- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Eli muss Yes, Tesla stock fell more than ten percent
- 1:05Speaker 3: after it missed earnings. He lost a lot of money.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I don't know how much money lost, but it was
- 1:09Speaker 3: a record. I think it was like another record amount
- 1:11Speaker 3: of money that was lost. Something crazy. So Tesla stock
- 1:14Speaker 3: is down. Long story short, Tesla stock was down last week.
- 1:17Speaker 3: What are three mistakes the brand is currently making and
- 1:23Speaker 3: what can they do to improve the company to make
- 1:25Speaker 3: the stock trend high? And Tesla was one of those
- 1:27Speaker 3: stocks that during the pandemic was everybody's favorite. You know,
- 1:32Speaker 3: it went up crazy during the pandemic, like crazy. A
- 1:36Speaker 3: lot of people made a lot of money just buying
- 1:37Speaker 3: the stock, a lot of people made money on options.
- 1:40Speaker 3: But now it's down. It's fifty two weeks high with
- 1:43Speaker 3: thirty three hundred and thirty six dollars is around one
- 1:46Speaker 3: hundred and sixty dollars now couple. So what's the deal
- 1:51Speaker 3: with Tesla.
- 1:53Speaker 2: And the number one? And as business owners, I think
- 1:56Speaker 2: we can all relate to this. You have to stop
- 1:59Speaker 2: cutting prices. So if you were bought a Tesla two
- 2:02Speaker 2: years ago and it was at forty five thousand, and
- 2:05Speaker 2: now it's being priced at twenty three thousand and thirty thousand,
- 2:08Speaker 2: not only is it going to cut into your margin,
- 2:10Speaker 2: but it's going to upset your customer base that bought
- 2:13Speaker 2: her a higher price. So usually even though people don't
- 2:16Speaker 2: like to pay a higher price for a business, it
- 2:19Speaker 2: does extend or widen your profit margins. Number two, I
- 2:24Speaker 2: think they need another visionary there, not to replace Elon,
- 2:28Speaker 2: but because of SpaceX, the AI project that he's launching now,
- 2:35Speaker 2: and all the other ventures he has going on. I
- 2:38Speaker 2: think he's spread a little bit too thin. And I
- 2:41Speaker 2: think you need like a he needs a Tim Cook
- 2:43Speaker 2: or a Johnny Ive in this corner. Not that they
- 2:46Speaker 2: don't have great leadership there, but I don't think they
- 2:48Speaker 2: don't have a visionary that is a kin to him
- 2:51Speaker 2: that can lead a new product cycle or new or
- 2:56Speaker 2: innovations there to make sure not only are the products great,
- 2:59Speaker 2: but the margins actually match up to where they need
- 3:02Speaker 2: to be. And three, I think they needed new products.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I posted a couple of weeks ago about an electronic bike.
- 3:09Speaker 2: They need a different products cause I think, like to me,
- 3:12Speaker 2: Tesla's like this era's version of like a Mercedes in
- 3:16Speaker 2: the nineteen nineties or nineteen eighties. I think they need
- 3:21Speaker 2: one more product in another field. And I know they
- 3:24Speaker 2: have the electronic vehicle truck, but I don't think on
- 3:27Speaker 2: the consumer side people have been like incredibly excited about
- 3:30Speaker 2: a drop for Tesla. I think that would help them
- 3:34Speaker 2: dramatically to bring the price of the stock back up
- 3:36Speaker 2: and the margins be a lot better as well.
