- 1:12Speaker 1: five whist stocking Fun follow and they were a whistle
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yeah it's too bad fun.
- 1:18Speaker 2: What did you expect?
- 1:19Speaker 1: It's a podcast call twenty five whistles twenty wine wheel, Hello,
- 1:26Speaker 1: blow the whistle? Have five things five? I have a
- 1:30Speaker 1: list of five things that my most five thought about
- 1:33Speaker 1: things that I made notes of, five notes I made
- 1:35Speaker 1: from the weekend that have the number five. Yeah, I
- 1:38Speaker 1: turn your microphone on.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:40Speaker 1: There we go, I'm here, get me started. We still
- 1:43Speaker 1: have no air conditioner. These are five, So I'm getting
- 1:45Speaker 1: pissy to turn your microphone on. It wasn't your fault.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I didn't do anything. So there are five things that
- 1:49Speaker 1: you wrote notes about?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I called this the top five things I wrote notes
- 1:53Speaker 1: about in my phone, and there's five of them, so
- 1:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna do all five perfect. It's a really weird name.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I came up with number one in no order. Dallas
- 2:01Speaker 1: sucks and the Jets suck. Yeah, but Dallas sucks. Dang
- 2:06Speaker 1: Jets suck. Haha, sorry case, you don't expect Dallas to
- 2:10Speaker 1: suck like this, and they no. I bet fifteen hundred
- 2:14Speaker 1: dollars or whatever for them to win the Super Bowl.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So I win twenty four thousand dollars because Eddie told
- 2:18Speaker 1: me to.
- 2:19Speaker 2: This will be I'm.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Irritable because the heat it's gonna be two years in
- 2:24Speaker 1: a row. That Eddie's cost me one thousand dollars last
- 2:26Speaker 1: year and fourteen hundred dollars this year, so we're at
- 2:28Speaker 1: twenty four hundred dollars because he's like, come on, man,
- 2:30Speaker 1: do the cowboys. Come on, man, do the cowboys. That's
- 2:32Speaker 1: easy money. It's usually easy money. That's two years in
- 2:36Speaker 1: a row. And ain't man so easy? So let me
- 2:38Speaker 1: talk about point number one, which, by the way, the
- 2:42Speaker 1: Cowboys were up. I was watching they were rough when
- 2:45Speaker 1: oh at the very beginning, no, I think it was
- 2:47Speaker 1: like ten seven.
- 2:48Speaker 4: They were down three zero. Then they scored. Then they
- 2:51Speaker 4: kick a field goal I.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Think the ten six and seven ten six, yeah, and
- 2:55Speaker 1: I was like, let's go because I bet him plus five.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I bet a little five hundred bucks on plus five.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Well that was enough the five hundred, No, it's plenty
- 3:04Speaker 1: No five hundred was plenty. So number one Dallas still sucks.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Let's go Dallas Cowboys. With three and four in the season,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I've lost two in a row. Dak has ten touchdowns
- 3:11Speaker 1: eight interceptions on the season.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Eight interceptions. Good number. Eight interceptions. It's ridiculous. I mean,
- 3:19Speaker 4: what's the good number. I don't know what you're saying.
- 3:21Speaker 4: I'm being ridiculous to honestly, I'm seeing red right now.
- 3:23Speaker 4: It's it's so frustrating.
- 3:25Speaker 1: No, that's because your eyes are hot, dude, and it's
- 3:27Speaker 1: hot in here.
- 3:28Speaker 4: It's just so frustrating to see him. There was a
- 3:30Speaker 4: time where he would throw the ball down the field,
- 3:32Speaker 4: and you know, when you watch football on TV, you
- 3:34Speaker 4: can't see the receivers down the field, so you're assuming, oh,
- 3:37Speaker 4: this is a good look. There's probably a receiver wide open,
- 3:39Speaker 4: and when the camera pans over, it's not. It's some
- 3:42Speaker 4: guy and it's a receiver in double coverage, and and
- 3:44Speaker 4: the ball gets picked every single time.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Can a counter And I don't like the counter, but
- 3:48Speaker 1: you're countering just a counter. I know, I know it's true,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but I am calendaring because I don't think he has
- 3:52Speaker 1: anybody to throw to other in CD lambit and then
- 3:54Speaker 1: don't throw the ball if they bracket. I mean, you
- 3:56Speaker 1: can't just run the whole time.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You can't.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I mean it sucks. And I'm not putting the Dallas
- 4:00Speaker 1: sucking still on Dak because Dak can win games. We've
- 4:04Speaker 1: seen it. It's not a Dak thing. It is a
- 4:06Speaker 1: they do not have the weapons. They just don't have them.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It is a organizational thing. I hate to say, it's
- 4:14Speaker 1: a Jerry Jones thing. I think you're right. I love
- 4:16Speaker 1: Jerry Jones. I think you're right.
- 4:18Speaker 4: My brother in law has told me for years, every
- 4:20Speaker 4: single time I go down Texas for Christmas, He's like, dude,
- 4:23Speaker 4: you know me, I love the Cowboys.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Yeah, we love the Cowboys. Yeah yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 4: If they don't ever get rid of Jerry Jones, we're
- 4:28Speaker 4: never going to win.
- 4:29Speaker 1: A super Bowl.
- 4:29Speaker 4: He's always said that, I said, and he makes me mad.
- 4:31Speaker 4: We fight, We argue over Christmas. It ruins the holidays.
- 4:34Speaker 4: But yes, she's probably right, But.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I don't think he's been right all the time. I
- 4:37Speaker 1: think he's put them in positions to actually win playoffs,
- 4:40Speaker 1: playoff games and possibly get to the Super Bowl. So
- 4:43Speaker 1: I would argue because I love to argue with your uncle,
- 4:46Speaker 1: cousin or whatever it is, doesn't Jeff, Yeah, I would
- 4:49Speaker 1: argue that. I don't think that's been accurate every year
- 4:52Speaker 1: over the last ten years. I think this year they're
- 4:54Speaker 1: just in a bad spot. They've had the tools and
- 4:57Speaker 1: the talent in the past, they just have not been
- 4:59Speaker 1: able to get over the hump. I don't think Jerry
- 5:01Speaker 1: Jones has been the issue until or the main issue
- 5:05Speaker 1: until recently. They just have They don't have a number
- 5:10Speaker 1: two receiver. Their offensive line is they have two rookies,
- 5:14Speaker 1: and I will say our boy plays pretty good at center. Well,
- 5:18Speaker 1: he plays pretty good at center. We got a little
- 5:20Speaker 1: tackle issue occasionally over there. But the Cowboys are not
- 5:25Speaker 1: good and that sucks and I'm gonna lose all my
- 5:27Speaker 1: money and I hate that we may we may not
- 5:29Speaker 1: even go to the playoffs, which is crazy. I know
- 5:32Speaker 1: we always go to the playoffs. Yeah, I know. I
- 5:35Speaker 1: think if you can go nine and eight, you got
- 5:38Speaker 1: a shot. That's a stretch. Then you gotta one more games. Uh.
- 5:42Speaker 1: My other part here on number one is the Jets
- 5:45Speaker 1: suck haha, not Casey. I feel bad for you.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Jet's Jets.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I do feel sorry for you because I know what
- 5:56Speaker 1: it's like, Like I I empathize. The Jets are now
- 5:59Speaker 1: two and six on the sea and they've lost five
- 6:00Speaker 1: in a row. There's nobody else for Aaron Rodgers to blame.
- 6:03Speaker 1: He has gone thirty games without a three hundred yard
- 6:06Speaker 1: passing game. Can you believe that? I mean, the Packers
- 6:11Speaker 1: are better that he's gone now. Yeah. I used to
- 6:13Speaker 1: just think maybe Jordan La Nope, I rooted for Aaron Rodgers.
- 6:17Speaker 1: He's turned into douchebag number one. Yeah. You know how
- 6:20Speaker 1: the FBI or CIA whatever has like their top ten
- 6:23Speaker 1: most one, yes, and like wanted number one. It's always
- 6:26Speaker 1: somebody real bad one and you're like one at number
- 6:29Speaker 1: six and you're still bad, but they're just looking for you.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers is douchebag number one in the NFL. Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Did you know that they called all three of their
- 6:36Speaker 4: timeouts in the first quarter the games?
- 6:38Speaker 3: I did not.
- 6:39Speaker 4: I don't even know if that's like I wonder when
- 6:41Speaker 4: that's like the last time that's happened.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I didn't even watch part of it because I thought
- 6:45Speaker 1: the game was just going to be over. Yeah, I
- 6:47Speaker 1: thought I didn't think much of it. I saw I
- 6:48Speaker 1: wasn't gonna spend because I think there were eight games
- 6:50Speaker 1: in Round one or something in the one o'clock blocker.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, right, because every team played.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Yeah right, no buys. Yeah. First of all, I love
- 6:57Speaker 1: when there are no boys, except I don't anymore. It's
- 7:00Speaker 1: too much, too much, a lot. I got drag Kings going,
- 7:02Speaker 1: I got Fantasy going.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I got it right.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It's too much. There's a lot so and I can't
- 7:06Speaker 1: keep up with it. So I didn't turn it on.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I was watching it because I had the Jets in
- 7:11Speaker 1: a parlay and I didn't turn it on until like
- 7:15Speaker 1: mid fourth red zone would come on. But I didn't
- 7:18Speaker 1: turn it on that game, and then I just got
- 7:21Speaker 1: happier and happier, even though I had them winning in
- 7:24Speaker 1: the parlay. I just got happier and happier. Because douchebag
- 7:27Speaker 1: number one is Aaron Rodgers. And I say that as
- 7:29Speaker 1: somebody who used to really root for him.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Three weeks ago.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I really rooted for him. Yeah, I have aired forgive me,
- 7:38Speaker 1: Oh football Gods, I have done you wrong.
- 7:41Speaker 2: He's awful.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I hate him.
- 7:44Speaker 4: Also, what's up with Greg Zerline still being on the team.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Do you think he's got like some picks.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Something like that. I mean it's like three games.
- 7:52Speaker 2: That's three games and pretty much lost, right, I mean right,
- 7:55Speaker 2: you know you could say.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers is what made him lose? And Rogers I
- 8:00Speaker 1: went up to them and said, A mean stuff probably
- 8:03Speaker 1: had some conspiracy stuff in his ears up. Yeah, I
- 8:09Speaker 1: will say this. I was watching Devanta Adams talking the
- 8:11Speaker 1: poster in the post Gamers and he was like, uh,
- 8:15Speaker 1: Brits Hall had like sixty yard run and Sideline didn't react.
- 8:20Speaker 1: He's like, what are we even doing here?
- 8:22Speaker 2: You see that?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Yeah? No, I mean it's the Jets. I don't know.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I mean it's the same thing. I think we have
- 8:27Speaker 4: the same problem that Woody Johnson has to go because,
- 8:30Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know, it's been my whole adult life.
- 8:33Speaker 4: This team has found ways to lose games.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It's bizarre.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Let's separate ourselves from how bad the Jets and the
- 8:39Speaker 1: Giants are. It's bizarre that the two New York teams
- 8:41Speaker 1: are bad. Whenever they are both market one, they should
- 8:44Speaker 1: be the teams that are spending the money, making the
- 8:46Speaker 1: smart decisions. Players want to go there and free agency
- 8:48Speaker 1: because of the day. It's bizarre that both New York
- 8:51Speaker 1: teams are so bad. It's the same bizarreness how the
- 8:53Speaker 1: Knicks were so bad for so long and when they
- 8:55Speaker 1: finally got good, everybody's like, oh my god, this is crazy.
- 8:58Speaker 1: It is why old It's New York should not have
- 9:02Speaker 1: consistently bad teams. Now everybody has little pockets of rebuilding.
- 9:08Speaker 1: But New York should not have consistently bad teams, just
- 9:10Speaker 1: like Los Angeles should. People should people want to people
- 9:13Speaker 1: should want to go there.
- 9:13Speaker 2: It's wild. It's stupid.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Uh, Cowboys suck. That sucks, Jets suck. Haha, No offense
- 9:20Speaker 1: because I was rooting for them. Now it's over Rogers
- 9:23Speaker 1: and the poster. He was like, uh, you know, I've
- 9:26Speaker 1: been in dark before. Yeah, exactly, we all know. We
- 9:29Speaker 1: all know the room he was in, the biggest loser ever. Seriously, no, no,
- 9:37Speaker 1: not even messing with this. Is he the most unlikable
- 9:39Speaker 1: person in the history of the NFL that didn't commit
- 9:41Speaker 1: a crime? Yes, that's way, Yeah, that didn't commit a crime.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I cant.
- 9:49Speaker 2: And I liked them.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Moving on number two. As much as I don't like
- 9:55Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers, I want to give a Valentine to James.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He's awesome. He's the man, he's awesome. I mean I
- 10:04Speaker 1: forgot he won the Heisman. Yeah wow, Yeah, Larida State
- 10:10Speaker 1: literally forgot he won the Heisman. I don't think of
- 10:13Speaker 1: him as a Heisman winner.
