- 1:00Speaker 4: On That Kevin Show.
- 1:08Speaker 3: And now from the Connors and Sullivan Broadcast Studios. A
- 1:12Speaker 3: man who is not what he wants to be, that
- 1:15Speaker 3: is way grateful, that is not who he used to be.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Here, Hi, Kelvin mceller, Welcome to Holy Week. It will
- 1:28Speaker 1: be a week of broadcasts very different than anything else
- 1:33Speaker 1: I do all year long. And as we get closer
- 1:36Speaker 1: to this coming weekend, it's going to get even more intense.
- 1:41Speaker 1: And the reason why that's important is because that's what
- 1:43Speaker 1: happened to our savior. He comes riding in on Sunday
- 1:49Speaker 1: to hale's and hosannas, and by the time the following
- 1:53Speaker 1: Sunday comes, he has been put through an excruciating crucible
- 1:57Speaker 1: in ways that some one of us can imagine. There
- 2:01Speaker 1: are moments that feel almost too poetic to be real,
- 2:07Speaker 1: and Palm Sunday is one of them. What we just
- 2:11Speaker 1: celebrated yesterday and many churches around the world, Jesus rides
- 2:15Speaker 1: into Jerusalem, not in secrecy, not under the cover of darkness,
- 2:21Speaker 1: but in full view, big swelling, electric crowds. They line
- 2:26Speaker 1: the streets, They wave palm branches, They throw their cloaks
- 2:29Speaker 1: on the ground. They shout Hosanna, blessed is he who
- 2:32Speaker 1: comes in the name of the Lord. They are celebrating
- 2:34Speaker 1: him like a king, and they're right to do so.
- 2:38Speaker 1: This wasn't random, It wasn't accidental, This wasn't Jesus getting
- 2:44Speaker 1: swept up in a moment. This was deliberate, calculated, prophetic fulfillment.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Centuries earlier, the prophet Zachariah had written that Israel's king
- 2:53Speaker 1: would come riding on a donkey, gentle, humble, unmistakable, And
- 3:00Speaker 1: here he was doing exactly that, not on a war horse,
- 3:04Speaker 1: not with an army, but on a borrowed donkey. Because
- 3:08Speaker 1: he wasn't coming to conquer Rome. He was coming to
- 3:11Speaker 1: conquer something far more permanent. And just days before he
- 3:15Speaker 1: had actually stunned everybody by raising Lazarus from the dead.
- 3:22Speaker 1: That alone would have made him the most talked about
- 3:24Speaker 1: figure in the region, and it did. People don't forget
- 3:28Speaker 1: funerals that turn into reunions. It's just something that they're
- 3:30Speaker 1: not accustomed to seeing. Words spread quickly, and by the
- 3:35Speaker 1: time Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd wasn't just curious. They
- 3:39Speaker 1: were expectant. Something was happening, something huge, something that felt
- 3:45Speaker 1: like the turning of an age, was about to take place.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And for a moment, just a moment, they got it right.
- 3:53Speaker 1: They praised him, they welcomed him, they honored him. But
- 3:58Speaker 1: what they didn't understand, what they couldn't see yet, was
- 4:02Speaker 1: that the very man they were celebrating was walking directly
- 4:05Speaker 1: into the greatest suffering any human will ever experience. And
- 4:09Speaker 1: he knew it. Every step of that. Donkey's slow procession
- 4:14Speaker 1: toward the city gates was a step toward betrayal. It
- 4:17Speaker 1: was a step toward being accused falsely. It was a
- 4:21Speaker 1: step toward having a complete trial rigged against him, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: eventually it was a step toward what would be a brutal, humiliating, horrific,
- 4:34Speaker 1: painful execution. He knew the cheers would fade, He knew
- 4:40Speaker 1: the crowd would turn. He knew that many of the
- 4:43Speaker 1: same voices shouting Hosanna would soon be screaming crucify him.
- 4:47Speaker 1: And still he went, Why Why walk into heartbreak on purpose?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Why endure injustice when you have the power to stop it.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Why accept praise from people who will abandon you just
- 5:03Speaker 1: days later. That seems like madness, and in a way
- 5:06Speaker 1: it is, But it is not the madness of chaos.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It is the madness of love. Because what looks irrational
- 5:15Speaker 1: to us is actually the most intentional act in human history.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Jesus was not a victim of circumstances. He wasn't trapped
- 5:23Speaker 1: by events spiraling out of control. He was orchestrating the
- 5:28Speaker 1: very path that would lead him to the cross. Let
- 5:31Speaker 1: me say that again. He was orchestrating it. He chose it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: He chose the betrayal, he chose the rejection, he chose
- 5:44Speaker 1: the pain. He chose the cross not because he had to,
- 5:52Speaker 1: but because we needed him to. And that's the part
- 5:56Speaker 1: Palm Sunday forces us to confront. We love the parades,
- 6:02Speaker 1: we love the celebration, We love the idea of a
- 6:06Speaker 1: savior who is welcomed and adored and recognized, but we
- 6:11Speaker 1: tend to look away from what came next, the loneliness,
- 6:16Speaker 1: the injustice, the suffering, the separation. And yet without those things,
- 6:22Speaker 1: there is no rescue. Without the cross, there is no forgiveness.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Without his suffering, there's no healing, and most importantly, without
- 6:32Speaker 1: his death, there is no life. The madness of Palm
- 6:36Speaker 1: Sunday is that the king that is being celebrated by
- 6:40Speaker 1: the people are being celebrated by people who don't understand
- 6:45Speaker 1: the cost that he's about to pay for them. And friend,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if we're honest, we're not different. We celebrate him when
- 6:55Speaker 1: it's convenient, We acknowledge him when it fits, We praise
- 7:01Speaker 1: him in moments, but ignore him and others. And still
- 7:05Speaker 1: he comes. Still, he chooses us. Still he walks straight
- 7:11Speaker 1: into the brokenness of our lives, knowing full well how
- 7:14Speaker 1: often we fall short. That's not normal, that's certainly not logical,
- 7:21Speaker 1: it's not fair. It's what we call mercy, and it's
- 7:26Speaker 1: a mercy that didn't end in Jerusalem. It didn't end
- 7:31Speaker 1: at the cross, it didn't end at the tomb. It's
- 7:37Speaker 1: a mercy that is still being offered right now to you.
- 7:44Speaker 1: This week, I want to invite you to lean into
- 7:46Speaker 1: that reality more deeply, maybe more deeply than ever before,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because today we're going to start walking through the story
- 7:55Speaker 1: of the Cross from a perspective that may surprise you,
- 7:59Speaker 1: the voice of a thief who hung next to him.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Because if you want to understand the gift that Jesus
- 8:07Speaker 1: was giving on that cross that day, there may be
- 8:11Speaker 1: no better vantage point than someone who received it in
- 8:14Speaker 1: his final moments. But today, as we begin this journey,
- 8:19Speaker 1: sit with that contrast. Sit with the cheers and then
- 8:24Speaker 1: the silence, the welcome and then the rejection, the king,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and then the cross, because if you want to grasp
- 8:36Speaker 1: the distance between how he was received and how he
- 8:39Speaker 1: was treated, you begin to understand the depth of what
- 8:43Speaker 1: he chose to do. It wasn't accidental, It wasn't inevitable,
- 8:50Speaker 1: it was intentional. It was love. And if you want
- 8:56Speaker 1: to reflect on that tension even more, We've got a
- 9:02Speaker 1: little something for you. It's a musical journey through this
- 9:07Speaker 1: very collision of human brokenness and divine compassion. It's called
- 9:11Speaker 1: The Madness and Mercy. And if you email me that
- 9:17Speaker 1: Kevin Show at gmail dot com, we'll send you a
- 9:19Speaker 1: free copy of it. It's a two song ep from
- 9:21Speaker 1: the t Collective. But just let it play, let it settle,
- 9:28Speaker 1: because the same Jesus who rode into Jerusalem that day,
- 9:31Speaker 1: knowing full well what was coming, he's still reaching for
- 9:34Speaker 1: you today, and that, my friend, may be the greatest
- 9:39Speaker 1: madness of all. Kevin McCullough. We're going to get into
- 9:44Speaker 1: how do we live next and start that journey with
- 9:47Speaker 1: the thief.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Stay with us here.
- 10:08Speaker 2: He is from New York, that Kevin. Kevin McCulla.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Hi, Kevin McCullough, Welcome in. We have got a great
- 10:21Speaker 1: show and week planned for you as we are going
- 10:24Speaker 1: to dig deep into what the significance of this week,
- 10:28Speaker 1: of the of the of the year means. Because friends,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I don't know that there's anything more important. I'm devoting
- 10:39Speaker 1: the space of my show, the space of my column,
- 10:44Speaker 1: everything everywhere that I can be heard this week, this
- 10:48Speaker 1: is what I'm talking about. And as we get to
- 10:52Speaker 1: this portion of the show where every day we ask
- 10:54Speaker 1: the big question, how how do we live? How do
- 10:57Speaker 1: we live in the midst of the entanglements of a
- 11:02Speaker 1: culture that hates us? How do we live in the
- 11:06Speaker 1: midst of a culture that despises the Bible that we
- 11:10Speaker 1: read and really has no use for us as people?
- 11:16Speaker 1: I want us to consider strongly what the value of
- 11:23Speaker 1: taking this week to reflect, maybe to watch the film
- 11:27Speaker 1: Heaven How I Got Here and share it with friends.
