- 0:08Speaker 1: Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to
- 0:16Speaker 1: the Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host Rob Shooter
- 0:19Speaker 1: and it's Tuesday which means our dear friend Delaina Dixon
- 0:22Speaker 1: is with us. Hey Misty, are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 2: I am. Oh my goodness, I had a good weekend Mr. Shooter.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I know you did because it was your birthday. Happy birthday,
- 0:32Speaker 1: my friend. Where were you? You weren't in New York.
- 0:34Speaker 1: I wanted to take you out for dinner, for drinks.
- 0:36Speaker 1: We'll do it when you get back. I think you
- 0:38Speaker 1: get back today. What did you do for your birthday?
- 0:41Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness. So I got on a plane and
- 0:43Speaker 3: I went to San Diego. I've never been there.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's gorgeous.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I stayed at the Westin Gaslamp. Oh, downtown San Diego.
- 0:52Speaker 2: I went to the zoo. I saw the pandas and
- 0:54Speaker 2: the polar bears.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I went to the Maritime Museum and I went on
- 0:59Speaker 3: a boat ride.
- 1:00Speaker 2: So fabulous. You know, spa day, dinner with friends. And
- 1:03Speaker 2: of course, I brought Mama Dee.
- 1:05Speaker 1: That's the most important. I'm glad that you had such
- 1:08Speaker 1: a fantastic day. I can't wait to see you back
- 1:12Speaker 1: in New York and we can go and celebrate together.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:19Speaker 1: It is tea time. Big story at the top of
- 1:22Speaker 1: the show. Hayden Panettiere's ex has made an urgent move.
- 1:26Speaker 1: to protect her daughter's inheritance. This is big. So Hayden
- 1:30Speaker 1: Panettiere's ex-fiancé, they were never married, Vladimir Kalinsko, is making
- 1:36Speaker 1: an urgent legal move to protect their 11-year-old daughter's inheritance.
- 1:43Speaker 1: She's 11 years old now. If you remember, this was
- 1:46Speaker 1: a big, big story. When they broke up, he got custody.
- 1:50Speaker 1: She wanted him to have custody because she was in
- 1:53Speaker 1: a bad way and she just didn't feel like she
- 1:56Speaker 1: could be the mother she wanted to be. So he
- 1:58Speaker 1: has been with the daughter for the last 10, 11 years.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Now he is saying that he needs to get temporary
- 2:07Speaker 1: guardianship of the daughter's estate. arguing that she, the daughter,
- 2:13Speaker 1: is entitled to all of her late mother's assets. It
- 2:17Speaker 1: could be millions of dollars. The filing alleges that federal
- 2:20Speaker 1: agents removed property from Hayden's Los Angeles home as part
- 2:25Speaker 1: of the investigation. Nothing shady there. They were investigating. So
- 2:29Speaker 1: stuff was removed, while jewelry and other personal items, he claims,
- 2:34Speaker 1: have disappeared from the house. We do know that Hayden's
- 2:38Speaker 1: parents were fighting over over her earrings. Something as silly
- 2:43Speaker 1: as that, Misty. Her earrings that she was wearing when
- 2:47Speaker 1: she died, they weren't released because nobody knew who to
- 2:51Speaker 1: give them to. Her mom wanted them. Her dad wanted them.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Now her ex is saying the person who is entitled
- 2:58Speaker 1: to all this, her next of kin, is her daughter.
- 3:01Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 3:02Speaker 2: Oh my goodness. Can you imagine?
- 3:04Speaker 3: First of all, this young girl loses her mother and
- 3:08Speaker 3: Her baby daddy is going through anguish and now he
- 3:12Speaker 3: has to deal with the legality of what is happening
- 3:15Speaker 3: to her property So just a little little legal lesson there.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He is claiming or he wants temporary custody of this
- 3:24Speaker 3: kind of her assets until they can put someone permanent
- 3:26Speaker 3: in place because as we know when somebody dies, especially
- 3:30Speaker 3: when they have money and You know.
- 3:32Speaker 2: At first everybody says, oh, I'm so sad and everything.
- 3:35Speaker 3: But then the vultures come around. And he is scared
- 3:38Speaker 3: that there are people who have been involved with Hayden
- 3:42Speaker 3: who would maybe not have the best intentions for her
- 3:45Speaker 3: property and what happens with her assets. So this is
- 3:48Speaker 3: why he wants to just take over kind of the
- 3:51Speaker 3: guardianship or the legal terminology of that until a permanent
- 3:55Speaker 3: person can be put in place. So, but it's just so, just,
- 4:00Speaker 3: having to deal with this when you've had to deal
- 4:02Speaker 3: with everything else. It's just so upsetting.
