- 1:59Speaker 3: an error that is characterized by the rapid change in
- 2:04Speaker 3: eviving challenges. We're going to be talking about different things
- 2:11Speaker 3: that's taking place right now today. We're going to explore
- 2:16Speaker 3: various topics that we are currently facing across the US.

- 2:39Speaker 3: some of those challenges. As I bring my guests on,
- 2:43Speaker 3: we're gonna give them an opportunity to introduce themselves, talk
- 2:48Speaker 3: about their brand, the things that they are passionate about,
- 2:53Speaker 3: give them opportunity to share just a little bit about that.
- 2:57Speaker 3: We're going to be talking about some of those things
- 3:01Speaker 3: that a lot of people don't want to talk about
- 3:05Speaker 3: because there are topics that affect us as brown people.
- 3:11Speaker 3: I want to touch on how they are trying to
- 3:16Speaker 3: erase history, rewrite history, and all types of things that
- 3:22Speaker 3: is taking place right in our face in the midst
- 3:27Speaker 3: of under our nose, however you want to characterize it.
- 3:32Speaker 3: It is taking place, and I just want to hear
- 3:36Speaker 3: about it. So I'm want to bring my guests up
- 3:39Speaker 3: and to see if my guess is in the building.
- 3:42Speaker 3: We have Patrise Grimball. Patrese is a librarian raining from
- 3:50Speaker 3: the great state of South Carolina. Patrise, are you there?
- 4:01Speaker 3: How are you?
- 4:05Speaker 4: I am? How are you, girlie?
- 4:08Speaker 3: I'm great. I can't complain, I can't complain. Just wanted
- 4:14Speaker 3: to get some different perspectives on some of the things
- 4:19Speaker 3: that we have been seeing and hearing, and you know,
- 4:23Speaker 3: a lot of things have been transpiring, and just want
- 4:27Speaker 3: to get some perspectives, especially from those that are in
- 4:33Speaker 3: the midst of affected by and have opinions about some things.
- 4:40Speaker 3: So welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome, Alcob, I have some opinions.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I went on against agree when they say, and I
- 4:54Speaker 4: watched the dress last night. Yeah, yeah, that's all. I'm
- 5:03Speaker 4: the same. Yeah. And then I'm a news junkie. So
- 5:08Speaker 4: I'm gonna let you know right now, I love news. Okay,
- 5:11Speaker 4: I know that's a bad thing, but I love you.
- 5:14Speaker 4: And to hear that seventy nine percent of other Americans
- 5:20Speaker 4: will cleanse with that last night. Tell me what were
- 5:24Speaker 4: y'all pleased with all these other interviewing people. He's not
- 5:29Speaker 4: telling me why all the jobs are going. He's not
- 5:31Speaker 4: telling me why he got this man who is going
- 5:34Speaker 4: through everybody's business. But we can't go through his business.
- 5:37Speaker 4: You know, it's about right now, there's a whole lot
- 5:42Speaker 4: of people. Y'all got to see what's going on. And
- 5:47Speaker 4: the they say the ninety eight percent, I'm like on
- 5:50Speaker 4: that stradline line, and I know that's not a good thing, but.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I have a.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Twenty two year old and not so I in between
- 6:04Speaker 4: three different erarors in my life and to see what
- 6:09Speaker 4: is transpiring in front of us right now, this is crazy. Well,
- 6:17Speaker 4: the ninety is the same thing. We're gonna sit around
- 6:19Speaker 4: if y'all find out, Well, how much we want them
- 6:24Speaker 4: to find out? Mm? When will we stepy? When it
- 6:30Speaker 4: will be the best.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Time to step in?
- 6:33Speaker 3: I mean, and what are we finding out? And how
- 6:35Speaker 3: much do we need to find out? I mean, what
- 6:38Speaker 3: are we finding out? Because like, show me all this
- 6:41Speaker 3: stuff that you keep saying that that that is happening,
- 6:46Speaker 3: Like I just a lot of this stuff. I just
- 6:49Speaker 3: I don't understand, Like truly, I don't understand, Like, for
- 6:52Speaker 3: the likes of me, how do you put someone from
- 6:57Speaker 3: wrestling over wrestling in charge of an education apartment? Like really,
- 7:06Speaker 3: how do you do that? Now?
- 7:11Speaker 4: Like what are her qualifications?
- 7:16Speaker 3: It's not about.
- 7:20Speaker 4: All the stuff they had going on with that.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Well, it's not about well with him, it's not well
- 7:29Speaker 3: with the administration, this new administration. It's not about them
- 7:34Speaker 3: knowing or having qualifications, but it's about them being able
- 7:38Speaker 3: to you know, they they've had businesses, they they've been
- 7:41Speaker 3: successful in businesses with a lot of people. It's just
- 7:44Speaker 3: about money and what they've done for businesses, Like are
- 7:48Speaker 3: they doing that for you? Or are your businesses like that?
- 7:51Speaker 3: Or is that's what's happening? Are you going to benefit
- 7:54Speaker 3: from this? Like I don't understand, Like, for the lights
- 7:59Speaker 3: of me, you you you are flatting around this little
- 8:02Speaker 3: young boy that is a cancer survivor, but yet you're
- 8:06Speaker 3: taking millions away from cancer research, Like make it make sense.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I don't understand. One hand, you're you're you're saying that
- 8:16Speaker 3: you are for and then the next hand you're you're
- 8:19Speaker 3: pulling and taking away from Like I don't understand that.
- 8:26Speaker 4: You're not my house. When I was throwing stuff at
- 8:30Speaker 4: the teat when he did that with that little boy,
- 8:33Speaker 4: I was like, cook that boy down because aren't you
- 8:35Speaker 4: cutting research? A cancer study?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Hold up?
- 8:39Speaker 4: Didn't we just have things something where you were maddling
- 8:44Speaker 4: just mantoning the Department of Health? Mak it makes sense
- 8:49Speaker 4: to me. Now you got this man right here who
- 8:53Speaker 4: said that black people do not need any shoes because
- 8:58Speaker 4: what do you say out or was stronger the necks
- 9:02Speaker 4: and creasing as he said, you got him it half
- 9:07Speaker 4: of his family even to you, he was not the
- 9:09Speaker 4: right person because he threw his support behind you in
- 9:15Speaker 4: the race. He said you won't give him a coffice?
- 9:18Speaker 4: And now I'm about tellers name my old and his
- 9:21Speaker 4: name now Jesus, so what I'll need you?
- 9:28Speaker 3: Wow? So I want to see if our other guest
- 9:32Speaker 3: is on because this is probably a conversation that we
- 9:36Speaker 3: all can dive into. Shining. Are you there?
- 9:47Speaker 4: How?
- 9:48Speaker 3: How are you?
- 9:51Speaker 4: I am fabulous? How about yourself?
- 9:53Speaker 3: I'm great? I can't complain me and Patrice was just
- 9:57Speaker 3: just we just none jumped in AND's just don't dive
- 9:59Speaker 3: into the conversation like we did, not even like really
- 10:04Speaker 3: give formal introductions like Patrice, who are you?
- 10:11Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I'm like what, that's okay? You don't want
- 10:16Speaker 4: to work. I am pretty child in South Carolina. I
- 10:24Speaker 4: am a freend mother of two beautiful experients. I have
- 10:27Speaker 4: a twenty three ye old black male Find the Men
- 10:31Speaker 4: and Teens, and I have my little Eva and I
- 10:36Speaker 4: Happy birth Feast the girl. And I worked at a
- 10:40Speaker 4: public library for this school. So I'm not going to
- 10:44Speaker 4: see which public library because we got some stuff going
- 10:47Speaker 4: on in our library also, and I have been the
- 10:52Speaker 4: directors look for you for a Firing Office magazine, and
- 10:57Speaker 4: I am an avid leader. I have a podcasts by
- 11:01Speaker 4: the mean of As we Go Down the French Checks
- 11:04Speaker 4: and that Sugar as she Can. And my platform is
- 11:11Speaker 4: really for authors who want to keep their names out there.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I love the hunger of new authors. I love the
- 11:21Speaker 4: first of season offers, and I just want to give
- 11:25Speaker 4: them a platform as they can have a chance to
- 11:28Speaker 4: meet others, collaborate and everything. So that's a little bit
- 11:33Speaker 4: about me.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Wow. And you say collaborate and you mentioned some just
- 11:39Speaker 3: different things that you do. I often hear individual will
- 11:44Speaker 3: say how lazy we as black people are, how we
- 11:48Speaker 3: always have a handout for something. We don't want to
- 11:51Speaker 3: get out and do anything. It just saddens me that
- 11:58Speaker 3: in this day and time, we still have our own
- 12:01Speaker 3: kind that would tear us down instead of I see,
- 12:06Speaker 3: there's a young lady where there was something that she
- 12:10Speaker 3: wanted done. It wasn't being done, so she went out
- 12:12Speaker 3: and started doing it in her own neighborhood. Now she
- 12:15Speaker 3: has she owns just about the whole block. She has
- 12:18Speaker 3: a a house for the children for homework. She got
- 12:25Speaker 3: a house for this, a house for that. They have garden,
- 12:27Speaker 3: they have this, they have that, they have everything. Because
- 12:31Speaker 3: when she saw a need, she did something about it.
- 12:33Speaker 3: She didn't kept she didn't keep griping, she didn't keep complaining.
- 12:36Speaker 3: She got out and she did something about it. You know,
- 12:39Speaker 3: I often hear people say, well, who's going to the
- 12:42Speaker 3: different council meetings and the different things. Well, I happened
- 12:45Speaker 3: to be one of those people that did do that.
- 12:48Speaker 3: I went to the city council meetings. I went and
- 12:51Speaker 3: I sit down, and I sit down amongst individuals, and
- 12:55Speaker 3: I saw that, yeah, there was not a lot of
- 12:58Speaker 3: us being represented locally in our local government and different things.
- 13:04Speaker 3: But instead of us tearing each other down. We should
- 13:07Speaker 3: be saying, okay, well, how can we come together and
- 13:10Speaker 3: rectify these issues that we're happening? Like, where really is
- 13:15Speaker 3: that village mentality? It's like it just went out the
- 13:19Speaker 3: door when we all begin to start with that. Oh,
- 13:24Speaker 3: I got to get my white picket fence, and I
- 13:27Speaker 3: got to get my house, I got to get my car,
- 13:29Speaker 3: and I got to think about my four and no more.
