- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to Jasonnewland dot com. My name's Jason Newland.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Please and listen when you can safely close your eyes.
- 0:25Speaker 2: This is going to.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Be a relaxation session. Now remember that this is your time,
- 0:47Speaker 1: your space where nothing needs to be done. Nowhere you
- 0:56Speaker 1: need to go, No one you need to impress, which
- 1:07Speaker 1: is lucky because I don't think I've impressed anyone.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Ever.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Actually, it's just you and me and a gentle journey
- 1:20Speaker 1: into relaxation, perhaps.
- 1:32Speaker 2: A few odd details.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Along the way, because sometimes the usual paths are the
- 1:51Speaker 1: ones that lead us deeply into calmness.
- 1:59Speaker 2: So you're already, Let's begin.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And find a position that feels good enough, not perfect,
- 2:26Speaker 1: because perfection is busy and tiring, just good enough.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Because you know that.
- 2:40Speaker 1: You can change the position that you're sitting or lying
- 2:46Speaker 1: down whenever you choose. As you let your body notice
- 2:58Speaker 1: the surface beneath you, supporting your body, noticing every tiny weight,
- 3:18Speaker 1: every little shift. As you imagine, your body is like
- 3:34Speaker 1: a stack of libry books being carefully placed on a shelf,
- 3:43Speaker 1: one book after another. Your head is a hardback, your
- 3:56Speaker 1: chest heavy red prit's volume, your arms slim paperbacks, and
- 4:15Speaker 1: your legs long atlases that open the places you've never been.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Feel the stocks settle, balance stables supported, all those books
- 4:54Speaker 1: nice and save, And as the lib re clases for
- 5:04Speaker 1: the night, your body feels safe, quiet.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And still.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Now noticing your breathing, know in the ordinary.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Wave done all your life.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But as if breath is slightly eccentric, you can enhale
- 6:07Speaker 1: as though you're sipping from a straw made of silk
- 6:19Speaker 1: and exiles, though you're blowing out a candle that doesn't
- 6:24Speaker 1: really want to go out, but it does anyway. It
- 6:33Speaker 1: gifts in and relaxes. It's as if each prayer had
- 6:43Speaker 1: its own personality. Some are shy, some are bold. Some
- 7:06Speaker 1: breaths tickle as they leave, others hum softly.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Just let each one.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Be different, unusual, playful, And as you notice the odd
- 8:09Speaker 1: little character of each breath, you begin.
- 8:22Speaker 2: To realize.
- 8:27Speaker 1: How much lighter the air fills, as if it's not
- 8:47Speaker 1: just oxygen, it's a kind of invisible comfort wrapping around you. Now,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I'd like you to imagine a house. Not anyhouse, This
- 9:46Speaker 1: one is filled entirely with clocks.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Clocks on the walls.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Clocks on the ceiling, clocks on the floor, some grand
- 10:32Speaker 1: some pocket sized, some ticking unoudly, some whisper in their seconds.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And in this house time does not behave normally, because
- 11:27Speaker 1: one clock goes forward, one goes backwards. One doesn't move
- 11:43Speaker 1: at all. It just sighs every so often. And you
- 12:02Speaker 1: can walk through this strange house of clocks noticing how
- 12:14Speaker 1: your own sense of time stretches and bends, because minutes.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Can feel like hours, hours.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Can feel like seconds.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And within.
- 13:00Speaker 1: This bending of time, you notice your body softening.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Slow. It feels so freeing, doesn't.
- 13:27Speaker 1: It so calm and.
- 13:33Speaker 2: So loose.
- 13:38Speaker 1: To not be chained to ordinary time? And here in
- 13:51Speaker 1: this house of clocks, relaxation is timeless, and the deep eco,
- 14:07Speaker 1: the less it matters whether you're at the beginning, middle,
- 14:13Speaker 1: or end of this session, because all you know is
- 14:24Speaker 1: that you're sinking pleasantly into the space between the dicks
- 14:39Speaker 1: and the docks. Now step outside the house into the gard.
- 15:03Speaker 1: The discarden is unusual too, because.
- 15:11Speaker 2: The flowers here.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Are soft pillows, the trees hum lullabies, and the grass
- 15:34Speaker 1: is woven from long strands of velvet. As you sit
- 15:50Speaker 1: on a bench made of clouds, and it welcomes you
- 15:56Speaker 1: like an old friend. And the most unusual thing.
- 16:15Speaker 2: The garden.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Smells like your favorite memory. It doesn't matter what it is,
- 16:31Speaker 1: because your mind chooses it. As the frequent rises and
- 16:46Speaker 1: fills you with familiarity and calm, as birds fly overhead,
- 17:09Speaker 1: but instead of singing, they tell you jokes, silly ones
- 17:32Speaker 1: to make you smile without effort, and every smile releases
- 17:47Speaker 1: a limb or tension from your body, as if each
- 17:59Speaker 1: smile is the key unlocking muscles, joints and even thoughts.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And the longer you stay in this garden, the more
- 18:25Speaker 1: ordinary stress seems like an old coat that he just
- 18:33Speaker 1: forgot to wear. It's left in an old closet somewhere,
- 18:47Speaker 1: because here everything's unusual but wonderfully safe, and you can
- 18:57Speaker 1: rest as long as you like. Now, imagine lying down
- 19:09Speaker 1: in the garden, the velvet grass cradling pillow flowers under
- 19:25Speaker 1: your head, cloud bench dissolving into soft mist around you,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and you drift deeper, weightless, oddly comfortable, as though gravity
- 20:18Speaker 1: itself has decided to let you float for a while,
- 20:39Speaker 1: and every sound, every thought becomes part of the background,
- 20:58Speaker 1: so unimportant, like old radio stations.
- 21:11Speaker 3: From the past, fade in a way, fade in a way.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Now, in a few moments, I'll bring you gently back,
- 21:50Speaker 1: but to remember you can return to the House of
- 22:00Speaker 1: Clocks or the Garden of odd Comforts any time you wish,
- 22:13Speaker 1: because they live in your imagination, waiting for you to
- 22:23Speaker 1: help you calm down and relax deeply, peacefully. If you like,
- 22:40Speaker 1: you can start to notice your breathing, the surface beneath you,
- 22:50Speaker 1: supporting your body, your body resting, stay calmness, lingering. Even
- 23:15Speaker 1: if you open your eyes, feel calmer, and when you're ready,
- 23:43Speaker 1: if you want to, you can return to the room
- 23:52Speaker 1: feeling relaxed, refreshed mm hm, and just.
- 24:03Speaker 2: A little unusually peace. Peace for
- 24:39Speaker 1: Peace f
