I don't know
- 2:47Speaker 2: what bugs this TikTok was trying to get me rid of,
- 2:51Speaker 2: because it did not work at all, and I have more.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I have more bugs around my trash cans now than
- 2:57Speaker 2: I ever did before. We never had like a bug
- 2:59Speaker 2: problem with our trash. But I saw this tip and
- 3:00Speaker 2: I was like, of course, splash, splsh splish splash.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Did you over index on this cinnamon?
- 3:05Speaker 4: And was it a lot? And was it organic? No,
- 3:09Speaker 4: it wasn't.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Organic.
- 3:12Speaker 5: We would probably have bugs that like all organic stuff
- 3:14Speaker 5: here in La, just like you were bringing this up
- 3:16Speaker 5: the other day with like the it was like certain
- 3:19Speaker 5: types of animals and only like certain types of milk.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Well, I did put a cinnamon stick in there, which
- 3:23Speaker 2: I think maybe might have been too much.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Yeah, I think I did too much.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I just said that skunk's in La only like oats milk.
- 3:30Speaker 4: You go, I think I think you're onto something.
- 3:33Speaker 1: But you were speaking of the trash bin. Do you
- 3:36Speaker 1: ever think yourself, that's scented trash bag, That scented one
- 3:40Speaker 1: is kind of smells good. Yeah, I buy those like
- 3:43Speaker 1: I open up that trash bag sometimes and they wow,
- 3:46Speaker 1: if they made a cologne in this, No, not a
- 3:49Speaker 1: cologne or something. It's quite pleasant.
- 3:51Speaker 4: It's pleasant, but it reminds me of trash bags.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Well, you have to suspend disbelief there.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Sure, I think those probably at track bugs too.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Well. I don't know, but I like to smell Gracie
- 4:04Speaker 1: Abers tickets. It sold out. We got you next. Who
- 4:06Speaker 1: do you think is the best let me say best,
- 4:08Speaker 1: the most responsible driver here out of me? Sisany u
- 4:12Speaker 1: tanya to say, like, if you were to ride with someone,
- 4:15Speaker 1: who would you feel safest with?
- 4:17Speaker 4: I feel like you're responsible Ryan, thank you.
- 4:21Speaker 5: I'd say myself, Wow, you wouldn't even pick one of ums,
- 4:25Speaker 5: so I'd liked.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I think I'm I drop like a grandma.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Wow, that's insulting to grandma's.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I think it's great. I like the way.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I don't know it sound like an insult, Yeah, exactly, Okay,
- 4:35Speaker 1: So I am. I'm actually a pretty good parallel parker,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but I'm so tight to the curb that often I'll
- 4:43Speaker 1: scratch the rims. It's the worst because I have I
- 4:48Speaker 1: hold my I scratch and then I go okay, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: I say a bad word, and then I hold my
- 4:52Speaker 1: breath and I walk around the car to see how
- 4:54Speaker 1: bad this scratch is. How deep is that scratch? Is
- 4:57Speaker 1: it bufferble or not buffer ble? Now generally not buffable? Sisney,
- 5:03Speaker 1: what did you do? You ran into something? You chopped
- 5:05Speaker 1: your mirror off?
- 5:07Speaker 5: Basically, I was on Laurel Canyon and you know, it's
- 5:10Speaker 5: basically one lane and then it turns into two lanes,
- 5:12Speaker 5: maybe right before Molholland. I was coming from West Hollywood
- 5:15Speaker 5: coming back into the valley, and I switched lanes to
- 5:19Speaker 5: essentially past cars, and I got too close to the
- 5:22Speaker 5: to the wall to the wall of fcuses on Laurel Canyon.
- 5:25Speaker 1: And the fus is knocked off your side.
- 5:27Speaker 4: A branch or something.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's not cars, there's no cars there. A
- 5:32Speaker 5: branch knocks it out. And sometimes I've done this where
- 5:34Speaker 5: I've hit things and my mirror just pops in, like
- 5:36Speaker 5: because they're movable and so, but it popped in. Then
- 5:40Speaker 5: I just see the mirror dangling like the whole thing busted.
- 5:43Speaker 4: I had to get it fixed.
