- 0:48Speaker 2: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:52Speaker 2: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:55Speaker 2: Trey Trendholm and Raj Sharma. Welcome inside the Treehouse, gentlemen.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Today we're going to start with a simple question. Do
- 1:06Speaker 2: you remember in coming to America when Eddie Murphy says,
- 1:09Speaker 2: when you think of trash, think of a qem. It
- 1:14Speaker 2: appears that Kardashians are taking a similar approach to advertising
- 1:18Speaker 2: their latest products. The other day we learned about Kim's
- 1:22Speaker 2: Skim's company selling Pube panties, and now Courtney's company Lemmy
- 1:28Speaker 2: is selling lollipops for vaginal health. In other words, when
- 1:32Speaker 2: you think of vagina, think of Kardashian.
- 1:40Speaker 3: And a jenner.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I saw this yesterday on Instagram, and I was immediately
- 1:51Speaker 2: not shocked, not surprised, but instead was like, makes sense.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Courtney Kardashian's company is is launching a lot lollipops for
- 2:01Speaker 2: your vagina, the newest iteration of her let me Purr supplements,
- 2:06Speaker 2: the probiotic gummies and pills designed to support vaginal health,
- 2:10Speaker 2: dropped exclusively at Target, and it comes in lollipop form.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I must say I do appreciate the imagery that I
- 2:19Speaker 2: saw along with the posts about the news of the
- 2:23Speaker 2: lollipops for your vagina, because when I saw the headline
- 2:27Speaker 2: I had questions. Thankfully, to the photographs, I was able
- 2:32Speaker 2: to understand that the lollipops are for your mouth, not
- 2:35Speaker 2: for the vagina to be inserted.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Makes sense, yes, But how many people do you think
- 2:41Speaker 4: are going to get that wrong?
- 2:43Speaker 5: A lot?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Because even though in this photo I'm showing has Courtney
- 2:48Speaker 2: in an ad sucking on a lollipop. I mean, the
- 2:51Speaker 2: headline still says it's lollipops for your vagina. So is
- 2:58Speaker 2: it a back and forth lollipop?
- 3:01Speaker 3: I mean? Reggie Bush was so.
- 3:12Speaker 5: So even though the imagery helps clarify it, a bit.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's still a little confusing about whether or not the
- 3:21Speaker 2: lollipop is only for oral consumption, So let's read on
- 3:28Speaker 2: and maybe the story will tell us. Just like the
- 3:31Speaker 2: thirty dollars per bottled gummies, the main ingreeny in the
- 3:34Speaker 2: new five ninety nine per pack lollipops is the probiotic
- 3:37Speaker 2: Bacterium Escilus coagulans.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Sounds very official. This is, you know, for probiotics.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Helped maintain the vaginal microbiome, the ecosystem of bacteria and fungi. Sorry, yeah,
- 3:52Speaker 2: fun guy that lives inside the vigime. Some research also
- 3:57Speaker 2: shows it can improve IBS symptoms like bloating, cramping, and
- 4:00Speaker 2: are The new lollipops are also made with vitamin C,
- 4:02Speaker 2: which the brand says adds a boost of antioxidants and
- 4:05Speaker 2: pro collagen benefits, plus pineapple extract for flavor. They are vegetarian,
- 4:11Speaker 2: gluten free, non GMO, and made with real sugar, clocking
- 4:14Speaker 2: in it's seventy calories per pop. This is the second
- 4:17Speaker 2: lollipop supplement from Lemmy. The first Lemmy Glow was for hair,
- 4:21Speaker 2: nails and skin and strictly limited edition. But let me
- 4:24Speaker 2: says these pops are here to stay. I still don't
- 4:30Speaker 2: see anywhere that it says whether or not these are
- 4:33Speaker 2: meant for vaginal insertion.
- 4:35Speaker 3: They are not.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Well, this is an entire New York Post story, and
- 4:41Speaker 2: it doesn't clarify whether or not you're supposed to stick
- 4:44Speaker 2: it up your twenty.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's done on purpose so that people
- 4:48Speaker 4: mess it up. But it is oral consumption, so that
- 4:52Speaker 4: you get the probiotic into your digestive system and it
- 4:54Speaker 4: clears through your bloodstream. So well, see here's what's Yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 4: it's very affordable.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Five pops. I think they're seven bucks. It's not bad.
- 5:07Speaker 2: They need to put on the packaging if it's not
- 5:09Speaker 2: on there for oral use only or not, because otherwise
- 5:14Speaker 2: you are absolutely going to have people putting these lollipops
- 5:17Speaker 2: places that they think they're intended, and if they're not
- 5:19Speaker 2: supposed to, then it's going to open them up for lawsuits,
- 5:22Speaker 2: especially if it's dangerous for the lollipops to be inserted
- 5:25Speaker 2: directly into that area.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, they're Kardashians and the lollipops are on
- 5:31Speaker 1: white sticks.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I think that because are not saying they don't.
