Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
January 28th, 2026, and man, it's hard to believe it's been
• 0:27
40 years since a whole generation of us got a
• 0:31
wonderful, terrible, just immediate bout of trauma
• 0:37
  watching the Challenger explosion.
• 0:41
Still remember we were at the library, we were watching, it
• 0:44
blew up and it was like, let's turn this off and time for a
• 0:48
spelling test. I remember that back for a
• 0:52
spelling test. Anyways, last night everything
• 0:56
worked out that they did get to 6.
• 0:59
We had five and a half as the total.
• 1:01
It did go over, but a boom. But a being about a puck in the
• 1:04
back of the net, but a money in our wallet.
• 1:07
All right. So we got that one to hit.
• 1:10
So we don't have to worry about that.
• 1:11
We're on to the next one. So I'm looking at some college
• 1:14
basketball again here. I don't know nothing, but what I
• 1:17
do know is that it's the University of Miami playing and
• 1:20
they've been doing pretty good. They got their whole, you know,
• 1:24
and Illinois, you know, cohort going.
• 1:27
So they're actually recruiting some good players on the
• 1:30
football field, on the basketball court, you know, in
• 1:34
the money sports basically. So tonight they're hosting
• 1:37
  Stanford and they're ain't 1/2 point favorites.
• 1:40
And basically that's all I know and that's all I need to know
• 1:44
because I'm gonna put my money on the you and hope that they
• 1:46
cover. So we're going University of
• 1:49
Miami -8 1/2 against the Stanford Cardinal in today's
• 1:55
  NCAA men's college basketball action.
• 1:58
Say anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:00
That's my pick and I'm sticking to it.
• 2:02