- 10:14Speaker 2: What do you think of at Florida State. What's the
- 10:17Speaker 2: first thing that pops.
- 10:17Speaker 1: In crableg ye.
- 10:20Speaker 2: That overtakes the Heisman? Just making sure we're on the
- 10:22Speaker 2: same page.
- 10:22Speaker 1: What steal crabs?
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, credillacs?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yeah, Jamis saves the day versus the Ravens. And when
- 10:28Speaker 1: it's twenty nine to twenty four and I'm telling you,
- 10:33Speaker 1: I have so many clips that I had pulled, I'm
- 10:36Speaker 1: gonna play this one first. This is him giving another
- 10:39Speaker 1: one of his memorable pregame speeches.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Give it to me, Hoppatunity is what's in a lifetime,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and with those opportunities, we have to make the most
- 10:48Speaker 3: of it. Every one of us have an individual responsibility
- 10:51Speaker 3: to go out there and fight for each other.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Represent the names on your bank, represents the names that's
- 10:56Speaker 1: on your hill. Well we don't got no pig Outcha's
- 10:58Speaker 1: a represent them one play at a time, right together?
- 11:02Speaker 4: All right?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Here we go. So they go and they play, and
- 11:08Speaker 1: they play. The Ravens probably the best team in football,
- 11:10Speaker 1: although the Chiefs keep winning, which is hilarious. Think let's go,
- 11:14Speaker 1: let's run it. But the Ravens were probably playing the
- 11:18Speaker 1: best football in the NFL. And so this happens at
- 11:22Speaker 1: the beginning his press conference after when he's in a suit. No,
- 11:25Speaker 1: his postgame talk when he's doing eminem hilarious and if
- 11:29Speaker 1: Cliffs didn't transfer over, so we get it up on him. Yeah, hilarious.
- 11:35Speaker 1: He was twenty seven for forty one, three hundred and
- 11:36Speaker 1: thirty yards, three touchdowns. I'm so happy for Browns fans
- 11:40Speaker 1: because one, I'm sorry you're a Browns fan. Take it
- 11:43Speaker 1: from an Arkansas fan, take it from a Cubs fan.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It sucks to have a team one that ran away
- 11:48Speaker 1: and left you. And then two, they just haven't been good.
- 11:50Speaker 1: They just generally aren't good. And the one quarterback they
- 11:52Speaker 1: won a playoff game. Now you're watching him in Tampa
- 11:54Speaker 1: actually win games, right. That sucks for Browns fans. I
- 11:56Speaker 1: hate that for you. I like this for you that
- 12:00Speaker 1: you're able to win this and Jamis is awesome. Jamis
- 12:03Speaker 1: doing a selfie video leaving the stadium after the win,
- 12:07Speaker 1: also hilarious. He's the most likable guy he is the
- 12:10Speaker 1: antithesis of Aaron Rodgers. So I am pro jamis. That's
- 12:16Speaker 1: my number two five stories from the weekend. Number three,
- 12:20Speaker 1: this could have been number one. I'm not doing him
- 12:21Speaker 1: in the order, but oh my god, that hell Mary amazing,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and it's amazing on two fronts. We rarely the hail
- 12:29Speaker 1: Mary and the on side kick. We never get to
- 12:30Speaker 1: see him, and then when they do happen, we're like,
- 12:32Speaker 1: oh my god, make that makes the news if it's so.
- 12:36Speaker 1: First of all, Jane Daniels okay Boom goes right, turns,
- 12:42Speaker 1: goes left, turns. The Bears decided, I guess to rush No. One.
- 12:47Speaker 1: They had like three guys, but they got tired. Now,
- 12:50Speaker 1: they got tired, those three guys, and they got tired
- 12:54Speaker 1: after a while. He was Dane Devil's all over the place.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So he's running, He's running, freaking fires it. Now. What
- 13:01Speaker 1: I did not see the first ten minutes from when
- 13:03Speaker 1: the play happened to the tip and uh Noah Brown
- 13:07Speaker 1: catching it that I saw a hundred times afterward was
- 13:10Speaker 1: Tyreek Stevens and mocking the Commanders fans as the play
- 13:13Speaker 1: so they're like hut and Jane Daniels is dropping back
- 13:16Speaker 1: and he's like mocking the fans like it's over. It's over,
- 13:19Speaker 1: runs back over to his spot, tips up, and then
- 13:24Speaker 1: Noel bron catches it behind him, so talking all that
- 13:27Speaker 1: spit and that's what happens, not usually because usually it's
- 13:31Speaker 1: just not down right. But it's just hilarious that it
- 13:32Speaker 1: was him who was doing it and him who screwed
- 13:34Speaker 1: it up, because everybody knows on a hill Mary, never tip,
- 13:39Speaker 1: never knock up. The only thing you're trying to do
- 13:41Speaker 1: is knock it ford down, down and forward, forward and down.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And I know it was up high, but I'll also say,
- 13:46Speaker 1: Noah Brown, I was watching him. This was not because
- 13:51Speaker 1: the hail Mary was probably what three yards short guys
- 13:53Speaker 1: which say thirty five yeards, Yeah, I mean he chunked
- 13:55Speaker 1: at sixty seven yards. I'm not sure what the distance was.
- 13:58Speaker 1: And a lot of hill Mary's they will have guys
- 14:01Speaker 1: get down to the end. You have a few of
- 14:02Speaker 1: you guys going up, want to use in the back
- 14:04Speaker 1: ones on the side. This was not a Noah Brown
- 14:07Speaker 1: getting the back play. Oh it wasn't. No, this was
- 14:09Speaker 1: a it's tipped and Noah Brown was at the back
- 14:11Speaker 1: of it. It just kind of took a step back
- 14:13Speaker 1: and just fell on his hands. His hands. It was
- 14:17Speaker 1: I did not see it live. I was beautiful. I
- 14:19Speaker 1: did not see it live.
- 14:21Speaker 3: I was I don't know.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I was watching. I'd watch football for two days and
- 14:25Speaker 1: I had to give my wife something. Yeah.
- 14:27Speaker 4: For me, it was one of those where I watched
- 14:29Speaker 4: it live and everyone just wasn't in the room, like
- 14:31Speaker 4: kids went to their room. Wife was in the other room,
- 14:34Speaker 4: and so I just rewound it, knowing what happened, rewound
- 14:37Speaker 4: and said, hey, guys, this is this game's like down
- 14:39Speaker 4: to the last minute. Play Yeah, okay, let's see it's
- 14:44Speaker 4: the Commanders whatever. And they just watched and watched, and
- 14:46Speaker 4: when it happened, they were like what Dad, this is crazy.
- 14:50Speaker 4: And I was like, I know it happened like five
- 14:51Speaker 4: minutes ago.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I turned it off because I was watching Red Zone
- 14:55Speaker 2: and they were like, oh, when it's the last game,
- 14:57Speaker 2: like you got to go to your local provider, blah
- 14:58Speaker 2: blah blah, noah, this game is over. Where I'm done.
- 15:00Speaker 2: And then I go to watch a Sunday night game
- 15:02Speaker 2: and they're like check this out.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I'm like, what I saw it on Instagram. I watched
- 15:05Speaker 1: the beginning of it. Well, I watched the beginning of
- 15:08Speaker 1: it because I did not know if Jaye Daniels was
- 15:10Speaker 1: gonna play, because I missed whatever he's gonna play Ribs
- 15:12Speaker 1: and his sid was gonna play, and ianted to see
- 15:14Speaker 1: him A. Klabiams play. But then I flipped it off
- 15:17Speaker 1: because my wife wanted to watch something and I owe
- 15:19Speaker 1: it to her, and she didn't force me, but she
- 15:21Speaker 1: gave me all Saturday to watch every game I wanted
- 15:24Speaker 1: to watch and she didn't bother me at all during
- 15:26Speaker 1: the eleven o'clock slate or noon East Coast time, and
- 15:30Speaker 1: this was a the three o'clock game, right, yeah, And
- 15:33Speaker 1: so I watched a little bit of the other games
- 15:35Speaker 1: at three o'clock and I flipped it off, charged with three,
- 15:37Speaker 1: I'll watch some of that game. Then I didn't. I didn't,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and then I saw it on Instagram and I was like,
- 15:42Speaker 1: oh my god, that's the greatest thing I've ever seen
- 15:44Speaker 1: itmore so, that was good. That's number three, my number
- 15:47Speaker 1: three story, but number four, it's Texas good. The answer
- 15:52Speaker 1: is kind of. So they played Georgia and they were exposed.
- 15:57Speaker 1: They really hadn't played anybody leading up to that I
- 16:00Speaker 1: don't think Vanderbilt's bad, but if you were just to
- 16:04Speaker 1: look at athlete vi athlete on those two teams, it's
- 16:07Speaker 1: not the same in any way. Vanderbilt is playing way
- 16:11Speaker 1: above their head. That's awesome. Like coach Lee has them
- 16:15Speaker 1: playing their freaking guts out as a team.
- 16:17Speaker 2: That diego.
- 16:21Speaker 1: That dude, sign me up. I don't even know what
- 16:23Speaker 1: for I'm signing. I'm signing one of those lists when
- 16:25Speaker 1: I'm walking by it and they're like, will you sign
- 16:26Speaker 1: this on the side of the corner, and it's like
- 16:28Speaker 1: this is and I'm like, sure, whatever, what's it for?
- 16:30Speaker 1: Diego pet what to do?
- 16:31Speaker 3: What?
- 16:32Speaker 1: It doesn't matter, I'm signing it.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Like he's a baller's yeah, he's who you want to
- 16:38Speaker 2: play for.
- 16:38Speaker 1: He like he gets hit so hard. He's made even
- 16:42Speaker 1: his plays, Like there was a play it was like
- 16:45Speaker 1: fourth down he had to just make a throw to
- 16:47Speaker 1: because it was done. They say he just chunks it
- 16:49Speaker 1: up in the air. They didn't catch it, but like
- 16:51Speaker 1: he's even thinking, Okay, the best thing I could do
- 16:54Speaker 1: is throw ball up in the air and hope that
- 16:57Speaker 1: there And it didn't. It was not good. Texas intercepted it.
- 16:59Speaker 1: But like he's doing stuff. He's doing every little thing right,
- 17:02Speaker 1: and he's also like sacrificing all of himself in order
- 17:06Speaker 1: to make it happen. He's a ball of and I
- 17:07Speaker 1: gotta think Coach Lee was not. I think he may
- 17:11Speaker 1: have been a bit disappointed because they didn't win that game.
- 17:13Speaker 1: But I think you go into that locker room like, guys,
- 17:17Speaker 1: f yeah, like you gave them. You gave the freaking
- 17:21Speaker 1: Texas Longhorns. Every player was recruited higher than you every play.
- 17:26Speaker 1: How many stars you got? Let's add up all the stars.
- 17:28Speaker 1: They're three times as many stars, like literal recruiting stars. Yeah, like,
- 17:32Speaker 1: and this is what you did. They're backups like, yeah, like,
- 17:35Speaker 1: this is what you did. Did we get lucky versus Bama?
- 17:39Speaker 1: People said we did? Did we get lucky versus Kentucky?
- 17:43Speaker 1: People said? Maybe? Do we get They don't say that anymore.
- 17:46Speaker 1: This was awesome. If I were Texas, if I were
- 17:48Speaker 1: a text fan, I'd be a little bit embarrassed. You
- 17:51Speaker 1: happy for a win, never apologize for a win, and
- 17:54Speaker 1: that embarrassment goes away. After two weeks, Arkansas won some
- 17:56Speaker 1: games that I'm like, oh god, I'm kind of embarrassed.
- 17:58Speaker 2: By that two weeks ago.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It's just a w. Who cares? But I think if
- 18:02Speaker 1: I'm leaving that place, I'm like, I'm Texas, I'm like,
- 18:04Speaker 1: oh my god, we might not be as good as
- 18:06Speaker 1: we thought we were.
- 18:07Speaker 2: And QUINNI, you were started great? Yeah, it through too.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Was he ten for ten to start or something like that?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think there's a question anymore about who
- 18:14Speaker 1: their quarterback is, by the way I think it was shown.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Mike you, Oh, I should ask you. You were at
- 18:19Speaker 1: the game, you're a Texas fan, your thoughts.
- 18:21Speaker 5: I felt sick to my stomach the entire time. I
- 18:23Speaker 5: started getting visions of losing that game and having to
- 18:26Speaker 5: leave that place. I was gonna feel so embarrassed. It
- 18:28Speaker 5: should not have been that close.
- 18:30Speaker 1: How did you feel you won? How did you feel?
- 18:33Speaker 2: I don't feel like we won. I feel like we
- 18:34Speaker 2: just survived Vanderbilt, Like.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Yeah, well surviving in two weeks surviving still a W
- 18:39Speaker 1: on the schedule doesn't matter anymore. I get it because
- 18:42Speaker 1: I feel that way all the freaking time too. But
- 18:44Speaker 1: you'll be you won, like.
