- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's time for another Bachelor rekeep. It's episode six. Yes,
- 0:09Speaker 2: after two episodes last week, we're into episode six this week.
- 0:13Speaker 2: What an incredible episode to have. Montreal is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It shows up well again. I think Joey's season is
- 0:22Speaker 2: going to some of the best places and it doesn't
- 0:24Speaker 2: look like it's gonna.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Stop because oh my gosh, yeah, Jasper. I was like,
- 0:29Speaker 3: where is this. Nobody knew where they were going. They're like,
- 0:32Speaker 3: we're going to Jasper. I don't think Maria even knew.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Like the perfect week for a princess date always one
- 0:41Speaker 2: of our favorites is when somebody gets to get dressed
- 0:43Speaker 2: up and treated a real nice Maria has that date.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Here's the big headlines as we start to break this
- 0:48Speaker 2: down for me, Maria skyrockets instead the top three. For me,
- 0:52Speaker 2: I am a huge supporter of Maria. I have no
- 0:54Speaker 2: clue what's been happening in the last few weeks. I
- 0:56Speaker 2: am more confused than ever at why this line cleanly, cleanly,
- 1:02Speaker 2: and it just makes me go, hey, they drop the storyline.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Everybody seems to be happy. That's still there. The people
- 1:09Speaker 2: that are there make sense to me, and so whatever
- 1:12Speaker 2: was happening in these last few episodes, we should forget them,
- 1:16Speaker 2: because I don't think they were as dramatic and as
- 1:21Speaker 2: detrimental to the journey of Joey and these wonderful ladies
- 1:26Speaker 2: as the show tried to make it seem. Maria is
- 1:28Speaker 2: in my top three, and I think she's gonna stay there,
- 1:32Speaker 2: maybe even top two.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I would probably agree that she seems top three right now.
- 1:39Speaker 3: But he also just seems to like everyone in this
- 1:42Speaker 3: top six so much. This is one of those great
- 1:46Speaker 3: seasons where once you hit top six, you actually don't
- 1:50Speaker 3: know what move he's gonna make because all of these
- 1:52Speaker 3: girls have had one on ones. All of these girls
- 1:57Speaker 3: have gotten multiple roses through like through before Rose ceremonies,
- 2:03Speaker 3: you know what I mean, Like they've gotten group date
- 2:04Speaker 3: roses and all that. So like, yeah, it's gonna be really,
- 2:09Speaker 3: it's gonna be shocking. Honestly, whoever gets eliminated next week.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Isn't it great? I Mean I can't remember a season
- 2:16Speaker 2: like this where we'll know, remember, we already know the
- 2:22Speaker 2: top six, and we're so invested into each of them
- 2:25Speaker 2: like some seasons at the top six, we're like, how
- 2:29Speaker 2: we don't even know this person? Like what are they
- 2:31Speaker 2: still doing here? Like obviously they're weren't going home next week.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Usually there's one rando that you're like, you didn't have
- 2:37Speaker 3: a one on one, Like why?
- 2:38Speaker 2: What? What are we doing here? This doesn't make sense.
- 2:41Speaker 2: So Ashley, my uh to kind of kick this off.
- 2:45Speaker 2: My curiosity comes back to you then to say what
- 2:48Speaker 2: has made this season so good when it comes down
- 2:52Speaker 2: to the top six. Now, you just mentioned that Joey
- 2:54Speaker 2: likes all of them. They've all had one on ones,
- 2:56Speaker 2: they've gotten roses, all those things. But I don't know
- 2:59Speaker 2: if that is the delta that's made this different than
- 3:02Speaker 2: past seasons. What about this top six feels different?
- 3:06Speaker 3: We do know them better, but I don't know why
- 3:08Speaker 3: we know them better. They've all gotten a lot of
- 3:10Speaker 3: screen time, but it doesn't feel like some of the
- 3:12Speaker 3: girls that have already left didn't get screen time. Like
- 3:14Speaker 3: I feel like we've just I don't know what it's been, Okay.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I really think it's the lack of drama. I think
- 3:22Speaker 2: the lack of drama allows the space for people's personal
- 3:26Speaker 2: stories to be shared, and for us, this.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Since they should have not had any drama then, because
- 3:32Speaker 3: we all know that the drama that they did have
- 3:33Speaker 3: was stupid.
- 3:34Speaker 2: But it really didn't take up that much time. Like
- 3:37Speaker 2: I know, we had an episode where it felt like
- 3:39Speaker 2: it was kind of like filtering through the whole thing,
- 3:41Speaker 2: but in the midst of the drama, we still saw
- 3:45Speaker 2: one on ones, we saw stories. The drama was not
- 3:48Speaker 2: the episode cliffhanger. Every time for the first five weeks
- 3:54Speaker 2: it took up an episode, but in past seasons recently,
- 3:57Speaker 2: drama has taken up the first five episodes fairly consistently
- 4:01Speaker 2: other than the first episode, So two through five all drama.
- 4:05Speaker 2: It's all chaos. Everybody's arguing, somebody's mad at somebody else.
- 4:10Speaker 2: We're waiting for that person to get home because the villain,
- 4:12Speaker 2: we just don't want to see him there this season.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Call Sidney whatever you call her, if you just call
- 4:19Speaker 2: her you know, a nuisance, if you call her cringe,
- 4:22Speaker 2: if you call her a villain, or if you just
- 4:23Speaker 2: call her misunderstood, whatever you want to call her. She
- 4:27Speaker 2: she didn't. She would definitely be known as the person
- 4:31Speaker 2: that was most focused on when it comes to the
- 4:32Speaker 2: drama of the season. But even then we didn't really
- 4:37Speaker 2: get to know Sidney, like it wasn't like her screen
- 4:40Speaker 2: time was that much more than other women. And as
- 4:43Speaker 2: a result, I think we have to know them and
- 4:45Speaker 2: I think that's what we've been missing is love conquers
- 4:48Speaker 2: the drama, and that's what we want.
- 4:51Speaker 3: That's what we want, and that's what we've gotten. It's
- 4:54Speaker 3: been great, but it's been very well done season. I'm
- 4:56Speaker 3: really I'm really happy, and the feature.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Too, like, let's just keep this going. We don't need
- 5:00Speaker 2: the most dramatic season ever. In fact, Ashley, I do
- 5:04Speaker 2: have a question. I don't know, out of curiosity, does
- 5:07Speaker 2: Jesse start the season saying this is gonna be the
- 5:10Speaker 2: most dramatic season ever.