- 5:35Speaker 5: They don't go down there. It's purely free. I mean,
- 5:39Speaker 5: Courtney's married to Travis Barker.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I mean, granted, he's more tattoo ink than he is
- 5:45Speaker 2: Caucasian nowadays.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I mean, but.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It's if you're a guy and your woman is grabbing
- 5:53Speaker 1: something Kardashian for her vagina, don't you just run.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Like hell yeah, she's the type of girl that gets
- 6:00Speaker 4: analgesic wrong.
- 6:05Speaker 5: You're right, Trey.
- 6:06Speaker 2: If if you guys were on the open market as
- 6:10Speaker 2: single men, and let's say a girl you were taking
- 6:14Speaker 2: out was talking about how much he loves all the
- 6:16Speaker 2: Kardashian products, I would hope you would see that as
- 6:19Speaker 2: the biggest red flag in the history of red flags
- 6:22Speaker 2: since Hitler and Run.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah, because I mean, best case scenario, you're gonna be emasculated,
- 6:32Speaker 1: or worst case scenario, you're gonna be castrated.
- 6:39Speaker 6: Uh.
- 6:40Speaker 2: And keep in mind, uh, Like, do you guys remember
- 6:43Speaker 2: when the Kardashians got sued for saying special shoes from
- 6:47Speaker 2: Sketchers gave them their butts? So the Kardashians are on
- 6:52Speaker 2: the record for not exactly being trust worthy with the
- 6:56Speaker 2: claims that they make in public or endorsing products. Now, granted,
- 7:00Speaker 2: the twat pops that Courtney is pushing are from her company.
- 7:06Speaker 2: The faux fur microthongs, the pube panties that Kim's company's
- 7:11Speaker 2: skims are pushing is her company. So these aren't just
- 7:15Speaker 2: strictly licensing their name deals. These are their actual companies.
- 7:21Speaker 2: But still there has to be some integrity with the
- 7:26Speaker 2: things that you are creating and selling. And I just
- 7:31Speaker 2: don't trust the Kardashians.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Integrity and the Kardashians have never been used in the
- 7:37Speaker 4: same sentence except where they lack integrity.
- 7:40Speaker 2: And that's the reason why I don't understand why people
- 7:42Speaker 2: keep buying their products. Why do you trust them, especially
- 7:45Speaker 2: when it comes to putting things in your body. Oh
- 7:49Speaker 2: it's got the Kardashian name on it, so I trust it.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Really, I mean they, I mean what they're selling is like,
- 7:58Speaker 4: look how good our skin is, Look how great bodies are.
- 8:01Speaker 4: You can have those too if you buy these products.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Most people don't realize just how much reconstructive surgery they've
- 8:07Speaker 4: had done, how much you know, botox they've had done,
- 8:10Speaker 4: how many you know, micro peels they've had done, and
- 8:13Speaker 4: that you can't afford that. So if I can show
- 8:15Speaker 4: you my face and go, But if you use this
- 8:17Speaker 4: tube of six dollars cream, you're gonna look like me.
- 8:20Speaker 4: And people, hey man, people will buy anything when it
- 8:24Speaker 4: comes to looking like a celebrity or looking good.
- 8:27Speaker 2: And and I know that, and I understand that, and
- 8:30Speaker 2: the Kardashians are capitalizing on that. That's why I just
- 8:34Speaker 2: don't understand why Joe Q and Jill Q and the
- 8:38Speaker 2: public doesn't comprehend that very basic thing. Putting the lollipop
- 8:44Speaker 2: in your in your in your cooter is not going
- 8:47Speaker 2: to make you look like Courtney Kardashian.
- 8:50Speaker 5: It's just not.
- 8:52Speaker 2: No, you might taste a little like her, but it's
- 8:56Speaker 2: you're not going to be her.
- 8:58Speaker 7: Uh.
- 8:58Speaker 2: And you guys said you didn't remember so years ago.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Sketchers when they first hit the market, they were still
- 9:06Speaker 2: trying to figure things out and figure out what kind
- 9:09Speaker 2: of a shoe company they were going to be before
- 9:11Speaker 2: they turned into the old man shoe company being pushed
- 9:14Speaker 2: by Romo. They were trying to be hip and on
- 9:19Speaker 2: the forefront of cutting edge shoe technology.
- 9:21Speaker 5: And so they had these.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Shoes from Sketchers that were promising to build and lift
- 9:28Speaker 2: your butt.
- 9:29Speaker 5: You guys remember strength shoes. Back in the day. It
- 9:32Speaker 5: was the shoes that made you walk on your tiptoes.
- 9:35Speaker 2: This is back in the nineties, and bunch of guys
- 9:37Speaker 2: on the football team, basketball team all were them because
- 9:39Speaker 2: it promised to increase your vertical leap, increase your speed,
- 9:42Speaker 2: all these things. That's what Sketchers made. They took those
- 9:45Speaker 2: strength shoes, put that same technology with an S on
- 9:49Speaker 2: the side, and hired the Kardashians to say, this is
- 9:52Speaker 2: what gave them their butts. And ironically enough, they all
- 9:56Speaker 2: got their asses sued off and Sketchers had to shift
- 9:59Speaker 2: and being we're is really comfy shoes for old men.
- 10:01Speaker 4: Now, someone in Beverly Hills there was a doctor like you, bitches,
- 10:09Speaker 4: wasn't the shoe?
