- 0:39Speaker 4: Thank you so much. I mean, you said it, not me.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You have to put that quote in your Instagram Bioeh
- 0:46Speaker 2: I am.
- 0:46Speaker 5: I'm actually going to change it as soon as we leave.
- 0:48Speaker 5: That's exactly what I'm putting in. I'm going to put
- 0:49Speaker 5: two breachics on. Thank you so much.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Guys.
- 0:52Speaker 3: You're a university lecturer, Yes I am.
- 0:54Speaker 4: I've been there for like oh two years now, and it's.
- 0:57Speaker 5: Just been such a crazy ride. Like I I'm not
- 1:00Speaker 5: qualified for teaching at all, Like I got like literally
- 1:03Speaker 5: at all. I got hired as industry and it's just
- 1:06Speaker 5: been the craziest learning on the job experience.
- 1:08Speaker 4: But I'm so grateful for it.
- 1:10Speaker 5: My students are the best, and they're all like at
- 1:13Speaker 5: most like six years younger than me, So it's just
- 1:15Speaker 5: so nice I think for them as well, to have
- 1:17Speaker 5: somebody they can connect to that I says what we're
- 1:19Speaker 5: talking about, like, so yeah, it's just been so surreal
- 1:23Speaker 5: but very overwhelming.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, I wish I had someone as called
- 1:25Speaker 6: as you teaching me when I was in Uni.
- 1:27Speaker 3: I know too.
- 1:30Speaker 4: Thank god they're getting on it now.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And you also worked at Vogue too, right I did.
- 1:34Speaker 4: I worked at Vogue for I think a year and
- 1:37Speaker 4: a bit.
- 1:38Speaker 5: That was like my first moment where I was like,
- 1:40Speaker 5: oh shit, I've made it, like this is it And
- 1:42Speaker 5: it was again the craziest thing ever. I just kind
- 1:45Speaker 5: of like my friend basically messaged me and was like, hey,
- 1:48Speaker 5: you've applied for this job, right, like you'd be perfect
- 1:50Speaker 5: for it, And I was like, I had no idea
- 1:53Speaker 5: this was running. It was twenty minutes before the applications closed,
- 1:56Speaker 5: and I had to sit in my room and like
- 1:58Speaker 5: manically like put something together.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Basically just went like, hey, it.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Was a video presentation, so hey, like I saw this
- 2:06Speaker 5: twenty minutes before it closed. Here's my social media because
- 2:08Speaker 5: I'd been making videos for myself, like not as like
- 2:10Speaker 5: a job, but just like for fun. Yeah, like, hey,
- 2:12Speaker 5: this is what I can do, Like if you're interested,
- 2:15Speaker 5: contact me. They called me the next morning and I
- 2:17Speaker 5: went through all the rounds and it was so scary,
- 2:19Speaker 5: and I was like, you know what, no matter what,
- 2:20Speaker 5: this has been an amazing experience, even just to be considered.
- 2:22Speaker 4: For this and for Vogue, you know what.
- 2:25Speaker 5: I mean, like something that I never thought i'd be
- 2:27Speaker 5: able to do. And you know, I still have like
- 2:29Speaker 5: so much love and respect for the people that I
- 2:31Speaker 5: got to do so many amazing things. But I was
- 2:32Speaker 5: like interviewing people doing jobs for like fucking card Yeah
- 2:36Speaker 5: you know what I mean, Like it was just so insane.
- 2:38Speaker 5: And also they gave me full creative controls. So when
- 2:42Speaker 5: I went in that I am such a Capricorn rising,
- 2:44Speaker 5: like I'm.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Such a boss.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I was like, hey, if I'm going to come in
- 2:47Speaker 5: and do this like Vogue Australia, you know sometimes caters
- 2:51Speaker 5: a little bit older, So I was like, I want
- 2:52Speaker 5: to do something for young people. If you're going on TikTok,
- 2:55Speaker 5: if you're going on all these things, I want to
- 2:56Speaker 5: make this for young people and for them to just
- 2:58Speaker 5: go yep, go for we trust you was just again
- 3:01Speaker 5: the most surreal thing ever.
- 3:03Speaker 4: But yeah, I had the best time there.
- 3:04Speaker 5: It was amazing and like I wouldn't be where I
- 3:06Speaker 5: am now without them, and I'm so grateful for that.
- 3:09Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Did you feel like you were literally that like scene
- 3:12Speaker 6: in like a two thousands journal list rom com And
- 3:15Speaker 6: like suddenly I see is like playing in the background,
- 3:18Speaker 6: like trotting with a coffee and that, and like this
- 3:23Speaker 6: is my casual outfit. So I was showing up in
- 3:25Speaker 6: like my fancier versions of this every day because I'd
- 3:27Speaker 6: only go in like one or two days a week.
- 3:28Speaker 6: So every time I would show up and I would
- 3:29Speaker 6: be doing them most and I was like, I'm living
- 3:31Speaker 6: the fantasy guy, Like I'm winning so far. How cool
- 3:35Speaker 6: is it when you have those moments and you're like,
- 3:37Speaker 6: fuck my, like eight year old self would be peeing
- 3:40Speaker 6: their pants right now, like when they.
- 3:41Speaker 2: See your life and you're like yes.
- 3:43Speaker 3: So we love to start our episodes with our guests
- 3:46Speaker 3: with a life lesson the week, So would you like
- 3:48Speaker 3: to kick us off?
- 3:49Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 3:50Speaker 5: Sure, I think from everything that I've learned this week,
- 3:54Speaker 5: we should be allowing ourselves to rot and not feel
- 3:57Speaker 5: bad about it. I was just saying to you guys
- 4:00Speaker 5: that yesterday my girlfriend and I totally just like rot
- 4:02Speaker 5: it in bed and like did nothing and it was awesome.
- 4:04Speaker 5: I mean, she worked, but like I just played video games,
- 4:06Speaker 5: and I was like, I can't let myself feel bad
- 4:09Speaker 5: about this. Like I had so many things that I
- 4:10Speaker 5: had to do, and I was like, you know what,
- 4:12Speaker 5: my body just needs this and I need to let
- 4:15Speaker 5: myself not feel bad to sit in bed and play.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Video games all day because my body needs it.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Because I feel like, especially when we're doing something like
- 4:22Speaker 5: this where it like relies on us as people so
- 4:25Speaker 5: much in our own consistency and work ethic and all
- 4:27Speaker 5: of that, you're just pushing yourself so hard all the time.