- 5:12Speaker 3: No, we don't really. I don't remember having an intro
- 5:15Speaker 3: like that, because remember we had that scene that you
- 5:17Speaker 3: thought was from Charity season, which was the moment at
- 5:22Speaker 3: the altar the roast ceremonial els are.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so in the past, obviously we started the season
- 5:27Speaker 2: by saying this is gonna be the most dramatic season ever.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It obviously people feel like it has to live up
- 5:31Speaker 2: to it. The show for a long time was trying
- 5:33Speaker 2: to live up to that. I think it was a
- 5:35Speaker 2: downhill slide for them, so we're kind of reversing course.
- 5:39Speaker 2: It feels like a season of the past. Let's dive
- 5:41Speaker 2: into it. They're again in Montreat all Jesse is the
- 5:46Speaker 2: first to see the women. It is beautiful. It looks gorgeous,
- 5:51Speaker 2: and what Jesse explains from the very beginning is that
- 5:54Speaker 2: there's gonna be a group date in two one on ones.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Everybody's getting a date this week. The first date is
- 6:00Speaker 2: a group day. It's a scavenger hunt. Ashley, this felt
- 6:06Speaker 2: like it was set up to be an awkward date
- 6:07Speaker 2: to me, Like I was thinking, this obviously felt awkward.
- 6:11Speaker 2: The girls kind of felt disconnected going into the cocktail party.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It kind of felt like one of those dates where
- 6:18Speaker 2: Joey was never going to really be able to to
- 6:23Speaker 2: win or to make them feel seen because everybody's running
- 6:26Speaker 2: around like crazy in their own little groups instead of
- 6:30Speaker 2: maybe competing in a sporting event where Joey could kind
- 6:33Speaker 2: of stand on the sidelines. A group date for me, YEA,
- 6:38Speaker 2: when I did it like these would always be the
- 6:40Speaker 2: most intimidating because there's no way to give everybody equal attention,
- 6:46Speaker 2: and at this point you obviously have people that are
- 6:48Speaker 2: feeling very pushed aside because they didn't get the one
- 6:51Speaker 2: on one, so they're already mad. They're kind of bringing
- 6:53Speaker 2: down the vibe of the group. Yeah, it's really hard
- 6:56Speaker 2: to navigate.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah, this definitely gets to be to the point where
- 7:01Speaker 3: there are people there are like a few that haven't
- 7:03Speaker 3: had one ones and they're like super sad, and then
- 7:05Speaker 3: those people who have had one ones and they're like,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I've had one on one, I can't do a group
- 7:11Speaker 3: date anymore, you know, So that's always difficult. I mean
- 7:15Speaker 3: my takeaway My biggest memory from this though, was honestly
- 7:19Speaker 3: them making poutine and Jen's connection with him there and
- 7:25Speaker 3: him saying that he feels like she really stands out
- 7:30Speaker 3: moments like that and she's able to make it seem
- 7:31Speaker 3: like it's just the two of them and she doesn't
- 7:34Speaker 3: feel the threat of the other women around her.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Talk about somebody that we could learn from when it
- 7:38Speaker 2: comes to how you navigate a group date.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I know, I was honestly jealous watching her, Yeah, like
- 7:43Speaker 3: she really is, Yeah, she really is so comfortable, and
- 7:47Speaker 3: I was. It brought me back to those moments and
- 7:50Speaker 3: how I was like, I don't know how I'm supposed
- 7:53Speaker 3: to stand out or like even like speak when there's
- 7:55Speaker 3: other girls around, because even just like saying like one
- 7:58Speaker 3: random sentence in the group makes you feel like everybody's
- 8:01Speaker 3: going to go and analyze that sentence and you're like,
- 8:03Speaker 3: is that stupid? I didn't set in the first place.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I just said it so that like I would say something.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I never wanted attention on the group dates. Really, uh,
- 8:12Speaker 2: it was never like a It would never made me
- 8:14Speaker 2: feel any better or worse to get attention on the
- 8:18Speaker 2: group dates. Quite honestly, it would just it kind of
- 8:21Speaker 2: felt like something I could stand in the background of
- 8:23Speaker 2: and let everybody else who really wanted to stand out
- 8:25Speaker 2: stand out, and I would then have my time at
- 8:28Speaker 2: some point, like I always knew WI, Yeah, I always
- 8:31Speaker 2: have my time. I just didn't need to be the
- 8:33Speaker 2: funniest or the mouse out going or be the one
- 8:35Speaker 2: like hanging on the lead.
- 8:38Speaker 3: It just then that's just because you're naturally so alluring
- 8:42Speaker 3: and like appealing.
- 8:44Speaker 2: That's really sweet. You should ask my wife.
- 8:46Speaker 3: You wouldn't need to do that.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Well. I also just think it would make me like
- 8:51Speaker 2: you kind of like you were saying. My point was
- 8:53Speaker 2: it made me uncomfortable like, I don't want to be
- 8:55Speaker 2: in a group setting and be the one that like
- 8:58Speaker 2: kisses the lead is awkward. That is weird in a sense,
- 9:02Speaker 2: I found it inappropriate. I still find it inappropriate to watch,
- 9:05Speaker 2: Like give that space to do that in your private time.
- 9:10Speaker 2: That could just be me, but it was never something
- 9:14Speaker 2: that I desired. Now there is a huge difference here,
- 9:17Speaker 2: and I think the big point of this group day
- 9:19Speaker 2: leads in the cocktail party, and you have the difference
- 9:22Speaker 2: of Jin who I think could be really hysterical if
- 9:26Speaker 2: we just like saw more of her. I mean, with
- 9:28Speaker 2: the few lines that she said on this episode made
- 9:31Speaker 2: me laugh, Like she once studied abroad and the only
- 9:33Speaker 2: thing she learned how to say was I'm not wearing underwear.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Like I think that was actually like really funny and
- 9:38Speaker 2: it was like a really like like lighthearted way for
- 9:43Speaker 2: her to enter into this day. Yeah, I thought it
- 9:46Speaker 2: was hilarious. And then so you have Jess who's freaking out.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And I don't want to say I told you so.
- 9:55Speaker 3: No, you did, though, and I agreed with you.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Last week.
- 9:58Speaker 3: I said she's leaving, and I knew that she would
- 10:01Speaker 3: leave on the group date.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Well, I said, I told I said this at the
- 10:04Speaker 2: very first episode, Ashley, No.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I know you're right. You called it. She does have it,
- 10:07Speaker 3: Like there's just a vibe she puts out there that's like, Oh,
- 10:14Speaker 3: she's just gonna say too much, too soon, she gona
- 10:17Speaker 3: and he's gonna be like, Nope, don't feel that way,
- 10:19Speaker 3: because you said that, I gotta.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Let you go.