- 3:38Speaker 4: And I will you took my number three, I'll say that,
- 3:42Speaker 4: but let's go back to number one because the word mistake,
- 3:45Speaker 4: I'm not sure if we.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Should use it.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Okay, here's why he's supposed to say, tell me more,
- 3:50Speaker 4: tell me more, Please, tell me more, Troy Well Eli,
- 3:55Speaker 4: He clearly stated that they're going for the higher value
- 3:58Speaker 4: play over the higher play, right, And so when you
- 4:01Speaker 4: think about higher value, that means that I want to
- 4:04Speaker 4: put more product out in the street. Short term, they're
- 4:07Speaker 4: going to lose money, right because they're dropping prices. But
- 4:10Speaker 4: what does a country look like in five to ten
- 4:14Speaker 4: years when everything has to be ev and eighty percent
- 4:19Speaker 4: of the vehicles of yours. I think there's a long
- 4:22Speaker 4: term play that we're missing when we when we try,
- 4:24Speaker 4: when we take a mistake in the short term gains
- 4:26Speaker 4: of it. Because if he's trying to have a larger fleet, yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 4: I'm gonna drop the prices. And so if you look
- 4:30Speaker 4: at the Model three, it's down eleven percent, the Model
- 4:33Speaker 4: why is down twenty percent. When you drop those prices,
- 4:36Speaker 4: more people can buy. But there's another part that gets
- 4:39Speaker 4: like it got to cut, it got passed over. It
- 4:42Speaker 4: the taxing centers for having evs have gone down. And
- 4:45Speaker 4: so if I have the same price and the taxing says,
- 4:48Speaker 4: they're actually going to be paying more. And so if
- 4:50Speaker 4: you think it in that term, yeah, I'll lower the
- 4:52Speaker 4: price because I know that the incentives are not at
- 4:54Speaker 4: the same as they were before, and so what kind
- 4:56Speaker 4: of off sensus.
- 4:57Speaker 2: So but I think he's.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Going for the let's take over countries because right now
- 5:02Speaker 4: he's dominated the US, but now the next market is like,
- 5:04Speaker 4: let's go dominate China, right, And so if you if
- 5:07Speaker 4: you look at the percentage of evs in America right now,
- 5:11Speaker 4: sixty three it's not even sixty three percent of evs
- 5:14Speaker 4: are teslas. You know what the next closest company is
- 5:17Speaker 4: Forward or jim GM seven percent. Yeah, that's domination, complete domination.
- 5:23Speaker 4: So I think rather than a mistake, I think we
- 5:25Speaker 4: got to look at from a long term lens here
- 5:28Speaker 4: and say like, oh, this is it. They're just trying
- 5:30Speaker 4: to have more fleet on the streets. But I think
- 5:33Speaker 4: that you're right. I think that the next thing ahead again,
- 5:39Speaker 4: so I can put more product out on the street.
- 5:41Speaker 4: But I think you're right. I think when you start
- 5:43Speaker 4: lowering prices, you start preparing people to pay less for things.
- 5:47Speaker 4: And so when I start training people to do that,
- 5:49Speaker 4: I think the next thing is like, now introduced into
- 5:52Speaker 4: a product that is a lot less than what you
- 5:55Speaker 4: know the car is. And so maybe it's a bike
- 5:57Speaker 4: or maybe it's a lesser uh priced car. Right, So
- 6:01Speaker 4: when you think of cars, you think, when I thought
- 6:03Speaker 4: of this, I'm like, let's look at Toyota, right, Like
- 6:06Speaker 4: the camera is their staple car and most people buy
- 6:09Speaker 4: that was most popular car for years, that in the
- 6:11Speaker 4: Honda a Cord. But then they had the Corolla, right,
- 6:14Speaker 4: which was the cheaper base model of Toyota. And then
- 6:17Speaker 4: they had their high end luxury, which would be Lexus.
- 6:20Speaker 4: And so if you start looking at in terms of that,
- 6:22Speaker 4: like this episode is brought to you by P and
- 6:26Speaker 4: C Bank. A lot of people think podcasts about work
- 6:29Speaker 4: are boring, and sure they definitely can be, but understanding

- 6:40Speaker 4: P and C Bank. It might seem boring, the safe

- 8:14Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 8:18Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 8:22Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 8:26Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 8:30Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 8:34Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 8:37Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 8:42Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 8:46Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 8:49Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 8:53Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 8:57Speaker 1: never return. But if you registered using our CBP home
- 9:01Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Do what's right, Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws
- 9:09Speaker 1: border and families will.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department at Home
- 9:14Speaker 2: and Security.