- 4:30Speaker 5: And I feel like everybody is, but like good example,
- 4:34Speaker 5: so to just like sit when I sit down, I'm like,
- 4:36Speaker 5: I have seventy five things to do, and I feel
- 4:38Speaker 5: so bad that I'm sitting down for like twenty minutes
- 4:39Speaker 5: to like chill. So I think, just yeah, allowing yourself
- 4:42Speaker 5: to rot is very important.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Absolutely, and especially at the start of the year as well,
- 4:46Speaker 3: when all of us are like, No, now's the time
- 4:48Speaker 3: to like grind, hear all our goals blah blah. That's great,
- 4:51Speaker 3: But if your body's and mind is telling you, I
- 4:54Speaker 3: need to write, lean into it, because if you're in
- 4:56Speaker 3: half rot mode, it doesn't count. You may be working.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to if you feel bad about rotting.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, you know love that.
- 5:04Speaker 2: What's your life lesson?
- 5:05Speaker 4: Sally Belly?
- 5:05Speaker 3: Okay, my life lesson is kind of in the fashion
- 5:09Speaker 3: and styling, but it's a bit more of an earnest one,
- 5:16Speaker 3: and it's that your arms aren't ruining your outfit.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't even think I need to elaborate, but
- 5:23Speaker 3: that's just a reminder to everybody. You don't have to
- 5:25Speaker 3: look a certain way to wear anything that you like.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Please wear your arms out if you want to, Please
- 5:31Speaker 3: wear your legs out if you want to. What's yours?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Mine is No.
- 5:36Speaker 6: I wasn't gonna say this one, but I actually feel
- 5:38Speaker 6: really safe. So I've actually already told all about this.
- 5:42Speaker 6: But I watched a TikTok at and I fell for
- 5:46Speaker 6: it and it's not bad.
- 5:47Speaker 2: It's not a bad thing.
- 5:48Speaker 6: But anyway, I'm like trying to curb my like soft
- 5:53Speaker 6: drink addiction, and I saw these like probiotic soda drinks
- 5:59Speaker 6: come up and I was like, these looks so young.
- 6:01Speaker 6: It was like pink lemonade, lemon lime, and I was like, yum.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I had one and it was so young. I loved it.
- 6:08Speaker 4: It was great.
- 6:09Speaker 6: For the next twenty four to forty eight hours, I
- 6:11Speaker 6: have never shit so much in my.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Entire life, like what is happening?
- 6:19Speaker 6: Like it was crazy that I was like, when does
- 6:23Speaker 6: the probiotic stop probiotic ing?
- 6:25Speaker 2: Like is it just resetting?
- 6:27Speaker 6: I bought three cans and I've been too scared to
- 6:30Speaker 6: have any more because I don't know if I don't
- 6:33Speaker 6: know if it was that.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I don't know if it was.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Something at eight.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Yeah, but I'm just I'm I'll check back in next week.
- 6:40Speaker 6: I'll let everyone know how that goes. Everyone's like, please
- 6:42Speaker 6: don't Well.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Now that we all know each other inside and out
- 6:45Speaker 3: quite literally, let's get into the episode. So, Jollie, we
- 6:56Speaker 3: want to start with a very important question. What are
- 6:59Speaker 3: the fashion trends we're going to see in twenty twenty five?
- 7:03Speaker 5: Okay, I think there are two big ones that at
- 7:06Speaker 5: least I'm sort of thinking are going to come up
- 7:08Speaker 5: the first one. I'm going to explain this terribly, but
- 7:10Speaker 5: just like trust me here, there's this like Mermaid nautical
- 7:16Speaker 5: c person kind of vibe happening right now, and I
- 7:21Speaker 5: think like sequence is a big part of that. We've
- 7:23Speaker 5: been seeing sequence quite a lot. I don't think they're
- 7:25Speaker 5: going to go anywhere. A lot of stripes are going
- 7:27Speaker 5: to be in this year, again leading into that nautical theme.
- 7:29Speaker 5: And then also I think a really good example of
- 7:32Speaker 5: what I'm talking about is the meumu SS twenty five runway.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I think it was where they had these like incredible
- 7:39Speaker 5: like one piece swimsuits, which I've been waiting to come
- 7:41Speaker 5: back since I was like ten years old, by the way,
- 7:43Speaker 5: like really like cool ones with the cutouts and all
- 7:45Speaker 5: of that, and like little tiny swim shorts with like
- 7:49Speaker 5: polos and stuff like that. I think that's a really
- 7:52Speaker 5: good example of kind of what I think we're going
- 7:55Speaker 5: to be seeing this year. I think for the last
- 7:56Speaker 5: few years it's been like what Meumi does then trickles
- 8:00Speaker 5: down into everything else.
- 8:02Speaker 4: I think ever since they brought out that collection with
- 8:03Speaker 4: like little pleated skirts.
- 8:04Speaker 5: And stuff like that, it's, yeah, ever since then, it's
- 8:07Speaker 5: just been what do they do? We're taking it, So
- 8:09Speaker 5: I think that's definitely going to be here. I also think,
- 8:11Speaker 5: and I'm really excited for this one because I wasn't
- 8:14Speaker 5: allowed to participate in this, Thank you Mum. The Boho
- 8:19Speaker 5: twenty fourteen like Coachella era vibe, it's definitely coming back.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Swede is everywhere, yeah, which I don't know if this
- 8:25Speaker 5: is also coming up on your for you pages, but
- 8:28Speaker 5: everybody's wearing the Isabelle Morant sneaker wedges again. Yeah, And
- 8:31Speaker 5: I just feel like that's the start of the boho
- 8:36Speaker 5: trend coming back in, if you know what I mean.
- 8:38Speaker 4: I feel like that's definitely it.
- 8:39Speaker 5: I think there's gonna be a lot of micro trends
- 8:41Speaker 5: in between, but I think everything's going to kind of
- 8:43Speaker 5: fall from those trickle down from that. I also think yellow,
- 8:46Speaker 5: like butter yellow again, We've been seeing it a bit,
- 8:49Speaker 5: but I think that it's definitely going to have its
- 8:50Speaker 5: moment this year, which I'm really excited for. I love
- 8:52Speaker 5: Buddy yellow, and I think it's so like it works
- 8:54Speaker 5: with every season, it works in every outfit, wherever you
- 8:56Speaker 5: put it, it just works.