- 10:21Speaker 3: But he would have had he would have let her
- 10:22Speaker 3: go at the Row ceremony either way. But he obviously
- 10:25Speaker 3: let her go on the group date because she's like,
- 10:28Speaker 3: I am I'm falling, and he was like I am not. Yeah,
- 10:32Speaker 3: this is unfair to keep you around. It was just
- 10:34Speaker 3: the writing was so.
- 10:36Speaker 2: On the wall, and it's good. I think it's good
- 10:38Speaker 2: of a lead now that would have been up to him.
- 10:40Speaker 2: The show is not saying, hey, she's going to come
- 10:42Speaker 2: in and say this to you, and you know, like
- 10:45Speaker 2: in that moment and it is kind of an unspoken rule.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I remember I sent somebody home I don't know exactly
- 10:52Speaker 2: who on a group date and the producers freaked out
- 10:56Speaker 2: because they're like, oh really, Oh, They're like, we won't
- 10:58Speaker 2: have a Row ceremony this week, like you don't have
- 11:00Speaker 2: any other Like for whatever reason, enough people had gone home,
- 11:04Speaker 2: were like, we need like our number was yeah, right,
- 11:07Speaker 2: we needed six next week and we are down to six.
- 11:10Speaker 3: So did you not have a road ceremony?
- 11:12Speaker 2: No, we got it canceled?
- 11:14Speaker 3: No way. Okay, Well, then the girls this week were
- 11:16Speaker 3: doing the math and they thought there was going to
- 11:18Speaker 3: be only three girls eliminated, with Lexi having decided to leave,
- 11:22Speaker 3: they got that ROAs ceremony was just going to eliminate
- 11:24Speaker 3: one girl.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Well, at this point lead kind of yeah, it was
- 11:28Speaker 2: not a shocker, right, No, No, she had definitely I
- 11:33Speaker 2: think they thought maybe she could stick around and play
- 11:38Speaker 2: a role to, you know, cause a little case. I
- 11:40Speaker 2: don't think at this point it makes sense for chaos
- 11:43Speaker 2: to be brought in because I really don't know if
- 11:44Speaker 2: any of the women here really give any time to
- 11:49Speaker 2: chaos or any type of drama. I think they would
- 11:51Speaker 2: all be like, yeah, you're good, like you do whatever
- 11:54Speaker 2: you got to do. But I'm not listening to this.
- 11:56Speaker 2: With Ess gone, I think the show I think it
- 12:00Speaker 2: was like, no, Leah's gone. Caitln was one. I do
- 12:04Speaker 2: feel like we didn't see a lot of her. It
- 12:06Speaker 2: never really felt like they clicked, even in their last conversation.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It just felt like it was too far gone that
- 12:14Speaker 2: the show had moved past, you know, kind of where
- 12:16Speaker 2: their relationship stood. I did see a funny meme that
- 12:20Speaker 2: I really hadn't even thought about, but it was like,
- 12:22Speaker 2: I bet Leah wishes she would have kept that card
- 12:25Speaker 2: now to get the one on one date because because
- 12:30Speaker 2: she never got one.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's because she would have gone on a
- 12:34Speaker 3: one on one and would have gotten and she would
- 12:36Speaker 3: have gotten eliminated on it.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Just absolutely wild though, just the scene with Jess. I
- 12:52Speaker 2: want to dig into that a little bit. I think
- 12:54Speaker 2: that's a good move from Joey is to send somebody
- 12:57Speaker 2: home in that manner, because what he did get to
- 12:59Speaker 2: do is explain himself a little bit and walk her
- 13:01Speaker 2: out and not.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Walk her out in front of the other girls, which
- 13:04Speaker 3: I was petrified of.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it was just it would have been too awkward.
- 13:08Speaker 2: And so I know it feels a little cold maybe,
- 13:13Speaker 2: but that is the most sensitive way, given the fort
- 13:16Speaker 2: framework of the show, to actually send somebody home is
- 13:19Speaker 2: to do it like he like, like he did it
- 13:23Speaker 2: with Jess. It just gives more time than ever good.
- 13:28Speaker 3: He's so good, Ben, He's like he really reminds me like,
- 13:32Speaker 3: I think you're the closest one of his like demeanor.
- 13:36Speaker 3: He's good, Like I think you were the last one
- 13:38Speaker 3: who had like such a kind and warm demeanor in
- 13:41Speaker 3: moments like this.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well, he's really good and I was waiting for this
- 13:45Speaker 2: moment we talked about a little bit last week. You know,
- 13:48Speaker 2: I think Joey is absolutely fantastic. I have nothing but
- 13:52Speaker 2: great things to say about him. I think he is authentic.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I think he is genuine. I think he is trying
- 13:56Speaker 2: his best in this moment to not only do this
- 14:00Speaker 2: journey well, but also make the women that come feel
- 14:03Speaker 2: cared for or maybe they're happy that they at least
- 14:06Speaker 2: gave it a shot with him. I think all those
- 14:09Speaker 2: things mark a really great lead, and I think Joey
- 14:11Speaker 2: is that. The one thing I was confused about up
- 14:14Speaker 2: to this point, or just waiting for maybe, was where
- 14:17Speaker 2: is Joey's empathy at? Because he, yes, he does respond
- 14:20Speaker 2: well in the midst of these stories, and he does respond.
- 14:24Speaker 2: You can tell he cares and you can tell he listens.
- 14:27Speaker 2: But everything to this point has marked that Joey is
- 14:31Speaker 2: feeling this. Also, remember last week we talked about how
- 14:34Speaker 2: heavy this must be on him hearing these these true stories,
- 14:38Speaker 2: these really incredible stories of coming through hardship each and
- 14:44Speaker 2: every week, maybe multiple times a week, and how much
- 14:47Speaker 2: that he must have felt it. But he really wasn't
- 14:48Speaker 2: showing that it was affecting him too much until this week.
- 14:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we forgot about talking about the open ex scene.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Until this week, and I think we saw. I think
- 15:01Speaker 2: for me, what it did was it. I don't know
- 15:05Speaker 2: how else to say this other than making it sound insensitive.
- 15:08Speaker 2: It checked one more box off for me when it
- 15:10Speaker 2: comes to Joey. And I said, no, no, no, no,
- 15:13Speaker 2: he is feeling this like he is in this. He's
- 15:15Speaker 2: not just crying because he's hurt. He's crying because this
- 15:20Speaker 2: has been so overwhelming. He's feeling like maybe he's going
- 15:23Speaker 2: to get rejected and maybe that he's not going to
- 15:26Speaker 2: be loved it like he loves somebody else. But I
- 15:29Speaker 2: don't think he shows this emotion unless he's really feeling
- 15:33Speaker 2: all the emotions that have been communicated to him throughout
- 15:38Speaker 2: the course of The Bachelor so far. And so I said, no,
- 15:41Speaker 2: he isn't it like this dude is feeling everything, which
- 15:45Speaker 2: is beautiful to watch, and I feel for him, because
- 15:47Speaker 2: it's so hard when you're doing that and you're in
- 15:51Speaker 2: that and every moment just, you know, kind of like
- 15:55Speaker 2: hits your heart.
