Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: We have a question for you.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It's Light FM. Good morning, Cubby, Christine, producer Kristen. It's
- 0:04Speaker 2: mainly going to be about towels, our topic here. It's
- 0:06Speaker 2: mainly going to be about towels.
- 0:07Speaker 3: It's pretty deep.
- 0:08Speaker 1: The topic is, go ahead, Christine, go ahead.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Well, this is a cute topic. It's what's something you
- 0:14Speaker 3: thought everyone else did because you do it and then
- 0:16Speaker 3: you found out, oh, they don't.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 0:19Speaker 3: And some people are saying, like, cook when they invite
- 0:22Speaker 3: people over. I thought everybody always made dinner. People don't.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Sad things that we discovered, like change their underwear on
- 0:29Speaker 3: a daily basis.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Some people don't.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Some people apparently don't. Washing their hands after using the bathroom.
- 0:36Speaker 3: This person discovered it's very disappointing to go out in
- 0:38Speaker 3: public and see people just walk out of the bathroom.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I've sadly seen people, I'm sure you have too, here
- 0:44Speaker 2: in our building do their.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Business and just walk out.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Then you need the paper towel to open the door, right?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Oh, 100%.
- 0:50Speaker 3: At least that one time. And then someone said using
- 0:54Speaker 3: a new towel to dry off every time you shower,
- 0:57Speaker 3: which is what I always did. But apparently we don't
- 1:01Speaker 3: all do that.
- 1:02Speaker 1: That's what I want to focus on.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I want to get into our towel habits. Okay.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yes. That's where this branched off.
- 1:08Speaker 1: So I'm going to go with you first, Christine. Yes, sir.
- 1:11Speaker 2: You get out of the shower. Your towel is hanging.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah. You have one towel or two?
- 1:17Speaker 3: I have two. One for hair, one for the body. Okay.
- 1:20Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:21Speaker 1: So you've taken a shower. Yes. You're done. You've used
- 1:24Speaker 1: both towels.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Do they go to the laundry or do you hang
- 1:27Speaker 1: them back up and use them again?
- 1:28Speaker 3: They used to always go to the laundry, but I'm
- 1:30Speaker 3: trying to conserve a little bit more. So I use
- 1:33Speaker 3: them a couple of times now. Okay.
- 1:35Speaker 1: I do the same.
- 1:35Speaker 2: You do?
- 1:36Speaker 1: I have two towels as well.
- 1:37Speaker 3: I have a little- One for your hair?
- 1:41Speaker 1: Well, not like you.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Because you're kind of bald.
- 1:45Speaker 1: One is for my whole body.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I mean, like, you know, drying off the body.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:49Speaker 1: The other towel- Is for the more intimate regions.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Oh my goodness.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Just because I need to make sure I'm dry in
- 1:58Speaker 1: between things.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Explain this further. I don't understand.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Well, if I'm going to go really into crevices, I
- 2:07Speaker 2: want to make sure I'm not using the towel I'm
- 2:09Speaker 2: going to use again.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Because that could end up drying off your face at
- 2:13Speaker 3: some point.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yes, correct. So before... Now, if you're a guy, you
- 2:18Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about, okay?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Guys, 44363, what is he talking about?
- 2:24Speaker 2: And then you powder it up, and then you're good.
- 2:27Speaker 2: But to get it dry, I have to make sure that.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Anyway, that's called.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Is that why Eric has powder in his bathroom?
- 2:33Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah? I'm going to make sure... Yeah. So anyway, so
- 2:38Speaker 1: I do reuse my towels, basically.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 1: But the top one I know is always just dry
- 2:44Speaker 1: me off. I, you know... The bottom towel... is really
- 2:47Speaker 1: getting in there, and you've got to be careful about it.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Can we go back to using the towel just once
- 2:51Speaker 3: then and then washing them? Because what if things get
- 2:55Speaker 3: a little mixed up? I mean, that's why I like
- 2:57Speaker 3: to wash.
- 2:58Speaker 1: There have been times where I turn around from the
- 2:59Speaker 1: sink just to dry my face. I'm like, oh, wrong towel.
- 3:02Speaker 3: You see what I'm talking about? And like the whole
- 3:05Speaker 3: body towel. That's kind of why I like washing it.
- 3:09Speaker 1: How many uses out of a towel before you wash it?
- 3:14Speaker 3: I used to do only one time and then I
- 3:16Speaker 3: thought it was being wasteful. So like two times. And
- 3:20Speaker 3: then the second, the second time I use it, I'm
- 3:22Speaker 3: kind of like, well, if you start.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And especially if you start to smell any kind of
- 3:26Speaker 1: hint of that, what do you call it?
- 3:28Speaker 3: Not. Oh, that sour smell?
- 3:29Speaker 1: That sour smell. Oh, that's awful. Yeah. Or the worst
- 3:32Speaker 1: smell in the world is if you leave a damp
- 3:34Speaker 1: towel on the floor. Yes. And then you pick it
- 3:37Speaker 1: up like a day later and then that's like, ugh.
- 3:39Speaker 3: We're not going to be using that. Uh-huh. There's this
- 3:41Speaker 3: Lysol and Clorox. There's stuff you can add instead of
- 3:45Speaker 3: fabric softener. There's something you can add that kills all
- 3:48Speaker 3: the bacteria. I think you should do that.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:51Speaker 2: I get the hint. Hit us up at 44363. If
- 3:55Speaker 2: you're a guy that can relate to what I do
- 3:57Speaker 2: with my two towels, please, I want to hear from you.
- 3:59Speaker 2: You have the news coming up, Christine, with a lozenge
- 4:02Speaker 2: in your mouth.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yes. What a surprise, right? And when to make a decision,
- 4:09Speaker 3: like what mood should you be in?
- 4:10Speaker 2: This is how good Christine is. I don't know how
- 4:12Speaker 2: she does it. I can never do it. You always
- 4:14Speaker 2: talk pretty darn well for having a lozenge in your mouth.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Well, it's tucked to the side.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Just like my towels.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 4:21Speaker 1: All right, Light FM.
