• 0:00
Speaker 1: It's the Save America Act, and the Democrats are against it.
• 0:06
Speaker 2: Three very simple points.
• 0:07
Speaker 1: It's got voter ID, photo ID, but voter ID, the
• 0:11
Speaker 1: confirmation of US citizenship. You have to be a citizen,
• 0:15
Speaker 1: and then you have no mail in ballots with the
• 0:18
Speaker 1: exception of disability, illness, military, or if you're traveling, you
• 0:24
Speaker 1: can get an exemption, and that will assure the security
• 0:28
Speaker 1: of our crooked elections.
• 0:29
Speaker 2: We have crooked elections.
• 0:30
Speaker 3: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
• 0:33
  Speaker 3: Ben ferguson.
• 0:34
Speaker 4: Good Friday morning, it's so nice to have you with
• 0:36
Speaker 4: us in the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got
• 0:39
  Speaker 4: a very.
• 0:39
Speaker 5: Big story for you.
• 0:41
Speaker 4: Accountability finally coming to those look the other way with
• 0:45
Speaker 4: the massive fraud happening in Minnesota.
• 0:47
  Speaker 5: This time Minnesota's a g.
• 0:50
Speaker 4: Keith Ellison is forced to come before Congress and answer
• 0:54
Speaker 4: questions about his ties to the Somali fraudsters. And it
• 0:58
Speaker 4: went about as well as you can imagine, Josh Holly,
• 1:02
Speaker 4: the Senator from Missouri, making it very clear he wasn't
• 1:05
Speaker 4: letting him get away with anything. It's the forty seven
• 1:08
Speaker 4: Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 1:11
Speaker 5: Story number one, accountability.
• 1:14
Speaker 4: It is what Donald Trump promised all Americans for those
• 1:17
Speaker 4: that have been breaking the law. Waste, fraud and abuse
• 1:20
Speaker 4: were a part of the doctrine. We were going to
• 1:22
Speaker 4: get rid of it and figure out exactly who was
• 1:25
Speaker 4: involved in it. Well, then we had what happened in Minnesota,
• 1:29
Speaker 4: a massive explosion of an expose on the fraud that
• 1:34
Speaker 4: is costing taxpayers billions of dollars. We also found out
• 1:38
Speaker 4: much of that money was actually going to terrorist groups
• 1:41
Speaker 4: like al Shabab. And then there's those that were behind
• 1:45
Speaker 4: it or actually protecting the fraudsters. Josh Holly and many
• 1:50
Speaker 4: in the Senate, they got a chance to talk to
• 1:53
Speaker 4: Minnesota's Attorney General, Keith Ellison, over his ties to many
• 1:59
Speaker 4: of those small fraudsters. How to be clear, the attorney
• 2:02
Speaker 4: general is the one that's supposed to be going after
• 2:04
Speaker 4: the criminal's not hanging out with them, doing deals with them,
• 2:08
Speaker 4: or looking the other way. And now Senator Holly is
• 2:11
Speaker 4: calling for the indictment of the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison,
• 2:15
Speaker 4: over accusations that he accepted campaign contributions from the Somali
• 2:22
Speaker 4: fraudsters for helping them evade investigation by state and federal
• 2:29
Speaker 4: officials during the Senate Homeland Security hearing on Thursday, Holly
• 2:35
Speaker 4: grilled Ellison about a report from The New York Post
• 2:38
Speaker 4: published last year that is now accused the top Minnesota
• 2:42
Speaker 4: official of taking campaign contributions from Somali's involved in Defeeding
• 2:49
Speaker 4: our Future fraud scandal. That scandal is where some nine
• 2:54
Speaker 4: billion dollars in taxpayer money was stolen under the guy
• 3:00
Speaker 4: of feeding needy children. That's right, They weren't doing it
• 3:04
Speaker 4: at all. According to the report, Ellison accepted several two thousand,
• 3:11
Speaker 4: five hundred dollars campaign donations from Somali fraudsters after they
• 3:16
Speaker 4: raised concerns that federal investigators were unjustly looking at their financials.
• 3:23
Speaker 4: I want you to listen to part one center Holly
• 3:27
Speaker 4: questioning and laying out the facts with the receipts of
• 3:31
Speaker 4: exactly what Ellison was doing.
• 3:33
  Speaker 6: Try another question.
• 3:34
Speaker 7: You familiar with the nine billion dollars in historic fraud
• 3:37
Speaker 7: out of your state, including the two hundred and fifty
• 3:40
Speaker 7: million dollars in the Feeding our Future program? Alone you
• 3:43
Speaker 7: familiar with that? Don't turn to the pages in your
• 3:45
Speaker 7: book to get your potted answers. Are you familiar with it?