- 15:57Speaker 3: So do you think that he is hearing these stories
- 16:01Speaker 3: and thinking like I won't be able to support these
- 16:03Speaker 3: women the way that they'll need me to or because
- 16:07Speaker 3: or do you think he's just having a totally separate
- 16:11Speaker 3: moment where he's just like everybody thinks I'm perfect and
- 16:15Speaker 3: I'm not, and I'm having an identity criticis sort of thing,
- 16:19Speaker 3: because again, this reminded me of you and like the
- 16:21Speaker 3: whole perfect Bend thing, and like they didn't put that
- 16:25Speaker 3: umbrella over him the way that they did it for you.
- 16:28Speaker 3: But it's reminding me of an episode with Charity where
- 16:32Speaker 3: he was like, they don't really know the real me.
- 16:35Speaker 3: I don't know if I really know the real me,
- 16:37Speaker 3: Like I'm not that great, and I'm like, that's what
- 16:41Speaker 3: Jared went through with me. He was always like, she'd
- 16:45Speaker 3: thinks I'm the most amazing man in the entire world,
- 16:48Speaker 3: and I cannot live up to that because I am
- 16:50Speaker 3: so flawed. And if only she knew what I was
- 16:53Speaker 3: really liked behind closed doors, she would never have this
- 16:56Speaker 3: interest in me, and I feel like that's coming into
- 16:59Speaker 3: play here with Joey. But I'm also like at the
- 17:02Speaker 3: same time, thinking about the charity episode and being like, Joey,
- 17:08Speaker 3: is there something dark and scary about you that we're
- 17:11Speaker 3: not seeing, because this is the second time you're bringing
- 17:14Speaker 3: it up like this.
- 17:15Speaker 2: No, I mean, I think it's an irrational I mean
- 17:17Speaker 2: I think for him, he's there's humility being shown. I
- 17:21Speaker 2: think he realizes he's human. And I also think that
- 17:27Speaker 2: and I can speak to this a little bit from experience,
- 17:29Speaker 2: because you're right, I've talked about it. But when I
- 17:32Speaker 2: remember watching in Jamaica the trailer for my season that
- 17:36Speaker 2: came out and the tagline was the perfect Bin, I
- 17:38Speaker 2: broke down because I knew that one it felt like
- 17:43Speaker 2: it was inauthentic. It felt like one the show was
- 17:47Speaker 2: communicating in me in a way that I did not
- 17:50Speaker 2: believe was true, and two, it was just setting me
- 17:52Speaker 2: up for failure. It was just setting me up to
- 17:54Speaker 2: disappoint somebody at some point. And I thought, yeah, this
- 17:58Speaker 2: is that I broke down. So I can speak to
- 18:01Speaker 2: this a little bit. With what Joey's expressing, I think
- 18:04Speaker 2: a little bit of it is humility I think also
- 18:07Speaker 2: a little bit of it is the situation he's in.
- 18:10Speaker 2: You know, Joey's an attractive dude, right, But I don't
- 18:14Speaker 2: believe that he was walking around Hawaii and every girl
- 18:19Speaker 2: was swooning over him. I'm sure the girls were like, Oh,
- 18:21Speaker 2: he's so cute.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Have this haircut?
- 18:23Speaker 2: Well, yeah, have a haircut.
- 18:24Speaker 3: But I'm still I don't know what happened to this man. Okay,
- 18:27Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say it. A lot of our time
- 18:29Speaker 3: on Charity season, I was like, yeah, like he's cute. Yeah, Okay,
- 18:34Speaker 3: he's cute. And now I'm like, is that is a
- 18:37Speaker 3: hot man?
- 18:38Speaker 2: Yeah? Well? And so I do think when you get
- 18:42Speaker 2: in a situation like this and you have all these
- 18:45Speaker 2: incredible women that are staying around for you, and you're
- 18:50Speaker 2: emotional because all these women have incredible stories and they're
- 18:53Speaker 2: expressing themselves to you, and they're expressing their feelings to you,
- 18:57Speaker 2: and you're like, you feel uncomfortable. Quite honestly, you don't.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I think good leads don't ever feel it, really feel
- 19:05Speaker 2: like they're the bachelor. You know. They don't go into
- 19:07Speaker 2: it being like, yes, come here, ladies, like you want
- 19:11Speaker 2: to date me, Like you're lucky to be with me.
- 19:14Speaker 2: I think when it comes to Joey, he's humble, he's
- 19:18Speaker 2: not used to this, and he's creating all these stories
- 19:21Speaker 2: in his head, mostly around and what I think he's
- 19:24Speaker 2: pointing to is at the end of this, if I
- 19:27Speaker 2: am lucky enough to be with one of these amazing women,
- 19:30Speaker 2: they're going to be greatly disappointed in who I am
- 19:34Speaker 2: and what my life looks like. You know, I mean,
- 19:36Speaker 2: he what right now? I think he's publicly said he
- 19:38Speaker 2: lives with his sister. Yeah.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Jared had that insecurity too. He was like, do you
- 19:43Speaker 3: know what? She has? No idea like the lifestyle I
- 19:46Speaker 3: will be able to give her right now.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's I do think there's a lot of
- 19:50Speaker 2: emotion being expressed through his concerns, and I think we
- 19:54Speaker 2: have to look past what he's saying and when it
- 19:56Speaker 2: comes to these women think I'm perfect, and look more
- 20:00Speaker 2: into what he's actually trying to communicate, which is I
- 20:03Speaker 2: don't know if they really know me. It's not like
- 20:05Speaker 2: I have a deep, dark secret. It's not like I
- 20:07Speaker 2: don't think I'm a good dude. I wouldn't sign up
- 20:09Speaker 2: for this if I didn't think I was at least
- 20:11Speaker 2: able to be married or at least maybe husband material. However,
- 20:16Speaker 2: I do think I'm gonna fall short of their expectations
- 20:19Speaker 2: of me, and that scares me. I think it's a
- 20:21Speaker 2: real fear, and I think it's a fear that I
- 20:22Speaker 2: hope we get to see more of, or at least
- 20:25Speaker 2: him communicate more of, because I think it's only gonna
- 20:28Speaker 2: make us more related or like, feel more relatable to him.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Do you think that they're building this up though, for
- 20:33Speaker 3: him to get dumped at the altar and like, because
- 20:37Speaker 3: it seems like that it's they're trying to build a story.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Now, Yeah, do you know what happened?