- 11:30Speaker 1: You can get a free copy at that kevinshow dot
- 11:32Speaker 1: com backslash Heaven and if you don't see it on
- 11:36Speaker 1: the page, go to the promotions tab and it's there
- 11:39Speaker 1: under the promotions tab. But I want to talk about
- 11:44Speaker 1: the story of this week from a different perspective, because
- 11:51Speaker 1: the first thing to die wasn't his body, It was
- 11:55Speaker 1: his illusion. He hung there with lungs burning and muscles failing.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Every breath he took was a fight that he was losing.
- 12:12Speaker 1: The crowd didn't care, the soldiers didn't care. The sky
- 12:18Speaker 1: itself seemed to turn its back on the situation, and
- 12:23Speaker 1: for the first time in his life, he stopped lying
- 12:26Speaker 1: to himself. We are punished justly, We are getting what
- 12:32Speaker 1: our deeds deserve, he said, No excuses, no softening, No,
- 12:38Speaker 1: But you don't understand just truth, raw, unfiltered, final truth.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And it's almost unbearable to hear because it's the one
- 12:54Speaker 1: sentence we spend our entire lives avoiding. We don't talk
- 12:58Speaker 1: like that. We explain ourselves, We justify, we compare. I'm
- 13:03Speaker 1: not perfect, but I'm not that bad. I've made mistakes,
- 13:09Speaker 1: but I meant well. I've done wrong, but look at
- 13:14Speaker 1: everything I've done right. It's the way we are. We
- 13:21Speaker 1: build a case, we polish it, we present it to
- 13:25Speaker 1: ourselves over and over again until we almost believe it.
- 13:31Speaker 1: But strip everything away, your reputation, your achievements, your distractions,
- 13:35Speaker 1: and what's left the thief found out because pain has
- 13:42Speaker 1: a way of cutting through every layer that we hide behind.
- 13:47Speaker 1: There's no pretending when you're dying. There's no audience to impress.
- 13:55Speaker 1: There's certainly no future where you can fix it later.
- 14:00Speaker 1: When you're dying, it's just you and the truth, and
- 14:04Speaker 1: the truth was this. I deserve this, say that out loud,
- 14:13Speaker 1: feel how violently your soul resists it, because everything in us,
- 14:20Speaker 1: in our humanity, wants to push back against that. No,
- 14:23Speaker 1: I don't. I'm not that bad. I've lived a decent life,
- 14:29Speaker 1: but decent compared to what other broken people. That's the
- 14:34Speaker 1: game we play, isn't it. We line ourselves up next
- 14:36Speaker 1: to someone who's worse, and then we take a deep breath.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh as bad as him, but hanging on that cross,
- 14:46Speaker 1: there was no one left to compare himself to. The
- 14:50Speaker 1: Only one that remained was right next to him, beaten, bleeding,
- 15:02Speaker 1: silent under accusation, And the thief saw something, something so clear,
- 15:09Speaker 1: so undeniable, It broke through every lie he had ever
- 15:13Speaker 1: told himself. This man has done nothing wrong, nothing, no sin,
- 15:24Speaker 1: no deceit, no hidden failures, nothing. Do you understand how
- 15:33Speaker 1: terrifying that realization is, Because in one glance, the thief
- 15:38Speaker 1: saw the full distance between himself and Jesus, not a gap,
- 15:44Speaker 1: a chasm. I am guilty, he is not. And suddenly
- 15:54Speaker 1: every excuse died, every comparison fell apart, every defense collapsed
- 16:02Speaker 1: under the weight of reality. That's the moment that everything changes,
- 16:06Speaker 1: Not when you try harder, not when you clean yourself up,
- 16:09Speaker 1: not when you promise to be better next time, but
- 16:13Speaker 1: when you finally, brutally, honestly admit I am not good.
- 16:22Speaker 1: And that's where this story becomes really personal. Because we
- 16:28Speaker 1: don't want this to be true about us. We'll read
- 16:32Speaker 1: this story and quietly place ourselves somewhere safer. Not the thief,
- 16:37Speaker 1: not the criminal, maybe the concerned observer, maybe the sympathetic bystander,
- 16:50Speaker 1: anything but the guilty man on the cross. The truth is,
- 16:57Speaker 1: we're closer to him than we want to admit. You
- 17:02Speaker 1: may not have committed his crimes, but you've sinned. You've
- 17:07Speaker 1: chosen yourself over what's right. You've wounded people with words
- 17:11Speaker 1: that you can't take back. You've ignored truth when it
- 17:14Speaker 1: was inconvenient. You've known better and done otherwise, and so
- 17:19Speaker 1: have I. And deep down you know it. You feel
- 17:28Speaker 1: it in the quiet moments, in the stillness that we
- 17:33Speaker 1: don't take much anymore. When the noise fades and the
- 17:38Speaker 1: distractions stop working, there's a whisper you can't quite silence.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Something isn't right. The thief stopped silencing it, he let
- 17:51Speaker 1: it speak, and it crushed him. But friends, here's what's
- 17:58Speaker 1: so staggering about that. That crushing moment was the beginning
- 18:07Speaker 1: of his rescue. Because as long as you believe you're
- 18:15Speaker 1: good enough, you will never reach for the one who is.
- 18:21Speaker 1: As long as you defend yourself, you will never surrender,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and as long as you hold on to the illusion,
- 18:34Speaker 1: you will never experience the truth. The truth isn't comfortable,
- 18:43Speaker 1: it's not flattering. It doesn't patch you on the back.
- 18:49Speaker 1: It nails you to a cross and says you are guilty.
- 18:55Speaker 1: But it doesn't stop there, because hanging next to that
- 19:00Speaker 1: guilty man was the only innocent one who has ever lived.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And he was there by accident. He wasn't there by accident. Rather,
- 19:09Speaker 1: he was there on purpose. He wasn't supposed to be there.
- 19:15Speaker 1: He chose to be there. He didn't commit crimes to
- 19:19Speaker 1: be there. He willfully took the slander and the wrongful
- 19:24Speaker 1: accusal and went to that cross. He went there for him,
- 19:31Speaker 1: the thief, for you, and for me. That's the part
- 19:37Speaker 1: that should shake us, because Jesus didn't come for people
- 19:41Speaker 1: who had it together. He came for people who didn't.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Jesus didn't come for righteous people. He came for the guilty,
- 19:49Speaker 1: which means this the moment you finally stopped pretending, the
- 19:53Speaker 1: moment you finally tell the truth about yourself, you are
- 19:56Speaker 1: standing closer to the grace that you have longed four
- 20:00Speaker 1: and you've ever been in your life. That thief was
- 20:04Speaker 1: seconds from eternity, nothing to offer, nothing left to fix,
- 20:11Speaker 1: nothing left to prove, just a broken man telling the truth,
- 20:18Speaker 1: and it was enough to change everything. So don't rush
- 20:21Speaker 1: past this. Don't soften it, don't explain it away. Let
- 20:27Speaker 1: it hit you, let it unsettle you, let it strip
- 20:31Speaker 1: away every comfortable lie you've built around yourself, because until
- 20:35Speaker 1: you see yourself clearly, you will never see him for
- 20:39Speaker 1: who he truly is. And once you do, everything changes everything.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I'm Kevin McColloch.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Let's stick around it for more of than Kevin.
- 20:51Speaker 6: Next here he is from New York, That Kevin.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Kevin McCullough.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Welcome back, Kevin mccallaugh.
- 21:20Speaker 5: Glad to have you with us.
- 21:23Speaker 1: We're going to take a really slow look at the
- 21:26Speaker 1: thief on the cross this week today. Just his realization,
- 21:29Speaker 1: just his waking up, just his saying, hey, I guess
- 21:34Speaker 1: I'm not what I thought I was and being honest
- 21:39Speaker 1: about it. And friends, that's where That's where I want
- 21:43Speaker 1: all of us to be this week. You've heard me
- 21:47Speaker 1: talking about open the Bible. You've heard me talking about Heaven,
- 21:51Speaker 1: how I got here, and the story of the Thief
- 21:55Speaker 1: on the Cross, and the watch kits that we are
- 21:57Speaker 1: providing for people that request them. If you go to
- 22:03Speaker 1: that kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven, you can request a
- 22:07Speaker 1: watch kit. What comes in it is a trailer to
- 22:11Speaker 1: the movie, the link to the movie, and some discussion
- 22:16Speaker 1: questions for the movie, and whether you watch it on
- 22:20Speaker 1: your own or you share it with friends. We hope
- 22:24Speaker 1: that you'll share it many times this week, But will
- 22:30Speaker 1: you join us in telling this story of the Thief
- 22:33Speaker 1: on the Cross to as many people as possible. I
- 22:37Speaker 1: don't think there's a better example in all of scripture
- 22:40Speaker 1: of what the Christian experience of saving faith looks like
- 22:48Speaker 1: more than that. So, my friends, thank you for being here.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I'm also asking you to consider feeding one of the
- 23:00Speaker 1: forty six children we have left of our goal of
- 23:03Speaker 1: seven hundred and twenty. Thank you for a huge response
- 23:08Speaker 1: this weekend. Forty six kids left. I don't want to
- 23:12Speaker 1: leave one of them behind. Seventy five dollars feeds one
- 23:15Speaker 1: of them two meals a day for the next year,
- 23:16Speaker 1: and gives them all the clean drinking water they can have,
- 23:19Speaker 1: and also shares with them the love of Jesus. They're
- 23:25Speaker 1: in bad physical shape because they're malnourished. They're in bad
- 23:28Speaker 1: physical shape because the only water sources that they have
- 23:31Speaker 1: are filthy, diseased, filled with germs and microorganisms that will
- 23:40Speaker 1: give them all kinds of intestinal problems. But you solve
- 23:47Speaker 1: all that when you give them clean drinking water, as
- 23:49Speaker 1: much of it as they can have for the next
- 23:51Speaker 1: foreseeable future, and two meals a day carbohydrates, proteins, things
- 23:59Speaker 1: that their bodies undernourished body's need to begin to not
- 24:02Speaker 1: just heal, but begin to grow, and two meals a
- 24:06Speaker 1: day for the next year, plus all the clean drinking
- 24:10Speaker 1: water they can have when they're not getting one meal
- 24:12Speaker 1: every three days now and drinking sludge. Friends, what a
- 24:17Speaker 1: gift that is? Seventy five dollars does that for one
- 24:20Speaker 1: child for the whole year, for the whole year, seven
- 24:23Speaker 1: hundred and thirty meals and all the clean drinking water
- 24:26Speaker 1: that they can handle. And the water is three times
- 24:28Speaker 1: as valuable as the food. Seventy five dollars one kid.