- 18:45Speaker 5: It's still a win, but like it didn't feel like
- 18:47Speaker 5: a win because they were like honest and they were
- 18:49Speaker 5: gonna crush us.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Man, they have, they do so much. Because when people
- 18:55Speaker 1: are like eye control, I'm like, I don't even know
- 18:57Speaker 1: about the heck's eye control. My one of min doesn't
- 18:59Speaker 1: even work eye control. But with Vandy, you kind of
- 19:02Speaker 1: see what they're talking about because they run so much.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Uh what's the word, Well, sure like run past auction,
- 19:10Speaker 1: but I'm talking about like read give me another word,
- 19:15Speaker 1: read option, No, give me another word, like it's not
- 19:17Speaker 1: it's not tricks that trick. It's like, I'll come back
- 19:20Speaker 1: to that word. But at the rates.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Audible misdirection, thank you, thank you to nobody next one
- 19:29Speaker 2: to help me.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Misdirection, But misdirection is not a trick, play like consistent misdirection. Uh,
- 19:36Speaker 1: let's go. Would you mind looking at Bandy's remaining schedule?
- 19:39Speaker 2: Did you see Diego Pavia's family in the crowd. Hilarious?
- 19:43Speaker 1: I don't think I did.
- 19:44Speaker 2: One of them. I guess you got a brother. It's
- 19:45Speaker 2: a firefighter brother, also lives in New Mexico. The shirt
- 19:49Speaker 2: off cowboy hat on.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I didn't know that was that was Eddie's family. Hey,
- 19:59Speaker 1: speaking of which is he a senior because that kind
- 20:02Speaker 1: of suck if he was I know because Vandy kind
- 20:05Speaker 1: of struck the old gold there by getting a guy.
- 20:07Speaker 1: If it's a dog, then nobody wanted. It's hard to
- 20:11Speaker 1: do that two and three times in a row. Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 1: but if you'll give me the schedule and I'll come
- 20:14Speaker 1: back to the brand of.
- 20:15Speaker 2: This, and if he's a senior, they play at Auburn.
- 20:18Speaker 1: He's coming now. Okay, Auburn did be Kentucky. Auburn is
- 20:21Speaker 1: getting better. He freezes a garbage can, just in general,
- 20:26Speaker 1: nobody wants to be that. He freezes a garbage can.
- 20:30Speaker 1: A garbage can that even if there wasn't a bag
- 20:33Speaker 1: in it, I'd take a dump in it. Oh, that's
- 20:37Speaker 1: not even a garbage can with a bag in it,
- 20:38Speaker 1: because I would at least respect the bag because you
- 20:40Speaker 1: could pull the bag out and throw it away. I'd
- 20:42Speaker 1: take a dump in the garbage in the can. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:45Speaker 1: he's garbage.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Are you so mad at what he said? If you
- 20:49Speaker 2: excuse it's the stupid thing, Okay, just making sure, like
- 20:51Speaker 2: anything else happen, a loser thing.
- 20:53Speaker 1: It's a loser thing to say, well, none more times
- 20:55Speaker 1: than not, even if you believe that, and maybe it's true,
- 20:59Speaker 1: it's not, but maybe it's true. You don't say that. Yeah,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I'd pick a dump right in there with no bag
- 21:05Speaker 1: and make them wash it out with a water hose.
- 21:07Speaker 1: What is it?
- 21:08Speaker 2: He's a fifth year senior. That sucks. No COVID year
- 21:13Speaker 2: probably already used it as a fifth year if he
- 21:16Speaker 2: had a red.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Shirt, because usually that's a six year, right.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Because it's possible. How long goes COVID four years ago? Possible?
- 21:26Speaker 2: And then they play at home against South Carolina? Okay,
- 21:28Speaker 2: well do I get Auburn?
- 21:29Speaker 1: Okay, let's just anything close. We're gonna say win, even
- 21:32Speaker 1: though we don't really believe it's win to be close.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Where do they go to Auburn?
- 21:35Speaker 3: Uh?
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't hope they take a dump in his
- 21:37Speaker 1: trash can number one? What's a Winkay?
- 21:39Speaker 2: South Carolina at home?
- 21:40Speaker 1: That's close. South Carolina ends up being like they're fighters.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And then play at LSU.
- 21:47Speaker 1: That's a tough baton roode. That's tough.
- 21:48Speaker 2: And then they play the Vauls home.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Oh, that's that's fine. You know what though, that's like
- 21:54Speaker 1: a rivalry game for a team that might have a
- 21:56Speaker 1: little rivalry in them. Yeah, so I think they'll probably
- 21:59Speaker 1: go one and through. But I there's an outside shot
- 22:01Speaker 1: they can win one or two.
- 22:02Speaker 2: What's the record right now?
- 22:06Speaker 1: All five and three? Four? Ah, I'm because I'm I'm
- 22:13Speaker 1: total bandy. I'm anchor up, anchored down an down, I'm both, dude.
- 22:16Speaker 1: So I'm telling you I go up and down. I
- 22:18Speaker 1: pulled the anchor up and go on a freaking boat ride.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Then I put it down.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Five and three awesome?
- 22:23Speaker 1: What are the conference too?
- 22:24Speaker 2: And two?
- 22:25Speaker 1: That's awesome even though they don't win another game.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I mean they're a head of Florida, South Carolina, Oklahoma.
- 22:31Speaker 1: They're building. So it's Texas good. Uh okay, I may
- 22:36Speaker 1: rephrase it, it's Texas good. Yeah, it's Texas great. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: don't think so Texas remaining schedule Florida, that's a win. Arkansas.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you I'm not preaking in Arkansas
- 22:49Speaker 1: win because you know me, I'm not gonna do I
- 22:50Speaker 1: don't just pick teams. But I'm going to tell you
- 22:53Speaker 1: that game is good if if we're able to beat
- 22:55Speaker 1: Ole miss batting down the hatches, because we will play
- 23:02Speaker 1: harder for that game than any game in the history
- 23:04Speaker 1: of our games. Texas, that's a big brother, dude. We
- 23:09Speaker 1: hate them you guys are good. The other day they're
- 23:10Speaker 1: richerd than us, They're bigger than us, they have more money,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and they're at the facilities they I mean, they got it.
- 23:17Speaker 1: They don't marry their cousins.
- 23:18Speaker 2: They do it all.
- 23:21Speaker 1: But we we will show up for that. If we
- 23:24Speaker 1: lose bad to old mess, we may not. Oh, you
- 23:27Speaker 1: have a Missippi state, Missippi State with US five to
- 23:28Speaker 1: be Missippi State. They did play decently against Georgia.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and at least it wasn't close. So you guys killed.
- 23:35Speaker 2: We ran MISSIPI and your quarterback what six touchdowns or something?
- 23:39Speaker 1: I think you threw five and ran for one. Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Pretty good, pretty good.
- 23:43Speaker 1: But they suck. But I think they are going to
- 23:46Speaker 1: be a little better next week, next year, excuse me.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Then they play Kentucky, they'll win that. And it's Texas
- 23:51Speaker 1: A and M. I think they'll win that too, if
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm being honest, although it is in Kyle Field. We'll
- 23:56Speaker 1: talk to Brandon Marcelo about that. But I do feel
- 23:58Speaker 1: like Arkansas is a toss up. Texas A and M
- 24:02Speaker 1: is a toss up. I think Texas has a forty
- 24:07Speaker 1: percent chance to lose another game. I think they're favorite
- 24:11Speaker 1: to win all four of them, forty percent chance to
- 24:13Speaker 1: lose another game, fifteen percent chance to lose two more.
- 24:17Speaker 1: That's the math meaning I'm doing like it's like the
- 24:19Speaker 1: ESPN thing that gives you the percentages that means nothing stats. Yeah,
- 24:23Speaker 1: That's what I'm giving you right now. Yeah, So there
- 24:26Speaker 1: he goes Texas good? Yes? Is Texas great? I don't
- 24:28Speaker 1: think so. Number five. I thought I would like saying
- 24:33Speaker 1: this more than I do, but I don't. I thought
- 24:36Speaker 1: I would love to make this point just because of
- 24:38Speaker 1: what I've been put through over the past few years. Oh,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you is not good. They're so not good that it
- 24:46Speaker 1: makes me sad, because not for my wife, because she
- 24:49Speaker 1: she has often compared to our coaching staff to two
- 24:51Speaker 1: kids and a trench coat. Oh you know how you
- 24:53Speaker 1: have two kids in on their shoulders and a trench coat.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, she's like, you have two kids. I gotta see.
- 24:58Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 24:58Speaker 2: That's hilarious.
- 25:00Speaker 1: My wife's way funnier than I am. So I don't
- 25:03Speaker 1: really care. And the kids are calling the play, hey,
- 25:07Speaker 1: oh yeah, she's like, you just put a little hat
- 25:09Speaker 1: on them. It's two kids in a trench coach is
- 25:10Speaker 1: calling whatever play they like. So I don't mind mind
- 25:14Speaker 1: it that they're not good for her, but like, I
- 25:18Speaker 1: love my father in law, and I hate that it
- 25:20Speaker 1: makes him sad because I know how it makes me
- 25:21Speaker 1: sad when Arkansas sucks. And I'm glad they did not
- 25:24Speaker 1: come into the SEC and just wreck shop, which is
- 25:26Speaker 1: one I'm hopeing Texas doesn't quite do. But they're four
- 25:29Speaker 1: and four on the season, which is okay, you're like
- 25:31Speaker 1: four and four, it's fine, But SEC play not good.
- 25:34Speaker 1: They've lost four out of the last five games, the
- 25:37Speaker 1: ranked thirteenth in the SEC. They have no offense.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's bad. They put all their eggs.
- 25:42Speaker 1: In the Jackson Arnold basket and then they benched him.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Then he says nicely to the staff, Hey, I'm here
- 25:51Speaker 1: for you, but you've benched me. If I play over
- 25:54Speaker 1: three to three or four games, I lose my red
- 25:57Speaker 1: shirt and I would like to not use my red shirt.
- 25:59Speaker 1: And so they that are the pressure quarterbacks playing and
- 26:01Speaker 1: he sucks. So they took JACKSONNTA put him back in
- 26:03Speaker 1: and lost his red shirt and he doesn't have one
- 26:05Speaker 1: at all because he played last year a little bit.
- 26:07Speaker 1: So I don't like that for him. They're not good.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Venables got an extension last year, and I was here, going,
- 26:17Speaker 1: why he hasn't done anything. He can play one more
- 26:21Speaker 1: year and give him an extension. I don't like that
- 26:24Speaker 1: they're so I can't believe I'm saying this because I
- 26:26Speaker 1: really thought i'd want him to lose every game. I
- 26:28Speaker 1: root for them, and it makes me sad because I
- 26:31Speaker 1: care about my father in law and I hate that
- 26:33Speaker 1: he's sad about it. And I was texting him. I
- 26:37Speaker 1: was like what, and he was, oh, I got to
- 26:39Speaker 1: me to tell you the bear story? The bear? Yeah,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I like it. Two in a second. The remaining schedule Maine,
- 26:44Speaker 1: they should have win that Missouri toss up. Missouri kind
- 26:48Speaker 1: of sucks.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Yeah, especially if cooks out for a while.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Even if cooks in. They Medium.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah, they were very good.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Alabama they'll lose. LSU, they'll lose. So they're looking at two.
- 26:58Speaker 2: You think you would enjoy it more if they were
- 26:59Speaker 2: at least competitive.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I'm just glad. Okay, I know what it is. They're
- 27:04Speaker 1: not better than Arkansas. Oh that's all I need them
- 27:06Speaker 1: to be. I wanted to win games. I just don't
- 27:08Speaker 1: want to be better than Arkansas. That Oklahoma State game
- 27:11Speaker 1: we lost, guys, kisses me off. Yeah, that's a while back. Man, dude,
- 27:15Speaker 1: it's you're still mad on fire? Could it be the
- 27:20Speaker 1: heat in the room or just fire ball. It's so
- 27:24Speaker 1: stupid we lost that game. Our season would be so
- 27:26Speaker 1: different if we had it. That's not just a game
- 27:28Speaker 1: you lost, It's a game we gave away. We said,
- 27:31Speaker 1: who wants a ticket? Who wants the ticket to embarrass us? Oh,
- 27:34Speaker 1: Oklahoma State does how this free ticket is awful?
- 27:37Speaker 2: And all of a sudden they're not very good at all.
- 27:39Speaker 1: They were never good.
- 27:40Speaker 2: That's what's so mad about it. They suck.
- 27:43Speaker 1: The Texas A and M game bothered me a bit
- 27:44Speaker 1: because we gave that game up in the second half.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Now it's not wasn't even they came and just played amazing.