- 8:58Speaker 3: So I think that, But what do you guys, say,
- 9:00Speaker 3: I've seen a lot of the boho but also the
- 9:04Speaker 3: boho biker, which I'm like, this is perfect because that
- 9:08Speaker 3: is literally my wardrobe. And what I love about that
- 9:11Speaker 3: trend not only is that it really leans into like
- 9:14Speaker 3: the Mary, Kate and Ashley of it all, which they're
- 9:16Speaker 3: always like my north star with anything fashion. But you
- 9:20Speaker 3: can thrift so much of that, yeah, which is what
- 9:23Speaker 3: I hope people do because that's also where you're going
- 9:25Speaker 3: to get the better quality things at a better price point.
- 9:28Speaker 3: So that's what I'm hoping to see, and I'll be
- 9:30Speaker 3: leaning into whether it's trending or not.
- 9:32Speaker 6: I think we're also going to see a lot more
- 9:35Speaker 6: of like vintage graphic teas. That is like one question
- 9:41Speaker 6: that I think I've been getting so much people being like, oh,
- 9:44Speaker 6: where's that tea from?
- 9:44Speaker 2: Where's it?
- 9:45Speaker 6: And I'm like, it's vintage Dad's tea from like the eighties.
- 9:49Speaker 2: He got rid off and he will probably forever.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Regret, Like they're just they're the best teas in the
- 9:54Speaker 6: world because they're always so like thin and baggy and
- 9:57Speaker 6: like flowy and just.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Perfect that I think that's the thing we're going to see.
- 10:01Speaker 6: But the thing with Swede as well that that is
- 10:04Speaker 6: so easy to thrif, Like, go on Deep Hop search
- 10:07Speaker 6: men's Swede jacket and there's so many.
- 10:10Speaker 2: They're like thirty bucks.
- 10:12Speaker 4: It's perfect. I love it. There's also so much Swede
- 10:14Speaker 4: at markets.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Yeah, Like whenever you go to any market, at least
- 10:17Speaker 5: in Sydney, there's always so much swayen and I feel
- 10:20Speaker 5: like everybody just kind of looks past it, and I'm like,
- 10:22Speaker 5: Swede is also such an investment for the rest of
- 10:24Speaker 5: your life. I feel like, yes, Swede, with what we're doing,
- 10:26Speaker 5: is going to be a big trend.
- 10:27Speaker 4: But Swede never goes away.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Yeah, Like Swede and leather will always be in fashion,
- 10:32Speaker 3: and they're also very durable materials as well, so it
- 10:35Speaker 3: is something that you can keep in your wardrobe and
- 10:37Speaker 3: if you take care of it, it will last you decades.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Okay, what about the sneaker of the Year, Because I
- 10:42Speaker 6: feel like sneakers have become this huge space, which they
- 10:47Speaker 6: always have been, but especially with like the added ass
- 10:52Speaker 6: sambas and spazules having like the takeoff of the century.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Is there a new sneaker to look out for this year?
- 11:00Speaker 4: I think so.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Now I'm going to say this, and it's going to
- 11:03Speaker 5: upset people, myself included. I think Sambas and Gazelles in
- 11:07Speaker 5: terms of trend have had their time.
- 11:08Speaker 4: Now.
- 11:09Speaker 5: I'm still going to wear my Gazell's every single day
- 11:11Speaker 5: to everything. Okay, keep that, like, don't throw out your
- 11:14Speaker 5: shoes just because it's trendy, Like wear them. But I
- 11:17Speaker 5: do think that they're not going to be as trendy.
- 11:19Speaker 5: We're not going to be seeing them as much. I
- 11:22Speaker 5: think that for people that still want that sleek look,
- 11:24Speaker 5: I think that the Onyx Super Tigers still having their moment.
- 11:28Speaker 5: I still feel like they haven't reached their peak just yet.
- 11:31Speaker 5: I think they we're going to be seeing a lot
- 11:32Speaker 5: more of those, especially with everybody going to Japan this year.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Why is everyone going to Japan?
- 11:37Speaker 3: I think there was some good flight Cells is the
- 11:40Speaker 3: fucking best and also the best four thrifting. Yeah, especially
- 11:44Speaker 3: graphic T shirts. Should we all wants after?
- 11:47Speaker 4: Yeah, let's go. I'm down, Okay, so we're all going
- 11:49Speaker 4: to Japan.
- 11:50Speaker 3: That's great.
- 11:51Speaker 5: On the other end of the spectrum though, for sneakers,
- 11:53Speaker 5: I think that Nike shocks and I think they're Airmax
- 11:57Speaker 5: ninety five the more kind of like bullet looking one
- 12:00Speaker 5: I think we're going to see them a lot this year,
- 12:01Speaker 5: something a little bit bigger, a bit chunky. I've already
- 12:03Speaker 5: started to see them a little bit. And I love
- 12:05Speaker 5: a night shock, you know what I mean, another like shock,
- 12:07Speaker 5: I love a t N. I'm a bit of an
- 12:08Speaker 5: Eshae at heart. But yeah, I think they're definitely gonna
- 12:11Speaker 5: have their moment. And I don't know if this counts
- 12:13Speaker 5: as a sneaker, but I've been seeing this trickle in
- 12:15Speaker 5: a little bit. I think the micro trend shoe for
- 12:18Speaker 5: twenty twenty five is going to be those Have you
- 12:21Speaker 5: guys seen those Vibrum five finger shoes? So they're like
- 12:26Speaker 5: they're like basically just like they're almost like a water shoe,
- 12:29Speaker 5: but they liked they literally have like the five like
- 12:34Speaker 5: like a to sock, but it's a shoe.
- 12:35Speaker 4: I've been seeing them, Okay, I was like, I don't know.