- 20:43Speaker 3: No, he's too close to Joey guys, he knows things.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I think we'll get a happy ending because he's kind
- 20:50Speaker 2: of pointed to that. I do believe we're going to
- 20:52Speaker 2: get a happy ending here. I don't think we should
- 20:54Speaker 2: set ourselves up as viewers to believe that this is
- 20:57Speaker 2: going to be a really sad story, okay or ending.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I do though, think that, unfortunately, the signs are all
- 21:06Speaker 2: pointing based on the fact that six women left, and
- 21:09Speaker 2: as you said it, he feels all six of them,
- 21:11Speaker 2: and he's into all six of them. These next few
- 21:15Speaker 2: episodes are going to be heart wrenching to watch. He
- 21:18Speaker 2: is going to be torn to pieces because he has
- 21:22Speaker 2: to send some of these home. He's not going to
- 21:24Speaker 2: understand why he's sending so and so home because they,
- 21:27Speaker 2: in any other given circumstance, could be somebody he would
- 21:30Speaker 2: see himself being spending his life with. Every week from
- 21:34Speaker 2: here on out is going to be heart wrenching and
- 21:37Speaker 2: it sucks. It's so hard. I've been in it, and
- 21:41Speaker 2: it's so hard. He's going to be in his room
- 21:44Speaker 2: balling his eyes out, being like, what in the world
- 21:46Speaker 2: did I sign up for?
- 21:47Speaker 3: I'm so sad for him, but I'm just so happy.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I know, I'm so bumped. I'm so excited.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Oh sorry, Joey. Okay, wait, let's talk about something else
- 21:57Speaker 3: right now. Lexi and her decision to leave on her own,
- 22:00Speaker 3: because it is at the group date where she poises
- 22:03Speaker 3: the question to him, like, what is your timeline if
- 22:08Speaker 3: you leave here with somebody? And he does say two
- 22:11Speaker 3: to three year long engagement, which is a long time
- 22:17Speaker 3: for an engagement in my point of view, but I'm
- 22:23Speaker 3: taking into consideration this is a different process, and in
- 22:26Speaker 3: his mind it's probably like, well, we're kind of dating
- 22:28Speaker 3: for one and a half two years, then we'll plan
- 22:32Speaker 3: the wedding and get married then, So that would have
- 22:35Speaker 3: thrown me off of our Lexi thirty year old Lexi
- 22:38Speaker 3: with endometriosis, who has talked on Instagram recently about how
- 22:42Speaker 3: she had just frozen her eggs like oh, two weeks
- 22:46Speaker 3: before going on The Bachelor. She was still recovering from that.
- 22:48Speaker 3: She actually said that she felt so insecure about how
- 22:52Speaker 3: puffy her face was. I'm like, girl, are you kidding me?
- 22:54Speaker 3: Like a supermodel. So they both handled that question conversation
- 23:03Speaker 3: really well. He was so honest and then she, I'm
- 23:07Speaker 3: sure was very disappointed in hearing the answer, but still
- 23:10Speaker 3: like took it really well. And then a couple of
- 23:14Speaker 3: days later she know, she mulls it over and just
- 23:17Speaker 3: realizes that that's not something that she can't work with
- 23:20Speaker 3: that timeline. He does say that for the right person,
- 23:25Speaker 3: he could, like it could change. So my question to
- 23:28Speaker 3: you is, do you think she should have stayed a
- 23:31Speaker 3: week or two longer, bearing that she was going to
- 23:33Speaker 3: get roses during that time, or did she make the
- 23:37Speaker 3: right decision in leaving, because maybe she could have been
- 23:40Speaker 3: the person to change his mind. Even though I know
- 23:42Speaker 3: we said last week after they're one on one that
- 23:45Speaker 3: we didn't feel such strong chemistry between them, But when
- 23:49Speaker 3: she left, Joey certainly made it seem like they had
- 23:54Speaker 3: something really strong and big.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Mmm, you think I disagree, But you.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Think that he was just trying to be nice? What
- 24:00Speaker 3: do you think?
- 24:01Speaker 1: No?
- 24:02Speaker 2: I think if I think if your future wife walks
- 24:04Speaker 2: out at this point in time, you would be broken up.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Okay, I'm going to change. I'll do this for.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You, like you would be like almost at a point
- 24:11Speaker 2: where you like beg or you're like no, no, no, please, don't,
- 24:14Speaker 2: please don't. Then once they decide to leave, you get
- 24:17Speaker 2: like you feel like the world's swirling around you. I
- 24:22Speaker 2: don't feel like that. Okay, he happened to him. I
- 24:25Speaker 2: think he cared about her, and I think he saw
- 24:27Speaker 2: her in a great light. But I think both of
- 24:30Speaker 2: them knew that this was not going to be there forever.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Person see.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I thought that she knew that, which is why she
- 24:40Speaker 3: made the decision. But he just seemed like he said
- 24:44Speaker 3: something really intense, like.
- 24:46Speaker 2: It would have been one of Joey's greatest fears would
- 24:48Speaker 2: be at this point in time hit one of his
- 24:50Speaker 2: top three women leaving like it would crush him. I'll
- 24:55Speaker 2: tell you that it would destroy him.
- 24:57Speaker 3: If we're talking like Kelsey or Daisy's helling him this
- 25:01Speaker 3: like it's different.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I think Kelsey, Daisy. I don't think
- 25:06Speaker 2: I could put Maria in there. Kelsey t I would
- 25:09Speaker 2: put in there. Probably Rachel I'd put in there. Still.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I think Maria might be in my top three. But
- 25:14Speaker 2: I don't think Joey's fully convinced yet. I just I
- 25:19Speaker 2: think there was like a too much in the middle
- 25:21Speaker 2: of their relationship. But I would say, if let's just
- 25:25Speaker 2: use Daisy as an example, if Daisy came to him
- 25:27Speaker 2: said I'm going to go home, he would be a wreck.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Like you would see a different reaction. So it didn't.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I think it's a good decision by her, and I
- 25:36Speaker 2: think it makes sense. I think it's a very mature
- 25:40Speaker 2: decision to make. I know, it's hard to leave this
- 25:42Speaker 2: show because you're having a great time and you want
- 25:45Speaker 2: to know where you're going next, and it's exciting to
- 25:47Speaker 2: be with the women, and Joey's great and so you're
- 25:50Speaker 2: still into kind of dating him and having this experience.