- 10:09Speaker 5: Didn't get that butt from walking?
- 10:11Speaker 3: I gave you that butt? Well, twelve years of school, bitches,
- 10:16Speaker 3: that's what That's what gave you your ass. At the
- 10:19Speaker 3: end of the day.
- 10:20Speaker 1: The person who really should be capitalizing on this is
- 10:24Speaker 1: Ray j. He should be going, if you put this in,
- 10:26Speaker 1: you're gonna be a Kardashian.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Yeah, put this in. Show the tape to your mom,
- 10:34Speaker 4: let her sell it.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I'm really surprised Mama Jenner has not jumped on that train.
- 10:41Speaker 3: She's jumped on a few trains brother.
- 10:44Speaker 7: And pulled a few more.
- 10:54Speaker 8: You're in the treehouse, visit us online. I have Treehouse
- 10:58Speaker 8: on air dot com.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Let's get Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration
- 11:04Speaker 2: into the Treehouse eight three three cook DFW to get
- 11:08Speaker 2: your free roof inspection. Scheduled The website to check out
- 11:11Speaker 2: some of the amazing work they do is cookdfw dot com. Daniel,
- 11:16Speaker 2: when was the last time you went to someone's house
- 11:19Speaker 2: and you immediately saw the problem but they didn't.
- 11:23Speaker 7: You know, a lot of times people call us out
- 11:26Speaker 7: for leaks. That's a very common thing. You know, we
- 11:28Speaker 7: have a leak in our house. We don't know where
- 11:29Speaker 7: it's coming from, you know, And majority of the time
- 11:32Speaker 7: we jump up immediately on the roof and we see
- 11:34Speaker 7: a patch of missing shingles. H we see a pipe
- 11:37Speaker 7: jack flashing boot that's failed and deteriorated. And so now
- 11:41Speaker 7: every time it rains, the rain just poured pipe and
- 11:44Speaker 7: then I guess when it, you know, goes past the
- 11:47Speaker 7: insulation and all the other stuff up they the attic
- 11:49Speaker 7: and finally gets to your roof or your ceiling. Should
- 11:52Speaker 7: I say, you start noticing all that moisture building up
- 11:56Speaker 7: on your sheet rock and so it's amazing how fast
- 11:59Speaker 7: that happened. I mean, you know, I would say probably
- 12:02Speaker 7: seventy five percent of the time, leak diagnosis and finding
- 12:05Speaker 7: problems are pretty simple. But there are times where you
- 12:07Speaker 7: have to do very in depth water test. You got
- 12:10Speaker 7: to climb up in the attic and these little tiny cubbies,
- 12:13Speaker 7: I mean almost get claustrophobia sometimes and you hit in
- 12:15Speaker 7: those atticts and so you know, we try to find
- 12:18Speaker 7: it before we have to go do that. But uh, yeah,
- 12:20Speaker 7: it's it's seventy five.
- 12:23Speaker 5: Well, he's gonna be very thorough. He and his team
- 12:25Speaker 5: are very thorough.
- 12:25Speaker 2: They'll come out to your house check for any imperfections
- 12:29Speaker 2: and get those fixed for you. And they'll be honest
- 12:32Speaker 2: with you about they about what they find and they
- 12:34Speaker 2: leave and crawling those crevices where you know you don't want.
- 12:37Speaker 5: To go, that's where they go. That's where they live.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Eight three three Cook DFW or the website cookdfw dot com.

- 13:31Speaker 2: cookdfw dot com to schedule that free inspection.
- 13:35Speaker 5: Uh Raj.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I don't know if you are as familiar with Reddit
- 13:38Speaker 2: as I am and Trey is. It's a fascinating platform.
- 13:43Speaker 2: It's basically it's just one big message form that not
- 13:48Speaker 2: only doesn't die, it has thrived.
- 13:53Speaker 5: And like everything in the world.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Today, people really love to share their business online and
- 14:00Speaker 2: one of the best places for them to do it
- 14:02Speaker 2: is on Reddit, and they could do it anonymously. And
- 14:06Speaker 2: Trays has been going down the Reddit rabbit hole some
- 14:09Speaker 2: lately and he's found some really good nuggets that I
- 14:13Speaker 2: think it's.
- 14:16Speaker 5: Going to be fun for us to play with.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if it's a rabbit hole or
- 14:20Speaker 1: a sewer hole, but Reddit is interesting.
- 14:23Speaker 5: It's a little bit of both. It's a little bit
- 14:25Speaker 5: of both. Brother.
