- 1:10Speaker 2: her new shows on ID that we're going to talk about,
- 1:13Speaker 2: second season of Playboy Murders, also Girls Next Door, famous Playmate,
- 1:19Speaker 2: your stellar podcast that everyone loves that you guys have
- 1:22Speaker 2: been doing for a while. Thank you. I think this
- 1:24Speaker 2: is like the fourth time you've come on my show.
- 1:26Speaker 4: I think it is.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 4: It's always such a fun show to do.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I'm excited that you're coming back because you have your
- 1:33Speaker 2: second season of the Playboy Murders. Yeah. And tell us
- 1:37Speaker 2: like a little bit about how it came about and
- 1:40Speaker 2: the response and everything because it's kind of like a
- 1:42Speaker 2: new thing for you to be getting into, which I
- 1:44Speaker 2: think you're really good at.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Yeah, the production company Lion TV came to me. They
- 1:48Speaker 4: sent a deck to my agent of the shows they
- 1:50Speaker 4: wanted to cover. And when my agent first brought it
- 1:52Speaker 4: up to me, I was like, I can't do another
- 1:55Speaker 4: Playboy thing. Like, I'm up to my ears in it. Like,
- 1:57Speaker 4: I'll have nightmares. Like, I don't want to. And he goes, OK, well,
- 1:59Speaker 4: just take a look at this deck and then let
- 2:01Speaker 4: me know what you think. But when I saw the
- 2:02Speaker 4: cases they wanted to cover for season one, many of
- 2:05Speaker 4: which were cases I'd never heard of, you know, I
- 2:07Speaker 4: thought I knew everything about the history of everybody who'd
- 2:10Speaker 4: ever been involved in Playboy. But I was really intrigued
- 2:12Speaker 4: by it. And I thought this is a show I'd
- 2:14Speaker 4: actually watch. So I really wanted to be involved. And
- 2:16Speaker 4: I had a great experience. Season one. So we're back
- 2:19Speaker 4: with season two. And I'm even more excited about this season.
- 2:22Speaker 4: I'm really excited to share these stories. Some of them
- 2:24Speaker 4: involve people that I knew of or had met in
- 2:27Speaker 4: real life. Some of them are stories I hadn't heard
- 2:30Speaker 4: of before until they were brought to my attention. And
- 2:32Speaker 4: we're also covering the Dorothy Stratton case, which is a
- 2:34Speaker 4: very famous case. But we're talking to people that I
- 2:37Speaker 4: don't remember ever seeing interviewed on a documentary before, like
- 2:40Speaker 4: her roommate who lived with her.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Let's just remind people of Dorothy Stratton. I definitely was
- 2:45Speaker 2: probably the most famous tragedy, besides the tragedy in general
- 2:49Speaker 2: of Playboy, which was revealed a lot in the doc.
- 2:56Speaker 2: And I think in knowing, in watching that documentary about all,
- 3:01Speaker 2: you know, how many people they interviewed, that was so
- 3:03Speaker 2: interesting on Playboy. In reading some of these cases, which
- 3:06Speaker 2: we'll get into as talking about, it does... there is
- 3:11Speaker 2: such an element that ties Playboy to these different tragedies
- 3:17Speaker 2: and what, I don't know, like now I just feel
- 3:20Speaker 2: like we know so much more. And being that you
- 3:23Speaker 2: like lived it, you were on Girls Next Door, you
- 3:26Speaker 2: were the main girlfriend, you were with Hugh for so
- 3:29Speaker 2: many years. And I know you had some trepidation about
- 3:33Speaker 2: even being part of that big documentary.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Did you watch it? Did you watch the other women
- 3:40Speaker 2: from like 40 years back be interviewed? And how did
- 3:45Speaker 2: that affect you? Like knowing all that, which you clearly
- 3:48Speaker 2: didn't know when you walked in at– how old were
- 3:52Speaker 2: you when you first went to the party?
- 3:53Speaker 4: 21.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah. And then got involved and got sucked into that
- 3:58Speaker 2: world and got on the show.
- 3:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Was that bizarre to you, like to know that this
- 4:04Speaker 2: all existed before you stepped in and the story that
- 4:08Speaker 2: what you were sold in 2000 or whatever it was
- 4:12Speaker 2: versus what had been going on for 30, 40 years
- 4:16Speaker 2: prior to you stepping foot?
