- 1:16Speaker 2: Hey everyone, it's a Tuesday night, so you know I'm here.
- 1:20Speaker 2: What a new author and a new book. So let's
- 1:24Speaker 2: go ahead and get started. Welcome to Scie bookous and friends,
- 1:28Speaker 2: and I am your girl put tree scrumble missus. Scie
- 1:32Speaker 2: book out eight four three.
- 1:35Speaker 3: And how are you guys doing tonight? Like? Literally, how
- 1:40Speaker 3: are you? Are you good?
- 1:42Speaker 2: It is? Did you just say your prayers this morning?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Did you thank God for another day? Did you go
- 1:50Speaker 2: through the day? Did you have Internet? Because I surely didn't.
- 1:55Speaker 2: It was acting up on me today. So I am
- 1:58Speaker 2: so blessed that I haven't now thanks to good old
- 2:02Speaker 2: metro PCs. But I'm blessed that I can be able
- 2:06Speaker 2: to bring this new author. Oh boy, you guys, Confessions
- 2:14Speaker 2: is in the title.
- 2:17Speaker 3: The psychopath is in the title. Y'all them two words
- 2:25Speaker 3: right now. That's scary.
- 2:28Speaker 2: But y'all, we're just gonna let her come on out.
- 2:31Speaker 2: But she can tell us about this because I'm ready
- 2:33Speaker 2: to hear about this book.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Let's bring her up. Alotis Dominique, how are you.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Thanks for having me, that is oh, thank you for
- 2:45Speaker 2: being here, and that is great that you're having a
- 2:48Speaker 2: good day. So now we're gonna first start out with
- 2:54Speaker 2: you telling us a little bit about yourself, and then
- 2:57Speaker 2: we can get title this book here.
- 3:00Speaker 3: So tell us.
- 3:02Speaker 4: All right, So I am a mother of four. I've
- 3:07Speaker 4: been running an editing and writing business for a little
- 3:10Speaker 4: over ten years now, and then I've also written seventeen books.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Did you just say seventy?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Yes?
- 3:20Speaker 3: And you a mother four? Yes?
- 3:25Speaker 5: Plan?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Do you have the.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Time late at night?
- 3:32Speaker 3: We'll let's start off there.
- 3:35Speaker 2: How does being a mother of four?
- 3:41Speaker 3: If being an author and an editor? How do you?
- 3:47Speaker 3: And I need some tips?
- 3:51Speaker 4: I try to be as organized as possible with things
- 3:54Speaker 4: because three out of the four have extracurriculars as well,
- 3:57Speaker 4: so I gotta really map out my time.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Well hold up and see see now you just added
- 4:05Speaker 2: a whole another leapt So hold up, you're a mom,
- 4:10Speaker 2: your author, you're editor, and the little people are extra
- 4:16Speaker 2: curricular activities.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yes, okay, I know. And I've seen my sister.
- 4:24Speaker 2: She has three boys and all of them are in football.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I just wow, My hat goes off to you. Oh okay,
- 4:37Speaker 2: Oh wow, So what made you want to become an author?
- 4:47Speaker 4: So I've loved writing since I was little. I love
- 4:53Speaker 4: words in general. Like you know how people say, oh,
- 4:55Speaker 4: I'm a numbers person, I'm a words person. And I've
- 4:58Speaker 4: been that way my whole life. And I'm a person
- 5:01Speaker 4: who gets bored easily. And I've never gotten bored of
- 5:04Speaker 4: writing or what it brings for me, which is a
- 5:07Speaker 4: lot of peace and just release and the way that
- 5:11Speaker 4: my writing makes people feel. So it's definitely been a
- 5:15Speaker 4: very a very helpful constant throughout my life.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Okay, so you said peace and release. Explain it.