• 3:47
Speaker 2: Yes or no? Yes? I am familiar with.
• 3:49
Speaker 7: Very familiar, aren't you, Because the people who ran the
• 3:52
Speaker 7: Feeding Our Futures program came to you and your official
• 3:55
Speaker 7: office in the state capitol of December eleventh to twenty
• 3:57
Speaker 7: twenty one and asked for your in getting investigators off
• 4:02
Speaker 7: their backs. They complain to you for upwards of an
• 4:05
Speaker 7: hour about state investigators going after them, and they begged
• 4:09
Speaker 7: you to help them, and you agreed to it amazingly,
• 4:13
Speaker 7: And we know you did.
• 4:14
Speaker 6: That's because it's all caught on tape.
• 4:17
Speaker 7: Every single sentence is caught on tape. Here's what you said.
• 4:19
Speaker 7: Let's take it on. You said sid a question. You
• 4:22
Speaker 7: said to them, send me the names of all these
• 4:25
Speaker 7: folks who are investigating them. You said, to them, send
• 4:28
Speaker 7: me their names and I'll take that list and I'll
• 4:31
Speaker 7: call the person over at Education who was investigating them
• 4:34
Speaker 7: and say what's going on? Why am I getting these complaints?
• 4:38
Speaker 7: Then he went on to say, I already have my
• 4:40
Speaker 7: team working on this. What day should we get together
• 4:44
Speaker 7: to discuss it again? You made pledge after pledge to them.
• 4:49
Speaker 7: You said, we've got to make sure this guy who's
• 4:51
Speaker 7: investigating them stops it. You said, you have my attention
• 4:54
Speaker 7: I'm concerned about this. You said, let's go fight these people,
• 4:59
Speaker 7: meaning the people who are investigating the fraud.
• 5:02
Speaker 6: Why'd you do it? Why did you help them?
• 5:04
Speaker 2: Are you gonna let me answer?
• 5:05
Speaker 6: Please? We're all here, So first of.
• 5:07
Speaker 2: All, you're cherry picking colts out of there?
• 5:10
Speaker 6: Why did you help me?
• 5:11
Speaker 2: I thought you were going to let me answer? Why
• 5:12
Speaker 2: did you let me answer?
• 5:14
Speaker 6: Why did you help you?
• 5:14
Speaker 2: Let me answer, and I'll answer.
• 5:15
Speaker 6: You tell the truth, and I'll let you answer.
• 5:17
Speaker 2: I will tell the truth.
• 5:18
  Speaker 6: It'd be a nice change.
• 5:19
Speaker 2: So that now, see, mister.
• 5:21
Speaker 8: Chairman, I didn't come here to be insulted.
• 5:23
Speaker 2: I came here value.
• 5:24
Speaker 6: You came here for the truth. Let's have it. Why
• 5:26
Speaker 6: did you help? Are here?
• 5:28
Speaker 7: They're in black and white and everything, this audience and
• 5:30
Speaker 7: the chair. Listen to the recording.
• 5:32
Speaker 6: It's fifty four minutes long.
• 5:34
Speaker 7: It's all in public that you can google it right
• 5:37
Speaker 7: now and listen to it and listen to to help them?
• 5:39
Speaker 2: First of all, I didn't help them, you did, no,
• 5:41
  Speaker 2: I did not. I certainly didn't.
• 5:43
Speaker 6: You're saying you didn't do anything for them? You didn't,
• 5:46
  Speaker 6: you didn't.
• 5:47
Speaker 7: Well, wait a minute, I already have my team working
• 5:48
Speaker 7: on this again, that's not you.
• 5:49
Speaker 2: I have I've been with my team.
• 5:52
Speaker 8: My team assisted with the information that led to the
• 5:56
Speaker 8: prosecution and conviction of.
• 5:58
Speaker 7: These figure it prosecute him. No, you did not, because
• 6:03
Speaker 7: you had obs. You have whistleblowers. Listen, my time doesn't
• 6:10
Speaker 7: know what you're talking about.
• 6:11
Speaker 6: You now, why did you take your money?
• 6:15
Speaker 4: You notice there Holly really honing in on following the money.
