Late Thursday night, Russell County Search & Rescue raced against thick fog and darkness to rescue two stranded boaters and their dog on the Cumberland River—just a mile below Wolf Creek Dam. After hours of searching, the team located the group safely at the riverbank and got everyone—including the pup—home by 1 AM.