- 14:28Speaker 2: One of the great subreddits of which there are many,
- 14:32Speaker 2: but the central theme of them is am I the
- 14:35Speaker 2: A hole? And this one stands out to me not
- 14:40Speaker 2: because if it's super dramatic themes or effect on people's
- 14:46Speaker 2: inner personal relationships, but because it's something that I think
- 14:49Speaker 2: we can all equally be annoyed at with a significant other,
- 14:53Speaker 2: and that is, am I the A hole? For videotaping
- 14:56Speaker 2: my wife eating all my fries to make a point.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I'll go with no.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I mean that's I mean, you want to have the proof,
- 15:06Speaker 4: you want to be able to because you know they'll
- 15:09Speaker 4: deny it.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so you want to go, let's go to the video.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:13Speaker 2: So the downside of these subreddits and when people admit
- 15:18Speaker 2: these things and ask am I the A hole, is
- 15:20Speaker 2: they have a tendency to be very long winded, and
- 15:23Speaker 2: this one is so I have not read all of
- 15:26Speaker 2: it yet, just a little bit. I was enamored by
- 15:28Speaker 2: the headlines, so I wanted to get into it. I
- 15:30Speaker 2: think the way he meant to word this is, am
- 15:33Speaker 2: I the A hole? For videotaping my wife to make
- 15:37Speaker 2: a point because she's eating all my fries. I don't
- 15:40Speaker 2: think he's saying that his wife is eating all his
- 15:43Speaker 2: fries to make a point. Does that make sense? Yes, okay,
- 15:49Speaker 2: But then again I haven't read all of it yet,
- 15:50Speaker 2: so I don't know.
- 15:50Speaker 5: Maybe it is the other way.
- 15:52Speaker 2: I've seen many posts about wives and girlfriends who insist
- 15:55Speaker 2: they don't want anything when the husband or boyfriend is
- 15:58Speaker 2: getting food, but then proceed to eat his food. So
- 16:00Speaker 2: I apologize if this sounds familiar. I don't eat a
- 16:03Speaker 2: lot of fast food, but I do indulge when we
- 16:05Speaker 2: have long drives. My wife typically packs a lot of
- 16:07Speaker 2: healthy snacks for herself, yogurt's, kinwas salads, and the cooler
- 16:10Speaker 2: protein bars whatever I like.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Mcd's.
- 16:13Speaker 2: She claims the food is disgusting, but then invariably once
- 16:16Speaker 2: a few fries and ends up eating half of them
- 16:18Speaker 2: or more, although she always denies eating so many and
- 16:20Speaker 2: claims she just had you on the trip in question.
- 16:23Speaker 2: A couple of weeks ago, at she and I and
- 16:25Speaker 2: my thirteen year old son nick name changed. Wife needs
- 16:30Speaker 2: a bathroom, so we pull off at an exit where
- 16:31Speaker 2: there's a mcde's. Son and I go to order food
- 16:33Speaker 2: to go while she's in the bathroom. I asked her
- 16:35Speaker 2: if she wanted anything, as I always do, and she
- 16:37Speaker 2: said no, but I'll take.
- 16:38Speaker 5: A couple of your fries. One, two, three. That is
- 16:43Speaker 5: three paragraphs in so far, nine out of eleven paragraphs.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Wow, do you need any more information or are you
- 16:57Speaker 2: ready to make some sort of a judgment here?
- 17:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:01Speaker 4: I don't remember that episode of Friends where it's like
- 17:03Speaker 4: Joey doesn't share food.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Mm hmmm, I'm that guy.
- 17:08Speaker 4: I'm not gonna I won't and I'm not a fries
- 17:10Speaker 4: guy like I won't eat all of them, but I'll
- 17:12Speaker 4: be damned if you reach your grubby mits into the bag.
- 17:17Speaker 3: So I just paid for it.
- 17:19Speaker 5: You're setting a clear boundary. Oh yeah, doesn't share food.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I'll buy you your own fries. We're here. I'll just
- 17:28Speaker 3: have some ears. No, he won't.
- 17:30Speaker 2: So how does that go? The very first time you go?
- 17:34Speaker 2: You go, you tell her, hey, I'm hungry, do you
- 17:37Speaker 2: want anything? And she says no? So you go through
- 17:41Speaker 2: the drive through, you get some fries, and then she asks,
- 17:46Speaker 2: can I have some of your fries? That's when you
- 17:48Speaker 2: say no from the outset, or you let her grab
- 17:50Speaker 2: a couple.
- 17:51Speaker 4: No, no, no, there's no you say no, immediately got it.
- 17:54Speaker 4: I was like, I'll go back, we'll get you, We'll
- 17:56Speaker 4: get you your own fries. Well, I don't want that many.
- 17:58Speaker 4: We'll get you a small. They come in difference. You
- 18:01Speaker 4: can have as many as you want, don't It'm out
- 18:03Speaker 4: the window. I don't care mine my fries.
- 18:07Speaker 5: Got it? Try What about you? How have you dealt
- 18:09Speaker 5: with this situation?
- 18:11Speaker 1: Well, on this specific case, when I first started it,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm like, no, you're not the a hole. We've all
- 18:17Speaker 1: been there. But there's a key point in this that
- 18:21Speaker 1: where he mentions where I now I put it on
- 18:24Speaker 1: him that he messed up, and that is when she
- 18:27Speaker 1: said i'll have a few. That means when you ordered,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you should have ordered her her own thing of fries
- 18:34Speaker 1: because you know better if she says I don't want
- 18:37Speaker 1: any and then eats them. Yet, No, you are not
- 18:39Speaker 1: the a hole. But for not knowing your wife well
- 18:43Speaker 1: enough to know and it doesn't take rocket science. You
- 18:45Speaker 1: just if you've dated a woman, you've been through this.