- 5:45Speaker 1: It is so sad to see a dangling side mirror
- 5:48Speaker 1: like a old dead sunflower just boom. I know.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Yeah, I was like the beauty and the beasts rose
- 5:54Speaker 5: like when it's like dying like that.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Well, if that's the I don't know whose tree it is,
- 5:59Speaker 1: but we needed to talk to something about trimming that
- 6:01Speaker 1: taken outside of.
- 6:02Speaker 4: The mirror tree's fault.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Yeahs the tree.
- 6:06Speaker 4: I didn't even think about that.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, see whose tree that was? It was
- 6:10Speaker 1: a public service, right, it could be a public.
- 6:13Speaker 5: And then what I missed was this little disc that
- 6:15Speaker 5: I guess is like the most important part to connect
- 6:17Speaker 5: the mirror back in. And if I would have had
- 6:18Speaker 5: that little disc, it would have just snapped right back in.
- 6:21Speaker 5: But I had to buy a whole new mirror because
- 6:23Speaker 5: I didn't have it. I thought about going back to
- 6:25Speaker 5: Laurel Canyon and like searching searching for it, but there's
- 6:28Speaker 5: nowhere to walk, like it's dangerous.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Hmm, well I would not drive with you. I guess
- 6:33Speaker 1: that's the answer to the question I asked earlier. Coming up.
- 6:37Speaker 1: If you're thinking of asking for a raise, you'll get
- 6:40Speaker 1: a yes. Most likely to get a yes, I should
- 6:42Speaker 1: say on this day, just if I've got a quote
- 6:44Speaker 1: of the day in a second, and if you're asking
- 6:46Speaker 1: for a raise, Statistically, you're more likely to get a
- 6:48Speaker 1: yes today. On a Wednesday. By midweek, bosses have caught
- 6:55Speaker 1: up on other weekend backlogs. They haven't checked out for
- 6:58Speaker 1: the weekend yet. For very hard worker with the bosses
- 7:01Speaker 1: right the backlog and then the checking out, they check
- 7:03Speaker 1: out on Thursday in their head. But if you get
- 7:05Speaker 1: them Wednesday, they're going to be focused and fresh. It's
- 7:08Speaker 1: not a bad tip. It actually kind of makes sense
- 7:09Speaker 1: today's quote of the day. Having notifications on just gives
- 7:14Speaker 1: authors control of your time. Seven o'clock Mikayla has a
- 7:20Speaker 1: debate for us, should you go on a nice date
- 7:25Speaker 1: for a first date? What do you mean by a
- 7:27Speaker 1: nice date versus what I.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Mean, like a fancy dinner with like at a restaurant
- 7:33Speaker 6: instead of something like describing coffee or drinks.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Are you asking like what people's preference would be?
- 7:39Speaker 6: Yeah, because I had a debate with this with my
- 7:41Speaker 6: friends because some like it a nice date, like to
- 7:44Speaker 6: be taken out to dinner, and I for a first date,
- 7:47Speaker 6: think that you should just have drinks or a coffee.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Oh okay, let's come back to that. Let's go sis
- 7:53Speaker 1: any what do you have with the headliness FM headlines
- 7:55Speaker 1: with sisiny Well.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Governor Gavin Newsom announced small business affected by the Lineage
- 8:01Speaker 7: warehouse fire in Boyle Heights may apply for low interest
- 8:05Speaker 7: federal disaster loans. Mayor Karen Bass and council member Nitthia
- 8:10Speaker 7: Rahman will face off tonight at seven in their first
- 8:13Speaker 7: of eight since advancing to the November runoff election. The
- 8:17Speaker 7: long abandoned Hawthorn Plaza finally coming down. Yeah, after a
- 8:21Speaker 7: court ordered the owners to demolish them all. That's been
- 8:24Speaker 7: empty since.
- 8:25Speaker 8: Nineteen ninety nine and twelve new signs have been added
- 8:30Speaker 8: around Tianna's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland, warning guests that they
- 8:33Speaker 8: will be removed from the park if they stand up
- 8:37Speaker 8: on the ride.
- 8:39Speaker 1: All right, let's get to this, Mikaela. So it's interesting
- 8:41Speaker 1: I'm pondering this question you brought up at the top
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the hour. When you're going on a first date.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Should it be a nice pretty date or a nice chill, comfortable,
- 8:54Speaker 1: low key date. You had this de big with your friends.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Where did you guys net out.
- 8:58Speaker 4: We're just divided.
