- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. One of the most important things for Prince
- 0:07Speaker 1: Andrew has always been his status. And that's because he
- 0:11Speaker 1: knew that that was the vehicle to get him where
- 0:13Speaker 1: he wanted to go. And he had no problem using
- 0:16Speaker 1: that status to do exactly that. And of all the
- 0:19Speaker 1: people that have faced repercussions over Jeffrey Epstein and their
- 0:23Speaker 1: relationship with him, I think that Prince Andrew has probably
- 0:27Speaker 1: suffered the most. And that's because he's lost all these
- 0:31Speaker 1: prestigious titles. And he's not even a prince anymore. So
- 0:35Speaker 1: if anybody has faced repercussions, it's been Prince Andrew. And
- 0:40Speaker 1: I think one of the biggest blows to him is
- 0:42Speaker 1: the fact that he's been uninvited from every single family event.
- 0:47Speaker 1: This dude's not invited over for anything. Whether it's Christmas
- 0:52Speaker 1: or the Order of the Garter Ceremony. So today we
- 0:56Speaker 1: have an article from LBC and the headline. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor
- 1:01Speaker 1: has been left feeling more isolated than ever after his
- 1:03Speaker 1: exclusion from a major royal event. Imagine all the allegations
- 1:09Speaker 1: that have been made against Andrew and that's what he's
- 1:11Speaker 1: worried about, not being invited for tea and crumpets. The
- 1:16Speaker 1: King and Queen and Prince William donned black velvet ostrich
- 1:19Speaker 1: plumed hats and robes on Monday as they processed through
- 1:23Speaker 1: the grounds outside Windsor Castle for the Ancient Order of
- 1:26Speaker 1: the Garter Ceremony. All this pomp and circumstance that happens
- 1:31Speaker 1: with the monarchy is very odd to me. Like, the
- 1:36Speaker 1: Order of the Garter? I mean, maybe back in the
- 1:38Speaker 1: year like 1612 or some shit, that's cool, but I
- 1:42Speaker 1: really just don't see the relevance in current times. Unless,
- 1:46Speaker 1: of course, you're talking about dress-up time for a bunch
- 1:49Speaker 1: of rich, well-to-do people and royals. I mean, I guess
- 1:54Speaker 1: it makes sense then, but I think that most outside
- 1:57Speaker 1: observers think it's a waste of money and a waste
- 1:59Speaker 1: of time. Absent from the procession was the disgraced former
- 2:04Speaker 1: Duke of York, who was stripped of his order of
- 2:06Speaker 1: the garter on her last October over his links to
- 2:09Speaker 1: the sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. A source told the Daily
- 2:13Speaker 1: Express that garter day would be a really tough day
- 2:16Speaker 1: for Andrew. They said, he's become used to watching his
- 2:19Speaker 1: family celebrate trooping without him, but garter day will be
- 2:22Speaker 1: a really tough day for him. It's one of the
- 2:25Speaker 1: days that reminds him of all that he's lost. He's
- 2:28Speaker 1: feeling more isolated than ever. He's completely alone. Breaking news,
- 2:32Speaker 1: nobody cares. If anybody has earned their fate, it's this dude.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Of all the people we talk about, I know I've
- 2:40Speaker 1: said it before, but I'll say it again. Andrew sickens
- 2:42Speaker 1: me the most. This man had the whole entire world
- 2:46Speaker 1: handed up to him from the time he was born.
- 2:48Speaker 1: He could have done anything with his life. And this
- 2:51Speaker 1: is what he chose. So I don't give a damn
- 2:54Speaker 1: if you feel isolated. If it was up to me,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you'd be shipped off to Antarctica. The disgraced royal, who
- 3:01Speaker 1: became a member of the order in 2006, had previously
- 3:04Speaker 1: joined in the festivities and procession. Last year, he attended
- 3:08Speaker 1: the non-public pre-ceremony lunch, but he has now been removed
- 3:12Speaker 1: from the order. Well, yeah, when you're this disgraced, what
- 3:16Speaker 1: are you supposed to do? Like, should the king and
- 3:18Speaker 1: the royal family just ignore it like they did for
- 3:21Speaker 1: all the years leading up to this? Because I assure you,
- 3:24Speaker 1: that's why they're in the position to That they're in now.
