Speaker 1: Wow, Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of the NFL
0:13
Speaker 1: Fantasy Football Show. It's me and your man MG Marcus
0:16
Speaker 1: Grant joined by Michael F. Florio and Lakwan Jones. Welcome
0:19
Speaker 1: to Week twelve, gentlemen, the week before Thanksgiving. So it's hey,
0:24
Speaker 1: it's getting close to the end, right, We got.
0:28
Speaker 2: Two more weeks of buys and that's it. So like
0:31
Speaker 2: that's almost behind us international games behind, like we were
0:34
Speaker 2: in the thick of Like, you better start winning again
0:37
Speaker 2: in the playoffs.
0:37
Speaker 1: Because you're running out of time. Yeah. The trade deadline
0:41
Speaker 1: in NFL dot Com standard leagues actually hits on Friday,
0:44
Speaker 1: so you've got a few more hours essentially to put
0:48
Speaker 1: those trade offers out there and get them accepted or rejected,
0:51
Speaker 1: I guess is the case might be, and get ready
0:54
Speaker 1: for the rest of the regular season. I mean, LQ,
0:58
Speaker 1: it's it's it's as it's not cutting time right now.
1:02
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, stack them win season and honestly, look, I
1:05
Speaker 3: know some rosters out there are wounded, but do not
1:07
Speaker 3: give up all right. I've seen teams turn it around
1:10
Speaker 3: at the midway point and make some trade deadline buzzet beaters,
1:14
Speaker 3: So absolutely make some moves with the last couple of
1:16
Speaker 3: hours that you guys got, because you have to realize
1:19
Speaker 3: once the trade deadline is up and it's done, this
1:22
Speaker 3: is your championship roster that you're looking to bring it
1:24
Speaker 3: home with.
1:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, this is it for the rest of the season
1:27
Speaker 1: at this point. Besides, even if you are not in
1:29
Speaker 1: playoff contention, stick with it because sometimes knocking your friends
1:33
Speaker 1: and family out of the playoffs can be just as
1:35
Speaker 1: satisfying as running in the playoffs yourself.
1:38
Speaker 2: I don't know about you, guys, and most of my leagues.
1:41
Speaker 2: If you're well, we've played eleven, if you're five and
1:44
Speaker 2: six or six and five.
1:45
Speaker 1: You're like right there. So if you go two in
1:48
Speaker 1: one or three and zero, like you're very much so
1:50
Speaker 1: and it's still got a shot at it. So keep
1:52
Speaker 1: going regardless of what your situation is. We got plenty
1:55
Speaker 1: to talk about, of course on the show today, we've
1:57
Speaker 1: got starts and Sits four. Week twelve, we dive into
2:00
Speaker 1: the best and worst playoff schedules for running backs and
2:03
Speaker 1: wide receivers. Plus we check in with cam Wolf and
2:06
Speaker 1: give you our hot takes for the week. So let's
2:09
Speaker 1: get started with the Week twelve Starts and six of course,
2:12
Speaker 1: you can read all of Mike Michael Leflorio's work on
2:16
Speaker 1: NFL dot com slash, start and sit. So let's get
2:18
Speaker 1: going with the quarterback position. Who's up who's down this week?
2:22
Speaker 2: If Jackson Dart's playing for the Giants, I think he
2:24
Speaker 2: plays for you. Even if they ask him to run less,
2:27
Speaker 2: I don't think he's going to run zero, so he
2:29
Speaker 2: still brings value.
2:30
Speaker 1: With his legs.
2:31
Speaker 2: Jared Goff is a must start for me since the
2:34
Speaker 2: start of last season, thirty touchdowns, one interception against man coverage,
2:37
Speaker 2: and the Giants play man at the highest rate in
2:40
Speaker 2: the NFL. Jacoby pres said is averaging twenty one fantasy
2:43
Speaker 2: points per game as a starter. Alan Mahomes and Jackson
2:46
Speaker 2: Dart as a starter are the only quarterbacks to top
2:49
Speaker 2: that number. And then Caleb. This is just a favorable matchup.
2:52
Speaker 2: The Steelers have been struggling against the pass lately, but
2:56
Speaker 2: Caleb has been very up and down as well. And
2:58
Speaker 2: in the six Dak is ao icy one. But the
3:00
Speaker 2: Eagles have allowed the fewest touchdowns passes in the NFL
3:03
Speaker 2: and they've been much better as of late at getting
3:06
Speaker 2: after quarterbacks.
3:08
Speaker 1: Daniel Jones because the Chiefs.
3:09
Speaker 2: Are in the bottom five and touchdowns of fantasy points
3:11
Speaker 2: a lot of quarterbacks. Jordan Love, I'm a little nervous
3:14
Speaker 2: because he's good against the Blitz, but the floor has
3:17
Speaker 2: been really low in the ceiling has been inconsistent. And
3:21
Speaker 2: then Trevor Lawrence. I know lately the fantasy numbers look better,
3:24
Speaker 2: but that's because he's ran for three touchdowns in his
3:27
Speaker 2: last three games.
3:27
Speaker 1: I don't think you could bank on that moving forward. Yeah,
3:29
Speaker 1: I think that's the only way you can get real
3:31
Speaker 1: fantasy production from him is if he runs for a touchdown. Also,
3:34
Speaker 1: Jackson Dart, where we are begging you, Jackson Dart, learn
3:38
Speaker 1: to slide. Just learn to slide. I said, we're glad
3:43
Speaker 1: that you're running. It's great for us in fantasy. Please
3:46
Speaker 1: do not treat this assignment like you or a crash
3:49
Speaker 1: test dummy. That's all right, Jackson Dart, Jeremy Giambi. Two
3:53
Speaker 1: athletes who don't know how to slide. That hurts my heart.
3:56
Speaker 1: Someone who rows an A's fan, I'm sorry, it hurts
3:58
Speaker 1: my heart. Laqwan has no idea who that's and that is?
4:01
Speaker 1: Where is that is that? Like? A? Is that a
4:04
Speaker 1: baseball player from Hay Arnold. Is that who that was?
4:06
Speaker 1: That is where the legend of Derek Jeter really grew
4:10
Speaker 1: because of Jeremy. Jeremy Jobby slides. Okay, Yankee's lose. That's
4:15
Speaker 1: enough of that. Anyway, he'd go on a whole rant
4:19
Speaker 1: about this to die breaking a leg, it's a whole thing.
4:22
Speaker 1: Slide Jeremy slide. Caleb williams uh O Kwan. Maybe it's
4:27
Speaker 1: not super like lights out right. I don't know that
4:30
Speaker 1: he's reached the elite fantasy quarterback status, but he's playing well.
4:34
Speaker 1: He's on pace for four thousand yards. Has he reached
4:37
Speaker 1: the point of being a guy you feel like you
4:39
Speaker 1: can trust every week?
4:41
Speaker 3: No, And I'm actually not trusting him this week. I'm
4:45
Speaker 3: a little hesitating because look the Steelers these last couple
4:48
Speaker 3: of weeks. Man, the last three games, it looks like
4:49
Speaker 3: they've been getting it together. They've been very disruptive. And
4:52
Speaker 3: I think what's important when we're looking at Caleb in
4:55
Speaker 3: that pocket is how often he's rolling out With this
4:58
Speaker 3: defense being top three in sacks, they are finishing the sacks,
5:01
Speaker 3: they're being disruptive because last time I checked, TJ. Watts
5:04
Speaker 3: still pretty good. They have eleven takeaways, eight sacks in
5:09
Speaker 3: the last three games. And I'm looking at what they've
5:11
Speaker 3: been doing to these quarterbacks, justin Herbert, Joe Flacco, Daniel Jones.
5:16
Speaker 3: They have held them to an average of fourteen fantasy
5:18
Speaker 3: points in the last three games. This is scary work man. Honestly,
5:22
Speaker 3: I'm looking at this matchup. If I can get away
5:24
Speaker 3: from it, I probably will.
5:27
Speaker 1: That that makes me sad.
5:28
Speaker 2: So next week the Bears play on Friday. He might
5:32
Speaker 2: be at usc ucl A next week.
5:34
Speaker 1: Oh well, he could be. He could be at the
5:38
Speaker 1: at the Coliseum at the Collie next week, potentially, depending
5:41
Speaker 1: on what Collie that's what you guys call it for real?
5:43
Speaker 1: Well Collie, that didn't sound right? Why not? I'm not judging,
5:47
Speaker 1: obviously you are. But anyway, we're gonna move on. Doesn't
5:50
Speaker 1: sound cool? Does sound like a cool place to hang?
5:53
Speaker 1: So here's the thing. So you're not starting Caleb Williams.
5:56
Speaker 1: Does this mean you're not sitting Daniel Jones this week?
6:00
Speaker 3: Yes, that is the other one that I'm giving a
6:02
Speaker 3: little pushback on. I'm starting my guy, Danny Dimes. Okay,
6:05
Speaker 3: they're the new bullies in the AFC. I mean the Chiefs.
6:07
Speaker 3: We understand they're mad, but I'm hoping that Daniel Jones
6:11
Speaker 3: in this bye week hit the reset button and get
6:13
Speaker 3: back to his winning ways, because Dan Jones is actually
6:15
Speaker 3: five to one in the games that he has over
6:17
Speaker 3: seventy percent of his past is being completed. And we
6:20
Speaker 3: know the Chiefs man they are struggling in that department.
