- 0:00Speaker 1: It's time for stacks and hacks. I have stacks of information.
- 0:02Speaker 1: Rich has life hacks. This is big news in the
- 0:05Speaker 1: AI world. You keep hearing horrible things about AI.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Yeah.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Like how we're going to be all dead in 10 years.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Cause AI is going to kill us. That's not what
- 0:12Speaker 3: I'm here to talk to you about. This is some
- 0:14Speaker 3: really cool open AI. Just claimed it solved a decades
- 0:17Speaker 3: old math problem. That's been described as quote the, one
- 0:21Speaker 3: of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics. And
- 0:25Speaker 3: they're calling it the biggest day in math in two decades.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like you ever watch Good Will Hunting? They
- 0:33Speaker 1: put that problem into AI and it fixed it in
- 0:34Speaker 1: two seconds.
- 0:35Speaker 2: What if it was just a greater than, less than problem?
- 0:37Speaker 2: That's it. You guys know Bruce Willis, actor Bruce Willis? Yeah.
- 0:41Speaker 1: You know he turned down the role that Patrick Swayze
- 0:44Speaker 1: had in the movie Ghost? He didn't understand how it
- 0:47Speaker 1: would work where the main character was dead for most
- 0:49Speaker 1: of the movie. The role went to Patrick Swayze. Nine
- 0:53Speaker 1: years later, he took the role of the Sixth Sense
- 0:54Speaker 1: where he plays the dead guy the whole movie.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Spoiler alert. It came out in 97.
- 0:59Speaker 4: I was just joking.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Brock's Candy is releasing a candy corn perfume.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It's called Ode to Candy Corn.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It's $ 22 on the website candycornseason.com.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, yes.
- 1:12Speaker 2: My mom would love that. I bet you it smells
- 1:13Speaker 2: so sweet.
- 1:15Speaker 5: You know what?
- 1:15Speaker 2: What's the website? Candy corn what? Hold on. I've moved on.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Candycornseason.com.
- 1:24Speaker 5: I feel like this is a trend because Jell-O just
- 1:27Speaker 5: announced they're getting into cosmetics too.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Like jello lip gloss. His jello does smell good.
- 1:34Speaker 1: A 43-year-old guy in Florida was arrested after he stripped
- 1:37Speaker 1: naked inside a home goods store and exposed himself to
- 1:40Speaker 1: a shopper. He told her, I'm sorry, but I have
- 1:42Speaker 1: to do this.
- 1:43Speaker 2: What? No, you don't. You can always keep things on.
- 1:49Speaker 2: He showed her his goods at a home goods store.
- 1:51Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:53Speaker 1: This is interesting. There's an article that asks, is it
- 1:57Speaker 1: ever okay for childless adults to give parenting advice. Because
- 2:04Speaker 1: even if you don't have kids yourself, it's natural to
- 2:07Speaker 1: have opinions.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Hot topic for my sister. Oh, because you're giving her advice?
- 2:12Speaker 3: All the time.
- 2:12Speaker 4: I'm like, dude, they're bad. B-A, capital D, bad. And
- 2:17Speaker 4: I'll be trying to tell her. I'm like, listen, the
- 2:19Speaker 4: way you, my mom, my grandma, my dad, all of
- 2:22Speaker 4: them are guilty.
- 2:22Speaker 2: I'm like, you guys are all a bunch of suckers.
- 2:24Speaker 4: You're letting these kids run you in circles.
- 2:27Speaker 2: And they tell me all the time, when.
- 2:28Speaker 4: You have kids, when you have kids and you can talk.
- 2:31Speaker 4: And I'm like, I am the outsider here. I see
- 2:34Speaker 4: the flawed system between all of you.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Right. So is it OK for you to Kyle? You
- 2:38Speaker 2: have kids. Is it OK for people to do that,
- 2:40Speaker 2: to give parenting advice about kids? I think if it's solicited, sure.
- 2:44Speaker 2: If it's solicited, there you go. That's a very good determination.
- 2:49Speaker 4: Literally, there are so many times where Kadeem is like,
- 2:51Speaker 4: just stop. Just stop.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Like, if they were ever like, Peyton, what do you think? Like,
- 2:56Speaker 5: I recognize you. Like, what would you do?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Sure. That never gets asked. But unsolicited probably won't be
- 3:03Speaker 2: met with. I'm like, put him in timeout in the corner.
- 3:05Speaker 2: All right, so. You know how you find a spider
- 3:08Speaker 2: in your house? Do you guys ever just take it outside?
