- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity, no topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:20Hello guys, thanks for tuning in to another episode of World View Matters.
- 0:23We're excited to say and remind you guys that you can go and watch all the sessions from
- 0:28the recent conference on the World View Matters YouTube channel.
- 0:32It's a relatively new YouTube.
- 0:33We've been putting up all the podcasts on there, but you can get all the sessions from
- 0:37the Redeem, the Time World View Matters conference kicking off with Alex Newman and so many
- 0:42more great speakers there on there.
- 0:44You can watch the live stream, you can watch the panel, the Q and A's, and each individual
- 0:49session.
- 0:50So check those out.
- 0:51It's free, great content, and we were just so blessed at Redeem the time and we're
- 0:57looking ahead to next year, I'll be announcing that in the next couple of weeks here.
- 1:02But we're going to jump right in here.
- 1:03We've got John Haller back with us.
- 1:04You want to make sure to check out some of the round tables he's a part of.
- 1:07And his website, Fellowship Bible Chapel on YouTube, you can follow him under the Live
- 1:13tab.
- 1:14You can get the prophecy round tables, the one that most recently did, Technocracy, Transhumanism,
- 1:21Mark of the Beast.
- 1:23And look at all these guys, Patrick Wood, Scott Townsend, Britt Gillette, David Bowen,
- 1:29and Mr. Haller.
- 1:30John, good to see you.
- 1:31Thanks for your time.
- 1:32Hi, David.
- 1:33Good to see you.
- 1:34Thanks for all you do.
- 1:35It's amazing.
- 1:36I watched some of it last night and you know, I think a lot of people can maybe say the
- 1:41same thing as I, my head was spinning after just half hour.
- 1:45But anyway, we have a couple of different directions we could go.
- 1:49You always are so great about doing the research and providing me some notes and ideas on what
- 1:54to condense and what people want to know about as far as the body of Christ and biblical
- 1:58worldview issues.
- 2:00And one of the articles you sent me was from Wired and it's this anti-tech extremism.
- 2:07Apparently, the U.S. law enforcement is warning of this as hatred of AI is growing.
- 2:16This is multifaceted to me, John, because a lot of people are just now trying to understand
- 2:21AI, little lone, like it or love it or hate it.
- 2:24So walk us through this, please, and tell us what's going on.
- 2:28So you remember it was seven, eight, nine months ago, Charlie Kirk was murdered in Utah.
- 2:37After that, the president came out with a regulation to kind of, if this is sort of
- 2:46white, the good news bad news was to protect Christians and their right to express themselves
- 2:52in the public marketplace.
- 2:54But it also sort of dragged, dragged in a lot of concerns about extremism and fascism and
- 3:02that type of thing.
- 3:04The problem with this is that when you put a regulation like that, a joint terrorism
- 3:11task force and that type of thing, when you put that into local police departments, which
- 3:16I think was one of the ultimate goals of this regulation, it sometimes gets a very
- 3:22bad application because we know that there are, I hate to say this, there are bad police
- 3:32departments here in the United States.
- 3:34There are major metropolitan areas where you can go in and steal stuff in a store, particularly
- 3:44if you're non-white, and they won't prosecute you.
- 3:51And they will come after people who try to stop it.
- 3:54This is something that's been going on in Britain.
- 3:56So in this particular case, and I think what the warning from US law enforcement carries
- 4:04with it kind of, you guys better be careful and not mess up.
- 4:09What happened down in Texas, and I don't remember the exact city, it was a place where they
- 4:14were building data centers.
- 4:16Yeah.
- 4:17And a lady was, and I can't remember her name, she's been in the news, she's been doing
- 4:22interviews.
- 4:24She complained on a Facebook group that she had set up that there was brown water in
- 4:31the area around this new data center, which is, I mean, it seems like she's doing a community
- 4:38service to warn people.
- 4:42And in fact, by the way, the municipality eventually came out and said, hey, you should maybe
- 4:50boil your water if you live in this particular area.
- 4:54So there was truth to that, the brown water?
- 4:56Oh, yeah, I mean, they had pictures of it.
- 4:58She had video of it that she posted and pictures on her Facebook group.
- 5:03But before the municipality came out, she got a visit from the police.
- 5:09She was arrested on a felony charge under a Texas statute that is not allowed to make
- 5:17a bomb threat statute.
- 5:20She's never been arrested or anything, she's never had a speeding ticket or anything
- 5:24like that.
- 5:26And she was thrown in jail for the night.
- 5:28Oh, my goodness.