- 13:32Speaker 3: And that's what happened. And when we begin to have
- 13:36Speaker 3: that mentality, all of the community work went out of
- 13:39Speaker 3: the way, and that's when you begin to see the
- 13:43Speaker 3: rise in a lot of the things that are happening
- 13:46Speaker 3: within our society. Because then now you step on my shoe,
- 13:51Speaker 3: I'm willing to take you out of here. That that's
- 13:54Speaker 3: the mentality that a lot of us have shining. Please
- 13:59Speaker 3: introduce yourself.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I am here.
- 14:01Speaker 3: You you have two teenagers, so definitely introduce yourself, and
- 14:07Speaker 3: then we're gonna jump on and dive into that conversation
- 14:10Speaker 3: with you. Get your perspective.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Okay, well, I'm not gonna take too much time on
- 14:15Speaker 4: my introduction because I love what a few ladies are
- 14:18Speaker 4: talking about and I definitely have some things to grow
- 14:21Speaker 4: in that clos, So I definitely want to be cooking
- 14:23Speaker 4: with you both and see the type of recipe you
- 14:27Speaker 4: can have tonight. So but my name is Shining, Shining
- 14:30Speaker 4: that fun. I am the new new kid on the block,
- 14:34Speaker 4: a new kid on the the podcast, the cool podcast.
- 14:38Speaker 4: My podcast is called Dad to Business BADD bringing all
- 14:41Speaker 4: diverse discussions to business, which is what we're charleging tonight,
- 14:46Speaker 4: and it's just basically about bringing uh, different perspectives, different opinions,
- 14:50Speaker 4: different fact checks to the table. You can find some
- 14:53Speaker 4: type of the business or resolution that we can all
- 14:57Speaker 4: come out on top of, you know, within the mis
- 15:00Speaker 4: to dealing with all these different different things going on.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I'm gonna saying a different entity is going on in
- 15:06Speaker 4: the world. So I definitely am keeping up with these
- 15:09Speaker 4: current events because as mister Tree said, you know, when
- 15:13Speaker 4: you have children in this world that are still coming up,
- 15:15Speaker 4: the adults have trying to learn how to maneuver, becussle, strategize,
- 15:18Speaker 4: but our kids growing up and you're still trying to
- 15:20Speaker 4: teach them that. And you know, we were taught in
- 15:22Speaker 4: a different world how to do it. The world that
- 15:25Speaker 4: they're growing up in. I mean, I'm still trying to
- 15:27Speaker 4: understand their math now. So just just a totally different
- 15:32Speaker 4: thing going on right now. But yes, I do have
- 15:34Speaker 4: some teenage groups and with trying to raise them to
- 15:39Speaker 4: be resilient black women, I'm absolutely lead by example. So
- 15:43Speaker 4: I do like the point that you touched on about
- 15:46Speaker 4: not just talking about it, but being about it. And
- 15:48Speaker 4: that's one thing that they don't expect for us, quote
- 15:52Speaker 4: unquote to do is to get organized. So definitely want
- 15:56Speaker 4: to start doing that more. And what I'm doing on
- 15:59Speaker 4: this podcast doing just that. We're actually doing this bringing
- 16:02Speaker 4: these diverse discussions, opinions, fact checks to the tables to
- 16:07Speaker 4: see what we can what goods we can bring out
- 16:10Speaker 4: of it. So hopefully during this discussion around we talk
- 16:13Speaker 4: talk about a little bit that will start something and
- 16:16Speaker 4: it need each of us on the line to do
- 16:18Speaker 4: trumping different different So I'm excited.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Thank you for having So. I have a couple of
- 16:24Speaker 3: questions that will hopefully give some people that will provoke
- 16:32Speaker 3: some people to think a little deeper. So in your opinion,
- 16:38Speaker 3: and either one of y'all can answer this, Patrise or
- 16:42Speaker 3: shining in your opinion, what are the biggest social and
- 16:46Speaker 3: political challenges facing the United States today?
- 16:53Speaker 4: Political challenge the street. Would you like to go first?
- 17:00Speaker 4: I don't think it's sad that a social and political
- 17:03Speaker 4: talents for social let's go straight into it. We're talking
- 17:08Speaker 4: about race, and then we're not even gonna take it
- 17:13Speaker 4: just as reach. We want to talk to gender, okay,
- 17:17Speaker 4: and we're not even gonna talk to gender. We want
- 17:19Speaker 4: to talk about age. Almost each one of these are
- 17:24Speaker 4: one of those. Okay, we can talk about. Well, it's
- 17:31Speaker 4: so much to that question.
- 17:34Speaker 3: It is so for me. Let me. I want to
- 17:42Speaker 3: jump in. I want to jump in and give my
- 17:46Speaker 3: take real quick. So in my opinion, I want to
- 17:50Speaker 3: talk about one of the biggest I feel social problems
- 17:56Speaker 3: we talked about and it probably falls on the judicial,
- 18:00Speaker 3: but social injustice that that that is one of the
- 18:05Speaker 3: biggest challenges. That is plague and the world. But the
- 18:11Speaker 3: United States we talk about the disparity with then our
- 18:18Speaker 3: prison system. We we look at right now we have
- 18:21Speaker 3: individuals that have made parole, but yet they are still
- 18:27Speaker 3: behind prison walls. Well, why are they yet behind prison wall?
- 18:32Speaker 3: Why are you still holding these individuals? So these are
- 18:36Speaker 3: things that you know, these are challenges that we have
- 18:41Speaker 3: to look at. It is it's money more important than
- 18:45Speaker 3: human life and rehabilitation. We we had a elderly man
- 18:52Speaker 3: that was laying over there in his feces, in his
- 18:55Speaker 3: biwel movement, and these men were having to help him,
- 18:59Speaker 3: you know, get changed because the guards wouldn't allow this
- 19:03Speaker 3: man to get moved out of there. It took me
- 19:07Speaker 3: having to write these people and tell these people that
- 19:12Speaker 3: pretty much threaten them to bring legal action before they
- 19:16Speaker 3: would even allow the man to go to the hospital.
- 19:19Speaker 3: That that that that's sad. I'm not even a relative,
- 19:24Speaker 3: you know that that is sad. That this is the
- 19:26Speaker 3: world that we're living in. Go ahead.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Reading. I had a conversation with someone today that now
- 19:38Speaker 4: you gots how you bring in fresh, clean bottle drinking
- 19:46Speaker 4: water for your employeesdy who comes into but those who
- 19:53Speaker 4: are incacrated they're drinking water, telling people who come into.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Don't drink relative because it's because it's it has topsins
- 20:06Speaker 3: in it. And if and and if you google and
- 20:13Speaker 3: you if you google and do the research, you'll see
- 20:16Speaker 3: that you know, it has been proven that the water
- 20:19Speaker 3: has toxins in it, that that the water is it
- 20:23Speaker 3: it's not it's not. Yeah, that has caused inmates to
- 20:26Speaker 3: get sick. And has caused you know, regular people that
- 20:30Speaker 3: that live in that area to get sick as well.
- 20:33Speaker 3: So we know that there's an issue. But for you
- 20:36Speaker 3: to be able to not have hot water, washing water,
- 20:41Speaker 3: washing dishes, and trash cans with water, and you allowing
- 20:47Speaker 3: your inmates to to eat off of these grimy plates,
- 20:52Speaker 3: but yeah, your workers can eat off plastic plates and
- 20:57Speaker 3: drink out of bottled water. Like, we really got to
- 21:02Speaker 3: make this makes sense to us. You know a lot
- 21:07Speaker 3: of us. We were making excuses for this current administration
- 21:14Speaker 3: in all that's going on, but nevertheless, shining question for you.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I hate to interrupt, I don't want to be too
- 21:25Speaker 4: far off because I am listening to you all. I'm
- 21:27Speaker 4: trying to jot down so I can make sure I
- 21:29Speaker 4: kind of touch on some things. But I just wanted
- 21:32Speaker 4: to go back to your question point what may be
- 21:36Speaker 4: the biggest social and political challenge we say today? And honestly,
- 21:39Speaker 4: you maybe just said it while you were communicators when
- 21:41Speaker 4: we were talking. There is no effective communication happening. There's
- 21:45Speaker 4: a whole lot of conversation that it's not being effected.
- 21:48Speaker 4: We're not moving on it. Kind of like you said,
- 21:50Speaker 4: what what else are we doing? Other than talking about
- 21:53Speaker 4: it and uh, just the truth. I did you to
- 21:56Speaker 4: watch the directs to converts and I I have a
- 22:01Speaker 4: lot to say about that too. But one of the
- 22:06Speaker 4: things that I don't know if you've tuned in all
- 22:08Speaker 4: the way to the end, you know, you got to
- 22:09Speaker 4: watch the ending credit and Senator black King I think
- 22:14Speaker 4: her name is, and this was black Kim. She's the
- 22:16Speaker 4: Senator of Michigan, and she jumped in and she did
- 22:20Speaker 4: the rebuttal to his speech and the top three things
- 22:25Speaker 4: she said, and we have to do as people who
- 22:28Speaker 4: you know, really enforce something that we believe in. The
- 22:31Speaker 4: first thing is she said, don't kill out, don't get
- 22:33Speaker 4: so aggravated about what's going on in the world or
- 22:35Speaker 4: you're you know, feel like it doesn't affect you, or
- 22:38Speaker 4: something that you just pay no attention to things, because
- 22:40Speaker 4: he eventually affects your call whether he is effect of
- 22:44Speaker 4: your children. And as as a parent, your bother is
- 22:47Speaker 4: buy that you may not even have to do. Is
- 22:48Speaker 4: you've got your Social Security check and everything beautiful. What
- 22:51Speaker 4: about your child? Now your child is not gonna law
- 22:53Speaker 4: up with the soul security you don't do you know
- 22:56Speaker 4: how your child is on the side for the rest
- 22:57Speaker 4: of their life. And as a parent, we try to
- 22:59Speaker 4: all you have things set up for our children, but
- 23:02Speaker 4: we also expect for the economy to do what it's
- 23:05Speaker 4: been doing, which is, you know, including in you take out.
- 23:08Speaker 4: That's one of my models. You can't make it look
- 23:10Speaker 4: it all without making a deposit. But right now we're
- 23:13Speaker 4: making a whole lot of deposits with the promise of
- 23:16Speaker 4: almost expectations of getting nothing back when we're older. So
- 23:21Speaker 4: that's scary. In the bum number two, she says, you
- 23:24Speaker 4: got to hold your your officials accountable. Well, first, you
- 23:28Speaker 4: want to know your officials, whether you voted or not.