- 9:00Speaker 6: I prefer a more casual date because I feel like,
- 9:03Speaker 6: if I'm going on a fancy dinner date, like I,
- 9:05Speaker 6: the pressure is on, and what if I don't, like,
- 9:10Speaker 6: I don't know how the meal's going to sit with me?
- 9:12Speaker 6: You know. My friend said that she went.
- 9:14Speaker 1: On problems don't pick the beans.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Well, if they picked the restaurant, and then I'm like, oh,
- 9:21Speaker 6: like I'm nervous on like, you know, I don't know.
- 9:23Speaker 5: So don't you want to get dressed up and taken
- 9:25Speaker 5: out wind and dine.
- 9:27Speaker 6: That could be like a third date. I mean, I'll
- 9:28Speaker 6: still dress up for the first date, but I think
- 9:30Speaker 6: it's wrong. And friends, well, my friend went on a
- 9:34Speaker 6: first date with a guy and she didn't even eat
- 9:37Speaker 6: her meal at all, and he was like, oh, are
- 9:38Speaker 6: you not hungry? And she's like, oh no, I was.
- 9:40Speaker 6: I was just she was nervous, so she didn't even
- 9:42Speaker 6: eat the first time.
- 9:44Speaker 5: She was like, next time, I don't have a drink
- 9:48Speaker 5: up a little exactly.
- 9:49Speaker 6: But also talking, you're already eating, they're talking getting to
- 9:53Speaker 6: know each other, so I feel like that's another What.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Were they having ribs?
- 9:57Speaker 1: It was an Italian restaurant shrimp where you gonna peel
- 10:01Speaker 1: him yourself, right, exactly, peel your own crawfish. So I
- 10:06Speaker 1: think you're looking at it this wrong. Once again, everybody's
- 10:10Speaker 1: too rigid out there trying to date. Too rigid. You
- 10:13Speaker 1: need to look at it like this. Both work. Yeah,
- 10:17Speaker 1: guy wants to take you on a nice, beautiful evening.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I wants to spend some money on you, get things
- 10:22Speaker 1: you can't pronounce, and buy you flowers. Yes, guy wants
- 10:27Speaker 1: to take you to a coffee bar, roll out to
- 10:30Speaker 1: a park and break out some homemade pastries as a
- 10:34Speaker 1: cute little gesture. Thoughtful.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yes, well that's cute.
- 10:38Speaker 7: Yes, I know that when you want to sell the
- 10:40Speaker 7: extras though, but if it's just coffee or it's just drinks,
- 10:43Speaker 7: that's kind of meant.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Because the guy who's just getting coffee and bringing you
- 10:46Speaker 2: the pastries is doing it with five ten, fifteen whoever,
- 10:49Speaker 2: however women he's dating.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Cynicism. I'm talking about that thoughtfulness. Guy gets you coffee,
- 10:55Speaker 1: but thoughtfully he's baked you banana bread and he whips
- 10:58Speaker 1: that out of a brown bag in wax paper, sitting
- 11:01Speaker 1: on a park bench.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I like this guy, and needed it with Sarah and
- 11:04Speaker 2: Susan and Molly, and I don't.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Know that time. I'll put my sister's name in that.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Sorry anyway, I just tend to look at things now
- 11:15Speaker 1: in life not so rigidly.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Yes and yes, glass half full, I say no one, yes,
- 11:22Speaker 5: I say yes yes.
- 11:27Speaker 1: All right, ton, let's get to the bottom of this
- 11:28Speaker 1: trending report so Sissy and I can try to figure
- 11:30Speaker 1: out what it is worth trying to talk about. Here
- 11:32Speaker 1: go away.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:33Speaker 2: So this is really big in the social media influencer world,
- 11:36Speaker 2: and these are the players.
- 11:38Speaker 4: So influencer Brielle Beerman.