- 5:29She would admit, she posted something on a Facebook group about warning people about
- 5:34this.
- 5:35Yeah, see, you're having trouble grasping the reality of the situation.
- 5:41I can see that you're struggling with this because it's like, well, if there's a problem
- 5:46in your community, I mean, I belong to a neighborhood group, you know, and we post stuff
- 5:51all the time.
- 5:52And in fact, there's a lot of people are active now and they're saying, we don't want
- 5:56any data centers.
- 5:57Neuros because we live in a rural area outside Columbus and they're building data centers
- 6:01all over the place and they're just and they're going to continue to do this until they run
- 6:06out of money or we run out of electricity.
- 6:09But she was just sort of like a public service, hey, there's an issue with the water and she's
- 6:15charged under a bomb threat statute with a felony and spends the night in jail.
- 6:23Now, they came out, they somebody intervened in this system and dropped the charges.
- 6:31But this, this is the point, she should have never been arrested in the first place.
- 6:36This has a, and people do this and the data, the data center companies, I don't know that
- 6:42they stood up for her or anything like that.
- 6:46And there's just this is, I'm sure you've interviewed Patrick Wood and Patrick was in
- 6:51our roundtable recently on AI and technology and it's the, we'll call them the tech
- 6:59bros.
- 7:00The Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, the guys at Anthropic, open AI, CM Altman, and this whole group
- 7:08and they have tremendous cache and sway with the Trump administration, Trump is pushing
- 7:16the AI thing and there's, we talk on our roundtables about the problems with AI and some
- 7:23of them are environmental, they, they do affect the water table, they have to have water
- 7:29to be cooled down.
- 7:30And so this lady complained about it or warned her neighbors and she gets arrested on a
- 7:36felony charge.
- 7:38And, and when you look at the way that, and this is the problem with AI, there are, I
- 7:44think, good things that are coming associated with AI.
- 7:48It does make your life easier in some ways, but it's the good news, bad news.
- 7:56And the bad news is that it's subject to, it's subject to being abused.
- 8:06And so, in fact, a recent technocracy news letter that Patrick would put out, talked
- 8:13about how the deep state weaponizes AI to control a narrative.
- 8:18And he has a very elaborate chart and graph.
- 8:22And I would highly recommend people to go there, subscribe to his technocracy news and
- 8:28get his newsletters and information because he has one or two of these things every day.
- 8:33And he, I think he leaves a lot on the floor that doesn't really get into it.
- 8:40But this is the problem with AI is that it makes weaponizing the system against people
- 8:47so easy.
- 8:48So, it, it, and so you see it being used, for example, you, there's all kinds of videos
- 8:55that you can see on the problems in the UK.
- 9:00There's on the street sharing the gospel reading scripture are being arrested.
- 9:07There was a famous case of a lady who was walking by an abortion clinic and bowed her head.
- 9:14And she was immediately arrested for praying within the safe zone.
- 9:20She never said a word.
- 9:22She never uttered a peep.
- 9:23I don't even know that her lips were moving, but she was arrested.
- 9:27And whether the charges stick or not is kind of irrelevant because the, if you ever get
- 9:35caught up in our legal system, you, you can win at great cost to your time and freedom
- 9:44and money and all that type of thing.
- 9:47And that's why we have this first amendment is to prevent that.
- 9:51But now it's being abused and AI is helping people abuse the system.
- 10:00Let me give you one other example.
- 10:02In Israel, Israel is at war.
- 10:06Israel will talk a little more about this, I'm sure, as we go through the program, Israel
- 10:10is at war on many fronts.
- 10:14When I was in Israel last fall, everywhere we went that was a significant cultural,
- 10:20historical site.
- 10:23There was a group of IDF soldiers in the Golan Heights, Met Gaza in the old city, everywhere
- 10:32we went, we saw IDF soldiers, active IDF soldiers.
- 10:36They go in a heritage tour so they understand the nature of the state of Israel and its history
- 10:43and it's how it's tied to the land that God promised to them in the Bible.
- 10:51And I remember up to the Golan Heights, I was taking picture looking into Syria, you're
- 10:56about 35 miles from Damascus up there and I accidentally caught a soldier in the corner
- 11:06of my camera on one side.
- 11:09And immediately there were three soldiers there saying don't do that, don't take any
- 11:18pictures of the soldiers, please.
- 11:21Because what's happened is some of those pictures are getting into the press and these left-wing
- 11:28NGOs that are all funded by the same sources, by Qatar and other extremist organizations
- 11:35like under the Soros and Brella.