- 5:27Speaker 4: So I have anxiety, So my brain is always thinking
- 5:31Speaker 4: of a thousand things, and so a lot of times,
- 5:36Speaker 4: in a sense, if I write stuff down, it helps
- 5:39Speaker 4: because I can get some of that out of my
- 5:40Speaker 4: head and onto paper, and then it's easier for me
- 5:43Speaker 4: to organize, because if it's all up there in my head,
- 5:46Speaker 4: I just I don't know what to do with it.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I get overwhelmed. So with writing, I have a lot
- 5:54Speaker 4: of stories in my head. And sometimes I'll start like
- 5:57Speaker 4: three different ones and I'll be like, Okay, don't make
- 5:59Speaker 4: which do you want to focus on. Let's do one
- 6:03Speaker 4: and then go to the next side.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That's that's crazy because I can barely keep myself. Anybody
- 6:11Speaker 2: can tell you anything in my mind says about that
- 6:16Speaker 2: long and and and when my mate half serious knockdown
- 6:21Speaker 2: how we got I call him knocked down, drag out?
- 6:23Speaker 3: Why because I forget things.
- 6:25Speaker 2: I am very disorganized, but asked me to find something
- 6:29Speaker 2: that I got you.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Because I know where it is. For me when it
- 6:35Speaker 3: comes to my workspace.
- 6:37Speaker 2: This organization is chaos, but for you, your organization is what
- 6:43Speaker 2: works for you.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yes, so one needs days.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Me and You're gonna have to hook up and we're
- 6:49Speaker 2: gonna have to talk about God to help me out
- 6:53Speaker 2: my little I'd be I'd be trying.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I say, I'm gonna write my stuff down and I'm
- 6:59Speaker 3: gonna do give me two d's three days. And I
- 7:03Speaker 3: thought the one news.
- 7:06Speaker 4: So and that's why I like for me when I write,
- 7:09Speaker 4: I need an outline. I may not stick to it completely,
- 7:12Speaker 4: but I need something to just have as a path
- 7:16Speaker 4: for me.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Understandable. So your books, what genres do they cross?
- 7:26Speaker 4: So I've always told people I don't want to put
- 7:28Speaker 4: myself in a box. So I always want to challenge
- 7:30Speaker 4: myself and you know, if it doesn't work out, it
- 7:32Speaker 4: just doesn't work out. But so far I've written erotica, romance,
- 7:38Speaker 4: well my erotica. One of my erotica books is also
- 7:41Speaker 4: a mystery. And then I have some positive poetry, some
- 7:48Speaker 4: kind of scary psychological poetry, things like that. And then
- 7:53Speaker 4: I recently wrote a children's book for my six year old,
- 7:57Speaker 4: and then I do self help books for my business.
- 8:02Speaker 3: So sweep for this six year old.
- 8:04Speaker 2: But let's go back to the sorotical mystery. I think
- 8:11Speaker 2: this might be a first or very few. How did
- 8:17Speaker 2: you get those two thesm? So the main character of
- 8:22Speaker 2: that one is a man, so the point of view
- 8:24Speaker 2: is from the male point of view.
- 8:26Speaker 4: And then he's also a lawyer, so it goes through
- 8:29Speaker 4: his sexcapades as well as like him working on a
- 8:33Speaker 4: specific case that is also altering his judgment with a
- 8:37Speaker 4: lot of things. When it comes to him not being
- 8:40Speaker 4: faithful to the person that he says he wants to
- 8:43Speaker 4: be with and things like that, it gets very stressful
- 8:45Speaker 4: for him. And so all these things happen and you know,
- 8:50Speaker 4: just a lot of excitement, and then there's a plot
- 8:53Speaker 4: twist in there with the few main characters and yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 4: so it's pretty interesting and it definitely surprised me. And
- 9:01Speaker 4: because I like Criminal Minds and Law and Order and
- 9:04Speaker 4: things like that, I kind of did the breakup of
- 9:07Speaker 4: each chapter in that way. So in my mind, I
- 9:09Speaker 4: hear the Law and Order noise and then I'm like,
- 9:13Speaker 4: next scene.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Yes, law No, that's what I'm talking about, totally talking about. Okay,
- 9:21Speaker 2: So I'm gonna need you to when we get off
- 9:24Speaker 2: the show, send me that title.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna read that one. I want to do that one.
- 9:30Speaker 4: So I was trading score.
