- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. There's a piece of the Jeffrey Epstein story
- 0:08that almost never gets the oxygen that it deserves. When
- 0:12people talk about Epstein, the conversation usually circles the same
- 0:17familiar terrain Palm Beach, Manhattan, Little Saint James, the flights
- 0:22on the so called Lolita Express, the political connections, the billionaires,
- 0:27the celebrities. But buried beneath that well worn narrative is
- 0:31something that is far darker and far more international in scope.
- 0:37One of the least discussed components of Epstein's criminal enterprise
- 0:41was the pipeline that ran through South and Central America,
- 0:45a pipeline that investigators and survivors have repeatedly linked to
- 0:50the French modeling agent Jean lu Brunel. If you want
- 0:54to understand how Epstein's trafficking network truly operated, how it
- 0:58sustained itself for decades, you have to look at that pipeline,
- 1:02because it reveals the industrial scale of the operation. Jean
- 1:07Luke Brunel was not some peripheral character orbiting the Epstein saga.
- 1:12He was the key facilitator in a transnational recruitment system
- 1:16that fed vulnerable young women in Girls into Epstein's world.
- 1:20Brunel ran a modeling agency called EMPC Squared, which operated
- 1:24across multiple continents and maintained connections in places where economic
- 1:29desperation could be easily exploited. South America and Central America
- 1:34became prime hunting grounds. Countries like Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and
- 1:39others were filled with young women who dreamed of modeling
- 1:43careers and opportunities abroad. Brunel and his associates understood that
- 1:48dream intimately, and they weaponized it. The recruitment pitch was
- 1:52simple and devastatingly effective. Young women were promised modeling contracts,
- 1:57international travel, and entry into the glamorous world of fashion.
- 2:02They were told that they would be flown to New York, Paris,
- 2:05or Miami to begin their careers. For many families in
- 2:09economically struggling regions, this sounded like an opportunity of a lifetime.
- 2:14What those girls were actually stepping into was a system
- 2:18of blurred lines and outright trafficking. Multiple survivors have described
- 2:23how Brunell's agency functioned as a front for recruitment girls
- 2:28who would be flown to the United States under the
- 2:30guise of modeling opportunities. Some arrived legally on temporary visas
- 2:35arranged through modeling contacts. Others were moved through a network
- 2:39of handlers and intermediaries who facilitated the travel. Once they arrived,
- 2:45many found themselves pulled into Ebstein's orbit, whether that meant
- 2:48being sent to his Manhattan mansion, his pom Beach estate,
- 2:52or one of the many locations where Abstein entertained wealthy associates.
- 2:57What made this pipeline, particularly in San idious, was a
- 3:01veneer of legitimacy surrounding it. Modeling agencies are by nature
- 3:06international business. Young models frequently travel across borders for work,
- 3:11and they made the entire operation extraordinarily difficult to detect.
- 3:16A teenage girl flying from sal Pallo to Buenos Aires
- 3:19to New York with a modeling contract in hand didn't
- 3:23necessarily raise immediate red flags. On paper, everything could appear
- 3:27perfectly normal, but survivors and witnesses have painted a far
- 3:33more disturbing picture. Several women have alleged that Brunel was
- 3:37directly involved in procuring girls for Epstein, and that the
- 3:41modeling pipeline served as a recruitment funnel for Epstein's trafficking network.
- 3:46Some described parties where wealthy men were introduced to very
- 3:49young models. Others described situations where the promised modeling work
- 3:54never materialized at all, leaving them dependent on the same
- 3:58network that had brought them there. Investigators have long suspected
- 4:03that the Epstein operation function like a hub and spoke system.
- 4:07Palm Beach served as a domestic recruitment base, but the
- 4:10international component expanded the scale of the network dramatically. The
- 4:15Brunel pipeline allowed Epstein to access a steady flow of
- 4:19new victims from outside the United States, many of whom
- 4:23had little understanding of American law enforcement systems, few resources,
- 4:28and no support networks once they arrived. And that international
- 4:32dimension is critical because there reveals something about the true
- 4:36architecture of Epstein's enterprise. This wasn't simply an operation of
- 4:40a loan predator with powerful friends. It was a global
- 4:45trafficking infrastructure involving recruiters, facilitators, travel arrangements, financial channels, and
- 4:52institutional blind spots across multiple countries. Brunell's role demonstrates how
- 4:57that infrastructure operated in practice. Even more troubling is how
- 5:02long the system appears to have operated without meaningful interruption.