- 3:10Speaker 4: No.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Nope.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Dead spider. I do that in my house. If we
- 3:13Speaker 2: find a bug or something, I take it outside.
- 3:15Speaker 1: There's this whole research that says most house spiders have
- 3:19Speaker 1: never lived outside, so moving them out to the yard
- 3:21Speaker 1: doesn't do them at all a favor.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It's a death sentence. No, I'm sure. Might as well
- 3:25Speaker 2: just kill them in your house.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Tesla famously designed the Cybertruck to survive the apocalypse, right?
- 3:32Speaker 1: That's why the Cybertruck was built.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I guess.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Two Cybertrucks now have hit fire hydrants and exploded. So
- 3:42Speaker 1: that's not going to save you.
- 3:43Speaker 2: That wouldn't really survive it, would it?
- 3:43Speaker 1: That would not save you in the apocalypse. We talk
- 3:48Speaker 1: a lot about Google searches sometimes. There's a Google search called,
- 3:51Speaker 1: why is my poop green? And every day it peaks
- 3:54Speaker 1: between 5 a.m.
- 3:55Speaker 2: And 6 a.m. and then again between 6 p.m. and
- 3:57Speaker 2: 7 p.m. That's a thing. People are always Googling it.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I did not know that was a thing, but there
- 4:02Speaker 2: you go.
- 4:02Speaker 1: BuzzFeed rounded up stories from admissions officers in school and colleges,
- 4:06Speaker 1: and they put together the wildest things ever submitted into
- 4:09Speaker 1: an application to join college. So a girl was applying
- 4:13Speaker 1: for med school, and she said that she panics under pressure,
- 4:16Speaker 1: lacks leadership skills, and dislikes hospitals.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And she's trying to apply to med school. Did she
- 4:22Speaker 2: make it in? Probably not.
- 4:24Speaker 1: One kid mailed his shoe in and then joked about
- 4:26Speaker 1: getting his foot in the door.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Funny. Someone wrote the entire essay in red crayon. I
- 4:32Speaker 2: did that. I ever tell you guys that story?
- 4:33Speaker 5: No.
- 4:34Speaker 1: I wrote three sketches for Sign Out Live and I
- 4:36Speaker 1: thought I'll get their attention by writing it all in crayon.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Never got response. Probably thought you were a crazy person.
- 4:45Speaker 1: A student asked if they could please not let them
- 4:47Speaker 1: into the school because they were pressured by their parents
- 4:49Speaker 1: to apply. One person said the happiest place was the
- 4:52Speaker 1: bathroom while using it. One lady said the reason she
- 4:55Speaker 1: wanted to go to law school so she could marry
- 4:57Speaker 1: a lawyer. And some kids said one of his talents
- 4:59Speaker 1: was being able to identify bra cup sizes by sight.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:02Speaker 2: They're all on college applications. Rich, what do you got
- 5:05Speaker 2: for life hacks?
- 5:08Speaker 3: There's probably not much that can ruin your day more
- 5:11Speaker 3: than when a mystery pimple shows up.
- 5:14Speaker 2: A mystery zit. I got one right now, I think.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I saw it this morning over here. Oh, let's try
- 5:17Speaker 2: a thing. Let's try a thing.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Okay, so if you don't have the stickers like Peyton has,
- 5:21Speaker 3: the cool zit, those things, or no zit cream, they
- 5:23Speaker 3: actually say the fastest way to cure a zit is
- 5:26Speaker 3: to pop open an Advil and put that gel directly
- 5:29Speaker 3: on the blemish. It reduces the size and the redness,
- 5:33Speaker 3: according to the hack people, almost immediately.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So- Look for an Advil. I have some Advils, but
- 5:39Speaker 2: I think they're powdered ones. Yeah, well, you mix it
- 5:41Speaker 2: with a little bit of water.
- 5:42Speaker 4: It's the same concept as using toothpaste on your zips.
- 5:44Speaker 4: On your zips.
- 5:45Speaker 2: On your zips, because it dries it out. But you
- 5:47Speaker 2: know how you have a pimple, you feel it, you
- 5:48Speaker 2: know it's there. Yeah, the undergrads. I just saw it
- 5:50Speaker 2: in the mirror. I don't feel it. Maybe it's not
- 5:52Speaker 2: a pimple. Maybe it's something else. Bug bite? I don't know.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I don't feel it.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Or it's a deep pimple.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I saw it. I was like, oh my God, somehow
- 5:59Speaker 2: my face is a little flawed. Well, let's crack open
- 6:02Speaker 2: some Advil on you. That's never happened.
- 6:04Speaker 3: That zit hack and many more can be found at johnjandrich.com.
