- 0:00Speaker 1: For all your mad bastards loving the Big Show podcast Get.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Up Even Closer on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- 0:09Speaker 1: For for dogging four to seven every.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Weekday on radiodrecka.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Back bone, Gid Fellows, Hello, took me until yesterday to
- 0:20Speaker 4: come good after my late night on Saturday.
- 0:24Speaker 1: What was that again? A mate surprise buddy?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, we didn't do anything on that either.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yeah, no we didn't.
- 0:31Speaker 3: We didn't.
- 0:32Speaker 2: What what time was that you finished?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Midnight? Midnight?
- 0:35Speaker 2: That ruined you for the week?
- 0:36Speaker 3: Yeah? Was that weird?
- 0:38Speaker 1: I was talking yesterday actually.
- 0:41Speaker 4: But I had about ten zero percentas Yeah, that's the
- 0:44Speaker 4: ten fucking Corona zeros.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You just punched them, ay, because you just need something
- 0:50Speaker 1: to do.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I was so tired I was having I was ready
- 0:53Speaker 4: forbid at nine years done. Yeah, so I was on
- 0:57Speaker 4: the old espressos. Yeah, night, it's good times.
- 1:01Speaker 1: My wife is My wife has got into the habit
- 1:05Speaker 1: while she's doing this play because she gets fatigued before
- 1:08Speaker 1: the play, so she's been pumping a red bull and
- 1:13Speaker 1: it's not good, like it's good for her performance, but
- 1:16Speaker 1: then she gets home and she's she's ansty, she's angsty,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and that directly affects me because, as you imagine, when
- 1:25Speaker 1: you're married, you tend to sleep together.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Right, and your jobs to be angsty.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Right, Well, I'm usually anngsty anyway, if she's a boat.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I woke up the other day and she was down
- 1:37Speaker 1: by my knees fellows.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Yeah, please, you mean.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Well, you know normally normally when you lie side and bed. Yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 1: And it's actually happened the last three.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Jason was on his hands up to show me what
- 1:56Speaker 4: with his hands? What two people lying sod?
- 2:00Speaker 1: But actually the last three nights she's ended up at
- 2:03Speaker 1: the very other end.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Of the bed, curled out, repulsed, what maybe repelled.
- 2:09Speaker 1: But like killed. And I wake up on the night
- 2:11Speaker 1: and put my arm across and I go, actually.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Put the news. I go, I can't do it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I try and find her, and I'm like, you go on,
- 2:21Speaker 1: hang on, what's what the hang about? And then and
- 2:26Speaker 1: I locked down, and she's cooled up at the very
- 2:28Speaker 1: bottom of the beard like a cat.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Killed a blanket?
- 2:32Speaker 3: And what has she got to say for herself?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Often not with a blanket. No, she's not doing poos.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Very confusing sentence there, She's not doing per doing poo?
- 2:43Speaker 2: Is your wife taking dumps on the bed like if
- 2:47Speaker 2: you've just listened for the first its like cool. I
- 2:49Speaker 2: don't know what that means. I remember when I used
- 2:52Speaker 2: to work at Crowd Goes Wild, Mark Richardson used to
- 2:55Speaker 2: bomb a red ball whilst during the rehearsal before the
- 2:57Speaker 2: show was every week night, I was at seven pm
- 3:00Speaker 2: and it was the same thing. You start to get
- 3:02Speaker 2: a bit tired at about six ish, yeah, as Moogi
- 3:04Speaker 2: is right now, yes, and then so at six forty
- 3:08Speaker 2: five on the Dart Red Bull do the show high
- 3:10Speaker 2: energy and then he was just like and then you
- 3:13Speaker 2: just can't sleep and then you just kind of feel
- 3:14Speaker 2: like shit straight away afterwards. Yes, right, but because you
- 3:17Speaker 2: have to perform. Yeah, he always did it because yeah,
- 3:19Speaker 2: otherwise looks shit on TV.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I always feel very tired at about two o'clock every day, genuinely,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I just go, oh god, every day is the same.
- 3:28Speaker 1: But I've taken to not trying to spike myself with
- 3:32Speaker 1: red bulls and coffee. Yeah, yeah, yeah, totally it is,
- 3:37Speaker 1: which is why I'm trying not to do that. But
- 3:39Speaker 1: my wife's been doing that, but yeah, she's been right
- 3:41Speaker 1: at the bottom of the bed. It's quite disconcerting.