• 6:20
Speaker 4: He also talked about you know, you're familiar with the
• 6:23
Speaker 4: nine billion in a historic fraud out of your state,
• 6:27
Speaker 4: including the two hundred and fifty million in the Feeding
• 6:29
Speaker 4: Our Future program alone. That's when Holly asked Ellison, to
• 6:33
Speaker 4: which he responded, I'm familiar with it because the people
• 6:37
Speaker 4: who ran the Feeding Our Future program came to you
• 6:40
Speaker 4: in your office in the state capitol December eleventh, twenty
• 6:44
Speaker 4: twenty one, and asked for your help and getting investigators
• 6:49
Speaker 4: off their backs. Holly wasn't done talking about the money
• 6:54
Speaker 4: and connecting the trail.
• 6:55
Speaker 5: Take a listen, why.
• 6:57
Speaker 6: Did you take your money? Why did you take their money?
• 7:00
  Speaker 2: I didn't.
• 7:01
Speaker 6: You took ten to false thousand dollars. That's a false
• 7:04
  Speaker 6: ten thousand dollars.
• 7:07
Speaker 7: Nine days after the meeting, false ste you took ten
• 7:10
Speaker 7: thousand dollars. Here's what happened. They went to your office.
• 7:13
Speaker 7: They solicited money for you from you. They came to
• 7:17
Speaker 7: your office, it was your official office. You laid with
• 7:20
Speaker 7: them for fifty four minutes. They asked you for help.
• 7:23
Speaker 7: You pledged it to them, and they talked repeatedly about money.
• 7:26
Speaker 7: In fact, it's all they talked. That's a lot of money, money, money, money.
• 7:30
Speaker 7: They said, we will put our dollars in the right place.
• 7:33
Speaker 7: We will support candidates that will fight to protect our interests.
• 7:36
Speaker 7: You replied, that's right. They said that you are securing
• 7:39
Speaker 7: your donor base and securing your power base. You can
• 7:42
Speaker 7: act the way you want. You replied, money is freedom.
• 7:45
Speaker 7: They said, the amount of money circulate I'm reading the transcript.
• 7:48
Speaker 7: The amount of money you're relating in our community today
• 7:51
Speaker 7: is powerful and we haven't realizing it in a meaningful way.
• 7:54
Speaker 7: And you said, give me the specifics. And nine days
• 7:58
Speaker 7: later you took ten thousand dollars from people who were
• 8:02
  Speaker 7: then indicted.
• 8:03
Speaker 6: It's in your reports. Why did you do it, sir?
• 8:05
Speaker 6: This was it worth it?
• 8:07
Speaker 2: You know what? This is a theatrical ten thousand.
• 8:10
Speaker 6: This is the truth. It has a building it looks
• 8:12
Speaker 6: like of which you've.
• 8:13
Speaker 7: Had not You helped fraudsters defraud your sky and this
• 8:17
Speaker 7: government of nine million dollars and you got that campaign
• 8:21
Speaker 7: contribution out of it.
• 8:22
Speaker 6: You ought to be indicted. True, Well, that's the truth.
• 8:25
Speaker 5: I think we've made the point.
• 8:26
Speaker 2: Let's keep the ten. Well, just for the record, I'll
• 8:28
Speaker 2: ask how who's lying? And that's and that's the truth.
• 8:32
Speaker 6: Oh no, this is all on the road. So did
• 8:34
  Speaker 6: you bother? O?
• 8:35
Speaker 7: Did you bother to investigate where the money that you
• 8:37
Speaker 7: facilitated their fraud for where it went?
• 8:40
Speaker 6: Do you know where it went, what it was used for?
• 8:41
  Speaker 6: The fraudulent money?
• 8:43
Speaker 7: I do, because we just heard testimony about it yesterday.
• 8:45
Speaker 7: Because we run with peers in these hundreds of millions
• 8:49
Speaker 7: of dollars to terrorists, to transnational criminal organizations, to the
• 8:53
Speaker 7: drug trade, to drug trafficking, to child trafficking.
• 8:57
Speaker 6: And you took ten thousand dollars.
• 8:59
Speaker 2: That's a lot and help them do it.
• 9:01
  Speaker 6: You know.
• 9:01
Speaker 7: The other thing is whistle blowers came to you as
• 9:03
Speaker 7: early as twenty nineteen. Let's look as early as twenty nineteen.
• 9:08
Speaker 7: Whistle blood, don't talk over me as early as nineteen.
• 9:11
Speaker 6: It's my hearing pal as early as twenty nineteen, don't come.
• 9:16
Speaker 7: Whistle blowers came to Well, I should call you prisoner
• 9:18
Speaker 7: because you ought to be in jail.
• 9:19
Speaker 2: Well see what you get.
