Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Drama, darling Drama, darling Drama, darling.
- 0:20Speaker 2: It's Friday. Yes, we made it. So happy to be
- 0:24Speaker 2: here with Deanna Chang. Deanna, are you ready to recap
- 0:27Speaker 2: some Orange County with me?
- 0:29Speaker 3: I sure am, Amy. Amy Rose Phillips, I sure am.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Thank you so much. You know, if you see me
- 0:37Speaker 2: moving my head swiftly around, it just means that there
- 0:41Speaker 2: is a fly in my home.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Oh, nothing worse.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Oh, and they're coming in. They just, they're like waiting outside.
- 0:49Speaker 2: You know, because here's the thing. I'm cooking up some
- 0:52Speaker 2: gorgeous meals over here. I'm not going to lie. You know,
- 0:54Speaker 2: I try to. I try to make at least, this
- 0:57Speaker 2: is going to sound like nothing to you guys, but
- 1:00Speaker 2: I try to make a good two meals a week
- 1:02Speaker 2: that are, like, decent. And then the others are, like,
- 1:06Speaker 2: hot dogs and mac and cheese, like, orange chicken from Costco. Oh, yeah. Like,
- 1:12Speaker 2: it's done.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Already. You know what I mean? But so last night,
- 1:18Speaker 2: I made what I like to call chicken and rice slop.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I just named my things that are, they don't sound appealing.
- 1:24Speaker 2: But and last week, I had turkey noodle surprise. But
- 1:28Speaker 2: it's good, you know. So it was in the Instapot.
- 1:33Speaker 2: And it really the aroma is delightful. And it's, you know,
- 1:37Speaker 2: it lingers. So if I have the door open, you know,
- 1:41Speaker 2: The aroma. And I don't know. Do flies have noses?
- 1:44Speaker 2: But they must because they know where the food is.
- 1:47Speaker 3: They seem to.
- 1:49Speaker 2: They seem to know, whatever the case. And so this
- 1:52Speaker 2: motherfucker got in here last night. And I haven't been
- 1:56Speaker 2: able to catch him.
- 1:56Speaker 3: You know, it's sometimes really hard.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Thank you, Deanna. It's sometimes hard.
- 2:01Speaker 3: And there's nothing... No, and especially when you're podcasting. Like,
- 2:05Speaker 3: I had a fly in here a few months ago.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And....
- 2:11Speaker 3: You know, it was making its way across the screen,
- 2:14Speaker 3: and there's just, you can't focus on anything else. You're like,
- 2:17Speaker 3: I feel like I'm in, you know, a pig pen.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Thank you. And I have flies about.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Thank you. Welcome to Pig Pen Studios. Yeah, I sat down,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and before I connected with you, it was like, you know,
- 2:29Speaker 2: zing around me. I'm like, are you kidding me? Like,
- 2:32Speaker 2: it's in the office? What are you doing? You don't
- 2:35Speaker 2: come in here. Trying to get air time.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I was trying to get air time, right? He
- 2:41Speaker 2: wants to recap. It has a, you know what it is?
- 2:44Speaker 2: It's like they're drawn, the flies are drawn to Orange
- 2:48Speaker 2: County because it's such trash right now. It's feeding off
- 2:54Speaker 2: of the bad.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Listen, I mean, look, we're going to talk about it.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Okay, good.
- 3:02Speaker 2: But I really do, you know, I have dish to
- 3:05Speaker 2: serve up, but I'm not even going to do the
- 3:07Speaker 2: serving dish. Music, because it's dark. I just opened up
- 3:12Speaker 2: Instagram and it says, this is an exclusive. It's a
- 3:15Speaker 2: TMZ exclusive. And it says, Brittany Cartwright claims Jax Taylor
- 3:20Speaker 2: physically attacked her. And this is what it says in
- 3:24Speaker 2: the headline. Said he's gonna gut me like a fish.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Oh.
- 3:29Speaker 2: This is so disturbing. This is what the rest of
- 3:32Speaker 2: the article says. Brittany Cartwright is going after Jax Taylor's
- 3:36Speaker 2: in their divorce case, filing a domestic violence temporary restraining order.
- 3:40Speaker 2: in which she claims Jax threatened to gut her like
- 3:43Speaker 2: a fucking fish and physically attacked her, according to new
- 3:46Speaker 2: court documents. The restraining order obtained by TMZ was filed
- 3:50Speaker 2: Thursday in L.A. Superior Court and granted by a judge
- 3:53Speaker 2: who ordered Jax to stay 100 yards away from Brittany.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Brittany also requested sole custody of their five-year-old son, Cruz,
- 3:59Speaker 2: but the judge denied the request pending a court hearing.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Brittany claims Jax threatened to kill her and said that
- 4:06Speaker 2: while physically attacking her and throwing furniture at her, causing
- 4:09Speaker 2: her to suffer injuries. Oh, this is when... See, we
- 4:13Speaker 2: heard about this.
- 4:13Speaker 3: The PR person was there, right? This is the... Is
- 4:16Speaker 3: this the moment that the PR person witnessed?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Oh. The PR person that he's with right now would be.
- 4:24Speaker 3: She said she saw... Brittany said she saw... The PR
- 4:28Speaker 3: person witnessed him throw something at her.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I don't know if it.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I think it was furniture.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It also says Jax also allegedly broke three of her iPhones,
- 4:38Speaker 2: one iPad, and destroyed other property at their home. Well,
- 4:41Speaker 2: that doesn't surprise me one bit. This is so gross.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I don't know about the witness. I... Certainly hope that
- 4:48Speaker 2: if the PR person that he is with right now
- 4:50Speaker 2: did not witness this and then chose to be with him,
- 4:53Speaker 2: that's even more disturbing. But even still, she probably knew
- 4:56Speaker 2: about this anyway, right? Of course.
- 4:58Speaker 3: We know about it. She knew about it. She was
- 5:00Speaker 3: on the ground floor, you know?
- 5:02Speaker 2: Thank you. So this is what's surprising is why is
- 5:05Speaker 2: she getting a restraining order now and asking for sole
- 5:08Speaker 2: custody now? I do feel like before she wasn't going
- 5:12Speaker 2: to ask for sole custody because... She wanted Jax to
- 5:16Speaker 2: have 50-50 custody, I believe. But now, her bringing this
- 5:22Speaker 2: up in court, something else must have happened.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I mean, well, he's with the PR person, so that
- 5:27Speaker 3: did happen.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Oh. Oh?
- 5:30Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Oh.
- 5:32Speaker 3: That could be the catalyst. Or it's just, I mean,
- 5:35Speaker 3: who knows what his time with their son has been
- 5:39Speaker 3: when he does have their son. That could be going wrong.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. Very disturbing news for a Friday. Horrible. But also,
- 5:48Speaker 2: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is coming back on
- 5:51Speaker 2: September 10th on Hulu. So that is announced. My God.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's right down, right around the corner. It is. It
- 6:00Speaker 2: looks like pretty much all the same people, which I'm
- 6:02Speaker 2: kind of shocked about.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Couldn't know. They all look the same. So you can't
- 6:07Speaker 3: know at a quick glance.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 6:09Speaker 3: It's not possible.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I mean, look at this. This is Bravo by Gay's.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Look at all of them. I mean, they all look
- 6:15Speaker 2: the same. And I see Whitney. It's truly hard. And
- 6:19Speaker 2: I didn't know she... I thought she wasn't coming back.
- 6:22Speaker 2: I just thought, like, everybody on here I thought wasn't
- 6:25Speaker 2: coming back, which is so funny to me. That's funny.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Except maybe Jessie. Like, I knew Jessie was going to
- 6:31Speaker 2: come back. All right. Well, let's get into some Orange County.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Wow. You know... We're going to– I don't know how
- 6:46Speaker 2: to do this. Like, let's see. I was thinking about, like,
- 6:49Speaker 2: should we play a game where we do this thing
- 6:53Speaker 2: where it's like, you know what I liked about this episode?
- 6:57Speaker 2: You know, what I loved about this episode was, you know,
- 7:00Speaker 2: it's kind of like when you're in marriage counseling and
- 7:03Speaker 2: you have to, like, dig deep. Yeah. You have to
- 7:10Speaker 2: appreciate the other person and, like, the things that they do.
- 7:13Speaker 2: And by the way, I have not been in marriage counseling.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Not that I don't need it, but, like.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah, same. It'd be great.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 2: But haven't done it, but it's like you want to
- 7:24Speaker 2: look at the pros as opposed to the cons. So
- 7:27Speaker 2: I think, you know, we're having some marital difficulties with
- 7:32Speaker 2: Orange County right now, Deanna. I think you would feel
- 7:34Speaker 2: the same, yes?