- 3:43Speaker 2: It is weird. I quite like the and having that
- 3:46Speaker 2: coffee machine there is good too. My thing is literally
- 3:49Speaker 2: might pump one after the party. Actually, you just reminded me.
- 3:52Speaker 2: It's literally just have a coffee as I'm walking into
- 3:54Speaker 2: the studio. Usually it is my thing. Yeah, and then
- 3:56Speaker 2: it's like boom sweet and then that way it's not
- 3:58Speaker 2: too late, it won't keep me up.
- 3:59Speaker 4: And then before I got here, I thought I was
- 4:01Speaker 4: dying from hunger. You know, you get so weak, and I.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Had I had I can't imagine you dying from hunger.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I hadn't eaten it at all.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I had well, I had one of those protein shakes,
- 4:14Speaker 4: but then I had to need it, and so I
- 4:15Speaker 4: had three. I had scrambled eggs there, nice, but I still.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Felt weak, you know, like a kitchen set up at
- 4:24Speaker 1: the office there.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah, the more I look at it, it is just
- 4:28Speaker 4: an apartment with a strange podcast studio. It's very weird,
- 4:32Speaker 4: especially before we put in the other office walls and
- 4:35Speaker 4: then it really was it was just a bedroom.
- 4:37Speaker 3: But tend you. But that didn't do it for me.
- 4:40Speaker 4: So then I had a cupcake okay as well on
- 4:43Speaker 4: top of that, and then two pieces of chocolate, and
- 4:46Speaker 4: then I came in here and had a coffee, and
- 4:48Speaker 4: then by then I'd sort of come good. I've had
- 4:51Speaker 4: heaps of water, man, I go real good on my waters.
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know. I pump a lot of water as well.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I probably pumped the most water.
- 5:00Speaker 2: I believe pumped the second most.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't pump that much. Just enough to keep me hydrated.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, right, the perfect amount.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I reckon, Mogi. What might help you is like
- 5:12Speaker 2: maybe one and a half bags of stolen chips and
- 5:15Speaker 2: if you just kind of grab those and pretty much
- 5:17Speaker 2: eat all of them.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Nah, No, that would help Jay.
- 5:21Speaker 4: So it helps Jay's I don't steal chips, Kezy, did
- 5:25Speaker 4: you ask I do?
- 5:26Speaker 3: When I go over there?
- 5:27Speaker 4: I asked my wife, Ladies in the Zidium office, my
- 5:31Speaker 4: wife maybe when he got the last three boxes and
- 5:33Speaker 4: gifted me three bags?
- 5:35Speaker 3: How good? That very nice?
- 5:36Speaker 1: My wife did a food shop yesterday.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Was she killed up in the bottom of the trolley?
- 5:41Speaker 4: No?
- 5:42Speaker 2: But were you I pictured Jay sitting in the kid's
- 5:44Speaker 2: spott on the trolley.
- 5:45Speaker 1: No, I was. She did it while I was doing
- 5:48Speaker 1: the show. Fellows, all right, just shut it and she
- 5:53Speaker 1: did quite significant new boots though.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Hey on I imagine her pushing Jason around on the
- 5:59Speaker 2: trolley and when you go past the deli, she gets
- 6:01Speaker 2: one piece of yeah for you to sort of suck on.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 6:05Speaker 2: As she finishes the shop.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Exactly what happens and then yourself. But anyway, getting back
- 6:11Speaker 1: to my.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Point, The Hicky Big Show Days from.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Four on Radio Hurraarchy the Wracky Big Show Podcast.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Getting back to my point, actually did quite a significant shop.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So I was like thinking, oh, okay, good And I
- 6:28Speaker 1: went home to look at all the food that she bought.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Opened up the fridge and I was like, where's all
- 6:34Speaker 1: the fucking food? Open up the freezer?
- 6:37Speaker 2: Loving she went in the pantry.
- 6:39Speaker 1: She went really hard on the snacks because my youngest daughter,
- 6:44Speaker 1: she's a snacker when do this, and it was just
- 6:48Speaker 1: a drawer full of snacks and chips and crackers and
- 6:51Speaker 1: all sorts of stuff. My daughter is a shocker. She
- 6:55Speaker 1: opened four different packets of things.