- 11:40Speaker 2: She also if you watch The Real Housewives, she is
- 11:42Speaker 2: Kim Zolciak's daughter okay. And Bridget Feelong, so she is
- 11:47Speaker 2: a massive social media following under the name Acquired Style.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Okay, so those are the two players in this game.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Bridget got married in a very specific vera wang dropwaist
- 11:57Speaker 2: ball gown the very next day, okay, the next day,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and this wedding was like very all eyes on this wedding.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Brielle posted a photo of herself trying on the exact
- 12:10Speaker 2: same dress with the caption the dress I almost said
- 12:14Speaker 2: yes too.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:16Speaker 2: People immediately assumed that Brielle was shading Bridget's dress, and
- 12:19Speaker 2: the comments got very ugly. Brielle responded, posting receipts proving
- 12:23Speaker 2: that the video is actually filmed the day before the wedding,
- 12:26Speaker 2: before her dress even hit the internet. But here, I
- 12:30Speaker 2: am thinking, if you saw the dress, and you saw
- 12:33Speaker 2: that this girl just got married in this wedding dress,
- 12:36Speaker 2: why would you post this is the dress that you
- 12:39Speaker 2: almost said yes to.
- 12:41Speaker 4: It's not nice.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Comparison is the thief of joy. So it's like if Ryan.
- 12:47Speaker 2: It's like if you got married, okay, and you are
- 12:52Speaker 2: thanks for fine, and you are a very specific tux okay,
- 12:57Speaker 2: and you posted pictures and the very next day Carson
- 13:00Speaker 2: Daly gets married.
- 13:02Speaker 1: He's already married.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Just I'm playing this out so that you can understand.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Okay, Carson Daly ride that we both timed our marriage.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You're not.
- 13:11Speaker 4: I agree with this, exam.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I said, this is awesome. I would love for that
- 13:16Speaker 1: time out. So here, I just want to say that
- 13:19Speaker 1: weddings are supposed to be about love, not an Olympic
- 13:24Speaker 1: social competition. They're not. They have become that and they
- 13:27Speaker 1: shouldn't be. Do they follow the plot?
- 13:30Speaker 4: They're all in that social media influencer world like, yes,
- 13:34Speaker 4: they're all. Are they in the city together that show?
- 13:37Speaker 4: No they're not.
- 13:39Speaker 1: That's what It's a good question. Yeah, here's it's funny.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I'm actually asking brides are competing with that. Here's what
- 13:47Speaker 1: guys think about at their wedding. I'm gonna tell you
- 13:49Speaker 1: what we think about. Was it fun? Listen it Like
- 13:53Speaker 1: all we want to do is say, bro, my wedding
- 13:56Speaker 1: was more fun than yours. Not. I don't care what
- 13:58Speaker 1: I wore. I don't really care what weight. But bro,
- 14:01Speaker 1: you remember dude, you remember his wedding? That was fun. Bro,
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's a badge of honor when a dude gets married.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Was it fun?
- 14:09Speaker 5: That's all Travis Kelcey said last week when he finally
- 14:11Speaker 5: spoke about their wedding.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that was fun.
- 14:14Speaker 4: It's the best.
- 14:15Speaker 1: That's because we care about time. Did you have the
- 14:18Speaker 1: most fun you've ever had in a wedding?
- 14:20Speaker 9: Up?
- 14:20Speaker 5: Bro?
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Really, I said, give me more.
- 14:24Speaker 1: That's all we care about.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Was it fun? You're so different?

- 16:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know how I feel about this, but yes,
- 17:01Speaker 4: that's true.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I've thought, all right, Ronnie's been out, he's been working
- 17:05Speaker 1: on the digital I was a digital content going here.
- 17:07Speaker 11: Ron I got some ideas. Oh really, you have to
- 17:10Speaker 11: share them with me because I would love them. I
- 17:11Speaker 11: love getting new ideas. But it's been going pretty good,
- 17:14Speaker 11: if I do say so myself.
- 17:15Speaker 1: All right, good now, Ronnie was also out giving away
- 17:18Speaker 1: free gas. How was that first time giving away free
- 17:19Speaker 1: gas all over southern California.
- 17:21Speaker 11: For us, it was a lot of fun. It made
- 17:22Speaker 11: me really nervous because I think people were just scared
- 17:25Speaker 11: of me, even though like I'm not a scary person.
- 17:27Speaker 11: I think they were just scared of like someone approaching them.
- 17:31Speaker 4: But get it, talk to anybody.