- 4:17Speaker 4: Yeah, it was really bizarre and hard to watch. I'm
- 4:19Speaker 4: very grateful for all the women who shared their stories.
- 4:22Speaker 4: I feel less alone because of it. And that's why
- 4:24Speaker 4: I wanted to be interviewed for that documentary and agreed
- 4:26Speaker 4: to be interviewed is because I wanted to support them
- 4:28Speaker 4: as well. And I had no idea about any of
- 4:31Speaker 4: that stuff when I first came to the mansion. Over
- 4:33Speaker 4: the years I was there, I started to have an
- 4:35Speaker 4: idea of a little bit of it, but not very much.
- 4:38Speaker 2: What were some of the things that were like, hmm,
- 4:41Speaker 2: and maybe you pushed it to the back of your
- 4:42Speaker 2: mind or didn't want to know more?
- 4:45Speaker 4: Well, the first person who was interviewed for Secrets of
- 4:47Speaker 4: Playboy was Jennifer Saganar, who was the daughter of Hef's doctor,
- 4:51Speaker 4: and she lived at the house for a while. And
- 4:53Speaker 4: she had written a book while I was there, maybe
- 4:54Speaker 4: like midway into my time at the mansion. And I
- 4:57Speaker 4: just remember when it came out, Hef kept trying to
- 4:59Speaker 4: debunk it by saying, well, look, she got this fact wrong.
- 5:01Speaker 4: She said she saw John Belushi there at this date,
- 5:04Speaker 4: but he was dead by this date. Like he was
- 5:06Speaker 4: pointing out all these inconsistencies. So, you know, I kind
- 5:09Speaker 4: of took it with a grain of salt, but I
- 5:11Speaker 4: don't disbelieve any of it.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So did you read that book?
- 5:15Speaker 4: I did, but very like low key. Like I didn't
- 5:17Speaker 4: have to see I was reading it.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Like in the bathroom?
- 5:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 4: And I didn't know really what to make of it
- 5:23Speaker 4: at the time because he was kind of pointing out
- 5:25Speaker 4: inconsistencies with it. But now I don't disbelieve any of, like, the,
- 5:30Speaker 4: you know, the real stuff that happened with her and
- 5:32Speaker 4: the traumatic things. And she was very young, too, so.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And when somebody comes out with something like that, you know,
- 5:36Speaker 2: and you've got the person that you're living with that's
- 5:39Speaker 2: your whole world being like, oh, she was bitter or
- 5:42Speaker 2: they're chasing something or she couldn't make it as an actress.
- 5:45Speaker 2: So now she's doing this tell all to get press.
- 5:48Speaker 2: They just want to get press. Of course, that's always
- 5:50Speaker 2: the thing that you hear from the man that's denying
- 5:54Speaker 2: the accusation, you know?
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. And then with Sondra Theodore's story, she was
- 5:59Speaker 4: Hef's girlfriend in the 70s and she shared her story
- 6:01Speaker 4: on Secrets of Playboy, which was really heart wrenching to watch.
- 6:04Speaker 4: You know, she was still like coming up to the
- 6:06Speaker 4: mansion for certain social things while I was there. And
- 6:09Speaker 4: she was always really nice. But I always kind of
- 6:11Speaker 4: had a suspicion that maybe something hadn't been happy. Just little,
- 6:15Speaker 4: you know, things I would hear from people who'd been
- 6:17Speaker 4: friends with her back then and saying that she didn't
- 6:20Speaker 4: always enjoy her time there. And I always kind of
- 6:23Speaker 4: felt like she seemed, when she would come back up,
- 6:25Speaker 4: like she was almost about ready to cry. But I
- 6:26Speaker 4: didn't really know her that well and I didn't know
- 6:29Speaker 4: what that was. I thought, well, maybe she just had
- 6:30Speaker 4: a drink and was having fun or maybe it's been
- 6:32Speaker 4: a rough day. I don't know. Like I didn't look
- 6:34Speaker 4: into it too much. But it was those little clues
- 6:36Speaker 4: that when I hear the story now, I'm like, oh,
- 6:38Speaker 4: it all makes sense.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now, was she the one– because I remember this is
- 6:42Speaker 2: just stuck in my brain so much– There was one
- 6:45Speaker 2: of them that, you know, was very happy to be
- 6:48Speaker 2: with Hef and thought that he adored her and loved her.