- 23:30Speaker 4: You want to know who your local officials, and you
- 23:33Speaker 4: want to know who your state officials are because when
- 23:35Speaker 4: things start to come up, maybe you didn't vote, but
- 23:38Speaker 4: it doesn't mean that your voice doesn't count. And I
- 23:41Speaker 4: don't like for people to use the expression if you
- 23:43Speaker 4: even vote, you don't get to say anything, or you
- 23:45Speaker 4: don't have an opinion. That's not true. I may not
- 23:48Speaker 4: have one to vote for the president that was up
- 23:51Speaker 4: for tendidencies, but I may have gone ahead and voted
- 23:55Speaker 4: for our state and local officials that I want to
- 23:57Speaker 4: see something happen closer. So even if that's the case,
- 24:00Speaker 4: but you don't feel like because you did not vote
- 24:02Speaker 4: you don't have a voice, that is not true. If
- 24:04Speaker 4: you pay facts, you have a voice. So please make
- 24:08Speaker 4: sure you're holding your your state officials, any officials that
- 24:11Speaker 4: you know have something to do with stuff, you know,
- 24:14Speaker 4: hold them accountable, reach out to them, say something. The
- 24:18Speaker 4: third thing that kind of helps number two is organized.
- 24:20Speaker 4: So while you're finding out your officials and the people
- 24:23Speaker 4: you need to talk to, then get what the people
- 24:26Speaker 4: you know are in agreean get these We got to
- 24:28Speaker 4: get back out to finding petitions and doing different things,
- 24:31Speaker 4: organizing things in our community that are showing our local
- 24:34Speaker 4: officials and state officials that there are a group of
- 24:37Speaker 4: people a majority we the people in the constitution, that's
- 24:40Speaker 4: the majority. You know, we're not puessing that issue. So
- 24:44Speaker 4: I think if we get together as a community, get
- 24:46Speaker 4: back the petitioning, doing those things and actually then they
- 24:49Speaker 4: again not coming out, we may get you know, a
- 24:53Speaker 4: little long more of an answer, at least of an answer.
- 24:58Speaker 4: And I don't want to go too far into you know,
- 25:00Speaker 4: getting off your topics, but even getting into getting answered
- 25:03Speaker 4: the situation talked about watching that that addressed the Congress.
- 25:08Speaker 4: I'm trying to make sure I'm label me correctly, you
- 25:10Speaker 4: are addressed correctly, because I have to see titles for
- 25:13Speaker 4: it myself. But he, you know, for so many people
- 25:19Speaker 4: because be watching, because they were looking for answers from
- 25:22Speaker 4: our president officials. They didn't get that. I saw that.
- 25:27Speaker 4: They said uphole before the show what people were looking
- 25:30Speaker 4: most to get out of there, and most people were
- 25:34Speaker 4: looking for the ghost conversation. You've spoken nothing about me,
- 25:38Speaker 4: my us. Really you talking nothing about his thoughs. You
- 25:41Speaker 4: turn and on this addressed the Congress into a prolongo show,
- 25:46Speaker 4: or that we just rabael show. You know, no doubt
- 25:50Speaker 4: saying to any of the people he put on the show,
- 25:54Speaker 4: and people he acknowledged because he should ask, you know,
- 25:56Speaker 4: people that should have been acknowledge. But I also feel
- 25:59Speaker 4: like they were a little bit exploited because this is
- 26:01Speaker 4: not the platform, largest time for them to be brought
- 26:04Speaker 4: to the States in the ways that he did. That
- 26:07Speaker 4: that was a little, I'm gonna say, discouraging to me
- 26:10Speaker 4: as a as a citizen who was watching looking for
- 26:14Speaker 4: answer to stuff, not your good deeds of the day,
- 26:17Speaker 4: because what you tried to do was persuade people who
- 26:20Speaker 4: were watching to know that you have a good heart.
- 26:23Speaker 4: You can't really do that when, like you guys said,
- 26:25Speaker 4: you you are preaching one thing but practicing another. That
- 26:31Speaker 4: got kind of confusing. So him doing those things, and
- 26:34Speaker 4: that's why as well, I'm so glad that you titled
- 26:37Speaker 4: this show the current State of America because lads, I
- 26:41Speaker 4: thought about that and it rolled off my tongue. I
- 26:43Speaker 4: was like, that's probably what we need to be called.
- 26:44Speaker 4: It's not the United States of America because as much
- 26:47Speaker 4: as when you want to be united on both orders,
- 26:49Speaker 4: own type on every state, but we are the current
- 26:53Speaker 4: state of America, and it seems like we're going to
- 26:55Speaker 4: be in that for a week the next four years.
- 26:58Speaker 4: We're just the current state whatever it is. So, you know,
- 27:03Speaker 4: watching that address and wanting to know what states were
- 27:07Speaker 4: really in and it says, you know, you asked me
- 27:09Speaker 4: to be a just before that even came out, had
- 27:12Speaker 4: a topic for it. So I felt like it was
- 27:14Speaker 4: really God sent for me to be able to chime
- 27:16Speaker 4: in on that that that speech last night, right before
- 27:21Speaker 4: in this interview, because I said, you know what, well,
- 27:23Speaker 4: you know, I have a few things and a few
- 27:25Speaker 4: topics to researching, researching that I've done, but let me
- 27:29Speaker 4: see the current state of America. And unfortunately I couldn't
- 27:34Speaker 4: grab enough topics other than other people's business to even
- 27:38Speaker 4: present on your show. Fortunately for me, I've done enough
- 27:41Speaker 4: research with Trump and Elon must and all these things
- 27:43Speaker 4: that going on that I do have some opinions or
- 27:45Speaker 4: some things to say. But as far as how he
- 27:47Speaker 4: addressed the time works last night, we didn't get anything
- 27:50Speaker 4: that we needed out of it. Was it even necessary
- 27:52Speaker 4: for him to do that? And that being said, they
- 27:54Speaker 4: were surprised that he even addressed it one hundred days
- 27:57Speaker 4: or I mean before the hundred days, because they said
- 28:00Speaker 4: presidents do undays. I mean, I was looking at it
- 28:03Speaker 4: as as much damage as you've done in less than
- 28:06Speaker 4: what's that?
- 28:06Speaker 3: Yeah, we're looking for, but you you are. But we
- 28:11Speaker 3: have so many We have so many that we got
- 28:15Speaker 3: to give him a chance. He's only been there six weeks.
- 28:18Speaker 3: He first he has to go in and you know,
- 28:22Speaker 3: kind of expose and and and mix up and and
- 28:26Speaker 3: shake up things so he can he can rat out
- 28:29Speaker 3: the things that are not right and the things that
- 28:32Speaker 3: are that are not that that that that's out of place.
- 28:35Speaker 3: So we gotta give him a chance.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Old please look at your prom you guys.
- 28:51Speaker 4: It seems like we're just going so yeah, I understand that.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Okay, we gotta call the number one we got. We
- 29:00Speaker 3: got a caller, so we're gonna let the caller Colin
- 29:03Speaker 3: the more.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Hello, Coler, Hi's Jerry Pepita. I doing Angela.
- 29:10Speaker 3: I'm fine. How are you?
- 29:13Speaker 4: I'm good. I'm just listening to you, ladies. I'm calling
- 29:15Speaker 4: and to support your show. Thank you, You're welcome. Do
- 29:23Speaker 4: you have any to night? Well? I am a Republican
- 29:27Speaker 4: and I thank God every day for Trump. Not here
- 29:31Speaker 4: to argue at all, but I do want to share
- 29:33Speaker 4: a little bit of my story. So I'm going to
- 29:37Speaker 4: be sixty four in a couple of days. And I
- 29:39Speaker 4: started in my early twenties going all around the world
- 29:43Speaker 4: on tours. I went to Russia, I had machine guns
- 29:47Speaker 4: pointed at me, Germany, China had machine guns pointed at me.
- 29:52Speaker 4: I went to the borders. I protested with Robert S.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Kennedy Junior twice pre COVID and Trent and for our
- 30:00Speaker 4: theitucitional rights. We won both times, thank god. And I
- 30:03Speaker 4: went to the borders last year, spent five days with
- 30:06Speaker 4: Border Patrol and Sheriff Department in New Arizona, went to
- 30:09Speaker 4: the most dangerous border, went to the legal border, and
- 30:13Speaker 4: went to all the illegals. Saw hundreds and hundreds and
- 30:16Speaker 4: hundreds all day and night long of children being brought
- 30:21Speaker 4: in Okay that weren't even their own children for sex trafficking.
- 30:26Speaker 4: So what I've learned all these years and what's been
- 30:31Speaker 4: going on in this country is absolutely horrendous. Though I'm
- 30:38Speaker 4: not here to bash anyone, I'm not here to argue
- 30:40Speaker 4: with anyone. I'm just here to tell them my little
- 30:43Speaker 4: piece of this story. And I feel that God saved
- 30:47Speaker 4: Trump not once but twice to get him in office again.
- 30:51Speaker 4: And everything that's been going on has been going on
- 30:55Speaker 4: horrendously for the last four years. So he just got
- 31:00Speaker 4: in office and you will fix it all.
- 31:02Speaker 3: But he was in office before that. He was there before,
- 31:06Speaker 3: he was there before the four years, so he was
- 31:09Speaker 3: part of the problem too. So he was four years
- 31:13Speaker 3: before that.
- 31:16Speaker 4: So and so I just I'm sorry calling me your name,
- 31:21Speaker 4: I'm Jerry, Jerry Pachito. I also have a show here. Yes, also, Jerry,
- 31:27Speaker 4: I just had a question for you because I have
- 31:30Speaker 4: talked to some of the Republicans about just what they if
- 31:34Speaker 4: they haven't gotten or even seen anything, uh, you know,
- 31:40Speaker 4: remotely to what he's promised or whatnot. I talked to
- 31:43Speaker 4: a couple of Republicans who were kind of angry I
- 31:45Speaker 4: voted for him, and then he put the script on me.
- 31:48Speaker 4: So in this case, I know he's only been president
- 31:51Speaker 4: a short amount of time, although this is the second
- 31:53Speaker 4: time around. Has he done anything yett or is there
- 31:58Speaker 4: anything that you can see that he's putting in? Well,
- 32:03Speaker 4: I can tell you something that I know for a
- 32:05Speaker 4: fact right now. Okay, I'm not even sure how to
- 32:12Speaker 4: say this yet. Actually I'm going to keep this to
- 32:15Speaker 4: myself for a moment because he's doing something that he
- 32:20Speaker 4: needs to be doing and it has to do with
- 32:22Speaker 4: child trafficking. And I have a granddaughter who's nine years old.
- 32:26Speaker 4: And again, what I saw at these borders was horrendous
- 32:30Speaker 4: for me. So for me, right now, ladies, that's enough.
- 32:33Speaker 4: But I just wanted to say that, and and good
- 32:35Speaker 4: night guys.