- 11:39They're now taking those pictures, running them through AI, finding out where the people
- 11:44live and posting personal information about them on social media, they're doxing them.
- 11:52And that's extremely easy with AI, I mean I'm an old guy relatively speaking but I think
- 12:00I could figure out how to do it in almost no time at all.
- 12:06So it's a huge problem and it's worse in Europe but it's coming here.
- 12:13Well that goes back to the story and we'll wrap it up in a couple minutes over at Wired
- 12:17that this report warned of widespread upheaval in response to AI adoption and it says
- 12:27the chaotic atmosphere that may result from emergent AI technology in the next five years
- 12:35may fuel large-scale protests that devolve into civil unrest and anti-tech violent extremist
- 12:45activity, especially in large urban areas.
- 12:49We didn't think about this, I didn't see this coming but it makes sense.
- 12:52I mean some people are losing jobs, it's not just about water quality or the data center.
- 12:58Some people are losing jobs, maybe some already have and they're upset and they're getting
- 13:03angry about this.
- 13:04Wrap us up on this topic of AI and this experience in time.
- 13:09In all these governments, all the government entities here in the United States, they all
- 13:13have an intelligence bureau counter-terrorism and that type of thing.
- 13:18And so the good thing was this was to prevent anti-Christian terrorism like happened to
- 13:26Charlie Kirk but the problem was the way this regulation is worded and how people interpret
- 13:34it at the local level and even the federal level is very troubling.
- 13:40And it will lead to unrest, it will lead to protests and it is a very big problem.
- 13:46So there's the blessing and the curse thing that happens all the time with these type
- 13:51of regulations.
- 13:52And I'm a free speech guy, I don't like people saying bad things.
- 13:58I don't like Tucker Katarelsen and Propacandus Owens and some of the nonsense that they
- 14:08spew on it.
- 14:10I don't know how they put out the number of programs that they do.
- 14:12They obviously have a staff dedicated to misleading people but the problem is I don't know
- 14:18if I want to shut them down.
- 14:20I don't mind that they're on platforms, right?
- 14:25As long as you can criticize them freely and counter it, counter it.
- 14:30That's right.
- 14:31And I think by letting them speak sometimes, they look if you get a thinking person on
- 14:37the other end of it, if they're thinking, if they understand, if they think, if they've
- 14:44been trained well, if they read.
- 14:47I know there's a lot of ifs, they Tucker Katarelsen looks like an idiot.
- 14:55But and he's always caught in these inconsistencies and everything.
- 15:00And the stuff he says, it's just, it's every day something comes across my feed that he's
- 15:04done recently, at least once, twice, 20 times.
- 15:09And it's a little bit annoying, but it's very concerning that this is an issue.
- 15:15So real quick, friends, Jeff put up that article at the very beginning of this conversation.
- 15:19Check it out.
- 15:20It's very thorough, very detailed over at Wired.
- 15:22And again, it's called U.S. law enforcement warns of anti-tech extremism as AI hatred grows.
- 15:30So before we jump into, we're really going over and talking about Turkey next because we
- 15:34don't hear a lot about what's going on in Turkey and some of the issues there that are
- 15:39kind of surprising.
- 15:41But let's talk about Freedom Project Academy briefly because falls coming up and they
- 15:45are now enrolling students.
- 15:47And they've been doing this for 16 years.
- 15:49FPA has delivered a fully accredited classical online education rooted firmly in Judeo-Christian
- 15:54values for kids in pre-K through high school.
- 15:58They offer live anytime and homeschool courses to fit your child's needs.
- 16:03Visit freedom f-o-r-school.com and save 10% on tuition when you use the code, David.
- 16:10Again, use David and save 10% on all courses at Freedom Project Academy.
- 16:16One more time, here's the website, freedom f-o-r-school.com and get started.
- 16:23Okay, John Halibur.
- 16:24This is going by very, very fast.
- 16:25Now let's talk about Turkey.
- 16:27You sent me some bullet points in there.
- 16:29There's so much in this and what's going on there that most people don't know about because
- 16:33we don't hear Turkey in the news, right?
- 16:36Tell us about your concerns.
- 16:38Yeah, well, first of all, when we look at it from a Bible prophecy standpoint, I don't
- 16:43think there's any question, but the Turkey is, I think, the major player in the Ezekiel
- 16:5038 coalition.
- 16:53There's an argument in our community is Russia, Megag, is Turkey, Megag.
- 16:58I think the better the answer to that is Turkey is Megag.