- 27:48Speaker 1: We committed. It doesn't matter. But at least Texas A
- 27:50Speaker 1: and M's good. Oklahoma State sucks. And I like Oklahoma
- 27:53Speaker 1: State and I like their fans. Heck, I like them
- 27:55Speaker 1: better than Oklahoma until I got some fallen.
- 27:57Speaker 2: All sad.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Right, So those are my five things over the over
- 28:05Speaker 1: the weekend, Arkansas one those that was gonna happen. All right,
- 28:09Speaker 1: let's do this mar Parlay who lost. That was probably me.
- 28:13Speaker 2: M hm.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So let me see I have the I had Illinois
- 28:17Speaker 1: plus twenty two.
- 28:19Speaker 2: One and a half.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so what was what Kevin? You hit Notre Dame
- 28:24Speaker 1: minus thirteen. That was the easy one. That was over
- 28:26Speaker 1: from the beginning. I knew Alabama was just gonna crush Missouri,
- 28:30Speaker 1: no doubt, y Aboudie and then Eddie. I thought that
- 28:34Speaker 1: ILLINOI would cover that.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought they would too.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I didn't, but I didn't think it's as bad as
- 28:38Speaker 1: it was. And you can go back and hear me say,
- 28:40Speaker 1: I think they're gonna get run. There's a lot of points.
- 28:42Speaker 1: But the Illinois scored three nine nine.
- 28:46Speaker 2: It was ugly and like Oregon went up and then
- 28:49Speaker 2: Illinois scored and I was like, okay, at least maybe
- 28:51Speaker 2: they can cover, right, that's all we need. And it
- 28:52Speaker 2: was a kind of close. It was ugly.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so hey, that was on me and my bad.
- 28:58Speaker 1: That was on me. Guys, So good, that's all right.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Let's do Draft Kings pick six. We like to pick these.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Uh download the new Draft Kings Pick six app. He
- 29:06Speaker 1: used to go to Bobby Sports. So this is all
- 29:09Speaker 1: about selecting a player and see if you have more
- 29:11Speaker 1: or less of stats. You guys ready, yep, Russell Wilson
- 29:15Speaker 1: more or less than two hundred passing yards less less. Oh,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna go more. I think they're playing the Giants,
- 29:20Speaker 1: and I think Russell Wilson is not justin fields, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: I think he he actually looked I'm gonna say it.
- 29:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna say it, Okay, last week. I think it
- 29:30Speaker 1: gives that offense the ability to have a dimension it
- 29:35Speaker 1: did not have under justin fields. It takes one away too,
- 29:40Speaker 1: where fields would just run. But I think Russell Wilson, listen,
- 29:44Speaker 1: I'm not acting like he's gonna win the Heisman, because
- 29:47Speaker 1: you can't. In the NFL, you can you cannot do it.
- 29:52Speaker 1: But George Pickens too, like catches anything up a beautiful floater.
- 29:57Speaker 1: That's the thing he's thinking about Pickens, and I like
- 29:59Speaker 1: picking Pickings is awesome. He holds that ball to like
- 30:02Speaker 1: a loaf of bread and like he flips the ball. Yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 1: like it always looks awesome. But the one time I
- 30:08Speaker 1: think it was fumbling like crazy. Okay, So Russell Wilson,
- 30:12Speaker 1: I'll go more than two hundred. Daniel Jones more or
- 30:15Speaker 1: less than nine passing. I'm just kidding. Daniel Jones more
- 30:21Speaker 1: or less than one hundred and eighty eight passing yards,
- 30:23Speaker 1: I'll go over. No, you know what, that.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Pittsburgh defense is so good.
- 30:28Speaker 1: They are, but they do have neighbors back lak neighbors
- 30:31Speaker 1: more or lessan sixty seven receiving yards. You would think more.
- 30:34Speaker 1: But then if Daniel Jones only throws for like fifteen.
- 30:36Speaker 4: Yards offensive lineman that went down for them, Thomas or whatever.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I don't know, man Watson.
- 30:41Speaker 1: A lot of pressure. Are you guys going to under
- 30:42Speaker 1: on everything? It's gonna be the worst game ever.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yeah, three zero, I'll be watching the World Series.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Let's go to right.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm coming back. I have coming back. I have
- 30:51Speaker 1: friends that butt tickets to game five and so now
- 30:55Speaker 1: they could do the next three in New York. Yeah.
- 30:57Speaker 1: And he's like, please, God, I just went one. Yeah,
- 31:01Speaker 1: because I have by tickets. You get your money back.
- 31:03Speaker 1: But he's like, but you want to go to the game.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Of course you have tickets.

- 31:44Speaker 1: you're gonna hear from him here and at Brandon Marcelo
- 31:47Speaker 1: on his socials. Here he is talk college football. Brandon Marcello, Brandon, Hello,
- 31:52Speaker 1: my friend, Howdy Bobby. Hey. I want to start because
- 31:56Speaker 1: I watched a lot of football. I wonder how much
- 31:58Speaker 1: football you actually watch? Like the real life question, what
- 32:01Speaker 1: the heck are your saturdays? Like?
- 32:02Speaker 3: If I'm not on the road, I'm at home like
- 32:05Speaker 3: I was this past week. I watched football from eleven
- 32:10Speaker 3: am till one thirty whenever Washington State and San Diego
- 32:15Speaker 3: State ended, so I was glued to the TV all day.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Do you do things though, because I feel like I
- 32:20Speaker 1: do it as well. I definitely select the games that
- 32:22Speaker 1: I like, and I have YouTube TV and I'm patching
- 32:24Speaker 1: things together. But for example, and this is not great,
- 32:28Speaker 1: based on how this game ended the LSU Texas A
- 32:31Speaker 1: and M game and halftime, I was like, this game's over.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna go take a break and just kind of
- 32:34Speaker 1: get away, because there's no way to do you ever
- 32:37Speaker 1: walk away and then come back and be like, oh
- 32:38Speaker 1: my god? Or do you just commit?
- 32:40Speaker 3: I try to commit as much as possible. I try
- 32:42Speaker 3: to put on every game that I have available to me,
- 32:45Speaker 3: so I have as many as nine games going on
- 32:47Speaker 3: at the same time, either through YouTube, multiview or through
- 32:51Speaker 3: another account I've got. I've got a large wide screen
- 32:55Speaker 3: computer screen, I got a couple of TVs around me.
- 32:59Speaker 3: I was flipping back and forth from the main feed
- 33:01Speaker 3: between that game and Penn State Wisconsin pretty religiously. But
- 33:08Speaker 3: there are some games that I'll put on in the
- 33:10Speaker 3: background that I'm not paying a lot of attention to,
- 33:13Speaker 3: which immediately this week ended up being SMU Duke, which
- 33:18Speaker 3: ended up being an incredible finish just because it was
- 33:22Speaker 3: just kind of an ugly game, but I try. You know,
- 33:25Speaker 3: people say they watch all these games, they know exactly
- 33:27Speaker 3: what's happening in everyone. It's impossible to do so. But
- 33:31Speaker 3: I'll tell you what really helps me is Twitter, Like
- 33:34Speaker 3: whenever something BIG's happening, usually get an alert from someone
- 33:38Speaker 3: like thirty seconds before it's on your TV, so you
- 33:40Speaker 3: can flip over and watch the play develop after the fact.
- 33:43Speaker 3: So that's kind of great.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I do want to start with the LSU Texas A
- 33:47Speaker 1: and m game, because again, the game seemed over at
- 33:50Speaker 1: half and I am a loser, and I jumped out
- 33:52Speaker 1: and was like, I'm out. It reminds me of the
- 33:54Speaker 1: Alabama Georgia game earlier. I was like, I'm out and
- 33:56Speaker 1: then I look and see like, oh my god, the
- 33:58Speaker 1: game is flipped. But Texas A and M n's up
- 34:01Speaker 1: winning that game, and we've seen their and Elko seems
- 34:06Speaker 1: to be genius at quarterbacks because Wegman was benched, Reed
- 34:09Speaker 1: comes in and leads the comeback. I don't know who's
- 34:13Speaker 1: the quarterback.
- 34:14Speaker 3: There, Marcel Reid. He should be the quarterback moving forward.
- 34:17Speaker 3: In fact, back in Week three when Connor was injured
- 34:21Speaker 3: and they went on the road, to Florida and they
- 34:22Speaker 3: started Marcel Reid. I thought it was clear then, like
- 34:25Speaker 3: this is your quarterback, Marcel Reid. Keep him out there.
- 34:28Speaker 3: But when Connor got healthy, they brought him back. After
- 34:30Speaker 3: a couple of weeks. The offense kept going and they
- 34:33Speaker 3: kept winning, including a big win against Miszoo at home.
- 34:36Speaker 3: But you just knew Marcel Reid, because of his duality,
- 34:39Speaker 3: added a different kind of spice and flavor to that offense.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Coming off the bench against LSU, his first three drives,
- 34:45Speaker 3: he rushes for touchdowns, turn that game around entirely. Put
- 34:49Speaker 3: a lot of pressure on the other quarterback, Garrett Dunsmyer
- 34:52Speaker 3: for LSU, who a lot of people think might be
- 34:54Speaker 3: the best quarterback in the country this year, and he
- 34:57Speaker 3: suddenly just forgot how to play the position, throwing three interceptions.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Look lost out there, look like he was seeing ghosts.
- 35:04Speaker 3: At Texas, A and M an incredible game. I mean
- 35:07Speaker 3: LSU had won one hundred and four straight games. When
- 35:11Speaker 3: leading by ten points at halftime, it ended up losing
- 35:14Speaker 3: by twelve in a game that really wasn't even that close.
- 35:17Speaker 3: In the second half. A and M just absolutely dominated.
- 35:20Speaker 3: A and M has gotta stick with Marcel Reid moving forward,
- 35:23Speaker 3: because it makes him so much more dangerous moving forward
- 35:27Speaker 3: as a potential SEC champion this year.
- 35:29Speaker 1: So Oko's press conference after I did watch that, and
- 35:33Speaker 1: I'm not sure how much of you caught, but he
- 35:35Speaker 1: was like, we're a real program, We're not polled. Who
- 35:38Speaker 1: was that shot at.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Maybe perhaps his predecessor, Jimbo Fisher. I thought that was
- 35:46Speaker 3: very interesting, to say the least. Elko's not the type
- 35:48Speaker 3: of guy to just absolutely call someone out or even
- 35:51Speaker 3: do so underhanded or back end however you want to
- 35:54Speaker 3: say it. But that was directed at Jimbo Fisher and
- 35:57Speaker 3: way he handled that program in previous years. And he
- 36:01Speaker 3: came over and take over that program this fast spring
- 36:03Speaker 3: and summer, and it was so all so much drama
- 36:06Speaker 3: in the back back in there, and he was like, listen,
- 36:09Speaker 3: we're just gonna shut our doors here, We're just gonna
- 36:11Speaker 3: go to work. We're not dealing with this stuff and
- 36:14Speaker 3: how good we could be or anything like that. Don't
- 36:16Speaker 3: go talk to the media. Everything's to be in house here.
- 36:19Speaker 3: And sure enough that plan has worked for him. And
- 36:22Speaker 3: you know, Mike Elko is a Jimbo guy. He worked
- 36:25Speaker 3: for Jimbo there previously as a defensive coordinator, and but
- 36:29Speaker 3: I was still surprised that he would go that far
- 36:31Speaker 3: and just say that out loud. But that's what happened. Sometimes.
- 36:34Speaker 3: That's why this sport's so great, because you're caught up
- 36:36Speaker 3: in the moment after a big win like that and
- 36:38Speaker 3: you start saying the quiet part out loud.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I was hoping it was Sark, though, I'll be honest
- 36:42Speaker 1: with you, because I was like, surely it's not Jimbo.
- 36:44Speaker 1: He worked for Jimbo. I was hoping it was Sark,
- 36:46Speaker 1: just getting it ready for that final week. But let's
- 36:49Speaker 1: talk about Texas for a second. Yeah, Vanderbilt. You know
- 36:53Speaker 1: they they they don't stop. There was a really good game.
- 36:57Speaker 1: It was closer than I think Texas wanted or expect it.
- 37:00Speaker 1: I'm starting to think Texas is a fraud. Really, I
- 37:04Speaker 1: mean it's Vanderbilt.
- 37:06Speaker 3: I was actually kind of impressed by the way Texas
- 37:09Speaker 3: played in that game because Quinn eurostows an interception early
- 37:14Speaker 3: for Texas. Vanderbilt goes and scores, and then what does
- 37:17Speaker 3: Quinn Ewers do. He almost breaks the school record for
- 37:20Speaker 3: consecutive pass completions, then leads them to three straight touchdown
- 37:24Speaker 3: drives to take a lead. Of course, Vanderbilt was going
- 37:27Speaker 3: to battle back. You knew they were going to, especially
- 37:29Speaker 3: in Nashville with Diego Pavia a quarterback. But I actually
- 37:32Speaker 3: was very impressed by the way Texas responded after the
- 37:37Speaker 3: way that game started. That was my main takeaway from that.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Now is Texas a top three or top four team.