6:23
Speaker 3: They have the third highest completion percentage allowed to the
6:26
Speaker 3: quarterback position this season. So looking at this matchup, Daniel
6:30
Speaker 3: Jones is the last one you want to complete balls,
6:33
Speaker 3: convert on first downs and making the opportunity to score
6:38
Speaker 3: at a high rate, especially with two deep threats in
6:40
Speaker 3: the Michael Pittman and Alec Peters. I do think having
6:44
Speaker 3: Tyler Warren and JT as Spags's top assignments to worry about.
6:48
Speaker 3: I think this is a game where Danian Jones responds
6:50
Speaker 3: back as a QB one against a Spags defense.
6:53
Speaker 1: All right, so then obviously you've got him in the
6:55
Speaker 1: top twelve quarterbacks as he middle of the pack, bottom
6:59
Speaker 1: of the pack. Dare I say top of the pack
7:04
Speaker 1: the top of the fact.
7:04
Speaker 3: Now I won't get too crazy now I say middle
7:07
Speaker 3: of the pack, But I do think I feel comfortable
7:09
Speaker 3: starting a Daniel Jones over at Kayleb Williams and maybe
7:12
Speaker 3: even over Jordan Love like Florio has on his sits
7:15
Speaker 3: like Dania Jones to me, feels like he's always doubted
7:18
Speaker 3: week in and week out, but he has shown as
7:20
Speaker 3: nothing but a comeback player of the Year this year.
7:23
Speaker 3: How he has overcome some of these difficult defenses this season?
7:27
Speaker 1: Has he though he has.
7:28
Speaker 2: Struggled against good defense, like you go through his game
7:31
Speaker 2: log and he's gone off against good matchups and two
7:35
Speaker 2: touchdowns four interceptions last two games against the Falcons Steelers.
7:38
Speaker 1: I'm just saying, look, Jones, just stick together. I get it.
7:42
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna knock it. There you go, there you go.
7:45
Speaker 1: Mac Jones, Dan Jones, Lakwan Jones, Jack Jones, who was
7:48
Speaker 1: on Good Morning Football this morning. A. No, I feel
7:50
Speaker 1: like Mac Jones didn't fit into that category this year. Yeah,
7:53
Speaker 1: you didn't like it. I don't think you liked make
7:54
Speaker 1: Jones this year.
7:55
Speaker 3: I don't like Mac in the uniform he's wearing. But
7:57
Speaker 3: Mac is still good in my book, and I hope
7:59
Speaker 3: he gets the big back next season.
8:00
Speaker 1: All right, So he's down with Michael mccorky Jones. That's
8:03
Speaker 1: a mark it off right there. Let's move over to
8:06
Speaker 1: running backs, though, who do you like this week? Floria?
8:08
Speaker 1: Who do you not want?
8:10
Speaker 2: No surprise? I really like Trevon Henderson. Even if Stevenson
8:13
Speaker 2: is back, I think he should be the RB one.
8:16
Speaker 2: But I do think it matters when you're playing the
8:17
Speaker 2: Cincinnati Bengals David Montgomery for the second time in like
8:21
Speaker 2: a six week span. Dan Campbell has come out of
8:23
Speaker 2: been like, we need to get Monty more involved, and
8:26
Speaker 2: it is a great matchup against the Giants. And then
8:28
Speaker 2: Kenneth Walker not only did we see him play more,
8:32
Speaker 2: he had more carries, snaps, targets, and he had a
8:34
Speaker 2: goal line look last week. And then Mike McDonald came
8:36
Speaker 2: out and was like he deserves more work. And then
8:39
Speaker 2: and it's a great matchup against the Titans, and then
8:41
Speaker 2: the Sis Javonte Williams. Look, the Eagles defense is not
8:45
Speaker 2: the same that it was in Week one. Jalen Carter
8:47
Speaker 2: is gonna be playing, and they've just been so much
8:49
Speaker 2: better as of late, especially adding pieces. I think the
8:54
Speaker 2: Giants running backs are just splitting so much down the
8:57
Speaker 2: middle that it makes it really tough to trust. Either
8:59
Speaker 2: one is more than to flex and this is a
9:01
Speaker 2: game against a tough run defense where they're probably going
9:03
Speaker 2: to be playing from behind Rashad White. I don't know
9:06
Speaker 2: if Bucky Irving is going to play or not at
9:09
Speaker 2: the time of this recording, but either way, I want
9:11
Speaker 2: no parts of Rashad White against the Rams defense. And
9:14
Speaker 2: then Tony Pollard like he has not even been in
9:18
Speaker 2: an RB two since Taj Spears returns, and he gets
9:20
Speaker 2: such a tough matchup against the Seahawks.
9:23
Speaker 1: That's funny. You mentioned Jalen Carter and he started that game,
9:26
Speaker 1: except he didn't start that game because he Jamar chased
9:30
Speaker 1: Dak Prescott before things got going, got ejected from the
9:34
Speaker 1: ball game.
9:34
Speaker 2: We would have thought that wouldn't be the biggest spit story,
9:37
Speaker 2: Like two spits in one season.
9:39
Speaker 1: Has that happened? It's wild that we've had it twice
9:43
Speaker 1: now in this season.
9:44
Speaker 4: Wow.
9:46
Speaker 1: I do like any Montgomery and bounce back this week.
9:49
Speaker 1: In fact, we're gonna have some hot takes later on
9:51
Speaker 1: in the show. I will tell you that I'm big
9:52
Speaker 1: on the Lions this week. We'll get to that a
9:54
Speaker 1: little bit. Kenneth Walker, though LQ, I know that I
9:59
Speaker 1: was early on the Zach Charbonay train. It has been
10:02
Speaker 1: a very slow moving train with a whole lot of
10:04
Speaker 1: stops to be repaired along the way. It has not
10:07
Speaker 1: been great. Does this mean that Kenneth Walker train might
10:09
Speaker 1: be surpassing it now?
10:12
Speaker 3: I would say I'm still a little hesitant, like I
10:14
Speaker 3: don't know if I can fully trust it. But you're
10:16
Speaker 3: liking what you're seeing. Like in the last four games,
10:18
Speaker 3: he's out touched Zach Sharbonay. We've seen more red zone
10:21
Speaker 3: opportunities for you know, Kenneth Walker. We're seeing him be
10:24
Speaker 3: just as explosives that we know he can be, being
10:26
Speaker 3: put in position to find success. It's wild that he's
10:30
Speaker 3: gotten this explosive run on my rams defense right here,
10:33
Speaker 3: but it's one of those things.
10:34
Speaker 1: That it's part of what makes him great.
10:36
Speaker 3: It's on his trade belt and his utility belt where
10:39
Speaker 3: he can whip it out at any time and become dangerous.
10:42
Speaker 3: It's nice to see that he's still running routes, he's
10:44
Speaker 3: getting targets and opportunities in the passing game. So this
10:47
Speaker 3: is great for PPR League. So at the end of
10:49
Speaker 3: the day, how I look at it is like I'm
10:51
Speaker 3: being very hesitant. He brings flex appeal, but nothing above
10:54
Speaker 3: that where I'm benching guys that are like by RB
10:56
Speaker 3: one or two.
10:57
Speaker 1: All right, so we're getting a little bit more about
11:00
Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker. So that's pretty good. I do have to
11:01
Speaker 1: ask you real quick, where are we on the the
11:04
Speaker 1: Hindo middle meter. I don't know if you have it handy.
11:07
Speaker 1: I didn't ask you about it ahead of time. That's
11:08
Speaker 1: my min But of course it's right there. It's always
11:13
Speaker 1: at the top.
11:13
Speaker 3: Look, man, he's surpassed and I mean, look, we've retired
11:17
Speaker 3: Trevor mid Lawrence. I mean we kind of understand and
11:19
Speaker 3: know that, but the middle meter. Yeah, look, Endo, he's
11:23
Speaker 3: gained the trust. And I hope that when Stevenson does
11:26
Speaker 3: come back that, you know, Mike Rabel, he kind of
11:28
Speaker 3: does the right thing.
11:29
Speaker 4: You know.
11:29
Speaker 1: I would just say that does the right.
11:31
Speaker 3: Thing to help the fancy streets and feed us all
11:33
Speaker 3: the Traveon Henderson fans.
11:35
Speaker 1: Which which player are you.
11:36
Speaker 2: Going to go to Staples next and next them to
11:38
Speaker 2: print out head shot?
11:41
Speaker 1: He is at my local library. Actually, you know, this
11:46
Speaker 1: guy just going to your printing random dudes on a
11:50
Speaker 1: list that way, Laura's got Davonte Williams as a set.
11:55
Speaker 1: Javonte has been one of the pleasant surprises of the
11:57
Speaker 1: fantasy season, right And I say that. Look, I loved
12:00
Speaker 1: him coming out of college. I was sort of ready
12:02
Speaker 1: to kind of, you know, put it to rest. But
12:04
Speaker 1: he's played really well this year. Do you trust him
12:06
Speaker 1: against the Eagles defense? HELQ you, I feel like I can.
12:10
Speaker 3: And I say that because what remains the same is
12:13
Speaker 3: that the Cowboys, this is a top three offense. They're
12:15
Speaker 3: going to have a lot of scoring opportunities being striking
12:18
Speaker 3: diitions where we know Javonte Williams all he has to
12:21
Speaker 3: do is fall on the end zone.