• 9:20
Speaker 7: In twenty nineteen, whistle blowers came to you in your
• 9:24
Speaker 7: office and referred to you fraud allegations from feeding our Futures,
• 9:28
Speaker 7: and you blow them off. Listen to your own state newspapers.
• 9:30
Speaker 7: At the Minnesota Star Tribune. The Partners and Nutrition brought
• 9:34
Speaker 7: its concerns to the Attorney General's office in twenty eighteen
• 9:37
Speaker 7: and in twenty nineteen, and you did nothing. You did
• 9:40
Speaker 7: nothing for years. The only action you took is once
• 9:43
Speaker 7: all these fraudsters came to your office and asked you
• 9:46
Speaker 7: to get involved and offered your money.
• 9:47
Speaker 6: And then you got involved. Then you talk the money,
• 9:50
Speaker 6: and then you got involved.
• 9:51
Speaker 8: They did not come to my office. You're completely wrong
• 9:54
Speaker 8: about that. You met with it in fifty twenty.
• 9:57
Speaker 7: Minutes and you took ten thousand dollars and they also
• 9:59
Speaker 7: gave your family money. They gave your family thousands of
• 10:02
Speaker 7: dollars in campaign contributions, is what they.
• 10:05
  Speaker 2: Gave false statements.
• 10:06
Speaker 8: Let's put the this is you know, this is completely
• 10:08
Speaker 8: under New York Post.
• 10:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, we know the New York Post.
• 10:11
Speaker 7: Minnesota Keith Ellison ag accepted campaign donations from individuals linked
• 10:15
Speaker 7: to the twohunor fifty million dollars COVID fraud scheme after
• 10:18
Speaker 7: they were in your office. No donations came on December twentieth. Sir,
• 10:21
Speaker 7: you met with them on December the eleventh, and on
• 10:23
Speaker 7: January twentieth, the FBI knocked over their headquarters.
• 10:26
Speaker 6: No, no, that's the sequence of events here.
• 10:29
  Speaker 2: No, it's not.
• 10:30
Speaker 6: You have been right at the center of this fraud.
• 10:32
Speaker 7: Not the sequence and and sir, the false you should resign.
• 10:37
Speaker 8: And sir, you should reside. I was thinking the same
• 10:40
  Speaker 8: thing about you.
• 10:40
  Speaker 6: Reside now.
• 10:42
Speaker 4: Of course, Ellison denied helping the fraudsters, to which Holly
• 10:46
Speaker 4: made it very clear, saying to Ellison to his face,
• 10:49
Speaker 4: you accepted ten thousand from them nine days after the meeting.
• 10:53
Speaker 4: You helped the fraudsters of fraudier's state and this government
• 10:57
Speaker 4: of nine billion dollars, and you've got a fat campaign contribution.
• 11:02
Speaker 5: Out of it. You ought to be indicted.
• 11:06
Speaker 4: No, this is all on the record, sir, Holly continued,
• 11:10
Speaker 4: did you bother to investigate weather the money that you
• 11:13
Speaker 4: facilitated their fraud for where it went, question Mark, do
• 11:18
Speaker 4: you know where it went, what it was used for?
• 11:20
Speaker 4: The fraudulent money. I do, because we just heard testimony
• 11:24
Speaker 4: about it yesterday. Hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorist groups,
• 11:29
Speaker 4: to transnational criminal organizations, to the drug trade, to drug trafficking,
• 11:36
Speaker 4: to child trafficking, and you took ten thousand dollars and
• 11:40
Speaker 4: helped them do it. Holly also told Ellison that not
• 11:44
Speaker 4: only should he resign from office, which I'm sure Ellison
• 11:48
Speaker 4: will not do, but he reminded him that as of
• 11:52
Speaker 4: last December, eighty five people have been charged in the
• 11:55
Speaker 4: Feeding our Future fraud scandal, nearly all of whom are Somalid.
• 12:00
Speaker 4: The investigation has led to sixty convictions thus far. So
• 12:05
Speaker 4: how does the Attorney General look the other way and
• 12:08
Speaker 4: act like it never happened. Well, it's pretty easy when
• 12:11
Speaker 4: the people that are committing the fraud are giving you
• 12:14
Speaker 4: campaign contributions. And this is exactly why the President of
• 12:18
Speaker 4: the United States of America, Donald Trump, said multiple times
• 12:22
Speaker 4: in the last week that the resources of the federal
• 12:26
Speaker 4: government are all in to go after anyone is involved
• 12:30
Speaker 4: in defrauding the American taxpayer.
• 12:32
Speaker 5: And sending that money to terrorist.