- 24:39Speaker 1: There are forty six children that we have that are
- 24:41Speaker 1: on the list that we have not spoken for yet,
- 24:47Speaker 1: and I'm asking you to be as generous as you can.
- 24:50Speaker 1: One person could handle the entire forty six kids for
- 24:53Speaker 1: a thirty five hundred dollars gift. Could you do one
- 24:56Speaker 1: hundred and fifty and take care of two kids. Here's
- 25:01Speaker 1: a little added sweetener. If you do it this hour,
- 25:04Speaker 1: it will be matched, So go for it. We also
- 25:11Speaker 1: have a thank you gift for every person that gives
- 25:13Speaker 1: a gift this week. If you give a gift of
- 25:15Speaker 1: any dollar amount, seventy five dollars helps a child. But
- 25:20Speaker 1: whatever you can give twice that three times that eight
- 25:26Speaker 1: five five nine zero seven four six seven three. We
- 25:29Speaker 1: have a little gift for you. It's a little EP
- 25:33Speaker 1: is what it's called. It's a little mini music project
- 25:37Speaker 1: has two songs on it designed to help focus your
- 25:40Speaker 1: thoughts for Holy Week, make us a little more grateful
- 25:44Speaker 1: for what Jesus did. But we will send that to
- 25:49Speaker 1: you electronically Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube. Once you give
- 25:56Speaker 1: your gift, everyone that gives a gift gets it free
- 25:58Speaker 1: this this week. So even if you get something already
- 26:00Speaker 1: and you want to get it, Just give another gift
- 26:04Speaker 1: whatever size eight five, five, nine, zero seven, four, six
- 26:08Speaker 1: seven three eight five five nine zero seven four six
- 26:12Speaker 1: seven three eight fivey five nine zero seven four six
- 26:16Speaker 1: seven three. But we need you to be generous, and
- 26:20Speaker 1: we need you to do it today. And why are
- 26:24Speaker 1: we giving you those two songs, that little ep because
- 26:29Speaker 1: they narrow us in on the message of just how
- 26:33Speaker 1: crazy it looked that Jesus would give up everything for us.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I've called it for years of madness. The people around
- 26:41Speaker 1: him looked at him as though he were mad. In reality,
- 26:45Speaker 1: it was the Pharisees who were mad that came up.
- 26:48Speaker 1: He's riding the donkey to get in the city, and
- 26:50Speaker 1: they're like, you can't do that. People don't even think
- 26:51Speaker 1: you the Messiah. Why because it fulfills a prophecy that
- 26:54Speaker 1: says the Messiah is going to come in riding on
- 26:55Speaker 1: a donkey. The Pharisees were so stubborn that they couldn't
- 27:00Speaker 1: realize that that prophecy was being fulfilled in front of
- 27:03Speaker 1: their eyes. So we're asking you give a gift, settle
- 27:17Speaker 1: in on the madness, the madness that is the mercy
- 27:21Speaker 1: and grace of God, and that's what it's called Madness
- 27:26Speaker 1: and Mercy.
- 27:28Speaker 2: The other song, much.
- 27:30Speaker 1: More well known, text My Jesus, I Love the to
- 27:36Speaker 1: a new tune, new arrangement way. You've never heard it before,
- 27:42Speaker 1: but it will comfort your heart in a deep and
- 27:45Speaker 1: profound way if you let the Love of Jesus embrace you.
- 27:49Speaker 1: It is a Monday Monday. We will talk with David Fisher.
- 27:51Speaker 7: Next here he is from New York.
- 28:10Speaker 2: That n Kevin McCullough.
- 28:18Speaker 1: All right, welcome, it's Kevin McCullough. It is money Monday,
- 28:22Speaker 1: and so we're going to think about how to use
- 28:24Speaker 1: our resources to protect the legacy that God has given us,
- 28:28Speaker 1: that we've worked for. And David Fisher's back with us
- 28:31Speaker 1: from Landmark Gold and David, it's it's a new week.
- 28:35Speaker 1: We're moving into the second quarter of the year. Recession
- 28:38Speaker 1: is in the news. It seems to be a growing concern.
- 28:41Speaker 1: What triggers it and what are the effects on the markets?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Do you think?
- 28:46Speaker 8: Well, the economists are growing really antsy about this, and
- 28:49Speaker 8: they seemed to be talking quite a bit about it.
- 28:51Speaker 8: Black Rock says a prolonged high oil environment could trigger
- 28:56Speaker 8: a severe global recession. Moody says there's a forty nine
- 28:59Speaker 8: percent chance now a recession in the next twelve months. E. Parthian,
- 29:05Speaker 8: which is a financial firm, says thirty five percent. I
- 29:09Speaker 8: can go on and on. JP Morgan thirty five percent
- 29:12Speaker 8: and others. This is a lot of it has to
- 29:15Speaker 8: do with a couple things. We're talking about the pulling
- 29:19Speaker 8: back of consumers spending. We're talking about less hiring. We're
- 29:26Speaker 8: in like a wage stagnation. Obviously, high oil prices. Oil
- 29:33Speaker 8: is now at one hundred dollars a barrel. It's not
- 29:35Speaker 8: at its all time highs, most recently as one eighteen,
- 29:39Speaker 8: but it's up, you know, seventy five plus percent. That's
- 29:42Speaker 8: a big movement in oil that's causing a big problem.
- 29:46Speaker 8: And the polls out there Gallup Pole negative view of
- 29:50Speaker 8: the future prospect is now being said by Gallup and
- 29:54Speaker 8: there's another one by nerd Wallet done in early March.
- 29:59Speaker 8: Sixty five percent of the respondents say we're going to
- 30:02Speaker 8: have a recession in the next twelve months. So the
- 30:06Speaker 8: unemployment rate is not as low, job growth is slow.
- 30:11Speaker 8: So the key points are the uncertainty of the war
- 30:15Speaker 8: that's going on with Iran, and we're in a low fire,
- 30:19Speaker 8: low higher job market according to CNBC, and employers are
- 30:24Speaker 8: very reluctant to add more jobs because the uncertainty. And
- 30:27Speaker 8: on top of that, Kevin the FED is stuck in
- 30:29Speaker 8: the corner.
- 30:30Speaker 9: We have.
- 30:31Speaker 8: Inflation is above our target range of two percent. It's
- 30:35Speaker 8: continuing to not come down and back. The last report
- 30:38Speaker 8: was not good. Growth is weakening, and there's this threat
- 30:43Speaker 8: of maybe one hundred and thirty hundred and forty dollars oil,
- 30:46Speaker 8: some say two hundred. If we get to the one
- 30:49Speaker 8: thirty level. Four out of five times oil shocks like
- 30:53Speaker 8: this it ends in the recession. So hopefully we'll keep
- 30:56Speaker 8: this around one hundred dollars barrel. And why are we
- 30:59Speaker 8: talking about this because history says when we have an
- 31:02Speaker 8: oil shock, let's go back to the seventies, prices rose
- 31:06Speaker 8: faster than wages. It turned into stag inflation.
- 31:09Speaker 2: We talked about that.
- 31:10Speaker 8: On your program last week. And stocks fail fifty percent.
- 31:13Speaker 8: They call it the lost decade. And what happened to
- 31:16Speaker 8: gold and silver? Gold went up five hundred percent in
- 31:19Speaker 8: five years. Silver went up twice as much as gold.
- 31:22Speaker 8: So the market is viewing there's this risk. It's not eminent,
- 31:27Speaker 8: but it's a real risk that's growing.
- 31:29Speaker 1: The treasury market's red stress light is flashing bright red.
- 31:34Speaker 1: What is that all about?
- 31:35Speaker 8: Yeah, So they reason why we're talking about this is
- 31:38Speaker 8: because this is how we finance our debt. When we overspend,
- 31:42Speaker 8: the treasury issues a treasury bill hoping that the rest
- 31:45Speaker 8: of the world will buy our treasuries. And last year
- 31:48Speaker 8: the dollar went down nine and a half percent, so
- 31:50Speaker 8: an investor has to make nine and a half percent
- 31:54Speaker 8: to break even, and a treasury pays four percent, so
- 31:57Speaker 8: they have a guaranteed loss.
- 31:59Speaker 1: The dollar's not this year.