- 9:14Speaker 4: There could be the bike, or it could be a
- 9:16Speaker 4: more affordable, even more affordable car. So I think that's
- 9:19Speaker 4: why you kind of play with the prices to see
- 9:20Speaker 4: what people are willing to do before you introduce a
- 9:22Speaker 4: new product.
- 9:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna ask shut you this. Does anybody ever aspire
- 9:26Speaker 2: to drive a camera or Corolla? Though?
- 9:28Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, you don't have to ask William,
- 9:34Speaker 4: do you think I worked this hard?
- 9:35Speaker 2: What did you have to work this hall for to
- 9:36Speaker 2: push the raft for? That's true.
- 9:38Speaker 4: No, I'm not saying people aspire to it, but yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 4: coming to affordability and getting a to B. If you
- 9:44Speaker 4: look at the sales of the most sold cars in America,
- 9:47Speaker 4: it's probably a Honta Accord, or it's probably a Torial camera, but.
- 9:51Speaker 2: The margins and those businesses are so and not get
- 9:53Speaker 2: he want scale. But if you look at Apple, like
- 9:55Speaker 2: when they had the old Mac Max with the colored backs,
- 10:00Speaker 2: so like we had the orange back. The thing that
- 10:02Speaker 2: make the iPod mainstream was the iPod. So I don't
- 10:06Speaker 2: know what product they can create that would get that
- 10:08Speaker 2: kind of scale. But they do need another product that
- 10:11Speaker 2: brings them to the ecosystem that makes them want to
- 10:13Speaker 2: upgrade to that. But whenever a brand has become like
- 10:18Speaker 2: mainstream or not damed, this luxury like take Coach from
- 10:23Speaker 2: in the early two thousands, with the scene perceived to
- 10:26Speaker 2: be like somewhat of a luxury now nowhere near close.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I think if you start to play with those prices
- 10:32Speaker 2: too much and make people pay less, somebody is going
- 10:36Speaker 2: to have a higher price model. Or man if Bittley
- 10:40Speaker 2: or Rolls Royce come out with an electronic version, or
- 10:42Speaker 2: they put out an electronic Virgil mayback, it may be
- 10:47Speaker 2: tough for a couple of years to elon. So I
- 10:48Speaker 2: get the strategy what he's trying to do. But I
- 10:51Speaker 2: think every time the companies are trying to like get
- 10:56Speaker 2: that scale based on price alone, it tears the margins up,
- 10:59Speaker 2: but ultimately hurst the businesses special when in a recession.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Even if those companies do it, how many people can
- 11:05Speaker 4: afford that level of luxury? Right Like, So again, if
- 11:10Speaker 4: he if he's in China, that's true, well there's more,
- 11:13Speaker 4: there's more, there's more billionaires here. But even if he
- 11:16Speaker 4: does that, right like, even if that does happen, then
- 11:19Speaker 4: the scale model it makes even more sense, right like,
- 11:22Speaker 4: because if they're putting in a high end luxury I
- 11:25Speaker 4: still have this affordability that most people can get.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 11:30Speaker 3: So are you optimistic or pestimistic about Tesla stock?
- 11:34Speaker 2: It's a great question. I'm optimistic about it. I like it.
- 11:38Speaker 2: If it gets to like one O seven to like
- 11:40Speaker 2: one O nine, that's a bi I'm a long term
- 11:44Speaker 2: holder of Tesla. I am looking forward to seeing even
- 11:48Speaker 2: though the head of somewhat successful launch of SpaceX, I
- 11:53Speaker 2: am excited to see when he gets like fully focused
- 11:56Speaker 2: back on Tesla. It's like his main idea or business
- 12:02Speaker 2: that he's focusing on. But I do like Tesla. It
- 12:04Speaker 2: is gonna slide down some But well that's that's another
- 12:08Speaker 2: thing too.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It's like a lot of people think that, you know,
- 12:11Speaker 3: he stretched himself too thin because of course he's got Twitter.
- 12:16Speaker 2: X, yes, and space x and the whole of kids.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Yeah, like twelve twelve kids. So you know that that
- 12:30Speaker 3: could potentially cause a strain on the company as well
- 12:32Speaker 3: if the leader is not fully focused on on the
- 12:36Speaker 3: job at hand.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:38Speaker 2: So are you up finist on Tesla start? Yeah?