- 5:07Allegations about Brunell's recruitment practices circulated the modeling industry for years.
- 5:13Survivors raised concerns, rumors traveled through fashion circles and among agencies,
- 5:19yet the pipeline continued to function well into the two thousands.
- 5:23The exploitation of South and Central American victims also underscores
- 5:28a broader pattern in Epstein's operation. The deliberate targeting of vulnerability,
- 5:34economic hardship, language barriers, immigration status, and geographic distance all
- 5:40served to isolate victims and make them easier to control.
- 5:46Girls arriving from abroad were often far from home, far
- 5:49from family, and deeply dependent on the people who had
- 5:53brought them there. When investigators began to piece together the
- 5:56scale of Epstein's network, the Brunel connection repeatedly surfaced as
- 6:01one of the most disturbing threads. Brunell himself was later
- 6:05arrested in France and faced allegations tied directly to the
- 6:09recruitment of young women for Epstein. His death and custody
- 6:14closed the door on many unanswered questions, but it did
- 6:18not erase the trail of evidence pointing to a vast
- 6:21recruitment apparatus. And that's why this aspect of the Epstein
- 6:25story deserves far more scrutiny than it typically receives, because
- 6:30when you examine the Brunel pipeline, you start to see
- 6:32Epstein's operation not just as a scandal involving elites, but
- 6:36as something closer to a global trafficking enterprise, a system
- 6:41that reached deep into vulnerable communities thousands of miles away
- 6:45and pulled young women into a world they never truly
- 6:48agree to enter. Understanding that pipeline is essential if we're
- 6:53ever going to understand the full scope of what Jeffrey
- 6:56Epstein built and how many people across how many countries
- 6:59were touched by the machinery that kept it running. This
- 7:04article was published by the BBC headline Epstein used modeling
- 7:10agent to recruit girls. Brazilian women tell the BBC. This
- 7:16article was authored by Luis Fernando Toledo. If I had
- 7:21disobeyed my mother and had gone to New York, what
- 7:24might have happened to me? Ask Glacia for caute. In
- 7:28two thousand and four, as a sixteen year old living
- 7:31in the Brazilian countryside, she was taken her first steps
- 7:34in the modeling world. She says that French modeling agent
- 7:38Jean Luke Brunel visited her family home to persuade her
- 7:42mother to let her go to a modeling contest in Ecuador.
- 7:46He later killed himself in prison, accused of rape, sexual assault,
- 7:50and recruiting girls for the late US financier and sex
- 7:54offender Jeffrey Epstein. And whenever we talk about this portion
- 7:58of what Epstein was up to, I can't help but
- 8:00think about what Maritzavasquez told us during that deposition, and
- 8:05it was straight up terrifying, right about the girls and
- 8:07the women coming from places like Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, all
- 8:12these places in South America that nobody was even talking about.
- 8:16And remember the whole entire purpose of that was to
- 8:19stay off the radar of American authorities. After he was
- 8:23arrested the first time around, I'm sure as Handler's had
- 8:26that talk with him, and I think that's why we
- 8:28started to see him shift his focus more to places
- 8:31like South America and Europe, because he knew he was
- 8:34burned in America and the bullshit was over for him
- 8:37when it comes to recruiting younger girls. Back then, they
- 8:44didn't know who Brunell was. They had been introduced by
- 8:47a famous Brazilian scout. BBC News Brazil investigation has found
- 8:52evidence that Brunel used modeling agencies linked to him at
- 8:56the time to actively seek out young women and girls
- 9:00from South America for Epstein and to arrange visas for
- 9:03some of them to travel to the US. And remember,
- 9:07this is just one story. How many girls were brought
- 9:11to the US by Jean lu Brunell, by his recruiters
- 9:14and abused by Jeffrey Epstein and others. And considering that
- 9:19we know there's over a thousand victims, my guess is
- 9:23there is even more than we know about now. Hopefully
- 9:27we're going to hear from more of these women from
- 9:29South America who were abused by Jeffrey Epstein and Jean
- 9:32Lu Brunell. But I'm sure a lot of them don't
- 9:35want to bring it up ever again, don't even want
- 9:37to think about it. Another Brazilian woman who says she
- 9:44had a relationship with Epstein, showed the BBC her visa
- 9:48in name one of Brunell's agencies as her sponsor, even
- 9:51though she says she never did any modeling work for him,
- 9:54and the travel documents were arranged solely so that she
- 9:57could visit Epstein immigration fraud. How long have I been
- 10:01telling you about this? So don't tell me there were
- 10:04no crimes committed. I mean, I thought that immigration law
- 10:07was one of the dujeoor topics for the people that
- 10:10are defending Jeffrey Epstein and the administration. I thought they
- 10:13were trying to get rid of immigrants. Thought they were
- 10:16trying to get rid of people who were here under
- 10:18false pretenses. But I guess this is no big deal, right,
- 10:22no crimes who were committed here, No investigation should be initiated.