- 6:51Speaker 2: And she was trying to be an actress and she
- 6:54Speaker 2: was so excited and she got an agent or an
- 6:57Speaker 2: audition or something. And he basically squashed it. He like
- 7:02Speaker 2: found out and to her face was like, oh, that's great.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And then went and called and was like, don't give
- 7:09Speaker 2: her the part or dump her as a client because
- 7:11Speaker 2: if she gets this, then I can't control her. And
- 7:15Speaker 2: I actually don't want her to be a success. I
- 7:17Speaker 2: actually don't want her to be on Hawaii Five-0 or whatever.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that was Sondra that had that story.
- 7:23Speaker 2: And I thought that was so telling. And I thought
- 7:27Speaker 2: it was a good thing for people to see today.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Because I think a lot of people get in relationships
- 7:33Speaker 2: where there's a big power dynamic. And they're like, oh,
- 7:37Speaker 2: my God, this is great. He's rich. He's great. He's connected. Yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 2: he's 20 years older or whatever, but I'm thrilled to, like,
- 7:45Speaker 2: you know, get to meet all these important people. And
- 7:48Speaker 2: then the years go by and you're like, well, why
- 7:52Speaker 2: haven't I been given anything, you know, or why haven't
- 7:55Speaker 2: I gotten anything? And the truth is that person that
- 7:59Speaker 2: could get you on a show like that literally could
- 8:02Speaker 2: pick up the phone as easily as picking up the
- 8:04Speaker 2: phone and saying, don't give her the part. could be like, hey,
- 8:07Speaker 2: my girl's going out for a five and under on
- 8:10Speaker 2: a sitcom. Can you get it for her?
- 8:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 2: They just as easily can be like, you better make
- 8:16Speaker 2: sure she doesn't get that part.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure. A hundred percent. And I think, you know,
- 8:22Speaker 4: from what I observed, it seemed like any time one
- 8:25Speaker 4: of his girlfriends did find success and like left because
- 8:27Speaker 4: of it, it kind of seemed like he got stricter
- 8:29Speaker 4: and stricter with each new group of women that came
- 8:32Speaker 4: along to try and keep that from happening.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:34Speaker 4: But when I was 21 and going up to the
- 8:36Speaker 4: mansion and seeing it from the outside, everybody, including him,
- 8:39Speaker 4: acts like they're so happy. I thought he just loved
- 8:41Speaker 4: the revolving door. And if his playmates went on to
- 8:43Speaker 4: be successes, great. Good for the magazine. I didn't think
- 8:46Speaker 4: there was anything weird about that. You know what I'm.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Just remembering right now? Because I told you that like
- 8:52Speaker 2: around 98, 99, I was going to the parties. Mm-hmm.
- 8:57Speaker 2: And I was on the list, I don't know, when
- 9:00Speaker 2: they needed some people to go, I guess. Stop. But
- 9:05Speaker 2: I remember getting invited, and I want to say her
- 9:08Speaker 2: name was Brandy. She was one of his girlfriends, and
- 9:11Speaker 2: she got on Baywatch Hawaii. And the party was, it
- 9:17Speaker 2: was a smaller party, but still a party, but not
- 9:19Speaker 2: like a Midsommar's. And they're like, we're having a party
- 9:22Speaker 2: for her because she got on. the Hawaii thing. And
- 9:26Speaker 2: I remember going, oh, that's really nice. I guess they
- 9:30Speaker 2: won't still be boyfriend and girlfriend, whatever. But now I'm
- 9:33Speaker 2: thinking that was kind of the last time that he
- 9:37Speaker 2: allowed that to happen.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:39Speaker 4: I mean, based on what I know from him, I
- 9:41Speaker 4: think he kind of expected her to come back. I'm
- 9:43Speaker 4: sure she was probably very clear on her intentions, but
- 9:46Speaker 4: I think he kind of expected her to come back
- 9:48Speaker 4: and then was disappointed when that didn't happen. And then
- 9:52Speaker 4: You didn't see anybody else doing anything until Girls Next Door,
- 9:55Speaker 4: but he very much thought he can control that as well.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I just think, I think a lot of people
- 9:59Speaker 2: get with someone and to the outside world, they're, oh
- 10:04Speaker 2: my God, they're, you know, Instagram, even today, their Instagram
- 10:07Speaker 2: numbers went up. They're on the red carpet. They're this,
- 10:10Speaker 2: oh my God. And then the years go by and
- 10:14Speaker 2: it's like, well, now that, who knows if that person
- 10:19Speaker 2: You know, like even like a Kato Kaelin, okay?