- 32:36Speaker 3: But they but he was at Epstein Island, but four
- 32:42Speaker 3: times they got him over there, four times. But he's man,
- 32:46Speaker 3: Please come on, anyhow.
- 32:50Speaker 4: You tell me the thing man that say Grant him
- 32:53Speaker 4: by the posty who the greeting women And that's not
- 32:58Speaker 4: even the Union.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I'm on yeah, just like just like for the lights
- 33:05Speaker 3: of me. Yeah, And and they want to set this
- 33:12Speaker 3: man free. They want to pardon the man that that
- 33:15Speaker 3: that that killed what what's his name? They don't throw
- 33:21Speaker 3: me off now, I'm all off, honey, Let me go
- 33:27Speaker 3: to the next question. I got another question. So how
- 33:32Speaker 3: do you think the recent events have shaped America's identity
- 33:37Speaker 3: on a global stage. We want to talk about a
- 33:40Speaker 3: global stage now, how all of butt has been going on,
- 33:45Speaker 3: because we can talk about, you know, what Trump is
- 33:49Speaker 3: doing and what Trump ain't doing, and how he's letting
- 33:52Speaker 3: all these people that not qualified in the office running
- 33:56Speaker 3: because they got money, uh, they might have whatever. But
- 34:00Speaker 3: we talk about sex trafficking. I want to talk about
- 34:03Speaker 3: this thing. Now, we talk about sex trafficking. But then
- 34:06Speaker 3: you have documents proven that this man was over on
- 34:09Speaker 3: Epstein's Island, not one time, but four times. They they
- 34:14Speaker 3: they've given years and dates of this man over there.
- 34:18Speaker 3: But he now all of a sudden want to talk
- 34:21Speaker 3: about some sex trafficking. All these politicians that want to
- 34:25Speaker 3: talk about sex trafficking. Now, yeah, you don't have your
- 34:27Speaker 3: dips in it. You don't played in it. You know,
- 34:30Speaker 3: been in it for thirty forty years. Yeah, now you
- 34:34Speaker 3: want to talk about you? You you Ford? You you
- 34:37Speaker 3: watching the children? Yeah, you're watching the children. Okay, calling
- 34:42Speaker 3: number two and Q callin number two. Come on in
- 34:44Speaker 3: the room, I says.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Calling it some little rock Arkansas. Hey, Ames, how are you?
- 34:54Speaker 3: I'm good? How are you?
- 34:56Speaker 4: I'm doing alright, doing all right. I love your topic tonight,
- 35:01Speaker 4: and I'm sorry your last color didn't answer your question.
- 35:09Speaker 4: I did not vote for the Mango Mussolini, not once,
- 35:13Speaker 4: not twice, not three times, not ever. And I stand
- 35:19Speaker 4: with you. I don't think if there's anything but it's
- 35:22Speaker 4: going to come out of it and support your show.
- 35:27Speaker 4: And I love that you're having this topic tonight. And
- 35:30Speaker 4: thank you for allowing me to call in.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Well, thank you, and please tell everyone who you are
- 35:37Speaker 3: and when your show is.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Oh absolutely, my name is Dez and I have a
- 35:47Speaker 4: new show and it's called You Turn and it'll be
- 35:49Speaker 4: on March twentieth at eight thirty Central Standard times non
- 35:54Speaker 4: thirty Eastern Standard time.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Wow. What a name for a show, because that's what
- 35:59Speaker 3: a lot of people do. They turn they doing a
- 36:01Speaker 3: lot of you turning and getting off the subject and
- 36:04Speaker 3: not even getting straight to the point. And I'm like Charida,
- 36:06Speaker 3: Now they turn a blind eye to things and bad
- 36:10Speaker 3: behaviors until they started affecting them. I'm telling you, when
- 36:14Speaker 3: we talk about these we talk about education, they say,
- 36:18Speaker 3: we're supposed to be trying to give our kids an education,
- 36:21Speaker 3: and give them no way to get an education. Of
- 36:23Speaker 3: how when you're taking out of the funding a way,
- 36:27Speaker 3: it's just like you setting up yo, yo, your buddy.
- 36:31Speaker 3: You're setting up your buddy, he getting all the benefits
- 36:35Speaker 3: from everything. You're taking stuff from other people that would
- 36:38Speaker 3: be benefiting and you're giving it to Elon Musk, that
- 36:42Speaker 3: man that's already being there. And then you got other
- 36:45Speaker 3: countries that's going against this man, not even allowing his
- 36:48Speaker 3: stuff to come in their country no more. Yeah, but
- 36:52Speaker 3: we we fighting against two countries that sit on both
- 36:55Speaker 3: sides of our boy, and we in the middle. Come on, now,
- 37:00Speaker 3: we're gonna need these people as our lives. But yet
- 37:03Speaker 3: we're going against everything like you are the worst ever
- 37:07Speaker 3: six weeks and you've caused so much damage. You've caused
- 37:13Speaker 3: so much damage in only six weeks.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Were truly been laughing. Everybody's looking at her laughing. A
- 37:25Speaker 4: lot of people teaching be like, what's gonna happen in America?
- 37:28Speaker 4: Then we don't even know? We are totally a country divided. Hm.
- 37:36Speaker 4: That hasn't been one hundred days.
- 37:39Speaker 3: It's it's just.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Terrible because it feels like it's expert.
- 37:43Speaker 3: It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. So Shining, you got people who
- 37:54Speaker 3: I'm sorry, go ahead, Patrice, I was trying to see
- 37:56Speaker 3: if Shining was so long, it sounds like she dropped out.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Can you hear me?
- 38:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I can hear you now, but I couldn't hear
- 38:07Speaker 3: if you were saying something, I could not hear you.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Disconnected. I think, you know, maybe Goad I need to
- 38:14Speaker 4: turn it down or not. And I get it. This
- 38:17Speaker 4: is just about stuff to business.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Well, I mean, but I mean, these are things that
- 38:24Speaker 3: we need to talk about, Like y'all have kids. You
- 38:28Speaker 3: know y'all both have kids, You have teenagers, you talk
- 38:32Speaker 3: about you got you got kids, that's finna go off
- 38:34Speaker 3: to college. Your your baby's gonna be affected by the
- 38:38Speaker 3: funding issue. Not only that we talk about they he
- 38:43Speaker 3: snatching snatching the free lunches and in the different things.
- 38:48Speaker 3: You're snatching a lot of stuff. See, this is what's happening.
- 38:51Speaker 3: And I'm about to just be frank with these people
- 38:53Speaker 3: because a lot of people, what they're thinking is a
- 38:55Speaker 3: lot of this stuff that they're doing, they're thinking that's
- 38:57Speaker 3: gonna hurt us as brown people. But it's not gonna
- 39:00Speaker 3: hurt us, because, let me tell you something, were some
- 39:02Speaker 3: of the most resilient people. We we've been through this.
- 39:05Speaker 3: I think about what y'all done to us when we
- 39:07Speaker 3: went through slavery and all the stuff, how we had
- 39:09Speaker 3: to sacrifice, how we had to do without, had we
- 39:11Speaker 3: had to hand me downs and all of this. So
- 39:13Speaker 3: we've been through this, So what you're doing, it's not
- 39:16Speaker 3: really affecting us. And then they want to talk about
- 39:18Speaker 3: d E I. Forget a d E I because a
- 39:21Speaker 3: lot of us we were not affected by no d
- 39:23Speaker 3: E I. It's not affected by the jobs that we work.
- 39:25Speaker 3: You know, when we talk about d E I I was,
- 39:28Speaker 3: I'm not affected by no d I. A lot of
- 39:30Speaker 3: us we go to these jobs and it's our marriage.
- 39:33Speaker 3: It's what we do on these jobs that allow us
- 39:36Speaker 3: to get in the positions that we get in. It
- 39:37Speaker 3: ain't because we black. You don't see a lot of
- 39:41Speaker 3: you don't see a lot of them working the jobs
- 39:43Speaker 3: that we work. No way.
- 39:45Speaker 4: That's the thing that's real quick that I want to
- 39:49Speaker 4: make sure that I understand this. And and that's why
- 39:54Speaker 4: I love conversations to the table because it changing opinions.
- 40:00Speaker 4: The e I is that supposed to out a loan
- 40:04Speaker 4: or a conflict with affirmative action.
- 40:10Speaker 3: That's that diversity, exclusion and equality and inclusion.
- 40:16Speaker 4: I didn't understand it to be.
- 40:19Speaker 3: I don't know that. Well you know what I keep
- 40:23Speaker 3: telling people, we got go ahead, I'm sorry.
- 40:32Speaker 4: Is diversity it.
- 40:34Speaker 3: Can be an inclusion?
- 40:37Speaker 4: Do you inclusions? Do you not know that a white woman?
- 40:43Speaker 3: Yeah, because she's a woman. Because she's a woman. Because
- 40:48Speaker 3: she's a woman. That's that's the thing. Because she's a woman.
- 40:53Speaker 4: Yeah. And then they say the thing is black and brown.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Know, no, no, that's not it's it's because she's a woman.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Man.
- 41:08Speaker 3: They thought it was about just black people. That's what
- 41:10Speaker 3: they thought it was about just black people. That's what
- 41:13Speaker 3: they thought it was about. But it wasn't about black people.
- 41:16Speaker 4: Huclusion And you're saying that.
- 41:23Speaker 3: So many Well that's why I guess he wanted to
- 41:27Speaker 3: do away with it. That's why I say, he giving
- 41:31Speaker 3: you something with the left hand and then snatching it
- 41:34Speaker 3: back with the right hand, just as fancy you give
- 41:35Speaker 3: it to you. If he ain't an Indian, I don't
- 41:37Speaker 3: know what he is. But then now you all the
- 41:40Speaker 3: sudden you're best friends with Putin? What is that all about?
- 41:45Speaker 3: I ain't never seen I ain't never I mean I
- 41:48Speaker 3: know that's been going on. But now you want to
- 41:51Speaker 3: be so publicly with it. Now it's all it's it's
- 41:54Speaker 3: it's all good. Now, it's all good now. But before
- 41:58Speaker 3: you wouldn't not all the way good.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Queen, because he made this statement when he did it
- 42:05Speaker 4: at the White House that anyone you know he's trying
- 42:08Speaker 4: to do the regard between Rush and Ukraine, and said
- 42:11Speaker 4: anyone who's not about that will not what was his words,
- 42:15Speaker 4: will not be around anymore or will no longer be around.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Yeah, we got call. We got color number three with
- 42:22Speaker 3: with people. We got color number three, We got colin
- 42:27Speaker 3: number three, We got colin number three, Colin number three,
- 42:32Speaker 3: Color number three, Come on in, Come on in on end.