- 10:27I mean imagine saying that or thinking that, because, keep
- 10:30in mind Epstein and Brunel, they needed help to get
- 10:33these visas right, They needed people in the immigration office.
- 10:37So that's a whole last other conversation that needs to
- 10:40be had. Who was helping them out, who was on
- 10:42the take, who took money? And once again, not a
- 10:46conversation that the government wants to have. Glucia's mother was
- 10:51suspicious of Brunel, but he seemed very charming, and eventually
- 10:55she agreed her daughter could go to Ecuador without her.
- 10:58The teenager traveled with Brunell's team to Guiakil for the
- 11:03Model's New Generation competition. At the time, local newspapers were
- 11:07reported that the participants were between fifteen and nineteen years old.
- 11:13Glossia says the competition passed without any major problems, although
- 11:18she grew suspicious when she was not allowed to contact
- 11:21her family. Yeah, that's a red flag. Anytime somebody's telling
- 11:24you you can't contact your people, it's time to get
- 11:27out of dodge. Another contestant from Western Europe, who was
- 11:32sixteen at the time, remembers how Brunell's behavior struck her
- 11:36as odd. She asked not to be named, so we're
- 11:39referring to her as Laura. It was weird how he
- 11:42behaved and was always hanging out with the young Brazilian girls.
- 11:46He was behaving like a clown and only hanging out
- 11:49with the quite young girls. She says, well, that was
- 11:53for a reason. He was trying to find new girls
- 11:55for him and Jeffrey to absolutely ruin, and that's just
- 11:59the truth. Laura believes that while the competition was legit
- 12:03and well organized, he knew exactly which girls were vulnerable.
- 12:08He seemed to control their finances. She says the girls
- 12:11from Brazil and Eastern Europe countries seemed to be prime targets.
- 12:16That was the mo and it didn't matter where they
- 12:19were America, Europe, South America. It was all about vulnerable girls. Remember,
- 12:24it was all about the corrosion, right, and it was
- 12:27easier for them to rope in vulnerable girls who wanted
- 12:31to change their circumstances in life. So you promised them
- 12:35all these big, you know, opportunities, these jobs, trips, whatever.
- 12:41People want to believe that right, and make no mistakes.
- 12:44Somebody like Jean lu Bruna Do was a master manipulator.
- 12:48He knew exactly what he was doing. In fact, he
- 12:51had this whole entire thing perfected, and him and Epstein
- 12:56were able to exploit this pipeline for decades. Glossia says.
- 13:04Towards the end of the trip, Brunel offered the fly
- 13:07her to New York to take part in shows, with
- 13:10all expenses paid. At that point they had contacted her mother,
- 13:14Barbara for permission. Barbara's response, no, not a chance. They
- 13:19were only looking for childrens. Barbara says, Unfortunately they found
- 13:24my daughter. She forbade Glossia from any more involvement in
- 13:29modeling and cut ties with Brunell's network. It really was
- 13:33a narrow escape, says Glossia. In files released by the
- 13:37US government, BBC News Brazil found records showing that Epstein
- 13:41was in Gillakill on the twenty fourth and twenty fifth
- 13:45of August two thousand and four, at the same time
- 13:48as the final of the modeling competition. We also saw
- 13:52documents indicating that at least one model under sixteen who
- 13:56attended the event flew on Epstein's plan at least twice
- 13:59in the same year. And we all know the deal, right,
- 14:04Let's not be naive here. We all know why this
- 14:06little girl was flown to Jeffrey Epstein's house. But sure
- 14:09no wonder age girls, right. Imagine being one of these
- 14:12scumbags running around talking like that, and it seems like
- 14:15all the people that are talking like that are also
- 14:18super pro war. I wonder why. Glossias says that, looking back,
- 14:23without knowing it, I was in the middle of that
- 14:25storm and my mother saved me. Another Brazilian woman whom
- 14:31we are calling Anna to protect her identity, says that
- 14:34Brunel and his modeling business were instrumental in facilitating her
- 14:38relationship with Epstein. Anna was initially recruited by a Brazilian
- 14:42woman in the early two thousands in sal Palo. Anna's account,
- 14:47corroborated by documents reviewed by the BBC and cross checked
- 14:51against US Department of Justice records, shows how Brunell helped
- 14:55to arrange US visas for Brazilians. Anna says that she
- 15:00left her hometown in southern Brazil after being promised modeling
- 15:03opportunities in sal Palo by a woman who was based there.