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Like I remember talking to Kato Kaelin, famous from the
- 10:26Speaker 2: OJ trial, and I was like, you know, you became famous.
- 10:30Speaker 2: You're this famous neighbor and everything. I go, but you
- 10:33Speaker 2: were like booking stuff and you were like a legit
- 10:35Speaker 2: actor going out for stuff. Do you ever wonder if
- 10:38Speaker 2: you were not living in that guest house, could have
- 10:41Speaker 2: been on fucking Friends? Like who knows?
- 10:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Yeah, because now all anyone can see him as is
- 10:48Speaker 4: the OJ guy. And he can't get lost in a
- 10:50Speaker 4: role anymore. He can't be anyone else's new discovery. And
- 10:53Speaker 4: that's what a casting director wants. They want to feel
- 10:55Speaker 4: like they found the person. Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 2: So, okay, let's talk about a couple of these cases.
- 11:01Speaker 2: This one I'm not aware of. Her name's Lori Bembenek.
- 11:07Speaker 2: How do you say her last name?
- 11:07Speaker 4: Yes, this is Lori Bembenek. She was framed for murder
- 11:10Speaker 4: in the early 80s, ended up going to prison for
- 11:12Speaker 4: 10 years. She worked as a Playboy Bunny at one
- 11:15Speaker 4: of the resorts up in the Midwest.
- 11:19Speaker 2: In the 80s?
- 11:19Speaker 4: Yeah, but she only worked there for three weeks. She
- 11:22Speaker 4: had been a police officer before. And once she got
- 11:25Speaker 4: framed for this murder, all anyone wrote about was that
- 11:28Speaker 4: she was the Playboy Bunny killer. You know, they framed
- 11:31Speaker 4: her kind of as this femme fatale. And nobody ever
- 11:34Speaker 4: ran a picture of her in her police officer uniform
- 11:37Speaker 4: or anything else. She was just known as a bunny.
- 11:39Speaker 4: And this was something that was.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Very bothersome to her. So she was like the waitress
- 11:42Speaker 2: girl in the cute cocktail.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Yeah, in the costume.
- 11:44Speaker 2: And so what was the case? How did they frame her?
- 11:47Speaker 2: What happened?
- 11:48Speaker 4: Well, it was the wife, the ex-wife of her husband,
- 11:51Speaker 4: who was murdered. And supposedly there had been a large
- 11:55Speaker 4: man in a wig wearing an army jacket, according to
- 11:58Speaker 4: the kids' testimony, because the kids were in the house
- 11:59Speaker 4: that night. They saw it, but they weren't killed. But
- 12:03Speaker 4: somehow it got turned around on her and there's some
- 12:06Speaker 4: suspicion because she had filed a discrimination suit against the
- 12:09Speaker 4: Milwaukee Police Department because she'd been let go from the
- 12:13Speaker 4: force for reasons she thought were shady. So it's all
- 12:17Speaker 4: a very suspicious situation. And she ended up writing a
- 12:21Speaker 4: book about it after the fact. So I was able
- 12:23Speaker 4: to go in and kind of see she's no longer
- 12:25Speaker 4: with us now. She passed away at age 50.
- 12:27Speaker 2: But she wrote her stories. But she did get convicted? Yeah.
- 12:31Speaker 4: She did. And she spent 10 years in prison. She escaped.
- 12:37Speaker 4: She met someone in prison. They escaped. She went to Canada,
- 12:40Speaker 4: got caught there. And she was only extradited back to
- 12:44Speaker 4: the States when they agreed to retry the case. So
- 12:47Speaker 4: she ended up getting second degree, but time served. So
- 12:50Speaker 4: she was free after that. But it was just a
- 12:51Speaker 4: wild story. And it got so much press attention at
- 12:53Speaker 4: the time. And By the time she escaped, everybody was
- 12:56Speaker 4: kind of rooting for her. And her nickname was Bambi.
- 12:59Speaker 4: So it was like run, Bambi, run was the slogan.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Oh, I remember this. I remember this like made-for-TV movie now. Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Because they called her Bambi in the police academy training.
- 13:08Speaker 4: They all had nicknames for each other. Wow.