- 4:06Speaker 1: It is, Misty, but it is more common than we
- 4:08Speaker 1: want to believe. My mommy, you know, is in her 90s.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I was over there just a few weeks ago with
- 4:14Speaker 1: my mom. And part of the time with her now
- 4:17Speaker 1: is talking about her death and what she wants and
- 4:21Speaker 1: her wishes. It's a very awkward, uncomfortable conversation, but it's
- 4:24Speaker 1: one that has to happen. And she met a solicitor.
- 4:27Speaker 1: My mom met a solicitor to talk about her will.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And her solicitor told her that just because you make
- 4:34Speaker 1: a will, it doesn't necessarily get approved. That members of
- 4:38Speaker 1: the family, blood relatives, can come forward and contest a will.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And then it's up to the judge, not up to
- 4:45Speaker 1: the person whose money we are talking about. So wills,
- 4:50Speaker 1: estate planning, it is such an ugly, awkward conversation. But
- 4:55Speaker 1: it's one that we all have to have. I don't
- 4:57Speaker 1: believe Hayden had a will, I asked my sources, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: they said she didn't. So it goes to the daughter.
- 5:02Speaker 1: What I do like here about the ex-Vladimir is this
- 5:06Speaker 1: is not a cash grab for him. He's making it
- 5:08Speaker 1: very clear, and we've seen the legal documents. This is temporary.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Thank you for pointing that out, Miss D. He doesn't
- 5:14Speaker 1: want this money. He just wants to make sure this
- 5:16Speaker 1: money is put in a safe place until his daughter
- 5:19Speaker 1: turns of age when she can claim it. Nobody wants
- 5:23Speaker 1: an 11-year-old to inherit money. millions and millions of dollars.
- 5:26Speaker 1: They don't know how to control that, how to spend it,
- 5:29Speaker 1: how to manage it. So it will be put into
- 5:31Speaker 1: some sort of trust. That's what the ex wants. That's
- 5:34Speaker 1: what Vladimir wants. Her parents, who we know she had
- 5:37Speaker 1: a very difficult relationship with, it looks as if they
- 5:40Speaker 1: want the money too. And don't get me started on
- 5:43Speaker 1: the gentleman, her boyfriend, Brian, who was in the room
- 5:46Speaker 1: when she passed away. We don't know what he wants,
- 5:50Speaker 1: but we know his character. is definitely a little bit questionable,
- 5:54Speaker 1: which brings us to our poll question of the day.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Hayden Panettiere's ex has made an urgent legal move to
- 6:02Speaker 1: protect his daughter's inheritance. Is this a good idea? Is
- 6:06Speaker 1: this the right move to make? Yes or no? Hey,
- 6:09Speaker 1: go vote on our ex page, our Twitter page at
- 6:12Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rob, our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip, and
- 6:16Speaker 1: be sure to check back tomorrow. to hear your results. Hey, Misty,
- 6:21Speaker 1: what are you working on? All right.
- 6:23Speaker 3: So let's talk about Melania.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:26Speaker 3: So her mom is Teresa, obviously from the Real Housewives
- 6:30Speaker 3: of New Jersey. And Melania was seen screaming at her
- 6:34Speaker 3: mother at the Tampa International Airport. So basically the daughter,
- 6:40Speaker 3: she just kept repeating, is this what we do now?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Is this what we do now?
- 6:45Speaker 3: As Teresa and Melania's older sister, Gia, attempted to handle
- 6:49Speaker 3: this very chaotic situation. As we know, airports are crowded,
- 6:53Speaker 3: and when people start screaming, it's just so incredibly weird, right?
- 6:59Speaker 3: So the foot just also captures an airport police officer
- 7:03Speaker 3: expressing concern about Melania's behavior, noting her repetitive language and
- 7:08Speaker 3: saying she had just gotten out of the facility. And
- 7:11Speaker 3: I'm sure, Rob, we're going to explain a little bit
- 7:14Speaker 3: more of that The officer then described Melania as a
- 7:17Speaker 3: danger to herself. Now, this is the most harrowing part,
- 7:22Speaker 3: that Teresa told the officer that Melania had fentanyl in
- 7:26Speaker 3: her system during a prior incident, and she was taken
- 7:31Speaker 3: into a mental health facility under Florida's Baker Act. I
- 7:35Speaker 3: think that's like a 5150.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yes.
