Speaker 1: We will pursue charges in this case. I see various
• 0:05
Speaker 1: crimes that have occurred. Exactly what they are, I'm not
• 0:08
Speaker 1: going to flag, but the Face Act has been mentioned
• 0:11
Speaker 1: as one of the predicates there. In other cases, the
• 0:14
Speaker 1: Biden DOJ used the Clan Act conspiracy charges tacked on
• 0:18
Speaker 1: to the Face Act in the case of protests outside
• 0:20
Speaker 1: abortion clinics to bring much longer sentences. So there are
• 0:24
Speaker 1: a number of tools available with us.
• 0:26
Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.

• 0:34
Speaker 3: for you, and that is this. The Department of Homeland
• 0:36
Speaker 3: Security has arrested at least ten thousand criminal legal aliens
• 0:41
Speaker 3: in Minneapolis. The media, of course, doesn't want you to
• 0:44
Speaker 3: know the story. Christy nom is saying the record straight
• 0:47
Speaker 3: about what the Trump administration has been doing, and just
• 0:50
Speaker 3: tell me these criminals were dangerous and violent as well
• 0:54
Speaker 3: as sexual predators. So why is the media not telling
• 0:57
Speaker 3: you that part of the story. We'll explain that and
• 1:00
Speaker 3: give you the facts, but first want to tell you
• 1:02

• 1:18
Speaker 3: than twelve years. The truth is there is only one

Speaker 3: believe freedom is we're fighting for, and that company is
• 1:28
Speaker 3: Patriot Mobile. Not only are they leading the red economy,

Speaker 3: to two Patriot and make the switch today. It's the
• 2:54
Speaker 3: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 2:57
  Speaker 2: Story number one.
• 2:58
Speaker 3: Homeland Security Secretary christinom saying on Monday that federal authorities
• 3:03
Speaker 3: have arrested more than ten thousand criminal illegal aliens in
• 3:09
Speaker 3: Minneapolis alone. She added that investigators have opened what she
• 3:14
Speaker 3: described as a sweeping fraud probe totally at least nineteen billion,
• 3:20
Speaker 3: sharpening her criticism of the Minnesota Governor Waltz and the
• 3:24
Speaker 3: Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry for what she called a failure
• 3:28
Speaker 3: to protect public safety. In a statement, Nomes said the
• 3:32
Speaker 3: Department of Homeland Security law enforcement officers carried out the
• 3:37
Speaker 3: arrests and that about three thousand were made in the
• 3:40
Speaker 3: past six weeks alone. She said, those arrests included murderers, rapists,
• 3:46
Speaker 3: child sex offenders, and other violent criminals. But the media,
• 3:51
Speaker 3: they don't want you to know this story. Christy Nome
• 3:55
Speaker 3: is a great example of one of those that the
• 3:57
Speaker 3: so called media loves to go after. And on Sunday
• 4:01
Speaker 3: morning on Face the Nation on CBS, there was this
• 4:05
Speaker 3: exchange and it was amazing because Christy Nome took the
• 4:10
Speaker 3: anchor to the woodshed over her own lives. I want
• 4:14
Speaker 3: you to listen to the DHS secretary destroying CBS News's
• 4:19
Speaker 3: Margaret Brennan over the ice arrests and listened to the
• 4:22
Speaker 3: bias that was on the show that she didn't allow
• 4:25
  Speaker 3: to become reality.