- 25:52Speaker 2: But for her to say, hey, you know what, like
- 25:56Speaker 2: I want things that maybe you don't want. At this point,
- 25:58Speaker 2: I've been thinking about it and it's time for me
- 26:00Speaker 2: to go home, like very mature of her. The sad
- 26:03Speaker 2: part is I don't know how much more will see
- 26:05Speaker 2: of her, Like I don't think she's the next bachelorette.
- 26:07Speaker 2: So it's just sad because I liked I enjoyed watching
- 26:11Speaker 2: her on television.
- 26:12Speaker 3: But that's why we need paradise to happen, guys, because
- 26:16Speaker 3: it's really too sad to have, like to grow an
- 26:21Speaker 3: attachment to these characters then never to see them again.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I know, I know, I agree.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Really weird.
- 26:37Speaker 2: So kelsey T is up next with the one on one, Right,
- 26:40Speaker 2: kelsey T has a one on one. Been very excited
- 26:43Speaker 2: for kelsey T to have her a moment because she's
- 26:45Speaker 2: been amazing and she's been patient, and I know that
- 26:48Speaker 2: she started to speak out recently like hey I want
- 26:50Speaker 2: to one on one. It wasn't shocking that she got
- 26:53Speaker 2: it this week. It was really cool that she got
- 26:55Speaker 2: it this week.
- 26:56Speaker 3: That day sucked it aw Okay, yeah, I know that
- 27:00Speaker 3: he had like you know, the motion sickness and all that.
- 27:02Speaker 3: While I I kind of dazed.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Out of that. Yeah, circus Lay is so cool, Like
- 27:07Speaker 2: the concept of it was awesome, and they could have
- 27:10Speaker 2: been doing really cool stuff with circus La like they
- 27:12Speaker 2: could have been. There's so many parts of that show
- 27:15Speaker 2: that they could have experimented with and seen and enjoyed.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I think circus La is one of the coolest acts
- 27:20Speaker 2: I've ever seen with my own eyes. I was excited
- 27:23Speaker 2: when they say we're gonna train with circus La. The
- 27:25Speaker 2: problem is they literally like said, hey guys, we're gonna
- 27:28Speaker 2: put you in the most gut wrenching literally things that
- 27:32Speaker 2: circus La does. We're gonna spin you in a circle
- 27:33Speaker 2: as fast as you can. We're gonna hang you from
- 27:35Speaker 2: your feet, We're gonna spin you around. We're gonna get
- 27:36Speaker 2: you in this weird like you know, rat race circle thing,
- 27:41Speaker 2: and we're gonna spin you around again. This was awful, Like,
- 27:43Speaker 2: who set this up? No, Like, nobody wants to do
- 27:47Speaker 2: this all the time, especially if weren't trained for it.
- 27:50Speaker 2: There is They could have been cute, it could have
- 27:51Speaker 2: been exciting, it could have been fun, It could have
- 27:54Speaker 2: been great promotion for circus La. Instead, it just looked
- 27:56Speaker 2: like it would make my Stomacher.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Yeah for sure. So they didn't have any moments of
- 28:04Speaker 3: real bonding there because he did feel so sick. It's
- 28:08Speaker 3: wasted afternoon really, But then we go to the dinner
- 28:13Speaker 3: time and I know you're gonna disagree with me. I
- 28:18Speaker 3: actually didn't think that he felt it so much. There
- 28:23Speaker 3: was a moment where I was like, she is she
- 28:27Speaker 3: gonna share this story and then not get the rose?
- 28:33Speaker 3: You didn't pick up on that.
- 28:36Speaker 2: It's it's it's hard for me because I don't have
- 28:40Speaker 2: a lot to compare it to as of recent when
- 28:42Speaker 2: it comes to incredible dates. I mean, Rachel was close.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I would maybe say in general, it feels like at
- 28:50Speaker 2: times on these one on ones they aren't connecting in
- 28:54Speaker 2: a way that the Daisies and the kelsey A's connect
- 28:57Speaker 2: and so everybody else is kind of catching up to it.
- 29:02Speaker 2: And maybe that's what we're compared.
- 29:03Speaker 3: To that, Like he told the story and then like
- 29:07Speaker 3: I just felt like he was like hmm, yeah, and
- 29:10Speaker 3: it been here, you know what I mean?
- 29:13Speaker 2: But also like how do you respond? I don't know.
- 29:15Speaker 3: I think that's actually probably the answer, Ben is that
- 29:18Speaker 3: he probably just didn't really know how to respond, and
- 29:21Speaker 3: especially with it being like your first day, like you
- 29:25Speaker 3: probably didn't want to get into religion, especially with the
- 29:29Speaker 3: camera's there, Like that's probably a conversation that he's like,
- 29:31Speaker 3: you know what, we can save this for the fantasy
- 29:33Speaker 3: this week.
- 29:33Speaker 2: If you get there, well, you know, it's different. I
- 29:36Speaker 2: don't know what Joey's like faith tradition looks like. I
- 29:39Speaker 2: don't know where he comes from. Personally. For me, it
- 29:41Speaker 2: was always a big topic, and so we talked about
- 29:44Speaker 2: our faith and kind of how we saw the foundation
- 29:48Speaker 2: of our lives and all that quite often because it
- 29:51Speaker 2: was so important to me. It was probably it was
- 29:53Speaker 2: definitely very prevalent. It never got showed. It was never
- 29:56Speaker 2: a topic that was ever showed because I think the
- 29:58Speaker 2: show stays away from it for the moment part. But
- 30:01Speaker 2: it was always a very common conversation because it is
- 30:04Speaker 2: just common in my life. I'm curious more than anything
- 30:07Speaker 2: about people's face or lack of face or where you know,
- 30:11Speaker 2: why the beliefs are the way they are, Like, it's
- 30:13Speaker 2: a curiosity for me. I think when it comes to
- 30:18Speaker 2: Kelsey one again, a really like courageous story to share.
- 30:25Speaker 2: I know that she hasn't shared it often, and I
- 30:27Speaker 2: know how hard it would be in this environment to
- 30:29Speaker 2: share it. So I don't want to like not fully
- 30:34Speaker 2: appreciate what she was sharing. I do think, uh, and somebody, actually,
- 30:40Speaker 2: I think on my Instagram, give me the official medical
- 30:42Speaker 2: word for this. But so I'm not gonna say it.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I mean I wish I could. I can't remember what
- 30:49Speaker 2: it was said, but thank you for sending me that,
- 30:50Speaker 2: because it doesn't make sense. He's emotionally exhausted. And when
- 30:53Speaker 2: you get emotionally exhausted, no matter what somebody's sharing with you,
- 30:57Speaker 2: like you don't have I mean, at least for me,
- 31:01Speaker 2: you get brain fog and you're like, I don't know
- 31:04Speaker 2: what to say.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Again, Yeah, he's really had like the right thing to say,
- 31:08Speaker 3: and then he was probably just like I don't have
- 31:10Speaker 3: it in me right now.