- 9:32Speaker 2: So yes, this one right here, this book right here,
- 9:42Speaker 2: Confessions of a psychle Path with Pain Causes, Who, what
- 9:51Speaker 2: and why?
- 9:54Speaker 4: So going off of Law and Order, I love Criminal Minds,
- 9:58Speaker 4: Law and Order, CSI, things like that, and so I
- 10:02Speaker 4: thought it would be interesting to kind of, I guess,
- 10:07Speaker 4: write what that looks like based on what I've watched,
- 10:10Speaker 4: and then also just the experiences in the book that
- 10:13Speaker 4: cause the main characters to female to kind of go
- 10:18Speaker 4: through dealing with the traumatic experience and then how she
- 10:23Speaker 4: copes and functions after, and so I thought that would
- 10:26Speaker 4: be an interesting journey. So okay, so it's definitely a
- 10:37Speaker 4: psychological thriller. It definitely has you thinking a lot of
- 10:42Speaker 4: you know, when someone does go through a traumatic experience,
- 10:46Speaker 4: kind of which path will they go after that happens,
- 10:48Speaker 4: because you know, we have survivors of certain things and
- 10:51Speaker 4: you know they go on to lead healthy lives after that.
- 10:56Speaker 4: But then there's people who can't really escape the trump
- 11:00Speaker 4: and it does a lot of mental things to themselves.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Okay, the titles.
- 11:11Speaker 2: When when you sent me the title, I was like,
- 11:14Speaker 2: Oh God, who made her man.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Kill about five people? Does anybody die in the book?
- 11:25Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:28Speaker 3: I knew it. I knew somebody was gonna be dead.
- 11:32Speaker 6: So how do you feel with this book and the
- 11:39Speaker 6: reason why?
- 11:44Speaker 3: You know?
- 11:44Speaker 1: How?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Okay?
- 11:45Speaker 2: So I know we're not supposed to judge a book
- 11:47Speaker 2: Spike cut right, and we're also not supposed to judge
- 11:51Speaker 2: an author by his book.
- 11:54Speaker 3: But her personality is.
- 11:55Speaker 2: So bubbly, you guys in the book. I mean, if
- 11:59Speaker 2: you see the cover, I mean, oh lord, what do
- 12:05Speaker 2: we say. I'm thinking, don't make your mag is this
- 12:08Speaker 2: is not gonna be pretty trees, not at all gonna be.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Your inspiration? Didn't it work? What was your inspiration for
- 12:20Speaker 3: this book?
- 12:22Speaker 4: So honestly, you know how like someone sees a cover
- 12:25Speaker 4: and then they're like, oh, I got a story for that.
- 12:28Speaker 4: That's kind of how it was. So my cover designer, Felicia,
- 12:31Speaker 4: she is always selling pre made covers and stuff like that,
- 12:35Speaker 4: and I saw this one and I was like, yeah,
- 12:38Speaker 4: I got something for that. I don't know what yet,
- 12:40Speaker 4: but hold up, So you made the whole entire book
- 12:46Speaker 4: off the cover.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah? Sure? So what about this cover? Well, the psychopath
- 13:00Speaker 3: she does look like kind of like a carry the Yeah,
- 13:05Speaker 3: this didn't carry have blood come out.
- 13:07Speaker 2: No, that was the pig pig blood. No, hey, listen,
- 13:11Speaker 2: I gotta go sleep at night. Stop the trees.
- 13:14Speaker 3: So what about this cover? What made you say I
- 13:20Speaker 3: want this to be this?
- 13:25Speaker 4: So she she looks angry and hurt. So I don't know.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I just wanted to write something like, Okay, what caused
- 13:34Speaker 4: this hurt? Because there's a tear there, So it's like
- 13:38Speaker 4: you look really mad, but you like something happened for
- 13:41Speaker 4: you to get like this.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it does give you that traumatized type feel, but
- 13:49Speaker 2: it also gives you that teen queen murder scene type
- 13:56Speaker 2: thing going on. I just came up with at y'all,
- 14:00Speaker 2: But that's exactly how it looks it looks like if
- 14:03Speaker 2: you expand the cover, there's a crown sitting.