12:23
Speaker 1: But it's kind of hard.
12:24
Speaker 3: To sit him this week if you don't have any
12:26
Speaker 3: better options, because you'll be benching a guy who's actually
12:28
Speaker 3: been productive in his last two games on the ground,
12:31
Speaker 3: I mean over eighty yards and back to back games,
12:33
Speaker 3: but he just hasn't found the end zone in those games.
12:35
Speaker 3: So therefore it looks like he is a hard sit.
12:38
Speaker 3: But I'm going against the grain here, Sorry, Flurial. This
12:41
Speaker 3: is twice in a row that I'm not agreeing with
12:42
Speaker 3: one in your sitts. But I don't feel like I
12:44
Speaker 3: have any other pivot options other than a Javonte Williams
12:48
Speaker 3: where he's held us down for majority of the season,
12:50
Speaker 3: especially where he was being drafted in the summer. So
12:53
Speaker 3: I think, right now, if I don't have any better options,
12:56
Speaker 3: if I don't have any safer floors, then I got
12:58
Speaker 3: to go rock with my guy that is actually getting
13:00
Speaker 3: it done on the ground.
13:01
Speaker 1: So I do say that in the article.
13:02
Speaker 2: I'm like this, he's not a must it like it
13:05
Speaker 2: is if you have someone else on your bench that
13:08
Speaker 2: you feel comfortable like you could plug in. Like maybe
13:10
Speaker 2: if it's a flex option like Christian Watson or that
13:13
Speaker 2: was the first thing that came to up, or maybe
13:14
Speaker 2: Travion was on your something like that, then then yeah.
13:17
Speaker 2: But if you have no other options or you're like
13:19
Speaker 2: going deep, then I think you just take the shot
13:21
Speaker 2: on Javonte.
13:22
Speaker 1: All right, So there you go. It's not a hard
13:24
Speaker 1: and fast rule here that you're gonna sit Javonte Williams.
13:27
Speaker 1: Just kind of play it by situation. See see how
13:30
Speaker 1: things go bout some more starts and since for you
13:32
Speaker 1: coming up a little bit later on in the show.
13:34
Speaker 1: But when we come back get into our week twelve previews, Loo,
13:38
Speaker 1: can you get some big matchups on Sunday Night and
13:40
Speaker 1: Monday night as well. That's all coming up next on
13:43
Speaker 1: the NFL Fantasy Football Show. Time to check out the
13:49
Speaker 1: first to score odds for the Sunday night matchup between
13:52
Speaker 1: the Buccaneers and the Rams. Let's go Kirens, Davantae Adams
13:57
Speaker 1: and Puka Kua, all with a fairly similar odds to
14:00
Speaker 1: score the first touchdown. When we get a pair of
14:02
Speaker 1: Bucks after that, a Mega Buka and Rashad Whites. I
14:06
Speaker 1: suspect that if Bucky Irving is playing, that Rashad White
14:09
Speaker 1: number changes significantly. But anyway, uh lukwan, which are the
14:14
Speaker 1: three Rams do you think scoring to score a touchdown first?
14:17
Speaker 1: Because I know you're not gonna pick a Buck.
14:19
Speaker 3: I was gonna say all of them, but I'm gonna
14:21
Speaker 3: say DeVante Adams.
14:22
Speaker 1: He's a score the first touchdown. I know, I thought
14:26
Speaker 1: you said who was going to score?
14:27
Speaker 3: But all of them are going to score a touchdown
14:29
Speaker 3: this weekend because the Bucks had the worst, one of
14:31
Speaker 3: the worst red zone you know, defenses in the NFL.
14:34
Speaker 3: So I think, honestly, when you have a Rams offense
14:37
Speaker 3: that's in striking distance often and be able to execute
14:40
Speaker 3: at a high level, DeVante Adams for sure is going
14:42
Speaker 3: to be one the first to score.
14:43
Speaker 2: I used to blame Aaron Rodgers and be like he's
14:45
Speaker 2: a goal on touchdown merchant. Now I think it's just
14:48
Speaker 2: DeVante Adams because him and Stafford lead the league by
14:51
Speaker 2: far in goal on touchdowns this year. So like I
14:53
Speaker 2: think DeVante is like when we get down there, just
14:55
Speaker 2: I got you.
14:56
Speaker 1: I believe the stat I saw was his last seven
14:58
Speaker 1: touchdowns have all been inside the five. They've all been
15:01
Speaker 1: with the Rams leading. I mean, I don't care like
15:05
Speaker 1: you say, like I started on hands, I don't really
15:06
Speaker 1: care when or how they show up. I'm just glad
15:09
Speaker 1: to have them. Just a weird statu I see. I
15:12
Speaker 1: see the Kwan's brain, like I see the steam I
15:14
Speaker 1: started to come out like it's not it's not a
15:18
Speaker 1: shot at your team, it is merely heading for an MV. Yes,
15:23
Speaker 1: because first there I see there it is years.
15:27
Speaker 3: I hate in the tone like, folks, are we listening
15:30
Speaker 3: to this MVP?
15:33
Speaker 2: MVP I will say, I'm not even pushing for Josh.
15:37
Speaker 2: I'm pushing for JT.
15:38
Speaker 1: Right now.
15:39
Speaker 2: He's on pace for twenty nine touchdowns and twenty four
15:42
Speaker 2: hundred yards.
15:43
Speaker 1: That's kind of an insane number. I'm pushing for that.
15:46
Speaker 1: That's nasty.
15:46
Speaker 3: You're trying to make me go against my Jersey brother.
15:49
Speaker 3: That's nasty that you're trying to do that. But I
15:51
Speaker 3: will be okay with the Jonathan Taylor campaign of MVP.
15:55
Speaker 3: But we all know it's Matthew Stafford.
15:57
Speaker 2: He's discovered it's his to lose right now.
16:00
Speaker 1: Look at the Bucks and Rams on Sunday night. You
16:01
Speaker 1: can see that game on NBC at eight twenty pm
16:04
Speaker 1: Eastern time. We're still not sure, at least as of
16:08
Speaker 1: us are doing this, whether or not Bucky Irving is
16:10
Speaker 1: going to play. He is back at practice, so that
16:12
Speaker 1: is a positive sign. John Tucker's been great the last
16:15
Speaker 1: few weeks, but why can you start, Sean Tucker. If
16:18
Speaker 1: Bucky Irving is back, he would be a big play,
16:21
Speaker 1: reliant flexop like a low floor.
16:24
Speaker 2: But you're like, I'm decimated with injuries or buys or
16:27
Speaker 2: something like that, and I just want to take an
16:29
Speaker 2: upside shot. He's kind of to me, would be like
16:32
Speaker 2: the running back equivalent of like a what Alec Pierce
16:35
Speaker 2: was earlier in the year, or Booty for the Patriots,
16:39
Speaker 2: where like we know the floor is very low, but
16:41
Speaker 2: if he hits, the ceiling is very high. Because the Rams, Look,
16:45
Speaker 2: I'm gonna say nice things about your team, LQ. They
16:47
Speaker 2: have been one of the best defenses against running backs, like.
16:51
Speaker 1: In every category. So the floor is low. But because
16:55
Speaker 1: of how explosive a runner he is, he always brings
16:57
Speaker 1: upside all right, So there's an opportunity potentially for Sean Tucker.
17:01
Speaker 1: Of course, we'll keep an eye on Bucky Irving's status
17:03
Speaker 1: as we get a little bit closer to Sunday. On
17:06
Speaker 1: the other side, running back situation in Los Angeles, LQ,
17:10
Speaker 1: we know you sort of have the tortured relationship with
17:14
Speaker 1: Kien Williams. How you feel about him with the Rams,
17:17
Speaker 1: Blake Korn starting to get more work. If you are
17:20
Speaker 1: a Kien Williams manager, should you be concerned about how
17:24
Speaker 1: much we're seeing Blake Korum.
17:26
Speaker 3: No, because we're seeing Blake Korum being utilized in the
17:29
Speaker 3: red zone and not finding much success. Like you quickly
17:32
Speaker 3: see them turn to Kiren to go to the ara
17:34
Speaker 3: where striking distance where it managed to put six points,
17:37
Speaker 3: and I think that is the gap between him. Coremony
17:40
Speaker 3: has one touchdown this season, right, and we saw him
17:42
Speaker 3: last week get back to back opportunities to try to
17:45
Speaker 3: punch it into the goal line, but he's been struggling.
17:47
Speaker 3: So I think honestly the touchdownsers were making this divide.
17:50
Speaker 3: And also notably, Kyen has three receiving touchdowns this season,
17:54
Speaker 3: like nobody's really talking about that, and even last season.
17:58
Speaker 3: I mean last week he had a thirty yard run.
18:01
Speaker 3: Like he's looked a lot more explosive than we've seen
18:04
Speaker 3: him last season. He's holding onto the ball. So I
18:06
Speaker 3: do think at the end of the day, I like
18:08
Speaker 3: this two man system that Sean McVay is leaning into.
18:11
Speaker 3: This is exactly what we need. We need to have
18:13
Speaker 3: two different dynamics of what they can do, and now
18:16
Speaker 3: we're seeing them to kind of get in rhythm of
18:18
Speaker 3: how they want to be utilized in the game together.