- 7:36Speaker 3: I mean, for sure. You know, Victoria... Victoria. Victoria is difficult.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I love that Emily calls her Victoria. There you go.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Well, okay. There you have it. Yes. That's lovely.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Good.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Put one up on the pro list.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I'm putting it up there. Go ahead.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Listen, it's just hard because as we've said, you know, listen,
- 8:00Speaker 3: they are a mere decade above us, the older gals,
- 8:03Speaker 3: the older set, the Shannon and the Victorias.
- 8:08Speaker 2: The senior class, as it were.
- 8:09Speaker 3: The senior class. And, like, you don't want to say
- 8:11Speaker 3: to yourself, like, I don't want to say something and
- 8:15Speaker 3: then be in that boat 10 years from now and
- 8:18Speaker 3: be like, well, remember what you said. Remember what you said.
- 8:21Speaker 2: You know? Well, we will be in that boat, but
- 8:25Speaker 2: it's okay. Right. Someone will say about us.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I want to have more just core strength and just overall, like,
- 8:37Speaker 3: you know. And I feel I'm watching people wobble around.
- 8:45Speaker 3: And I don't like it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Well, when you see more than one knee brace, it's concerning.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Because I'm like, wait, she has a knee brace? Oh,
- 8:56Speaker 2: I thought she had the knee brace. Oh, we have
- 8:58Speaker 2: multiple knee braces. What happened to Emily's knee? I didn't
- 9:03Speaker 2: see that last week. I don't know.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I don't really know what happened to her knee.
- 9:07Speaker 2: You don't know either? No. Oh, my God. I just
- 9:11Speaker 2: assumed it happened when I was looking the other way.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And I thought, oh, Deanna might know.
- 9:16Speaker 3: No, I don't got it. I don't have it. I'm
- 9:19Speaker 3: assuming it was a workout. She overworked out on it.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, 100%. Yeah, she probably overworked it. But for
- 9:30Speaker 2: her to have like real open wounds at this IV
- 9:33Speaker 2: place with her knee perched up like that, to not
- 9:36Speaker 2: acknowledge even just like, How's the healing process going over there?
- 9:41Speaker 2: I see you're all, you know, you're not even scabbed
- 9:44Speaker 2: up yet. Is everything okay? And then to have another
- 9:49Speaker 2: knee break, it's just like, it's just hard. And for
- 9:54Speaker 2: Emily to have a wound is like outside of the
- 9:57Speaker 2: scope of who should always, which is like... Vicki and Shannon,
- 10:01Speaker 2: you know? I mean, they're the ones falling about. I mean,
- 10:05Speaker 2: there was a moment in this episode where Shannon accidentally
- 10:10Speaker 2: hit Vicki. Yeah. Where that was actually a believable misunderstanding. Right.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Where most of the time. I love when they have
- 10:21Speaker 2: physical misunderstandings.
- 10:27Speaker 3: So bleak. How are you doing with Vicki on the show?
- 10:32Speaker 3: I just, in general, how are you doing with her?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing. If she wasn't there, this would
- 10:37Speaker 2: be probably worse. So I have to say, I am
- 10:42Speaker 2: enjoying Vicki being around. I do love Vicki. I love Victoria.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I do enjoy her talking about Kodo. Look, hand to God,
- 10:54Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Okay. I will never take away her zest for life insurance.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I won't.
- 11:03Speaker 3: I can't. You know, we got to tip the hat
- 11:06Speaker 3: to that.
- 11:07Speaker 2: So that being said.
- 11:09Speaker 3: With that said, you know, I'm finding her to be
- 11:15Speaker 3: just pent up. Everything feels very tight.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Very tight.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Nothing is loosened. Everything's really tight. I'm finding her, every
- 11:26Speaker 3: interaction just to be, like there's, there's, I enjoy when
- 11:31Speaker 3: Vicky's like has her moments and then, and then we
- 11:34Speaker 3: settle in back into.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Woohoo. Yeah.
- 11:38Speaker 3: And I just, the woohoo is just missing and I'm.
- 11:42Speaker 2: She left it in Puerto Vallarta. It's gone. Like she
- 11:45Speaker 2: leaves it down there now. At her other house. She
- 11:48Speaker 2: leaves it down there. Mm-hmm.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Shit, she leaves it down there.
- 11:52Speaker 2: She leaves her woohoo down there.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Could we have sent a PA to pick it up
- 11:56Speaker 3: or something?
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah, or like a travel size woohoo. Anything.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Right, just a little dose of it, you know, just
- 12:02Speaker 3: a shot of it because.
- 12:05Speaker 2: God, she really. And Emily called out. Mm-hmm. Emily's like,
- 12:10Speaker 2: you know, Vicki, you're not, you're not fun. You're not fun.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And I mean, she has a point. So it's like,
- 12:16Speaker 2: She needs to loosen up. I think Emily's point is
- 12:19Speaker 2: like what you bring to the show, not just Kodo,
- 12:24Speaker 2: but you bring the woohoo. So if you're coming back
- 12:28Speaker 2: to the show for the 20th, you better bring 20
- 12:32Speaker 2: woohoos at the very least. And the woohoo quota, the
- 12:38Speaker 2: woohoo count is low. Low. Low.
- 12:42Speaker 3: And like, you know, it has me thinking things I
- 12:45Speaker 3: shouldn't be thinking during the episode.
- 12:47Speaker 2: Are you having intrusive thoughts, Deanna? What are your intrusive
- 12:50Speaker 2: thoughts about Orange County? Let's go.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Where I'm going is like, hey, listen, Andy, you know,
- 12:56Speaker 3: we can't just pluck people back out and in necessarily. Like,
- 13:01Speaker 3: I understand that intellectually this felt good, but she did
- 13:05Speaker 3: warn you. She's in a different place. She doesn't know
- 13:08Speaker 3: if this is right for her. Yes, in a big,
- 13:10Speaker 3: giant group of people. At BravoCon, you hand her the peach.
- 13:14Speaker 3: She said yes.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Peach. She's going to Atlanta.
- 13:18Speaker 3: What does she have, an orange?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Orange.
- 13:21Speaker 3: She said yes.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Put her on Atlanta, actually. That would be pretty fun.
- 13:26Speaker 3: She needs Atlanta. She does. She won't be able to
- 13:31Speaker 3: pull the same stuff. I just think she's mentally not there.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Her leaving... To go to her birthday, I mean, when,
- 13:46Speaker 3: see this, I never have her name.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Carmella?
- 13:49Speaker 3: No.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Oh, Gina. Not Emily, but Gina. Gina.
- 13:53Speaker 3: When Gina, this is blaming, I've been watching her for
- 13:56Speaker 3: half my life and I don't have it. When Gina said.
- 13:59Speaker 2: You don't want it, so. Yeah, she just said like-
- 14:02Speaker 2: We all know that.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I don't even know where I am. We drove so far,
- 14:07Speaker 3: I don't know where I am at this house, but-
- 14:10Speaker 3: But you're going, taking off to go to La Quinta. Like,
- 14:14Speaker 3: we've only been here a few hours. I mean, it's just.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Bold. Yeah, she left real early.
- 14:20Speaker 3: We're watching her on Ultimate Girls Trip with the laptop
- 14:24Speaker 3: in the sprinter van. And we're watching her leave filming
- 14:28Speaker 3: to go to La Quinta. And it's like, on one hand,
- 14:32Speaker 3: I'm going, you have earned the right in your life.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:36Speaker 3: You've worked your ass off. You should be where you
- 14:39Speaker 3: want to be. I actually do think that. That said,
- 14:43Speaker 3: this is our program. And you've signed on to it,
- 14:48Speaker 3: you know? And so it's giving, I don't want to
- 14:52Speaker 3: be here. And that's not good for us.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Do you think that when Andy handed her that orange,
- 14:58Speaker 2: she was like, oh my God, I didn't want to
- 15:00Speaker 2: come back. I'm in retirement and I'm enjoying my life.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Do you think deep down she actually didn't want to
- 15:05Speaker 2: come back?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yes. I don't think it was deep down. I think
- 15:08Speaker 3: she had that conversation with production. I've heard her say it.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I don't know, guys. I'm not sure.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Because the way that she presents herself a lot of
- 15:20Speaker 2: the time on Watch What Happens Live or wherever, she
- 15:26Speaker 2: does make asides and jokes to, well, that's before you
- 15:29Speaker 2: fired me. That's a long time ago. So I think
- 15:34Speaker 2: maybe she was upset when she was let go back then. Yes.
