  Speaker 1: just in general. And Saturday, you know, Auburn versus Bama,

  Speaker 1: Saint John's, Marquette, Michigan State, Michigan on Sunday. We got

  Speaker 1: a lot of games. We got Florida a Bama. We've

  Speaker 1: been talking about Obama for a while for obvious reasons,

  Speaker 1: but one of the reasons is because they're scheduled to

  Speaker 1: close and they have Bama has Florida in Auburn this week,

  Speaker 2: teams making tournaments year. That's not surprising at all. But

  Speaker 2: and as we do know, one thing, Chris is the

  Speaker 2: committee does their best to try to avoid teams ever
• 5:55
  Speaker 2: played each other in the first weekend who are fellow
• 5:57
  Speaker 2: conference opponents. So my question for you is is do

  Speaker 2: you think that the committity might have to maybe move
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: some move some teams around in the seeding part of
• 6:08
  Speaker 2: the of the tournament to avoid second round matchups. Like
• 6:13
  Speaker 2: I wonder if if the committee will have to maybe
• 6:17
  Speaker 2: move a seed line up on a team or go
• 6:19
  Speaker 2: down on a team, or I suppose is they are
• 6:21
  Speaker 2: enough to like maybe separate in part because if you

  Speaker 2: look at the tournament, like as of right now, the

  Speaker 2: last few we've done our podcasts, there's approximately twenty one

  Speaker 2: or twenty two teams that could be going from the
• 6:34
  Speaker 2: SEC in the Big twelve. So I guess just my

  Speaker 2: will a team maybe have to get moved up or

  Speaker 2: down the line more than they should be or shouldn't

  Speaker 2: be to avoid having to play a team in the

  Speaker 2: twelve teams the SEC make and they'll go twelve to

  Speaker 1: Big ten might get more than the Big twelve.

  Speaker 2: those three conferences, thirty to thirty three teams, which is

  Speaker 2: almost half the field could be represented by three conferences.

  Speaker 1: So we might have a postseason challenge, you know, Big

  Speaker 1: twelve against the SEC, SEC against the Big Ten, and

  Speaker 2: seed and eight seeds row they have Illinois, b Yu, Gonzaga, Creighton. Again,

  Speaker 2: probably been the hot team in the past month. Again, Zaga,

  Speaker 2: maybe they're not quite as the powerful as they used

  Speaker 2: his tournament is gonna be more wide open, more fun

  Speaker 2: enjoyed this tournament every year i've been alive, but I

  Speaker 2: but I feel that it's more wide open and we

  Speaker 2: have a stronger like bottom half of the of the

  Speaker 2: weekend than we're used to for that first opening weekend.

  Speaker 1: there's not one crazy team and then I think this

  Speaker 1: you said about the mid level, you know, being tougher

  Speaker 1: and that, I'd say that's very true. Are there any

  Speaker 1: up last week, Houston got a big win. Texas Tech

  Speaker 1: was shorthanded, no doubt, still though damn good club on

  Speaker 1: the road. They got it done. Michigan just snuck by

  Speaker 1: a scrappy Nebraska on the road, so that was kind

  Speaker 1: of interesting. Alabama just destroyed Mississippi, State one hundred and

  Speaker 1: eleven points. Man, we talked about that last week. How

  Speaker 1: you know there was a major scoring problem in college basketball.

  Speaker 1: That is no longer the case. I mean, sure you'll

  Speaker 1: have some programs that can't score much, but they're usually

  Speaker 1: like top tier defense. But so there was some other

  Speaker 1: notable stuff that happened, right, but the big one Georgia

  Speaker 1: upsetting Florida. That was huge, eighty eight to eighty three.

  Speaker 1: And start to look at Georgia and you're like, huh, man,

  Speaker 1: they got some dubs. You know, they do have some dubs,

  Speaker 1: Rutgers at home. Saint Mary's took Loyal Marrimount to the limit.

  Speaker 1: is not that bad. They're they're okay, but Saint Mary's

  Speaker 2: really is down and they beat Miami ninety seven to sixties.

  Speaker 2: like them. I do hate the school, but they've all

  Speaker 2: tested by clips and they lost, and they really haven't had.

  Speaker 2: That was one of those games where I think they

  Speaker 1: as like the ACC being down, and we've documented it

  Speaker 1: that this was actually the only game that the top

  Speaker 1: four we're gonna play was Wake four worse than Duke right,

  Speaker 1: because the last handful of weeks none of the top

  Speaker 1: four teams have had to play each other, so it's

  Speaker 1: been really or maybe three weeks, so that is actually

  Speaker 1: added fuel to that fire. But let's not act like

  Speaker 1: it's the West Coast Conference though, no shade true, because

  Speaker 1: we talk about that all the time. We always mentioned

  Speaker 1: in the whip around and all that, and we like

  Speaker 1: Saint Mary's and San Francisco is a pretty good club

  Speaker 1: and blah blah blah. But it's not like Gonzaga sweep

  Speaker 1: it up that conference every year till recently, you know

  Speaker 1: what I mean. Now, The one thing I'll say about Gonzaga,

  Speaker 1: they would challenge themselves, especially with the Big twelve in

  Speaker 1: the non conference, but then there'd be that long gap,

  Speaker 1: and that's something to say. I don't think it's the
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: same level though, or it's it's not the same level

  Speaker 1: of play of drop off in play so to speak,

  Speaker 1: and Drink obviously challenged himself too in the non conference.

  Speaker 1: So I still think it's a it's a step up,

  Speaker 1: but to an extent it is fair because sometimes it's