18:21
Speaker 1: I think we've seen a real two man rotation for
18:22
Speaker 1: the Rams, probably since the cam Akers like Darryl Henderson days.
18:26
Speaker 3: It feels like, yeah, Malcolm Brown in the mix of
18:28
Speaker 3: three headed monster, I'm cool if we put in Darqu's
18:31
Speaker 3: hunter under least the cowboy man.
18:32
Speaker 1: Let's go No, what do you mean?
18:35
Speaker 2: No?
18:35
Speaker 1: Come on, man, I want to see it. No, because
18:38
Speaker 1: you know we can't handle a three headed running back
18:40
Speaker 1: situation for fans, that's a terrible idea for fantasy. This
18:44
Speaker 1: is not about your team right now. This is a
18:45
Speaker 1: fantasy football show, Lakwan Jones. We were talking about that
18:49
Speaker 1: help you have a RAMS podcast. You talk about that
18:51
Speaker 1: on your RAMS podcast. We're gonna talk about the things
18:54
Speaker 1: that help our selfish math game. That's what we're doing.
18:56
Speaker 1: That's what we're doing here. That's the whole show. Let's
18:58
Speaker 1: go darkus unlock him. Why are you the way that
19:03
Speaker 1: you are diving into the Monday night football game between
19:10
Speaker 1: the Carolina Panthers and the San Francisco forty nine Ers.
19:12
Speaker 1: You can see that game a fifteen pm Eastern on
19:15
Speaker 1: the Four Letter Network. Also, I guess ABC and ESPN
19:19
Speaker 1: Deportes if that is your particular flavor there. So, Lauria,
19:22
Speaker 1: when you look at this, I know you like Bryce
19:24
Speaker 1: Young as a start this week, no surprise seeing what
19:26
Speaker 1: the forty nine ers defense has done. But let's say
19:28
Speaker 1: you're putting together a daily fantasy lineup. Choose your fighter,
19:32
Speaker 1: Bryce Young or Brock Party this week.
19:35
Speaker 2: Like I like Bryce Young in the sense of like
19:37
Speaker 2: if you are streaming quarterbacks or you're in need of
19:40
Speaker 2: a sleeper or a bi week injury replacement, anything along
19:43
Speaker 2: those lines. But I'm gonna go with Brock Perdy because
19:46
Speaker 2: the thing you were talking about earlier on the on
19:49
Speaker 2: the Week Marguez, he were saying that not like, not
19:52
Speaker 2: only has Perdy looked himself in this game three touchdown passes,
19:56
Speaker 2: what I really like is he was a mobile in
19:59
Speaker 2: the pockets, So that was good to see. But they
20:02
Speaker 2: got all their weapons back now for really the first
20:04
Speaker 2: time all years. So we're just starting to see what
20:07
Speaker 2: this Niners offense. It's crazy that we're in week twelve
20:09
Speaker 2: and we're like, well, this is what we thought it
20:11
Speaker 2: could have been like all the way back in Week one,
20:13
Speaker 2: but here we are.
20:14
Speaker 1: I'll throw a quick.
20:15
Speaker 2: One at you, guys. I have to decide this in
20:17
Speaker 2: the league. Brock party or Dak Prescott, Dak Brock. That's
20:21
Speaker 2: the way I'm leaning to Brock. Well, I I don't
20:24
Speaker 2: trust you, Lukwan, because I think I could Kirk Cousins
20:28
Speaker 2: and you would have said.
20:30
Speaker 1: Purdy. Yeah, you could have said Vince Young, Seawan Mayne,
20:33
Speaker 1: Austin Davis. I would have went back. Sam Bradford, Yes,
20:37
Speaker 1: Sam Bradford, Sam we're provoking Sammy Sleeves right now in
20:43
Speaker 1: this whole thing. So all right, So then, having heard
20:47
Speaker 1: your answer to that, it is with great trepidation that
20:50
Speaker 1: I now ask you this question, lakwan. Let's say you
20:52
Speaker 1: are putting together a lineup and looking for a say,
20:55
Speaker 1: a DFS flex or something like that, or a pass catcher.
20:59
Speaker 3: You go Ten McMillan or George Kittle. I'm going with
21:03
Speaker 3: the obvious here, Tetro McMillan. But I'm not trolling when
21:05
Speaker 3: I say this, though, because because listen, yeah, of course
21:10
Speaker 3: I'm not picking or siding with the whiners. I'm not
21:12
Speaker 3: aknop man, I'm not sigdning with well, I'm just saying,
21:18
Speaker 3: but I'm not trolling when I say this though. With
21:20
Speaker 3: Tetro McMillan last week putting up a buck thirty and
21:22
Speaker 3: two touchdowns, it seems like when this guy enters the
21:25
Speaker 3: end zone once another touchdown is following. So I hope
21:28
Speaker 3: he puts up four touchdowns this week. Obviously double up
21:32
Speaker 3: this week. But the good thing that we're seeing with
21:34
Speaker 3: Bryce Young is that him and Tetro McMillan are starting
21:37
Speaker 3: to build this chemistry. They're starting to get on time
21:39
Speaker 3: and be on the same page. So I'm banking on
21:42
Speaker 3: the momentum that they're leaving last week going into this
21:44
Speaker 3: week in a game that I think they could win.
21:47
Speaker 3: I mean, we're at six wins right now for the Panthers.
21:50
Speaker 3: This is the most that Bryce has filed success in Carolina.
21:53
Speaker 3: So I do think they're building something special right now.
21:55
Speaker 3: And that defense you have to respect right now as well.
21:59
Speaker 1: Okay, do you picked him for the exact reason, the
22:01
Speaker 1: exact reason we thought you'd way to pick him. No,
22:03
Speaker 1: I'm saying he is the better option.
22:05
Speaker 4: Man.
22:06
Speaker 3: You gotta respect the Carolina Panthers defense, and Kittle's going
22:09
Speaker 3: to be number one top priority the shut down. I'm
22:12
Speaker 3: not believing in a Kendrick Warner or Jawan Jennings. I'm
22:14
Speaker 3: not signing with them. I don't think they make enough
22:16
Speaker 3: noise this weekend to be popped up into fantasy rosters.
22:19
Speaker 1: That's that's why I didn't put them in the question.
22:21
Speaker 1: That's what.
22:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just saying, I gotta make sure I just
22:24
Speaker 3: do a clean sweep of get the winish players out
22:26
Speaker 3: of my face.
22:27
Speaker 1: You know, I just gotta get him out the way.
22:29
Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, go back through that analysis, take what
22:32
Speaker 1: you need from it, and make your decisions accordingly. It
22:36
Speaker 1: gets us to some more starts and sits. Look at
22:38
Speaker 1: it's some wide receivers, Floria. Who do you like? Who
22:40
Speaker 1: are you avoiding this week?
22:41
Speaker 2: There was once upon a time where the Eagles guys
22:44
Speaker 2: were like obvious starts.
22:45
Speaker 1: Not anymore.
22:46
Speaker 2: But I do think this week you get him in
22:48
Speaker 2: your lineup against the Cowboys, who've just been torched by
22:51
Speaker 2: pass catchers Roma Dunes. The Steelers have struggled against out
22:55
Speaker 2: wide wide receivers. They've struggled at times against the deep ball,
22:59
Speaker 2: and more importantly, since Week seven, the most yards allowed
23:02
Speaker 2: two receivers. Jamison Williams. He has thrived as of late,
23:06
Speaker 2: getting more usage, and the Giants have struggled against out
23:08
Speaker 2: wide receivers and on deep passes. You know, he plays
23:11
Speaker 2: out wide and he can excel downfield. We just spoke
23:14
Speaker 2: about McMillan. I do think he is a really good
23:17
Speaker 2: start this week. I don't know if he's better than Kittle.
23:19
Speaker 2: That'll be decided, but I too think you play McMillan
23:23
Speaker 2: and then the six. This is one I think Lakwan
23:25
Speaker 2: is going to disagree with, but I'm looking to get
23:27
Speaker 2: away from the Colts if possible. The Chiefs are really
23:30
Speaker 2: tough against out wide receivers. They don't allow a lot
23:32
Speaker 2: of downfield plays and that is where especially Alec Pierce
23:36
Speaker 2: has made his money. DJ Moore's this one pains me
23:39
Speaker 2: because it is such a good matchup on paper, and
23:42
Speaker 2: I have a couple of teams where I just because
23:44
Speaker 2: of buys and injuries. I'm like, I'm gonna take the
23:46
Speaker 2: shot on DJ Moore. But ideally I think the volume
23:49
Speaker 2: has been awful, so you look to get away. And
23:51
Speaker 2: then Xavier Worthy. I know we were talking earlier this
23:53
Speaker 2: week about like should you drop him or not. I
23:55
Speaker 2: think he is closer to dropping though than starting.
23:59
Speaker 1: It's been rough with Xavier Worthy. Actually let's stay let's
24:03
Speaker 1: stay with that right now. I know we to do
24:04
Speaker 1: the starts first, so let's stay on the set. Since
24:06
Speaker 1: we're talking about Xavier Worthy at this point, Lakwan Floride
24:11
Speaker 1: suggesting he's a drop candidate. I don't necessarily fully disagree
24:15
Speaker 1: with that. Would you try one, I guess, would you
24:18
Speaker 1: make the chance to start him or better yet, would
24:21
Speaker 1: you try to maybe even dangle him into trade just
24:23
Speaker 1: to see if somebody will bite on it. That's what
24:27
Speaker 1: it is. I'm gonna dangle him in a tread.