- 14:06Speaker 3: On her head. But I can't believe he came up
- 14:12Speaker 3: with a whole.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Book off a premium cover.
- 14:17Speaker 3: That is some talent.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I do it all the time. Like Felicia definitely
- 14:23Speaker 4: gets my money all the time. I'm just like, Okay,
- 14:26Speaker 4: I'm getting another one. I have a story eventually.
- 14:30Speaker 3: What is Felicia's last.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Name so we can go and look and see what
- 14:34Speaker 2: she got in her entourage and BB grab what's ther
- 14:37Speaker 2: last name? I believe it's Holloway. But on Facebook her
- 14:42Speaker 2: face name is Pintres and MONI.
- 14:47Speaker 3: She did my logo.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah, she did my first slogan on my very first logo,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and I went back to her and I said, can
- 14:57Speaker 2: you revamp it? And I need you to add a
- 15:00Speaker 2: mic to it. And she is the one that came
- 15:02Speaker 2: out with my little book. Hey that girl, y'all, that
- 15:06Speaker 2: girl got talent, okay, and she always got a seal
- 15:10Speaker 2: going on telling her and she I think she did,
- 15:18Speaker 2: if I'm not mistaken, I think she did the Kendrick's
- 15:21Speaker 2: cover The Flower of It.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Yes, she did.
- 15:24Speaker 2: She did the cover of my mate. His book is
- 15:27Speaker 2: flowersy y'all go hand by then be what to do.
- 15:31Speaker 2: But she is very talented, So it's great when you
- 15:34Speaker 2: have that that.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Well, it's not it's.
- 15:39Speaker 2: It's awesome that you have you can look at a
- 15:43Speaker 2: title and come up with a whole book.
- 15:46Speaker 3: So my question to.
- 15:47Speaker 2: You is what I mean, look at the cover and
- 15:50Speaker 2: come up with a book? What comes first? We know
- 15:54Speaker 2: the cover, but the title or the book? Which one
- 15:59Speaker 2: comes first?
- 16:01Speaker 4: So I think for the most part, I've had the
- 16:05Speaker 4: title because when I usually get a cover from her,
- 16:08Speaker 4: sometimes I change the title, but a lot of times
- 16:11Speaker 4: I think I keep what's there, So if I tweak
- 16:15Speaker 4: it later in the end, it's not by much. So
- 16:19Speaker 4: I can have a title and the cover and then
- 16:21Speaker 4: kind of go from there.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Awesome. So what is your ideal writing environment? Like, how
- 16:31Speaker 3: do you get the juices flowing in the head?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Do you have to have a certain chip, Do you
- 16:37Speaker 2: have to have a certain music? Do you have to
- 16:41Speaker 2: have somebody looking at you like, Mommy, what are we
- 16:43Speaker 2: doing tonight?
- 16:44Speaker 3: So I mean, how do you get that vibe going?
- 16:48Speaker 4: Honestly, I think a quiet space is the best for me.
- 16:54Speaker 4: I would say fifty percent of the time music does help.
- 16:58Speaker 4: But other times, like just THEO it is fine because
- 17:01Speaker 4: my days are usually chaotic with all the children's activities
- 17:04Speaker 4: and things like that. So when I do finally get
- 17:06Speaker 4: to sit down, Yeah, throughout the day, I think I'll
- 17:08Speaker 4: have ideas that come to me, but I just usually
- 17:11Speaker 4: write notes and then just like email it to myself,
- 17:14Speaker 4: so I know, like, oh, make this, put this here
- 17:18Speaker 4: or you know, things like that, and it'll just kind
- 17:20Speaker 4: of I guess spark what I was thinking earlier, and
- 17:25Speaker 4: then I can go ahead and write it. When I
- 17:27Speaker 4: have like the piece and quiet, I see.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I definitely, yeah, we gonna have to talk because if
- 17:33Speaker 2: I email myself, I always think less to go check
- 17:40Speaker 2: by putting my email at the top, I'll be putting
- 17:42Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff where I thought was the subject
- 17:44Speaker 2: line dog chat and then it be something like very abstract,
- 17:48Speaker 2: like what would.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I think when I put that up? And you top
- 17:51Speaker 3: of notes, write notes.