- 15:08She says that on arrival, the woman took her documents
- 15:11and told her she now owed money for traveling photos.
- 15:15Anna says she soon realized there was no modeling work.
- 15:19She was a madam. Before I knew it, she was
- 15:21pimping me out. One of the clients was Jeffrey Epstein,
- 15:25says Anna. She described how a few weeks after her
- 15:30eighteenth birthday, the woman took her to the home of
- 15:33a prominent businessman in sal Palo. There, she says she
- 15:37heard him describe Epstein as the king of the world
- 15:39and say he likes younger girls. A few days later,
- 15:44she says that she and two other women were sent
- 15:47to a luxury hotel in sal Palo, where Epstein would
- 15:50choose one of them. He chose me, she says, And
- 15:54this is what I was telling you folks earlier. There's
- 15:56going to be women that come out from these other
- 15:59countries that we have never heard from before. And once
- 16:02one crack shows up in the dam, that's usually the
- 16:05beginning of the end. And we saw that when this
- 16:08story first broke, one person came out, then another, then another,
- 16:13then another. And my guess is internationally, we're going to
- 16:17see that process start to take place as well, especially
- 16:20in places like Brazil, Ecuador, and Peru. Keep your eyes
- 16:26on those places, because, in my opinion, there's a whole
- 16:29lass other story that still hasn't been uncovered. Anna says
- 16:36that she went to a room with Epstein where he
- 16:38asked her to remove her clothes. His thing was watching
- 16:41me while he touched himself. It was disgusting, but of
- 16:44all evils, the less for one, she says. US Justice
- 16:48Department files, including emails and flight records, place Epstein in
- 16:52Brazil at that time. She says he invited her to
- 16:56a party in the city a few days later, which
- 16:59is where she first met Brunel, and the modeling agent
- 17:02soon became instrumental in arranging a US visa. Four. She
- 17:06adds that during the party, Epstein told her that she
- 17:09was going to Paris the next day and that he
- 17:11had already arranged for her to go with them. Describing
- 17:16the trip to France, she says that Epstein would give
- 17:19me three hundred dollars. I would go out for a
- 17:21walk and give him the change, but he would tell
- 17:23me to keep the money. He would test me and
- 17:26leave money in my room, and then I would give
- 17:28it back to him and he would say I could
- 17:30keep it. All about control, right, all about manipulation, and
- 17:37all about letting her know who was calling the shots.
- 17:40That's what that's all about. Anna showed the BBC or
- 17:43a passport containing a US business visa with an annotation
- 17:47naming the agency that Brunell set up in the US,
- 17:51Karen Models of America. Anna says she never worked for
- 17:55Karen Models, but was told the paperwork would support her
- 17:58travel to the US and the only reason for her
- 18:01visa was to visit Epstein, and we know what that
- 18:04was for. She wasn't there to hang out. I'm sure
- 18:07she wasn't there to talk about Carnival or Brazilian jiu jitsu.
- 18:12For what's going on down in Rio. We know why
- 18:15Epstein had her there. Her statement matches other documents. Court
- 18:20records in US Department of Justice files indicate that Brunel
- 18:24used his agency, first Call Karen Models of America and
- 18:27later MC squared in America to attract girls from several countries,
- 18:32including miners. The same records include testimony from a former
- 18:37MC squared employee in the US saying Epstein paid for
- 18:40visas which Brunell's agency in the US arranged. Epstein had
- 18:45provided financial backing when Brunell set up MC squared in
- 18:49the US. There has never been any suggestion that any
- 18:53agency other than those managed and controlled by Brunell in
- 18:57the US were involved in any wrongdoing. Well, I have
- 19:00my doubts about that. I certainly have my doubts about
- 19:03all of that. I mean, do we really think that
- 19:05Brunell was the only dirtbag doing this and that these
- 19:08agencies were the only ones to ever get down? Somebody
- 19:12better tell Gerald Marie. Before he died, Brunell denied he
- 19:19had done anything wrong. His lawyers said that he had
- 19:22been crushed by the allegations and blamed a media judicial system.