24:28
Speaker 3: He's an add on in any package that I am
24:30
Speaker 3: trying to acquire a player, because he is beyond like
24:34
Speaker 3: the drop zone. Like I don't even think he's worthy
24:35
Speaker 3: to be in sit articles anymore. Like I don't think
24:38
Speaker 3: we should be even considering him to starting lineups being
24:41
Speaker 3: that it is Rashid Rice in Travis Kelce time. I mean,
24:44
Speaker 3: nobody's really like talking about Travis Kelce being like this
24:48
Speaker 3: top five, you know tight end right now, the yards
24:50
Speaker 3: for reception is literally night and day from what it
24:52
Speaker 3: was last season. So now we're getting more yardage and
24:55
Speaker 3: we're getting touchdowns onno Kelsey, Like he's entering that top
24:58
Speaker 3: three category where the function in operation of this offense
25:01
Speaker 3: is running through Rice and Kelsey. We're worthy as an afterthought.
25:04
Speaker 3: And I told you guys earlier on Monday's episode, Taekwon
25:07
Speaker 3: Thorton if they want to go deep. We've seen Mahomes
25:10
Speaker 3: flex that multiple times in the game, saying, hey, I
25:13
Speaker 3: got a defa in Taekwon Thoron. He may not be
25:15
Speaker 3: a household name, but he's a quand so I got
25:17
Speaker 3: to stick with my guys.
25:20
Speaker 1: I definitely play it. And you mentioned Travis Kelsey. I mean,
25:22
Speaker 1: he's been over ninety yards with a touchdown in two
25:25
Speaker 1: of his last three games, so he's starting to occupy
25:28
Speaker 1: that Kelsey role. Again. We didn't see it earlier in
25:30
Speaker 1: the year. We seeing it lately. Jamison Williams, you know,
25:33
Speaker 1: I know we've all sort of felt better about the
25:36
Speaker 1: fact that Dan Campbell has helped resurrect JMO this week.
25:40
Speaker 1: I said it earlier, I'll say it again. I think
25:41
Speaker 1: this is a big week for the Lions, and I
25:44
Speaker 1: think Jamison Williams is going to eat this week.
25:47
Speaker 3: Keep Dan on the sticks because my boy is fine
25:49
Speaker 3: rhythm and consistency man. And look, it's good to see
25:52
Speaker 3: him out there making big plays in every single catch
25:55
Speaker 3: and every single opportunity that he's being put in. Like
25:58
Speaker 3: we want Jameson Williams to be you to And it's
26:00
Speaker 3: like Dan Campbell just jumping back in that Ben Johnson bag,
26:03
Speaker 3: like he understands and remembers what he likes seeing a
26:06
Speaker 3: ton of Jameson Williams making big plays and David Montgomery
26:10
Speaker 3: being the hammer. These are two players that were starting
26:12
Speaker 3: to see really blossom into more involvement in the offense
26:15
Speaker 3: and giving back to the fancy streets. So absolutely, Jameson
26:18
Speaker 3: Williams is going to be in for a big game
26:21
Speaker 3: this week.
26:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just nice to see it finally happen. It
26:23
Speaker 1: took what eight nine weeks basically, but it seems to
26:26
Speaker 1: be coming around for Jamis.
26:28
Speaker 3: Those shots at Johnny Moto man, I mean, Johnny Moe,
26:31
Speaker 3: he tried to go out there, John mooreen offensive coordinator,
26:33
Speaker 3: he tried to do his thing. But I think Dan
26:35
Speaker 3: Campbell was just really leaning into everything that he loved
26:39
Speaker 3: about the Ben Johnson you know scheme that he had.
26:42
Speaker 1: Sure, I mean I having no real strong feeling about
26:44
Speaker 1: John Morton one way or another other than he should
26:47
Speaker 1: not be confused with the former Lions receiver Johnny Morton.
26:50
Speaker 1: They're two different people completely, but both of them are
26:53
Speaker 1: at USC Johnny Morton as a player, John Morton as
26:56
Speaker 1: an offensive coordinator on don't do it, don't do it.
27:00
Speaker 1: I'm not looking at you. Let's we want a tight
27:02
Speaker 1: ends before who you're starting to sit the tight end
27:04
Speaker 1: this week? Tyler Warren.
27:06
Speaker 2: I just think he's become an absolute must start and
27:08
Speaker 2: the Chiefs are so good at taking away wide receivers
27:12
Speaker 2: that I think the Cults are gonna game plan through
27:14
Speaker 2: Warren and potentially Josh Downs this week. Mark Andrews, because
27:19
Speaker 2: he's been top ten every week since Lamar has returned,
27:21
Speaker 2: with four touchdowns in that three game span. The Jets
27:23
Speaker 2: have allowed these second most touchdowns. And then Hunter Henry.
27:26
Speaker 2: I can tell you that he has six targets in
27:28
Speaker 2: his last two of his last three games. That doesn't matter,
27:31
Speaker 2: It matters he's facing. The Bengals are allowed the most yards,
27:33
Speaker 2: touchdowns and fantasy points. Two tight ends, and then the
27:36
Speaker 2: sits a theme right like, I'm not playing looking to
27:39
Speaker 2: get my Cowboys in outside of the two big receivers
27:42
Speaker 2: if I have other options. Shake Ferguson has become the
27:44
Speaker 2: clear cut third option for them. And the tight ends.
27:47
Speaker 2: The Eagles are great against tight ends. Colson Lovelin, he
27:51
Speaker 2: is showing more as of late, but I do think
27:53
Speaker 2: his numbers are a little inflated by that Bengals game.
27:56
Speaker 2: And then Harold Fannon Junior and David and Joko, we
27:59
Speaker 2: have no idea what Like producer Quapaday came in and
28:01
Speaker 2: was like, what do you think the Browns offense is
28:03
Speaker 2: going to look like with youa door, And I was like, I.
28:05
Speaker 1: Have no idea, So I don't want to start their
28:07
Speaker 1: pass catchers if I can avoid it. Yeah, I mean
28:10
Speaker 1: I definitely you dream the world where Jerry Judy is
28:13
Speaker 1: a sleeper this week, but I could admit that it
28:14
Speaker 1: could possibly go the other way completely real quick, lakwan,
28:19
Speaker 1: where are we on on Mark Andrews? Because I know
28:20
Speaker 1: it hasn't been spectacular, but lately it's been better.
28:23
Speaker 3: No, it's been way better. And I think you know
28:25
Speaker 3: them still designing plays for him. Custom play is the
28:27
Speaker 3: Hurricane last week, Like, yeah, this was his fastest running
28:30
Speaker 3: his career. Remember boy, he's moving over twenty miles per
28:32
Speaker 3: hour on this play. Man, Like, I do think that
28:35
Speaker 3: them designing plays with him. With Lamar back into the fold,
28:38
Speaker 3: I think I can confidently start Mark Andrews. I think
28:41
Speaker 3: even matchup proof can be put on him because they're
28:43
Speaker 3: designing plays for him to be put in positions for success.
28:47
Speaker 3: So I do like him over a lot of Titans
28:49
Speaker 3: this week, and I think obviously with the Jets de
28:51
Speaker 3: lay up matchup, you have to start Mark Andrews as
28:53
Speaker 3: a smashed this week.
28:54
Speaker 1: And then Jake Ferguson LQ. It feels like it's been
28:57
Speaker 1: a long time since he's really been event fantasy wise.
29:01
Speaker 3: Yeah, he's been running into bad matchups against the tight
29:05
Speaker 3: end position. But even last week, I'm not really sold that.
29:07
Speaker 3: You know, yeah, found the end zone, but sixteen yards
29:10
Speaker 3: on five targets, like that's real nasty work. And then
29:13
Speaker 3: this is a division battle where Florio mentioned like it's
29:16
Speaker 3: the crash Bros. It's Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens. That's it,
29:19
Speaker 3: you know, and I think that, you know, with Jake
29:20
Speaker 3: Ferguson has the third option, he doesn't bring that safe
29:23
Speaker 3: floor that he's been bringing, you know, when Cede Lamb
29:26
Speaker 3: was out.
29:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been rough for Ferguring. I believe he's in
29:28
Speaker 1: the last few three or four weeks. I think he's like
29:30
Speaker 1: tight end thirty four or something. It's been pretty bleak
29:34
Speaker 1: for Jake Ferguson lately. There you go starts and sits
29:37
Speaker 1: for more information. You can go to NFL dot com
29:39
Speaker 1: slash Starts, sit and read all of Florio's in depth
29:41
Speaker 1: analysis about all these guys and more time for a break,
29:45
Speaker 1: But when we come back, we'll be sharing the players
29:47
Speaker 1: with the best and worst fantasy playoff schedules. Plus are
29:50
Speaker 1: hot takes for Week twelve, and we'll chat out with
29:52
Speaker 1: Cam Wolf. All Right, the trade deadline coming up of
30:00
Speaker 1: very quickly across NFL dot Com league. So earlier in
30:02
Speaker 1: the week we talked about the best and worst playoff
30:04
Speaker 1: schedules for the quarterback and tied end positions. Today figured
30:08
Speaker 1: we dive into running backs and wide receivers. Just a
30:11
Speaker 1: quick look of the best and worst running back schedules.