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'm not so certain about that. That's why I've got
- 37:46Speaker 3: them ranked lower than maybe a lot of people. But
- 37:49Speaker 3: right now, I mean, coming out of that game, I
- 37:51Speaker 3: actually kind of feel a little bit better about Texas.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Well. I'm coming from an anti bias. I hate freaking Texas,
- 37:55Speaker 1: so I think Texas was a fraud all the time
- 37:57Speaker 1: every year. And I think, and this is a really
- 38:00Speaker 1: just a compliment to Vanderbilt. I think they're playing way
- 38:04Speaker 1: above their means. I think that they don't have the
- 38:07Speaker 1: horses that Texas has, and I think that offense is
- 38:10Speaker 1: also pretty cool because it's all misdirection all the time,
- 38:12Speaker 1: but not even quite like Navy misdirection or Vanderbilt is
- 38:17Speaker 1: playing as good as they possibly can with what they have.
- 38:20Speaker 1: It's exciting to see. But the fact that Texas didn't
- 38:22Speaker 1: run them fraud super fraud. I hate Texas, so I'm
- 38:26Speaker 1: sticking with super fraud Brandon. So, okay, Texas has nobody
- 38:30Speaker 1: else really to play though, I mean, they play Arkansas,
- 38:31Speaker 1: they play Texas A and M. But okay, if I'm
- 38:34Speaker 1: taking my bias out, they should be Darkansas. Can Texas
- 38:37Speaker 1: A and M? Do you think they and the Texas game?
- 38:41Speaker 1: Texa A and M can play with Texas?
- 38:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I think so, and that games in College Station.
- 38:46Speaker 3: I actually kind of wrestled over the weekend about whether
- 38:49Speaker 3: I should put A and M above Texas and my
- 38:51Speaker 3: rankings at this point, just because A and M looks
- 38:55Speaker 3: so much better consistently weak to week as far as
- 38:58Speaker 3: just improvement, and now they've got a difference maker at
- 39:01Speaker 3: quarterback and Marcel Reid that I think actually makes them
- 39:04Speaker 3: better from what we've seen in previous weeks. And that
- 39:07Speaker 3: game being in College Station later this year maybe gives
- 39:11Speaker 3: the edge a little bit to the Aggies going forward.
- 39:13Speaker 3: You know, A and M. Just again, they've been working
- 39:15Speaker 3: quietly in the background, not a lot of hype around them,
- 39:18Speaker 3: yet they just keep winning.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Well, it's a sec Mississippi Ole miss almost lost to
- 39:24Speaker 1: Oklahoma as far as first half it's a game. Win
- 39:26Speaker 1: in the first half, that's ballgame. It doesn't Oklahoma kind
- 39:28Speaker 1: of sucks Ole Miss Like I don't know. I guess
- 39:32Speaker 1: I'm not as bullish on Old Miss as I was
- 39:34Speaker 1: when the year started, are you.
- 39:36Speaker 3: No, I'm not. You know, Offensively, they get just enough
- 39:39Speaker 3: done to get things done, but you know, they're not
- 39:41Speaker 3: as explosive as they were earlier in the year. Defensively,
- 39:45Speaker 3: that's really what's carried them, and that's what carried them
- 39:47Speaker 3: in the second half against Ou. They shut them down.
- 39:49Speaker 3: They can slow the run, they got one of the
- 39:51Speaker 3: top rush defenses in the country, but they kind of
- 39:54Speaker 3: freelance a little bit. As one of my buddies, Cole
- 39:56Speaker 3: Kublick has put earlier today when he was talking about
- 39:59Speaker 3: Ole Misses defensive line, they kind of just don't play
- 40:02Speaker 3: assignment football at times, and they're talented enough to slow
- 40:05Speaker 3: teams doing that, but at some point it's gonna come
- 40:08Speaker 3: up and bite them. It's already been them twice this season.
- 40:10Speaker 3: But you can't do that against higher tier opponents, and
- 40:13Speaker 3: obviously OU's not one of them, so they were able
- 40:15Speaker 3: to escape out there with the win.
- 40:17Speaker 1: I become biased once I get to know a lot
- 40:19Speaker 1: of these coaches. Some I do like, some I don't like.
- 40:21Speaker 1: But I like Elko a lot didn't know Elco spent
- 40:24Speaker 1: some time talking like I love that dude, So it
- 40:26Speaker 1: makes me root for Texas A and M. I also
- 40:29Speaker 1: like Drink. However, sometimes he can do things on the
- 40:33Speaker 1: field that makes me think he's a big chump. For example,
- 40:36Speaker 1: they get run by Alabama. I expected that obviously they
- 40:39Speaker 1: didn't have their quarterback, but it was almost Auburn esque
- 40:44Speaker 1: earlier this year when he's like, if we play Arkansas
- 40:46Speaker 1: nine more times out of nine, we beat all night.
- 40:48Speaker 1: At the end of the game, you can see Drink
- 40:50Speaker 1: take his head set off and go, look, you, we
- 40:52Speaker 1: didn't have our quarterback, And I'm like, do you really
- 40:54Speaker 1: need to say like everybody already knows that, do you
- 40:56Speaker 1: need to say that on the field? Like, I like Drink,
- 40:59Speaker 1: but I did feel that was kind of a chump
- 41:00Speaker 1: thing to know your thoughts on that.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, they're gonna get run even with Brady
- 41:04Speaker 3: Cook out there. Miszoo's problem hasn't necessarily been a quarterback.
- 41:07Speaker 3: With they're dealing with injuries right now, It's just that
- 41:09Speaker 3: they at running back they've missed Cody Schrader from last year,
- 41:12Speaker 3: who was incredible, kind of came out of nowhere for them.
- 41:15Speaker 3: He was a straw that mixed the drink for them,
- 41:17Speaker 3: and they're missing that. And it's not just been at Alabama.
- 41:21Speaker 3: We saw them already get blown out on the road
- 41:22Speaker 3: in their first SEC road game at Texas A and
- 41:25Speaker 3: M with Brady Cook out there at quarterback, so they
- 41:28Speaker 3: they've they're got more issues there than just a quarterback.
- 41:31Speaker 3: They're missing what they did last year at their running
- 41:33Speaker 3: back position.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I think I would yell the same thing that Drink
- 41:36Speaker 1: does because I think I would be a chump. I
- 41:37Speaker 1: think if that happened to me, I.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Would be like, oh yeah, you's nothing.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Which did we go to a quarterback? I just thought
- 41:41Speaker 1: that was hilarious. Even when I look back at Drink
- 41:43Speaker 1: when he goes on the field with hypol and is
- 41:45Speaker 1: like we stand on business.
- 41:46Speaker 2: It was like that was a weird time to.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Say that, and it he could beat you up, like
- 41:51Speaker 1: right then, That's what it felt like, like he could
- 41:52Speaker 1: beat you up if he wanted to right then. And
- 41:53Speaker 1: I would Drink as a dude, like I really like,
- 41:57Speaker 1: I love it, But sometimes I'm not so proud of
- 42:00Speaker 1: what he says in the heat of the moment, much
- 42:02Speaker 1: like me when I lose something.
- 42:04Speaker 2: So Drink, though, did not come up traditionally. Do you
- 42:07Speaker 2: think that's why he acts the way he does.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I think he's just got to do a
- 42:11Speaker 3: better job of picking his spots when to say things
- 42:14Speaker 3: like that. But you know, last year, for example, when
- 42:16Speaker 3: they went on the incredible run one double digit games,
- 42:19Speaker 3: they went to Arkansas Blue Arkansas Out. I went to
- 42:21Speaker 3: that game because I had nothing going on that weekend
- 42:24Speaker 3: and covered it and I did a story on Drink
- 42:26Speaker 3: because he was a high school coach, came through the
- 42:29Speaker 3: high school ranks in Arkansas and just ten miles up
- 42:31Speaker 3: the road, tried to go for a head coaching gig
- 42:34Speaker 3: at Springdale High School and didn't get it. They didn't
- 42:36Speaker 3: want to promote him from within, and so he was like,
- 42:39Speaker 3: I think I'm just going to quit football and get
- 42:41Speaker 3: out of it. Then a couple years later he jumped
- 42:43Speaker 3: into college ball thanks to Gus Malson giving him like
- 42:46Speaker 3: a GA gig, and here he is now. I think
- 42:48Speaker 3: he's just kind of he's built that way. He's built
- 42:51Speaker 3: a little bit differently he's been accustomed to people always
- 42:54Speaker 3: doubting him and not giving him chances or whatever. So yeah,
- 42:58Speaker 3: I like that from him. It's a special actually much
- 43:00Speaker 3: more entertaining when you're winning. Yes, I think Eli. We'll
- 43:05Speaker 3: see what happens. You know where Eli I think would
- 43:07Speaker 3: do very well at not just coaching wise, but also
- 43:10Speaker 3: with the public persona he has Florida. Can you imagine
- 43:14Speaker 3: him at Florida and talking the way he does. If
- 43:16Speaker 3: they're recruiting very well and winning ball games, that could
- 43:18Speaker 3: be a lot of fun.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I'll say it again, I love him, but he does
- 43:23Speaker 1: stuff that I would do, And sometimes I look back
- 43:24Speaker 1: at me and I'm like, I wish I would have
- 43:26Speaker 1: done that, But like it's just those times when he
- 43:28Speaker 1: just yells things that are so unconventional where I'm like,
- 43:30Speaker 1: oh man, people are going to get you for that,
- 43:32Speaker 1: But I'd have done the same thing. But no, I
- 43:34Speaker 1: love drink. And when I say that publicly, all the
- 43:36Speaker 1: Arkansas fans like, you're so out. Okay, let's move on
- 43:39Speaker 1: to I got a couple more games here that I watch.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Because I watched a bunch I thought Nebraska was going
- 43:43Speaker 1: to beat Ohio State. They had him. They after getting
- 43:49Speaker 1: run by Indiana last week. I was like, this is
- 43:51Speaker 1: the greatest Matt Rule bounce back in the history of
- 43:53Speaker 1: bounce backs. The last possession they do a pick after
- 43:58Speaker 1: Ohio State ran it down. But I mean more than
- 44:01Speaker 1: Ohio State winning. What does that say about Nebraska going
- 44:04Speaker 1: to Ohio State after getting run by Indiana the week before?
- 44:08Speaker 1: They did lose, But I think this is a big
- 44:10Speaker 1: step forward in the program. And I hate moral victories,
- 44:12Speaker 1: but I liked what I saw with Nebraska your thoughts
- 44:16Speaker 1: I did too.
- 44:16Speaker 3: And I think a lot of people are sick of
- 44:18Speaker 3: giving the moral victories to Nebraska because they've lost so
- 44:21Speaker 3: many one possession games over the last three to four years,
- 44:23Speaker 3: even before Matt Rule was there. But this did seem different, right.
- 44:28Speaker 3: They held Ohio State to only sixty four yards rushing,
- 44:30Speaker 3: which should be their strength offensively, and Nebraska had two
- 44:35Speaker 3: to three opportunities actually win that game. I mean they
- 44:37Speaker 3: led in the fourth quarter, they got stood up near
- 44:40Speaker 3: to the goal line. This is a game that Nebraska
- 44:42Speaker 3: not maybe should have won. They were going to win it.
- 44:46Speaker 3: They looked like they were in position to win it,
- 44:48Speaker 3: and they just couldn't get over the hump there always
- 44:50Speaker 3: seemed to be one inch short in every single tight game.
- 44:54Speaker 3: I don't know why, what it is, but this game
- 44:57Speaker 3: felt different because they did it on the road and
- 45:00Speaker 3: they held the strength of Ohio State in that run
- 45:02Speaker 3: game to sixty four yards. I think got something huge
- 45:05Speaker 3: for them to build off of going down the stretch.
- 45:07Speaker 1: When I ask you about one more game, and it's
- 45:09Speaker 1: gonna be the Oregon Illinois game, I did not think
- 45:11Speaker 1: that it would be the blowout that it is. I
- 45:12Speaker 1: thought Oregon would win. Oregon just seems like at that
- 45:15Speaker 1: snowball who continues to rolling it bigger and bigger and bigger.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I mean they almost lose and again Boise State. At
- 45:20Speaker 1: beginning of the year, we probably did not respect how
- 45:23Speaker 1: good they actually are, but they had a couple of
- 45:25Speaker 1: close games early on. They it was over from the
- 45:27Speaker 1: start like they ran Illinois. So what does it say
- 45:30Speaker 1: about both programs?