- 7:37Speaker 3: It remains unclear how the fentanyl got into Melania's system
- 7:42Speaker 3: or what. or what is the case, but Melania has
- 7:46Speaker 3: been through a lot. She lost a friend recently and,
- 7:48Speaker 3: and Teresa has been talking about this.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Give us a little.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yeah, this, this is a heartbreaking one, but let's cut
- 7:54Speaker 1: to the chase here. Bravo reality TV. The housewives have
- 7:57Speaker 1: been around now for 20 years. Now we are seeing
- 8:00Speaker 1: some of the results of that experiment. When you put
- 8:03Speaker 1: a family on television and you reward them from bad behavior,
- 8:07Speaker 1: the children learn a lesson. They see what's going on
- 8:09Speaker 1: with their mom. We know Gia, the oldest daughter, now
- 8:12Speaker 1: has a show on Bravo. They didn't get jobs like
- 8:15Speaker 1: the rest of us do. They fell into the family business,
- 8:17Speaker 1: and the family business is reality TV. We have been
- 8:20Speaker 1: around enough housewives, Misty. We were at a party at
- 8:23Speaker 1: Fresco by Scotto, and there were housewives there, and we
- 8:25Speaker 1: were chatting to their member. And some are great, but
- 8:29Speaker 1: some are not. And some of the housewives, arguably the
- 8:32Speaker 1: most successful ones, groom their family to be part of
- 8:36Speaker 1: their success. There is no doubt that Teresa is a
- 8:39Speaker 1: massive reality star. And she has turned every family problem
- 8:43Speaker 1: that would have brought you or I to our knees,
- 8:46Speaker 1: she's turned that into ratings. The kids have watched this.
- 8:49Speaker 1: And now, 10 years on, 15, 20 years on, you've
- 8:53Speaker 1: got to ask, what lessons have they been taught? I
- 8:56Speaker 1: am not blaming Bravo. I am not blaming reality TV.
- 9:00Speaker 1: But I'm saying there is a consequence to being in
- 9:03Speaker 1: that environment. Misty, we've had awkward conversations, you and I,
- 9:07Speaker 1: with real housewives about sex tapes, about whether or not,
- 9:10Speaker 1: not should they make them, but would a sex tape
- 9:13Speaker 1: today be as impactful as it was to Kim Kardashian
- 9:16Speaker 1: and Paris Hilton? That's how they think. Delaina, we've had
- 9:19Speaker 1: drinks with housewives. When we've talked about, we've practiced what
- 9:24Speaker 1: lines will pop on television. What should you say to
- 9:27Speaker 1: go viral? We have been in housewives' apartments, homes, where
- 9:31Speaker 1: they watch reality TV. We've been on the show. We've
- 9:33Speaker 1: been on the show. I was on Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Thank you very much. I've done New York. We've been
- 9:38Speaker 1: on these shows. And we've seen them study the process
- 9:42Speaker 1: of reality TV. You did not become a successful reality
- 9:45Speaker 1: star by chance. you study. Bethany Frankel, Jill Zarin, they
- 9:49Speaker 1: studied really hard. We know that Teresa and her family
- 9:54Speaker 1: have studied reality TV. They live within it. We watch them,
- 9:58Speaker 1: but they don't watch us. They live within it.
- 10:00Speaker 2: This.
- 10:00Speaker 1: This is their daily life. And so for me, you know,
- 10:03Speaker 1: we're seeing a lot of kids now. We're seeing Kim
- 10:05Speaker 1: Zoliak's son arrested. We are seeing other horror stories from
- 10:11Speaker 1: children of housewives. I am Not surprised. I'm shocked. I
- 10:16Speaker 1: think it's really, really sad. But I think this was
- 10:19Speaker 1: the inevitable outcome of living within that system. What do
- 10:23Speaker 1: you think?
- 10:24Speaker 2: No, I would 100% agree.
- 10:25Speaker 3: And unfortunately, as kids, they might not realize when the
- 10:30Speaker 3: camera's on and when the camera's off.
- 10:32Speaker 2: So we've seen the housewives win. They just seem like
- 10:35Speaker 2: perfectly normal people.