30:14
Speaker 1: On the good side, you got the Cardinals, whoever it
30:16
Speaker 1: may be, Bam Knights, Imari de Mercato, whomever will get
30:20
Speaker 1: those opportunities. You got the Tampa running backs, whether it's
30:23
Speaker 1: Bucky Irving, Sean Tucker, I guess, Rashaan White even. You
30:27
Speaker 1: got the Commanders back there with the JCM. You got
30:31
Speaker 1: Chris Rodriguez, you got Jeremy McNichols, Devon a Chan we
30:34
Speaker 1: know he's getting all the work pretty much in Miami,
30:37
Speaker 1: and then Sakwon Barkley with the Eagles. Those are all
30:39
Speaker 1: on the good side. On the bad side of things,
30:42
Speaker 1: it's James Cook. You got the Lions of Sonic and
30:46
Speaker 1: Knuckles there bresee Hall with the Jets, Ashton Gentzi, who's
30:50
Speaker 1: been having a rough go of it in Las Vegas,
30:52
Speaker 1: and then RJ Harvey and whoever else. Sean Payton might
30:56
Speaker 1: pull off the street to give carries at some point
30:58
Speaker 1: in the rest of the season. But any of those
31:01
Speaker 1: names really stand out or any team stand out to
31:04
Speaker 1: you at this point, Lakwan.
31:06
Speaker 3: The Cardinals schedule looks interesting, especially with Trey Benson now
31:10
Speaker 3: returning back. You know, they opened up his practice window,
31:12
Speaker 3: and I think there's still an opportunity for a by
31:14
Speaker 3: low situation here, like a last minute trade right before
31:17
Speaker 3: you know the trade deadline ends, because trading for guys
31:20
Speaker 3: that are coming off an injury, their price seems to
31:23
Speaker 3: be at a discount. And again, we haven't seen him
31:25
Speaker 3: play football in a very long time since Week four
31:27
Speaker 3: with that knee injury, So I think acquiring him with
31:29
Speaker 3: a favorable playoff matchup and you're not gonna have to
31:32
Speaker 3: pay a ton for We know this is a Cardinals
31:34
Speaker 3: offense as elevated now in the offense with Jacoby Brissett,
31:37
Speaker 3: and they still have a need and want to run
31:39
Speaker 3: the ball. So Trey Benson comes back where he looks
31:42
Speaker 3: to be the future of this backfield. I think trade
31:44
Speaker 3: Benson is a great last minute trade that you should
31:46
Speaker 3: be trying to acquire right now.
31:48
Speaker 1: All right, Floria, who are you trading for? Maybe trading away.
31:51
Speaker 2: Tay Kwon Barkley because he hasn't lived up to expectations.
31:54
Speaker 2: He's the RB eleven right now, averaging the same Fantasy
31:57
Speaker 2: points per game as DeAndre Swift, but his schedule is amazing.
32:01
Speaker 2: The Raiders games scrips should be on their side. The
32:04
Speaker 2: Commanders is an amazing matchup. Games scrip should be on
32:06
Speaker 2: their side. And then he could go for two hundred
32:08
Speaker 2: plus against the Bills. So I know you have to
32:11
Speaker 2: give up a lot to get him. But my thinking here,
32:13
Speaker 2: Marcus was like James Cook maybe or Briest hall jenty,
32:17
Speaker 2: you could trade your RB one in a package for
32:21
Speaker 2: Saquon right now, And I do think that is a
32:23
Speaker 2: good idea.
32:24
Speaker 1: All right, So say con potentially, And add despite the
32:27
Speaker 1: frustrations over the Eagles offense, you mentioned James Cook, and
32:30
Speaker 1: I really would be trying to move on from James
32:33
Speaker 1: Cook right now, and it's not about him, It's just
32:35
Speaker 1: about the usage and the way they do that. And
32:37
Speaker 1: we talked earlier in the week it just feels like
32:40
Speaker 1: Joe Brady forgets about him sometimes. I mean, the schedule
32:44
Speaker 1: certainly not great as you look at his postseason setup,
32:47
Speaker 1: No One. He's got to deal with the Patriots, the Browns,
32:49
Speaker 1: and the Eagles in the fantasy playoffs, so that's already
32:52
Speaker 1: sort of one strike against him. But then you just
32:54
Speaker 1: have a play caller that sort of forgets you're there
32:57
Speaker 1: every once in a while. It just seems like a
32:59
Speaker 1: really bad situation. But he is a name enough and
33:03
Speaker 1: he plays in a good enough offense that you will
33:05
Speaker 1: get something in return. So if you decide to put
33:08
Speaker 1: James Cook out there on the trade market, I think
33:11
Speaker 1: you can get a nice return for him, but also
33:12
Speaker 1: sort of relieves you potentially have a headache over those
33:15
Speaker 1: final few weeks of the season. Quickly looking at the
33:17
Speaker 1: wide receivers, the best schedules belong to the Vikings, the Lions.
33:22
Speaker 1: You got the Commanders if only they had wide receivers.
33:24
Speaker 1: Come back to us. Terry McLaurin, the Chargers and the Seahawks.
33:29
Speaker 1: On the downside of things, dealing with the Falcons, who again,
33:32
Speaker 1: Drake London come back to us, sir, The Patriots, the Panthers,
33:35
Speaker 1: the Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs, LaQuan anybody that
33:40
Speaker 1: you are really trying to either add or get away from.
33:44
Speaker 3: I'm trying to get away from the Patriots wide receivers
33:47
Speaker 3: and with that tough playoff schedule. Just being that, I'm
33:50
Speaker 3: looking at how we've been treated this entire season from
33:54
Speaker 3: the fantasy streetson Mike Rabell of being able to trust
33:57
Speaker 3: in k Shron Boody coming back from return. I can
33:59
Speaker 3: get away from a buster boom player, even as Stefan
34:02
Speaker 3: Diggs has shown to be a wide receiver two at times.
34:04
Speaker 3: But with they struggling playoff schedule and I can acquire
34:07
Speaker 3: some better pieces for more stability. I do think that
34:10
Speaker 3: makes me sleep better at night in the fantasy playoffs
34:12
Speaker 3: for sure.
34:13
Speaker 1: All right, Florida, who do you like or not like this?
34:16
Speaker 1: I'm gonna like triple down on this take.
34:18
Speaker 2: I'm going to be trying to trade for Justin Jefferson
34:20
Speaker 2: in my leagues because look at his playoffs. He gets
34:24
Speaker 2: the Commanders Week fourteen as well, I believe it is,
34:27
Speaker 2: and then the Cowboys, Giants, Lions. Those are all games
34:30
Speaker 2: that are won either favorwle matchups who they're going to
34:33
Speaker 2: be trailing in. I know it's been rough with JJ McCarthy,
34:36
Speaker 2: but if I could get Justin Jefferson for cheap right
34:39
Speaker 2: now in that matchup, it's something I'm willing to risk
34:42
Speaker 2: my season on the line because if he hits, he
34:45
Speaker 2: is going to win me a championship.
34:46
Speaker 1: I mean, it's hard to argue going against Justin Jefferson,
34:49
Speaker 1: just with his track record. I'm looking at the Chargers
34:52
Speaker 1: here right, and the schedule on paper is good. You know,
34:56
Speaker 1: You've got the Chiefs, you know, who have been up down,
35:00
Speaker 1: You've got the Cowboys. We know it is a great
35:02
Speaker 1: matchup and even the Texans can be had a little bit.
35:05
Speaker 1: But I would tell you that I would hesitate to
35:07
Speaker 1: add any Chargers receivers, not because of them, but just
35:09
Speaker 1: because of the offensive line there right. You are dealing
35:12
Speaker 1: with two pretty new tackles. They lost for Shaun Slater
35:15
Speaker 1: at the beginning of the year, they lose Joe Alt
35:17
Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago. They're just trying to piece
35:19
Speaker 1: me together. And I think you're gonna be worried about
35:22
Speaker 1: Justin Herbert getting the ball out, which is going to
35:24
Speaker 1: impact the wide receivers. So even though they're potentially gonna
35:28
Speaker 1: get targets. Right, lad McConkey has really stepped up in
35:30
Speaker 1: the last few weeks. Quinton Johnson is still occasionally good
35:33
Speaker 1: for some big plays, even Rondez Gadston, who's doing some
35:37
Speaker 1: good things at the tight end position. I just worry
35:38
Speaker 1: about them down the stretch, just because the quarterback might
35:41
Speaker 1: continually be under pressure. So, even though the schedule might
35:45
Speaker 1: suggest it's worth an ad, I have my concerns about
35:48
Speaker 1: the Chargers going forward there, So happy trading. Hopefully you
35:52
Speaker 1: can net yourself something pretty good to get you through
35:54
Speaker 1: the rest of the regular season and the fantasy playoffs
35:57
Speaker 1: as well. All right, face Bud's ready, It's time for
36:01
Speaker 1: our spicy takes for Week twelve. Lakwana, Mike, am I
36:04
Speaker 1: reading this correctly?