- 3:28Speaker 1: If they would have just met this head on. And
- 3:31Speaker 1: thrown Andrew to the wolves where he belonged. Then they
- 3:33Speaker 1: would have avoided all of this. And the queen's legacy
- 3:36Speaker 1: would be intact. But unfortunately it's not. And anybody who's
- 3:41Speaker 1: a neutral observer. Who looks at how this all went down.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Can't help but walk away and say. Look the queen.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Was at fault. She protected him. She enabled him. And
- 3:52Speaker 1: she could have made sure that Andrew did the right
- 3:54Speaker 1: thing instead. But she didn't. So now her legacy is
- 3:57Speaker 1: being dragged down by this anchor known as Andrew. So yeah,
- 4:03Speaker 1: your bitch ass should be removed from every order. In fact,
- 4:06Speaker 1: they should send his ass to the space station. It's
- 4:09Speaker 1: believed that this is the first year that Andrew has
- 4:11Speaker 1: not attended in any capacity at all. I mean, he
- 4:14Speaker 1: was just arrested. There's a lot going on as far
- 4:17Speaker 1: as his own case and the investigation in the UK.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Never mind what's going on in America. So there was
- 4:23Speaker 1: zero shot that he was going to this thing at all.
- 4:26Speaker 1: privately or publicly. His complete exclusion comes after the King
- 4:33Speaker 1: took away all of his remaining titles last year, along
- 4:36Speaker 1: with his royal title, Prince and Duke of York, as
- 4:39Speaker 1: controversy mounted over his links with Jeffrey Epstein. And I
- 4:43Speaker 1: know we all want to give Charles credit for doing
- 4:45Speaker 1: what he's done, but he's had no choice. Do you
- 4:48Speaker 1: really think he wants to do this? Do you think
- 4:51Speaker 1: he wants to deal with Andrew in any capacity whatsoever?
- 4:55Speaker 1: But he has to. and his hand is forced. But
- 4:59Speaker 1: for the royal family, the best scenario would have been
- 5:01Speaker 1: for all of this to continue to be whitewashed and downplayed.
- 5:06Speaker 1: That was the strategy up until recently, up until these
- 5:08Speaker 1: files were released, and absolutely destroyed their narrative. But leading
- 5:13Speaker 1: up to that, forget it. The palace had nothing to say.
- 5:17Speaker 1: The palace had no kind of plan to deal with
- 5:21Speaker 1: what was happening, and now the queen has just passed
- 5:23Speaker 1: the buck to King Charles. And we all know he's
- 5:28Speaker 1: not equipped to deal with this. The dude is old
- 5:31Speaker 1: and he has cancer. Never mind all the other issues
- 5:34Speaker 1: going on. Andrew's now living in Norfolk while police investigate
- 5:40Speaker 1: allegations of misconduct in public office. He was arrested on
- 5:43Speaker 1: suspicion of misconduct in public office in February and then
- 5:46Speaker 1: released under investigation. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing. Well, yeah,
- 5:54Speaker 1: what's he going to do, admit it? Well, you guys
- 5:56Speaker 1: got me. Shucks, I'm caught. Everything you said about me
- 6:00Speaker 1: is true. All the rumors about Epstein, those are true.
- 6:04Speaker 1: What Virginia said, that's true. I mean, come on. He's
- 6:09Speaker 1: not going to say a damn thing. I think he
- 6:11Speaker 1: learned his lesson with that dumbass interview on BBC with
- 6:15Speaker 1: Emily Maitlis. Probably the worst decision somebody has ever made.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Imagine being as guilty as Andrew looks and then you
- 6:25Speaker 1: go up there and you have this interview on BBC
- 6:27Speaker 1: And you're talking about kits? You're talking about pizza joints?
- 6:31Speaker 1: You're talking about not sweating? And then, as the cherry
- 6:36Speaker 1: on top, you leave that interview thinking you did a
- 6:39Speaker 1: great job. Oh yeah, things went great. I'm a great guy.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Everybody's gonna believe my story. Meanwhile, nobody believed it. And
- 6:49Speaker 1: after we all picked our jaws up, we let them know.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But this bumbling fool thought he did a great job
- 6:55Speaker 1: and thought that the idea... Of sitting down for that interview.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Was top notch. Well guess what. Just like everything else.
- 7:02Speaker 1: That this man touched. It turned to shit. He was
- 7:07Speaker 1: last seen at the weekend. Just hours before the king's
- 7:10Speaker 1: official birthday parade. Trooping the color. Took place in London.
- 7:14Speaker 1: The order of the garter. Founded by Edward the third.