- 31:11Speaker 2: No, And I mean, I think that's very fair, and
- 31:14Speaker 2: that's why I don't want to under emphasize just how
- 31:18Speaker 2: like I think with this season, we're getting a good
- 31:20Speaker 2: picture of how hard it is to be the lead.
- 31:22Speaker 2: And I'd never love when people are like, it's the
- 31:24Speaker 2: hardest thing I've ever done, because quite frankly, it's it's
- 31:28Speaker 2: wild and there's you know, if this is if the
- 31:29Speaker 2: bachelor is the hardest thing you've ever done in your life.
- 31:31Speaker 2: You've got a lot of grown up to do. But
- 31:33Speaker 2: I don't want to underemphasize just how difficult this is,
- 31:37Speaker 2: especially when you care to be in these moments time
- 31:41Speaker 2: after time after time after time after time again, because
- 31:45Speaker 2: you're not trained for it. You're not a therapist, you're
- 31:47Speaker 2: not in ministry, you're not a psychologist. You're just sitting
- 31:51Speaker 2: there taking it and trying to feel it with these people,
- 31:55Speaker 2: and you get tired of it, you get exhausted, and
- 31:59Speaker 2: you don't always have the right words, and sometimes you
- 32:02Speaker 2: don't even like have any empathy left, at least in
- 32:05Speaker 2: my situation. And so I just think it's Joey's at
- 32:08Speaker 2: a point where he's ready to start having fun again.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Okay, Well, I feel bad for you've ben pointing it
- 32:14Speaker 3: out now.
- 32:15Speaker 2: No, I mean I think he was off. I don't know.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Maybe he wasn't off. Maybe No, I think that's a
- 32:21Speaker 2: sign word to say he could have been off. That's okay, right, Ashley.
- 32:24Speaker 2: As humans, how often are you off? You're off? Often?
- 32:27Speaker 2: I'm off? Often, Like it's okay to be off. You're
- 32:30Speaker 2: expecting a dude or a woman to be on for
- 32:34Speaker 2: forty straight dates and to be like nailing it and
- 32:38Speaker 2: to be in it. No, you were getting a picture
- 32:40Speaker 2: of the human experience and the human experiences over time,
- 32:43Speaker 2: you get tired and you can only handle so much
- 32:47Speaker 2: until you need boundaries and you maybe need to disappear
- 32:49Speaker 2: for a few days. You know. Joey's talked about how
- 32:51Speaker 2: he's an introvert. He isn't as outgoing as others. He
- 32:54Speaker 2: probably at this point like all I need is three
- 32:56Speaker 2: days to go and be silent and sit alone, and
- 32:59Speaker 2: he ain't gonna get it.
- 33:00Speaker 3: He totally said that in the beginning of the episode.
- 33:02Speaker 3: He said, like, I'm not the guy that's like who
- 33:05Speaker 3: I want to have fun and I want to be
- 33:07Speaker 3: out there and talking all the time.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, he probably is desiring alone time. He's
- 33:13Speaker 2: probably desiring to just breathe, and he isn't gonna get it,
- 33:18Speaker 2: And so we're just gonna see him get really tired
- 33:20Speaker 2: and really burnt out until you know, he'll find a
- 33:27Speaker 2: way to kind of revive himself for those next two weeks.
- 33:29Speaker 2: But I remember after my season, I slept for like
- 33:33Speaker 2: a full two days. I could not wake up like
- 33:36Speaker 2: you were just in a fog of like confusion what
- 33:38Speaker 2: just happened?
- 33:39Speaker 3: Well, you also had like a tapeworm, you know.
- 33:41Speaker 2: So yeah, that's it's a good excuse. Well, so we
- 33:44Speaker 2: go from kelsey T's day where she did get a rose,
- 33:47Speaker 2: she was amazing on it is the connection where others
- 33:51Speaker 2: are I don't think so, but it does feel like
- 33:53Speaker 2: there's something there where kelsey T I think will be
- 33:57Speaker 2: around a while. Still.
- 33:58Speaker 3: You don't really think a why because think about a
- 34:01Speaker 3: while right now, because it's like, does she get a
- 34:03Speaker 3: hometown next or does she not? Yeah?
- 34:05Speaker 2: I think she gets a hometown.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you think she gets a hometown.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I think she gets hometown.
- 34:09Speaker 3: I think you have to think about your math right here,
- 34:12Speaker 3: because I think you're immediately going to give a hometown too,
- 34:15Speaker 3: as you've said Maria Daisy, I think Kelsey A. And
- 34:19Speaker 3: then all right, so then you're saying, in the toss
- 34:22Speaker 3: up between Rachel, kelsey T and who am I missing
- 34:28Speaker 3: Jen Jen, You're gonna give that one to kelsey T.
- 34:32Speaker 2: I am, okay, I am. That's my vote right now,
- 34:35Speaker 2: that's my prediction. But we do have the one on
- 34:37Speaker 2: want with Maria. I think Maria shine bright, she was awesome.
- 34:44Speaker 2: She really was. I don't have any other words for
- 34:47Speaker 2: Maria and in this date. Then I watched it and
- 34:49Speaker 2: I was like, she's she's into Joey, She's feeling these moments.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I was emotional with her. I think it was a
- 34:58Speaker 2: spectacular date at and it it's It was good for
- 35:03Speaker 2: me also because it felt like it was a date
- 35:05Speaker 2: that moved us past the Maria storyline, where like, we
- 35:09Speaker 2: don't know if she's causing chaos, we don't know what
- 35:11Speaker 2: she's actually saying. Why are all these people so mad
- 35:13Speaker 2: at her all the time? To know that Maria is
- 35:16Speaker 2: this is her moment, Like that's gone and she made
- 35:18Speaker 2: it through it, and now her and Joey get to
- 35:21Speaker 2: figure this thing out again. I really like this date
- 35:25Speaker 2: I did.
