On Cape Clear Island this summer, 100 young people from Israel, Palestine, Italy, Switzerland, and Ireland came together for a transformative six-week exchange called “Building Walls – Breaking Walls.” Funded by the EU Erasmus+ and Swiss Government, the program—founded by Irish and Swiss youth workers with deep cross-border experience—used the ancient craft of dry stone walling as a metaphor for building bridges.