36:07
Speaker 3: Listen, Just go ahead, but it up because liosten I
36:10
Speaker 3: did not write this bold take for Matthew Stafford to
36:14
Speaker 3: throw five interceptions and be bench.
36:17
Speaker 1: First of all, I.
36:17
Speaker 3: Do not want to see Jimmy Garoppolo that play football. Clearly,
36:20
Speaker 3: one of these guys over there are trying to make
36:23
Speaker 3: me crash and it's not gonna work. Okay, I will
36:26
Speaker 3: say this, Matthew Stafford will throw five touchdowns and will
36:29
Speaker 3: have to be bench because he is so far up
36:31
Speaker 3: ahead and we don't need to risk him anymore. The
36:34
Speaker 3: game will be away from us from the halftime point.
36:36
Speaker 3: You guys are real funny. I think it was Florio
36:38
Speaker 3: who wrote this in the dock and I made you
36:40
Speaker 3: know to be a lower third man stern the pies
36:43
Speaker 3: usual brother.
36:44
Speaker 2: I have no idea what you're talking about, man, right right.
36:48
Speaker 2: I was just in there filling out my homework and
36:50
Speaker 2: I was like, Lakwan.
36:52
Speaker 1: Thinks that his MVP is gonna get bench this week.
36:55
Speaker 1: Like that is a first. I thought, this is some
36:57
Speaker 1: sort of reverse psychology for you, just trying to reverse
36:59
Speaker 1: jinks or something like that. It's kind of what I found.
37:01
Speaker 3: You know what it is.
37:02
Speaker 2: It's because his real favorite Ram quarterback of all time
37:04
Speaker 2: is on the other side.
37:06
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, the guy who played the greatest game in
37:08
Speaker 1: Rams history, allegedly the top three moment.
37:11
Speaker 3: I will say though, I was very excited for Baker
37:13
Speaker 3: Mayfield to come down that drive and win the game
37:15
Speaker 3: for us.
37:15
Speaker 1: It was a game that we shouldn't have one. Thank you,
37:17
Speaker 1: Maker Mayfield. Well, if that made Lakwan upset, I think
37:20
Speaker 1: your hot take's gonna make him really upset. So this
37:23
Speaker 1: is the first time.
37:24
Speaker 2: It's wild because CMC has been a Niner for like
37:26
Speaker 2: five years now or something like that. This is the
37:29
Speaker 2: first time he is facing Sir p Hert and the
37:31
Speaker 2: Carolina Panthers.
37:32
Speaker 1: So I think he goes off.
37:35
Speaker 2: He throws a touchdown, he runs a touchdown, and he
37:38
Speaker 2: catches a touchdown.
37:39
Speaker 1: He's got six.
37:40
Speaker 2: Rushing touchdowns and already this year he's got five receivings.
37:43
Speaker 2: So those aren't bold. But he has thrown four passes
37:46
Speaker 2: in his NFL career. Two of them, that's half, have
37:49
Speaker 2: gone for touchdowns. So get creative, Kyle, get in your bag.
37:53
Speaker 2: Let him win the FedEx Player of the Ground, Player
37:56
Speaker 2: of the Week and everything. Just let him go off
37:58
Speaker 2: against his old team for the.
38:00
Speaker 1: This is a Christian McCaffrey revenge game. I dont even
38:02
Speaker 1: think about that, yea, for so long. Yeah, you would
38:05
Speaker 1: think that. You would think that they've played at some
38:06
Speaker 1: point that this one. Speaking of former Rams quarterbacks, Jared
38:11
Speaker 1: Goff back at home. We know famously he is an
38:13
Speaker 1: indoor cat, and he gets to be back indoors at
38:16
Speaker 1: Ford Field, not having a deal with the Eagles, not
38:18
Speaker 1: having to deal with the wind. And I think the Lions,
38:21
Speaker 1: five of them, one, two, three, four by five Lions
38:24
Speaker 1: are going to score. It's like Voltron. Five Lions are
38:27
Speaker 1: gonna form together and just put a beat down on
38:29
Speaker 1: the Giants. Are each gonna score a touchdown. Here's the thing.
38:32
Speaker 1: The Giants have given up these seventh most passing touchdowns
38:35
Speaker 1: this year, and they make up for it by giving
38:37
Speaker 1: up the second most rushing touchdowns. So take your pick
38:41
Speaker 1: who to the five? Okay, I'm gonna say I'm on
38:43
Speaker 1: raw Okay, Jamison williams Uh, David Montgomery, Jamiir Gibbs, and
38:48
Speaker 1: we're gonna go with Isaac Taslah. I like that. You
38:53
Speaker 1: know what, how about the We'll change that, We'll take Tesla.
38:56
Speaker 1: We'll get maybe it Brock right. Ooh that's even spic here,
38:59
Speaker 1: brock right, Man, No, we want Tesla. You have to say,
39:04
Speaker 1: you have to say it like Kendrick Lamar Tesla like that.
39:08
Speaker 2: So you know what's funny is my original I was
39:10
Speaker 2: I wrote Jared Goff throws five touchdowns and then I
39:12
Speaker 2: read yours and I was like, oh.
39:13
Speaker 1: Well, I can't have the exact same I gotta change.
39:16
Speaker 1: And then I saw the Quans and I was mind blowing.
39:18
Speaker 1: It was just just mind blowing. Bro.
39:20
Speaker 3: You mistakely wrote that, sir, that was your line that
39:23
Speaker 3: you just it doesn't matter.
39:25
Speaker 1: You're trying to get me to crash, bro. So those
39:28
Speaker 1: are our hot takes. Lakwan's gonna go and cool off
39:31
Speaker 1: a little bit. But yeah, I enjoyed the hot takes
39:34
Speaker 1: for the week, and hopefully a few of them come true.
39:36
Speaker 1: As we wrap things up here on the NFL Fantasy
39:39
Speaker 1: Football Show, say goodbye to Lakwan Jones and we say
39:42
Speaker 1: hello to our friend, the NFL Network reporter Cam Wolfe,
39:45
Speaker 1: who is back on the continent. I guess, first things first,
39:49
Speaker 1: how is Madrid man?
39:51
Speaker 4: Incredible? Incredible? Uh wow? Like I was excited to be
39:55
Speaker 4: a part of the first one over there. And one
39:59
Speaker 4: thing I've learned about Fain folks is they eat food late,
40:01
Speaker 4: they stay up late. And I am sleeping for the
40:05
Speaker 4: last three days trying to recover because the jet legs.
40:08
Speaker 1: But yeah, I learned that the hard way going to
40:12
Speaker 1: Barcelona a few years ago that I couldn't I couldn't
40:15
Speaker 1: wait long enough to have dinner when everybody else did.
40:19
Speaker 1: What time do they eat either? Like ten o'clock.
40:21
Speaker 4: What, Yeah, starting like you can't get in the restaurant
40:24
Speaker 4: before nine o'clock, no shot. I ate dinner one night
40:28
Speaker 4: at eleven thirty. I was I couldn't believe it. And
40:31
Speaker 4: the crazy part is the night was just starting, you know,
40:34
Speaker 4: going out to probably three four am, and and folks
40:37
Speaker 4: were still going like because folks were still in line
40:40
Speaker 4: arriving when when I was leaving at like three something
40:43
Speaker 4: am one night.
40:44
Speaker 1: So they just don't believe in interim fasting over there.
40:47
Speaker 1: Maybe they do all that special way, yes, yeah.
40:51
Speaker 4: Like two and six in the afternoon, no one does
40:54
Speaker 4: anything there, snap rests whatever, and everything shuts down, So
40:58
Speaker 4: they kind of built in recharge station in the middle
41:02
Speaker 4: of their day.
41:02
Speaker 1: Can we get that? I endorse that right. If we
41:07
Speaker 1: could somehow make that happen, that'd be great. Back to
41:10
Speaker 1: the football side of things, though, obviously one of the
41:13
Speaker 1: big stories of the week Shador Sanders going to get
41:15
Speaker 1: the start for the Cleveland Browns. What do you expect
41:18
Speaker 1: to see from Sudor, especially with a full week of
41:20
Speaker 1: practice under his belt.
41:21
Speaker 4: Yeah, I hope they simplified a little bit for him.
41:24
Speaker 4: You know, you come in the middle of the game,
41:25
Speaker 4: you're running Dylan Gabriel's game plan, you can expect struggles.
41:29
Speaker 4: There are different styles of quarterbacks. That's the one thing
41:31
Speaker 4: that I think the Browns will try to tell us
41:33
Speaker 4: that it's consistent for everyone. Chador is a quarterback that
41:37
Speaker 4: likes to make plays outside the scheme a little bit more,
41:40
Speaker 4: wants to hold on to the ball. Dylan's a very quick,
41:43
Speaker 4: one rhythm passer, and so I expect them to run
41:47
Speaker 4: plays that help him move outside the pocket a little
41:49
Speaker 4: bit more, be able to use his legs, and also
41:53
Speaker 4: built in some hot routes because as we saw last week,
41:56
Speaker 4: teams are going to play cover zero lits him until
42:00
Speaker 4: he can make it shown that he can make quick decisions.
42:03
Speaker 4: So I expect that Kevin Stefanski and that offense they
42:06
Speaker 4: try to help him out, leaning on his strengths, leaning
42:09
Speaker 4: on those running backs and tight ends in the past
42:12
Speaker 4: game to help him.