- 15:40Speaker 2: But now she doesn't want it like she used to.
- 15:44Speaker 2: And so it's like too little, too late. Too late. Oh,
- 15:48Speaker 2: my God. They want me back. Now I have to
- 15:51Speaker 2: do this. So that's why it's so... premeditated and put
- 15:57Speaker 2: on and why she's just leaning into the Victoria so hard.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Is that what we're dealing with?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Yeah, because she bought a house. She's bought two houses.
- 16:07Speaker 3: She has a life that she's curated when this went away.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I also think it's very difficult for her to be
- 16:16Speaker 3: around younger women. I don't think Victoria does well with that,
- 16:19Speaker 3: knowing that she's going to be judged against them. Just,
- 16:22Speaker 3: you know, because that's what the show, you know what
- 16:24Speaker 3: I mean? That's just part of it. Like, I think
- 16:26Speaker 3: it's just it doesn't it doesn't bring out the best
- 16:29Speaker 3: in her.
- 16:30Speaker 2: When this season is over, if she doesn't come back
- 16:34Speaker 2: next year, then I will truly believe that she didn't
- 16:38Speaker 2: ever want to come back this year.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Do you think she wants to be there? Genuinely?
- 16:43Speaker 2: For the money?
- 16:44Speaker 3: Yes.
- 16:45Speaker 2: For the money.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Okay, but put the money to the side.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Okay, put the money to the side because she likes
- 16:52Speaker 2: to work. So of course, this is great for her business.
- 16:55Speaker 2: This is great for her. That aspect of it, I
- 16:57Speaker 2: do really think that she likes that. But deep down,
- 17:02Speaker 2: what she really wants is to be married or have
- 17:05Speaker 2: her partner and be getting her love tank filled. And
- 17:10Speaker 2: we hear about how she's working all the time still.
- 17:14Speaker 2: she does a podcast sometimes still. She seems to want
- 17:18Speaker 2: to have a forward-facing persona. Maybe when she was served
- 17:25Speaker 2: up that orange and she was like, oh my God,
- 17:27Speaker 2: and she's like holding it so dearly, she was like,
- 17:29Speaker 2: oh shit, oh shit.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I think you said it. I think it's a little
- 17:33Speaker 3: too late. It is hitting her ego. That feels really good.
- 17:39Speaker 3: To be wanted feels really good. To be, you know,
- 17:44Speaker 3: giving her this moment on a huge platform stage with
- 17:48Speaker 3: everyone watching who's part of the universe feels really good.
- 17:52Speaker 3: But she has set up her life so she can
- 17:55Speaker 3: sit at the beach. She can go to La Quinta.
- 17:58Speaker 3: She can do her work remotely. She's not here. She's
- 18:05Speaker 3: not in this game.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Well, what's disappointing is Why don't we have them all
- 18:10Speaker 2: go to La Quinta to her place? Like, let's live
- 18:14Speaker 2: the retired life. Let's go where Vicky's going. Let's go
- 18:17Speaker 2: down to Puerto Vallarta again.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Again?
- 18:20Speaker 3: Let's keep going. I don't know. I want to keep
- 18:24Speaker 3: going there. I want to see her doing her.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Right.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Because we don't have much going on to begin with.
- 18:32Speaker 3: And so at least we could just be... checking out Vicky's,
- 18:38Speaker 3: you know, where Vicky's at.
- 18:42Speaker 2: That pool party with no pool. I mean, it was
- 18:46Speaker 2: a fashion show without any fashions. I didn't see a pool.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I didn't even know it was a pool party until
- 18:51Speaker 2: I remembered that they were at a pool party because
- 18:53Speaker 2: of the way they were kind of dressed like a
- 18:55Speaker 2: pool party. And that upsets me. That bothers me. You know,
- 19:00Speaker 2: don't tell me Don't piss on my leg and tell
- 19:04Speaker 2: me it's raining. Like, get in the pool. Somebody put
- 19:06Speaker 2: their fucking feet.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Wait, are you talking about Carmela's house?
- 19:07Speaker 2: Yes. There was a pool.
- 19:10Speaker 3: There definitely was a pool.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I believe it. Okay. I believe in it like I
- 19:15Speaker 2: believe in the Easter Bunny. But, like, someone put their
- 19:22Speaker 2: fucking feet in the pool. Someone get on a goddamn raft. okay?
- 19:28Speaker 2: Put the water toys in and let's go. I mean,
- 19:30Speaker 2: to have these stupid conversations on these ridiculous... Wait a minute. Sorry.
- 19:38Speaker 2: You know what I love? I love that there was
- 19:43Speaker 2: a pool there. And I would have loved if they
- 19:47Speaker 2: got their asses off of the lounges and gone for
- 19:52Speaker 2: a swim.
- 19:53Speaker 3: For a dip.
- 19:55Speaker 2: And talked. We're not Beverly Hills, you know? You're Orange County.
- 20:01Speaker 2: You can get your extensions wet.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Thank you. Thank you.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Yes.
- 20:07Speaker 3: I think that would have added... Some jovialness to the afternoon.
- 20:12Speaker 3: A little fun.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Right? It was a weird get-together. Wasn't it weird?
- 20:21Speaker 3: What was making me laugh? And I don't know how
- 20:23Speaker 3: you felt.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Did you love this part?
- 20:26Speaker 3: What?
- 20:26Speaker 2: Did you love this part that you're going to talk about?
- 20:28Speaker 3: I loved this part.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Okay. This part I loved.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Gosh, did I love meeting Carmela's mate.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Meeting?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Who talked.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You've never seen him before? We've never seen him before.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yes, we have.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Oh, okay. I might have missed that episode.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:48Speaker 2: That's so funny. I was like, well, they're meeting them.
- 20:51Speaker 2: And I'm like, wait, did you not ever see?
- 20:53Speaker 3: But I do mean they're meeting him. I do mean
- 20:56Speaker 3: that because they're meeting him for the first time. And.
- 21:00Speaker 3: It's just making me laugh. And I may have missed
- 21:03Speaker 3: meeting him before. I think he was like in the
- 21:05Speaker 3: kitchen walking around. But I don't feel like I really
- 21:07Speaker 3: dropped into him.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Sure, yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 3: But I really was centered to the fact that he's
- 21:11Speaker 3: a cheater. He has hurt this Carmella. Meanwhile, he seems
- 21:17Speaker 3: like such an easygoing, goofy guy. And it was hard
- 21:22Speaker 3: to square. I'm like, yeah, we're mad at you, Jolly
- 21:26Speaker 3: Green Giant. You know, like he just was– Like so easy, breezy, goofy,
- 21:33Speaker 3: you know. And I just was like, this is making
- 21:37Speaker 3: me laugh. Like this is the big, this is who
- 21:40Speaker 3: we're upset about. It's hard to, like Gina's ex-husband, no problem,
- 21:44Speaker 3: you know. This guy is just not, you know, Shannon's ex-husband,
- 21:49Speaker 3: no problem. This guy's not eliciting that for me.
- 21:53Speaker 2: No.
- 21:53Speaker 3: And it was just funny.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Walking in. in the most non-threatening way you know he
- 22:01Speaker 2: probably wanted to get in the pool if anything and
- 22:05Speaker 2: he's just coming over and he's like hey you know
- 22:08Speaker 2: I'm just a guy who's just couldn't keep his dick
- 22:11Speaker 2: in his pants and I yeah I'm trying to work
- 22:14Speaker 2: my way back hello hello ladies hello and they couldn't
- 22:19Speaker 2: deny it's Captain Sandy again she shows up somebody say
- 22:26Speaker 2: water toys Yeah.
- 22:29Speaker 3: They needed water toys, by the way, yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Everything. I mean, water toys make everything better. And I'm
- 22:34Speaker 2: sure Danny would have been happy to blow them up
- 22:36Speaker 2: and get them out of that laz and just get
- 22:38Speaker 2: them going, you know? Mm-hmm. But he greeted them and...
- 22:44Speaker 2: And Gina's just like, oh, when did you cheat on
- 22:47Speaker 2: your girl? I mean, she didn't say that. But, like,
- 22:50Speaker 2: you know that they're all trying that and sort of
- 22:52Speaker 2: deflecting away from the awkwardness. And Emily's just like, oh,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you know, we won't bite. And I don't know who
- 22:58Speaker 2: the hell else was there. But it was very awkward.
