  OK, I also wanted to give you guys a quick scheduling update.

  So Monday is Invasion Day here in Australia.

  It is a public holiday unfortunately and in years past

  we have never acknowledged it. We have always published on that

  day. And this year we are going to be

  having the day off from Mini only because my parents and my
• 1:06
  brother are still here in Australia.

  Like they've been here since Christmas and my husband Sean

  has the public holiday off. Like his company doesn't give

  them the option to change the day or anything like that.

  And same with my brother's girlfriend.

  She works for the post office. So again, it's closed for her.

  So there's literally going to be probably no other time when all

  of us are in the same country all together with the same day

  off where we can all spend the day together.

  So I just, I wanted to make it clear we're not celebrating it.

  We don't support that day here at Centennial World.

  And if there were any other circumstances, we would be

  recording and releasing an episode on that day.

  But that is the circumstances. That is why we will be off for

  for today. The first story that I have for

  you guys, this saga never ends. You guys, the halter top saga,

  it never ends. Tana Mojo has purchased the

  infamous The Notorious Halter Top Guitars World Halter Top and

  she has been wearing it on TikTok.

  I really shouldn't be allowed to use my money or have free will.

  It's like, listen to me. I love for love and lemons as

  much as the next girl. But all that for this I look

  like the fridge and really truly I just wanted to prove a point.

  That's the problem is once you get me fired up, I want to prove

  a point and I found this top using my resources and my money

  in under 5 minutes. No nurses were harmed in the

  making of me finding this. Top This is a quick one, but I

  had to share this. So on one hand, I understand a

  lot of people are like, this is really funny because obviously

  like Tara's whole thing was that she couldn't find it so last

  minute, all this kind of stuff. On the other hand, people are

  like this is giving mean girl, which I kind of agree with.

  It's like mean girl behavior. She's already made videos about

  this. We know what they've hurt Tara's

  feelings. No matter how we feel about Tara

  and this whole situation, no matter if we think that she was
• 3:19
  actually the nurse or if the nurse actually existed or

  whatever it is, people feel like it's not great for Tana to be
• 3:27
  making a mockery of this situation considering it's just
• 3:30
  like blown up so big. I don't know.

  What do you guys think about this whole situation?

  It's like we're keeping tabs on the halter top saga.

  OK, The next story that I have for you guys is Madison Beer has

  said she doesn't really care about rebranding herself.

  So Madison Beer's new album Locket came out last week and

  she's been doing a press run for it.
• 3:54
  And during this, she opened up about the fan pressure that she
• 3:58
  feels too, quote UN quote, rebrand.

  So I thought that this was relevant because we've talked so
• 4:03
  much about the rise of the pop girlies and the Kai Asylum.

  I don't know you guys. So many of you guys said that.

  I was saying wrong. I called it the Kia Asylum
• 4:13
  because that's what Bebe Rexha called it in her voice note.

  But it could be Kai Asylum, so apologies for that.

  And one name that consistently gets brought up in these
• 4:23
  conversations is Madison Beer. So there are countless video
• 4:26
  essays and think pieces out there about why Madison hasn't
• 4:30
  ascended to Maine pop girl status when she has everything
• 4:33
  going for her to make it right. Like she has the voice, she has
• 4:36
  the looks, she has the connections, she has the fame,
• 4:39
  she has the followers. Like she has the whole package.

  And the main theories out there are that she holds back too
• 4:46
  much. She's afraid of looking, quote

  UN quote ugly. Like she really prioritizes
• 4:51
  looking put together and poised and pretty all the time and that

  she doesn't have a consistent brand.

  So sometimes she is styled very cutesy and then sometimes she's

  styled very sexy. And these are things that, you

  know, a lot of pop culture commentators say really matters

  is you need to have a very cohesive, recognizable personal
• 5:12
  brand, which I guess I agree with.

  Like, when you think about the girlies that have really pop
• 5:17
  topped off recently, you know, they all have a very specific,
• 5:20
  like, aesthetic, a very recognizable style.

  So during an interview on this press run on the Elvis Duran

  Show, Madison addressed these criticisms and basically said

  she doesn't care about having a bigger career.

  I think there's a lot of discourse, and especially I see
• 5:35
  it online now where people are like, you need to do everything
• 5:38
  all the time or someone is going to take your place.

  And I'm like, well then so be it.

  I'm yeah, I think that I exist in my own world and I have my
• 5:46
  own community. And if people, you know, also

  like to be so real with you, this isn't everything to me.

  I have a lot more in my life that I think I value that isn't

  just my career and this persona and all these things and the
• 5:59
  lights, the cameras, It's all really cool.

  And I'm definitely excited to to be here and to be releasing an

  album literally today. But I think that it's also

  important for me, as I continue to grow, to not tether all
• 6:10
  myself worth to that. Stuff What I think is really

  interesting from this is she said she has so much life

  outside of her career and like, don't get me wrong, that is
• 6:19
  incredibly healthy and it's a great message to be putting out,
• 6:22
  especially to her young fans. But I just don't know if I've
• 6:25
  ever heard of pop star say anything like that before.

  Maybe Chapel. I feel like Chapel would have a

  similar sentiment or like look at her career in a similar way.

  But I just feel like as a celebrity, being a celebrity

  consumes your entire life and I imagine it can become your

  entire identity, especially when you are putting art out there.

  I feel like artists, it becomes their entire identity.

  They don't really look at it as their job.

  They look at it as part of who they are and like an extension

  of themselves. And you know, like, I couldn't

  imagine like Taylor or Sabrina or Charlie saying like, well,

  this is just my job, You know, I don't know.

  I, I, that really fascinated me, but I don't hate it.

  I'm just fascinated to hear something like that from

  somebody who is, in my opinion, mainstream.

  I just also have a soft spot for Madison Beer because I've

  actually interviewed her twice and she was so sweet both times.

  The second time she was like, Oh my God, I know you.

  Like we've chatted before, like she recognized me and I just

  love her. She's so sweet.

  She was so sweet the two times that I've met her and I've

  interviewed her. So I personally have a soft spot

  for her. And I think she's had a rough

  go. You know, I know there's a lot

  of rumors about her being a mean girl and a bully, and I'm sure

  some of those are true. But also, she has had such a

  traumatic time from such a young age in the spotlight.

  And I totally understand why she's more reserved.

  And I think it's great that she has these boundaries up now

  where she can say, like, this is a different, like, element of

  who I am. Like, this is not who I am.

  Like the fame, the famous Madison Beer is not all of who I

  am. And I think that's actually

  seemingly jumped ship to Heated Rivalry star Connor Story.

  Chalamet, is seemingly moving on from standing Timothy Chalamet

  and now she is starting a new fan account for heated rivalry

  star Connor Story. Today she tweeted that she's

  setting up this new fan account and she is called The Count

  Story Times. I love it.

  Like she has editorial talent. Honestly, she should be a

  writer. OK, so here's what she was

  tweeting. I have become repulsed from the

  immature discourse surrounded heated rivalry and the lead

  actors and supporting actors. Haters invited me to create

  also include cool Hudson info. And then she gave an update.

  I have to submit identification to Instagram for the story times

  in which they sang a silly little Jingle about Doctor

  revealed that Doctor Pepper actually did take the Jingle and

  the brand reportedly adjusted its planned commercial schedule

  Dr. Pepper's marketing team said the viral moment was too strong

  to ignore, and they licensed the Jingle from the creator with

  them. I love seeing a brand tap into

  This is a very iconic marketing moment, like a great move from

  Doctor Pepper and it really makes me crave a Doctor Pepper

  and I haven't had a Doctor Pepper in like 5 years.