42:13
Speaker 1: See.
42:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, those play styles are complete opposite. We've been talking
42:17
Speaker 2: about this on the show this week. Cam want your opinion.
42:20
Speaker 2: Is an injured forty one year old Aaron Rodgers really
42:23
Speaker 2: better than a healthy Mason Rudolph.
42:27
Speaker 4: So talent wise, that's a great question. But I think
42:30
Speaker 4: the aura of Aaron Rodgers is that guys play better
42:34
Speaker 4: because he's on the field. And I kind of compare
42:36
Speaker 4: this and they're different guys. But my first year in
42:38
Speaker 4: the league in twenty fifteen, I covered Paydon Manning at
42:41
Speaker 4: the very end, and he may not have had all
42:43
Speaker 4: the arm tools, but guys had a different level play
42:47
Speaker 4: when they were in the huddle with him, a different
42:49
Speaker 4: confidence about being able to make a last drive happen
42:52
Speaker 4: or win happen, and sometimes it even lingers to your defense.
42:55
Speaker 4: And so I think that's a factor for Aaron Rodgers
42:58
Speaker 4: that we may not see at this stage, but you
43:01
Speaker 4: certainly see all forty one years of him banged up,
43:04
Speaker 4: and you've got to limit your expectations of this passing game,
43:07
Speaker 4: which is while we see Kenneth Gangwell going crazy with
43:10
Speaker 4: all these checkdowns. So I do think he's still a
43:13
Speaker 4: better option. We just got to change our expectations for
43:18
Speaker 4: him in his pass and attack.
43:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, I say it looks at times it sort of
43:21
Speaker 1: looks like the last days of Ben Roethlisberger in that
43:24
Speaker 1: offense where just you know, it's hard to consistently get anything,
43:28
Speaker 1: especially to get anything downfield. So we'll see what happens
43:31
Speaker 1: there in Atlanta. Michael Pennock's unfortunately done for the rest
43:36
Speaker 1: of the year because of an injury there. So now
43:39
Speaker 1: the Falcon is going to try to muddle through with
43:41
Speaker 1: Kirk Cousins. But on top of it, cam their first
43:45
Speaker 1: round pick belongs to the Rams. How much does this
43:48
Speaker 1: injury sort of hamper what the Falcons might want to
43:50
Speaker 1: do long term?
43:52
Speaker 4: Yes, as a disaster, just putting it frank, they went
43:55
Speaker 4: sort of all in on that we're ready as a
43:58
Speaker 4: team without I haven't seen anything firm of Michael Pennis,
44:02
Speaker 4: and now this is another lost year. You can't say
44:05
Speaker 4: with certainty that he's their long term answer at quarterback.
44:08
Speaker 4: He showed sparks, but not enough consistency and know you sell.
44:11
Speaker 4: Now you go into twenty twenty six with them coming
44:13
Speaker 4: off of rehab an injury, still being uncertain there, and
44:16
Speaker 4: then as you mentioned, not having your first round pick.
44:19
Speaker 4: You wonder if this is injury sets you back two
44:21
Speaker 4: years before you're really able to compete again, and can
44:25
Speaker 4: your duo of Raheem Morris and Terry Finano survived those years?
44:29
Speaker 4: So I think this is a devastating blow for those reasons.
44:32
Speaker 4: I thought the Falcons at their people were really explosive.
44:35
Speaker 4: I mean, they beat the Bills team very handily on
44:39
Speaker 4: primetime TV. We saw elements of their pass rush when
44:42
Speaker 4: they're all clicking Bajon Drake, Michael Pennix look like it
44:47
Speaker 4: could be special, but we never saw that consistency. And
44:49
Speaker 4: I'm wondering, as currently constructed, do we ever see that?
44:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, and another team that, look, it's very different than
44:58
Speaker 2: the Falcons. They're the one seed in the NF right now,
45:00
Speaker 2: but there's so much talent on the Eagles and they
45:02
Speaker 2: seemingly can't put up points. Is this offense broken or
45:06
Speaker 2: just underperforming?
45:08
Speaker 4: It's definitely underperforming. And look, A J. Brown is definitely
45:11
Speaker 4: not helping it. Every single week it's in the headlines
45:13
Speaker 4: for what he's doing on Twitch or at a locker room.
45:17
Speaker 4: I've never seen as unhappy of a base of number
45:20
Speaker 4: one seed teams in the league. But that's the Philly way,
45:22
Speaker 4: you know, that's my my neckative woods who we are
45:26
Speaker 4: as people. I don't know if we succeed otherwise. I
45:28
Speaker 4: think the core of this is actually neither of the
45:30
Speaker 4: guys that get most of the conversation, Jalen Hurst and A. J.
45:33
Speaker 4: Brown I think it's this offensive line. They built this
45:36
Speaker 4: team on an elite offensive line for really the last
45:39
Speaker 4: four or five years, and for the first time in
45:42
Speaker 4: a while, they're just average to below average. They've been
45:45
Speaker 4: banged up injury wise. Now Cam Jurgens is out now
45:48
Speaker 4: Laying Johnson's out, They've been having backups in that spot,
45:51
Speaker 4: and because of that, they can't impose their will on
45:53
Speaker 4: the run, and teams are playing them a little bit
45:55
Speaker 4: more of a conservative route. And this offense is built
45:59
Speaker 4: to take care of the ball. We don't remember a
46:01
Speaker 4: few years ago they had an issue with Jalen Hurst
46:03
Speaker 4: turned the ball over. They switched to a more conservative
46:06
Speaker 4: route and it's winning. And so although we want those
46:09
Speaker 4: high flying passes because they can't run the ball, because
46:13
Speaker 4: Oline hasn't been able to protect, there's no willingness for
46:16
Speaker 4: Philly to risk it because they haven't had to. So
46:19
Speaker 4: I just think it's under performing, but not necessarily for
46:22
Speaker 4: the reasons that we think it is.
46:24
Speaker 1: You're down in South Florida, you see the Dolphins regularly.
46:28
Speaker 1: I know you were over there in Madrid with them.
46:30
Speaker 1: Is there a vibe shift? The things have kind of
46:32
Speaker 1: turned around for the Dolphins lately it has.
46:35
Speaker 4: I was with them in the locker room after they
46:37
Speaker 4: beat the Buffalo Bills, which was their Super Bowl. Let's
46:41
Speaker 4: call it what it is. They played incredible. They had
46:44
Speaker 4: never beaten the Bills like that, not even in their
46:47
Speaker 4: heydays of twenty three when they were scoring seventy points,
46:50
Speaker 4: and so I think it gave them an extra confidence
46:52
Speaker 4: of let's go play loose. You know, our GM has
46:55
Speaker 4: already been let go talk about our coach and our
46:59
Speaker 4: quarterback being the end for them, and they're playing with
47:02
Speaker 4: the freeness. I was with them in Madrid all week
47:04
Speaker 4: and they're joking around. There's guys jumping all each other.
47:07
Speaker 4: You wouldn't have known they were three and seven. And
47:09
Speaker 4: so Bradley Chubb has used to phrase delusional confidence that
47:13
Speaker 4: they can make a run. They think, when you look
47:15
Speaker 4: at this schedule, the Jets and Saints up the next
47:18
Speaker 4: couple of weeks, we could get to, you know, six
47:20
Speaker 4: and seven, and then we're playing for Steelers on Monday
47:24
Speaker 4: Night Football in a few weeks, and why can't we
47:26
Speaker 4: get back in the hunt.
47:27
Speaker 1: So we'll see.
47:29
Speaker 2: Hey, the Dolphins are in the in the hunt graphic now,
47:32
Speaker 2: which is y'allly win for them alone. Damn they're on
47:36
Speaker 2: by this week though, the Dolphins, So where are you
47:38
Speaker 2: going to be this week?
47:40
Speaker 4: I actually get a week off, so my bosses gave
47:42
Speaker 4: me a little bit of a break from the jet
47:43
Speaker 4: lag and flow, and so I'll be off this week
47:47
Speaker 4: and I'll be back on the road for week thirteen.
47:49
Speaker 4: I think I'll set up to either get the Panthers
47:52
Speaker 4: forty nine Ers game or that Browns Rams game, so
47:55
Speaker 4: one of those two and week thirteen. But I'll be
47:57
Speaker 4: watching football on the count this weekend, which I'll enjoy it.
48:01
Speaker 1: Are you you gonna have a siesta in the middle
48:04
Speaker 1: of the day. It's gonna be great, absolutely, And I
48:06
Speaker 1: may take you that because I'm near the middle.
48:09
Speaker 4: Of one of these games. Maybe just with with the
48:11
Speaker 4: beverage and and and and just doze off. That's my
48:14
Speaker 4: dream weekend.
48:15
Speaker 1: That sounds amazing. That sounds amazing. We appreciated with care.
48:18
Speaker 1: We appreciated for the rest of y'all hanging out with us.
48:20
Speaker 1: You know the drill. Tell two friends to tell two
48:22
Speaker 1: friends rate review and remember one of life's great mysteries
48:25
Speaker 1: is why Komakazi pilots wore helmets, be safe, take care
48:28
Speaker 1: of yourselves. Enjoy Week twelve. Everybody, We'll talk to you
48:31
Speaker 1: again on Monday, wo