- 23:01Speaker 2: But you're right. It was so interesting to see as
- 23:05Speaker 2: much as we've talked about it. And she doesn't know
- 23:07Speaker 2: if she can move on from this. She's really mad
- 23:09Speaker 2: at him. I mean, I think.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:12Speaker 2: She has an interesting way, Carmela, that is, of expressing
- 23:16Speaker 2: her emotions without any of the emotions. Do you know
- 23:20Speaker 2: what I mean? Like, you know what I love? Yeah.
- 23:23Speaker 2: What I love about housewives sometimes is that they, I
- 23:26Speaker 2: love when housewives express emotions, but you can't see it
- 23:31Speaker 2: on their face and also hear it in their voice
- 23:33Speaker 2: or in their body language. And so that's sort of like,
- 23:37Speaker 2: I'm so angry and I don't know, I'm like really
- 23:39Speaker 2: mad about And I'm not sure, like, what I'm going
- 23:43Speaker 2: to do.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Right. Right. You know, and she just seems like so
- 23:52Speaker 3: much more dynamic than him.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Because you were really all about him a second ago.
- 24:01Speaker 3: What's the word? I mean, maybe more like. If anyone's
- 24:08Speaker 3: going to cheat, it's going to be her. That's what I,
- 24:10Speaker 3: the vibe, just if I'm looking at them, you know.
- 24:13Speaker 2: You're looking at them.
- 24:14Speaker 3: If I'm looking at them.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Pool outfit, yeah. Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 3: It just, I don't know. I mean, I also, what
- 24:21Speaker 3: I didn't, I can't put in, I can't put in
- 24:24Speaker 3: the love column. I got to put in the not
- 24:26Speaker 3: love column on this one.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 24:28Speaker 2: In this counseling.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Are we there in this session of counseling?
- 24:31Speaker 2: We are. We've had enough pros. Let's go over the cons.
- 24:33Speaker 2: It's okay. It's a safe space. Okay. Guys, can I
- 24:39Speaker 2: tell you about one of those products that completely surprised me?
- 24:43Speaker 2: I never thought I'd get excited about a body lotion.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I mean, I've always had lotions sitting on my bathroom counter,
- 24:49Speaker 2: in my car, in my purse, but they were just lotion.
- 24:52Speaker 2: You put them on, they do their job, and you
- 24:55Speaker 2: move on with your day. Then I tried the Oak
- 24:58Speaker 2: Essentials Luminous Body Lotion. And I finally understood why people
- 25:02Speaker 2: talk about turning everyday routines into little rituals. I get
- 25:06Speaker 2: it now. The first thing I noticed was the scent.
- 25:09Speaker 2: It's clean, soft. It's like spa-like. Just chill, you know?
- 25:14Speaker 2: It's not overpowering. And it stays with you throughout the day,
- 25:18Speaker 2: but not in an overpowering way. I've actually caught myself thinking,
- 25:22Speaker 2: who smells so good in this room? Oh, that's me.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And then there's the way it feels. And it's rich
- 25:27Speaker 2: and luxurious. And you know I love luxury. but somehow
- 25:31Speaker 2: it's lightweight and it absorbs beautifully. It never feels greasy
- 25:34Speaker 2: or sticky and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. Taking
- 25:38Speaker 2: two minutes after my shower to put it on has
- 25:40Speaker 2: become something I genuinely look forward to doing. It makes
- 25:42Speaker 2: me feel like I have my life together, even on
- 25:45Speaker 2: the days when I absolutely do not. I also love
- 25:48Speaker 2: that the beautiful blue color comes from Blue Tansy, an
- 25:51Speaker 2: antioxidant-rich botanical that helps support your skin's moisture barrier and
- 25:56Speaker 2: calm sensitivity. Yeah, you can believe I'll be talking about
- 25:59Speaker 2: blue tansy around cocktail parties. Oak Essentials was founded by
- 26:04Speaker 2: Jenny Kane. And if you're familiar with her world, you
- 26:07Speaker 2: immediately understand the brand. Everything feels effortless, elevated, and beautifully simple.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Once I fell in love with a luminous body lotion,
- 26:14Speaker 2: I started exploring the rest of the Oak Essentials line
- 26:17Speaker 2: because the whole brand has that same clean spa-inspired philosophy.
- 26:21Speaker 2: And their products are formulated to strict EU and UK
- 26:25Speaker 2: standards without phthalates, sulfates, petroleum, parabens, or other unnecessary additives.
- 26:30Speaker 2: And you can really feel the quality. Darling, the Luminous
- 26:33Speaker 2: Body Lotion has sold out multiple times, and once you
- 26:36Speaker 2: try it, you'll understand why. So head to oakessentials.com and
- 26:40Speaker 2: use code DRAMA for 15% off your first order at checkout.
- 26:43Speaker 2: That's 15% off your order at oakessentials.com with promo code DRAMA.
- 26:50Speaker 2: After you purchase, they'll ask you where you heard about them.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Please support Drama Darling and let them know that I
- 26:54Speaker 2: sent you. So here's the thing. My morning coffee is
- 26:57Speaker 2: absolutely non-negotiable. But lately, I've realized it's also the easiest
- 27:01Speaker 2: time to sneak in something that's actually good for me.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I'm tricking myself because, let's be honest, nobody warns you
- 27:07Speaker 2: that somewhere along the way, your body starts sending you
- 27:10Speaker 2: little messages. And your skin isn't quite as glowy. Your
- 27:13Speaker 2: hair and nails are no longer strong. They're just breaking
- 27:17Speaker 2: and bendy. And your joints are cracking. And they have
- 27:19Speaker 2: opinions every time you stand up. It's really rude. So
- 27:23Speaker 2: I learned something I wish I'd known years ago. Our
- 27:26Speaker 2: bodies actually start producing less collagen in our mid-20s. Now,
- 27:31Speaker 2: that was a long time ago. But collagen is basically
- 27:34Speaker 2: the glue that supports your skin, hair, nails, and joints.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Pretty much everything. That's why I've become obsessed with Bubz
- 27:42Speaker 2: Natural Collagen Peptides. Every morning, I add one scoop to
- 27:46Speaker 2: my coffee, and that's it. It dissolves completely. No weird taste,
- 27:50Speaker 2: no clumps, no sugar, no fillers. Honestly, if I didn't
- 27:53Speaker 2: put it in myself, I wouldn't even know it was there.
- 27:56Speaker 2: And since I started taking Bubz, I've noticed... My skin
- 27:59Speaker 2: feels healthier and has more of that natural glow I
- 28:02Speaker 2: was missing. My hair and nails feel stronger, and I
- 28:05Speaker 2: love knowing I'm giving my body the collagen it needs
- 28:08Speaker 2: instead of just hoping for the best. What also sets
- 28:10Speaker 2: Bubz apart is how clean it is. It's sustainably sourced
- 28:14Speaker 2: from grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle, third-party tested, and made with ingredients
- 28:19Speaker 2: you can actually trust. They also make hydrate-or-die electrolytes, MCT
- 28:23Speaker 2: oil creamers, and creatine if you're looking for other ways
- 28:26Speaker 2: to support your health. And one of my favorite things
- 28:28Speaker 2: about the company is that Bubz donates 10% of all
- 28:31Speaker 2: profits to charity in honor of Navy SEAL Glenn Bub Doherty.
- 28:36Speaker 2: And you're all set. Oh, and after you purchase, they'll
- 28:56Speaker 2: ask where you heard about them. So please, support Drama
- 28:58Speaker 2: Darling and let them know I sent you. Let's talk
- 29:00Speaker 2: about my razor journey. I did not expect to become
- 29:03Speaker 2: this excited about a razor, but Flamingo has completely upgraded
- 29:07Speaker 2: my shaving routine. Thanks, Flamingo. Such a cute name. Anyway,
- 29:11Speaker 2: I've used plenty of women's razors that felt flimsy, overpriced,
- 29:15Speaker 2: and somehow made something as basic as shaving feel like
- 29:19Speaker 2: a chore. I mean, it doesn't have to be that complicated.
- 29:21Speaker 2: You're trying to have a nice little everything shower, and
- 29:24Speaker 2: instead you're dealing with missed spots, redness, a razor that
- 29:27Speaker 2: feels like it's actively working against you. It's just, it's
- 29:30Speaker 2: too much. I don't need drama in my shower. I
- 29:33Speaker 2: just need it on TV, you know? Flamingo is different
- 29:36Speaker 2: because it was created with women's bodies actually in mind.