- 35:25Speaker 3: It's a great date. It was a good date. She
- 35:29Speaker 3: is so easy to watch on TV. She's so comfortable.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I don't know whether she's just there's a combination of
- 35:37Speaker 3: her just being comfortable with Joey, comfortable probably flirting and
- 35:42Speaker 3: with men. I feel like she just has that personality
- 35:46Speaker 3: that combined with her comfort in front of the camera,
- 35:48Speaker 3: like she just seems totally herself, like no reservations.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Yeah, she does I mean, and she seems totally herself
- 35:55Speaker 2: with Joey. She seems super into him, Like there's no
- 35:59Speaker 2: question in my mind that she's not there to try
- 36:03Speaker 2: to make this work with him. She hasn't even I mean,
- 36:08Speaker 2: you would almost expect her to have the personality of
- 36:11Speaker 2: maybe past contestants where they're always trying to be showy
- 36:14Speaker 2: or shown or be the center of attention. She doesn't
- 36:17Speaker 2: have that. She just feels like a good, big personality
- 36:22Speaker 2: who's confident and who says what she thinks and as
- 36:27Speaker 2: a result, maybe rubs people the wrong way. But for
- 36:29Speaker 2: the most part, it just feels like Maria's Maria and
- 36:32Speaker 2: that's okay. And I think Joey's into it.
- 36:36Speaker 3: He's so into it. She's different than She's definitely different
- 36:39Speaker 3: than the others. The others have like more of a
- 36:42Speaker 3: serious relationship. They have a more playful relationship. When I
- 36:45Speaker 3: watch them together, it feels like watching a couple like
- 36:50Speaker 3: at a bar on a first date, being flirty. In
- 36:55Speaker 3: This feel like when they're on a date. I feel like,
- 36:58Speaker 3: this seems like really authentic. This doesn't sound seem like
- 37:01Speaker 3: a bachelor date to me. This just seems like me
- 37:05Speaker 3: like kind of spying in on somebody else's actual date.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels very It does feel very real in
- 37:14Speaker 2: so many ways. And so that's why I said Maria
- 37:16Speaker 2: skyrockets into the top three for me now before.
- 37:18Speaker 3: That she's so confident, and I'm like, I'm a little
- 37:21Speaker 3: jealous of how like she can just strut out of
- 37:23Speaker 3: the dressing room and just be like, Hey, what do
- 37:25Speaker 3: you think I look like in this? Like I would
- 37:26Speaker 3: feel so awkward. But love, of course, I love the
- 37:30Speaker 3: princess date, the pretty woman date, whatever you want to
- 37:32Speaker 3: call it, but like for me to have to model
- 37:36Speaker 3: clothes for a guy that I've never been on a
- 37:38Speaker 3: one on one date with before, I would feel so awkward.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she's great. I mean I do I think
- 37:44Speaker 2: she I think she's really good for the show too.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I think the show fits her because she is more
- 37:49Speaker 2: confident and she can do all that stuff and not
- 37:51Speaker 2: be scared of it. And I'm just really happy for
- 37:56Speaker 2: her outside everything else that she got to move on
- 38:00Speaker 2: from really probably feeling hated in the house at times,
- 38:04Speaker 2: and I don't love that feeling. That wasn't like a
- 38:07Speaker 2: really fun couple of episodes to watch. So before we
- 38:10Speaker 2: give our top threes. They are in Jasper, Canada next week.
- 38:14Speaker 2: It looks gorgeous. There's nothing of note really in the
- 38:19Speaker 2: kind of teaser other than a few people crying. Jen
- 38:24Speaker 2: specifically crying saying she's scared to lose Joey, which is
- 38:28Speaker 2: a big change because Jen at this point has been happy,
- 38:31Speaker 2: go lucky, you know, hasn't really had as much television
- 38:36Speaker 2: time as others. We don't know her, we probably know
- 38:38Speaker 2: her the least out of all of the ladies left.
- 38:42Speaker 2: So something happens where they connect and she really starts
- 38:45Speaker 2: to share her heart with Joey and she starts to fall.
- 38:49Speaker 2: We also see Maria say she doesn't know she can
- 38:51Speaker 2: do this anymore. So there's there's obviously going to be
- 38:54Speaker 2: emotions that come up. I hope it's I hope it's
- 38:56Speaker 2: from love and not from drama. But it feels like
- 38:59Speaker 2: it's going to be all from from love.
- 39:01Speaker 3: From love.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it's all going to be from love and
- 39:03Speaker 2: just everybody's emotions at this point of being sky sky high,
- 39:07Speaker 2: they're just sky high. And as Ashley and I have mentioned,
- 39:11Speaker 2: I don't know who he's really going to send home.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I mean, I did give my prediction, I don't know
- 39:14Speaker 2: if it's right, Ashley. I think I think Kelsey A
- 39:19Speaker 2: and Daisy are the two for me that sit confidently
- 39:24Speaker 2: going forward. I think Maria then would come third. So
- 39:28Speaker 2: let's give our top three for me in this order.
- 39:31Speaker 2: It goes Kelsey A, Daisy.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Maria, Kelsey A, Daisy for me and then yeah, I
- 39:40Speaker 3: think can I can I copy you?
- 39:42Speaker 2: You can copy me because.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I think it might be Maria too. I want to
- 39:45Speaker 3: say it was it could have been Jen, But now
- 39:47Speaker 3: if you're talking about the seage in the next episode,
- 39:49Speaker 3: there is a little doubt in there. Can I just
- 39:51Speaker 3: also mention that how I think that Kelsey is standing
- 39:56Speaker 3: Kelsey A is standing strongly at like my tops because
- 40:01Speaker 3: it was a sexy moment. I like looked over Jared
- 40:04Speaker 3: while I was watching it. I was like it was cute,
- 40:08Speaker 3: but like he didn't even notice. He wasn't watching it,
- 40:10Speaker 3: and I was just like, that was swoonye.
- 40:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:14Speaker 3: He said to her. She said like, I'm falling along
- 40:17Speaker 3: with you, and he was like, would you just whisper?
- 40:20Speaker 3: Did you just whisper that? He's like, say it louder
- 40:22Speaker 3: and I was like, whoa. It was like it was hot.
- 40:26Speaker 2: See I think you know what, I thought, what he's
- 40:31Speaker 2: so good at this that he was like, hey, the camp,
- 40:34Speaker 2: the audio couldn't pick that up, so you got to
- 40:35Speaker 2: say that louder.
- 40:37Speaker 3: No, I thought that is not what he did. The
- 40:41Speaker 3: way that, the look in his eye when he said it,
- 40:44Speaker 3: it was just it was. It was a great moment.
- 40:46Speaker 3: It was that was a movie moment.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Come to Papa Joey. It's gonna be a great season.
- 40:53Speaker 2: We've given you our top threes. We're excited for next week.
- 40:56Speaker 2: We're very invested. So until next time, I've been, I
- 41:00Speaker 2: have been, Ashley.
