- 2:27Sunny mornings send you. In local news, New Hampshire
- 2:32is phasing out vehicle safety inspections, which
- 2:35is causing a stir in Massachusetts, where annual
- 2:38inspections are still mandatory. While inspections
- 2:42will remain required through January 31, drivers
- 2:46must still secure their 2025 sticker. Concerns
- 2:50have been raised about safety and environmental
- 2:52impacts, as some believe that there should be
- 2:55some kind of regulation to prevent unsafe vehicles
- 2:58on the road. Mechanics emphasize that inspections
- 3:02often reveal serious issues that drivers may
- 3:05overlook, including rusted frames and failing
- 3:08brake lines. As New Hampshire moves forward,
- 3:12residents in Massachusetts are divided on whether
- 3:14to follow suit. Now on to sports. In Orlando,
- 3:24Florida, Texas coach Steve Sarkisian was uncertain
- 3:28what to expect in the Citrus Bowl without nine
- 3:31starters due to injury or the transfer portal.

- 6:05Cristobal's team will face either No. 3C Georgia
- 6:08or sixth seed Ole Miss, in the semifinals on
- 6:12January 8th. This victory marks a significant
- 6:16moment for Miami as they seek their first national
- 6:19title since 2001. In business news, the tiny
- 6:25Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan has made a remarkable
- 6:28shift towards cryptocurrency, transforming its
- 6:32economy and reducing poverty rates. Since diversifying
- 6:36into Bitcoin, the percentage of people living
- 6:39in poverty has decreased from 28 % in 2017 to
- 6:4411 .6 % in 2022. Bhutan now holds a stash of
- 6:49cryptocurrency worth $1 .3 billion, which is
- 6:53around 40 % of its gross domestic product. The
- 6:57government has launched a national digital identity
- 7:00system using blockchain technology and a nationwide

- 7:08is positioning itself as a hub for innovation,
- 7:11aiming to attract the world's best minds. In
- 7:15crypto movement, Bitcoin is down 1 % to about
- 7:19$88 ,000. Ethereum is unchanged at $3 ,000. And

- 8:17back to the show. Let's talk science. For the
- 8:21first time ever, the colossal squid might have
- 8:24shown its secret face. Did cameras finally spot
- 8:28the ocean's most elusive monster? Although it
- 8:31is the largest invertebrate species in the world,
- 8:35scientists have never glimpsed the colossal squid,
- 8:38Messenichotuthis himeltoni, in its natural habitat.
- 8:42A non -profit ocean research team named Colossal
- 8:45may have finally spotted a juvenile colossal
- 8:48squid as it traversed the waters around Antarctica.
- 8:52If true, this would be the first video of its
- 8:55kind. The team captured this footage by raking
- 8:58a deep -sea camera to a polar tourism vessel.
- 9:02Finding verified footage of a colossal squid
- 9:05remains extremely challenging. And in entertainment
- 9:11news... In the Peacock Thriller, the Copenhagen
- 9:15Test, Simu Liu portrays Alexander Hale, an intelligence
- 9:20analyst whose brain has been hacked. The series
- 9:23follows Hale, who works for an organization called
- 9:26The Orphanage, dedicated to overseeing United
- 9:29States intelligence. Although the series explores
- 9:32interesting themes, such as loyalty and integrity,
- 9:36its complicated plot becomes overwhelming. The
- 9:40character struggles with health issues while
- 9:42competing for a promotion, leading to a convoluted
- 9:45narrative. Despite its potential, the Copenhagen
- 9:49test fails to deliver a gripping experience.
- 9:52ultimately losing momentum and interest among
- 9:55viewers. Well, all righty, folks. It's time for
- 10:00the quote of the day. And today, our quote comes
- 10:04from the American author and motivational speaker,
- 10:07Zig Ziglar. And he said, you don't have to be
- 10:12great to start, but you have to start to be great.
- 10:16And that's a wrap for this morning. You can check
- 10:19out our Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok for some
- 10:23captivating aerial videos with local news and
- 10:26the weather reports. Have an amazing day, my