- 18:48Speaker 1: When she said i'll have a few, that's your cue.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You should at least order an extra small fry because
- 18:54Speaker 1: you know she's gonna eat more than a few.
- 18:56Speaker 2: So here we've already seen two completely different approaches to
- 19:02Speaker 2: this very common problem. Trey's is to learn and adapt,
- 19:07Speaker 2: order more because you know she's going to want somewhereas
- 19:10Speaker 2: Raj takes the very blunt approach saying you said no,
- 19:13Speaker 2: therefore you get none.
- 19:16Speaker 4: I've had it in the reverse as well, where she's like,
- 19:17Speaker 4: do you want some of my fries? And I told
- 19:19Speaker 4: you I don't eat a lot of them anyway, and
- 19:21Speaker 4: I'm like, you finish, however much you're gonna have, whatever's left,
- 19:23Speaker 4: I'll take it. So I'll wait till they're done. And
- 19:26Speaker 4: so it's the basically the reverse of that, Hey, whatever
- 19:29Speaker 4: you're done, when whenever you're done eating as many as
- 19:31Speaker 4: you want, I'll take a few of whatever's left. I
- 19:34Speaker 4: think that's fair. But from the from the get go,
- 19:37Speaker 4: if you just reach into the bag, oh, we're gonna
- 19:41Speaker 4: have an issue.
- 19:43Speaker 2: He says here paragraph five. Side note, having read other
- 19:46Speaker 2: I think this is the part you're thinking of, Trey.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Side note, having read other Reddit stories on this topic,
- 19:50Speaker 2: I'm sure some will say, just order more fries, even
- 19:52Speaker 2: though she says she doesn't want anything.
- 19:53Speaker 5: I've tried that.
- 19:54Speaker 2: I get a medium for me and give her the
- 19:55Speaker 2: small from the value meal, but a medium frize is
- 19:58Speaker 2: almost four dollars, and it's over four dollars with tax.
- 20:00Speaker 2: That's adding over sixty percent of the costs of the meala.
- 20:01Speaker 2: When I've done this, she insists on not touching the
- 20:03Speaker 2: fries because I told you not to get any for me.
- 20:06Speaker 2: So now I've got a small fried a medium fried
- 20:07Speaker 2: to eat in my own, which I can do, but
- 20:08Speaker 2: it seems like a waste to spend another four dollars
- 20:10Speaker 2: since I was perfectly happy the original amount of food.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Anyway, on this day, I tell myself, don't want to
- 20:13Speaker 5: do an experiment.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I tell him after we get our food and get
- 20:15Speaker 2: back to the car, to take out all of his food,
- 20:16Speaker 2: take my burger, give it to me, take my MC
- 20:17Speaker 2: nuggets to hold them in the back seat, and then
- 20:19Speaker 2: the only thing left in the bag is my fries. Now,
- 20:21Speaker 2: admittedly a small fry at mcd's is not that many,
- 20:23Speaker 2: but it's typically at least twenty to thirty fries. I
- 20:24Speaker 2: tell them to put the bag with the fries on
- 20:26Speaker 2: the console between me and my wife's seat, and to
- 20:27Speaker 2: set up his phone take a video of the bag
- 20:28Speaker 2: from the back.
- 20:29Speaker 5: Seat, which will record it until I tell him to stop.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I tell him I am not going to put my
- 20:34Speaker 2: hand in the bag at any time, and I predicted
- 20:35Speaker 2: his mombo eat all of my fries. Sure enough, we're
- 20:38Speaker 2: driving along, eat my burger, makes some small talks, e meal,
- 20:40Speaker 2: wife's hand go into the back several times, which, of
- 20:42Speaker 2: course in the treeos no is seven. I asked my
- 20:44Speaker 2: son for my McNuggets. I eat those, fai. I eat
- 20:47Speaker 2: them sauce free. When a mist in the car chat further,
- 20:49Speaker 2: all the while smirking to myself, and I seem my
- 20:50Speaker 2: wife's hand go back in the back for some more.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Finally she says, okay, give me your garbage and starts
- 20:54Speaker 2: putting it in the mickey's bag.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I say, what are you doing? She says, cleaning up.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I say, I still need to eat my fries, and
- 20:58Speaker 2: she says, we ate them all, honey, And he says,
- 21:01Speaker 2: I'll admit I overreacted a bit here on purpose, incredulously,
- 21:04Speaker 2: annoyingly loudly.
- 21:06Speaker 3: What do you mean, we ate them all?
- 21:08Speaker 2: I haven't had any to be clear, I wasn't that bad.
- 21:11Speaker 2: This is the result I expected anyway, but I tried
- 21:13Speaker 2: to act mad. Expressing laughter. She said don't be simply
- 21:14Speaker 2: only had a couple What do you mean? And I said,
- 21:16Speaker 2: Nick had taken video of the past twenty minutes or so,
- 21:18Speaker 2: and you will not take any fries from that bag.
- 21:20Speaker 5: So they are all gone because you ate them all.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Then she blew up at me and him in a
- 21:23Speaker 2: way I did not expect, yelling about videotaping without consent.