- 32:00Speaker 8: But there's this obvious idea that we're going to get
- 32:03Speaker 8: back to the fundamentals that the dollar is going to
- 32:05Speaker 8: go down again because the government's not going to stop
- 32:08Speaker 8: spending and the world has come to that conclusion. And
- 32:11Speaker 8: mathematically now we're at the place where were definitely cannot
- 32:15Speaker 8: pay off the debt. But on top of that, there's
- 32:18Speaker 8: a new thing that just happened last week. Iran is
- 32:22Speaker 8: now threatening those entities, institutions, and individuals and hedge funds
- 32:30Speaker 8: that are buying US treasuries and a social media posts,
- 32:34Speaker 8: the Iranians parliament speaker Mohammad Bagdare got a belief said,
- 32:39Speaker 8: US treasury bonds are silked with Iranian's blood. Purchase them,
- 32:43Speaker 8: and you purchase a strike on your assets. Alongside military bases,
- 32:47Speaker 8: those financial entities that finance the utility US military budget
- 32:52Speaker 8: are now legitimate targets. And so we've seen escalation of
- 32:57Speaker 8: missiles being fired and drones in Israel, the golf countries, Kuwait,
- 33:02Speaker 8: United Air Emirates, Saudi Arabian those and then there's a
- 33:06Speaker 8: special person Bob Murphy from Messa's Institute comments and says,
- 33:11Speaker 8: there's lots of countries we're trying to reduce their exposure
- 33:14Speaker 8: to treasuries. They're just trying to figure it out. If
- 33:17Speaker 8: the dollar starts sinking, it's going to sink fast. We're
- 33:20Speaker 8: going to have another crash. It could be five years,
- 33:23Speaker 8: but it's coming. There's no doubt at all.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Now that gold and silver markets have had a brief pullback,
- 33:29Speaker 1: are people buying? Are they buying the dip? Are they
- 33:32Speaker 1: is it? What's the thinking?
- 33:34Speaker 8: Well, you understand gold and silver because you bought from
- 33:37Speaker 8: our company, and a lot of people who have bought
- 33:39Speaker 8: from us before are calling in and repurchasing at these levels.
- 33:43Speaker 8: They see a fire cell going on. This is a
- 33:45Speaker 8: paper sell off that happened here recently in the golden
- 33:48Speaker 8: silver market, but gold and silver is up a year
- 33:51Speaker 8: to date, silver is actually flat. Gold is up five
- 33:54Speaker 8: point seven percent, while stocks are down as much as
- 33:57Speaker 8: almost six percent in indexes in the SMP The Nasdaq's
- 34:01Speaker 8: up almost a percent, but the dowsdown almost five percent.
- 34:06Speaker 8: So gold is still the leading horse in the race.
- 34:09Speaker 8: I'm not saying take all your money out of stocks
- 34:11Speaker 8: and put in gold and silver, but we're headed for
- 34:15Speaker 8: historical precedence. Every time we've had a war breakout, there's
- 34:20Speaker 8: been a pullback in gold, only to find out there's
- 34:24Speaker 8: this massive movement that happens again right during the end
- 34:29Speaker 8: of the World war or when it has a ceasefire.
- 34:33Speaker 8: So we're going to get to the towards the end
- 34:35Speaker 8: of this. Maybe it might be this week, this month,
- 34:37Speaker 8: but you're going to see a big rally in gold
- 34:39Speaker 8: and silver and the pathway for gold. The cru Group
- 34:43Speaker 8: says six thousand dollars today and gold is a forty
- 34:46Speaker 8: six hundred almost forty five sixty eight. So the moral
- 34:50Speaker 8: of the story is only to buy gold by golden weight.
- 34:53Speaker 8: You can roll over your four one k r iri
- 34:55Speaker 8: into physical gold and silver.
- 34:57Speaker 1: By the dip. It really does work. All the years
- 35:00Speaker 1: I've known David, Gold's never gone down. Colt's never lost
- 35:04Speaker 1: money at the end of any of the years I've
- 35:06Speaker 1: known you, David. So that's that's pretty remarkable. Landmark, goold

- 36:12Speaker 1: It's Holy Weak Special week. The show is going to
- 36:16Speaker 1: be very different. We're going to talk very heavily about
- 36:20Speaker 1: the reality of Jesus and what he did. And Friend,
- 36:23Speaker 1: I'm not going to give up. I'm not going to
- 36:26Speaker 1: give up until you understand for yourself how unique and
- 36:29Speaker 1: special you are, because it takes someone who loves you
- 36:34Speaker 1: very much to be willing to do what he did.
- 36:37Speaker 1: It did not look like what was normal, It did
- 36:39Speaker 1: not come from a place that was expected. What Jesus
- 36:43Speaker 1: did in this week, all those many years ago, stands
- 36:48Speaker 1: as history's greatest suffering and greatest liberation. And a lot
- 36:53Speaker 1: of people say, would say, friend, that that just sounds crazy,
- 36:58Speaker 1: that there's a madness to that that doesn't make sense.
- 37:01Speaker 1: And that's what I wrote this song about. Gavin McCullough.
- 37:05Speaker 1: This is tea collective. It's called Madman. Take a listen, the.
- 37:19Speaker 10: Strangers in the air, helpless voices crying out, transforming change

- 38:43Speaker 2: This, he's an awkward old.
- 38:45Speaker 10: Last I'm little man following the man whose madness, Man.
- 38:58Speaker 6: Of Shame.
- 39:44Speaker 1: It looked like craziness to everybody that was around. It
- 39:47Speaker 1: looked insane to other people.
- 39:48Speaker 4: It was not.
- 39:50Speaker 1: It was not what you know, any of us would
- 39:54Speaker 1: probably have figured would be done. And yet in all
- 39:59Speaker 1: the that he took and all of the suffering that
- 40:02Speaker 1: he went through, he bore it all so that we
- 40:05Speaker 1: could have it all. That's Jay Lorman, Alison Taylor, the
- 40:11Speaker 1: rest of the Tea collective, including yours truly. It's called Madman.
- 40:17Speaker 1: It's on a brand new EP. We're gonna We're gonna

- 41:05Speaker 2: Of course, that Kevin Show is going to be great.
- 41:07Speaker 15: The only thing that could be greater, of course, to

- 41:58Speaker 2: The man who is not what.
- 41:59Speaker 1: He wants to but is way grateful that is not
- 42:03Speaker 1: who he used to be.
- 42:05Speaker 8: Here.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Welcome Inn Kevin McCalla.
- 42:11Speaker 5: I let have you with us.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I couldn't be happier to have you with us than
- 42:14Speaker 1: actually to just know that you're there, and especially on
- 42:17Speaker 1: this special week, the week of Holy Week, is something
- 42:21Speaker 1: that in my own Christian walk has become something that
- 42:25Speaker 1: I actually earmark on the calendar is big, if not
- 42:28Speaker 1: more so than Christmas. And part of it is friend
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm just burdened for people that don't know Jesus to
- 42:36Speaker 1: know him. I actually believe that there is a God.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I actually believe that that God's existence matters, and that
- 42:45Speaker 1: what he has to say about our existence is really important.
- 42:50Speaker 1: It's one of the reasons why I'm so happy that
- 42:52Speaker 1: Openthebible dot org has partnered with us this week to
- 42:57Speaker 1: help present a one hour film and a two hour
- 43:00Speaker 1: radio drama called Open the Bible Heaven, How I Got
- 43:04Speaker 1: Here the story of the Thief on the Cross And
- 43:06Speaker 1: if you watch my TV show this coming weekend on
- 43:09Speaker 1: Salem News Channel or biz TV, you'll see the film.
- 43:13Speaker 1: But long before that, you can see it for yourself
- 43:16Speaker 1: and invite other friends to see it. If you will
- 43:18Speaker 1: just go to that Kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven, that
- 43:23Speaker 1: kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven, and what will happen when
- 43:28Speaker 1: you get there is you can put in your information
- 43:32Speaker 1: and we will send back to you directly a little
- 43:35Speaker 1: WatchKit what we call a WatchKit, and it has the
- 43:40Speaker 1: trailer to the film It has the film, a link
- 43:45Speaker 1: to the film itself, and it has some study questions
- 43:49Speaker 1: that we want to offer you so that you can
- 43:53Speaker 1: so that you can not only watch it for yourself,
- 43:55Speaker 1: but then also invite your friends to watch it and
- 43:59Speaker 1: to maybe have a discussion with them about what it
- 44:02Speaker 1: all means when it's all done. The reason that we
- 44:06Speaker 1: want to do that is because this is the time
- 44:09Speaker 1: of year when you have an incredible opportunity to have
- 44:14Speaker 1: the entire nation kind of leaning in, putting their ear
- 44:18Speaker 1: towards you, saying what is this Holy Week story all about?
- 44:23Speaker 1: And you can actually use this tool to answer that
- 44:28Speaker 1: question for them. So go to heaven how I Got Here?
- 44:31Speaker 1: Go to that kevinshow dot com backslash heaven, that kevinshow
- 44:35Speaker 1: dot com backslash heaven, And if you forget the exact
- 44:41Speaker 1: sequence of that URL, you can just go to the
- 44:44Speaker 1: promotions page and click Heaven how I Got Here. You
- 44:47Speaker 1: can watch the film personally. You can host a watch
- 44:50Speaker 1: event with friends and family, even your church, your small group,
- 44:53Speaker 1: your Sunday school class. You can lead a discussion group
- 44:57Speaker 1: using the study questions, and just go and request the
- 45:03Speaker 1: watch kit for yourself. You'll get streaming access instructions for
- 45:06Speaker 1: the film, the downloadable discussion guide, and some ready to
- 45:11Speaker 1: use invite tools, even some sample messages for your social
- 45:15Speaker 1: media or whatever, if you want to do it that way.