- 17:53Speaker 2: I got a whole pad of sticky notes that when
- 17:56Speaker 2: I put some down, my canto see your older ladies
- 17:59Speaker 2: skills is really.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I try to.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Somebody asked me this question today, and I think it's
- 18:09Speaker 2: a great question as an author, Where do you see
- 18:13Speaker 2: yourself in five years.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Hopefully just writing or let me rephrase that. My business
- 18:23Speaker 4: is my main income right now, and so I'm hoping
- 18:27Speaker 4: that within five years that can kind of shift over
- 18:30Speaker 4: to my writing. And I think I'll always want to
- 18:33Speaker 4: help other authors with editing and formatting their books and stuff,
- 18:36Speaker 4: because that's exciting for me and I like to see
- 18:39Speaker 4: other people be able to do what I've done, or
- 18:41Speaker 4: you know, thinking of the younger me wanting like, oh,
- 18:44Speaker 4: I want to be an author and being able to
- 18:46Speaker 4: help other people do that is really a good feeling
- 18:49Speaker 4: for me. So I'll always want to do that, but
- 18:52Speaker 4: I want it to shift where I can write more
- 18:55Speaker 4: and then have that as less of a focus for me,
- 18:58Speaker 4: and then you know, that's the dream.
- 19:04Speaker 2: So why should I go get Confessions? Well, actually, let's
- 19:08Speaker 2: step back now, let's go there. Why should I go
- 19:13Speaker 2: out and get Confessions of a psycho path?
- 19:18Speaker 4: So I think I would say my audience for this
- 19:24Speaker 4: book would be anyone who likes psychological thrillers trying to
- 19:28Speaker 4: kind of figure out what the next steps are or
- 19:31Speaker 4: kind of figure out what she's gonna do, just because
- 19:34Speaker 4: once you read what she's been through. I think those
- 19:37Speaker 4: who love psychological thrillers will have so many things in
- 19:39Speaker 4: their head like, oh my god, she's gonna do this,
- 19:41Speaker 4: she's gonna do that, she's she's gonna like. There will
- 19:45Speaker 4: be all these things that they're thinking, and then to
- 19:47Speaker 4: find out what she actually does. I think that will
- 19:49Speaker 4: be exciting. And then anybody who's looking to try out
- 19:52Speaker 4: a psychological thriller, I think this would.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Be a good book.
- 19:58Speaker 2: So you tell me when I pick up this book,
- 20:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna start talking to myself like, hold, I'm now
- 20:03Speaker 2: see I knew she should because I will talk. I
- 20:06Speaker 2: will literally act. I will talk during the movie. I
- 20:11Speaker 2: will talk in the book.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I will talk.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Because I'm not patient enough to sit and be like,
- 20:18Speaker 2: oh that was so sweet. I'm gonna be like I
- 20:22Speaker 2: knew that I knew something, but going I can't help it.
- 20:25Speaker 2: So you're telling me when I get this book, I
- 20:27Speaker 2: don't have to make sure I tell people I'm reading
- 20:29Speaker 2: this book, so nobody don't.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Think I'm crazy.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Yeah. So I mean it jumps right in, so it's
- 20:37Speaker 4: not like a long drawn out beginning. So I think
- 20:41Speaker 4: it jumps right in. It kind of gets you excited,
- 20:44Speaker 4: and once you start reading stuff, I think you will
- 20:47Speaker 4: talk to yourself like, oh my god, I can't believe
- 20:49Speaker 4: what's happening. Why is you know it'll be one of
- 20:53Speaker 4: those all right, all right?
- 20:56Speaker 2: Is there a brutal murdercying in here?
- 21:03Speaker 4: There will be there's probably a couple.
- 21:09Speaker 3: How many people were killing? And you say a couple?
- 21:13Speaker 3: Somebody don't make you mad?
- 21:14Speaker 4: You don't be like, you know, these might be justified.
- 21:21Speaker 3: She said, hold on, did you just see the death?
- 21:24Speaker 3: Sure justified in the book?