- 29:39Speaker 2: The women who helped build Harry's were tired of companies
- 29:42Speaker 2: simply shrinking a men's razor, making it pink, and charging
- 29:46Speaker 2: women more for it. So they created something thoughtful, comfortable,
- 29:51Speaker 2: and high-performing without the ridiculous pink tacks. The first thing
- 29:55Speaker 2: I noticed was how substantial the Flamingo original razor feels
- 29:58Speaker 2: in my hand. It has a weighted ergonomic handle, five
- 30:02Speaker 2: sharp blades, and a flexible hinge that moves with all
- 30:05Speaker 2: your curves instead of fighting them. The shave feels close, smooth,
- 30:09Speaker 2: and gentle, and my skin feels like I actually took
- 30:12Speaker 2: care of it. And their starter set is such a
- 30:14Speaker 2: good deal. You get the Flamingo Original Razor, a five-blade cartridge,
- 30:18Speaker 2: foaming shave gel, and a shower holder for only $ 7
- 30:23Speaker 2: with free shipping. Again, for a limited time, my listeners
- 30:26Speaker 2: get Flamingo's starter set for only $ 7 at shopflamingo.com slash drama.
- 30:33Speaker 2: I love that foaming shave gel. It gives you this soft, pillowy, cushiony,
- 30:37Speaker 2: between your skin and the razor. And I love that
- 30:39Speaker 2: the shower holder keeps everything right where I need it.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Flamingo also makes a facial dermaplane razor. If you're not dermaplaning,
- 30:47Speaker 2: get with it. It's so amazing. And this removes peach
- 30:50Speaker 2: fuzz and gently exfoliates. And there's an entire collection of
- 30:53Speaker 2: self-care products designed for women's bodies. It's premium design, a
- 30:58Speaker 2: fair price, and a shaving routine that finally feels a
- 31:01Speaker 2: little more like self-care. And a lot less like a
- 31:04Speaker 2: battle in the shower. For a limited time, my listeners
- 31:07Speaker 2: get Flamingo's starter set for only $ 7 at shopflamingo.com slash drama.
- 31:13Speaker 2: This set includes the Flamingo Original Razor, 1-5 Blade Cartridge,
- 31:18Speaker 2: a one-ounce foaming shave gel, and a shower holder. Just
- 31:21Speaker 2: head to shopflamingo.com slash drama to claim this offer. And
- 31:25Speaker 2: after you purchase, they'll ask you how you heard about them.
- 31:28Speaker 2: So please support Drama Darling and tell them I sent you.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Think of a time when you could have used therapy.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Think of a time when you were in a real pickle.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Maybe a breakup, maybe a burnout, crash out, major anxiety, stress. Well,
- 31:43Speaker 2: you get where I'm going with this. But you wanted
- 31:45Speaker 2: a therapist and you wanted it right then, but you
- 31:48Speaker 2: found it impossible to find a therapist online who took
- 31:51Speaker 2: your insurance. Well, you know, affordable and accessible mental health
- 31:55Speaker 2: care shouldn't be out of reach, but too often it is.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Have you ever used your insurance to cover your physical health?
- 32:01Speaker 2: So why shouldn't it also cover your mental health? Rula
- 32:05Speaker 2: makes sure it does. I love therapy. You know I do.
- 32:08Speaker 2: And there are a lot of online therapy platforms that
- 32:11Speaker 2: actually fall short. Many don't work with insurance at all.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Which means you're stuck paying the full cost out of pocket.
- 32:19Speaker 2: No one likes out of pocket. Or paying for an
- 32:21Speaker 2: expensive monthly subscription. Rula does things differently. They partner with
- 32:26Speaker 2: over 100 insurance plans. making the average copay just $ 15
- 32:30Speaker 2: per session. That's real therapy from licensed professionals at a
- 32:34Speaker 2: price that actually makes sense. Rula knows that finding the
- 32:37Speaker 2: right therapist can make all the difference. Rula considers your goals, preferences,
- 32:41Speaker 2: and background to provide you a curated list of licensed

- 32:48Speaker 2: No wait lists, no frustrating back and forth. Rula makes
- 32:52Speaker 2: it easy to find a mental health provider who is
- 32:54Speaker 2: accepting new patients. and appointments are available as soon as tomorrow. Plus,
- 32:58Speaker 2: Rula sticks with you throughout your journey, checking in to

- 33:08Speaker 2: dot com slash drama. For quality therapy, that's covered by insurance.
- 33:18Speaker 3: It was really tough when I believe it was Carmela...
- 33:22Speaker 3: was referring to Vicki as Betty White.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Because in one sentence, she slammed Betty White.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:32Speaker 3: And she slammed Vicki, because Betty White is a good
- 33:35Speaker 3: 20 to 30 years her senior, you know, if she
- 33:38Speaker 3: were here with us today.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I was going to say, and she's passed, you know.
- 33:41Speaker 2: And she's passed. And that's the other thing. And that's RIP, Betty.
- 33:44Speaker 2: We love you, and we're sorry that you got dragged
- 33:47Speaker 2: into this.
- 33:48Speaker 3: You know, Betty was great. in her 90s, right? So
- 33:52Speaker 3: it just doesn't feel.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Also, since when did Betty White have no filter and
- 33:58Speaker 2: couldn't keep her mouth shut about certain things? I don't
- 34:00Speaker 2: recall Betty White being like that. If she's referring to
- 34:04Speaker 2: a character she played on like, The Golden Girls or
- 34:08Speaker 2: Hot in Cleveland or, you know, pick any one of
- 34:11Speaker 2: her gorgeous, gorgeous shows, you know, from a repertoire. But
- 34:15Speaker 2: you know, What are you speaking of? Because it's not
- 34:18Speaker 2: like that. Heather gave her nothing back. I mean, when
- 34:22Speaker 2: she dropped that Betty White, Heather, you know it registered.
- 34:26Speaker 2: And she just, that just goes to show what an
- 34:28Speaker 2: actress Heather is because she didn't have a genuine reaction
- 34:32Speaker 2: to that. That deserved a reaction. And you know what
- 34:38Speaker 2: I love is when housewives react the way they normally
- 34:42Speaker 2: would instead of burying it and making it okay. Yes.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Part of me thinks that Heather was trying to, like,
- 34:48Speaker 2: stick up for Vicky because she was like, oh, you know,
- 34:51Speaker 2: we all say that's just Vicky. But the other part
- 34:53Speaker 2: of me is like, why didn't you say Betty White?
- 34:56Speaker 3: I think I'm recalling that she did play a small
- 35:00Speaker 3: part in Hot in Cleveland.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Heather did.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Didn't she?
- 35:05Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Heather?
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I kind of think she did. Can we look
- 35:10Speaker 3: that up really quick?
- 35:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Can you look it up? Yeah. So there's
- 35:15Speaker 2: the woman who starred in that show who looks like Heather.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yes, she did.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Wendy Malick, is that her name? Yep. Okay. So are
- 35:27Speaker 2: you getting those two confused?
- 35:28Speaker 3: Heather Dubrow guest starred on the TV land sitcom Hot
- 35:32Speaker 3: in Cleveland in 2013.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Oh, my God. That's amazing.
- 35:37Speaker 3: On top of it all. This is also like, you know,
- 35:44Speaker 3: her co-star and someone she revered, I'm assuming, you know?
- 35:50Speaker 2: Now, see, this is a perfect example of like, oh,
- 35:53Speaker 2: Betty White is so lovely. I worked with her on
- 35:55Speaker 2: Hot in Cleveland. And this is my experience. You know,
- 35:59Speaker 2: that would have been like, let's drop some stuff. Oh,
- 36:03Speaker 2: my God. You're right.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Hot in Cleveland.
- 36:05Speaker 2: When I did one of my first videos that I
- 36:07Speaker 2: did of Heather Dubrow, I just remembered. I talked about,
- 36:11Speaker 2: I listed all the shows and Hot in Cleveland was
- 36:14Speaker 2: one of them. That's so funny.
- 36:17Speaker 3: See, you forgot, Amy. You forgot your own work, you know?
- 36:20Speaker 3: I do and I forget my own work. It's like
- 36:22Speaker 3: at this point.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I wanted to be on Hot in Cleveland so bad
- 36:25Speaker 2: and I auditioned. Did you ever audition for that show? No.