- 42:40Speaker 3: While we waiting on Colin number three to come on in,
- 42:44Speaker 3: I really want to know so and and and and
- 42:49Speaker 3: in sight of all of the stuff that's been going on,
- 42:55Speaker 3: how do you feel shining? We look on a global platform?
- 43:00Speaker 3: How how do you think we are standing up to
- 43:03Speaker 3: all those people around us? Because Mexico don't want to
- 43:06Speaker 3: do nothing with us. They say, you want to you
- 43:09Speaker 3: want to do this, Okay, we about to do this.
- 43:10Speaker 3: So now you can't do this, So we about to
- 43:13Speaker 3: stop getting all kind of stuff from Mexico. Then you
- 43:16Speaker 3: got you got, you got Canada. They don't. The people
- 43:20Speaker 3: can't even get their Canadian whiskey. I mean they can't
- 43:24Speaker 3: get they they I mean they Kentucky whiskey. They mad
- 43:27Speaker 3: because they can't get their Kentucky whiskey and they can't
- 43:29Speaker 3: get their California wine. So you know, oh oh they upset.
- 43:36Speaker 3: They don't took all that stuff off their shelves.
- 43:41Speaker 4: Well, I mean, honestly, to answer your question, I can
- 43:43Speaker 4: make that shortened. See how we look on a global
- 43:47Speaker 4: uh from a global view, I mean all of our
- 43:50Speaker 4: people from outside of us, all the people from outside
- 43:53Speaker 4: of US who are looking at us aren't telling us
- 43:56Speaker 4: how we look like you said, Mexico said, Okay, that's
- 43:59Speaker 4: how you gonna do. They're gonna pull out because they're
- 44:01Speaker 4: not gonna fight to be a bus. They're pulling out. Uh,
- 44:06Speaker 4: they don't know what China is doing. And Canada's president
- 44:09Speaker 4: basically got on TV and said to us, he said,
- 44:13Speaker 4: hold on, let me if anybody caught that. And he said,
- 44:15Speaker 4: hold on, I want to talk to the American people.
- 44:18Speaker 4: He wasn't even trying to talk to the officials. And
- 44:20Speaker 4: he said, here, I'm sorry, what was about to happen
- 44:22Speaker 4: to you? He not do that to us? So how
- 44:31Speaker 4: we look? From everybody else? They're all feeling sorry for
- 44:34Speaker 4: us at this point. It's not We're not even a
- 44:36Speaker 4: laughing stop. It's not any of that. It's it's kind
- 44:39Speaker 4: of how I guess they can see that we were
- 44:42Speaker 4: about to vote from I guess such a high standards,
- 44:46Speaker 4: you know, such a low mobile the interior one kind
- 44:52Speaker 4: of thing. So they said, how we lost Ivory? We
- 44:56Speaker 4: we don't necessarily look like a laughing stock, but we are,
- 44:59Speaker 4: you know.
- 45:01Speaker 3: So I gotta I do. Have I got a couple
- 45:03Speaker 3: of things I want to ask you because I have
- 45:05Speaker 3: been seeing a couple of posts that have been coming out.
- 45:07Speaker 3: They've been coming out through through Forbes magazine and a
- 45:11Speaker 3: couple of more magazines. But I just want to ask
- 45:15Speaker 3: this question. So you said that Canada's president, he did.
- 45:21Speaker 3: I think his name true Trudeau, True, true, true star
- 45:24Speaker 3: with a tee. He said, he's the Prime minister. Okay,
- 45:30Speaker 3: he said, so since since he want to charge that
- 45:34Speaker 3: twenty five turf on US products, he's gonna retaliate. He said.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Trump is an idiot. He said he want to do
- 45:43Speaker 3: a trade war. We're gonna go to trade war. He
- 45:45Speaker 3: said to the American people, we do not want this,
- 45:50Speaker 3: We do not want to hurt you. But Trump has
- 45:53Speaker 3: chosen to do this to you. Now, the US stock market,
- 45:58Speaker 3: it's way down, and inflation is set to rise dramatically
- 46:02Speaker 3: all across America. Trump has put American jobs at risk.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Thousands of workplaces that that depend on Canada for material
- 46:14Speaker 3: are now going to suffer. Trump has chosen to raise
- 46:17Speaker 3: prices for Americans on groceries, gas, cars, and homes. Trump
- 46:23Speaker 3: has chosen a trading war to harm American families. That's
- 46:29Speaker 3: what he's doing. But now he's making it great. Please
- 46:33Speaker 3: tell me when it get great. Huh. All of that
- 46:37Speaker 3: no reason, But let me tell you the greatest thing
- 46:39Speaker 3: that I think he's doing the greatest thing that he's doing.
- 46:43Speaker 3: So you go in and you say breaking news that
- 46:47Speaker 3: you gonna you you you you gonna call for the
- 46:50Speaker 3: death pending for anyone who murders a police officer. Now,
- 46:54Speaker 3: let me remind you. Let me remind you.
- 46:57Speaker 1: This is the y'all talking so heavy? It doctor, God'm
- 47:02Speaker 1: talking so heavy. They cut me the hell off of
- 47:04Speaker 1: my own. Yeah, it is that I don't know what
- 47:11Speaker 1: should mean. And it's great. I can hear you loud
- 47:14Speaker 1: and play. Now, this was this that was always in
- 47:16Speaker 1: the wood work, always, So I'm gonna bring a caller on.
- 47:20Speaker 1: I'll bring her call on. And the car didn't hang up,
- 47:23Speaker 1: and I hard did not hang up, and bring our
- 47:25Speaker 1: calling on right now, call up? I got you, I
- 47:28Speaker 1: got you.
- 47:28Speaker 2: Come on. Tell you about who you are?
- 47:31Speaker 4: Uh, they say? Allows is I'm a Angela the state
- 47:35Speaker 4: of Great America. Y'all, Angela. This is chilsy girl. How
- 47:39Speaker 4: you doing this, Patricia? And this shy uh sign hugy,
- 47:43Speaker 4: this gaulty y'all y'alld Is this how so political too?
- 47:49Speaker 4: Talking about this stuff? Yes, y'all, I'm loving it, Angela.
- 47:54Speaker 4: I just want to call it support. Look, I ain't
- 47:56Speaker 4: got done. Just say, y'all get you the Angelus cutting
- 48:00Speaker 4: every corner with the d everything. Yo, I'm over here, Les.
- 48:04Speaker 4: So I just want to support your show because I
- 48:07Speaker 4: need to. Yes, I do, but you I'm listening in.
- 48:12Speaker 4: I'm listening because Ben Shy. You can hear the whole
- 48:15Speaker 4: boys too, like hold up, hold up, so hey we
- 48:20Speaker 4: we gotta.
- 48:21Speaker 2: We gotta go.
- 48:22Speaker 3: People to say, oh yeah, here.
- 48:26Speaker 4: Is that trend Antelop brought up the Hildren so that's
- 48:30Speaker 4: real funny.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, thank you.
- 48:37Speaker 4: My pip card.
- 48:39Speaker 3: But thank you for calling in and supporting. Before you leave,
- 48:43Speaker 3: we got to bring it to the table before you leave.
- 48:46Speaker 3: They not like like us, No they're not. But before
- 48:50Speaker 3: you leave, you got to tell everybody who you are.
- 48:53Speaker 3: Tell everybody who you are.
- 48:57Speaker 4: And I'm an alumni one of thes w BE and
- 49:02Speaker 4: and I'm an alumni now. But I just call them
- 49:04Speaker 4: in to support your offer about five years five and
- 49:08Speaker 4: a half years. So I just call him in to
- 49:10Speaker 4: support because that's what leadership is about. So sometimes you
- 49:13Speaker 4: got to come out of something to be a real
- 49:15Speaker 4: leader and follow leaderships, not on the bench. I had
- 49:19Speaker 4: to get off the bench. You know what I'm saying.
- 49:21Speaker 4: So I just want to call them support but thank
- 49:23Speaker 4: you that I wasn't doing when I was a speaker,
- 49:26Speaker 4: just like Angela, you know what I'm saying. So I
- 49:28Speaker 4: get to watch her girl from the sidelines and to
- 49:31Speaker 4: learn true leadership. And that's part of what we're talking
- 49:33Speaker 4: about now tonight. You see what I'm saying. Oh here, honey,
- 49:37Speaker 4: I had to fall back. I had to get off
- 49:39Speaker 4: the mic. You know. Sometimes you got to go to
- 49:41Speaker 4: summer school, you know what I'm saying, and reduce the stuff.
- 49:45Speaker 2: You think.
- 49:45Speaker 4: What I'm saying something in Somar school right now.
- 49:50Speaker 3: But thank you for calling me and supporting.
- 49:54Speaker 4: Wow, thank you.
- 49:56Speaker 3: So she is on one of the LIMN hosts. She
- 50:00Speaker 3: used to be on the network, So thank you for
- 50:04Speaker 3: calling in and supporting Jerry was. She is also one
- 50:09Speaker 3: of the hosts over here on the network. She will
- 50:11Speaker 3: be back on next month. She's gonna be on my birthday,
- 50:15Speaker 3: y'all the firs. She'll be back right here on the
- 50:20Speaker 3: w b N end. So y'all tune in and and
- 50:24Speaker 3: see what she gotta say. She's one of our variety hosts.
- 50:28Speaker 3: She's always bringing she's always bringing someone on. I enjoyed
- 50:34Speaker 3: her show on last night, her amazing guests, amazing guests.
- 50:38Speaker 3: I enjoyed her last night. But back to we want
- 50:42Speaker 3: to talk about the death penalty and bringing the death
- 50:46Speaker 3: penalty for anyone that may murder an officer. So let's
- 50:50Speaker 3: talk about this. Now. This is the same Trump that
- 50:53Speaker 3: pardoned over four hundred violent insolitionists who also assaulted Capitol
- 51:00Speaker 3: police officers. Now this was done on his behalf on
- 51:04Speaker 3: January the sixth, with four officers. Wait wait, no no no, no, no, no,
- 51:10Speaker 3: no no no, four officers ultimately dying. So you you
- 51:15Speaker 3: pardon four hundred violent insurrectionsness, but then you you want
- 51:20Speaker 3: to give the death penalty to anybody that murdered officer
- 51:23Speaker 3: before officers were ultimately died doing this, So come on now,
- 51:28Speaker 3: make it make sense now like that you you you
- 51:31Speaker 3: you saying one thing and then you coming and saying
- 51:34Speaker 3: something else. Like you you you can't please everybody stop
- 51:37Speaker 3: trying to you. Boy, you you you doing that one.