- 10:36Speaker 3: And then the cameras come on and they're throwing tables
- 10:40Speaker 3: and using bad language. Camera goes off and they calm
- 10:43Speaker 3: down because they're adults, right? They know when to perform.
- 10:46Speaker 3: The kids growing up in this don't know, oh, is
- 10:49Speaker 3: the camera on? Is the camera off? When do I
- 10:51Speaker 3: behave a certain way? And that just becomes your reality.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's really hard, isn't it?
- 10:57Speaker 3: I mean, this is a complicated situation with Melania. And
- 11:01Speaker 3: like I said, she lost a friend or maybe even two.
- 11:06Speaker 3: And so she may be dealing with just that heartache
- 11:09Speaker 3: and the way she handled it. But still, as you said,
- 11:13Speaker 3: they realize that when you put on a show, people react.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, they do.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Good or bad.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yeah, good or bad. It's a lesson that is learned.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Not only did she just recently lose a friend, her
- 11:23Speaker 1: mother went to jail for a year. Her father got deported.
- 11:26Speaker 1: All this was on the show. This to me makes
- 11:29Speaker 1: me wildly, wildly uncomfortable because children here are involved and
- 11:33Speaker 1: they're not in a position. They did not ask to
- 11:35Speaker 1: be on reality TV. Their mother chose that. And now
- 11:38Speaker 1: they are living their mother's experiment. Makes me really, really
- 11:42Speaker 1: sad and a little bit angry too. Okay, moving along.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Princess Diana's brother, who I'm seeing tonight, I'm seeing Charles
- 11:48Speaker 1: Spencer tonight. I know, I'll tell you all about it tomorrow.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Charles Spencer, he's insisting that Prince Harry had absolutely nothing
- 11:55Speaker 1: to do with his bombshell book. So her brother, Charles Spencer,
- 11:59Speaker 1: is insisting that Harry had no involvement in the new memoir.
- 12:03Speaker 1: He said he deliberately kept Swan's song, Diana, My Sister,
- 12:06Speaker 1: that's the title, secret from his family until he could
- 12:10Speaker 1: publicly announce it. That's partially true. Harry did not find
- 12:14Speaker 1: out about this book in the press. They gave him,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you know, the heads up. It might not have been
- 12:18Speaker 1: a year in advance. I write books. I love writing books.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It takes about a year, at least a year, to
- 12:22Speaker 1: write a book. And so maybe in the beginning he
- 12:25Speaker 1: didn't say anything. And I'm like that too with my books.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I don't tell anybody about my books until they're almost finished.
- 12:30Speaker 1: So I've probably been working on something 10, 11, maybe
- 12:34Speaker 1: a year before I even mention it. But Harry did
- 12:37Speaker 1: know this book was coming out. He did confess that
- 12:39Speaker 1: he did tell Harry and his only question was, is
- 12:42Speaker 1: there anything in there that would embarrass me? Not my mother.
- 12:45Speaker 1: That's what Harry said. Charles Spencer quotes Harry as saying,
- 12:48Speaker 1: is there anything in there that would embarrass me? Harry,
- 12:52Speaker 1: I would have asked about my mum first. Nevertheless, Charles
- 12:55Speaker 1: Spencer replied, no. And Harry said, then it's completely fine
- 12:59Speaker 1: with him. This book, Misty, it has ruffled feathers.
- 13:05Speaker 3: It is on my reading list, but I will say this.
- 13:08Speaker 3: So I think, you know, obviously this is Diana's brother,
- 13:12Speaker 3: so I think he wants to protect his sister.
- 13:15Speaker 2: So Harry kind of probably went in knowing that. And
- 13:18Speaker 2: maybe he.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Did say, does it say anything that I should be
- 13:21Speaker 3: shocked about my mom? But the more interesting sentence to
- 13:24Speaker 3: give the press is that Harry asked about himself.
- 13:27Speaker 1: He did ask about himself.
- 13:29Speaker 3: I'm going to give that him a grain of salt. But,
- 13:33Speaker 3: you know, it's interesting. He waited a very long time
- 13:36Speaker 3: to write this book. He's talked about how he has
- 13:39Speaker 3: no relationship with with the king. So one would think
- 13:42Speaker 3: that if anybody is going to come off maybe a
- 13:45Speaker 3: little not so amazing in the book, it's going to
- 13:49Speaker 3: be King Charles and not Princess Diana. We remember Princess
- 13:54Speaker 3: Diana for all the amazing things she did. If you're
- 13:57Speaker 3: watching Saturday Night Live.