- 36:30Speaker 2: Because that was like one of the ones in the
- 36:31Speaker 2: rotation around that time. And I think I auditioned for
- 36:38Speaker 2: like two parts. And I was like, I didn't get
- 36:42Speaker 2: either one of them. I was like, damn it. I
- 36:44Speaker 2: want to be on Hot in Cleveland.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I want to be able to defend Betty White from
- 36:49Speaker 3: a place of true knowledge in 2026, you know?
- 36:53Speaker 2: But you know who got the role? Heather Dubrow.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Yeah, she sounds like she did.
- 36:58Speaker 2: It sounds like she did. So, yeah, that was a slam. Also,
- 37:03Speaker 2: I did not realize that Carmela worked for the Oppenheim Group.
- 37:09Speaker 2: That's a flex.
- 37:09Speaker 3: That's pretty cool.
- 37:11Speaker 2: That's pretty cool. That is cool. And I loved, this
- 37:14Speaker 2: is a genuine, I loved being at the Oppenheim Group
- 37:17Speaker 2: in Orange County, clearly. Or, I guess, Orange County, wherever
- 37:22Speaker 2: that was. I don't know.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Because, I mean, I know they opened the Orange County...
- 37:29Speaker 2: branch like a couple years ago. So I'm only guessing
- 37:33Speaker 2: that's what it is. But to see her help Heather
- 37:36Speaker 2: out with getting Max an apartment, and she certainly knows
- 37:40Speaker 2: the area, was wonderful to watch.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Yes. Yes, absolutely. I mean, I, you know, yeah, that
- 37:49Speaker 3: gives her credentials and all of that. It's nice to
- 37:52Speaker 3: see her planted so much. Now, did you guys already
- 37:56Speaker 3: cover Her living in Orange County and then her working
- 38:01Speaker 3: and her living and all of that where the kids are.
- 38:04Speaker 3: Did you guys cover that?
- 38:05Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, I don't know. We should
- 38:08Speaker 2: talk about it. I was trying to get a.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Handle on it. I was like having a hard time
- 38:12Speaker 3: understanding it exactly.
- 38:14Speaker 2: You know, because they didn't really explain it. It sounded
- 38:16Speaker 2: like she moved down to San Paolo. I don't know
- 38:21Speaker 2: where she is.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Yeah, she's down there somewhere.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yeah. New Mexico. Like, I don't know where she is,
- 38:28Speaker 2: but she is, as we saw on the map.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Yeah, far. Two hours.
- 38:34Speaker 2: Two hours and 15 minutes, was it?
- 38:36Speaker 3: Past Orange County, right? Like, it was a.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Past Newport, yeah. That's what it was.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Past Newport, yeah.
- 38:42Speaker 2: That is so far. Far. So, like, so I'm guessing
- 38:46Speaker 2: that she wanted to live down there with her partner
- 38:51Speaker 2: and work down there. And then her kids stayed up
- 38:54Speaker 2: with their dad.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Oh, her.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Okay. Okay. That makes more sense to me because I
- 39:02Speaker 3: was thinking the boyfriend, which wasn't making sense to me.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. The dad.
- 39:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Got it. Yeah. So, but I mean, Vicky was like,
- 39:12Speaker 2: I was at mom's Chez Big U, which, I mean,
- 39:15Speaker 2: she was, but. She was. I think it's fine to
- 39:18Speaker 2: have an opinion about it. It is weird. Like, I
- 39:20Speaker 2: also don't, she has not given much of an explanation,
- 39:25Speaker 2: which is irritating, She just was so vague about it.
- 39:29Speaker 2: And she's like, she just basically says, I'm there for
- 39:31Speaker 2: my kids. I'm a good mom. And like, and I
- 39:33Speaker 2: understand that. We've seen her kids. It looks like they've
- 39:35Speaker 2: got a great relationship until she, you know, said BJ
- 39:39Speaker 2: in front of her daughter. And I was like, yikes.
- 39:42Speaker 2: But I would like more information. And I think that's
- 39:47Speaker 2: the angle that Vicky was having as a. A true
- 39:50Speaker 2: real housewife should have to try to get information out
- 39:53Speaker 2: of somebody. We didn't get a lot.
- 39:55Speaker 3: And the way Vicki receives, you know, she sits in
- 39:59Speaker 3: that car and she's explaining and Vicki's like this. Just
- 40:07Speaker 3: stone-faced listening, receiving, not reacting. It's like, wow, what a technique. Computing.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Computing all this, running it through the Codo AI system
- 40:22Speaker 3: and delivering it when the time is right. Totally.
- 40:29Speaker 2: You are so right. It's going in. I have to
- 40:32Speaker 2: remember this. I have to remember this because my protein
- 40:35Speaker 2: levels are at 2,800. Look it up. Yeah. What was that?
- 40:39Speaker 2: I don't know what that is. Spike protein. I'm not sure.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Spike protein? Google it. Yeah, I know.
- 40:43Speaker 3: She just screams like Google. Everything is so angry It's like,
- 40:48Speaker 3: can you just tell me about spike protein, this new
- 40:50Speaker 3: term I've never heard of it?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we'd all love to hear. Yeah, tell us.
- 40:54Speaker 3: What is it?
- 40:55Speaker 2: It's probably because she can't explain it. I'm guessing she
- 40:57Speaker 2: probably doesn't explain it. She probably doesn't even know what
- 40:59Speaker 2: it means. She just knows it's bad.
- 41:02Speaker 3: You know, I just would love her to just– there's
- 41:08Speaker 3: not a soft landing. Even spike protein is– Shot out
- 41:14Speaker 3: of a cannon, you know?
- 41:21Speaker 2: Top of the morning to you. The fact that we
- 41:24Speaker 2: got to see, I loved seeing Shannon's green sequin shirt
- 41:32Speaker 2: that she has worn year after year. And then this
- 41:36Speaker 2: shamrock onesie or shamrock outfit.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Wow. Wow.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Wow. So, was it St. Patrick's Day even?
- 41:50Speaker 3: Not in my book.
- 41:52Speaker 2: That was so random.
- 41:55Speaker 3: You know.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Nobody said it was. But, like, why would she wear that?
- 41:59Speaker 2: I mean, it had to have been. It had to
- 42:03Speaker 2: have been.
- 42:03Speaker 3: You know.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Great. It doesn't move the needle either way. Deanna does
- 42:07Speaker 2: We Don't Care. It just was so random. And Jen...
- 42:11Speaker 2: you know, showing up at this dog training place and
- 42:15Speaker 2: Shannon's like top of the morning and she whips it
- 42:19Speaker 2: off like Hulk Hogan, you know, just, you know, and
- 42:23Speaker 2: Jen's just like, hi. And I'm like, bitch, have a reaction.
- 42:27Speaker 3: At least like comment.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Look a lot. You guys, this is bad.
- 42:33Speaker 3: This is bad.
- 42:34Speaker 2: No. God bless America.
- 42:37Speaker 3: The other thing that I did think was kind of interesting,
- 42:40Speaker 3: you know, I, I, There was a full court press
- 42:44Speaker 3: on Heather, her wanting to be the center of the pictures,
- 42:50Speaker 3: her wanting to be in the room, putting peeing in
- 42:56Speaker 3: the room, peeing on her spots. They all get so frustrated.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Vicky's frustrated because Heather exudes leadership power, right? That is
- 43:08Speaker 3: her vibe. That is her... whole thing is like, I
- 43:14Speaker 3: run things, I do things, I'm rich. And she is
- 43:18Speaker 3: going to be in the center of the photo and
- 43:19Speaker 3: she is going to get her solo shots because of
- 43:22Speaker 3: the outfit. And she doesn't really care for you guys.
- 43:25Speaker 3: So she does need solo shots in addition to group shots.
- 43:29Speaker 3: And it's just.
- 43:33Speaker 2: I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
- 43:35Speaker 3: I don't either, and I thought it was great that
- 43:38Speaker 3: we got the package of Emily.
- 43:40Speaker 2: Oh, my God. That was so funny.
- 43:41Speaker 3: That's why it burns her buns so bad, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 3: because she does want that center shot. So it's like, yeah.
- 43:48Speaker 2: She wants the center orange.
- 43:51Speaker 3: She wants a center orange.
- 43:52Speaker 2: But you know, you guys can all share the center spot.