- 12:38Speaker 4: I saw a few of my.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Like really fashionable friends wearing them, and I was like,
- 12:41Speaker 5: they look like I want to wear them to Clovelly
- 12:43Speaker 5: Beach because I'm scared of the like water, like I
- 12:45Speaker 5: wouldn't wear them out and about. But then I saw
- 12:48Speaker 5: that model, Paloma Elcesa. She wore them as like a
- 12:51Speaker 5: little ballet flat.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Yeah you need to. Yeah, And I'm like, this is
- 12:55Speaker 4: gonna happen. I think they are gonna.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Because it's kind of like the evolution of the tabby
- 12:59Speaker 3: of Yeah, two completely different shoes, but in terms of
- 13:02Speaker 3: the toecitrated.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I think with sneakers especially, the best thing you
- 13:09Speaker 6: can do is just have a look at every brand,
- 13:12Speaker 6: even like the smaller ones like a Lowhas which are
- 13:14Speaker 6: more known for boots, They've got really cool sneakers, and
- 13:18Speaker 6: try and find one that maybe isn't trending, and so
- 13:21Speaker 6: that's the one that you genuinely like because I think
- 13:24Speaker 6: exactly what you're saying, Like, you know, Sambas and Gazelle's
- 13:27Speaker 6: had this massive boom, and then it's that thing of
- 13:31Speaker 6: being like when a trend is such a big boom,
- 13:33Speaker 6: it becomes so signature to a time in space, you
- 13:37Speaker 6: know what I mean, especially though, Yeah, so it's not
- 13:40Speaker 6: associated with a decade.
- 13:41Speaker 3: It's associated with a few months or yeah, even weeks
- 13:45Speaker 3: in a year. It's very different, I would say, in
- 13:47Speaker 3: the last even five years in comparison to previous times. Yeah,
- 13:51Speaker 3: you briefly touched on this when you were talking about
- 13:54Speaker 3: Mewmeir and how they really influence sort of the trends
- 13:57Speaker 3: that we do see. But what's the difference between a
- 14:00Speaker 3: trend and a micro trend?
- 14:02Speaker 4: Okay, I this is what I think.
- 14:05Speaker 5: This is not the like dictionary definition, but I'm just
- 14:07Speaker 5: gonna run with it here. So for me, a trend
- 14:10Speaker 5: is something like sagegreen. Okay, it takes sage green for
- 14:14Speaker 5: an example. We saw it for quite a few years.
- 14:17Speaker 5: We saw it not only in fashion, we saw it
- 14:19Speaker 5: in you know, interior design and in so many other
- 14:22Speaker 5: places in a lot of art. Sage green was really everywhere,
- 14:24Speaker 5: like you know that specific tone, like you know how
- 14:26Speaker 5: there's like millennial pink. I feel like it's gonna be
- 14:28Speaker 5: like gen Z sagegreen, Like it's that kind of thing.
- 14:30Speaker 5: And it was around for so long. And I think
- 14:32Speaker 5: that in itself is a trend because everybody also can
- 14:36Speaker 5: get involved in that in whatever way they wish, And
- 14:37Speaker 5: it stayed around for a really long period. I mean
- 14:39Speaker 5: it's still around, you know what I mean, Like I'm
- 14:40Speaker 5: talking about like this, but it's not. But I think
- 14:43Speaker 5: that a micro trend is something that stays to one
- 14:47Speaker 5: sort of niche, whether that be as big a niche
- 14:50Speaker 5: as like fashion general or something more specific like TikTok
- 14:55Speaker 5: fashion or the Galllie Pops or like whatever it may be.
- 14:57Speaker 5: So an example sticking with the green theme would be like,
- 15:01Speaker 5: do you guys remember that House of Sunny dress? It
- 15:03Speaker 5: was like green and fluffy and like Kendall Jenna Warri. Yes,
- 15:06Speaker 5: that was everywhere for like four months and then it
- 15:09Speaker 5: was in every single op shop everywhere. Same with that
- 15:13Speaker 5: Amazon corset that's been going that went around last year.
- 15:15Speaker 5: You know, it's a green one. It's got like this
- 15:17Speaker 5: like yellow trim around it. Yeah, that was like three
- 15:20Speaker 5: weeks where everybody was wearing that and then it just
- 15:22Speaker 5: completely disappeared. And again I just see it every time
- 15:24Speaker 5: I go op shopping. I see at least one. I
- 15:26Speaker 5: think that's more of my co trend is like something
- 15:28Speaker 5: that's very short, like the Amazon Courset's not in interior
- 15:31Speaker 5: design or in art or whatever it is, you know
- 15:33Speaker 5: what I mean. Like, Yeah, it's something that's very specific
- 15:35Speaker 5: to an audience. And again like specific to an audience
- 15:38Speaker 5: in sterense of like I'm gonna My sister is my
- 15:40Speaker 5: best friend and I love her, but we are very
- 15:43Speaker 5: different styles and my sister and I will hang out
- 15:45Speaker 5: with each other and she'd be like, oh my god,
- 15:46Speaker 5: did you see this dress? And I'd be like, no,
- 15:48Speaker 5: did you see these shoes? And we're just like, oh
- 15:49Speaker 5: my god, they're so trending. How have you not heard
- 15:51Speaker 5: about this? It's because we're in different spheres, you know
- 15:53Speaker 5: what I mean.
- 15:54Speaker 3: It's like what side of TikTok are you on? Yeah,
- 15:56Speaker 3: it's essentially to that level of nationness. It's like cultures
- 16:00Speaker 3: down to a product.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Yeah, one hundred percent, I think as well.
- 16:04Speaker 6: Another example we were talking about was like how micro
- 16:08Speaker 6: shorts and micro skirts are like a trend, but then
- 16:11Speaker 6: within that and under that there's like the ruffle shorts.
- 16:14Speaker 6: How like that's probably more of a micro trend. Yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 6: it's so specific.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Well that immediately will be like BTV twenty four twenty five,
- 16:24Speaker 3: like that's exactly where my head goes now, whereas micro
- 16:27Speaker 3: minis or micro shorts that sort of like the last
- 16:30Speaker 3: two years. Yeah, a few different iterations, but that particular
- 16:34Speaker 3: item is like that festival this New year, and that's
- 16:37Speaker 3: where it lives. Though.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Oh I love them. They look you.
- 16:41Speaker 3: I was saying a few months ago that it was
- 16:42Speaker 3: like one of my favorite trends I was excited to see.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I think there is horrible Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 5: But no, I agree micro micro shorts and micro minis
- 16:49Speaker 5: and stuff like that have definitely been a trend. But yeah,
- 16:51Speaker 5: those tiny little things or like the specifically, and I
- 16:54Speaker 5: don't want to say this as a micro tranks, I
- 16:55Speaker 5: love her so.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Much, but the hierarch striped shorts. I don't know if
- 16:58Speaker 4: you guys do this.
