Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Nobody, and I do mean nobody does it like your
- 0:03Speaker 1: early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie and it's
- 0:06Speaker 1: time right now for today's word. God at work in
- 0:12Speaker 1: the unfinished places. God at work in the unfinished places.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Jeremiah thirty two seventeen says, ah.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Lord, God, behold.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You have made the heavens and the earth by your
- 0:26Speaker 1: great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard
- 0:31Speaker 1: for you. You know, it's easy to trust God when
- 0:34Speaker 1: everything is orderly, predictable, and going according to plan. But
- 0:39Speaker 1: what about the messy places? You know, the seasons that
- 0:43Speaker 1: feel confusing, uncomfortable, or even disappointing, Those moments when life
- 0:48Speaker 1: doesn't look polished or put together, when you're dealing with
- 0:51Speaker 1: weaknesses you thought you'd already overcome, or consequences.
- 0:55Speaker 2: From decisions you wish you could undo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: It's in those times that the enemy tries to whisper
- 1:01Speaker 1: this is where it all fell apart. God can't use
- 1:05Speaker 1: you all. But Jeremiah reminds us who God is. He
- 1:09Speaker 1: is the one who made the heavens and the earth
- 1:12Speaker 1: by his great power. He set galaxies in place, designed
- 1:16Speaker 1: every detail of creation, and holds it all together.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Do you really think the.
- 1:22Speaker 1: God who keeps the universe in perfect order is gonna
- 1:25Speaker 1: lose control of your life. Do you think a setback,
- 1:29Speaker 1: a delay, or a messy chapter in your life caught
- 1:33Speaker 1: him by surprise.
- 1:35Speaker 2: No, it didn't.
- 1:38Speaker 1: God never panics or gets upset over unfinished places. He
- 1:44Speaker 1: already factored them into his plan when he wrote your story.
- 1:48Speaker 1: He accounted for the wrong terms, the growing pains, the
- 1:51Speaker 1: moments of doubt, and even the mistakes. None of it
- 1:55Speaker 1: disqualifies you. None of it cancels his promises. You may
- 1:59Speaker 1: feel like you're life is under construction, but that doesn't
- 2:02Speaker 1: mean something is wrong. It means God is still working.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Some of the greatest growth happens in the mess. It's
- 2:11Speaker 1: there that humility is formed, faith is strengthened, and dependence
- 2:16Speaker 1: on God deepens. In those places, you learn that it's
- 2:21Speaker 1: not your perfection that sustains you, but it's God's grace.
- 2:26Speaker 1: What feels like a detour to you may actually be
- 2:29Speaker 1: a necessary part of the preparation. Don't judge your destiny
- 2:34Speaker 1: by your current condition. Just because because things look unfinished
- 2:40Speaker 1: doesn't mean they'll stay that way.
- 2:41Speaker 2: God is a finisher.
- 2:43Speaker 1: He doesn't abandon what he starts, and he doesn't walk
- 2:46Speaker 1: away when things get complicated. The same power that created
- 2:50Speaker 1: the universe is at work in you, shaping, refining, and
- 2:54Speaker 1: positioning you for what's ahead. Trust him even in the
- 2:58Speaker 1: messy places. He's not done yet. He's at work in
- 3:02Speaker 1: the unfinished places. Father, Thank you that nothing in our
- 3:08Speaker 1: lives is too hard for you, not the mistakes, not
- 3:10Speaker 1: the delays, not the messy places. Thank you that you're
- 3:13Speaker 1: still working, still shaping, and still building.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Something beautiful inside of us.
- 3:18Speaker 1: God, we trust you to finish what you start in
- 3:20Speaker 1: our lives in Jesus' name.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Hey, now that's your work for today.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I want you to take that, apply that to your
- 3:27Speaker 1: everyday life, and you continue to be encouraged in inspired.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It is your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie.