- 21:27Speaker 5: I still got two more paragraphs here.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Hang, well, I think Raj and I have the same question. Yes,
- 21:33Speaker 1: and it's how the did you go to fast forward?
- 21:37Speaker 4: Yeah, that was the fastest I've ever seen anybody that
- 21:40Speaker 4: was outside the micromachine.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Guy, I'd like.
- 21:43Speaker 5: To point out that that was cold and I didn't
- 21:45Speaker 5: preread any of that.
- 21:46Speaker 1: And it's impressive because you went into you know, double speed.
- 21:50Speaker 5: Yeah, someone, I got Jad's job.
- 21:52Speaker 1: If anyone's listening to this listened to this podcast on
- 21:56Speaker 1: like time and a half or two, that's that's gonna
- 21:59Speaker 1: work there, mind.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Because there are people that actually do listen to podcasts
- 22:04Speaker 2: at faster than normal speed.
- 22:06Speaker 5: So that's really going to f with some people. That's great.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I was wondering, like cape cod or for to
- 22:11Speaker 3: get you on coke.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Like now, it's just sometimes when when you see because
- 22:15Speaker 2: it really does like this this story for me, it
- 22:17Speaker 2: really does take up my entire screen. It does not
- 22:21Speaker 2: need to be this long, but I felt the challenge,
- 22:25Speaker 2: and so I decided to run with it.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it wasn't that long at all when you read it.
- 22:30Speaker 1: No, it's like, you know the disclaimer on a pharmacy commercial,
- 22:38Speaker 1: like the end of our commercial.
- 22:39Speaker 4: I like, I want to know how many payments, what
- 22:41Speaker 4: kind of credit, and what kind of interest rate I'm
- 22:43Speaker 4: going to get.
- 22:45Speaker 5: I am fine print personified.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Yes, not impressive man.
- 22:51Speaker 2: And she blew up at me and him in a
- 22:53Speaker 2: way that did not expect. Now it almost feels like
- 22:55Speaker 2: I'm going in slow motion yelling about videotaping without consent,
- 22:59Speaker 2: as if I'd made a surreptitious sex tape or something
- 23:01Speaker 2: egregious like that, yelling at Nick for going along with
- 23:03Speaker 2: your father's fullest sprint, et cetera. I told her, I
- 23:04Speaker 2: just wanted to understand that she eats more of my
- 23:06Speaker 2: food than she realizes, and this is why I prefer
- 23:08Speaker 2: to just get her a separate order of fries so
- 23:09Speaker 2: that we can both enjoy her food without resentment. She
- 23:11Speaker 2: never watched the video, although I think she not believe
- 23:13Speaker 2: she did in fact eat all the fries. However, she's
- 23:15Speaker 2: been ignoring me and worse, treating our son badly, blowing
- 23:17Speaker 2: up in different little things that I'd never bothered her before
- 23:18Speaker 2: for the past two weeks, expecting an apology for videotaping her.
- 23:21Speaker 5: I guess I thought this was a harmless way to.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Make my point.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Am I the a hole?
- 23:27Speaker 3: And Dan's explodes.
- 23:29Speaker 2: He didn't even from what his post says of the
- 23:32Speaker 2: ten to eleven paragraphs, he didn't even post the video online,
- 23:35Speaker 2: which is another angle to this. If the roles had
- 23:40Speaker 2: been reversed and the wife was recording him doing something
- 23:45Speaker 2: she didn't like, it would have ended up on social media.
- 23:50Speaker 2: The guy just does it to make a point for
- 23:52Speaker 2: its intended audience, her, and she still blew the f
- 23:56Speaker 2: up at him. Just imagine if he had posted this
- 23:58Speaker 2: online and then you had thousands of people yelling back
- 24:03Speaker 2: at her, you're awful for eating this man's food when
- 24:06Speaker 2: you said you didn't want any.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I mean, she's gonna get some support from women that
- 24:10Speaker 4: do the same thing, but she also claims to eat
- 24:12Speaker 4: very healthy, so I'm sure the first couple of comments
- 24:15Speaker 4: will be some of her little snarky friends that are like, oh,
- 24:18Speaker 4: I thought the keen one salad was in the cooler,
- 24:20Speaker 4: why are you eating the fries now? So she's got
- 24:22Speaker 4: a there's a lot of attacks on different levels that
- 24:25Speaker 4: she was going to have to expect.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And keeping in mind also that some people seem to
- 24:31Speaker 2: think that if you only eat some of someone else's fries,
- 24:34Speaker 2: those calories don't count. Yes they do, They absolutely do.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Every French fry you put in your mouth, whether you
- 24:43Speaker 2: ordered it or not, your body doesn't know. It's still
- 24:45Speaker 2: going to count those calories. They're not free.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Damn the important that you are, the married man among us,
- 24:53Speaker 1: how do you handle this?
- 24:55Speaker 5: I don't.
- 24:55Speaker 2: My wife tells me I'm not allowed to eat idy
- 24:57Speaker 2: of the fries until we get home, and I'm sad.
- 25:03Speaker 1: And what happens when she eats yours?
- 25:06Speaker 5: She already she actually gets her own fries.
- 25:08Speaker 3: No, oh see, yeah, wisdom, does she let you have hers?