- 12:42Speaker 3: I mean, I think that Tesla, I mean that they've
- 12:44Speaker 3: become synonymous with with e VS, So I think that
- 12:48Speaker 3: they have the the head start in the race. Just
- 12:52Speaker 3: because you have the head start doesn't mean that you
- 12:54Speaker 3: always win, and it gives you it gives you a
- 12:57Speaker 3: better chance of winning. So I think think that you know,
- 13:00Speaker 3: when you look at the ev space, they're going to
- 13:03Speaker 3: have a lot more competition in the next decade than
- 13:06Speaker 3: they had in the last decade. But everybody's going to
- 13:08Speaker 3: be having an electric car, maybe even Apple, So you know,
- 13:14Speaker 3: it's going to be a lot harder because they're going
- 13:16Speaker 3: to have more competition in the space. But they have
- 13:19Speaker 3: done a great job of you know, building their brand,
- 13:22Speaker 3: building out infrastructure, and building trust amongst customers. So I
- 13:29Speaker 3: think that that's that's helpful. But yeah, I think we
- 13:32Speaker 3: have to see what's next for them, you know, is
- 13:34Speaker 3: it is it a plane, is it the railroad system,
- 13:37Speaker 3: is it you know, more electric solar solar power, which
- 13:42Speaker 3: they already in the solar power industry now, you know,
- 13:45Speaker 3: I think it'll be interesting to see how they how
- 13:47Speaker 3: they diversify. I don't think this stock will rise as
- 13:49Speaker 3: much as it did during the pandemic though I think
- 13:52Speaker 3: it now it's it's the regular it's a regular stock.
- 13:55Speaker 3: You know, it's still a good company. But you know
- 13:57Speaker 3: it's not going to go up a thousand percent years. Yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 3: and it maybe. I mean, I think we all agree here.
- 14:03Speaker 3: I'm optimistic as well.
- 14:04Speaker 4: But one of the things when you read the reports,
- 14:06Speaker 4: it was saying that they want to go from hardware,
- 14:09Speaker 4: which would be kind of like the vehicles, to becoming
- 14:11Speaker 4: somewhat of a software company as well. And so maybe
- 14:14Speaker 4: we're looking at when we talk about products, we might
- 14:16Speaker 4: be looking at it the wrong way. Maybe it's not
- 14:17Speaker 4: a hardware a product that they put out in some
- 14:20Speaker 4: type of software. So I'm optimistic with it. There are
- 14:23Speaker 4: some analysts who are saying that it will go up
- 14:25Speaker 4: to fifteen hundred. I'll go colde my commentary, but I
- 14:32Speaker 4: I will leave their names anonymous. But I mean there's
- 14:35Speaker 4: some reports. I say that, so we'll see earners.
- 14:37Speaker 2: What's going on.
- 14:38Speaker 4: Listen, eylu is relaunching, revamping, retooling. That's why we're creating
- 14:43Speaker 4: a new educational experience that's more expensive.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Shotty telling what.
- 14:46Speaker 5: We got, Yes twenty twenty three, we got a lot.
- 14:50Speaker 5: It's still a lot planning for you guys. So you
- 14:52Speaker 5: know that eyou already includes monthly financial planning calls with Me,
- 14:56Speaker 5: book Club calls with Troy, real estate calls a MG.
- 14:59Speaker 5: The more it's got access to the home buying Blueprint.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Volume one and Volume two part of the revamp will
- 15:06Speaker 5: include twenty seven local chapters from across the United States,
- 15:10Speaker 5: live interactive teaching hands on not just pre recorded videos,
- 15:14Speaker 5: plus fifteen brand new curriculums.
- 15:18Speaker 2: The biggest just got bigger.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Head over to e y l university dot com. That's
- 15:23Speaker 6: e y l U n I V E R s
- 15:28Speaker 6: I t y dot com.
- 15:30Speaker 2: See you there,