• 4:27
Speaker 4: You just said, millions, what's the breakdown of the percentage
• 4:30
Speaker 4: of those who you have in custody who have actually
• 4:32
Speaker 4: committed a criminal offense versus just the civil infraction. Every
• 4:37
Speaker 4: single individual has committed a crime, but seventy percent of
• 4:40
Speaker 4: them have committed or have charges against them on violent
• 4:44
Speaker 4: crimes and crimes that they are charged with or have
• 4:47
Speaker 4: been convicted of that have come from other countries that
• 4:49
Speaker 4: are here illegally. First of all, and then they have
• 4:52
Speaker 4: committed a criminal act while they've been here or in
• 4:55
Speaker 4: their home countries as well. It's not seventy percent, yes,
• 4:58
Speaker 4: it is is seventy percent of everyone, you guys, it's
• 5:02
Speaker 4: changing your percentage. You pick and choose what numbers you
• 5:05
Speaker 4: think work. But that is the facts is that seventy
• 5:08
Speaker 4: percent of the people that we have detained have charges
• 5:11
Speaker 4: against them or have been convicted of charges, and they
• 5:14
Speaker 4: need to be brought to justice. And we're going to
• 5:16
Speaker 4: keep doing that no matter how much you guys keep
• 5:18
Speaker 4: lying and don't tell the public the truth. It absolutely
• 5:21
Speaker 4: is that these law enforcement officers are out there every
• 5:23
Speaker 4: day doing the work to protect the American people, and
• 5:27
Speaker 4: they will keep doing that because they believe in enforcing
• 5:29
Speaker 4: the law, which is exactly what President Trump has charged
• 5:31
  Speaker 4: them with.
• 5:32
Speaker 3: You listen there to again the lies coming from CBS News.
• 5:37
Speaker 3: They try to spend the numbers, they try to say
• 5:39
Speaker 3: what she said is not accurate, and then when they're
• 5:42
Speaker 3: called out on it, you notice how quiet Brennan shut
• 5:45
Speaker 3: down because she knows that this is the actual number,
• 5:50
Speaker 3: which also brings us to another part of this story.
• 5:53
Speaker 3: You may not know the headline that I'm about to
• 5:55
Speaker 3: give you, and that is the DOJ is investigating the
• 6:00
Speaker 3: Minnesota governor as well as the Minneapolis mayor their boat
• 6:04
Speaker 3: to crime. The probe is a quote intimidation tactic, and
• 6:08
Speaker 3: the liberal media is more than happy to spend it
• 6:11
Speaker 3: that way. Exactly for them. CNN doing a perfect job
• 6:15
Speaker 3: of giving you state sponsored media from the governor and
• 6:19
Speaker 3: the mayor, as they reported on this story between Jake
• 6:23
Speaker 3: Tapper and Caitlin Collins. Listen to how they tried to
• 6:27
Speaker 3: explain the story to you so that you think that
• 6:30
Speaker 3: somehow Donald Trump is the one doing something wrong, not
• 6:33
Speaker 3: the mayor who said that we should get the Ice
• 6:37
Speaker 3: Agency f out of his city, or the governor who
• 6:41
Speaker 3: said it's civil war. And let's also be clear, why
• 6:45
Speaker 3: are they saying that, Because billions of dollars have been
• 6:48
Speaker 3: coming into their state and have been disappearing through corruption, fraud,
• 6:53
Speaker 3: and much of the money actually going directly to terrorist
• 6:56
Speaker 3: organizations like al Shabab. There is a massive in the
• 7:01
Speaker 3: entire state and they don't want the federal government there
• 7:04
Speaker 3: trying to clean it up. So CNN says, yeah, we'll
• 7:08
Speaker 3: give you cover to that, no problem.
• 7:10
Speaker 5: I've confirmed that the Justice Department is investigating Minnesota Governor
• 7:14
Speaker 5: Tim Wallas and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye. A source familiar
• 7:18
Speaker 5: has told me that that confirms what was reported earlier
• 7:21
Speaker 5: by CBS, and essentially, Jake, as we're still trying to
• 7:24
Speaker 5: figure out what exactly the contours of this investigation are,
• 7:28
Speaker 5: we have a pretty good idea so far. And we
• 7:30
Speaker 5: heard from the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch earlier this
• 7:33
Speaker 5: week after we had heard these comments from Mayor fry
• 7:36
Speaker 5: from Governor Walls following the shooting of a woman by
• 7:39
Speaker 5: an ICE agent in Minneapolis. Earlier this week, Todd Blanche
• 7:43
Speaker 5: was saying that ICE operates in a bunch of different
• 7:45
Speaker 5: counties without incidents going on. He referred to what's happening
• 7:49
Speaker 5: in Minnesota as an insurrection and said it's the direct
• 7:51
Speaker 5: result of a failed governor and an all caps terrible
• 7:55
Speaker 5: mayor who he accused of encouraging violence against law enforcement,
• 7:59
Speaker 5: something that Todd Blanch called discussing, and he said, I'm
• 8:01
Speaker 5: focused on stopping you from your terrorism by whatever means necessary. So, Jake,
• 8:06
Speaker 5: I think that gives us a pretty good sense of
• 8:08
Speaker 5: what exactly it is that the Justice Department is at
• 8:10
Speaker 5: least trying to base this investigation off of where it goes.