- 17:02That doesn't mean that Russia might not be involved in this invasion.
- 17:06It also says Persia, but when Ezekiel wrote that passage, he was looking at the regions
- 17:12from where these people would come from, not necessarily where the people that were living
- 17:17in those regions ended up.
- 17:19So I think he's looking at the region and so he described Persia, Megag, Tagarma, Gomer,
- 17:27and clearly Turkey is a major, major part of that.
- 17:30And I believe that some of the better historical evidence is that Megag was in Turkey.
- 17:36So 25 years ago, Recep Erdogan became the prime minister of Turkey.
- 17:43He had been the mayor of Istanbul.
- 17:45He had won awards for recitation of the Quran while he was growing up.
- 17:49He used to stand on the boughs of fairies across the Bosphorus and quote the Quran sort
- 17:55of in a singing voice.
- 17:57And he could do this to this day.
- 18:00When he took power in around 2003, I believe one or two thousand one or two thousand three,
- 18:07he Turkey had a secular military was set up for secular military.
- 18:12So the Muslims wouldn't take control.
- 18:17Well he has completely decimated the non-Muslim aspect of the Turkish military.
- 18:24He throws reporters, press people in jail all the time, is currently coming up on an
- 18:30election.
- 18:31And just this week, within the last 72 hours, the Supreme Court ruled that the person
- 18:38who was most likely to, who had been nominated to oppose him in the upcoming election, that
- 18:45election, that nomination process was flawed and the guy could not run.
- 18:51And then he sent troops or police into the party headquarters and completely tore it apart.
- 19:03And so he's likely, if he runs or his son runs or somebody else thinks like him, he's
- 19:10going to win.
- 19:12And he has systematically changed everything.
- 19:17About 20 years ago, he started an organization called Sedat, S-A-D-A-T, with one of his favorite
- 19:23generals, who has since died, but the organization lives on.
- 19:28And what that guy did was replace regular secular Turkish military guys with Islamist guys.
- 19:38So we know that in the last year, in a half, over the last five years, Erdogan carefully
- 19:47crafted an organization, a military group, militia, in Syria.
- 19:57He had 51 bases around Idlib Syria.
- 20:00When the Turkish Revolution took place in December of 2024, it came from Idlib.
- 20:08This Al-Jawani, Al-Sharah, whatever you want to call him, I think one commentator calls
- 20:13him Al-Sharia, which I think is a good thing, he's a former terrorist.
- 20:18And it's beyond my comprehension, why Erdogan and Al-Sharah get such deference from our government.
- 20:30Al-Sharah came to the White House last November, sat there in the Oval Office.
- 20:35It was interesting when he was there, the Turkish foreign minister, who headed up the Turkish
- 20:42intelligence, the Turkish equivalent of the Israeli Masad, is now the foreign minister
- 20:48was sitting right there next to him in the White and the Oval Office.
- 20:54Because I think he's Al-Sharah's handler.
- 20:57And this was a very significant thing, that the Sunni Islam, David Worms, or made this
- 21:04a notation a year later, that in December 2004, Sunni Islam took over Damascus, which
- 21:14was the center, the geopolitical and religious center of probably the largest Muslim caliphate
- 21:23in history.
- 21:24It lasted a little less than a hundred years, but it was centered into Damascus.
- 21:30And as David Worms says, now, Sunni Islam has their geopolitical and religious capital
- 21:37under their control for the first time in over a thousand years.
- 21:43This is significant geopolitically and significant, prophetically.
- 21:49He currently has a very active, very robust, very active defense industry, drones, unmanned
- 22:02flights.
- 22:03They're doing things that nobody else is doing, defense-wise.
- 22:08They've now announced the project to build drones in all 81 Turkish provinces that there
- 22:14are.
- 22:16And this drone technology, and we can see what's going on with Ukraine, and I think some
- 22:21of the success that Ukraine has had against Russia, I think 97 percent of Russian soldiers
- 22:28in military equipment that's destroyed is now destroyed by first-person drones, little
- 22:33drones.
- 22:34Wow.
- 22:35And this is happening.
- 22:36And this is a big problem right now with, I think Israel will solve it, but right now,
- 22:41Israeli soldiers and people are dying because of these small drones that they put a grenade
- 22:46on.
- 22:47And you can't see them.
- 22:48And then they're using fiber optics.
- 22:50They can fly about six miles with these fiber optic wires.
- 22:55And of course, it leaves a lot of, you can imagine, six miles of fiber optic wire would leave
- 23:00a pile of stuff behind.