- 51:42Speaker 4: But we had it we we we we all the
- 51:46Speaker 4: terrorists and coming in here.
- 51:51Speaker 3: We had it to but we headed to greatness. We
- 51:54Speaker 3: headed to greatness with tarf up, groceries up, exports down,
- 52:00Speaker 3: stock market down, consumer confidence down, chance of recession up
- 52:06Speaker 3: up up. Yet after Trump left, okay, Trump left, he
- 52:12Speaker 3: left it, Biden took over for four years, Biden start
- 52:16Speaker 3: to rebuild the US economy and then look what Trump
- 52:21Speaker 3: do in six weeks he destroyed it all again. But
- 52:24Speaker 3: yet he's making it great. Oh oh oh, I'm sorry,
- 52:28Speaker 3: I'm sorry. It's excuse me, I'm sorry. He has to
- 52:32Speaker 3: come in and turn up things and ruffle up things
- 52:36Speaker 3: and shake up things, like he got to go over
- 52:38Speaker 3: and oh, he got to go to Fort Knox and
- 52:41Speaker 3: make sure all the the goal is there. Now, what's
- 52:46Speaker 3: the purpose of that? He got to go to him
- 52:49Speaker 3: and and and vice and vice president and elon. They
- 52:53Speaker 3: got to go make sure all of the the goal
- 52:56Speaker 3: is there. And then not only that, he can he
- 53:00Speaker 3: taking these these elaborate twenty thousand dollars I know, I'm sorry.
- 53:05Speaker 3: Let me take that back, twenty million dollar trips to
- 53:09Speaker 3: I mean, ain't that much super Bowl in the world.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Ain't no way I'm finna be super bowling like that.
- 53:15Speaker 3: If you got the super Bowl twenty million dollars in
- 53:18Speaker 3: a time like this, crisis like this, and you want
- 53:21Speaker 3: to go spend twenty million on on the Super Bowl.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Come on, well, let's let's be real.
- 53:26Speaker 4: That's probably twenty out of his out of his own
- 53:29Speaker 4: bank account.
- 53:30Speaker 3: No, that wasn't out of his bank account. Baby, They
- 53:32Speaker 3: came straight, No, no, you you. We talked about this.
- 53:36Speaker 4: I mean, if you remember when he did, when he
- 53:39Speaker 4: went on his first fone of presidency, he didn't want
- 53:42Speaker 4: to be paid.
- 53:44Speaker 3: Yeah, let him say yeah, so he say, but he
- 53:49Speaker 3: denice that.
- 53:50Speaker 4: I really think it's because he wants me start paying you,
- 53:52Speaker 4: the people start paying you. Wised to be in your
- 53:54Speaker 4: tax too. But he's away. He's a night. Even the
- 53:57Speaker 4: warning that didn't get crazy President. I don't know if
- 54:00Speaker 4: they actually did it or not, because I mean something
- 54:02Speaker 4: just called the job. But so.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Well, some stuff doing some stuff, some stuff don't. Because
- 54:09Speaker 3: let me tell you something. They throwing all this stuff
- 54:11Speaker 3: around by Jasmine Crockett. But she came and she said
- 54:13Speaker 3: the record straight. She's going to let them know she
- 54:16Speaker 3: got married. They keep saying she married, and she got
- 54:20Speaker 3: all this going on, and she getting this men, and
- 54:22Speaker 3: she she said, let me tell you, let me set
- 54:23Speaker 3: this record straight. So she had a lawsuit that she
- 54:27Speaker 3: was working on and had been working on for seven
- 54:29Speaker 3: years they did settle, but they couldn't come up with
- 54:34Speaker 3: the money, and it was against somebody in the state
- 54:36Speaker 3: of Texas. I forget which county it was, but the
- 54:39Speaker 3: county could not come up with the money. She said,
- 54:41Speaker 3: if they had come up with the money, she would resign.
- 54:43Speaker 3: She currently has a lawsuit right now against the Houston
- 54:48Speaker 3: Police Department. If she win, it's for twenty two million dollars.
- 54:52Speaker 3: She said she's resigning from office. She's stepping down. She's
- 54:57Speaker 3: resigning because that's what they would make you do. She said,
- 55:00Speaker 3: she was designing and then she's gonna run for special election.
- 55:03Speaker 3: Now she's somebody that that's she's about her business and
- 55:07Speaker 3: we need some more people that like her. But we
- 55:09Speaker 3: got calling number four, y'all. We got calling number four
- 55:12Speaker 3: in Q Coling number four. If you could please stant
- 55:13Speaker 3: your name and where you're calling from, please join the conversation.
- 55:17Speaker 5: Come on, come on, peace and blessing the commissioner, besting
- 55:24Speaker 5: the truth from the front porch. My show would be
- 55:27Speaker 5: on March twenty fifth. Hi, ladies, I want to say
- 55:35Speaker 5: this to y'all. The revolution will be televised and that's
- 55:40Speaker 5: what you all are doing right now. I am really
- 55:44Speaker 5: go and joining this and what I wanted to bring
- 55:49Speaker 5: up to you all. Do you know that they are
- 55:53Speaker 5: planning on putting chips in prisoners and are in the
- 55:59Speaker 5: brain for them to be released early from their prison sentences.
- 56:06Speaker 5: I wanted to know what do you think about that?
- 56:10Speaker 3: For me, I think I haven't heard that yet, but
- 56:13Speaker 3: I think that's crazy. But if we look at a
- 56:16Speaker 3: lot that's going on, and we look at the different
- 56:18Speaker 3: things that's that's happening right now. Look, Look who's inn office.
- 56:22Speaker 3: Look Look who has control of a lot of these things.
- 56:25Speaker 3: That that is one of the things that Elon Musk does.
- 56:28Speaker 3: That that that is one we talk about startling. We
- 56:30Speaker 3: talk about a lot of these different other entities that
- 56:33Speaker 3: is connected to this man that's that's now taking on
- 56:35Speaker 3: a lot of this money, that's taken on a lot
- 56:38Speaker 3: of these contracts, that's taken on a lot. See, he's
- 56:40Speaker 3: getting rid of rid of a lot of these positions,
- 56:42Speaker 3: getting rid of a lot of these people so that
- 56:44Speaker 3: he can have nobody in place, so that he can
- 56:46Speaker 3: use these ais he can use these companies that Elon
- 56:49Speaker 3: Musk has built.
- 56:51Speaker 4: And I want to say, but for me, it's part
- 56:57Speaker 4: that it's part of the beast system. You know, when
- 57:01Speaker 4: there are chiffs in order. They then after they get
- 57:07Speaker 4: out of prison, the chip is for them to be
- 57:10Speaker 4: able to control them another sorry, and.
- 57:17Speaker 3: Her name, she's the commissioner on the network.
- 57:21Speaker 2: Oh god, oh god, oh gods.
- 57:23Speaker 1: One night, one night, let's let's be talking about and
- 57:26Speaker 1: uh it's that's why. Thenybody talking to each other and
- 57:30Speaker 1: one I lets get to the other.
- 57:32Speaker 4: Yes, I also wanted to let you all know that
- 57:35Speaker 4: this prising there will be the first firing squad execution
- 57:42Speaker 4: in South Carolina. And I'm wondering how this would affect
- 57:49Speaker 4: many of our brothers that are in prison, and that
- 57:54Speaker 4: I'm still not guilty, you know. Uh, So they are
- 58:00Speaker 4: supposed to be doing this firing squad execution this Friday
- 58:06Speaker 4: in Greenville.
- 58:07Speaker 3: County, Greenville, South Carolina. Yeah, he asks for that. That's
- 58:11Speaker 3: something that he would have asked for, not something that
- 58:13Speaker 3: they just offered him. He asks for that because that's
- 58:16Speaker 3: an option he asks for him. But I mean that
- 58:19Speaker 3: that you look at where we are. We are in
- 58:23Speaker 3: a racist We're in a racist state. I am from
- 58:26Speaker 3: South Carolina. We're in a racist state. We right now
- 58:29Speaker 3: have wildfires, we're right now we right now look like
- 58:33Speaker 3: California with fires and and and yes, that's what we're
- 58:39Speaker 3: looking like right now. Patrise, what y'all looking like? Because
- 58:44Speaker 3: North Murtle Beach, South Myrtle Beach, as well as maryle
- 58:47Speaker 3: Inlet in Georgetown, Carolina Forest and you know how far
- 58:51Speaker 3: that is from the beach. Carolina Forest has lost sixteen acres.
- 58:57Speaker 4: Yeah, not asking they're talking about why they are burning
- 59:05Speaker 4: these towns because they're trying to put in smart cities
- 59:11Speaker 4: city and I'm burning people out of their homes to
- 59:16Speaker 4: build these cities that they call smart cities.
- 59:20Speaker 5: And that's something that is correct. Well, we've gotta want
- 59:24Speaker 5: it got right? Yes, Well I want to draw up
- 59:30Speaker 5: talking about can Yes, I wanted to bring those things up,
- 59:35Speaker 5: and I wanted to see how you all felt about it.
- 59:38Speaker 5: But I love what you all are doing and how
- 59:42Speaker 5: you are bringing the information about the system.
- 59:48Speaker 2: Thank you so much for me.
- 59:51Speaker 4: You know, probably call it. Can I say something to you? Yes?
- 59:56Speaker 4: Just uh when you were talking about the Chips, that
- 59:59Speaker 4: was the only Brothers you watched it and the other
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: tell about twenty seventeen called greed, No kingsman, it's called changement,
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: and it's Samuel l. Jackson. I was just actually told
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: me about it in Bible Saty a couple of years ago,
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: and it basically said that you know they're gonna put
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: the chips in you, and my brother's Bible Sadi was
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: about making sure your spirit is grounded in the work
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: because if and when they are able to put something
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: in our strings or something that can control us, which
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: is what they thought was in the the uh COVID vaccination,
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: you know, the whole lock of stories, when they are
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: able to do that, I mean wants your spirit so
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: grounded in the word, but something in you, which is
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: what God could send us all tell us something ain't right.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Not just being able to be controlled. But if you
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: look at the movie Kingston, like I said, I've just
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: got a chance to watch it after being told about
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: it for three years, I couldn't find it. But basically
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: that chip. So what they can tell you're not following
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: what they want you to do, they can press a
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: button and you no longer exist. So yeah, I don't
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: understand how that you ahead.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: Yes, there's another movie called Recall where you see Arnold
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: swapsonnigor plan, so totally yes, total recall. He pulls the
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: chip out of his No, yes, yes, yes, so really,
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: but talk about it or the idea of it has
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: been going on for so long. A couple of years back,
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: they showed how some people from the US actually went
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: over to the different countries that result country is doing
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: it right now, but they're actually putting their bank account
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: ships in their hands. Just the same way you swap
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: your phone, you can swape your your wrists. They switch
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: your wrists open.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: And you know you have to go to another country. Now,
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: bab back up.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: From the US went over there.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: But it's right here in the US now whatever, it's
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: right here in the US now.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: And actually in the hands.