- 6:59Speaker 3: But she's living a king.
- 7:00Speaker 2: You come home, you're living like a can of stuff.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yeah, true, free, true.
- 7:05Speaker 3: You don't even understand that you're being treated.
- 7:07Speaker 1: No.
- 7:07Speaker 4: I think that it's you think that your parents just
- 7:10Speaker 4: have that stuff in their house. It doesn't occur to
- 7:13Speaker 4: you that they're buying it for you. Yes, it's just
- 7:16Speaker 4: oh they've always got that so good. It's just free
- 7:19Speaker 4: ship that mom and dad have always got. So there's
- 7:21Speaker 4: no think you involved that's specifically buying it for you.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I told you what she said to me one day
- 7:28Speaker 1: when she was in a hor of a mood about
- 7:30Speaker 1: the fur Jesus. She was like, this house is just
- 7:33Speaker 1: full of fucking ingredients.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And I was like, one of the old time great
- 7:43Speaker 3: they're all ingredients.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I said, well, use the ingredients and makes it.
- 7:50Speaker 4: No way exactly like you do. You're some dumplings call.
- 7:55Speaker 2: From Well, it's funny like when you're you're hungry, pick
- 8:01Speaker 2: us and you open the fridge and there's all the
- 8:02Speaker 2: stuff which could make a multitude of house nothing isn't there.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And I used to find it every time we actually
- 8:09Speaker 1: did do a shop, which was just the craziest thing.
- 8:11Speaker 1: We'd do this massive food shop and then I'd go
- 8:14Speaker 1: to eat something and it's like there's nothing to eat?
- 8:16Speaker 1: What is that? Yeah, I mean there's always there's a
- 8:19Speaker 1: fucking shipload, and it's almost like I can't be fucked
- 8:23Speaker 1: having to make any kind of efforts. Literally, no effort
- 8:27Speaker 1: at all to cook food.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So that's why I still to this day have every
- 8:32Speaker 2: week Lucy gets a bag of cheese balls. Still and
- 8:37Speaker 2: like they just it's just like been for years. It's
- 8:40Speaker 2: been the favorites, listening in the shopping online, shopping there,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and she just adds a bag of cheese balls.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You see, that's love keezy.
- 8:46Speaker 5: But yeah, sure, I mean it is that she buys you,
- 8:53Speaker 5: specifically cheeseballs because she knows like cheese balls.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Call that there.
- 9:00Speaker 4: It's a service, yeah, yeah, it's it's gift giving, is it.
- 9:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 9:07Speaker 2: And then so whenever I'm going to open the pantry,
- 9:10Speaker 2: have a look, Oh here's some cheeseballs.
- 9:12Speaker 4: But it's no good to you the cheeseballs. If that's
- 9:14Speaker 4: not If that's her love language, which is gift giving,
- 9:18Speaker 4: but yours is physical touch, then her giving you cheese
- 9:21Speaker 4: balls means nothing to you.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Oh no, she opens them and then tips them in mayes.
- 9:25Speaker 4: And crushes and then and then you eat them.
- 9:30Speaker 2: And then I sorry, did I make that? Not make
- 9:32Speaker 2: that clear? But now we've got very similar love languages.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I think we've talked about this. I think words of information. Yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 2: physical touch is a big one, yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I think I think I've upset my wife. Yeah, probably
- 9:49Speaker 1: because she she's got her last night tomorrow night. And
- 9:52Speaker 1: I said to her last night when she got home, oh,
- 9:53Speaker 1: shed probably come to that blah blah blah blah blah.
- 9:56Speaker 3: That I mentioned it to you on the show.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And it was like okay, And then she said, I
- 10:04Speaker 1: can get your ticket just before if you want to
- 10:07Speaker 1: come to the last night. I know, and I went
- 10:08Speaker 1: because my other two girls are going tomorrow night, and
- 10:11Speaker 1: I went on, I make it a girl's night, and
- 10:13Speaker 1: she went, oh, okay, well.
- 10:14Speaker 2: What does it make it a girl? What does that mean?
- 10:17Speaker 3: You have to be a woman?