- 17:34Speaker 11: Yeah, So it was fun. It was very like fulfilling
- 17:36Speaker 11: giving people free guests. They were really happy. The ones
- 17:38Speaker 11: I did except it, but it made me nervous. So
- 17:42Speaker 11: Ronnie's come in today. He was on the other day
- 17:44Speaker 11: talking about how he had no ideas dry or had
- 17:46Speaker 11: a link trap for years until his mom mentioned it
- 17:49Speaker 11: to him. Now, I understand you're learning what rent is. Well,
- 17:56Speaker 11: see the way you phrase it's funny. I don't want
- 17:57Speaker 11: you guys to think I'm crazy, Like I knew you
- 18:00Speaker 11: had something. I knew you had to pay rent. But
- 18:02Speaker 11: my problem is if I'm not there, I don't want
- 18:05Speaker 11: to pay rent, like if I'm on vacation. I don't
- 18:08Speaker 11: feel like you should be paying when you're not there.
- 18:10Speaker 11: That's what I feel. Who you voiced this to your landlord, Well, basically,
- 18:17Speaker 11: so I feel like when you see I'm leaving with
- 18:20Speaker 11: my suitcase I should not have to pay for the
- 18:22Speaker 11: time I'm not there because I'm not physically there. And yes,
- 18:25Speaker 11: my stuff is there, but like materials can't pay rent.
- 18:29Speaker 11: So that's why I feel like you don't have to
- 18:31Speaker 11: pay rent when you are not physically there.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I want to say to you, Ronnie, I am clear
- 18:36Speaker 1: on your approach. I have no questions or ambiguity about
- 18:39Speaker 1: what you're saying. However, you can't rent a place and
- 18:48Speaker 1: then leave and expect the landlord to rent it out
- 18:52Speaker 1: to other people that you would know. How would you
- 18:54Speaker 1: feel about that a stranger's in your cocoon with your stuff.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I mean you're saying, hey, I'm going to pay, so
- 19:00Speaker 1: you can just put anybody in my home.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Yeah, you can use my towels.
- 19:03Speaker 11: Well, honestly I wouldn't mind, But like if I could
- 19:06Speaker 11: lock my stuff up, okay, it'll be fine. But I
- 19:08Speaker 11: feel like in airbnb, you're just paying for when you're there.
- 19:12Speaker 11: That's well, there are situations. Check your lease agreement. You
- 19:16Speaker 11: may be able to sub lease your apartment when you're away.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Can you do that?
- 19:20Speaker 11: I don't know because I didn't read it when I
- 19:23Speaker 11: signed myself up. I just showed up and moved in.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I will say, though I'm with you on the I
- 19:29Speaker 2: always get so mad that they charge the same amount
- 19:32Speaker 2: for February as they do for every other month. I'm like,
- 19:35Speaker 2: it's not the same amount of days cheaper in February.
- 19:39Speaker 11: I agree. And also, so my landlord like, he lets
- 19:42Speaker 11: you pay up until like four days, so you know,
- 19:45Speaker 11: Rensu on the first, he'll allow you until the fourth
- 19:48Speaker 11: to pay. So what I do is I wait until
- 19:50Speaker 11: the fourth and hopes that he cancels my rent for
- 19:53Speaker 11: the month. Yet no, but it's like wishful thinking.
- 19:59Speaker 1: But can you It's like, could you not rent the
- 20:01Speaker 1: place out to I don't know, Ruby in the back
- 20:04Speaker 1: room on the days you're going to be away and
- 20:05Speaker 1: not tell your landlord.
- 20:07Speaker 11: I could Ruby grow if you want to come on over.
- 20:09Speaker 11: I guess I could do that. But they don't have
- 20:11Speaker 11: to like leave my key Bob. And it's like a
- 20:13Speaker 11: whole thing.
- 20:14Speaker 1: You know what he's gonna learn next Foxes, He's gonna yes, yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 1: he earned a full dollar, but he didn't get all
- 20:21Speaker 1: of it. That's that's the next Ronnie discovery. I like
- 20:24Speaker 1: it Ronnie's discoveries. I think your landlord sounds pretty cool.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I wouldn't push your luck.
- 20:30Speaker 4: We're just gonna airbnb. No, that's kind of way more expensive.
- 20:34Speaker 11: Yeah, I did look into that. Yeah, and I have
- 20:37Speaker 11: a lot of clothes. It's like I need somewhere to
- 20:39Speaker 11: house my clothes, and then that's my only problem.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Have you seen the closets here? We got kiss closets everywhere.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, the one right by the portal.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Your clothes have a quarter of everyone else's clothes to them,
- 20:49Speaker 1: so there's not much space that you need.
- 20:51Speaker 11: They are very small.