- 7:17Speaker 1: In 1348. Is the oldest chivalry order. In Britain. I
- 7:22Speaker 1: mean cool. I love the history. And I certainly love. Medieval.
- 7:26Speaker 1: English history. Some of the coolest shit in the world.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I mean, you got the War of the Roses. You
- 7:33Speaker 1: have the conquest from William the Conqueror. You know, just
- 7:37Speaker 1: a whole host of world-changing events. And I really find
- 7:40Speaker 1: the history of England to be super fascinating. One of
- 7:44Speaker 1: my favorite topics. But with that said, all these different
- 7:47Speaker 1: orders and all of these different, you know, groups that
- 7:50Speaker 1: they have, it's all outdated. Now, the flip side of
- 7:53Speaker 1: that argument is that it's about tradition. and there is
- 7:57Speaker 1: a valid argument to be made there as well. 100%.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Tradition is important, but so is holding people like Andrew
- 8:04Speaker 1: accountable when they should be held accountable. Thousands of spectators
- 8:09Speaker 1: gathered to watch the procession, which saw the Knights of
- 8:11Speaker 1: the Order of the Garter walk down to St. George's
- 8:14Speaker 1: Chapel after their annual lunch. Among those in the procession
- 8:18Speaker 1: were the King, the Queen, traditionally at the rear of
- 8:20Speaker 1: the Knights, while further ahead was the Prince of Wales,
- 8:24Speaker 1: Duke of Edinburgh, and Princess Royal. The king, who is
- 8:28Speaker 1: sovereign of the garter, personally chooses 24 companions who have
- 8:31Speaker 1: held public office, contributed in a particular way to national life,
- 8:36Speaker 1: or served the monarch personally. So, all of his buddies.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Got it. It's a big-ass club, folks, and you are
- 8:44Speaker 1: not invited. Other garter knights included former Prime Minister Sir
- 8:49Speaker 1: Tony Blair, Lord Patton, the last British governor of Hong Kong,
- 8:53Speaker 1: and West End musical Impresario, Lord Lloyd Webber, all in
- 8:58Speaker 1: their blue velvet mantles and black velvet hats with white
- 9:02Speaker 1: ostrich plumes. I'm pretty sure people that are starving in
- 9:05Speaker 1: the UK don't give a shit. People that can't pay
- 9:08Speaker 1: their bills don't give a shit. And people being targeted
- 9:12Speaker 1: by grooming gangs, sure they don't give a shit, but sure,
- 9:15Speaker 1: have fun with your little costume party. During the St.
- 9:19Speaker 1: George service, three new garter knights were invested, historian and
- 9:23Speaker 1: former journalist, Lord Peter Hennessy, ex-Cabinet Secretary and Head of
- 9:27Speaker 1: Civil Service Lord Gus O'Donnell, and former Chief Justice Lord
- 9:31Speaker 1: Ian Burnett. So look, as far as Andrew goes, there's
- 9:35Speaker 1: no way that he's going to be invited to any
- 9:37Speaker 1: of this stuff ever again. And when you want to
- 9:39Speaker 1: talk about people that are being punished, Andrew most certainly
- 9:43Speaker 1: is being punished. Now it's not what it should be,
- 9:46Speaker 1: especially if you believe that what Virginia was saying is true,
- 9:50Speaker 1: but at least there are some kind of repercussions. And
- 9:53Speaker 1: if you want the truth, I thought Andrew would be
- 9:56Speaker 1: the last person to be dealing with them. I always
- 9:59Speaker 1: thought that Andrew... would come out of this pretty much unscathed. Oh, sure,
- 10:03Speaker 1: his reputation took a hit. But besides that, I didn't
- 10:07Speaker 1: think that Andrew would end up facing any real consequence.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Certainly never thought I'd see him get arrested. So who
- 10:13Speaker 1: knows what will happen next? We know that the investigation
- 10:16Speaker 1: has expanded, and we know that the investigators are looking
- 10:19Speaker 1: for a whole host of crimes, whether that has to
- 10:21Speaker 1: do with public corruption or anything else. If there's anything
- 10:25Speaker 1: to find, I think they'll find it. But you know
- 10:28Speaker 1: what I'm sure of? I'm sure that Prince Andrew's days
- 10:31Speaker 1: of playing dress-up and LARPing around, like some great knight,
- 10:35Speaker 1: are long over. And if anybody has earned their fate,
- 10:39Speaker 1: it's certainly the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family. All
- 10:44Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
- 10:47Speaker 1: in the description box.
