The Journey Behind JoJo’s Taco with Joellen and Mike Greenlee
I’m joined by Joellen and Mike Greenlee, the dynamic duo behind JoJo’s Taco. We’re at the South Charleston Farmers Market for their grand opening, where they’ve brought their food truck to serve up some delicious tacos and nachos.
Joellen tells me their tacos are made with a special recipe that includes 13 different spices. She explains how they created the recipe by hosting a Super Bowl party, where they had guests vote on six different taco options. Recipe number five, which includes a surprising ingredient—ginger—was the winner. Ginger, she explains, helps with indigestion and heartburn…