- 43:55Speaker 2: It's okay. But like the one that she was referring
- 43:58Speaker 2: to when they were walking in Vegas, I'm sure that
- 44:00Speaker 2: the production was like, we're going to do a shot
- 44:02Speaker 2: of you guys walking through the casino and they know
- 44:05Speaker 2: it's going to be slow motion. So Heather wanted to
- 44:08Speaker 2: get a peak spot and she should. Yeah. Work it.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Work it. Your hair is cute as hell, Heather.
- 44:15Speaker 2: This hair is giving you life. It is so great.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I know. It's the best thing about Orange County right
- 44:22Speaker 2: now is her hair.
- 44:23Speaker 3: It is. Genuinely.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Genuinely. It's so cute on her. Troy is great. Love
- 44:29Speaker 2: the dog. Shannon's dog. I did think it was funny
- 44:33Speaker 2: when Vicki was like, all it does is sniff, sniff, lick, lick, sniff, lick, sniff, lick.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Okay, that was cute.
- 44:40Speaker 2: I mean, it's so, like, it's funny. She's funny. She is.
- 44:43Speaker 3: That's great.
- 44:45Speaker 2: She is. Now, Let's see. That is our recap. No,
- 44:51Speaker 2: I'm just joking. Hold on. Wait, also Troy, getting back
- 44:56Speaker 2: to Troy, because that's a hot topic here. $ 12, 000 in
- 45:01Speaker 2: shoes that Shannon says that he has chewed up. I
- 45:06Speaker 2: would say when Vicki's sitting her down to talk about finances,
- 45:10Speaker 2: I would suggest putting your shoes in the closet when
- 45:15Speaker 2: you take them off. Put them in a box. Put
- 45:19Speaker 2: them up high. I don't know. Put them in a bag.
- 45:21Speaker 2: You could have learned after two pairs. What are you doing?
- 45:25Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, that conversation, Shannon's ignorance about her own
- 45:30Speaker 3: finances is dark.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Is it because David handled all the finances? It's
- 45:37Speaker 2: something that she just got used to and then not
- 45:41Speaker 2: having to do anything about? Is that why? And she
- 45:44Speaker 2: was raised wealthy. She was wealthy as a child.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I'm sure that's how, that's for so many, that's for
- 45:49Speaker 3: friends of mine. You know, there's so many people in
- 45:52Speaker 3: that boat. But she's been divorced for a very long time.
- 45:56Speaker 2: Right. And she's pushed, you're right, she's pushed it aside.
- 45:58Speaker 2: And then to find out, you know, I didn't realize
- 46:01Speaker 2: that Real for Real took her down to the studs.
- 46:06Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
- 46:08Speaker 3: That she put so much money into Real. That's where
- 46:10Speaker 3: you go, Bethany Frankel, love her or leave her.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Or list it. Love it or list it.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Love it or list it. She does, many of her
- 46:21Speaker 3: deals are licensing deals. And there is, that's a smart
- 46:25Speaker 3: way to go when you don't know how something's going to,
- 46:30Speaker 3: she's licensing her brand, she's licensing her name, and she's
- 46:33Speaker 3: not putting her own capital in. And, you know, yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Well, and that was interesting to hear Shannon say that. Like,
- 46:42Speaker 2: she should have done this. Or that did she say
- 46:45Speaker 2: she said, I think she meant she shouldn't have like
- 46:48Speaker 2: used her savings to throw into a company. Instead, she
- 46:52Speaker 2: should have invested a little bit of capital in something
- 46:55Speaker 2: that is already successful. Yeah.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Or just like in stocks or wherever she should have
- 47:02Speaker 3: put it. You know, that wasn't it's so risky. And
- 47:07Speaker 3: it sounds like she didn't have anyone helping her with
- 47:11Speaker 3: that decision.
- 47:12Speaker 2: That's weird. You'd think somebody, you know, who's been wealthy
- 47:16Speaker 2: for a long time would have the right connections to
- 47:19Speaker 2: get a good money manager or money, you know, finance advisor.
- 47:23Speaker 2: She lives in Orange County. She was mismanaged. That's true.
- 47:27Speaker 3: But, you know, these, I can only imagine what comes
- 47:30Speaker 3: at these ladies for opportunities. And, like, you want to
- 47:33Speaker 3: be the next skinny girl. You want to have the next,
- 47:36Speaker 3: you know, Ramona Rosa, Pino Grigio. And I don't know
- 47:42Speaker 3: if that's in any numbers. But, you know, and you
- 47:46Speaker 3: want the next three-wick candle. And it's like, what? what
- 47:51Speaker 3: do you want to do to what, what, what makes sense.
- 47:54Speaker 3: And then you, you're watching shark tank and they are
- 47:57Speaker 3: saying to you, you gotta have skin in the game.
- 48:00Speaker 3: If you, you know, so it's like, if you don't
- 48:02Speaker 3: have someone really explaining things and yeah, you, you gotta
- 48:07Speaker 3: have that money to play with, in my opinion, you know,
- 48:11Speaker 3: to make tip, to have risk things like that. Like you, right.
- 48:16Speaker 3: I'm sure there's a million reasons where, but, I.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Mean, not everyone is Shamia. Shamia can bounce from thing
- 48:23Speaker 2: to thing and not lose anything because Gerald is so
- 48:28Speaker 2: freaking rich. It's okay. She can do a tequila. She
- 48:33Speaker 2: can drop a record and none of it doesn't have,
- 48:36Speaker 2: she doesn't have to make anything back and she's fine.
- 48:40Speaker 3: That was Erica too. Erica Jane was able to do
- 48:43Speaker 3: that until she couldn't. But, you know, yeah, that's a
- 48:46Speaker 3: different story. That's not Shannon's story, it sounds like. And
- 48:50Speaker 3: I think we know that, you know?
- 48:52Speaker 2: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Oh, boy.
- 48:56Speaker 3: God, it's so dark.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Well, finding out that she spends $ 3, 000 on Ubers, to me,
- 49:00Speaker 2: is actually fine. Because we don't want her driving and drinking.
- 49:03Speaker 2: So I was like, let's leave that number what it is.
- 49:06Speaker 2: Let's not scale back on that one. That's a gorgeous number.
- 49:11Speaker 3: It is.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Heather... You know, this whole thing with Emily and Heather
- 49:16Speaker 2: going back and forth, and they have a hard time
- 49:19Speaker 2: with Heather because... being anti carmella and now she's trying
- 49:22Speaker 2: to be her savior and kind of buddy up to
- 49:25Speaker 2: her it will be interesting to find out i'm sorry
- 49:29Speaker 2: it will be interesting to see heather have to tell
- 49:34Speaker 2: carmella yes i did say you were trashy and you
- 49:37Speaker 2: don't belong because it looks like that's what's going to
- 49:40Speaker 2: have to happen yeah.
- 49:43Speaker 3: We got a little tease and carmel was like wow.
- 49:45Speaker 1: You know i mean it's just an earful you're like
- 49:49Speaker 1: oh shit okay hold on let me get myself together
- 49:52Speaker 1: here say that one more time i come to trash
- 49:55Speaker 1: you for the group damn.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Emily just flat out said it in the confessional i
- 50:00Speaker 2: was like wow you are going for it you know
- 50:03Speaker 2: yeah well it'll do something.
- 50:08Speaker 3: Thoughts on Emily and Shane's dinner?
- 50:13Speaker 2: I think that they will absolutely be fine. I think
- 50:16Speaker 2: that they are going through something right now where it's like, yeah,
- 50:19Speaker 2: he's carrying the burden of the family. And that's really
- 50:23Speaker 2: hard to do. I think she's focusing on being a
- 50:26Speaker 2: real housewife and working out and doing all those things. And, um,
- 50:32Speaker 2: What other things, though?
- 50:35Speaker 3: I mean, that's where I sort of was like, what
- 50:37Speaker 3: other things? We're working out. We're shooting.
- 50:43Speaker 2: What else?
- 50:43Speaker 3: Because he was like, she's just out there. I'm like, where?
- 50:47Speaker 3: What are the other things?
- 50:50Speaker 2: Right. Well, I think that she does do work for
- 50:55Speaker 2: the Innocence Project. So that'll keep her out. No, I
- 51:01Speaker 2: don't know. But I do think that like the, at
- 51:03Speaker 2: the end of the day, he's obviously really holding all
- 51:08Speaker 2: the cards when it comes to family stuff right now.
- 51:11Speaker 2: And I'm sure that she, when, when he said you
- 51:15Speaker 2: come home and then you go in your room and
- 51:17Speaker 2: you get on Instagram and I have to put the
- 51:18Speaker 2: kids to bed. I was like, that's, that's tough one.
- 51:20Speaker 2: That's a tough one.