- 45:17Speaker 1: But I would just desperately, earnestly ask you to please
- 45:21Speaker 1: go to that kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven and download
- 45:23Speaker 1: your watch kit and then be planning on who you're
- 45:25Speaker 1: gonna watch this film with. It's a one act It's
- 45:29Speaker 1: a one actor play that's done in one act. It's
- 45:35Speaker 1: about an hour long. The actor is Stephen Baldwin and
- 45:38Speaker 1: he portrayed this character on stage probably about twelve years ago.
- 45:44Speaker 1: But it is the one man's story of the thief,
- 45:48Speaker 1: telling the entire story of what happened to him the
- 45:50Speaker 1: day that Jesus was crucified. Now that's just one of
- 45:55Speaker 1: the things we have for you this week. There's something
- 45:57Speaker 1: else I want you to be aware of. Are entering
- 46:00Speaker 1: the final stretch of our time with food for the Poor,
- 46:05Speaker 1: and I've been so excited and so encouraged by how
- 46:09Speaker 1: so many of you have responded and said, you know,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I want to help the children that are hungry. I
- 46:15Speaker 1: don't want them to be hungry anymore. I want them
- 46:19Speaker 1: to know, to know how important it is that this
- 46:25Speaker 1: Jesus that we're talking about, that we love, that rose
- 46:27Speaker 1: from the dead this week is real, and I want
- 46:33Speaker 1: it to be by their side, and I want to
- 46:36Speaker 1: do everything I can to feed them and to help
- 46:41Speaker 1: them know this reality. I will tell you this much.
- 46:46Speaker 1: We have been blown away by your generosity, but we
- 46:49Speaker 1: want to keep being blown away. Right now, let me
- 46:53Speaker 1: just give you the latest. We are forty six kids
- 46:58Speaker 1: away from hitting the goal of seven hundred and twenty
- 47:01Speaker 1: kids for the next year that will be fed two
- 47:07Speaker 1: meals a day and clean drinking water for the foreseeable future,
- 47:10Speaker 1: probably as long as they live at least ten to
- 47:14Speaker 1: twenty years. The water filtration systems have a very long
- 47:17Speaker 1: shelf life. Seventy five dollars per child helps one of
- 47:21Speaker 1: those children and friends. For anyone making a gift of
- 47:27Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty dollars or more this week, we
- 47:31Speaker 1: are going to send you a complimentary copy of The
- 47:35Speaker 1: Tea Collective's Madness and Mercy EP, two songs kind of
- 47:41Speaker 1: designed to help you narrow your thoughts about Holy Week
- 47:46Speaker 1: onto what you want to do. And I will just
- 47:50Speaker 1: tell you that if one person wanted to do the
- 47:53Speaker 1: remaining amount, thirty five hundred dollars would cover all forty
- 47:59Speaker 1: six of those children. But if you can't any size
- 48:02Speaker 1: gift seventy five helps one, one hundred and fifty helps two,
- 48:08Speaker 1: would you consider right now doing that for the benefit
- 48:12Speaker 1: of these of these children. I don't want to get
- 48:14Speaker 1: to the end of this campaign and say, hey, we
- 48:18Speaker 1: were going for seven hundred and twenty and we got
- 48:20Speaker 1: to seven hundred and ten. No, we are far from
- 48:26Speaker 1: being satisfied here. We're at six hundred and eighty something
- 48:29Speaker 1: kids that we've taken care of. But will you help
- 48:32Speaker 1: us get across the goal line? Could we get across
- 48:34Speaker 1: the goal line today with forty six kids, that's twenty
- 48:38Speaker 1: three of you doing a one time gift of one
- 48:40Speaker 1: hundred and fifty dollars one time, one time gift, and
- 48:44Speaker 1: then that child eats. Those two children eat two meals
- 48:48Speaker 1: a day and have clean drinking water for the foreseeable
- 48:52Speaker 1: future two meals per day. By the way, that guarantees
- 48:55Speaker 1: them fourteen hundred and sixty meals over the next year.
- 49:01Speaker 1: You want to do a tangible something good for Holy Week?
- 49:05Speaker 1: This is it feed a kid host to watch party.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Make a difference in your world. I'm gonna say it again.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Feed a kid host to watch party, make a difference
- 49:16Speaker 1: in your world. We'll send you the movie. We'll send
- 49:20Speaker 1: you a little music EP you can get on Spotify,
- 49:24Speaker 1: Apple or YouTube. It doesn't matter. We'll send you whatever
- 49:27Speaker 1: works for you. But make this week, this holy week,
- 49:32Speaker 1: a week of spiritual generation, physical healing and feeding and
- 49:40Speaker 1: spiritual renewal in your own heart. Spiritual formation in someone
- 49:44Speaker 1: else's life because you introduce them to Jesus, physical formation
- 49:49Speaker 1: in a child's life because you feed them for the
- 49:51Speaker 1: next year, and in your own heart. God does his
- 49:55Speaker 1: surgery with you and you become even more who He
- 49:58Speaker 1: has you to be, who He wants you could be friends.
- 50:01Speaker 2: That's pretty cool. Let's do it.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Host a watch party, feed a kid, change the world
- 50:08Speaker 1: this healthy week.
- 50:10Speaker 15: Can we do that?
- 50:11Speaker 1: I think I think we can go to go to
- 50:13Speaker 1: that kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven for the watch kit.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Call eight five five nine oh seven four six seven
- 50:20Speaker 1: three to give your gift for food for the poor
- 50:22Speaker 1: eight fivey five nine zero seven four six seven three
- 50:25Speaker 1: eight fivey five nine zero seven four six seven three
- 50:29Speaker 1: eight fivey five nine zero seven four six seven three
- 50:32Speaker 1: and give your gift as generously as you can to
- 50:34Speaker 1: help children. This Holy Kevin mckella coming.
- 50:37Speaker 5: Right back here.
- 50:53Speaker 2: He is from New York, That Kevin.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Kevin mckella, Welcome back to Times Square. It's that Kevin show,
- 51:05Speaker 1: that kevinshow dot com for all things related. We never
- 51:09Speaker 1: put anything behind the paywall. We want you to have
- 51:11Speaker 1: access to it one thousand percent. And if you've been
- 51:14Speaker 1: hearing me talk about your WatchKit for this week, we
- 51:19Speaker 1: are here Holy week.
- 51:20Speaker 2: It's time.
- 51:21Speaker 1: It's time to unleash. It's time to unleash the prisoner.
- 51:26Speaker 1: If you will heaven, how I Got here, the story
- 51:30Speaker 1: of the Thief on the Cross, the movie, the trailer,
- 51:34Speaker 1: the study questions, they're all in one little pack, and
- 51:38Speaker 1: we have it for you. If you go to that
- 51:39Speaker 1: kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven, or you go on the site,
- 51:42Speaker 1: you can click the link, but just click on there,
- 51:45Speaker 1: stick your email in. We're going to send you back
- 51:47Speaker 1: electronically the trailer to the film, the film itself, and
- 51:51Speaker 1: also the study questions. And our ask is real simple.
- 51:54Speaker 1: We want you to watch it and we want you
- 51:56Speaker 1: to ask and invite friends to watch it with you,
- 51:59Speaker 1: because this is the most I think it's My opinion
- 52:02Speaker 1: could be wrong. I think it's the most powerful presentation
- 52:05Speaker 1: of the Gospel in scripture itself. A man who could
- 52:08Speaker 1: do nothing to save himself of any way, being remembered
- 52:13Speaker 1: by Jesus and most likely being the very first person
- 52:18Speaker 1: to put his faith in Christ in his death, in
- 52:22Speaker 1: his sufficiency of his death to experience Heaven with him.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Here to discuss a little bit further is Pastor Colin Smith,
- 52:29Speaker 1: who is the president and head of Openthebible dot org,
- 52:34Speaker 1: and he's got a brand new book that is kind
- 52:36Speaker 1: of cool and a new little program he's been running
- 52:39Speaker 1: around the UK with for the last couple of weeks.
- 52:41Speaker 1: But I just got to see him at n RB
- 52:42Speaker 1: a couple of weeks ago and it was such a delight. Colin,
- 52:46Speaker 1: welcome back. It's been about a year since you were
- 52:49Speaker 1: with us the last time, and it's always good to
- 52:50Speaker 1: see you.
- 52:51Speaker 16: Yeah, I think exactly a year because it would have
- 52:53Speaker 16: been the week before Easter. And it's always a joy
- 52:56Speaker 16: to be on your program. Kevin, thanks for having me
- 52:58Speaker 16: on today.
- 53:00Speaker 1: To the very genesis of the sermon that you preached
- 53:05Speaker 1: on the thief and what God did in your heart
- 53:08Speaker 1: when you were preparing that message. Because this has literally
- 53:11Speaker 1: become from that one sermon so many different things, and
- 53:16Speaker 1: it's spreading the Gospel in so many different ways. But
- 53:19Speaker 1: what was the genesis of it?