- 45:32Speaker 3: Well, Oregon they had offensive line issues because of injuries
- 45:35Speaker 3: and everything earlier in the year. They finally started figuring
- 45:37Speaker 3: that out by week three getting healthy there. And their
- 45:40Speaker 3: passing game is so creative and from the standpoint of
- 45:44Speaker 3: they're not going to throw a lot of balls deep,
- 45:45Speaker 3: but they do a lot of short game stuff. In fact,
- 45:47Speaker 3: I think they went into this pass game with the
- 45:49Speaker 3: lowest average of passing yards against air, like at six
- 45:52Speaker 3: and a half yards. But their receivers are some of
- 45:55Speaker 3: the best blockers in the country. They get guys open,
- 45:57Speaker 3: they get them some running lanes, and they catch the
- 45:59Speaker 3: ball short and they can run up field. Illinois, I
- 46:02Speaker 3: don't think has anything to worry about here. They're still
- 46:05Speaker 3: very much a top twenty five type team. It's just
- 46:08Speaker 3: that they play their type of offense. They try to
- 46:10Speaker 3: play keep away for you and then also try to
- 46:13Speaker 3: hit stuff up top. I think Illinois kind of got
- 46:15Speaker 3: in a shell. They try to play keep away, but
- 46:18Speaker 3: they never really went up top as much as they
- 46:20Speaker 3: should have in the first half. They finally started doing
- 46:22Speaker 3: that in the second half, but the game was already
- 46:24Speaker 3: out of hand at that point. I thought Illinois is
- 46:26Speaker 3: gonna be able to dictate the tempo a little bit
- 46:28Speaker 3: better on the road in this game and make it
- 46:30Speaker 3: lower scoring. But when they didn't go up top early
- 46:33Speaker 3: and Oregon was able to score on their first couple
- 46:34Speaker 3: of drives, they kind of snowball from there. As you
- 46:37Speaker 3: put it, Oregon just kind of when they get things going,
- 46:40Speaker 3: there's no really no way of stopping them.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Do you get to watch the NFL on Sunday or
- 46:43Speaker 1: is a family Like all right, bro, you're maxed out,
- 46:46Speaker 1: you saturdayed up?
- 46:47Speaker 2: It's with us.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Now.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I don't watch the NFL really at all anymore. I
- 46:51Speaker 3: haven't watched the NFL maybe a full game in like
- 46:53Speaker 3: six years. Like I know Detroit's good, and that's about it.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Like I used to use thel in the Red Zone
- 47:01Speaker 3: Network as my background noise on Sundays when I would work,
- 47:04Speaker 3: and I'd look up and watch every now and again.
- 47:06Speaker 3: But now I don't even have it on at all.
- 47:08Speaker 3: I have no idea what's going on in the NFL.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I'm going to ask you it's a semi personal, professional question,
- 47:13Speaker 1: and I know you'll be humble, so I'm going to
- 47:15Speaker 1: ask you to limit your humbleness as much as you
- 47:17Speaker 1: possibly can. I do think that you are you're by
- 47:20Speaker 1: far my favorite collegiate writer. I feel like your career
- 47:26Speaker 1: is starting to pop at a level that it hasn't yet.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Do you feel that right now?
- 47:31Speaker 1: Are you starting to feel a bit more in demand
- 47:34Speaker 1: at what you know and how you express it? And
- 47:37Speaker 1: are the interview requests coming in like hot and heavy.
- 47:40Speaker 3: I will say I'm getting bigger requests. I try to
- 47:43Speaker 3: do everything I can possibly. I love what I do.
- 47:47Speaker 3: I love talking about what I do. I love writing
- 47:49Speaker 3: about everything. I love sharing stories. I love sharing other
- 47:52Speaker 3: people's stories, and so I try to do everything. Like
- 47:55Speaker 3: if you've got a small podcast, like I've done podcasts
- 47:58Speaker 3: with kids teenagers that have maybe I don't know, two
- 48:01Speaker 3: three listeners. I don't know, but I'll go sitting down
- 48:03Speaker 3: and talk with them for an hour on their podcast.
- 48:05Speaker 3: I just love doing I do, and I also know
- 48:07Speaker 3: that like for me, I was covering junior high boys
- 48:10Speaker 3: and girls basketball fifteen years ago. I just loved doing it.
- 48:14Speaker 3: I love seeing kids, whether it's in college or younger,
- 48:20Speaker 3: just overcoming a lot of odds and doing things. You know,
- 48:23Speaker 3: I've told people like this and speaking engagements. You know.
- 48:26Speaker 3: I grew up in the state of Arkansas. I moved here.
- 48:29Speaker 3: I wasn't like a football guy, but I moved close
- 48:31Speaker 3: to Fayetelle, Arkansas, and my first year paying attention, that
- 48:35Speaker 3: was in nineteen ninety eight, and they started winning games
- 48:38Speaker 3: and they went eight to oh and they were playing
- 48:39Speaker 3: number one Tennessee and I just like gravitated toward it,
- 48:43Speaker 3: and like, in a lot of ways, college football raised
- 48:47Speaker 3: me in a lot of ways. I didn't have a
- 48:48Speaker 3: father in home, and I started paying attention to it,
- 48:52Speaker 3: and I started reading the newspaper and following these college
- 48:54Speaker 3: kids who weren't much older than me, and how similar
- 48:57Speaker 3: some of their backgrounds were to me, and I loved
- 49:00Speaker 3: seeing them doing good things and I gravitated that, and
- 49:03Speaker 3: it's just been it's this is an absolute pleasure. I'm
- 49:07Speaker 3: in love with college football because of what it did
- 49:10Speaker 3: for me. And now the platform has provided me now
- 49:13Speaker 3: to be able to share their stories and hopefully that
- 49:15Speaker 3: that comes through. But I hope, hopefully my passion comes through, Bobby.
- 49:18Speaker 3: I hope that hope that's the case.
- 49:19Speaker 1: The passion is coming through. And it's like I'm watching
- 49:22Speaker 1: like a tadpole turn into a little fish and I
- 49:25Speaker 1: was turning to a this giant bat and I'm like
- 49:27Speaker 1: just so happy for you because like, yeah, you're doing
- 49:30Speaker 1: massive hits now, dude, I'm so happy for you. We'll
- 49:33Speaker 1: have you on again next week. But really, you can
- 49:35Speaker 1: kill it. Are you doing the are you doing the podcast?
- 49:38Speaker 3: Yeah? You should promote that.
- 49:40Speaker 2: You should promote to say something about it, but to
- 49:41Speaker 2: what we are here for.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Promote it.
- 49:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Every Monday morning, eight o'clock Central time, it's the
- 49:46Speaker 3: Middle Eight review the past week and of course looking
- 49:48Speaker 3: forward to the upcoming games. Every Monday morning at eight
- 49:52Speaker 3: Central time. You go find on YouTube. Go search for it.
- 49:55Speaker 1: But it's not just live because I don't want people
- 49:57Speaker 1: to watch it live because my show is on, So
- 49:59Speaker 1: don't watch it live. But I'm saying they can hear it.
- 50:02Speaker 1: It's up right when it's over.
- 50:04Speaker 3: Yeah, get anywhere you get podcasts to you, you can
- 50:06Speaker 3: find it. Just look for Middle eight.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Middle eight. I'm telling you, he is the best. Brandon Marcelo.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Good to talk to you. We'll talk to you again
- 50:13Speaker 1: next week. Thank you for your time. And we're not
- 50:15Speaker 1: one of those podcasts with two people. We literally have millions.
- 50:17Speaker 1: I know you're like, I'm doing them charity, I'm doing
- 50:19Speaker 1: what're the kids? To him, that's what he's talking about.
- 50:21Speaker 1: We literally have millions of people to listen to this.
- 50:23Speaker 1: We're very happy about it. We just don't want you
- 50:24Speaker 1: to think we're like seven year old you're donating your
- 50:26Speaker 1: time to Brandon.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Well you're not. You're big time Bobby. Yeah, listen. I
- 50:32Speaker 3: am incredibly and uh surprised that I'm able to do
- 50:36Speaker 3: stuff with you, Bobby. It's a pleasure.
- 50:37Speaker 1: Man, Brandon, have a great day. I'm sure you have
- 50:40Speaker 1: a full day, and we'll talk to you next week. Man,
- 50:41Speaker 1: all right, Brandon, Marcelo, everybody. The Dwayne Wade statue is
- 50:44Speaker 1: a disaster. It is a disaster. I've not seen as
- 50:48Speaker 1: bad because it doesn't look like I'm gonna do a
- 50:51Speaker 1: mild flex. I haven't seen it yet. No mild mi
- 50:54Speaker 1: mile flex. Look it up quick while there. The mild
- 50:56Speaker 1: is the flexes. I've been to Italy a few times.
- 50:58Speaker 2: I've been to Paris.
- 50:59Speaker 1: I've seen statue that they made hundreds of thousands of
- 51:01Speaker 1: years ago, without the technology they have now to make statues.
- 51:05Speaker 1: They are better than what this Dwayne Wade would Really,
- 51:07Speaker 1: it doesn't even look It looks nothing like him. The
- 51:09Speaker 1: only thing that looks like him is his mouth is
- 51:11Speaker 1: open from that one picture they put up. Yeah, but
- 51:14Speaker 1: he looks like he's in pain or something. How did
- 51:17Speaker 1: someone not stop this statue from being revealed like swollen?
- 51:23Speaker 1: One person should have been like, it looks like he's defecating.
- 51:26Speaker 1: He's like, you know, Ron maybe we don't do that
- 51:29Speaker 1: on Tuesday. Yeah, yeah, maybe we Uh, it's it's bad.
- 51:33Speaker 2: It's so bad. And then I look.
- 51:34Speaker 1: I tried to look at it from a few different pictures,
- 51:36Speaker 1: meaning not just the official because I thought maybe just
- 51:39Speaker 1: the angle. No, it doesn't. It looks like an It
- 51:42Speaker 1: looks like an alien.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks like nothing like him, Like take that
- 51:46Speaker 2: heat jersey off. How many you think you ever ever
- 51:49Speaker 2: guess that?
- 51:49Speaker 1: Absolutely, I'm trying my best to make it look like him,
- 51:52Speaker 1: and I just can't do it. And I had to
- 51:53Speaker 1: find different pictures in the same way. I was like,
- 51:55Speaker 1: I want to what it looks like Theano's it does
- 51:59Speaker 1: look like I feel bad for Dwayne Wade because obviously
- 52:02Speaker 1: he did. He doesn't deserve that. I know, he's a
- 52:04Speaker 1: legend there.
- 52:05Speaker 2: He's got to come back back.
- 52:06Speaker 4: You guys, he should steal it himself and replace it
- 52:09Speaker 4: with They're like, oh, I can't believe somebody stole statue.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Guess you got to make another one. God, dang the
- 52:17Speaker 1: let's talk about Indiana for a second. Man, Signetti's awesome.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Dang Uh.
- 52:21Speaker 2: What I hope is you pull up their schedule please.
- 52:23Speaker 1: I know that they're gonna have Ohio State and maybe
- 52:27Speaker 1: in two to three weeks, and that's gonna be fine.
- 52:28Speaker 1: They're seven to no first time since like I don't
- 52:31Speaker 1: know they made those Italian statues back in the day.
- 52:33Speaker 1: I think it's like sixty eight or something. The first
- 52:35Speaker 1: time they've been seven and oh, I'm rooting for him.
- 52:39Speaker 1: I know, right, no good. I think I reform because
- 52:41Speaker 1: I read I like you like Signetti's awesome. For the record,
- 52:46Speaker 1: I've been on the Snatti train for more than just
- 52:47Speaker 1: the last few weeks. You have maybe three weeks, no
- 52:50Speaker 1: more than that, maybe four, okay four, But what do
- 52:55Speaker 1: they have.
- 52:55Speaker 2: They got Michigan State at Michigan.
- 52:57Speaker 1: State, they're gonna that's nothing.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Then against Michigan at home, Okay, that should be something.
- 53:03Speaker 2: But I think probably we feel good about that, and
- 53:06Speaker 2: then the big one at Ohio State.
- 53:08Speaker 1: I was watching an interview with Signette, the Indiana head coach,
- 53:10Speaker 1: and then we're talking about when he gets on his players,
- 53:12Speaker 1: and I can't shake this from my mind, and he's like,
- 53:15Speaker 1: if we're down at half, I'm cool. We go in
- 53:18Speaker 1: and we're like, hey, here's just what we're not doing, Like,
- 53:21Speaker 1: let's remember this was our foundation getting into it left
- 53:28Speaker 1: right back, and he's like, it's cool. It's like we
- 53:30Speaker 1: just need to readdress and feel good about what we're
- 53:31Speaker 1: gonna do. He goes, if we're up by thirty, I
- 53:34Speaker 1: f and ripped their heads off because that's when you
- 53:36Speaker 1: all turn into little pussies.
- 53:37Speaker 2: And oh he was just good dude.
