A Prince William County judge handed down two life sentences with no parole to Edward Bland Jr., a 38-year-old from Manassas, for the brutal, senseless shootings of two women — one pregnant — in April. The jury earlier convicted him on multiple charges including aggravated murder for killing a pregnant woman, aggravated murder for multiple victims, second-degree murder, carjacking, and firearm use during felonies.
