Transcript
- 0:32IJ Fallon, thanks for listening to The Slippery Slope.
- 0:35So First off, a very big shout out and an apology because I
- 0:40hadn't chased it up because I just assumed, just assumed.
- 0:43And as we all know, as was it in that Steven Seagal movie,
- 0:48assumptions just making a out of you and me never assume.
- 0:52So I had assumed that Senior Constable Christian White from
- 0:58NSW Police, I just assumed, you know, by now he'd be in gaol,
- 1:02I'd stop following what was going on.
- 1:05So a big shout out to user Coco Jeffrey, 85O2 brought it to my
- 1:11attention that crackhead police officer, former police officer
- 1:16Christian White is still, I believe, apparently out on bail.
- 1:21You know, you only commit manslaughter 'cause the death of
- 1:25a an extremely old lady. And apparently it's too much for
- 1:32the judge. The judge has no idea what to
- 1:35do. How can he?
- 1:36Because he's got no other case to compare it to.
- 1:39So he needs someone else. I've got to, I've got to ask the
- 1:42question, what kind of judge are you?
- 1:45If you can't hand down the sentencing?
- 1:48What, what, what? You can't come to a conclusion
- 1:51or base. You can't look at the law and
- 1:53say, well, this is the law, this is what I'm going to do.
- 1:56He any, the excuses are as if no, no other police officer has
- 2:03ever in the land of in the land of Australia has ever gone to
- 2:07gaol before. Crikey, I don't know.
- 2:11This is probably the most deplorable acts of indecision
- 2:18I've ever seen and this judge probably needs to stand down.
- 2:22What kind of? Anyway, let's get into it.
- 2:27I'm going to read on the side please before I go any further.
- 2:31I've got a brief ad because I've got a sponsor.
- 2:38So I've got a sponsor, the sponsors myself.
- 2:41I've got a re release of an old album I had done back in the
- 2:462000's. The song the album is called
- 2:50Songs from an Acoustic Heart. All songs are Christian gospel
- 2:55songs written by me and one song written by Paul Maisano and the
- 3:02songs are all just with an acoustic guitar.
- 3:06I had a guitarist by the name of Selwyn Power playing with me.
- 3:11The songs were all done, recorded one day, one studio.
- 3:15Yeah. Check it out.
- 3:17Apparently A Hole in My heart is getting quite a bit of airplay
- 3:21at the moment. Check out songs from an acoustic
- 3:24art if you like Christian gospel music.
- 3:28Thanks for listening. OK, so welcome back.
- 3:32So look, we're going to look at this video from from the Seven
- 3:37News, and this is the most ridiculous thing I have seen.
- 3:44Check it out. I'm going to stop it along the
- 3:45way, add a little bit of my own commentary.
- 3:50Christian Wide emerged like he always has.
- 3:53Are you remorseful, confident, steadfast, head high.
- 3:57Do you believe you should escape, child?
- 3:59But he wasn't always like that. Throughout the day his head was
- 4:02bowed, sometimes in his hands as Claire Nowlin's children and
- 4:06grandkids spoke in agonising detail the impact his actions
- 4:11have had on all of them. I am traumatised by his gutless
- 4:14coward act. My mother was denied the right
- 4:17to a dignified and peaceful passing.
- 4:18I will never forgive him for what he's what he did was kill
- 4:2295 year old Claire after he tasered her at Yalambi lodge at
- 4:26Coop. So just in case you've been
- 4:29living, I don't know, under a rock, basically the lady Claire
- 4:36Noland, who was getting around with a Walker, she's in her 90s.
- 4:40She could barely walk. She's pulled out.
- 4:43She has a steak knife and inner hand and the staff couldn't
- 4:48handle the situation apparently, so they've called police.
- 4:51Short story long, keep going. Uma in May 2023.
- 4:56She was armed with two knives within 3 minutes of talking to
- 4:59her, he said bugger it and discharged his Taser, causing
- 5:03her to fall and hit her head. I take.
- 5:06Now before I go on too, so I was obviously a police officer with
- 5:10Queensland Police. So this follows in NSW.
- 5:12However, Queensland police, you are, it's in policy.
- 5:16If you come across a situation and there's a child or an
- 5:19elderly person pulling a Taser is not, unless there was some
- 5:25extreme situation, pulling a Taser is not allowed.
- 5:30It's not in police policy. That was in Queensland.
- 5:32OK, so you're not supposed to. It should have been off the
- 5:36table straight away. Her age would have meant that he
- 5:41was. He shouldn't have been
- 5:42considering the Taser. So many other things here to
- 5:45look at. Obviously she was had a Walker.
- 5:48She was using a walking frame to move.
- 5:51She couldn't walk. She could barely move.
- 5:54Obviously too, he wasn't even the senior officer on scene.
- 5:57There was a Sergeant. So you had a Sergeant next to
- 5:59him. This Sergeant was unable to make
- 6:02any decisions. What's the point in having a
- 6:05Sergeant with you if the Sergeant she was she was unable
- 6:08to do anything, unable to disarm the lady, unable to do
- 6:13absolutely anything other than stand by and watch the junior
- 6:17officer take a potshot at the old lady anyway.