- 16:59Speaker 5: I see it every for I go to no They're
- 17:01Speaker 5: like they're just like these plain little stripe shorts, and
- 17:04Speaker 5: like I wear.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Them all the time.
- 17:04Speaker 5: I'm saying that they're gonna be but I think that
- 17:06Speaker 5: they're another sort of iteration of the micro shorts trend.
- 17:10Speaker 5: Like I think, like you said, when you jump into it,
- 17:11Speaker 5: there's so many different things to move around with.
- 17:13Speaker 6: So I'm curious, though, what micro trends are you unsubscribing
- 17:17Speaker 6: from in twenty twenty five?
- 17:20Speaker 4: This is hard less.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Oh I'm gonna get canceled, okay, I personally. One that
- 17:26Speaker 5: I am not going to get involved in is I've
- 17:30Speaker 5: been seeing a lot of people wearing polo shirts recently.
- 17:32Speaker 5: And yes, polo shirts like a classic and whatever, but
- 17:35Speaker 5: I think that the way that people are wearing, like again,
- 17:38Speaker 5: this mew meuesque, very tight fitted with like the stripes
- 17:41Speaker 5: along and all that sort of stuff, is just not
- 17:42Speaker 5: saying I can do it all. There's that lioness one
- 17:44Speaker 5: that I feel like everybody's been wearing. I think that's
- 17:46Speaker 5: a micro trend that I'm personally.
- 17:47Speaker 2: It's like the baby tea. It's like a Polo baby tea.
- 17:49Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and it's got all the stripes on it.
- 17:52Speaker 5: But I also think that something that I'm learning to
- 17:54Speaker 5: unsubscribe from is I feel like we have this idea
- 18:00Speaker 5: micro trends are the devil, right, And yeah, sure there's
- 18:03Speaker 5: a lot of negative things to them, but if you
- 18:06Speaker 5: want to jump on a micro trend that you think
- 18:08Speaker 5: works for you, don't feel like, oh it's.
- 18:10Speaker 4: A micro trend, I can't do it. Okay.
- 18:11Speaker 5: The skut that I'm wearing, for example, it's like chopped
- 18:14Speaker 5: up plaids. It's like mismatched, it's whatever. And like when
- 18:18Speaker 5: I bought this, yeah, probably was a micro trend, you
- 18:20Speaker 5: know what I mean. But that was like three years
- 18:21Speaker 5: ago and I still wear this to death. And if
- 18:23Speaker 5: I hadn't jumped on that trend, my style wouldn't be
- 18:25Speaker 5: where it is now because this is like my most
- 18:27Speaker 5: worn piece in my wardrobe. So I think unsubscribing from
- 18:31Speaker 5: micro trends is the devil is devil is the thing
- 18:33Speaker 5: that I'm unscribing.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Them, Like, if you like it, wear it, Yeah, how
- 18:37Speaker 2: do you know?
- 18:38Speaker 6: Like how do you know if you like something because
- 18:40Speaker 6: you genuinely like it or if the marketing is marketing?
- 18:44Speaker 5: I think that Okay, So I literally like I teach marketing,
- 18:48Speaker 5: so like it's not like I feel like I'm very
- 18:50Speaker 5: attuned to it. But if you all of a sudden
- 18:53Speaker 5: see every single influencer with a Louis Vuitton never fall back,
- 18:58Speaker 5: that's marketing.
- 18:58Speaker 4: Diva, Like that's not, that's not.
- 19:02Speaker 3: That's not.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Oh I think that I like and you know what,
- 19:04Speaker 4: I never feels great. It's great bag.
- 19:06Speaker 5: But I'm saying they pushed it in marketing to make
- 19:08Speaker 5: you think that you really needed it because other people hadn't.
- 19:11Speaker 5: What I do personally is I try sit on things
- 19:14Speaker 5: for as long as I can, even if it's a microtrender.
- 19:16Speaker 5: If it's not, it takes me like two to three
- 19:19Speaker 5: months to buy something, even if I'm like it's a
- 19:21Speaker 5: microtrone whatever. If I still want it that time later,
- 19:24Speaker 5: I go for it. But really, sitting on it really
- 19:27Speaker 5: helps because the marketing could be great. You could still
- 19:29Speaker 5: love it, you know what I mean, Like so many
- 19:30Speaker 5: people love their never full bags.
- 19:31Speaker 4: But yeah, I think just sitting.
- 19:33Speaker 5: On it and thinking about it is probably the best thing,
- 19:36Speaker 5: because again, microtrends sometimes after you sometimes.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I agree, I think also imagining how it will work
- 19:42Speaker 3: with your existing wardrobe. Yeah, so what would I actually
- 19:45Speaker 3: pair this with? Because I think that can help you realize,
- 19:47Speaker 3: oh no, this actually is in life with my astatic
- 19:49Speaker 3: and what I like in the silhouettes that I typically enjoy.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Whereas if you're like, but I'd actually have to buy
- 19:55Speaker 3: this top and then these shoes to make this outfit work,
- 19:57Speaker 3: then maybe it.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Isn't for you. A hundred p clearly agree.
- 20:00Speaker 3: What are the cool girl brands and creators that we
- 20:04Speaker 3: should be following and paying attention to in twenty twenty five?
- 20:08Speaker 5: Okay, I want to try stick Ozzie here, and I'm
- 20:11Speaker 5: gonna start off by shamelessly plugging my mum's jewelry brand,
- 20:17Speaker 5: So all the jury that I'm wearing is actually from
- 20:19Speaker 5: my mum's brand. I designed with her sometimes and we've
- 20:21Speaker 5: been doing it for a while, but I think my
- 20:23Speaker 5: mum has been doing markets for a really long time,
- 20:26Speaker 5: and now she's really trying to push into online and
- 20:29Speaker 5: she's like trying in best but I'm trying to help
- 20:30Speaker 5: her out wherever I can. But it's Kaz Mexico, Oka
- 20:33Speaker 5: Zed Mexico. Her name's Kadz. The Jory's made in Mexico.