- 19:26Oh yeah, everybody else's fault. Meanwhile, there is evidence a
- 19:32mountain high that Brunell was not only trafficking girls to
- 19:35Jeffrey Epstein, but was also having girls traffick to himself.
- 19:40Anna says that over the course of about four months,
- 19:43she traveled to the US in France with Epstein, who
- 19:46was affectionate towards her. She describes how during that time
- 19:50he paid for some English lessons. Ada says that her
- 19:55visa was canceled in Miami after US authorities questioned who
- 19:59was paying for her work and whether she was receiving
- 20:02money in the United States. She says that she traveled
- 20:06to the country at least six times to spend time
- 20:08with Epstein before the visa was canceled. She says that
- 20:13she went to his private island in the US Virgin
- 20:15Islands and thought he considered her his girlfriend until she
- 20:19found him in bed with somebody else. Until then, it
- 20:22hadn't sunk in that he did this with many girls.
- 20:26She says, on several occasions he would tell me to
- 20:29leave the house and do something, go to a museum,
- 20:32go to classes. I don't know if anything happened that
- 20:35he didn't want me to see. He liked younger girls
- 20:38and being surrounded by them. She adds that she had
- 20:41sex with them once and he likes sleeping, spooning, cuddling,
- 20:44and having his feet massaged. That all tracks sounds exactly
- 20:49like the scumbag we know. She says that Epstein once
- 20:52told her that Brunel had asked to sleep with her,
- 20:55but he refused, saying I didn't let him because you're mine.
- 20:59Anna says that she didn't know whether to feel grateful
- 21:02or more terrified, and after that she felt Brunel was
- 21:05like a wolf looking at a lamb, always with devouring eyes,
- 21:10both for other girls and me. Anna says that for
- 21:13the first meeting at the hotel and the trip to Paris,
- 21:17there was an agreement that Epstein would pay the Brazilian
- 21:19madam ten thousand dollars. She says that Epstein only paid
- 21:23part of that amount, and that she over her phone
- 21:26calls in which the woman pressured him to pay the remainder.
- 21:30This account is consistent with testimony given in twenty ten
- 21:34in court in Florida by a former accountant at mc
- 21:38squared in the US, Brunell's model agency, and cited in
- 21:41the Epstein files. The accountant said there was a Brazilian
- 21:44woman who arranged girls for Epstein and Brunel in Brazil
- 21:48and was angry over a debt. According to Anna, contact
- 21:52with the Brazilian woman who recruited her faded after she
- 21:55released the documents, but Anna continued to see Epstein. Anna
- 22:00says that after the visa was canceled, Epstein offered to
- 22:03get her a green card to live in the US,
- 22:05but she declined so she could stay close to her
- 22:08family in Brazil. And this was the whole scam, right,
- 22:12They'd get these girls locked in, they'd get them visas,
- 22:15they'd get immigration paperwork, and then they'd own them, bring
- 22:19them to America, put them in that dumbass building on
- 22:22E sixty six, and the abuse would begin. Brazil's Federal
- 22:27Public Prosecutor's office opened an investigation in February into whether
- 22:31there was recruitment network in Brazil linked to Epstein. Federal
- 22:36Prosecutor Cynthia Gabrielle Borgies from the National Anti Trafficking Unit,
- 22:41told the BBC that she wanted to speak to women
- 22:45who had contact with Epstein to work out how the
- 22:47system operated. The women themselves are not the target of
- 22:52the inquiry. What happened to Anna and others could be
- 22:56considered human trafficking for sexual exploitation, according to labor inspector
- 23:01and researcher Marissio Krepsky. He says that this type of
- 23:05crime may not be subject to statute of limitation, so
- 23:08Brazilians involved could still be held accountable. Well, that would
- 23:11be nice, huh, some accountability here. Glossia is grateful that
- 23:17she and her mother who said no, and after years
- 23:20of trying to make sense of what happened to her,
- 23:22and it feels fortunate to have left Epstein's circle and
- 23:25rebuilt her life. I think I was lucky, but I
- 23:29feel for the other women, she says, And unfortunately, I
- 23:33expect to hear more stories like this from more women
- 23:36in South America. And at some point we have to
- 23:38get around to talking about the immigration fraud that led
- 23:42to all that abuse and who signed off on it,
- 23:46because I think it's pretty clear that Jeffrey Epstein wasn't
- 23:51working alone. And when you step back and look at
- 23:56the entire Epstein saga through that lens, the Brunel pipe line,
- 24:00forces of very uncomfortable realization this wasn't just a story
- 24:04about one predator operating in elite social circles. It wasn't
- 24:09just a scandal involving wealthy men and powerful connections. What
- 24:13the Brunell operation reveals is something far more systematic. It
- 24:19shows that Epstein's enterprise had global supply lines, real functioning
- 24:23recruitment channels that reached deep into vulnerable regions and delivered
- 24:28a steady flow of young women into his orbit. That
- 24:32pipeline running through South and Central America wasn't an accident.