- 51:21Speaker 3: You know, that was, and I believed him. I got
- 51:24Speaker 3: to tell you, like, I believed everything he said. I mean,
- 51:28Speaker 3: not that you wouldn't because she's sitting right there and she's.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Not arguing it.
- 51:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Not arguing really, you know. But it gave me, I,
- 51:37Speaker 3: you know, they made this decision. They looked at whose
- 51:41Speaker 3: numbers or who was bringing in more money. And I
- 51:44Speaker 3: feel like Emily is running with it too hard. Yeah.
- 51:49Speaker 3: That's what I'm feeling like.
- 51:50Speaker 2: That's a good judgment call on that. I think that's
- 51:53Speaker 2: fair to say. And that's tough. That's... really hard for
- 51:59Speaker 2: both of them because it's going to end up backfiring.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I think that they're going to be fine. I think
- 52:04Speaker 2: that the, the way that the show is kind of
- 52:08Speaker 2: making it seem like the thread throughout this season is
- 52:12Speaker 2: like that they're not doing great. You know, I know
- 52:15Speaker 2: that they've got a lot of pressure with, you know,
- 52:18Speaker 2: with Luke and all that stuff. So that is so challenging. Um,
- 52:22Speaker 2: and they're both going to deal with it in their
- 52:24Speaker 2: own ways. And maybe, um, it's good that Emily is
- 52:27Speaker 2: going out and doing the things she needs to do
- 52:29Speaker 2: because that helps her cope with the situation in order
- 52:32Speaker 2: to be able to like put back in what she
- 52:34Speaker 2: needs to. And so if that's the case, like, you know,
- 52:37Speaker 2: no judgment there, but obviously Shane isn't exactly that happy
- 52:42Speaker 2: at this point, but I think that they're going to
- 52:44Speaker 2: be fine. I think the thread of the story is
- 52:47Speaker 2: like just exaggerated for the sake of the show. And
- 52:50Speaker 2: I really like Shane. I've always liked Shane. I liked
- 52:53Speaker 2: him at the beginning.
- 52:53Speaker 3: You can't help but like that little asshole. Like, you can't,
- 52:57Speaker 3: you know? He just, every time I want to not,
- 53:00Speaker 3: really not like him, he makes me laugh or he
- 53:04Speaker 3: says something where I'm like, he's a good guy, you know?
- 53:07Speaker 2: He's kind of like one of us. That's how I feel. Like,
- 53:10Speaker 2: I feel like he has a great sense of humor,
- 53:13Speaker 2: a very dry and kind of dark sense of humor.
- 53:16Speaker 2: And I think he's really smart. And I think like,
- 53:21Speaker 2: I think he's good vibes. And I think that when
- 53:23Speaker 2: he first came on, he was portrayed in a way
- 53:26Speaker 2: where it did look very, it didn't look great for him.
- 53:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:33Speaker 2: But I felt like he was misunderstood, you know? So.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Well, it was that really wild housewife who was on
- 53:44Speaker 3: for like one season. She was married to the like.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Nicole, Nicoletta.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Yes.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Yeah. I think so. Dark hair, long dark hair.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Yeah, and she was married to the billboard lawyer.
- 53:54Speaker 3: The billboard guy, yeah. She said the two of them
- 53:59Speaker 3: have insane chemistry, and I think all of us were
- 54:02Speaker 3: surprised at the time, you know, because we were like, huh?
- 54:06Speaker 3: Shane and Emily, like those are the two. And like, yeah,
- 54:11Speaker 3: that they have.
- 54:13Speaker 2: I think that too. Yeah, I did love hearing what
- 54:16Speaker 2: she was saying. She's like, I got you a steak.
- 54:20Speaker 2: I did other things. Yeah. He's like, well, I mean,
- 54:23Speaker 2: I think. Okay.
- 54:26Speaker 1: He's like, yeah.
- 54:27Speaker 3: I mean, I think that's keeping them. The fact that
- 54:31Speaker 3: she's getting busy in that bedroom is keeping them.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Upright.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Upright. Locked in. You know, they're in coach, but, you know,
- 54:43Speaker 2: they're still, they're flying. They're flying right. They're up. Yeah. Yeah.
- 54:47Speaker 2: I'm not worried about them. I've never been not worried
- 54:51Speaker 2: about a couple more in the housewives. I know.
- 54:54Speaker 3: That's interesting.
- 54:56Speaker 2: I think also when they talked today or on this episode,
- 54:59Speaker 2: they said, we both have a lot of the same values.
- 55:03Speaker 2: We want to stay together. And I know that Shane
- 55:07Speaker 2: has a Mormon foundation. And I think that does serve
- 55:13Speaker 2: them in this situation because I think he's very, like,
- 55:15Speaker 2: even though they may not talk about it or be
- 55:18Speaker 2: outspoken about it or he isn't outspoken about it, I
- 55:22Speaker 2: do think that that's a meaningful foundation for him. And
- 55:25Speaker 2: I think that he's doing the work.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Well, they got together sort of in a more, like.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Just clinical way. You know, they didn't, it wasn't a
- 55:39Speaker 3: love story for the ages. You know, I think he
- 55:41Speaker 3: sent her an email.
- 55:42Speaker 2: It was like married at first sight, you know?
- 55:43Speaker 3: Yeah, pretty much.
- 55:45Speaker 2: It was.
- 55:47Speaker 3: And so in some ways you're like, yeah, you've never,
- 55:51Speaker 3: you've never had that thing of like you're in love
- 55:56Speaker 3: and this person completing you. That's never been what this is.
- 56:00Speaker 3: So you're fine. You know, you're just going to keep
- 56:04Speaker 3: marching along.
- 56:05Speaker 2: And you know what? That's sometimes all people need.
- 56:08Speaker 3: That's right.
- 56:10Speaker 2: And when she says, we keep seeing the preview of
- 56:12Speaker 2: her when someone's like, was he always the one? Is
- 56:15Speaker 2: he the one? She's like, I still don't know. We
- 56:17Speaker 2: can all say that. And I also really believe that
- 56:20Speaker 2: there are several, there could be several ones that you
- 56:23Speaker 2: can be compatible with. You just kind of look around.
- 56:27Speaker 2: It didn't dawn on me until the ripe age of,
- 56:30Speaker 2: but when I You see the types of people out there,
- 56:36Speaker 2: and you're like, that's the same type of person as Brett.
- 56:41Speaker 2: They kind of look the same. They have similar characteristics,
- 56:46Speaker 2: give or take this or that. And you can kind
- 56:49Speaker 2: of see that you could make something like that work, right? Now, however,
- 56:53Speaker 2: when it comes to me and Brett, all that aside,
- 56:57Speaker 2: he is the funniest person I've ever met. And I
- 57:01Speaker 2: cannot imagine... Being with someone who's not as funny. Like,
- 57:05Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Well, you're not going to.
- 57:07Speaker 2: I couldn't do it.
- 57:07Speaker 3: You're not going to find that in an alternate brat.
- 57:11Speaker 2: And that's, and there's, and there my point lands, which
- 57:15Speaker 2: is that, like, you could be compatible with tons of
- 57:18Speaker 2: other people, but there's probably going to be that one thing,
- 57:24Speaker 2: maybe more than one thing, that makes you like, well, no,
- 57:26Speaker 2: but this is why this is my person, you know?
- 57:29Speaker 3: Right. Like, there's always going to be that. I'm not
- 57:33Speaker 3: going to find a Chinese merchant marine around every corner.
- 57:37Speaker 3: I'm just not. And that's also the truth, you know.
- 57:46Speaker 2: And you're lucky you even did. I mean, quite honestly,
- 57:49Speaker 2: good on you.
- 57:50Speaker 3: I got the one.
- 57:50Speaker 2: You got the one. The one and only. The one
- 57:54Speaker 2: and only. How great is that? Well, I mean... There's
- 58:01Speaker 2: really not much else I think we need to cover.
- 58:04Speaker 2: I think we've done it and we can discuss more,
- 58:06Speaker 2: you know, next week. And in the meantime, everyone's homework
- 58:09Speaker 2: is to look up spike protein and see, see where
- 58:13Speaker 2: we're at. Yeah. Vicki's at 2,800. It's apparently not good. Snarl. Yeah.
- 58:25Speaker 2: I was like, you're getting an IV. Are they putting
- 58:28Speaker 2: poison in there? Like what is happening? She was upset.
- 58:33Speaker 2: She was upset.
- 58:33Speaker 1: All right.