- 53:39Speaker 1: He was going at it. Really. He was like, because
- 53:41Speaker 1: that's when teams come back to beat us. He was like,
- 53:43Speaker 1: that's when I maybe didn't pussy says something else, but
- 53:46Speaker 1: it felt like plus says yeah, or like who says
- 53:51Speaker 1: puts a final recks dinosaur, but that I can't stop
- 53:57Speaker 1: thinking about that because it's so counterintuitive to what you
- 54:00Speaker 1: think it would be, like you really let them have it,
- 54:01Speaker 1: like what are we doing? But it's like, no, no,
- 54:03Speaker 1: if we're not if it's not right by the way,
- 54:05Speaker 1: I don't think fact check this. I don't think they
- 54:07Speaker 1: have ever not had the lead all year long. I
- 54:11Speaker 1: don't think they've ever been behind.
- 54:13Speaker 2: I know they've won every game by at least fourteen.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Cool not what I said an interesting stat Yeah, I
- 54:21Speaker 1: just messing with you, but I don't think they've ever
- 54:22Speaker 1: been behind. But isn't that tough though?
- 54:24Speaker 4: As a player, You're like, God, we come in like, yeah,
- 54:27Speaker 4: but that's why, boys, But that's why, that's exactly why.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Well you almost got punished for playing really well. Nope,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I would say the two things are happening. And I again,
- 54:36Speaker 1: I thought about this video. Since I've seen it, it
- 54:37Speaker 1: will not leave my head. The two reasons. One because
- 54:40Speaker 1: that's when teams come back, right, That's when if you're
- 54:42Speaker 1: down winning eighteen twenty one, twenty four two, that's when
- 54:45Speaker 1: you get hurt. If you're not going hard, that's when
- 54:48Speaker 1: you get hurt. And he's like, we're not gonna have it.
- 54:51Speaker 1: So if I'm gonna when I let them have it,
- 54:54Speaker 1: it's when we're up because they are not to let up.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I thought it's pretty awesome, pretty interesting. I heard them
- 55:00Speaker 1: for him, he's in his sixties, but he's getting like
- 55:02Speaker 1: the energy of his more ergery than I do. Like
- 55:05Speaker 1: like it's like I don't know, seventy nine in here,
- 55:07Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm so hot, I'm tired.
- 55:10Speaker 2: What do you see?
- 55:11Speaker 1: If you can't, it doesn't matter, I mean, yeah, it
- 55:15Speaker 1: doesn't matter.
- 55:16Speaker 2: It doesn't matter, but it looks like it.
- 55:17Speaker 1: An Indiana football fan had a if you saw the
- 55:21Speaker 1: video you know I'm talking about had a brutal knee
- 55:24Speaker 1: injury before.
- 55:24Speaker 2: It's a hundred thousand dollars kick. Did you gotta see it?
- 55:26Speaker 1: You know that read? You see it?
- 55:28Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 55:28Speaker 1: You're not, You're not on your head? Yes?
- 55:29Speaker 2: Yeah, what did you see?
- 55:30Speaker 1: I saw the one? Dude he went for the practice kick, right,
- 55:33Speaker 1: that's exactly it and tours and just absolutely just folded.
- 55:36Speaker 2: Wait the game day kick? Yes, oh no, it is.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I felt so bad for him. One hundred thousand dollars kick.
- 55:43Speaker 1: An Indiana University football fan ruined his chances of winning
- 55:46Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars He tour his aco warming up
- 55:48Speaker 1: on the college game date Saturday morning. Kick doesn't say
- 55:51Speaker 1: how long that kick is? Thirty three yards? Okay, every
- 55:54Speaker 1: time I watch on them, that's what it is. I
- 55:56Speaker 1: think you can. You can see me on that one too.
- 55:59Speaker 1: Check chat. But he tore it and he went down hard.
- 56:03Speaker 2: And't he's nasty man. Yeah, thirty three it is.

- 57:35Speaker 2: Duty came out.
- 57:35Speaker 1: So I played a little bit of called dad.
- 57:36Speaker 2: That's what you were doing. Yeah, it's playing some call
- 57:39Speaker 2: off that.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:40Speaker 2: I love Call of Duty. Man, you gotta get off.
- 57:43Speaker 1: You want to talk about being competitive, You're an adult man.
- 57:45Speaker 1: You play CWA football with us.
- 57:48Speaker 2: I am playing that too, though.
- 57:49Speaker 3: You are?
- 57:50Speaker 2: You suck though? I know that's why it's not fun.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Sometimes you said that there's no dog in Read. It's
- 57:56Speaker 1: because you haven't know he had. He hasn't Read has
- 57:58Speaker 1: no dogs. He Call of Duty is a different thing.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Man has no dog like Reid has a really loving
- 58:05Speaker 1: kitty cat in there. Oh what but he has no dog?
- 58:07Speaker 1: And I can get to that in a second. We
- 58:09Speaker 1: had to break one more time? Or no? Yeah, all right,
- 58:11Speaker 1: break all right. Two things I want to mention. Number
- 58:16Speaker 1: one Eddie's mom Oh oh, back off, hey, man, hey
- 58:22Speaker 1: too soon? Not getting on her? Is she worried about you?
- 58:28Speaker 1: She is worried about it. She's a little concerned about me, but.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Has she seen you?
- 58:32Speaker 1: Oh, she's seen me, does she see anything different?
- 58:35Speaker 4: So she's been with us, living at the house for
- 58:37Speaker 4: about three weeks and we, you know, we go work out, which.
- 58:42Speaker 1: By the way, Eddi's dad died sadly, his mom is
- 58:44Speaker 1: staying with him for a while now. Yeah, yes, that's
- 58:46Speaker 1: why I was like, too soon, man, leave my mom alone.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Was heading on him, bringing up a story.
- 58:52Speaker 4: But my mom was like, like, son, you know like you.
- 58:55Speaker 4: She calls me micho, mikhol You've been like you around
- 59:00Speaker 4: like you're hurting all day. And I'm like, oh, Mom,
- 59:02Speaker 4: I'm just I'm just sore, sore from what she's like.
- 59:05Speaker 4: I was like working out like me and Bobby we
- 59:07Speaker 4: work out, like serious workout stuff. I'm just sore of it.
- 59:09Speaker 4: And she's like, that's not good for you. So we
- 59:12Speaker 4: weren't raised this way. Like I wasn't raised to work out.
- 59:16Speaker 4: I was raised to eat rice and beans, tacos with
- 59:20Speaker 4: a large coke.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Interesting perspective, Brits. I like where you're going though, I
- 59:24Speaker 1: did not think you were going to go here. We
- 59:25Speaker 1: didn't work out, got it, and so we were never
- 59:28Speaker 1: sore so my mom now is like this whole thing
- 59:32Speaker 1: that you're doing, going to work out with Bobby coming back.
- 59:34Speaker 1: You can't even walk up the stairs without grunting every step.
- 59:36Speaker 1: It's not good for you. Well also shouldn't be every
- 59:38Speaker 1: step grunting. But I will say where Eddie has started
- 59:43Speaker 1: to get it, because I would say there was a
- 59:44Speaker 1: time where Eddie had no dog in him. Eddie has
- 59:46Speaker 1: developed a dog. Yeah, Eddiewhere, Eddie works out hard. Eddie
- 59:50Speaker 1: doesn't make a whole lot of excuses when working out.
- 59:54Speaker 4: Well, buzz Like I say I'm going to be there,
- 59:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna go one hundred percent while I'm there, you
- 59:58Speaker 4: know what I mean. I'm not going to go there
- 59:59Speaker 4: and make excuses like undercook salmon.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Or that I've made two excuses.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: No, you make a lot though. We'll get back to read.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: But Eddie also the most fun guy to be around.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: He's extremely pleasant, Like people love to be around Eddie.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: But no, but when the dog comes out, but with
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: that comes a lot of like just a you know, yeah,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Eddie's type personality often isn't type A when it comes
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: to things like going hard or work like dedicating himself
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and having like drive, well, I am more of a
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: like it is what it is, kind of like go.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: This is a personality.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I'm not saying he's lazy. It is his personality trait, right, Yeah,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: but some of that is I've watched it developed differently
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: in him where he does have a bit of a dog.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: He a Pomeranian. MS still a dog, little dog, little dog,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: but I think Pomerania can eat and grow and it
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: has been. And you look strong, your shoulders are strong.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: He's like some of the stuff he does. He does
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the same weight as me, which he used to not
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: by far. I'm about ten pounds off you. No, but
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: sometimes it's no, I don't I want you to give
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the Sometimes you do the same as me. Not all
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: the time, but no, but no, I don't even want
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you to downplay it. You've gotten so much stronger and
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: it's awesome to see. Thank you. And he's got the
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: dog in him a little bit. Even he came to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: play pickaball the other day. He's got a little bit
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: of dog in him. Were read, dude, it's a ferret.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Itn't even a cat. Wow. But you are so loving
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: and you care so much and you're very sensitive. You
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: had but your strengths are also your weaknesses are also
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: your strengths. Someone that meets you would be like, I
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: love read, I love you. Thanks. You are the best
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: to be around. You are so kind. You have no
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: dog in you though. Yeah, dog though, can actually make
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: you a bad person sometimes, like me, I turn it
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: into a bad person sometimes because I just want to
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: kill you. Not you in general, but anybody ever. Sod
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: does no dog. Eddie has dog, and I'm little bit
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I'm glad that Eddie, though, phrased it like oh, she
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: doesn't understand what'sorking out instead of like maybe I'm working
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: too hard because that's not where he went.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: She really just doesn't understand that life, Like why would
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: you go voluntarily to someone's house and work out and
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: it's going to make you feel like that. I'm like,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: you know, mom, but look at this. No I call
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: no o ken, I call her mom? Yeah racist, Yeah,
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: I call her. Eddie's like, yeah, she calls me miho.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: Then Kevin's like, I said, no, I can't believe you.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: So that's good.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Hey, how about our game though? How much fun was that? Okay?
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I like to say a couple of things, so I
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: have just stand the show, we will do new pickleball ratings.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Based on Oh no, no way, wait, okay, listen.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Based on and Ross came over yesterday and probably played
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: some one on ones. I give Ross. No, I don't
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: give anybody lessons but Ross, because I'm not good enough
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: to give lessons. But Ross is like, hey, what do
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you do here? What do you do here? And so
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I showed him exactly how to beat me, and we
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: played like nine games.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: He did beat me one games.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Ross Kauperman, he got forty number ones songwriter. Okay, I
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: don't think he did beat me, great guy, he did
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: beat me.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: He beat you yesterday.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Uh yeah, like the first five points or so is
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: kind of but then he did. I'm gonna say he
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: did beat me. But my whole goal was I was
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: trying to show him how to beat me so he
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: could beat you guys. Okay, So it was one of
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: those that's tough because you showed him how to beat
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: But then the next two games that beat him eleven
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: oh eleven to one eleven. Oh oh okay, but he did.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: If it were actually on the scoreboard, he would have against.
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he for sure would.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: So how many peoples in the league here oh no,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: you're did you play pickleball?
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: I never played, said I played tennis. Yeah, well, if
- 1:04:03Speaker 4: you're a tennis player, you can probably play Eddie. Shut up,
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: shut up, CAZy. You can come over as a point
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: and get in. But right now you didn't cut it.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Mustard number number one, Bobby, Number one is me. Now.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I don't think I'll be number one forever. I've had
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: a pretty good run right now.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: I'm feeling pretty good with my game. That's fair.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I mean, I I don't mine is all ball placement.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: It is not knocking the ball pass people. It is
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: not power game. It is ball placement and getting to
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the ball.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: You have ball placement precision though, yeah, most of the
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: time it's pretty impressive.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Kevin, how what would you say about my game?
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: I would say, yeah, the ball placement's number one. You
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: know how to make whether it's me, George Reid, Eddie
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: run from side to side, and it seems like you're
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: back there just chilling like, oh here, I'll send him
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: over here. I'll send him over here. And that's hard.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Number one one me number two George George Burr's country star,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: although I had beat him. We play sevens if we're
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: all there. I did beat him seven zero seven, seven
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: to seven zeros.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: When I beat him.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Oh, he's an athlete. But George is really good. And
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: George at any point he's gonna be able to beat
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: me occasionally. Yeah, he's really good. Yeah, George has a
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: better player than I am. I just having to outstrategize
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: him because he's a better player.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Than I am.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Yeah, naturally, Yes, he played tennis. He was number one
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: tennis player back in the day. So George is at two.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: This is where it starts to get tricky because it's
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: seven is red. Oh we're jumping down to seven. I
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: have to because he's the worst. He has no dog
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: in him, not even cat. You said, ferret, I think
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you said. He's got fair much scret goldfish. You barely
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: got a goal to punch me in the face.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: No, because it's all internal reading. Yes, because we love you.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: He's got goldfish, fish goldfish. This is what I want
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to say about Reid. As soon as he gets a
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: little bit tired, he gives up. Yeah he does. Where
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: if I get tired, dude's turn my head around over
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: the top, Like I feel like I can grind people
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: out if I'm tired I know you're as tired or
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: more because I'm a better shape than you. This is anybody,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: it's I feel in my head and it doesn't matter.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I have an edge on you and I'm going to
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: grind you to the ground. So read your at seven.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: All right, he just took it like a gold fish.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: I don't even know if we have seven players in
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the league.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: I was going to say that thought we had like five.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Well we have five, and I'm still back there. Number
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: six is question mark. Oh my god, did Riada seven? Okay?