- 25:14Speaker 5: Uh? It's actually if there's any left, she'll offer them
- 25:18Speaker 5: to me.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 2: But that's why it makes Really, it really doesn't make sense.
- 25:21Speaker 2: You each get your own, you eat what you want.
- 25:24Speaker 2: If there's any left that the other person wants, then sure,
- 25:27Speaker 2: go for it. But my struggle is, Look, there are
- 25:31Speaker 2: two types of people in this world. You had two
- 25:34Speaker 2: types of childhoods. One is you eat some of the
- 25:39Speaker 2: French fries on the way home because that's when they're best.
- 25:43Speaker 2: The other is you're not allowed to touch the fries
- 25:46Speaker 2: until you get home. I grew up in the ladder,
- 25:51Speaker 2: meaning we got to eat fries on the way home.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Typically would order an extra fry for the car for
- 25:57Speaker 2: everyone to munch on until we got home. Tara, my wife,
- 26:01Speaker 2: grew up in the former fashion, which is no one
- 26:04Speaker 2: was allowed to touch the fries until you got home.
- 26:06Speaker 2: And I told her it's like, that's just not the
- 26:07Speaker 2: right way to go because they're soggy by the time
- 26:11Speaker 2: you get home. They're better in the car, right out
- 26:14Speaker 2: of the back.
- 26:16Speaker 1: So you put your foot down and you can have
- 26:17Speaker 1: some fries on the way home.
- 26:19Speaker 5: No, I put my foot down on the pedals so
- 26:21Speaker 5: we can get home faster.

- 27:31Speaker 2: new relationship, your lady just tested you on the food front.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Well, I was just saying, though, like there's also a
- 27:36Speaker 4: different angle that you have to look at. Sometimes they
- 27:38Speaker 4: also want to try what you're eating, so they'll offer
- 27:40Speaker 4: up the food that they have that you ordered for them,
- 27:44Speaker 4: and you didn't want any of it, so you didn't ask.
- 27:47Speaker 4: But we were at breakfast yesterday and like, do you
- 27:50Speaker 4: want to try some of my pancakes? Nope, you eat
- 27:53Speaker 4: what you're gonna eat, and if there's anything left, I'll
- 27:55Speaker 4: take a bite, because I got the Monte Cristo, which
- 27:59Speaker 4: is just incredible at this play. I can't even remember
- 28:01Speaker 4: the name of the place, but it was fantastic. And
- 28:05Speaker 4: she's like, that looks really good, and my response was
- 28:07Speaker 4: it really is?
- 28:09Speaker 3: That's it? Do you want to try some? No, it
- 28:13Speaker 3: was on the same menu you read.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I'm always fascinated by the boundaries people will set. And
- 28:20Speaker 2: you are William Travis in front of the Alamo drawing
- 28:24Speaker 2: your line in the sand, or, in this case, the
- 28:27Speaker 2: breakfast table, saying, actually, that's a different thing.
- 28:31Speaker 5: You are Gandolf.
- 28:35Speaker 2: It should have been better on my Texas history on
- 28:37Speaker 2: this one, because you're not asking for her to come
- 28:39Speaker 2: over here and fight with you alongside the money.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Crystal.
- 28:42Speaker 2: So you are a gandolf and you were saying you
- 28:44Speaker 2: shall not pass and she has to abide by it.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Oh she I mean she looked like she thoroughly enjoyed
- 28:50Speaker 3: her breakfast. I know I thoroughly enjoyed mine.
- 28:52Speaker 5: Was she mad at you for not offering up any
- 28:54Speaker 5: of your money, Crystal?
- 28:55Speaker 4: Nope, I didn't ask. She seemed very happy with the
- 29:01Speaker 4: with the food that she got. I was delighted by
- 29:03Speaker 4: the food that I got, and then the bill came,
- 29:06Speaker 4: I paid it and we went on our merry. Way
- 29:09Speaker 4: was never discussed again. There's no hey, can I try
- 29:12Speaker 4: some of yours? No, that's the answer.
- 29:17Speaker 2: So I will admit if someone asks, hey, can I try,
- 29:19Speaker 2: I'll be like, yeah, that's fine, but what But if
- 29:23Speaker 2: it starts getting more than it's like, this is my food,
- 29:27Speaker 2: I'd like it.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:29Speaker 4: Or if you're going into the restaurant and you go, hey,
- 29:32Speaker 4: do you want to split the burger here is pretty big?
- 29:35Speaker 4: Or you know the portion here is pretty big? Do
- 29:37Speaker 4: you want to split it? Then that's you know, that's
- 29:39Speaker 4: an agreement that you make entering the restaurant.
- 29:43Speaker 2: And sometimes maybe you just go full havesies, like she
- 29:46Speaker 2: orders one entree, you order an entrey. You both cut
- 29:49Speaker 2: it in half and you switch so you know, both
- 29:52Speaker 2: people get a little bit of both.
- 29:53Speaker 5: If that's if that's what you.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Want, that's a gateway. That's how it starts. That's how
- 30:02Speaker 4: it all starts. Then see what you're doing. You're you
- 30:05Speaker 4: think you're giving great advice, and then that half turns
- 30:07Speaker 4: into three quarters.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Oh, I'm not saying this is how someone should do it.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I'm just saying, different couples have different arrangements.
