Thy Light is Come
Zacharias proclaimed that Christ’s coming meant salvation with power, victory without fear, and light breaking into darkness (Luke 1:67–79). Christmas was not sentiment it was the dawn of a new world. The “dayspring from on high” announced that the King had come, bringing peace and a fearless life in Him.
Though darkness surrounds us, it has not overcome the light (John 1:5). The light of Christ still shines, undimmed and triumphant. Isaiah’s call remains: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come” (Isa. 60:1).
The only question is are we people of the light?