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: No, they had a company and it was on Good Morning,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Good Morning America. There was a company that they did
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: put them in their hands for them to be able
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: to clock in and out at work. So they're doing
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: it right here in the US. That ain't something they're
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: going overseas. They've already started it. And if you look
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: back at Good Morning America, it's been about a year
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: or two. I'm sure I'm not the only person that
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: saw it, but it was on Good Morning America and
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: they was talking about how this company was chipping their employees.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: You see it now. You you got companies in Florida
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: right now ran by Elon Musk that are doing the
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: same thing. You know, you got companies that are so
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: called weight loss companies that that that are doing the
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: same the same thing. So it's a lot of stuff
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: that's going on under your noses, and it's just happening.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: And just like they want to tell us that we're
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: about to start seeing falling stars, No, those are not
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: falling stars. What do you think all those the debreed
- 1:03:13Speaker 3: from all those satellites that they have been launching and
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: launching and launching and launching and launching and launching. Where
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: where else are they gonna go? They gotta come back.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: They eventually got to fall. So guess what you're not
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: seeing falling stars. You're seeing falling pieces of these satellites.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: They gotta come back. Yet, they gotta come somewhere.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: And you know what, before I leave, I would advise
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: everyone that do not read Revelation to read Revelation thirteen
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: and it will kill you exactly.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: That's the Beast system.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: So I love you, ladies, and I enjoyed it. I'm
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: gonna see to this wonderful information.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: Love y'all A man, thank you, it's the best. And
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: that is our current commissioner here. That is our current
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: commissioner here on the w B n N. I want
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: to thank her for charming in on the conversation. But
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: now let's talk about us. Let's talk about us as
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: brown people. Let's talk about us as making a difference
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: in us being the change that we desired to see
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: in this world. One thing I have realized that not
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: even just this administration, but everybody they always want to
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: wipe away our history and want to influence our history,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: what is taught to our kids and what is allowed
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: for the public. I don't know how something that we
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: endured can cause trauma to other races, but what we
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: endured seems to cause trauma to other races, So individuals
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: don't like for us to talk about it here lately. Patrice,
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: I know that you deal with a lot of banning
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: of African American books and a lot of things like
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: that with the work that you do. I want to
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: know what do what influence do you think this administration
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: will have on the way our history is being transferred down.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: I know that the majority of it, it shouldn't take
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: place in the home. But for that that is not
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: taking place in the home. You know, it should be
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: public too. We should be able to see our history.
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: We shouldn't have to, you know, wonder about our history.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: They're taking stuff out. They're saying that if it goes
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: past two thousand and eight, that they're taking it out
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: of the schools. Some of the school systems don't want
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: books in past two thousand and eight. Well we didn't
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: just drop out of the sky in two thousand and eight,
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: but well, how did we get here before that?
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Patrice, come on, you you you you in you in
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: the you. You deal with this every day with books,
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: So tell us what what's your thoughts.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: We are on the fire when it comes to the
- 1:06:17Speaker 4: book and they are now wanting to do the book
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: fan in the book family is not just for lt
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: BT to it'll talk about social shows, books that are
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: written by authors like Anthi Thomas and Teas and Reynolds
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: that talk about the interaction between young African American or
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: Brown children and the fool They want to take peoples
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: off the shelf. We should as parents be equal to
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: full in the gap, but not everybody can do that.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: So that's where your local library comes in the place.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: But then what's the protection of the library. Now the
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: libraries are being targeted. They're wanting to pull funda, They're
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: wanting to say you can't have this book, you can't
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: have that book. Well, then that only comes to the US. Now.
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: One thing I love about the church that were world
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: overcome worth all black hander in money, every and lowe
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: stuff right there. No, let's stop doing the blackest in
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: my thing and listen to me. What if that Blactree
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: month is only twenty e d. We can't expect these
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: kids to learn the three and twenty eight dingle. We
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: tell our kids the day and the black history does
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: not have to be a little but you can't. It
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: can be their grandparents. You know, your grandparents people respons
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: for nobody else. It can be stories like that. Yeah,
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: and let me get back on track. That's said the church.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: Every week they uh something at the end of service,
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: even to the point that we ask the mothers, the
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: parents of the kids. We particily. There was an African dance.
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: We talked about people who may changes in the community.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: They kids choose people and they didn't choose people that
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: strong therminis now Marley is a young black girl who
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: wanted other black young girl who WoT fifty books that
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: portrayed them. Who we need to stop rings as whole libraries. Okay, yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: you may say, oh my god, changing people can afford
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: that history teams because we have the new libraries that
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: have all these foods. We got thirty books. You have
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: of boot clothes in the community in a book clubs
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: and your community create a for that's the kid piece.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: The book literacy is the biggest thing that is with
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: these close that you have to these kids that is
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: being lost. They people, every single sat is but give
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: them a they won't know anything. So it's up to
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: us until the next yet, but there ain't no only
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: person on the body and the libraries on the fire too.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: So how do you support what you're going and you're
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: taking his library programs, I am striving seing motive of
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: colors and extra Americans or to the library programs. Well,
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: the parents will bring their kids to the library and
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: they will put them on a computer while they do
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: what they need to do. What the people bring their
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: kids to the library, you will find a book. You
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: need a book. I think that a lot.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: Yes, yes, ma'am but.
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: As a library, I mean have you you know, with
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: technology growing and evolving as a librarians, have you started
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: to see the crowds diminished in the people kids regardless
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: of the situation of you know, kids not really reading
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: books or you know even parents don't reading their kids
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: stuff like that. But just as technology is involving being
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: seen that thing, you know, one of the biggest linerans
- 1:10:24Speaker 4: on the library.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: No, I would have to say that it's the little opposite, right,
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: A lot of people are coming morning.
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: Well, Aidonia say that's my library and where I work
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: at in the city where I live at, it's a
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: litally difference. I mean, we haven't. I would say my
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: live five programs that were for adult services were more
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: attended than I've ever done before in my whole two years.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Now on the flip side, I do a contest every
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: year for the past ten years. They at the essay
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: Contest and now usually have one hundred to two hundred
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: essay and this is about black history. I've only had
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: five this year. Goes back to the schools for people
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: are scars. Then they don't want to touch it. They
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: won't do anything. But to go back to your question, No,
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: I see the readership is going up. We have kids
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: coming out in the library in the afternoons and the
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: hands picked them up. So the library are the qualient
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: little technology. We're now a community hub.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: We do.
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: We do old Carnival, we have books fare, we have
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: a figital, classes about propany. We talked about different in
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: the different types of education for our kids. So yeah,
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: they're no longer that quite technical.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: Other sit.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: I forgot that, you know, uh libraries, and the libraries
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: take my daughter school when they were younger out here
- 1:12:16Speaker 4: in Clayton County. But every other weekend, yeah, through Saturdays
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: out of the month, the library would throw little things
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: for the kids, events with painting, whatever it was. They
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: would throw event for the kids, getting the line and
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: stuff like that. But I'm more so asking, like, I
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: know my local library. When I go there, I take
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: my girls there, there's more people sitting at the table
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: that the computers are using the free Wi fis and
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: there are sitting there reading an actual book. So although
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: people are showing up at the libraries, I was more
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: so asking decline their like, you know, getting a library card.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: People rinting are actually checking out books because it is
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: so easy convenient you know, read it on an e
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: book or something like that convenience, and that's what we
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: all are looking for from type of condience like but
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: even that wik for the library.
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: But you still have people, but you still have people
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: that want an actual book. You you have people that
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: still want to pick up a book and put it
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: in their hands and they want to read an actual book.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: So you still have people that want the book. So yeah,
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: we got calling number five in Q and then we'll
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: we'll get back to the conversation. We got calling number
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: five in Q.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: Hey, gee, geez, bring beautiful Woman of God and uh special,
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: I'm really really enjoy this. I can I go back
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: and speak on why they don't want certain talk quick? Yeah, Well,
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: the reason why they don't want certain things tall, it's
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: because he's gonna prove that's story legacy. It's gonna approve
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: that everything that they took from lunch from our story right.
- 1:14:15Speaker 6: Notice down, notice the words our story was called a mystery,
- 1:14:20Speaker 6: and they took the mystery schools that used to be
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: all over this until Play of Earth, right, and they
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: took that because it goes back to a period of
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: time where Europeans did not exist. So in order for
- 1:14:37Speaker 6: to try to place them in our place, because they know,
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: they know if they can only trade their history back
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: to a certain point, but their history don't go past
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: means and means and years, including the Bible. When you're
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: really really read that story, notice them from the Adamites
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: all the way up to the way they describe the
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: Lord is saved you right, describing him where they have
- 1:15:08Speaker 6: white white wolves and seems like you've burnt in a
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: furnace and you cannot burn anything white.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: I think my mom.
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: Burned cold and that told him about black and definitely
- 1:15:20Speaker 6: didn't didn't turn white. So what they have to do
- 1:15:24Speaker 6: is supplant themselves. That's what the word.
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: Jacob really means. It means to take somebody else's place.
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: So they know the history of the Bible, right, even
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: though we existed pre Bible, before the Bible, right, But
- 1:15:42Speaker 6: if you want to use biblical karate or what's written
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: in the Choru, that's our story too.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: It didn't know it.
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: So if they was to allow certain things to be taught,
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: first of all, really don't know it. They know a
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: portion of us, but we're the most forgiven people that
- 1:16:03Speaker 6: you can imagine. They're afraid of some type of uprising,
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: but that's not our nature. Eighty five to ninety five
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: percent of our people kept that forgiveness type of nature.
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: That's not our nature.
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: Only thing that we want is to be left alone,
- 1:16:19Speaker 6: allow us to live in peace. But they don't have
- 1:16:23Speaker 6: that type of nature. And they know that they're on
- 1:16:26Speaker 6: pride of all of them, but are prior to the
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: max majority of them. And they want to try to
- 1:16:32Speaker 6: protect the land that they took. They want to try
- 1:16:35Speaker 6: to protect the lives and stuff that they told in
- 1:16:39Speaker 6: order for them to be in the positions of power.