- 13:59Speaker 2: UK, she's back, right? She's back.
- 14:02Speaker 3: We see the actor who's playing Diana in her very
- 14:05Speaker 3: famous revenge dress.
- 14:07Speaker 2: It's It's interesting.
- 14:11Speaker 1: It is interesting, isn't it? It is interesting. I must admit,
- 14:14Speaker 1: I've started to read the book and it is fascinating.
- 14:17Speaker 1: And at first I was like, oh, gosh, this sort
- 14:19Speaker 1: of give me the willies a little bit. But then
- 14:21Speaker 1: you've got to read the book. You can't have an
- 14:22Speaker 1: opinion on something you've not read. You just can't do that.
- 14:25Speaker 1: So I'm reading the book and it's actually a really,
- 14:27Speaker 1: really sweet account. Yes, there are a few shocking paragraphs.
- 14:30Speaker 1: But overall, it's a really... It has to be, of course,
- 14:33Speaker 1: because it's a shocking story too. But overall, this is
- 14:36Speaker 1: a love letter to his sister and he does have
- 14:38Speaker 1: the right to tell it. This was a blood relative.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Harry had the right to write his book about his
- 14:43Speaker 1: life and Earl Spencer has the right to write it
- 14:46Speaker 1: about his life too. Tell your story. There is nothing
- 14:48Speaker 1: about that that we can sort of complain about. I
- 14:51Speaker 1: think if you actually give the book a chance, then
- 14:53Speaker 1: I think you'll be a little less angry with it.
- 14:56Speaker 1: This is obviously a brother who has kept a secret from...
- 14:59Speaker 1: for 30 years. And him talking about growing up with
- 15:01Speaker 1: Diana in that beautiful estate they had, they were aristocracy.
- 15:05Speaker 1: She was a lady before she even married the prince.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And so she was fancy, fancy. And so give it
- 15:11Speaker 1: a chance. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
- 15:13Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:17Speaker 1: Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host Rob Shooter. Hey,
- 15:18Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. Last show we talked about
- 15:22Speaker 1: Prince William saying no to a new documentary about Diana
- 15:25Speaker 1: while Harry said yes. So Harry's making a documentary about
- 15:28Speaker 1: About his mother, it's her 30th anniversary of her death
- 15:32Speaker 1: next year, and so there's going to be a ton
- 15:33Speaker 1: of these documentaries. What better than to have one by
- 15:36Speaker 1: her sons? William has said no. Harry has said yes.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Who is making the right decision? Oh, 80% said William.
- 15:43Speaker 1: They shouldn't be doing this. I don't know here. I
- 15:46Speaker 1: love history. I'm a student of history, and nobody tells
- 15:49Speaker 1: history better than the people involved. And so even though
- 15:52Speaker 1: it makes you a little bit uncomfortable and it feels
- 15:54Speaker 1: like a tell-all, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 years from now,
- 15:58Speaker 1: this will be really valuable information. So for once, I'm
- 16:02Speaker 1: not exactly agreeing with the naughties. Hey, go vote on
- 16:05Speaker 1: today's poll on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. And be sure to
- 16:11Speaker 1: check back to our router here. Your results are now.
- 16:14Speaker 1: It's time for our nicest of the day.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Well, our nicest of the day is Travis Kelsey, because
- 16:22Speaker 3: he's supporting his wife, Taylor Swift, from afar, you know,
- 16:26Speaker 3: this weekend with the VMA Awards. So he couldn't be there, right?
- 16:32Speaker 3: So he basically liked two billboard Instagram posts celebrating Taylor's
- 16:37Speaker 3: arrival on the blue carpet. These VMAs were Sunday nights.
- 16:42Speaker 3: Of course, her eagle-eyed fans noticed that, and she did
- 16:46Speaker 3: win a very big award. Now, before y'all start having
- 16:51Speaker 3: conspiracy theories, he had a very good reason for not
- 16:54Speaker 3: being there. He was playing the Miami Dolphins. The Chiefs
- 16:58Speaker 3: were playing in Florida, and they won 24 to 10.
- 17:01Speaker 2: So my man had to go to work. He had
- 17:04Speaker 2: to make it on Monday.