- 24:36It wasn't some side operation that happened on the margins
- 24:39of Epstein's world. It was a strategic component of how
- 24:43the machine sustained itself. Domestic recruitment in places like Palm
- 24:48Beach provided a local base of victims, but the international
- 24:53recruitment system dramatically expanded the scale of what Epstein was
- 24:57able to do. Jean Luke Brunell's model infrastructure provided the
- 25:01perfect cover fashion agencies move young women across borders every day.
- 25:06That normality became the camouflage for something far darker, and
- 25:11that's one of the most chilling aspects of the entire story.
- 25:15The pipeline didn't rely on force in the traditional sense.
- 25:18It relied on dreams. It relied on aspiration. Young women
- 25:23from Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and other parts of
- 25:28the region were told they had a chance at the
- 25:30modeling world. They were promised opportunity glamour away out of
- 25:35economic hardship. In reality, many of them were being steered
- 25:39into a network that existed to satisfy the appetites of
- 25:43some of the wealthiest and most powerful men on earth.
- 25:47And what makes this even more disturbing is how effectively
- 25:50the system exploited distance and isolation. A young girl flown
- 25:54thousands of miles from home doesn't have the same support
- 25:57system she would in her own country. She doesn't have
- 26:00family nearby, she doesn't necessarily speak the language fluently, she
- 26:05doesn't understand the legal system. That vulnerability becomes leverage, and
- 26:10then a trafficking operation, leverage is everything. For years, whispers
- 26:15about Brunell's circulated within the modeling industry. Survivors talked, rumors
- 26:20traveled through agencies and fashion circles, and yet the pipeline continued.
- 26:25Flights continued, recruitment continued, The system kept moving forward, quietly
- 26:31feeding Epstein's network with new victims from abroad. And that's
- 26:35why the Brunell connection is so important to understand. It
- 26:39exposes the logistical backbone of Epstein's operation. It demonstrates that
- 26:44this wasn't just a collection of crimes committed in isolation.
- 26:47It was an infrastructure, an interconnected web of recruiters, travel arrangements,
- 26:52modeling contracts, handlers, and wealthy clients, a system that cross
- 26:57borders and operated in the blind spots between jurisdictions. And
- 27:02the tragedy is that much of that system was never
- 27:05fully dismantled in a court of law. Jean lu Brunel
- 27:08died in custody before facing trial. Epstein himself died before
- 27:12answering the full scope of the allegations against him. That
- 27:16means that many of the operational details, the full reach
- 27:20of the recruitment networks, the complete list of facilitators, the
- 27:24extent of the international pipeline, remained partially hidden, but the
- 27:29outlines are there. Survivors have described it, investigators have traced it.
- 27:34Documents and depositions have pointed to it again and again,
- 27:39a recruitment channel stretching from vulnerable communities in South and
- 27:42Central America into the heart of Epstein's world. And when
- 27:46you understand that the Epstein story stops being a scandal
- 27:50about elites behaving badly. It becomes something much larger. It
- 27:55becomes a case study and how trafficking networks can hide
- 27:59inside legitimate industries, how power and wealth can chill predation,
- 28:04how vulnerable people thousands of miles away can become commodities
- 28:09in a system designed to exploit them. That pipeline, the
- 28:13Brunel pipeline, is one of the clearest windows and how
- 28:16the Epstein machine actually worked. And if we're serious about
- 28:20understanding the full scope of that machine, then that part
- 28:24of the story can't remain hidden in the shadows any longer.
- 28:28All right, folks, that's going to do it for this one.
- 28:30And to everybody who has taken some time to shoot
- 28:33me an email today for my birthday, I appreciate all
- 28:36of you. As usual. All the information that goes with