- 20:35Speaker 5: She's very creative in terms of other like looking at
- 20:38Speaker 5: like clothing and stuff like that. I think there's obviously
- 20:40Speaker 5: the big ones, like if you have been to Melbourne,
- 20:43Speaker 5: you've seen Carla Laidlaw before. She does incredible from tracksuits
- 20:48Speaker 5: to gorgeous gowns at the most recent fashion week, Like
- 20:50Speaker 5: she's doing incredible things, and also one of the nicest
- 20:53Speaker 5: people that I've ever met, Like she's super super nice.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Every time I see her, she's like, oh my god,
- 20:56Speaker 5: I'm like, I can't believe you know me. And in
- 20:59Speaker 5: the same sort of vein Mode Mischief. It's been her
- 21:02Speaker 5: year for the last few years Mode Mischief Studios. But
- 21:04Speaker 5: I think that she's just going to continue to skyrocket.
- 21:07Speaker 5: She's also a very good friend of mine, one of
- 21:09Speaker 5: the nicest people in the whole entire world. She deserves
- 21:10Speaker 5: all the success that she's having. But again, you've definitely
- 21:13Speaker 5: seen at least one of her pieces. Hey, viblewars them
- 21:15Speaker 5: all the time, Like, it's amazing. Two brands that I
- 21:18Speaker 5: really have my eye on this year that are like
- 21:20Speaker 5: literally have just released their first groups of products is
- 21:24Speaker 5: Neve Robin Jury. I recently picked some stuff up from her.
- 21:27Speaker 5: It's her first collection. It's a lot of plaids and
- 21:30Speaker 5: mismatched and like spots and all these things, and it's
- 21:32Speaker 5: just like so beautiful how she puts all of these
- 21:35Speaker 5: things together, and it's just amazing.
- 21:36Speaker 4: She's coming out of Perth. I think she's just finished
- 21:38Speaker 4: design school.
- 21:38Speaker 6: Like she's amazing persons, some fucking incredible designers. Yeah, amazing
- 21:44Speaker 6: the amount of times I find like a small brand
- 21:46Speaker 6: that I'm like obsessed, they're always from Perth.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree, But yeah, she's amazed by Ellen with
- 21:52Speaker 5: Love Yeah, is also out of Perth.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Love her to death. Also, I got these shoes recently.
- 21:57Speaker 5: They're posted them on TikTok and they really like separated everyone.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Because we're sticking with the toe thing here.
- 22:04Speaker 5: Apologies, I keep bringing up feet feet actually scam me,
- 22:07Speaker 5: but whatever, I am.
- 22:10Speaker 4: I'm being really brave.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Guys.
- 22:11Speaker 5: It's this brand called Curtsy Toes and they make these
- 22:14Speaker 5: incredible heels that are like thongs, but for each individual it's.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, yeah, like I need a visual.
- 22:23Speaker 5: They're amazing and yeah, they do really really cool stuff
- 22:26Speaker 5: and this is the their first launch at least that
- 22:28Speaker 5: I can see is these shoes that I just got.
- 22:31Speaker 3: And they're really cool.
- 22:32Speaker 4: They're really cool. They're really really.
- 22:34Speaker 5: Cool, They're funky, and they're actually really comfy. Like I
- 22:37Speaker 5: think that they did it with like foot care in
- 22:39Speaker 5: mind or something like that. I'm not too sure in
- 22:41Speaker 5: terms of people that I think that we should watch.
- 22:42Speaker 5: There's so many people that I could say, but the
- 22:44Speaker 5: one that I have been looking at a lot, Am
- 22:46Speaker 5: from Love Island is really I love Okay. I mean
- 22:51Speaker 5: this no tin, no shade and all the respect in
- 22:53Speaker 5: the world, but majority of people that come out of
- 22:55Speaker 5: Love Island end up being fast fashioned divas and like,
- 22:57Speaker 5: get your bag.
- 22:58Speaker 4: I respect your hustle. But am like.
- 23:00Speaker 5: She works at So Familiar, which is one of the
- 23:01Speaker 5: coolest vintage stores in the city. She has incredible vintage taste.
- 23:05Speaker 5: She's working at like incredible small brands she did a
- 23:07Speaker 5: shoot with another brand that I love, jem Daddy Slim
- 23:10Speaker 5: the other day, and I just think, I'm so excited
- 23:12Speaker 5: to see what she does with this platform that she's got,
- 23:14Speaker 5: because she's just doing really sick things. So yeah, I'm
- 23:17Speaker 5: really excited to see her as well. I think we
- 23:18Speaker 5: should keep her our eyes on her this year.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I love cool girl, Yeah, who are your cool girls?
- 23:24Speaker 6: Like?
- 23:24Speaker 4: Who do you guys think you? And I'm never gonna
- 23:31Speaker 4: come in.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Also, Zee's mom, Yeah, I love.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Her calm and if you're watching this, I love you.
- 23:38Speaker 2: There's also a creator.
- 23:40Speaker 6: I think her name is Jane, I'll need to link
- 23:42Speaker 6: it in the description. And she's the epitome of like
- 23:45Speaker 6: the modern day Daisy Jones and love Stevie Nicks. Like
- 23:51Speaker 6: her whole thing is like she layers like flowy dresses
- 23:53Speaker 6: with like band teas, like boots, like it's like really
- 23:57Speaker 6: feminine rock.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And I every time I'm like what do I wear?
- 24:02Speaker 6: I like just go to her page and just like
- 24:03Speaker 6: watch her videos and she's got like the most amazing bangs.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I'm like, alex not, we said.
- 24:10Speaker 6: No bangs this year, and I'm like, but they look good,
- 24:12Speaker 6: and I'm like, no, but yeah, she's hot and I
- 24:15Speaker 6: have the biggest crush on her.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Fair I want to throw out two more people that
- 24:18Speaker 5: I think deserve their flowers really quick, because I feel
- 24:20Speaker 5: like nobody's really.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Talking about them as much.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Firstly, there's this girl who you guys need to look up,
- 24:25Speaker 5: Candy Bratt on Instagram and on TikTok. She again, is
- 24:28Speaker 5: one of my good I'm so grateful to have incredible
- 24:30Speaker 5: creative people around me. She's one of my really good friends,
- 24:32Speaker 5: and I think she deserves her flowers. She's going to
- 24:34Speaker 5: the shops in John Galiano, you know what I mean.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Like she is cool.