• 8:13
Speaker 5: It's not really clear right now, but this does come
• 8:16
Speaker 5: as the FBI director and the Deputy Attorney General we're
• 8:19
Speaker 5: seen in Minneapolis today as they've been surging law enforcement
• 8:22
Speaker 5: to the area, as those tensions have only continued since
• 8:25
Speaker 5: the shooting of Renee Good. But it does show you, Jake,
• 8:28
Speaker 5: who the Justice Department is focusing their targets on when
• 8:31
Speaker 5: it comes to the aftermath of the shooting of Renee
• 8:35
Speaker 5: Good here and right now, it is the Minnesota Governor
• 8:37
Speaker 5: Tim Walls and the mayor here, both of whom have
• 8:40
Speaker 5: been criticized by multiple White House officials for their comments,
• 8:43
Speaker 5: including Mayor Fry telling Ice to get the f out
• 8:45
Speaker 5: of Minneapolis the day that she was killed, and Governor
• 8:49
Speaker 5: Wallas as well making multiple public comments talking about the
• 8:52
Speaker 5: massive federal presence in their state. And so now it's
• 8:56
Speaker 5: an investigation by the Justice Department. It's not clear, Jake,
• 9:00
Speaker 5: that either of them have actually been served subpoenas as
• 9:03
Speaker 5: a result of this. And where this is going to go.
• 9:05
Speaker 5: It seems to be in the very early stages of
• 9:07
Speaker 5: whatever investigation this is, but that is what we have
• 9:11
Speaker 5: learned so far, Jake.
• 9:12
Speaker 3: You notice there they didn't talk about the actual problems
• 9:16
Speaker 3: in Minnesota. They did not talk about the fraud. They
• 9:18
Speaker 3: didn't talk about the millions that turn into billions of
• 9:22
Speaker 3: dollars that have gone missing from the taxpayers. No, No, Instead,
• 9:26
Speaker 3: what did they do there? They made up a totally
• 9:29
Speaker 3: different issue, and that was some sort of retaliation or
• 9:33
Speaker 3: retribution as they described it for a Trump administration they
• 9:37
Speaker 3: claim is angry. Yes, the Trump administration, by the way,
• 9:40
Speaker 3: is angry either angry that billions of dollars of our
• 9:43
Speaker 3: tax dollars have gone missing in corruption and fraud that
• 9:46
Speaker 3: the governor and the mayor looked the other way on purpose,
• 9:50
Speaker 3: which brings us back to Christino and what she had
• 9:54
Speaker 3: to say on Monday. The federal authorities have not only
• 9:57
Speaker 3: arrested more than ten thousand criminal legal alans in Minneapolis,
• 10:01
Speaker 3: but she added that investigators have opened what she described
• 10:04
Speaker 3: as that sweeping fraud probe totally at least nineteen billion,
• 10:10
Speaker 3: and then explaining it very clearly, this is at the
• 10:13
Speaker 3: government's footsteps. This is a defeat of the governor of
• 10:18
Speaker 3: Minnesota and the mayor of Minneapolis. She also made it
• 10:22
Speaker 3: clear that the worst, the worst are who they're targeting
• 10:25
Speaker 3: in Minnesota, and we are finding the rapists, the child
• 10:28
Speaker 3: sex offenders, the violent criminals, the murderers. Gno I writing
• 10:32
Speaker 3: this peace and public safety in Minneapolis. We have arrested
• 10:37
Speaker 3: over ten thousand criminal illegal aliens who were killing Americans,
• 10:42
Speaker 3: hurting children, and raiding terror in Minneapolis because Tim Wall
• 10:45
Speaker 3: Jacob Frye refused to protect their own people and instead
• 10:49
Speaker 3: protect criminals. Nome continued, in the last six weeks, our
• 10:53
Speaker 3: brave Department of Homeland Security law enforcement have arrested three
• 10:57
Speaker 3: thousand criminal illegal aliens and putting vicious murderers, rapist, child pedophiles,
• 11:03
Speaker 3: and incredibly dangerous individuals, a huge victory for public safety.