- 53:21Speaker 16: Well, I think you said it earlier. I'm absolutely convinced
- 53:25Speaker 16: that this is the best and clearest and most compelling
- 53:29Speaker 16: story that we have in all of the Bible for
- 53:31Speaker 16: helping a person to understand grace. And what was so
- 53:36Speaker 16: gripping to me when I was working on that initial
- 53:39Speaker 16: sermon was that most people, I think, have the idea
- 53:43Speaker 16: that if a person was to get to Heaven, they
- 53:46Speaker 16: would get there by living a good enough life. And clearly,
- 53:49Speaker 16: this story just blows that out of the water. Here's
- 53:53Speaker 16: a man who has not lived a good life. He's
- 53:55Speaker 16: at the end of his life. He can't turn over
- 53:57Speaker 16: a new leaf, can't do any of these things, and
- 54:00Speaker 16: yet Jesus amazingly promises this man who's clearly on the
- 54:04Speaker 16: brink of hell that he's going to have a new
- 54:07Speaker 16: life in heaven.
- 54:08Speaker 12: Today.
- 54:08Speaker 16: You will be with me in Paradise. And that is
- 54:11Speaker 16: just so compelling. I think it opens up the question
- 54:14Speaker 16: in people's minds. Well, clearly he did not get into
- 54:18Speaker 16: heaven by living a good enough life. So how did
- 54:21Speaker 16: he get into heaven? That takes us to grace and
- 54:24Speaker 16: to what we can find in the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 54:27Speaker 16: And that's why that story has been so compelling to me.
- 54:30Speaker 1: You've there is this still, there's still to this day,
- 54:33Speaker 1: this stigma. A couple of stigmas. One that Christians somehow
- 54:37Speaker 1: know it all and are better than everybody else, and
- 54:39Speaker 1: so because they think they have it all figured out,
- 54:43Speaker 1: obviously I can't measure up to that, so I just
- 54:45Speaker 1: give up. The other part is this I've been too
- 54:49Speaker 1: bad and I've gone too far and there's no way
- 54:51Speaker 1: that God could reach all the way down to where
- 54:53Speaker 1: I am for the things that I've done. And the
- 54:56Speaker 1: truth is that these are both really false assumption. First
- 55:00Speaker 1: of all, Christians aren't not a alls that get it
- 55:03Speaker 1: all right, We were sinners. We had to be sinners
- 55:05Speaker 1: to get into the club. You can't get in the
- 55:07Speaker 1: club without being a sinner. And secondly, there's no sin
- 55:10Speaker 1: too far gone.
- 55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 55:13Speaker 16: And to acknowledge that you are a sinner, I mean,
- 55:17Speaker 16: I think that's where Anyone who thinks that they're high
- 55:21Speaker 16: and mighty above everyone else really hasn't grasped the gospel
- 55:25Speaker 16: of God's marvelous grace. The starting point of it really
- 55:29Speaker 16: is that we acknowledge our own need. And that's one
- 55:31Speaker 16: of the things that the thief did. He says to
- 55:35Speaker 16: the other thief, and the two of them at first
- 55:38Speaker 16: had been hurtling all kinds of abuse and insults at Jesus.
- 55:42Speaker 16: But then there was a change in this man's mind
- 55:45Speaker 16: and heart, and he said to the other thief, we
- 55:48Speaker 16: are getting what our deeds deserve. So there's some real
- 55:52Speaker 16: acknowledging there of not being in a right position before
- 55:58Speaker 16: God and of not being able to solve it ourselves.
- 56:02Speaker 16: That that's the beginning point or the starting point of
- 56:05Speaker 16: faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. So anyone who is
- 56:09Speaker 16: really a Christian knows what it is to be humbled
- 56:12Speaker 16: and to recognize that we can't depend on having lived
- 56:17Speaker 16: a good enough life, and that we have to depend
- 56:21Speaker 16: on what Jesus alone is able to give to us.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Yeah, friends, today, if you're listening and you're thinking, well,
- 56:27Speaker 1: I don't I don't think that I want Jesus because
- 56:30Speaker 1: I don't like Jesus's people. If you're if you're upset
- 56:34Speaker 1: with hypocrites, if you're upset with people that blow it,
- 56:36Speaker 1: if you're Jesus was upset by all that same stuff,
- 56:40Speaker 1: It's it's hard to reject him when when the same
- 56:43Speaker 1: things disappoint him that disappoint you. So my encouragement would
- 56:45Speaker 1: be try him, reach out to him, see what he
- 56:49Speaker 1: has to offer, which is what the thief does. The
- 56:52Speaker 1: thief kind of after he says, you know, we get
- 56:56Speaker 1: what we deserve, you point out getting what we deserve
- 56:59Speaker 1: is good for nobody.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Yep. Yeah, there's no hope in that.
- 57:04Speaker 16: I mean, a message that simply reap what you saw
- 57:07Speaker 16: leaves a person at the end of the line without
- 57:11Speaker 16: any hope and without any possibility.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Of forgiveness, mercy and grace.
- 57:16Speaker 16: But I think one of the things that would have
- 57:18Speaker 16: touched the thief really deeply is that because he was
- 57:22Speaker 16: crucified with Jesus, he would have heard Jesus say the words, Father,
- 57:28Speaker 16: forgive them. They do not know what they are doing.
- 57:31Speaker 16: Jesus said that as he was being nailed to the cross.
- 57:35Speaker 16: And I wonder therefore, if the thief, having heard that,
- 57:38Speaker 16: didn't figure these things together and say, boy, if he
- 57:42Speaker 16: could offer forgiveness even to the people who nailed him
- 57:46Speaker 16: to the cross, then maybe he can offer forgiveness to me.
- 57:50Speaker 16: And so he reaches out to Jesus and he asked, Jesus,
- 57:53Speaker 16: will you remember me when you come into your kingdom, which,
- 57:56Speaker 16: by the way, seems to indicate that he recognized that
- 57:59Speaker 16: Jesus was a king and that there really is a
- 58:01Speaker 16: future life, and that Jesus is going to be in
- 58:03Speaker 16: charge of who gets into it. So all of these
- 58:06Speaker 16: things are there.
- 58:06Speaker 1: There's only yeah, he got theological quickly.
- 58:09Speaker 11: Oh he did.
- 58:10Speaker 16: He really grasped the things that any person needs to
- 58:12Speaker 16: grasp in order to be saved. I'm a sinner. Jesus
- 58:15Speaker 16: is a king, he has a kingdom, He forgives, and
- 58:19Speaker 16: if I reach out to him, I might find some
- 58:21Speaker 16: hope in him. And of course the promise of Jesus
- 58:23Speaker 16: indicates that that's exactly what happened.
- 58:26Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Friends, we have been praying for this, the whole ministry
- 58:30Speaker 1: of Open the Bible. Everybody on my team, my small
- 58:34Speaker 1: group other people have been praying that you would do
- 58:37Speaker 1: a couple of things this Holy Week. You would download
- 58:41Speaker 1: or go and request to watch kit, download the trailer,
- 58:44Speaker 1: watch the movie, look at the study questions, Invite people
- 58:48Speaker 1: to come watch it with you. Maybe you go to
- 58:50Speaker 1: their house and you pull it up on their TV
- 58:53Speaker 1: or whatever. But like, get people together. We've been asking
- 58:57Speaker 1: you to think of people to invite, to do this
- 58:59Speaker 1: very thing that God would put people on your heart.
- 59:02Speaker 1: And if you have not yet done it, there's still
- 59:04Speaker 1: plenty of time. We're just at the beginning of Holy Week.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Go to that kevinshow dot com backslash Heaven, request the
- 59:11Speaker 1: watch kit, request the film. We will send it to
- 59:13Speaker 1: you almost immediately. You'll get it by return email. And
- 59:17Speaker 1: then make this week pray about who you're supposed to invite,
- 59:22Speaker 1: and then invite them. Don't just pray and well I'm
- 59:24Speaker 1: praying about No, You've got to do the actual inviting
- 59:27Speaker 1: and then be prepared to talk with them once it's done,
- 59:31Speaker 1: when it's over, run through some of the questions, or
- 59:34Speaker 1: just say hey, what did you think about what you saw?
- 59:37Speaker 1: God will give you the words. The Holy Spirit is
- 59:39Speaker 1: never short on being able to supply answers to people
- 59:43Speaker 1: that are looking for them. And I would encourage you
- 59:46Speaker 1: to make this week a week in which you do that,
- 59:49Speaker 1: and friends, if we do that, if we do that,
- 59:51Speaker 1: I believe more than a million people can be invited.
- 59:55Speaker 1: More than a million people can view this film. More
- 59:58Speaker 1: than a million people could see Jesus for the very
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: first moment of their life and have the rest of
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: their lives to understand what it is to know Him
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: and to follow him and to walk with him. Pastor Colin,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: what's your prayer this week as you're going into the
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: very familiar surroundings of Holy Week.
- 1:00:17Speaker 16: Well, exactly what you have just said there, Kevin. I mean,
- 1:00:21Speaker 16: we've been doing this in partnership together now for several years,
- 1:00:25Speaker 16: and so you know as I do that, the response
- 1:00:28Speaker 16: to this in past years has been absolutely marvelous. I
- 1:00:31Speaker 16: mean pages and pages and pages of emails of people
- 1:00:34Speaker 16: who've been moved and been touched by this very simple presentation,
- 1:00:39Speaker 16: a one hour film of the story of the Thief
- 1:00:41Speaker 16: on the Cross, and it's been on your heart and
- 1:00:44Speaker 16: on my heart that we really set a stretch goal
- 1:00:47Speaker 16: this year, and your prayer and my prayer that we
- 1:00:51Speaker 16: would see a million people see this and the people
- 1:00:54Speaker 16: would be deeply touched, and that some would come to
- 1:00:56Speaker 16: faith in Christ. That's a marvelous vision, and it's wonderful
- 1:00:59Speaker 16: to be partnership together to invite God's people to act
- 1:01:04Speaker 16: on this, to seize this opportunity, and to see what
- 1:01:07Speaker 16: God will do with this presentation of the marvelous truth
- 1:01:10Speaker 16: of God's grace.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: That's what we're all praying for. Pastor Colin Smith, open
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: the Bible dot org. Thank you for all that you're doing,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and we're praying that God will just make himself known
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: to many people this year because of these efforts.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Thanks.