- 24:38Speaker 5: She is the epitome of like, I don't care what
- 24:40Speaker 5: anyone thinks and I'm just gonna wear what I want
- 24:41Speaker 5: and it's gonna look good. And I am obsessed with that.
- 24:44Speaker 5: And also she's a makeup girl. But I think she
- 24:46Speaker 5: deserves her fashion flowers. I get another one of my friends, Rowi, saying, oh, yeah, incredible.
- 24:51Speaker 5: If I could have one person's wardrobe, it would be Rowi's.
- 24:54Speaker 5: She is obviously so ethereally beautiful and does the most
- 24:57Speaker 5: amazing makeup, but her fashion taste is also able.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, like she never.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Misses never one.
- 25:03Speaker 5: It's so annoying because every time every time I see her,
- 25:05Speaker 5: I'm like, my outfits so cute, and then she shows
- 25:07Speaker 5: up and.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I'm like, you bitch, you were so good.
- 25:10Speaker 4: But yes, those are the people I think we should
- 25:12Speaker 4: look for. I'm obsessed with them. But you need to
- 25:14Speaker 4: send me these people. Yes, yeah, Atar group, please love it?
- 25:18Speaker 4: Every time we.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Exactly I love it. What is your number one tip?
- 25:24Speaker 6: Though, I'm finding your personal style, because I think this
- 25:26Speaker 6: is one of the hardest things to do, especially when
- 25:30Speaker 6: there is so much out there of being like this
- 25:32Speaker 6: is cool and and you're like, I don't even know
- 25:34Speaker 6: where I sit. So what would your recommendation be for
- 25:37Speaker 6: people that feel like that?
- 25:39Speaker 5: I think I my biggest thing right, And I'm going
- 25:43Speaker 5: to say two things here. Number one, I'm going to
- 25:44Speaker 5: say the thing that everybody tells you not to say,
- 25:46Speaker 5: which is go on Pinterest, go on Instagram, find.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Things you like, recreate them in your own way.
- 25:51Speaker 5: Don't necessarily copy someone like word for word out outfit,
- 25:54Speaker 5: but start taking inspiration from them. If this is like, Okay,
- 25:57Speaker 5: I'm just starying to jump off, I don't know where
- 25:59Speaker 5: to go, I think that's really really good way.
- 26:00Speaker 4: To do it.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Obviously, do it in a nice way and like make
- 26:03Speaker 5: it your own. But I think that's really good. But
- 26:05Speaker 5: also find inspiration from things that aren't fashion. So for example,
- 26:13Speaker 5: like I know one of my friends finds a lot
- 26:15Speaker 5: of inspiration from like flowers and like the colors in
- 26:18Speaker 5: them and the way they sit and stuff like that, and.
- 26:20Speaker 4: I think that's really cool.
- 26:21Speaker 5: I take a lot of inspiration from like sort of
- 26:25Speaker 5: like older like medieval. I'm a real nerd, so I
- 26:29Speaker 5: take a lot of inspiration from medieval areas and stuff
- 26:32Speaker 5: like that. Like my shirt has a gargoyle on it,
- 26:33Speaker 5: you know what I mean. Like, and I'm walking around
- 26:35Speaker 5: in my thank here and I'm walking around in my
- 26:40Speaker 5: wizard T shirt all the time, and like, but I'm
- 26:42Speaker 5: making it my own and I'm making it cool. And
- 26:44Speaker 5: I think find your interests that you love and work
- 26:47Speaker 5: them into what you wear. Also just try it, you
- 26:50Speaker 5: never know, borrow your friends stuff, see what you like
- 26:53Speaker 5: on yourself, and just hope for the best.
- 26:56Speaker 4: I think that so much of what.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I learned for fashion is trial and error and just
- 27:01Speaker 5: taking inspiration from really random places and being like that'd
- 27:03Speaker 5: be cool. And you know what, some of my outfits
- 27:05Speaker 5: are hideous that my archive on Instagram is huge. But yeah,
- 27:09Speaker 5: I think that would definitely be.
- 27:10Speaker 4: My main tip.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Do you have a formula for the perfect outfit?
- 27:15Speaker 5: No, I think more than having like a formula for
- 27:19Speaker 5: a perfect outfit, I think instead it's better to focus
- 27:22Speaker 5: on safe outfits.
- 27:25Speaker 4: So what like, for example, I was quite nervous to
- 27:28Speaker 4: come on the show.
- 27:29Speaker 5: So I wanted to wear something that was really safe
- 27:32Speaker 5: and was really comfortable to me. So for example, this
- 27:34Speaker 5: skirt that I brought up before, I wear it all
- 27:36Speaker 5: the time. It's really easy. My shoes are very comfortable
- 27:38Speaker 5: and something that I know goes well because I've worn
- 27:39Speaker 5: it all the time.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Same with this shirt. It's just comfortable. I feel like
- 27:42Speaker 4: myself in it.
- 27:43Speaker 5: And I think rather than working out the perfect outfit,
- 27:46Speaker 5: because I think the perfect outfit doesn't necessarily exist. Our
- 27:49Speaker 5: styles are ever changing and whatever growing. But working out
- 27:52Speaker 5: what's safe for you instead, I think is way more important.
- 27:55Speaker 4: So working out.
- 27:56Speaker 5: If I wear this outfit, I'm going to feel like myself.
- 28:01Speaker 5: I'm not going to feel uncomfortable. I'm going to feel
- 28:03Speaker 5: really good about myself. I feel like that's something that's
- 28:06Speaker 5: more important to focus on. Than the perfect outfit. Does
- 28:09Speaker 5: that make sense totally?
- 28:10Speaker 2: And you know what, I know what your perfect outfit is.
- 28:12Speaker 6: Ah, it's okay, okay, So it's a flip skirt with
- 28:16Speaker 6: a band tea allowed, the jacket and cowboy boots. Done.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Perfect, so comfy?
- 28:21Speaker 3: Ye, Yours would be mum jeans, also a band tea
- 28:27Speaker 3: and probably a denim jacket. Yeah, and cowboy.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Boots double dnim graphic tea per Cowboy roads. Yeah. Done.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I like that though, because I think that is a
- 28:34Speaker 3: formula in its own way, because comfort equals confidence. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 3: And that's so much part of owning your personal style
- 28:42Speaker 3: is being comfortable in the things you're wearing and in
- 28:45Speaker 3: your own skin.