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Number three in the league is Ross? Oh? Oh, because
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: he just beat you? Yeah, no, no, honestly, I'm just
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: being honest that he has a win under the belt.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: I could have crushed him.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: I mean, but he did beat you, so yeah, so
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: he No, no, none of that. I think he's better
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: than everybody. He has a bit of a tennis background,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: He's a good athlete, he plays smart. I'm putting Ross
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: at three. Now we have Kevin and Eddie. This is huge.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: We can even put Kluge in this because Clue plays sure.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: Now his rank's been dropped a little bit because he's injured. Yeah,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna put Cluge at six. Okay, because he's injured. Yes,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: because if Klug weren't at six, I may put him
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: at three. So where it comes to is four and five.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: And now I've played a couple of times, and so
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Eddie and I played George and Ross and doubles, which
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: was tough. So it was me and Bones and like, man,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the pressure beyond Bones' team. No pressure. I'm not hard
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: against you against you, no, No, the pressure comes from
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: you win, like you're number one. But am I supportive
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: as a teammate, Very okay?
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: But you are ranked number one. You are clearly the
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: best player out of all of us. So if we
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: lose automatically, it's on me and that that's a lot
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: of pressure. Not always accurate, but I can understand. It's
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: me though, understand logic. So we lost the first one
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: they beat, it's pretty bad. Then they may have beat
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: us twice before the last game, because I think we
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: played like a fun game, just for fun, but they
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: still won.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Then they won one. Then we played the last one
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: and we beat them, and it was it was good.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: I mean, we handled them, really, it was awesome.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: We handled them.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: It was awesome so much so that Eddie text Thic
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: three hours later and goes, I can't stop thinking about
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: that win.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: I mean, I'm still he lost twice, but you want
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: it doesn't matter.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, but that's my first win though, just making
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: sure that's my first win on the court.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: And that first game, Yeah, I think Kevin, I've only
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: played four times?
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Was Kevin? Three times?
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Have you won? Oh?
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Well, the first time I played, we didn't lose.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't lose it all like five. Kevin and
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I just whooped everybody. Yeah.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: The first game though, the Eddie and I played against
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: him was mostly just to exhibition to eleven, just to
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: get everybody lose, so we probably went one on one.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: So the first whatever at four mm hmm. And I
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: had to think about this a little bit at four
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: and there's a pretty decent separator between the two at
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: four and say that changes everything for at.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Four no offense, I think you're big separator.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I think you're climbing. I think you're climbing. I think
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: you're getting better. Kevin naturally is a better athlete than
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: even myself. He's a now he's a college ballplayer, better athlete.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Where was that humbold State never heard of it? Is
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: that really Alex Kappa plays for the Bengals, and.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to think maybe he won't humble.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: State Humboldt State, the capital of America.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: He moves like like an athlete. And what Kevin does
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: is he keeps the freaking thing in play all the
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: time and makes you mess up. Let's go keV.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: Thanks, Thanks.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: The only thing that sets in.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: He's gonna he's coming for that.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Five squat World Pickleball ratings is of right now. World
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: media at my house, Bobby, George, Ross, Kevin and Kevin
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: and Ross. Need you have a chance to take up
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: over three?
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Let me know when Ross is coming back.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Eddie Klug and Reid and Eddie made a jump. I
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: would say Eddie made a jump. Eddie got a lot
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: better this last time they have played.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: Nice clue isn't gonna like that list. He's hurt, but
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: he's hurt. He's got he's got to understand what's hurt
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: on him.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: His knee. He played college football.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Everything hurts. I feel that.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: But but him and I used to play singles and
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: then he reheard himself and he was he's quick when
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: he's healthy, he's he moved, he moves fast. I believe that.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: Did he play safety?
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Now linebacker? Okay, do you have a question.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Do you have a belt?
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Now? Yeah, championship belt, says bones Court.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Have you always had that?
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I only brought it out once. Start to get a
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: little competitive.
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: I saw that the other day and I had fomo.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well there's no fomo. Go win it.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Get there. He had to go on a trip.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: That my mom was in town.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I will not have me. I want to have on
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: the Sorry, Okay, that's what's up. NFL wise, real quick,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: we'll do a one minute recap, although I don't really
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: feel like anything happened that we didn't mention already. Uh,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Eagles beat the Bengals. But Eagle look pretty good. So
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: there are now something in the nfcast you can if
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: you disagree with the nsay, saw me? Uh that Ravens
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Browns again we talked about Ravens. Oh yeah, I mean,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: let's go Jame. It's not even about raising the battle fans.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: That's what the headline is.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Jamis is awesome Lions. The Titans don't even have a team.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: They're bad.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: I think they just pulled like the kid the high
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: school kids from here to play earlier in Nashville.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: It's funny, was like fourteen fourteen order tight?
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Yeah what? And then Boom didn't even turn it on,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: so I didn't know that. All I saw was the
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: score because I'm like, I'm not watching this. I don't
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: like to watch, like when in a movie when someone
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: like cuts an arm off or it gets the bloody,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: so the same thing I thought that game was going
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: to be. I don't want to watch that crap.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: The Cardinals beat the Dolphins on I watched it on
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: a game winning field goal to have played pretty.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Good, yeah to a play. They started off good and
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: then just kind of.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Too for a guy that has nineteen concussions. This week,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I thought, I think two will make the difference though
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: in them actually winning some games. I think they do
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: have a chance to make the playoffs. M what's the
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: record now?
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: And five six?
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Maybe I don't, but I still think I do. I
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: realize they've only won two. I think with Tua back,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: they I think they're gonna win more than they're gonna lose.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: But I didn't realize if they're two and six, it's
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: gonna be They played Patriots a couple of times, No
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I know, play the Jets.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: They already beat the Patriot it's the one and they
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: can play them again.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Okay, that tough Patriots Jets. Haha, sorry, Casey, not for you.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: That was not for you, Casey. You might as well
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: root for a good draft pick at this point.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: Yeah, but you know what's gonna happen is they're gonna
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: win somehow, win this Houston game or whatever.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's okay, let's not kid ourselves. No, they're not well.
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: I mean, what's his name went out? Digs that's your tank,
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: Dell and Stroud. So but when isn't it about time though?
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: For uh oh, come off the I R.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Is he coming back soon? I was in shore weeks
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and it should be about four weeks. I'm not sure
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: when he's coming back, but about four weeks. Uh. Falcons
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: and Bucks Begger had a good day. Falcons win that.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: That's a that's a fun old division there. Packers beat Jaguars.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: You know, Jaguars were in that game, Like I kept,
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I watched that. I watched a lot of that. They
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: were in that game that they kicked fogal right, Packers
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: with the guy who was kicked off the other team last.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: Year right, yeah, McManus.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: Yeah, because like he got likes kicked off the team
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: and hmm okay, well Jordan Love was out for a
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: little bit.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Yeah he got hurt. Christian Kirk got hurt too.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: But Titans guy, Yes, first a touchdown, didn't he played awesome? Yeah, okay,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: cool Texans beat the Colts.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: Anthony Richardson he tapped out. He was tired, that's all
- 1:13:55Speaker 4: he said in the press conference. I get that he's
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: like around, like I was running around a lot a
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: third quarter. I had to I had to step one out.
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: He's twenty two years old.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I don't think he was being honest. Okay, yeah, I
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: saw the play because it looked like his leg. I
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: don't know if you saw the play. Yeah, he would
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: whatever it was. It kind of something happened. Yeah, And
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I don't think he wants to say he was injured again. Yeah,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: because he said I'm tired, and this is all. Yes,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: this is this is what Aaron Rodgers should do in
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: a way, like whatever the reality is, make it so
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: the big thing doesn't become the big thing where it's
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: like if he's injured again, that's all he's gonna say.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Like Duke can't stay healthy. Instad He'll probably just take
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: the lumps for being tired, for being twenty two, and
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: that goes away in a week. So I don't know
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: that that's true. But when he went down his leg
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: got stretched out like that. I was like, oh God.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: And then he tapped and then but he came back.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: He did charges beat the Saints. I have no idea
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: who the charges are. I have no idea the charges are.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: And who was the quarterback of the Saints, Spencer Ratler.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I have no idea the charges are.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: And then they did bring in Ayner Rayner from came
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: Brown Aunt.
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: Came Brown Bill b the Seahawks champs, Cook cut a
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: heck of a day.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: Broncos beat the Panthers, boat next three touchdowns. Panthers suck.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Even Sean Payton's press commerce after it, he was like, uh, yeah,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: we're progaming, We're gonna play better offenses. Your boy Bryce
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: came back though, he did, and you know, he had
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: like two fifty or something touchdowns, a couple of touchdown,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: a couple of interceptions. But he did right, didn't he
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: have like two and two to interceptions?
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: I know, yeah, interceptions.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I could be wrong on the Chiefs beat the Raiders.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Raiders had chances, Chiefs still undefeated. H Kermit wins, Hermit
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: we warm.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: But that was the whole game.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Remember the Raiders preseason were like Patrick Mahomes is Kerman
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: the kermodal.
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: Who said the Raiders like troll them online or something,
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: and there were people dressed in the stands as Kermit.
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, don't don't don't troll Mahomes. Here's what
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: I say about my home. But I like about Mahomes.
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: He's only being the quarterback.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: He has to be right. He's not playing ego quarterback
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: because if it were me, I would still be like
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: trick plays chunk and balls trying to He's not. He's
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: just being the quarterback he needs to be. With that
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: great defense, it's pretty cool to see him play quarterback
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: that's selfless when he's the best.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Does this remind I know it's a Chief So they've
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: won a couple of Super Bowls back to back. But
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: remember the Eagles last year they were underfeeded and you're like,
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: how are they still unefeeded?
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I don't feel that way about the Chiefs still because
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: they've won too. They've won multiple two in a row
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: of multiple Super Bowls, So I felt about Minnesota. Yeah, okay,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: maybe that's more terrible than the Steelers when the Steelers
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: did it last year.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's just like waiting for the train to
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: fall two years ago.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Whenever ste did two years ago. Uh. And then the
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: commanders and bars, which was crazy, that's awesome, hilarious. You know,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I read like eighteen people I think McAfee said it.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Then eighteen people try to steal it where it was
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: like that guy's gonna have a rough day in the
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: film room tomorrow. And then you saw everybody thinking they
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: were right, they were just right that and think they'd
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: get a bunch of thumbs ups on it. All right,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: that's it, Thank you, Thanks to Brandon Marcello. And on
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: the show later on this week, we will have Notre Dame.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: We finally got him, mister Notre Dame. Do you know
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: his name? Yeah, go ahead, pull up the graphic.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Don't pull up the graphic. Who's the Notre Dame head coat?
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Changed the Who's head coat?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Marcus Freeman, he created the graphic. Well you but you
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: have it though, you just said Marcus Freeman. There you
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: guys have a great day. We will well, well, well,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: now going on the bear story that next day. Now,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I don't want to do that, because we screwed you
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: guys on the Oregon a couple of times. So my
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: in laws came to town for one Night's perfect. I
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: swear to God this is all true. I have the
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: video to prove it. There's no exaggeration. Sometimes on these
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: shows we have to turn ourselves up to eleven, even
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: though we feel that way. We got to be a
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: little over the top because it's not interesting. Otherwise I'm
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: not doing that. No hyperbole. My in laws came to
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: town for one night because they were driving through the mountains,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: the old Smoky Mountains. Heard the right. They go to
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: the Smoky Mountains and they get there and they send
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: us a video they were They opened their door to
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: take their bags to go inside the cabin, and then
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: somebody starts to go, oh my god, oh my god,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: and the doors open. They start recording with their phone.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Three bears got in their car. Three boneset bears.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: No, not little, not pigs. Have they huffed in their car?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: No, I Am not kidding.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: The first bear comes out and it's a tiny bear.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: The second bear comes out, it's like a middle bear.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: Third bear is huge. Oh my goodness. The bears as
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: soon as the carters open they get in there. They
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: ate like two granola bars, a bunch of cough drops
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: their slobber everywhere in the car. I have the video.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. You know, they're lucky because usually those bears
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: just they said they left their doors open and take
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: their bags into the house. They were not from five minutes.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Those bears are like waiting three bears into sub wild.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: There's your bear story. Thank you man. That's that's worth it.
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: That was awesome.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: I can show the video too.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: All right, there you go. Blow to the wessel, addie.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Oh, here we go.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: If you heard that drip, drip drip during the show,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: that's a sweatitt in the microphone so hot because it's
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: so freaking hot in here. But you know what we suffer.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: We persevere.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: We did this. Is it Give us an Emmy or
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: a Grammy whatever, golden globe or a heisman, fricking heisman.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: That's what we want.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: We'll see you guys next.