- 20:52Speaker 1: All right, Ronnie stand by. He's got digital stuff to
- 20:55Speaker 1: get to everything you see on our social Ronnie's behind that.
- 20:58Speaker 1: So guests consume to Universals Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses
- 21:04Speaker 1: with the lights on? What do you have for a
- 21:06Speaker 1: system that sideline?
- 21:07Speaker 5: Specifically, these are the mazes. It's Sinners and it's Kill
- 21:12Speaker 5: Snera like Kiena but kill Signena music by Slash. The
- 21:18Speaker 5: tour is an add on experience and not only are
- 21:21Speaker 5: you torn in with the lights on, but you got
- 21:23Speaker 5: to pay extra money on top of the ticket that
- 21:25Speaker 5: you already paid to get into Universal Studios Halloween Horror
- 21:29Speaker 5: Nights to go through these two mazes with the lights on.
- 21:32Speaker 5: They're saying that it's a behind the scenes experience. So
- 21:36Speaker 5: it also like if you don't like to get jump
- 21:38Speaker 5: scared and like you know, it's too dark, you don't
- 21:40Speaker 5: get to appreciate like everything that's in these mazes. So
- 21:43Speaker 5: with the lights on, they'll let you take pictures and
- 21:45Speaker 5: it's almost like a backstage tour.
- 21:49Speaker 1: So the question is how do you feel about it?
- 21:52Speaker 1: I think that they're smart. They're appealing to two audiences,
- 21:55Speaker 1: the audience that wants to be afraid and the audience
- 21:58Speaker 1: that doesn't. I don't, but I do not want to
- 22:02Speaker 1: miss out, So I actually wouldn't mind seeing. And also
- 22:06Speaker 1: I think it's very cool to see how the sausage
- 22:08Speaker 1: is made. It's like it's like seeing backstage of something
- 22:12Speaker 1: that is normally dark and scary. I don't mind it.
- 22:15Speaker 5: I think it takes away from the whole reason why
- 22:17Speaker 5: we're there. We're there because it's horror nights. Like I
- 22:21Speaker 5: think you want to be scared, you're pain to be scared.
- 22:23Speaker 5: I love the thrill of that.
- 22:25Speaker 4: I don't like the thrill of that.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I don't either, but I still don't want to be
- 22:28Speaker 1: left out. Yeah, now I'm not left out. We get
- 22:31Speaker 1: to go with you, but we don't have to have
- 22:32Speaker 1: that toxic feeling of horror.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Yes and the yeah, what about just like the elements
- 22:37Speaker 5: around you when you're not in that feelings, Like when
- 22:39Speaker 5: you're not in that maze, they have the scared people
- 22:41Speaker 5: walking around and scaring.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You're in a agree to Bart's Simpson donut and chill. Yeah,
- 22:45Speaker 1: have you seen a size that thing? I know it
- 22:48Speaker 1: took me too halloweens to get that pink frosting O
- 22:51Speaker 1: Grace abramsticks are next on Kiss It's Kiss. Lauren on
- 22:54Speaker 1: the phone here eight hundred and five to one to
- 22:56Speaker 1: two seven in Encino. Hey Lauren, good morning morning. So
- 23:01Speaker 1: call screen here, says Lauren, calling that my brother used
- 23:04Speaker 1: my wedding ring as inspiration. What happened.
- 23:08Speaker 10: My brother's about to propose to his girlfriend and he
- 23:11Speaker 10: showed me the engagement ring he's planning to give her,
- 23:13Speaker 10: and as soon as I saw it, I was like,
- 23:16Speaker 10: that is my ring. Mine is like a super super
- 23:20Speaker 10: unique setting east West Paar shape.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 23:22Speaker 10: Anyone else who has that ring.
- 23:24Speaker 1: And my brother.
- 23:25Speaker 10: Goes, yeah, I know, I was inspired by yours, which
- 23:27Speaker 10: is sweet, except I'm imagining my future sister in law
- 23:30Speaker 10: wearing the same ring as mine, and I do not
- 23:32Speaker 10: want that.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It's a little cra It's not the same. It's inspired
- 23:35Speaker 1: me everything. Every movie, every sing every idea is inspired
- 23:39Speaker 1: by something.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Ryan. That setting is so unique.
- 23:42Speaker 7: That diamond I don't know about that.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Well you should learn.