• 11:08
Speaker 3: Gnoam also alleged massive fraud in her own words, totally
• 11:12
Speaker 3: as she described it, at least nineteen billion, and said
• 11:16
Speaker 3: Home in Security investigation agents were conducting large scale investigations
• 11:21
Speaker 3: aimed at recovering money and holding those responsible accountable. Known,
• 11:26
Speaker 3: by the way, did not provide any details outside of that.
• 11:30
Speaker 3: Why well, of course, because she doesn't want the criminals
• 11:33
Speaker 3: to know what we're actually doing. But what she did
• 11:35
Speaker 3: say was this, there is massive fraud in Minneapolis, at
• 11:38
Speaker 3: least nineteen billion, and that's just the tip of the Iceberg,
• 11:42
Speaker 3: our home insecurity investigators are on the ground in Minneapolis
• 11:45
Speaker 3: conducting wide scale investigations to get justice for the American
• 11:49
Speaker 3: people who have been robbed blind. Now you notice she
• 11:52
Speaker 3: didn't say Minnesota. She said nineteen billion in Minneapolis, one
• 11:57
Speaker 3: single city in America, by the way, not releasing records, names,
• 12:03
Speaker 3: or other details. Why because of course they don't want
• 12:07
Speaker 3: to help the criminals know what's coming. Now. We also
• 12:10
Speaker 3: know that the Justice Department is investigating whether walt and
• 12:13
Speaker 3: Fry impeded federal immigration enforcement through public statements. According to
• 12:18
Speaker 3: people familiar with that investigation, both Waltz and Fry have
• 12:23
Speaker 3: criticized the investigation, and of course, as you heard from
• 12:26
Speaker 3: CNN earlier, they're describing it as an intimidation tactic. No,
• 12:30
Speaker 3: it's an actual massive investigation. One other thing that's also
• 12:35
Speaker 3: really interesting is a federal judge in Minneapolis has barred
• 12:38
Speaker 3: DHS agents from arresting what they describe as peaceful protesters
• 12:43
Speaker 3: who are not suspected of crimes or obstructing officers after
• 12:48
Speaker 3: residents alleged violations of their constitucial rights while observing or
• 12:52
Speaker 3: protesting immigration raids. NOMES fraud allegations also arrive against the
• 12:58
Speaker 3: backdrop of Minnesota's law running Feeding Our Future case high
• 13:03
Speaker 3: profile federal investigation tied to pandemic era child nutrition programs.
• 13:09
Speaker 3: What we know about this is shocking. Minnesota's Office of
• 13:12
Speaker 3: the Legislative Auditor summarized that the US Department of Justice
• 13:16
Speaker 3: has now charged not ten, not twenty, not thirty, not forty,
• 13:20
Speaker 3: not fifty, not sixty, but seventy individuals between September of
• 13:25
Speaker 3: twenty twenty two and February of twenty twenty four in
• 13:28
Speaker 3: connection with US suspected two hundred and fifty million dollars
• 13:34
Speaker 3: scheme involving federally funded nutrition programs, and said the alleged
• 13:39
Speaker 3: fraud centered on the Minnesota nonprofit Feeding Our Future. Waltz's
• 13:45
Speaker 3: office previously said it had not received notice of the
• 13:49
Speaker 3: Justice Department's investigation, while Fry said the probe appears aimed
• 13:55
Speaker 3: at just intimidating him for opposing what he called dangerous
• 13:58
Speaker 3: federal actions in his city. One thing is for sure,
• 14:03
Speaker 3: the Trump administration is not backing down, and because of
• 14:07
Speaker 3: President Trump's leadership, others are doing their jobs the way
• 14:11
Speaker 3: they're supposed to. That includes Christy Nome, the FBI, and
• 14:16
Speaker 3: Cashpartel and many others who are now going to hold
• 14:19
Speaker 3: those accountable in Minnesota for the crimes that they've committed
• 14:23
Speaker 3: and that, my friends, is far from quote intimidation, even
• 14:28
Speaker 3: if CNN lies to you and says otherwise.