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: And they don't want that tags anyway. When your show
- 1:16:44Speaker 6: in Rise So begins and it's funny you're talking about
- 1:16:47Speaker 6: AI and all that kind of stuff that I'll be
- 1:16:49Speaker 6: thinking about autonomous right intelligence versus artificial intelligence. Autonomous is
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: what we have been hearded, inherited, if him in and
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: living the is versus artificial intelligence. And it's gonna be
- 1:17:07Speaker 6: very very interesting anyway, Love you with heart and sold
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: of me and again audisty especial art to get and
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: that was.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Thank you, Hall of Fame Broadcast a Lifetime Achiever, Honey
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: Baka tune, we got Calling number six and Q Calling
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: number six, If you will please state your name and
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: where you're calling from. Hello, Hello, Hi.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: Net call from California. How you guys doing this evening
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: the Cali Yes, the show. I had to tell my
- 1:17:49Speaker 4: husband that called me back in twenty minutes because I
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: had to pime in. And the when you guys was
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: talking about the chick, the I google at the place
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: that because it's intuition and where they're going to get
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: the chick. They playing it in their hands. So I
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: looked at that Angela you was mentioning George Floyd. George
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: Floyd is the guy that they put the officer that
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: killed him, is who they're trying to get partner. And
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: everybody knows. Talk about injustice, and I can't leave about
- 1:18:39Speaker 4: leave out my brothers and my sisters and especially my
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: husband that has been wrongfully convicted over here in the States.
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: But we had forty seven go and harden all these
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: men that you could see farm in the capital. You
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: got diddy all of them, You got them confessing to
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: what they did. But here we had men and women
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: currently housed.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: In our prison.
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: Blunt and convicted. And the number one grace that's wrongfully
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: convicted is our black men, someone brung up childs, traffic
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: and such affect. We can go it didn't. It didn't
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: start at the borders. So take that all the way
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: back to when our people came was stolen from our land,
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: came over here, and then our ancestors, our great great
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: grandmother's being be well great and they would scrolled off
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: into secretion.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Mhm.
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: That about that.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it causes too much trauma. It causes too much
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: trauma on on everybody else, but the people that was
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: affected by it causes too much hearth to everybody else.
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: But the people that were affect about it. Go ahead now.
- 1:20:33Speaker 4: And then you guys want to say, oh God save him,
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: and you guys know your bible him. But God is love.
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: When did God start talking bad about people? He said,
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: love your neighbors. We don't love one neighbors. M hmm.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: I've been calleded a monkey, I've been called out my name,
- 1:21:06Speaker 4: and I ain't getting nothing. My grandfathers. I got four
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: grandsons still in school, and they are people people. They
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: love to talk to different people. But when you have
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: people from other racists staring down at them, whether they're Caucasian,
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: whether they are brown, brothers and sisters, but the black
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: man getting from everywhere, including our all people. Now I
- 1:21:42Speaker 4: got to go and teach them, because when we came up,
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: we was able to go out in the street and
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: play and everything. We didn't see this. But now my
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: grandkids had to deal with what my mother them dealt with.
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: It's a It's a museum in Atlanta that I went to.
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: When I was in Atlanta, I visit there. They have
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: an exhibit there, and it's a counter where you can
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: go and you can sit at that counter like you're
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: sitting in the restaurant, and you can close your put
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: on these headphones and close your eyes and you hear
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: all the hateful things that people in the fifties and
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: the sixties experience. Don't nobody want to talk about that.
- 1:22:34Speaker 4: Even our old people don't want to talk about that.
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: They want to brush all of that up under the rill. No,
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: we're trying of tweeping stuff up under the river up
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: and beat the hell out of it.
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: That road becoming a hill, it's becoming a mountains. It's
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: getting it's full, it ain't laying flat no more. People
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: don't start tripping over that road. It's time to do
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: something about it because we don't brush too much under
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: the road. Now it's time to cut that heel down.
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: But I definitely I thank you for chiming in you
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: drop some nuggets. If you would please tell everybody who
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: you are.

- 1:23:16Speaker 4: Let's Talk about It over there on the Cool Podcast
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: under the leadership of the Queen Angelo. And I just
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: want to say you guys, use your voice. Stands up
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: for what's right, Stand up for what's right. Stop falling
- 1:23:39Speaker 4: for the oakie go. This man ain't just to save us.
- 1:23:43Speaker 4: It's only one man I know what to the cross
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: to save us. Hen is y'allen to make America great?
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: He is not open your eyes gets the big picture,
- 1:23:56Speaker 4: as they tell us when we're out here driving these
- 1:23:59Speaker 4: buses and stuff. It's the big picture.
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: Well, thank you for your door.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: That's when it really affects you, guys.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: That's it. Well, thank you, thank you for stopping by
- 1:24:14Speaker 3: and sharing tonight.
- 1:24:17Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: Yeah, we got Collin number seventy Q Collin seventy. If
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: you would tab away your calling rough please.
- 1:24:29Speaker 4: Hi Anthela everyone, this is not going there. This is unique.
- 1:24:33Speaker 4: How y'all doing the night?
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: All right, how are you?
- 1:24:38Speaker 4: I'm just coming to support you know, And I was
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: just wanting to let you know my store is gonna
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: be more than lever on wbn N. I'm a co
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: host as well, and I just want to let y'all
- 1:24:54Speaker 4: know I enjoy our the topics and everything y'all was
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: talking about. And and you know, no matter what we
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: do in life, people ain't gonna never consider you a family.
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: We have to consider ourselves as a family. It's and
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: our blessings and every door that it's gonna be open,
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: it's on the way. And we have to just learn
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: to live and let live. And you have to stand
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: up for what's right, no matter how wrong. Everything wrong,
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: people try to make it right, and everything right, people
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: try to make it wrong. But God, God is gonna
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: always make a way and turn it around for us.
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: And we're not looking for no kind of handouts. And
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: God got a blessing in store for everybody. He's trying.
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: He he's high, and he looks slow. He doesn't make
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: no mistakes. And one thing I've learned in life is
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: said everybody have rips and it can sink ships. But
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: you got to learn not to believe everything. People say,
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: because everything people say don't mean that it's a voice
- 1:26:11Speaker 4: behind it. And I just want to let y'all know
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: that I am a part of w ben Inn like
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: I said, and my show will I will be co
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: hosting on it on mar Sea level. Then I'm also
- 1:26:27Speaker 4: a part of the Grooves, which I think goes there
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: on East Saturday night on Tide Being and then I
- 1:26:36Speaker 4: have my all show that I do every other Saturday,
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: that the Unique Parker Experience, and I would love for
- 1:26:44Speaker 4: y'all to tune in and all of you be blessed
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: and y'all have good topics tonight.
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: Well, I got a question for you before you go.
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: I really want to know what are your thoughts about
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: being able to have a narrative in creating and leaving
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: a legacy. What part do you play in being a
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: legacy builder?
- 1:27:15Speaker 4: Me, being a legacy building is letting my voice be
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: not all whether it is if people take it as
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: a positive or a negative. I'm gonna let always let
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: my light shine see me in me and all around me.
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: I don't try to be double standard. What you see
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: is what you get, and I'm gonna always speak truth nobody.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: A lot of people might not want to hear the truth.
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: But truth always override untruth, and we as individuals, we
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: have to let our voice speak. Not all everybody have
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: their own hiccups. Everybody have different values and different beliefs.
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: But through it all, we have to respect each other
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: and just four into each other, not just let your
- 1:28:14Speaker 4: cup or your bucket be filled and put holes in
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: the other one. We got to fill each other's budget.
- 1:28:21Speaker 4: It's no big guys and no little use with me
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: and I always try to listen and have an understanding.
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: And you got to be able to take creative criticism
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: because everybody is unique in their own way, and so
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: everybody has a brighter day. We have good days, we
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: have bad days, but you can't let your bad days
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: interfere with the vision that everyone can see. You got
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: to stay focused, say your purpose driven, and just let
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: your on see herring every opportunity you get, and that's
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: how you let I want my legacy to be I
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: don't want people to just see me as hey, this
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: is unique and YadA, YadA YadA. I want them to
- 1:29:16Speaker 4: remember me by what I'm pulling into them, not something negative,
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: but something always positive that I can help the next
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: person or whoever I come and touch with, touch their
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: lives and let their lives touch me as well, because
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: we all can learn from each other.
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: Amen, Amen, Amen, I want to thank you for timing
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: in and again. She is one of the amazing hosts
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: here on the wbn N. She's also going to be
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: co hosting a show with our producer Doctor Ngozie on
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: Saturdays as well as she's going to be launching her
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: own show. She is a part of the grief podcast
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: over on the Clue podcast, which airs every fifth Sunday.
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: Starting March thirtieth, she will be part of the grief podcast.
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: It's called Healing Voices Navigating through Grief. So she is
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: one of the individuals that will be sharing. There is
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: five of us that will be sharing. We're gonna be
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: sharing our perspective, gonna be sharing all thoughts on grief.
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: So y'all, it is now approaching in goesy time, so
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: we're gonna have our final thoughts. I wanna allow my
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: guests to share their final thoughts about what has transpired
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: on tonight, and I want them to also make sure
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: that they share how we can connect, follow and support
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: the things that they're doing. So final thoughts Patrice gonna
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: start with you. Final thoughts on tonight.
- 1:30:59Speaker 4: How thoughts unity. Yeah, let's let's get together and make
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: things happen. So that's the groundwork, which is called locals,
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: offices and work our way use. You can follow me
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: in all social media. Anything that says ef we book
- 1:31:17Speaker 4: Galle eight for three or if we book Galla prise
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: checks that's me off. If you want to talk about
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: your book, illustrators, uh, anybody dealing with literacy checking her out?
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: All right, shining, all right.
- 1:31:39Speaker 4: So my final thought of the evening is I agree
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: with the trade unity. I think we need to focus
- 1:31:45Speaker 4: on just coming together as know what we can do
- 1:31:48Speaker 4: as we know our current state of Americas is diversity
- 1:31:53Speaker 4: and divisions of both those things that we need to
- 1:31:58Speaker 4: be working on. So I'm just gonna say, let's try
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: to get together, bring some things to the table. I
- 1:32:03Speaker 4: am your host, shining background and back between podcasts and

- 1:32:17Speaker 4: Amen.
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: Well. As this conversation draws to a close, it is
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: evident that the current state of America is marked by
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: both profound challenges and opportunities for growth. Through our exploration
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: of social and political issues, we have highlighted the importance
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: of informed and diverse perspectives and shaping our national dialogue.
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: We've also reflected on the significance of various technology, thoughts, policies,
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: things that affect our decisions. In our discussion on black history,
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: we acknowledge the crucial need for accurate and comprehensive representation
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: to honor our contributions as Americans. As we look towards
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: the future. It is our collective hope that these conversations