- 23:02This is a huge problem.
- 23:05Turkey currently has the largest nuclear power plant in the world under construction on
- 23:11the Mediterranean using Russian technology.
- 23:15Now around May 21st, I attended the Middle East Forum Conference in Washington, DC.
- 23:25These are experts, Daniel Pipes, Dexter Van Zile, all superb knowledgeable people who
- 23:31make understanding what's going on in the Middle East, their life's work.
- 23:36We did a war game.
- 23:37The war game was very interesting.
- 23:40The war game involved Turkey wanting to get nuclear material.
- 23:47So when people in Israel say that Turkey is the next Iran, take them seriously.
- 23:53And this has, as I said, geopolitical, religious, and prophetic overtones.
- 23:59Yes.
- 24:00The Turks drove us crazy in the war game, I would say.
- 24:03They were impossible.
- 24:05It was like dealing with Iran.
- 24:07You can't negotiate with them, right?
- 24:10Right.
- 24:11And you need to remember, too, that we talk about anti-colonialism, all of the Israel's
- 24:16and colonial power taking over that particular country.
- 24:20Until 1453, we had a thing called the Western half of the Roman Empire, the Eastern half,
- 24:30I'm sorry, survived the Western part of the Roman Empire by over a thousand years.
- 24:37Western part of the Roman Empire fell.
- 24:40The place centered in Constantinople lasted another thousand years.
- 24:48But then the Anatol of Peninsula where Turkey is located, very strategically, geographically
- 24:55important thing.
- 24:57They were invaded by Turks from Central Asia.
- 25:02And so there's a lot of ethnic tension there, but the Turkey tribe, the Turkmen tribe,
- 25:11is rising.
- 25:12And when you look at some of our Bible prophecy colleagues, they will use maps, and they
- 25:18will show Megaw going up into Central Asia into what we call the Stan republics.
- 25:24Stan, Kurdistan, those things.
- 25:27Their Turkish orientation, and Erdogan was just there recently.
- 25:32The children which any, he's the father of us Turks, there's a very ethnic tribal religious
- 25:43component to this, they're all Muslims.
- 25:47And now they have a thing in the Turkish textbooks, they're changing the maps.
- 25:53By the way, if you watch Turkish guys on TV in the government and that type of thing,
- 25:59everybody's got a map.
- 26:00I mean, it's really kind of comical.
- 26:04But you ask them a question, they pull out a map because they're redrawing the map.
- 26:10And so what they're doing is now the Central Asia used to be what they called those Stan
- 26:16republics in Turkish textbooks.
- 26:19Nearly a year and a half ago, those textbooks were all changed to refer to Turkistan.
- 26:25And now we have this thing called the organization of Turkey steaks.
- 26:28There was just a big meaning Erdogan was at it.
- 26:31It took place in Kazakhstan.
- 26:35Now why is that relevant?
- 26:37Turkey is becoming a nuclear problem.
- 26:41It will become a nuclear problem.
- 26:44Turkey is the next Iran.
- 26:47Erdogan was just in Kazakhstan and guess what?
- 26:52Kazakhstan produces 40% of the world's uranium.
- 26:57Wow.
- 27:01And we have a big problem.
- 27:02And so I think the thing in the Middle East is difficult to figure out.
- 27:08It's incredibly complex.
- 27:10This war game exercise only reaffirmed that.
- 27:14They need Israel needs to be given the ability to finish the job on three fronts.
- 27:20Gaza, Hezbollah and Lebanon and Iran.
- 27:25And then they need to push all of their resources to getting ready for the Turks.
- 27:32We don't hear about it yet.
- 27:34Almost everybody in Israel that's in the security services is talking about it.
- 27:39It doesn't get a lot of publicity.
- 27:41Erdogan is trying to redo the map.
- 27:45And so when you look at his equal 30, it says, I will draw you back.
- 27:49The application is you were here and you left.
- 27:52Well, the Turks ruled Jerusalem for 400 years from 1519 to 1917 to 1917.
- 28:04When the British kind of booted them out.
- 28:07But they're planning on coming back.
- 28:10They think that whole area is theirs.
- 28:13And I can take you to friends that I know in Jerusalem.
- 28:16Turkey's tourists and people come.
- 28:19And sometimes look on a tour or something in the old city.
- 28:22And then the people will come back and say, by the way, we're coming back to take back what's ours.
- 28:27Wow.
- 28:28All right, brother.
- 28:30Crazy times to be continued.
- 28:33You know, don't just follow with the news reports, but keep your eye on Turkey.