- 17:07Speaker 3: And if you're curious, she won the MTV VMA Award.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Artist Director Honors Award. And I believe she won one
- 17:13Speaker 3: other award as well. So beating Beyonce's record. So I'm
- 17:16Speaker 3: sure the BAF is talking about that. But the nicest
- 17:20Speaker 3: of the day is Travis.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I like it. Our nicest of the day. Don't believe
- 17:24Speaker 1: any rumors today that they're in trouble. That's just not true.
- 17:27Speaker 1: He was working. She was working. They're both busy people.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Our nicest of the day. And now our naughtiest of
- 17:32Speaker 1: the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty, naughty. Our naughtiest of
- 17:34Speaker 1: the day is... Oh no, we've lost Miss D, our
- 17:37Speaker 1: Zoom connection cut out. Don't worry, naughties, I'll finish the
- 17:41Speaker 1: show and Miss D will be listening, I'm sure. We
- 17:44Speaker 1: love you, Miss D. Happy birthday. Our naughtiest of the day,
- 17:47Speaker 1: our naughtiest of the day is Jennifer Lopez, who has
- 17:49Speaker 1: been spotted holding hands with a hunky bodyguard. They were
- 17:53Speaker 1: mobbed in Italy and Jennifer was helped out of her car,
- 17:57Speaker 1: of her van, by a security guard. They are not
- 18:01Speaker 1: a couple. So you're going to hear rumours today that
- 18:04Speaker 1: as she stepped out of her SUV, she held his hand. No,
- 18:09Speaker 1: I've worked with Jennifer. I've been around Jennifer. She was
- 18:12Speaker 1: just having a little bit of support here, getting out
- 18:15Speaker 1: of that van and getting into the venue. The fans
- 18:18Speaker 1: went absolutely nuts. So if you hear rumours today, you
- 18:21Speaker 1: will notice that Jennifer Lopez is dating. He's a very
- 18:25Speaker 1: good looking bodyguard, but I can tell you he's married.
- 18:28Speaker 1: He's a married, married man. And Jennifer does not mess
- 18:33Speaker 1: with that stuff. And so, no, they are not a couple.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Maybe the press. Maybe we, the gossip columnists, are the
- 18:40Speaker 1: naughtiest of the day. Don't believe it. Always listen to
- 18:43Speaker 1: your friend, Rob Shooter. I promise to steer you right. Hey,
- 18:47Speaker 1: let's end with a moment of Rob. You get a Rob,
- 18:50Speaker 1: you get a Rob, you get a Rob, you get
- 18:51Speaker 1: a Rob. Don't be afraid to take a risk. Stop
- 18:54Speaker 1: waiting for certainty because it's not coming. You've got to
- 18:57Speaker 1: take that risk. You'll either get exactly where you want. Brilliant.
- 19:02Speaker 1: You'll get close to what you want. That's good. Or
- 19:05Speaker 1: you'll learn something along the way. That maybe is the
- 19:08Speaker 1: most important lesson here. None of those outcomes is failure.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Not one of them. The real danger is standing still
- 19:17Speaker 1: because you are afraid of making the wrong move. You
- 19:20Speaker 1: can recover from a bad decision. You can change direction.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You can try again. But you can't learn anything from
- 19:27Speaker 1: a life where you're too frightened to live. So take
- 19:30Speaker 1: a chance. Even when you don't win, I promise you,
- 19:35Speaker 1: you will grow. I've had to learn that lesson. Sometimes
- 19:39Speaker 1: I am immobilized by fear. Absolutely immobilized. I'm going to
- 19:44Speaker 1: try tomorrow to do a Substack Live. I've never done
- 19:47Speaker 1: one before. And you know I'm not great with challenges.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And so I'm a little bit concerned about it. And
- 19:52Speaker 1: it will probably be a disaster. It probably isn't going
- 19:55Speaker 1: to work. But I have to have a failure to
- 19:58Speaker 1: learn how to get it right. So even though I'm
- 20:01Speaker 1: a little bit nervous about it, I'm also excited.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I know.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I know it's not going to be great. The first
- 20:08Speaker 1: time never is. But the second, the third, the fourth,
- 20:11Speaker 1: the fifth, the hundredth time will be just fine. So
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm doing that tomorrow. I'm going to be outside my
- 20:16Speaker 1: comfort zone. What are you doing today or tomorrow to
- 20:19Speaker 1: take a little bit of a risk? Hey, that is
- 20:21Speaker 1: it for today. Thank you so much for listening. to