- 21:26Speaker 2: You know, I don't know who made her mad, but
- 21:29Speaker 2: she don't kill you in the book.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Did you do that? Did somebody make you mad and
- 21:34Speaker 3: you killed them in the book?
- 21:36Speaker 2: No, y'all the way she say that somebody got it
- 21:42Speaker 2: good in this book. Because remember I said, we have
- 21:49Speaker 2: these fun fun questions at the end.
- 21:53Speaker 3: So we are there. It's time for the fun question.
- 21:57Speaker 2: So in this book, what is the name of your
- 22:03Speaker 2: female main character? Her name is Alison, but she also
- 22:09Speaker 2: has change later. She got what does she have a
- 22:14Speaker 2: name change?
- 22:15Speaker 4: Later?
- 22:16Speaker 2: So first of all, her name Alison, and then the
- 22:20Speaker 2: names that that's that's one of the names you find
- 22:23Speaker 2: on the Lifetime movie that Get Out slice their husband
- 22:28Speaker 2: and they sitting up there with the apple Pie.
- 22:30Speaker 3: See that's that name right there.
- 22:33Speaker 2: So if Alison can be played by any actress, who
- 22:39Speaker 2: would she be and why?
- 22:43Speaker 4: That's a good question. I'm trying to think. You know,
- 22:50Speaker 4: that's not anything that I thought about.
- 22:54Speaker 3: I told you.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Now I'm gonna think about that. Who would be? Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 4: because I'm trying to think of like some psychological thriller
- 23:06Speaker 4: movies I've seen with female characters and I probably wouldn't
- 23:10Speaker 4: remember their name, but I could kind of describe.
- 23:13Speaker 2: But if you can give me the movie and the character,
- 23:16Speaker 2: I can find out to name the person. The logical movies,
- 23:20Speaker 2: I think the only one I've ever looked at was
- 23:24Speaker 2: the one with Regina King and her son in the
- 23:31Speaker 2: Blood on the Ground.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I think that's the only.
- 23:37Speaker 4: One with Taraji. It's kind of like a psychological.
- 23:42Speaker 3: The one she just did.
- 23:45Speaker 4: I feel like she's done a couple now.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, she did acrimony.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Yeah she's crazy.
- 23:52Speaker 2: She was past crazy, but you know what, and the
- 23:56Speaker 2: way you do kind of deserve that.
- 24:02Speaker 3: He actually paid her back. But I think she was
- 24:06Speaker 3: still Yeah, she was crazy in that one.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, See I can't look at movies like that.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Yeah, if she was too crazy or if he actually
- 24:22Speaker 4: deserved it. Those are hilarious conversations.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Okay, who is the villain in your book? So there?
- 24:38Speaker 4: I want to word it in a way that doesn't
- 24:41Speaker 4: give too much, but I would say it's a it's
- 24:47Speaker 4: a community of people. In a sense, it's one main person,
- 24:53Speaker 4: but he involves other people.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Oh Jesus, you see a community. It's a bunch of him.
- 25:05Speaker 6: Okay, whoa, let's take about that.
- 25:10Speaker 4: You know, you know.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Cat, she just chopped him. Now, Okay, what is his name?
- 25:20Speaker 4: So I don't want to give his name because okay,
- 25:24Speaker 4: it doesn't give it until later.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Oh, you'll be having people scratching their head throughout the
- 25:30Speaker 3: whole book. And let me find out.
- 25:32Speaker 2: You didn't mean to have.
- 25:33Speaker 3: A note pad next to me when I read this one?
- 25:37Speaker 4: You might, I mean, just to attract you know, all the
- 25:41Speaker 4: occurrences of things.
- 25:44Speaker 2: All see, I have not read a psychological thriller. I
- 25:54Speaker 2: do not see a book that I have read. You
- 25:57Speaker 2: might be the first one, because I like mass like that.
- 26:02Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about, all right.
- 26:04Speaker 2: If you can describe these group of people, and you
- 26:08Speaker 2: can give them a football team, what team would they be?