- 23:51Speaker 10: Hair shape is to west come one.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Sorry, but can inspire diamond? Ring not change in its evolution,
- 23:59Speaker 1: so it doesn't look the same, but it's inspired by
- 24:02Speaker 1: it's different.
- 24:03Speaker 5: If she had a round solitaire and then the sister
- 24:07Speaker 5: lets me have a round solitaire. I'm just saying like
- 24:09Speaker 5: that is like so common that it's like, okay, whatever,
- 24:12Speaker 5: There's lots of people that have that. But this setting
- 24:14Speaker 5: is so specific that yeah, like she was probably Lauren
- 24:16Speaker 5: and excited to have this.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Unique ring, and now every family get together you'll have
- 24:21Speaker 4: the same ring.
- 24:22Speaker 1: But can you not then say to your brother, hey, brother, no, Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 10: I asked him if he would change the setting. But
- 24:29Speaker 10: I don't know if that's like overstepping my.
- 24:32Speaker 1: My boundaries, the boundaries he crossed one already in your mind.
- 24:36Speaker 4: He didn't mean to, He didn't mean.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Maybe he doesn't know, that's the thing, Tanya. Maybe he
- 24:42Speaker 1: needs to be educated. I would be. I wouldn't know,
- 24:44Speaker 1: I think.
- 24:45Speaker 2: And that's what the approach you should take Lauren is
- 24:47Speaker 2: that I don't know what her name is, but say
- 24:49Speaker 2: she doesn't want to have the same ring as me.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Everybody's gonna say, oh, that looks like Lauren's ring.
- 24:54Speaker 4: I don't want that for your future. That's a good approach.
- 24:57Speaker 1: And weddings are such a competitive sport these days.
- 25:00Speaker 3: It's too much yes, yes, thank you very much, congratulations.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you, bye bye. Said no, it needs
- 25:09Speaker 1: to be told like I go, oh, okay, my bad.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Right, like your rings so pretty? I want Yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest, five hundred bucks in back
- 25:21Speaker 1: to school cash coming up. All right, thanks for hangling us.
- 25:24Speaker 1: So everybody, Jojo, Gabby, Ronnie headed out. It is a
- 25:28Speaker 1: kiss field trip tomorrow night. So if you are in Ontario,
- 25:34Speaker 1: the gang is rolling out food at the Ontario Tower
- 25:37Speaker 1: Buzzers game. I want to talk about that in a second,
- 25:39Speaker 1: but Sistney, what's happening.
- 25:40Speaker 5: Yeah, So we were invited by Gabby. Gabby is the
- 25:43Speaker 5: host of the Ontario Tower Buzzers and I never been
- 25:48Speaker 5: out there. I've never actually experienced Minor League baseball. So
- 25:51Speaker 5: I think this is kind of cool for first time
- 25:52Speaker 5: for all of us to go, and she invited us,
- 25:54Speaker 5: and we're all.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Going very exciting. Now I'm just looking at the menu
- 25:59Speaker 1: the food at the Ontario Tower Buzzers game. You are, well,
- 26:02Speaker 1: why not ball game? Food's fun?
- 26:04Speaker 4: I want to know.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Buffalo loaded chicken fries, Asian fusion bowel, tacos and buns yum,
- 26:13Speaker 1: Mediterranean skewers and sliders, okay, or shot to ice cream?
- 26:17Speaker 1: What do you like?
- 26:18Speaker 5: I like all of them, and let's just share because
- 26:20Speaker 5: I want a little piece of every single.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I want to you. I think small tasting everything in
- 26:24Speaker 1: small bites. I don't eat all of it right exactly?
- 26:27Speaker 1: Party bus headed out? What time for the ten Freeway?
- 26:30Speaker 5: I think one or two just because of traffic, it's
- 26:32Speaker 5: gonna take a minute to get out there.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Who's gonna be on the air, That's a good question.
- 26:35Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I see JoJo's going, uh oh oh. They didn't think
- 26:39Speaker 1: of that.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Well, you know the technology we can be.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Anywhere broadcasting from the bus.
- 26:44Speaker 4: You really can these days. You can broadcast from your iPhone.