- 1:01:22Speaker 16: It's a joy to be in partnership with you, Kevin,
- 1:01:24Speaker 16: Appreciate you.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Kevin McCulloch coming right back from Times Squared.
- 1:01:28Speaker 17: Uncle Way, let's stick around for more of than Kevin.
- 1:01:35Speaker 17: Next here he is from New York fact Ken Kevin.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: McCullough, Welcome back to Times Square. It's Kevin McCullough, that
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Kevin Show, that kevinshow dot com. And even though I
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: am taking a large chunk of this week to focus
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: exclusively on the reflection around what these days mean, especially
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: to me personally, but also to what I feel like
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: is the welfare of humanity, we're not going to ignore
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: the news completely. So I want to I want to
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: welcome back PhD. Doctor Jacob Oladord, who I have not
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: ever once introduced by his proper title, and Jacob, I'm
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: sorry about that, but you're very very modest, you know,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: self deflecting guy. I appreciate the mannerisms and everything, but
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: you're you're knowledgeable, and I want people to appreciate that
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: about what you've done. And it happens to be in
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: the area that we talk about a lot, which is
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: the Middle East and what's going on there.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Where are we with it?
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: Ron it's been several weeks. I kind of feel like
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: we're going to be done before we know it here
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: pretty soon. But there's a lot of speculation by a
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: lot of people about this turning into a forever war
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: and so forth. So just from your educated perspective, what
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: does it look like to you on the ground.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: It's always wonderful to be with you, Kevin, and you're
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: very kind to say so. But obviously I know my place,
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: and so I'm very happy to be a student of
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: the Middle East well to learn. But look, I think
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: it's it's an important inflection point, and I think, you know,
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: I think Brett Stevens had a very good characterization of
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: it last week. I think it was in Your Times
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: where he said if past generations looked at our present
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: success as they would marvel at how well our military
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: is doing and actually even say how how lack of
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: appreciation we have for just the successes we've had.
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: But I think the obvious question, as you raised, is there,
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: and you know, if we're doing so well, then how
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: much longer do we need to be doing this? And
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: what is it actually that we're working towards? And I
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: think you know the answer really is I think you're right.
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: I think this may be over. I mean what soon
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: means is obviously hard to tell, but I think we're
- 1:04:01Speaker 4: trying to set the conditions on the ground ultimately where
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: we don't have to go back and again, where we
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: don't have any further problems that require such attention military
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: attention from the least from the United States.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I kind of see two buckets of problems that we
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: haven't solved completely yet, and that is, do we have
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: a chain of command government for them that we can
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: work with, that the President will be able to be
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: loyal to. And I kind of feel like we haven't
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: found that person yet in Iran. But I feel like
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: we're probably getting close. Problem number two is we have
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: to get the uranium. The uranium has got to be expunged,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: and I think you can't do that from the air,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: So right, US Israel who goes in there and gets it?
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: And how do we pull it out? And you know, yet,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I feel like if we got that out of their
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: possession and we had a chain of command that we
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: could work with that was willing to take over stewardship,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I would I think that. I think that we're done.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I think those are the last two steps.
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: I think you're exactly right. And look, I mean, you
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: know that's kind of the elephant in the room, this
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: question about boots on the ground or you know, not
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: only doing it from the air.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: What does it look like.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: I think there's reasonable concerns about what that is. You know,
- 1:05:06Speaker 4: we have a lot of well well founded trauma and
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: associations with those types of scenarios. But I did think
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: that on Fox News that was pretty well said by
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: Johnny Joe. I think it was you know, a veteran
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: of both Iraq and Afghanistan who lost both legs in combat.
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: He said, look, I'm against this, I'm torn about this,
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: but if it happens. The President has the right, he
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: has a strong record of protecting the American people, and
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: I just want to make sure that if we do this,
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: we do it to get the objective done, in this case,
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: getting the uranium out, and let's call it a day.
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: We don't want to be nation building, and I obviously
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: don't think that's what we're about at all here. I
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: think it's just about that, you know, finishing that that
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: last mile, as it were in football, just getting that
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: done and really eradicating the threat. And as you said,
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: some of that needs to be done with more than
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: just air power. So I think that's well.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I don't think you can extract uranium from their deep,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: deep underground bunkers and you know, from the air, so
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: and I'm pretty sure I just I'm just kind of
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: gut guessing at this point, but I'm I feel like
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Masad probably knows where most of it is. We obviously
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: knew that, you know, what we did last June hit
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: some significant operations of what their nuclear program was. But
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: by no means did anybody think that all of the
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: uranium was in one place and that whatever they want
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to enrich if they just if they wait out their time,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: and they say, well, you know, the Americans won't be
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: here forever. They think, well, we'll just get away with it.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: We've got to we've got to we've got to take
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: the toy away from the toddler.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: I think that's exactly right. And look, we're not at
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: this alone, you know. Obviously, as you said, these realities
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: have this intelligence, the precision of the weapons. We also
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: have our allies in the golf as well. Who are
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: all I mean, this is part of the President's objective
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: in the Middle East, but also in foreign policy in general,
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: make our partners take ownership of their regions that we
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: don't have to, and I think we're seeing that in
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: real time. The UAE even have the Japanese come out
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: and say they'll provide mind sweepers and rate So I
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: think this is That's what when I say conditions on
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: the ground, you know, it's not so much about the
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: regime in Iran itself, which I think nobody's under any
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: illusions that these are doing in good faith or have
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: any other motive. But I think we are seeing a
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: new Middle East take shape with all of our partners
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: having the confidence because of the successes the US has
- 1:07:18Speaker 4: shown take ownership and stand for it for their region,
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: and I think that's going to be a great long
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: term in state.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: I think the only way the region maintains stability is
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to have a check and balance between you know, the
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Saudis and the Iranians and people that dislike each other.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: There has to be some degree of of There cannot
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: be a dominant that domineers over everyone else, because that's
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: what basically Iran has been doing and it's and they
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: turned into the worst tear state on planet Earth. We've
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: got to We've got to be cautious, but we've also
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: got to you know, finish the job and then hopefully,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: hopefully the President has the plan to bring them home soon.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I don't want to see this go on for one
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: day longer than necessary, but I do think that we've
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: done a good thing here, and I think you're right.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: The realignment and the remaking of the entire world because
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: of this is going to be something that they're going
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to write about in history books. I mean, our grandkids
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: are going to have to read, you know, about the
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: greatness of this campaign because of just how exceptional it's been.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Doctor Jacob Olidor, thank you for being with us as always.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Thank you, Happy Easter, you and your family, and to
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: you as well.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Kevin McCullough coming right back. Don't go Wayne.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: Here he is from New York. Ken Kevin McCullough.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: All right, welcome back, Kevin mcpella. Happy Monday to you.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: It is money Monday, and that means we take a
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: look at things that impact your earnings and your savings
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: and your investment and how you can be better protecting
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: of those things, leaving them as a legacy for people
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: after you, or helping them grow in the process. Hillary
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Kramer's back with us. She helps us every week with this,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: and Hillary, this is an interesting kind of moment in
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: the investment calendar. But you're saying today there are some
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: falling knives, which you don't normally suggest that we try
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to catch, you saying there are some that may may
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: be worth the risk right now.
- 1:09:38Speaker 15: That's absolutely the case.
- 1:09:40Speaker 14: So always keep in mind that expression. Don't try to
- 1:09:43Speaker 14: catch a falling life, don't try to catch a falling knife.
- 1:09:45Speaker 14: But sometimes, like for example, last April, when I picked
- 1:09:49Speaker 14: up I picked up four stocks last April that ended
- 1:09:53Speaker 14: up jumping back, including I picked up some extra Nvidia
- 1:09:57Speaker 14: and I made a good sixty percent on it.
- 1:10:00Speaker 15: Sure it wasn't a one thousand percent return, but it
- 1:10:03Speaker 15: was just beautiful. So we're in a position where we're
- 1:10:06Speaker 15: we're in a state of war.
- 1:10:08Speaker 14: We have price of oil that has impacted us at
- 1:10:12Speaker 14: the pump. All the transportation industries are reeling in pain,
- 1:10:16Speaker 14: not just airlines, you know, not just cargo.
- 1:10:20Speaker 15: Across the board.
- 1:10:22Speaker 14: And then we have all of the chemical plant you know,
- 1:10:25Speaker 14: think of the chemicals that are part of the supply
- 1:10:28Speaker 14: chain that go into so many of our end products,
- 1:10:32Speaker 14: whether it be paint or our windex.
- 1:10:35Speaker 15: That we use, or I mean just just across the board,
- 1:10:38Speaker 15: or just in terms of industrial use.