- 26:16Speaker 5: And and oh see I'm not a sports persona okay,
- 26:25Speaker 5: if you can give them a t if they were
- 26:27Speaker 5: characters in a TV show, what TV show would they
- 26:30Speaker 5: be on and why?
- 26:33Speaker 3: Hmm? Just by their personalities.
- 26:46Speaker 2: I love when I make the office think on the feet,
- 26:50Speaker 2: y'all just know I love this.
- 26:53Speaker 4: And then I don't watch too many like real people shows.
- 26:56Speaker 4: I'm an anime watcher, so I'm thinking.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Of like a do you'll look at that stuff. I
- 27:04Speaker 3: have a best friend.
- 27:07Speaker 2: When COVID was happening, I was bored at home and
- 27:12Speaker 2: him and my son used to sit down there and
- 27:13Speaker 2: play video games. But then him and my son started playing.
- 27:18Speaker 2: We call him the Nacharunrotto. What is that Naruto?
- 27:24Speaker 3: There you go, Nato.
- 27:26Speaker 4: I just thought of the show that would describe the
- 27:30Speaker 4: community of people. It's called dead Man Wonderland, and there's
- 27:36Speaker 4: like a community of online people that watch these other
- 27:40Speaker 4: people fight.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Dead Man won the Land. Yep, looks. I work at
- 27:54Speaker 3: a public library anime.
- 27:58Speaker 2: I got a coworker who's down there and read them
- 28:01Speaker 2: things all day long. I'm sorry, you guys, it's great stuff.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I got another co worker who does a group with them.
- 28:11Speaker 2: All I know is to read the book backwards. I
- 28:13Speaker 2: can't do it.
- 28:14Speaker 3: It is I can't. I can't. What's the one now?
- 28:17Speaker 3: The little girl as before? Steal a moon?
- 28:21Speaker 4: What what is it?
- 28:22Speaker 3: Steal a moon? Man?
- 28:26Speaker 2: So Dad, Okay, so do you subscribe to what is
- 28:33Speaker 2: called Crunchy Crunch.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:37Speaker 4: I have a huge watch list. I have a list
- 28:39Speaker 4: of shows I watched that I would watch again. I
- 28:42Speaker 4: have a list of shows that I watched but I
- 28:45Speaker 4: wouldn't watch them again.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Oh my god, she's really into it. Okay.
- 28:51Speaker 4: I really got to go to my first comic con
- 28:55Speaker 4: a few weeks ago with my friend and I cosplayed
- 28:58Speaker 4: as a demon Slayer character. His name is Tom Tureau.
- 29:02Speaker 4: So that was really fun.
- 29:06Speaker 3: A demon slayer.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I've heard a comic con. We have something down here
- 29:14Speaker 2: that was a comic con. And then I have a
- 29:17Speaker 2: library that does or Trontacon, and I mean.
- 29:21Speaker 3: They go all out with the clothing and the food
- 29:25Speaker 3: and the vendors. It is mad.
- 29:27Speaker 2: I said, I will work yourll desks all right. So
- 29:35Speaker 2: your TV show and the movie that they made from
- 29:39Speaker 2: your book, Professions of a Psychopath, they loved it. Okay,
- 29:44Speaker 2: so not a lifetime moving net. But they call and
- 29:47Speaker 2: they say, hey, we need somebody to play you in
- 29:50Speaker 2: the movie. We need for you to tell us who
- 29:54Speaker 2: you would give that honor to and why wow, and
- 30:00Speaker 2: they are playing you. It can be a star, it
- 30:03Speaker 2: can be a family member. But who would you give
- 30:06Speaker 2: that honor too? It can be anyone?
- 30:09Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 30:12Speaker 4: I I think I would say my sister, because she
- 30:18Speaker 4: looks the most like me, but she's a lot taller
- 30:22Speaker 4: than me.
- 30:25Speaker 3: He's so taller you.
- 30:27Speaker 4: I'm five to five, but she's six to one and
- 30:30Speaker 4: she's six years younger than me. But we look a
- 30:34Speaker 4: lot alike. And I mean, that'd probably be the only
- 30:37Speaker 4: person I could think who could.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Do it well.
- 30:43Speaker 2: When we are winding down, what would you like to