- 10:18Speaker 1: Well, just because you know, I thought.
- 10:20Speaker 3: The girls ago you didn't want to go.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think she's taken it as I don't
- 10:26Speaker 1: want to go, which is what it is.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, because she always does plays. She always does plays.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I mean, should I text your back?
- 10:33Speaker 4: How often do you come in here and then change
- 10:35Speaker 4: your tune after talking to us?
- 10:38Speaker 3: Right here? Are we doing the podcast?
- 10:41Speaker 2: On the podcast that Amelia and Pugs were not Pugs
- 10:45Speaker 2: but Amelia his partner, and even my wife. They were
- 10:48Speaker 2: both a bit iffie afterwards about staying to say good
- 10:51Speaker 2: Jason's wife.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Did I mention that you did to me?
- 10:54Speaker 2: Yeah? And Amelia was very like, oh, isn't it like
- 10:56Speaker 2: what you do with your like your family and like
- 10:58Speaker 2: your best mates and stuff. And I was like, I mean,
- 11:00Speaker 2: we can go, but I swear I am saying right now,
- 11:04Speaker 2: we have to say it.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Stay. Yeah, yeah, to stay.
- 11:08Speaker 2: And then she came out and then we had a
- 11:10Speaker 2: hug and her chatted for like ten minutes. It was great,
- 11:12Speaker 2: what do you mean you had had? And then sorry,
- 11:14Speaker 2: we hugged for ten minutes and had about one minute chat.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And then when we got outside, Emelily was like, oh
- 11:19Speaker 2: thank god we did that. Oh right, yeah, oh yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 2: I don't know what I was worried about. I'm sorry,
- 11:23Speaker 2: but it was a very similar situation.
- 11:24Speaker 3: But have you never done it before? You wouldn't know?
- 11:26Speaker 3: Would you just leave? No idea?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no idea.
- 11:29Speaker 1: So you're saying I've done a really bad thing.
- 11:31Speaker 2: There, I'm saying you just you you haven't thought, you
- 11:34Speaker 2: haven't thought, but you haven't considered her. I just because
- 11:39Speaker 2: a bad way, my love, No listen to that sappy ship.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Okay, in a bad way, because you now what you're
- 11:48Speaker 4: meant to be doing Jason Is, I wouldn't rush into
- 11:50Speaker 4: a text as you're meant to be celebrating her and
- 11:54Speaker 4: what is a mess of achievement after a long time
- 11:56Speaker 4: off the stage has been there for the last performance.
- 12:00Speaker 2: That's huge.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Can I just say and don't say it to us man,
- 12:05Speaker 1: You'll see it as ridiculous, I'm sure. But there's also
- 12:12Speaker 1: a part of me which is like, this is her time. Yes,
- 12:16Speaker 1: this is her time.
- 12:17Speaker 2: So you're saying that if you are there, you cannot
- 12:20Speaker 2: just you being there. It takes away from it makes
- 12:22Speaker 2: it your time to go there and just let it
- 12:25Speaker 2: be her time.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Well I am, I am, but it's also her after
- 12:29Speaker 1: party and stuff like that and play. But yeah, I'm
- 12:33Speaker 1: changing my team there.
- 12:35Speaker 3: To support her. Yes, So you go along and your
- 12:37Speaker 3: support you step back.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Yes, which I do, of course.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Don't upstage.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I mean we, I mean we are massively responsible for
- 12:45Speaker 1: them selling out.
- 12:46Speaker 2: I mean I don't take I'm not doking credit for that.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I'm not going to bring that up.
- 12:49Speaker 3: But all right, make a speech at the after party.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I think so, and then talk about a few talk
- 12:57Speaker 2: about a few of the plays you've been is doing.
- 13:01Speaker 1: What was it Hamlet know, Johnny theres been a bit
- 13:05Speaker 1: of Italian backbone.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Yeah, listen to the Big show Man. What can I say?
- 13:11Speaker 2: Fortal seven weekdays. Check it out. It's good stuff. Get
- 13:15Speaker 2: a coffee, have a good weekend.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I'm just texting my wife. Yeah, what should I say
- 13:20Speaker 1: to her?
- 13:21Speaker 2: You're on your own, it's over. Yeah, just do it now.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'll get it over and pick