- 30:15Speaker 5: You need to figure out the arrangement that's going to
- 30:18Speaker 5: work for you and your relationship.
- 30:22Speaker 4: I mean, you can always tell who's who's a little
- 30:24Speaker 4: you know, who's sweet and who's selfish. You can you
- 30:27Speaker 4: can see that from how they order and how they
- 30:31Speaker 4: how they go about their consumption of said food. You'd
- 30:35Speaker 4: be like, you know, that's a very selfish person right there,
- 30:37Speaker 4: she took all.
- 30:38Speaker 2: The Just just because I've been married for thirteen years
- 30:41Speaker 2: doesn't mean I am an expert on what you should
- 30:44Speaker 2: or should not do in relationships. Because what I do
- 30:47Speaker 2: or don't do in mine may not work in yours.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I'm smart enough to realize that. That's part of the
- 30:52Speaker 2: problem people in relationships have, especially when it comes to
- 30:55Speaker 2: social media. They'll start seeing things online and think that's
- 30:59Speaker 2: how we should be. Well, those are two completely different people.
- 31:02Speaker 2: You don't know their backgrounds, their upbrings, their childhood, their experiences,
- 31:07Speaker 2: any of that stuff. You're just seeing what's right there
- 31:09Speaker 2: in front of you. So what on the surface looks
- 31:12Speaker 2: like might be a good idea might completely detonate your relationship.
- 31:17Speaker 5: If you tried to do it.
- 31:20Speaker 2: On the other hand, it might be amazing in that
- 31:22Speaker 2: you should think, well, now I need to find somebody new.
- 31:24Speaker 5: I see again, it's all this is all you know.
- 31:26Speaker 5: It's personal. You make it about you.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Trey.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Have you.
- 31:29Speaker 5: Have you crossed this bridge yet with your new lady
- 31:31Speaker 5: As far as how you're going to do the boundaries
- 31:33Speaker 5: on food, I don't have.
- 31:35Speaker 1: A big issue of sharing food, So it's it's just
- 31:40Speaker 1: not an issue. Like a couple of times we've been out,
- 31:43Speaker 1: we've actually kind of done that. Each order something and
- 31:47Speaker 1: and split it with each other.
- 31:49Speaker 5: So yeah, there it is.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Roch is shaking his head like that's the wrong thing,
- 31:54Speaker 2: Rise being so judgmental.
- 31:56Speaker 4: If it works for Trey and his new lady, it works,
- 31:59Speaker 4: and and he's gonna want what happens, mark my words.
- 32:02Speaker 4: Then she's gonna ask for hey, can you make my
- 32:05Speaker 4: peace a little bit bigger because you're not, And then
- 32:07Speaker 4: then the whole thing, and then she murders you in
- 32:10Speaker 4: your sleep.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I'm just saying, this is how it starts. And that's
- 32:14Speaker 3: why when she when she.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Murders me in my sleep, it will not be over food.
- 32:18Speaker 5: It will be for something else and still warranted.
- 32:24Speaker 4: I would just like the visual of them coming to
- 32:27Speaker 4: Trey's house to arrest her for murdering Tray and she's
- 32:30Speaker 4: eating fries.
- 32:33Speaker 5: I finally got my behalf mother, Take me away, lock
- 32:44Speaker 5: me up, throw away to the kid. It's so worthy.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I'm loving it.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Not but whatever, Uh, one more thing before we take
- 32:56Speaker 2: off for today. Speaking of food is a little segue
- 32:58Speaker 2: for us. You guys, remember when we were kids, how
- 33:02Speaker 2: they always there's always the news story about parents should
- 33:05Speaker 2: check their kids Halloween candy, make sure there's no razor
- 33:08Speaker 2: blades in it. Mh, Well, it's the it's a whole
- 33:11Speaker 2: new day and age. Now in Pennsylvania, suspected cocaine was
- 33:17Speaker 2: found in a trick or treat bag in Pennsylvania. So
- 33:20Speaker 2: now people, you know, police are asking parents would check
- 33:23Speaker 2: their children's candy after an early tricker treat in Pennsylvania.
- 33:28Speaker 2: And I'm this is another example. Kids today have it
- 33:33Speaker 2: so easy. When we were kids, it was warnings about
- 33:38Speaker 2: razor blades and your snickers. These kids are getting blow
- 33:41Speaker 2: and it's just not fair. They don't know how good
- 33:42Speaker 2: they got it.
- 33:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:44Speaker 4: I was wondering where you were going with that, because
- 33:48Speaker 4: candy nose candy, I get it sometimes that'll mess you up.
- 33:52Speaker 3: Also, pick a better neighborhood. I don't know where you're.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Oh, I imagine they're in a really nice neighborhood.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, if you're uncut Bolivia marching powder, that's a
- 34:02Speaker 2: good neighborhood.
- 34:03Speaker 5: I'm going trick retreating there.
- 34:05Speaker 1: When the parents aren't going to miss a baggy you're upscale,
- 34:10Speaker 1: I can't. I can probably tell you some neighborhoods in