- 1:10:40Speaker 14: So what I'm what I'm prefacing here is let's jump
- 1:10:43Speaker 14: in and look at those companies that have just fallen
- 1:10:46Speaker 14: out of bed because we are in a war five
- 1:10:49Speaker 14: weeks into a war that we know we're going to
- 1:10:52Speaker 14: come out of, and we know the stock market is
- 1:10:54Speaker 14: going to get go high again. And that's why let's
- 1:10:56Speaker 14: start with Zebra Technologies, which I've talked about over the
- 1:10:59Speaker 14: U year. Zb are a two hundred dollars at a
- 1:11:03Speaker 14: fifty two week low today, only a nine billion dollar
- 1:11:07Speaker 14: market cap company, but a company that impacts our life,
- 1:11:10Speaker 14: all of us, all of the time. Based in Lincolnshire, Illinois,
- 1:11:14Speaker 14: shout out for Illinois today, and Zebra is your RFID company.
- 1:11:19Speaker 15: Zebra puts the little device.
- 1:11:22Speaker 14: That's the pinhead device onto the cows, so by the
- 1:11:25Speaker 14: time you eat your hamburger, you'll know where that cow
- 1:11:28Speaker 14: was born, who its parents were, and who owns the farm.
- 1:11:31Speaker 15: Okay, so that'll tell you everything you need to know.
- 1:11:34Speaker 14: So RFID stands for radio frequency identification devices RTLS is
- 1:11:40Speaker 14: real time location systems, which is what helps when there's
- 1:11:44Speaker 14: a problem on the supply side and on the supply chain,
- 1:11:48Speaker 14: especially in the consumer side, to know and identify immediately
- 1:11:52Speaker 14: if there's a recall that's needed. In addition to the
- 1:11:56Speaker 14: data that it captures, you the automated data and which
- 1:12:01Speaker 14: allows for such computing and optimization of so many different
- 1:12:04Speaker 14: solutions that are needed. So Zbra at two hundred dollars,
- 1:12:09Speaker 14: we're talking about a stock that in one year, it's
- 1:12:12Speaker 14: down twenty nine.
- 1:12:13Speaker 15: Percent in the last fifty two weeks. The low was
- 1:12:17Speaker 15: today two hundred dollars.
- 1:12:19Speaker 14: The high was on July thirty first, twenty twenty five,
- 1:12:22Speaker 14: at three hundred and fifty.
- 1:12:23Speaker 15: Two dollars, So Zebra, buy your ZBR.
- 1:12:27Speaker 14: Another one I want everyone to be thinking about is
- 1:12:31Speaker 14: Biohan BHVM. Biohan is just again another one that's just
- 1:12:38Speaker 14: been taken out to the woodshed. Small company one point
- 1:12:41Speaker 14: two billion dollar market cap, specializes in neuroscience neurology. One
- 1:12:49Speaker 14: of their most important proprietary drugs works on migraines. But
- 1:12:55Speaker 14: they also have drugs which I remember recently talking to
- 1:12:58Speaker 14: you about that is working on everything from obsessive compulsive
- 1:13:02Speaker 14: disorder to neuromuscular issues as well as even.
- 1:13:08Speaker 15: In the area of autism.
- 1:13:10Speaker 14: And the company's just done really poorly a year to date,
- 1:13:14Speaker 14: meaning in three months the stock's down twenty nine percent.
- 1:13:18Speaker 14: Bah to v n B as in boy, H, is
- 1:13:21Speaker 14: in Heaven, v as in Victor, and is in Nancy
- 1:13:24Speaker 14: at eight dollars. This stock is going to be back
- 1:13:27Speaker 14: up at twelve thirty, twelve dollars or thirteen dollars before long. Okay,
- 1:13:31Speaker 14: So you really really want to be want to be
- 1:13:36Speaker 14: there in Biohaven as a biotechnology company. Another one that
- 1:13:42Speaker 14: I absolutely love that has come off not sharply but
- 1:13:46Speaker 14: again during this time period of war is Omega Healthcare
- 1:13:51Speaker 14: Investors OHI.
- 1:13:52Speaker 15: I love Omega.
- 1:13:53Speaker 14: It's a stock that I have for my parents. I
- 1:13:56Speaker 14: don't usually talk about Kevin. How often have I've even
- 1:13:59Speaker 14: mentioned those words?
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: I have not lot, that's for sure, No, I don't.
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: Really.
- 1:14:02Speaker 15: It's actually for my mother.
- 1:14:05Speaker 14: The divid and yield is six percent, and I bought Omega,
- 1:14:09Speaker 14: you know, at forty four dollars. I think I picked
- 1:14:11Speaker 14: it up for her years ago at like around twenty
- 1:14:14Speaker 14: two dollars or twenty three dollars, so she's almost doubled
- 1:14:19Speaker 14: her money. But the point is the six percent dividend yield.
- 1:14:22Speaker 14: And what Omega does is it's a baby boomer stock.
- 1:14:26Speaker 14: Baby boomer in the sense that that they they operate rehabing,
- 1:14:31Speaker 14: acute facilit care facilities, they operate assisted living, skilled nursing facilities,
- 1:14:37Speaker 14: these memory these memory centers, these you know, memory nursing
- 1:14:42Speaker 14: homes you know, are prolificating everywhere across the country. As
- 1:14:46Speaker 14: matter of fact, Omega has one twenty six facilities in
- 1:14:53Speaker 14: forty two states and uh and they're also they're also
- 1:14:57Speaker 14: even in the UK. They know how to do they
- 1:15:00Speaker 14: know how to do it well fifty two weeks. Then
- 1:15:02Speaker 14: the last fifty two weeks, the stock's been between thirty
- 1:15:05Speaker 14: five dollars and forty nine, and we're sitting at forty four.
- 1:15:08Speaker 14: Oh Hi, anyone's looking for a dividend yield. Let's say,
- 1:15:12Speaker 14: let's say you've just wanted to put away ten thousand
- 1:15:15Speaker 14: dollars or one hundred thousand dollars and get some money
- 1:15:19Speaker 14: from it.
- 1:15:19Speaker 15: Now, of course you want to be diversified. So I'm
- 1:15:21Speaker 15: talking more theoretically.
- 1:15:22Speaker 14: But you sell your house and you come into some
- 1:15:26Speaker 14: game there, you know, one hundred thousand dollars and you
- 1:15:29Speaker 14: get six percent a year, and the underlying stock goes
- 1:15:31Speaker 14: from forty four even to fifty let's say.
- 1:15:35Speaker 15: Or forty nine. You've won. You've done great, you know
- 1:15:39Speaker 15: not ever, there's not there.
- 1:15:40Speaker 14: There aren't pallenteers and videos and broadcomms and stand discs.
- 1:15:45Speaker 15: And Western digitals just around every single corner. You have
- 1:15:48Speaker 15: to really, you know, be out there looking.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Okay, no, we got we got to call it to
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: an end.
- 1:15:54Speaker 11: But we've got.
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: Oh h E, I think.
- 1:15:57Speaker 15: I think segment next C B R A.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Well, Hillary, I can't argue with the computer. It's just
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: gonna shut me off at some point. But find out
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: more of what Hillary's got. This is a good tease.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Go over to Hillary Kramer dot com and click the
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: trading desk email and subscribe because she's got good stuff
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: for everybody all the time. That's Hillary Kramer dot com,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: one L and a K, Hillary Kramer dot Com. Hillary
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: will talk to you again soon. I'm looking forward to
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Kevin mccallaugh coming back. Don't go away.
- 1:16:31Speaker 9: Let's stick around for more of than Kevin next serving
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: it up with a no drink minu. It's that Kenna show.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: All right, Kevin mccallaugh, thank you for kicking off Holy
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Week with us, and we are so grateful that those
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: of you have responded the way you have. Friends, We're
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: gonna reflect all week long on the meaning of the Cross,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: on the meaning of Christ's death, and on the meaning
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: of what it truly represents. When someone who can't do
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: anything for their own good is able to access salvation
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: through him, it is an incredible message that could only
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: come from the one and only Savior of the world,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: the King of Kings, the Lord of lords, and it's
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: why I love him.
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: Jesus Mine worthy all the fall.
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: Of Senai.
- 1:18:08Speaker 10: Resign, my gracious street team, my Savior.
- 1:18:28Speaker 11: If ever love my Jesus.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: Tis now. I love the because.
- 1:18:45Speaker 11: Though have first loved me and.
- 1:18:50Speaker 10: Purchased my party, all.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: That older tree.
- 1:18:56Speaker 11: A befo.
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: The thorns on my brow is fever.
- 1:19:09Speaker 11: Mem GSEs.
- 1:19:15Speaker 9: Eiz no.
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: Holy fay.
- 1:19:31Speaker 18: Helly is long yes oka sweeb sa a adult to
- 1:19:40Speaker 18: last cold on my brow.
- 1:19:46Speaker 17: You fever.
- 1:19:48Speaker 11: Me margieeees cheiz now I mentions of court and then stay.
- 1:20:07Speaker 11: I love to inhnes so bret. I'll sing with the
- 1:20:16Speaker 11: clean Crone if fever, if fever.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: Teasiness.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: That's from the EP The Madness and Mercy He Collective,
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: just a two songs set that we want to make
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: available to you for free as a thank you if
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: you feed a child eight five five nine oh seven
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: four six seven three eight five five nine zero seven
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: four six seven three. But it really really does express
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: my heart in terms of how I feel about this
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: week and what Jesus has done for all of us,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: and I hope you've experienced it as well. Kevin mckella,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: we will see you next time.