- 6:20Full responsibility for my actions for causing the death of
- 6:23Miss Nowland, but my view is that shouldn't have an effect
- 6:27upon my employment, he wrote in a letter of apology.
- 6:30The difficulty for the judge is that he has no other case to
- 6:33compare it to. Did you hear that The difficulty
- 6:36for the judge is that he has no other case to compare it to.
- 6:39So wouldn't that you nafty judge have been the case for every for
- 6:46every judge who who, who starts when laws first brought in, when
- 6:52law first be when someone when they bring in new legislation
- 6:57and new charges and the judge has to sit there and go, well,
- 7:00no one's ever been charged with this before.
- 7:02I'm the very first person, the very first judge to have to make
- 7:06a ruling because of this brand new piece of law that's happened
- 7:12since the beginning of flipping law in time, a crying out loud
- 7:17judge, and you can, if you cannot make a decision, come to
- 7:21a conclusion, you should not be the judge.
- 7:24To sit there and say the difficulty is I don't have
- 7:28anything to compare it to means that you are not fit to be a
- 7:31judge. Surely I didn't think it was
- 7:36that complicated. You look at the law, this is
- 7:40what the law says. This is the guidelines of the
- 7:44law. But what's so complicated
- 7:47because of his job? Because he was a police officer?
- 7:50Come on. And his sentencing options will
- 7:54not make everyone happy. And he's sentencing.
- 7:58I'm going to go back and, and play this a little bit more.
- 8:01He's sensing the sentencing options will not make everyone
- 8:05happy. Since when is that something
- 8:08that a judge has to be considering?
- 8:13Oh, not everyone's going to be happy with my judgement.
- 8:17Well, this is stupidity. I'll go back here.
- 8:22Let's go back and listen to this again.
- 8:24Sorry for ranting a little. Difficulty for the judge is that
- 8:28he has no other case to compare it to and his sentencing options
- 8:32will not make everyone happy. Christian White will either
- 8:36receive a community corrections order like a good behaviour bond
- 8:40or gaol time. The disgraced former cop will
- 8:43find out his fate. So the options are don't go to
- 8:47gaol or go to gaol. And the judge is like, well,
- 8:51it's not going to make everybody happy.
- 8:55I, I don't understand what I'm listening to.
- 8:59Of course it's not going to make everybody happy.
- 9:01It's not that complicated. I read another report saying,
- 9:03well, the judge wants to consider, you know, what's the,
- 9:08what's going to happen in gaol? Is he going to be protected?
- 9:11Listen, judge, he's not the first police officer in the
- 9:17history of Australia or in the history of NSW for that matter,
- 9:21to go to gaol for doing something wrong.
- 9:26It's, it's not that complicated. He's not going to be put in Gen
- 9:31pop. He's going to be put in
- 9:33protected custody. That's what's going to happen.
- 9:37It's not that complicated. And there was another report
- 9:41saying, well, this is of the lower end of manslaughter.
- 9:45I'm sorry, this is not the lower end.
- 9:48He went in there, he saw a scenario, a live scenario.
- 9:54He made an assessment. He came to a conclusion, or be
- 9:58it a stupid conclusion, he did everything wrong.
- 10:03Everything was wrong, against policy, against all common
- 10:07sense. He did it all wrong and he still
- 10:11went and did that action and it decisively caused Miss Noel
- 10:20Nolan's death. He's it's not that complicated.
- 10:25It's not that complicated. It's not the lower end.
- 10:28It's not like he went in there and everything was a complete
- 10:31accident. You know, he went in there, he
- 10:33slipped on a pool of water, his Taser came out and unloaded
- 10:38accidentally and everything was an accident.
- 10:41It was on purpose. He went in there, assessed the
- 10:45situation, made a decision and followed through on that
- 10:49decision. Thus, it's not the lower end of
- 10:52manslaughter. It's not.
- 10:54He should be in gaol. Not that complicated.
- 10:57The judge should be disgraced. Disgraced with himself.
- 11:03The NSW government should be looking at pulling him down from
- 11:07the bench. He should not be a judge.
- 11:12This is ridiculous where we are. NSW is land of nafties.
- 11:17I think. Seriously, I think Australia's
- 11:20going. What's the phrase going down?
- 11:22The Gurgler, we're in the toilet.
- 11:25We don't seem to be able to make any wise decisions anymore.
- 11:30Seriously, what is going on? What is going on?
- 11:36But anyway, this is all just my opinion and I was, I was only a
- 11:41lowly senior constable in the Queensland Police.
- 11:44Obviously I don't have the education of a judge.
- 11:52Let me know what you think. And again, thank you for Coco
- 11:55Jeffrey 85O2 for letting me know about this story still going on.
- 12:02Disgusting, ridiculous. My name is Jay Fallon, Check out
- 12:06my music and thanks for your support.
- 12:09Thanks for listening to The Slippery Slope.