- 28:45Speaker 2: So I love that.
- 28:46Speaker 6: I think that's actually the best way to go about it.
- 28:48Speaker 6: It's been like, yeah, the perfect outfit doesn't exist, it's
- 28:51Speaker 6: the perfect way you feel, what makes you feel good,
- 28:54Speaker 6: what makes.
- 28:55Speaker 4: You feel perfect. Because that's the thing.
- 28:57Speaker 5: I think that the perfect outfit is different for everybody
- 29:00Speaker 5: appear and say, oh my perfect outfit is this. Somebody's
- 29:02Speaker 5: listening to this, It's gonna be like, shut up. So
- 29:04Speaker 5: I think instead everybody has their safe outfit, which is
- 29:07Speaker 5: their perfect outfit for them.
- 29:08Speaker 6: How do you get out of the mindset of I
- 29:11Speaker 6: just can't pull that off. How do you start testing
- 29:15Speaker 6: and trialing like what you were saying before and having
- 29:18Speaker 6: fun with new pieces that are a little bit further
- 29:22Speaker 6: from your comfort zone. How do you have confidence in
- 29:24Speaker 6: trying new things?
- 29:26Speaker 5: So I was actually talking to my girlfriend about this
- 29:29Speaker 5: the other night, and we came up with two different
- 29:31Speaker 5: answers that I think both fit hit, but I think
- 29:33Speaker 5: hers is better.
- 29:33Speaker 4: So I'm gonna go with us.
- 29:34Speaker 5: First, love you, bab, and I think that this will
- 29:38Speaker 5: make this can sound really bitchy, but then it will
- 29:40Speaker 5: make sense. Maybe you can't pull it off. Okay, So no,
- 29:43Speaker 5: but what I mean by that is, Okay, I might
- 29:45Speaker 5: see someone walking down the street, okay, wearing this incredible
- 29:50Speaker 5: chuol dress that's got these amazing colors running through it,
- 29:53Speaker 5: and I see that and I'm like, oh my god,
- 29:56Speaker 5: I love that.
- 29:56Speaker 4: I could never pull that off. I could never wear that.
- 29:59Speaker 5: So instead of going I'm going to buy that outfit
- 30:01Speaker 5: that's going to make me feel really uncomfortable, to take
- 30:03Speaker 5: me out of my comfort zone and I'm not going
- 30:04Speaker 5: to feel confident in myself. What aspects of that do
- 30:07Speaker 5: I like? Do I like that it's a big shape.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Do I like the colors that are in it? Do
- 30:12Speaker 5: I like that it's tool? And want to give that
- 30:13Speaker 5: a go and find something that matches with that instead
- 30:16Speaker 5: that is still going to match within your comfort zone,
- 30:19Speaker 5: because then you're going to feel confident in it. You're
- 30:21Speaker 5: going to feel like you participated, and you can sort
- 30:23Speaker 5: of work your way up to it, which brings me
- 30:25Speaker 5: to my point, which also kind of works. If you
- 30:28Speaker 5: really want to wear that big tool dress. Okay, hypothetically,
- 30:31Speaker 5: let's say it's blue and it's chuol and it's amazing,
- 30:35Speaker 5: try and find something that's blue. Okay, maybe you've never
- 30:37Speaker 5: worn something that blue before and you want to try it.
- 30:40Speaker 5: Try add that into your wardrobe first, whether it be
- 30:42Speaker 5: a headband or an eyeshadow or whatever it is, just
- 30:44Speaker 5: add that into your wardrobe first.
- 30:46Speaker 4: See how that goes.
- 30:47Speaker 5: If you start to feel comfortable with that and you're like, okay,
- 30:48Speaker 5: I'm ready to take the next step, maybe add the
- 30:51Speaker 5: pattern that's on it into your wardrobe, wear it under
- 30:53Speaker 5: a card again, start wearing it out, see how you
- 30:55Speaker 5: feel about it, and if you're enjoying that from that point,
- 30:58Speaker 5: then you can take that final Okay, I think I'm
- 31:01Speaker 5: ready to wear that dress and then push that. Don't
- 31:03Speaker 5: feel like you have to go from zero to one hundred.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Take your time with it, because again, you're gonna feel
- 31:08Speaker 5: so much more comfortable and you put it on. If
- 31:09Speaker 5: you do that and then you still get to wear that.
- 31:11Speaker 5: It might not be immediately, you might not get that
- 31:13Speaker 5: instant gratification, but you'll get there eventually, if that makes sense.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely. Yeah, So that beautiful.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Well what's your biggest life lesson in terms of fashion
- 31:25Speaker 3: and style so far?
- 31:28Speaker 4: Again, it's gonna sound bit cheaper.
- 31:30Speaker 5: I mean it, with all the love in the world,
- 31:33Speaker 5: nobody cares about you that much. Now, I mean that
- 31:37Speaker 5: in the nice so possibly something that I've had to
- 31:39Speaker 5: learn as well. But if you want to wear that outfit,
- 31:42Speaker 5: if you want to start doing something different with your hair,
- 31:45Speaker 5: if you want to start acting a different way, people
- 31:47Speaker 5: might think about it for a second, but then they're
- 31:49Speaker 5: going to go on with their lives. Everybody's so caught
- 31:51Speaker 5: up in what they're doing that it's not going to
- 31:53Speaker 5: matter that much to them. And at the end of
- 31:54Speaker 5: the day, you don't want to like be old and
- 31:56Speaker 5: thinking I wish I had just dressed for myself to
- 32:00Speaker 5: be able to say I did everything for me and
- 32:02Speaker 5: I felt comfortable in what I was doing and I
- 32:04Speaker 5: feel like I was my best self presenting. So yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 5: I would say that is in the nicest way possible.
- 32:10Speaker 5: It's not that serious and nobody cares.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's hit on a show solutely. But before we
- 32:19Speaker 3: let you go, where can the cheekys find you?
- 32:22Speaker 5: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, just Jolie Malcolm. I will be the
- 32:26Speaker 5: j O E L y.
- 32:27Speaker 4: But yeah, that's it.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yay. Thank you so much for coming on.