- 26:47Speaker 1: It's why people is going to be out there all right, well,
- 26:49Speaker 1: let's know what goes in wait to go, Gabby. Congratulations
- 26:51Speaker 1: Gabby on the side hustle there a single, a affiliate
- 26:55Speaker 1: of the Dodgers. It's kiss all right today, this weren't
- 27:02Speaker 1: fast already at almost ten o'clock. Good morning, thanks for
- 27:05Speaker 1: being here. Mayan Sisanty Tanya got the back room or intern.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Bella at USC brought up something in the post show meeting,
- 27:11Speaker 1: and everybody had an opinion. I had not thought about
- 27:13Speaker 1: this thoroughly, but everyone has sort of an owned opinion
- 27:16Speaker 1: about this. And you brought up something about souvenirs. Bella.
- 27:21Speaker 9: Yes, So, growing up, my parents always bought magnets from
- 27:24Speaker 9: wherever we traveled, and so when I traveled here for
- 27:27Speaker 9: my first time, I was really confused on like which
- 27:30Speaker 9: souvenir I wanted, Like I got magnets, I got pins.
- 27:33Speaker 9: And then it made me like think about how people
- 27:35Speaker 9: might have a different souvenir that they get when they travel.
- 27:39Speaker 1: It's a great thing, souvenirs, the memories. Forget the picture.
- 27:43Speaker 1: It's so easy taking a picture in your phone. You're
- 27:46Speaker 1: e're gonna find it right, and you take eighteen of
- 27:48Speaker 1: the same shot, So forget it. What is a physical
- 27:52Speaker 1: souvenir that you looked for or that you keep right.
- 27:57Speaker 1: My parents used to bring back postcards. They didn't mail them,
- 27:59Speaker 1: they bring them back.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Oh that's cute, that's nice.
- 28:02Speaker 1: And they chose a picture of where they went while
- 28:04Speaker 1: we stayed with Missus Briggs, the babysitter.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Their marriage does Missus Briggs nineties at least ninety?
- 28:14Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 28:17Speaker 1: She was not the best driver, but she would take
- 28:20Speaker 1: us for fried chicken and sweetened lemonade in Atlanta. That
- 28:24Speaker 1: was our big treat, while they would go to Florida
- 28:29Speaker 1: raging in Panama City. I love it anyway, what kind
- 28:33Speaker 1: of souvenir? I'll tell you what I collect?
- 28:34Speaker 4: What do you collect?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Souvenirs? When I travel a menu, I take the menu?
- 28:40Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you do? Do that? Can you take the menu?
- 28:42Speaker 4: Or do take the menu?
- 28:45Speaker 1: It's not usually the leather bound menu, but there's extra
- 28:47Speaker 1: menus have to go menus. Yeah, but I like to
- 28:50Speaker 1: take the menu because the menu reminds me of the place,
- 28:54Speaker 1: the conversation. It inspires a lot of good dialogue, and
- 28:57Speaker 1: that's the souvenir I take. What about you?
- 28:59Speaker 5: Sisn't it to collect little bowls like like ceramic bowls
- 29:04Speaker 5: that you can use for like soy sauce later or
- 29:06Speaker 5: if you're putting out your spices when you're cooking. And
- 29:09Speaker 5: all of them have usually like the name of the
- 29:11Speaker 5: place that I visited.
- 29:12Speaker 1: That's cool, it's cutter.
- 29:14Speaker 4: But I don't have that many. But they're easy to pack.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I think that causes me anxiety. Yeah, to pack just no, no,
- 29:21Speaker 1: to have a bunch of little bowls.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Oh really, I don't have them like all lined up.
- 29:26Speaker 5: They just like you stack a few and then in
- 29:28Speaker 5: your corner.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Anyway, Tony, what is your souvenir?
- 29:32Speaker 4: So we kind of go the food route.
- 29:34Speaker 2: We find like the traditional candy or cookie or something
- 29:37Speaker 2: that's like specific to wherever we are, and it's like good, cute,
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yes to pack.
- 29:43Speaker 4: You don't have to worry about Its.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Interesting how we really take a lot of pride and
- 29:49Speaker 1: feel good souvenir hunting. Yeah, well, thank you for this
- 29:53Speaker 1: walk down memory lane. All right, all right, gonna wrap
- 29:57Speaker 1: it up for us, Siciny, it takes you for another
- 29:59Speaker 1: hour tomorrow to Ryan's roses, be here for it. Have
- 30:02Speaker 1: a great day.
- 30:03Speaker 10: Kiss.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make
- 30:07Speaker 1: sure to subscribe it and We'll talk to you again tomorrow.