- 13:11Speaker 2: You know, it is just so interesting how press and
- 13:17Speaker 2: media– You know, any kind of like, even when you
- 13:20Speaker 2: watch like a Dateline or whatever, it's like a Hollywood story,
- 13:24Speaker 2: you know? And they're like, oh. And I'm like, oh,
- 13:25Speaker 2: let me get into this one. And it's like they'll
- 13:28Speaker 2: exaggerate how much the person even worked in Hollywood. It'll
- 13:32Speaker 2: be like. For sure. And she had, you know, and
- 13:35Speaker 2: you're like, wait a minute. She was an extra for
- 13:39Speaker 2: one day. Yeah. But anything to kind of like grab
- 13:42Speaker 2: on that the players in it were Hollywood driven or attractive.
- 13:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:47Speaker 2: So then any association with Playboy you know, just really
- 13:53Speaker 2: ups the interest. But then, of course, it can be
- 13:55Speaker 2: really used against you, too, when in this case.
- 14:00Speaker 4: It's frustrating because back then there was no social media
- 14:02Speaker 4: or any way she could really speak for herself in
- 14:04Speaker 4: a way that was effective.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yeah, she couldn't do a TikTok and be like, oh,
- 14:06Speaker 2: excuse me. Yeah.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Like, I was really a police officer, not just a
- 14:10Speaker 4: waitress for three weeks.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and they fired me because I was being hit
- 14:13Speaker 2: on and I was going to talk about it or
- 14:14Speaker 2: whatever the case might have been or they were just
- 14:16Speaker 2: pissed that they were even allowing women back then to
- 14:18Speaker 2: be cops or whatever. Yeah. Okay. This story is crazy.
- 14:24Speaker 4: Yes. I'd never heard of this one until the producer
- 14:27Speaker 4: brought it to my attention. This is Melanie Holler. She
- 14:29Speaker 4: was an actress. She was on Welcome Back, Cotter. She
- 14:31Speaker 4: had a recurring role on that show.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Which was a huge sitcom in the 70s with John Travolta.
- 14:36Speaker 2: It was like, you know, that's when there were three
- 14:38Speaker 2: channels on TV and millions and millions of people watched,
- 14:41Speaker 2: you know, each show.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Yeah. And she did a celebrity pictorial in Playboy. And
- 14:45Speaker 4: while the magazine was still on the newsstand, she was
- 14:48Speaker 4: invited out to a party in the Hamptons at this
- 14:51Speaker 4: guy's house. His name was Roy Radin. He was a producer.
- 14:54Speaker 4: And a bunch of horrible things happened at that party.
- 14:57Speaker 4: She was terribly abused, almost left for dead. Something happened
- 15:01Speaker 4: where Roy actually called her mom and said, she's out here.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I don't know how he got his mother's information, her
- 15:08Speaker 4: mother's information. And she said, well, can you put her
- 15:11Speaker 4: in a car at least? And he said, no, $ 60
- 15:12Speaker 4: for a limo is too expensive. I'm putting her on
- 15:15Speaker 4: a bus. And she was found on the bus, just
- 15:18Speaker 4: beaten and.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Like what you gave me some of the notes. So
- 15:21Speaker 2: these are the things that I gathered was like she
- 15:26Speaker 2: also met some guy who she brought as her date
- 15:31Speaker 2: and she was going there with her portfolio to audition.
- 15:38Speaker 2: And to audition for this legit movie producer that did
- 15:43Speaker 2: the movie Cotton Club, which was a big movie. I
- 15:45Speaker 2: want to say I even think maybe Eddie Murphy or
- 15:47Speaker 2: someone was in it, but it was a big movie
- 15:49Speaker 2: like in the 80s. And so, you know, again, whether
- 15:55Speaker 2: it's Harvey Weinstein or whatever. You're like, okay, this is
- 15:57Speaker 2: my chance. And, like, I am a legit actress. I have,
- 16:01Speaker 2: you know, been on set. I am attractive, you know,
- 16:06Speaker 2: naturally beautiful back then. People didn't have all the plastic surgery,
- 16:09Speaker 2: so it was, like, hard to find the girl that
- 16:11Speaker 2: had the perfect teeth and the perfect tits. And so
- 16:15Speaker 2: then she goes out there and, you know, these group
- 16:20Speaker 2: orgy kind of things happen to her. They drug her.
- 16:23Speaker 5: And.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Thank God she lived. But they find her like, yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 2: like the net. And yeah, I mean, the fact that
- 16:32Speaker 2: this guy just didn't even care that she was beaten
- 16:35Speaker 2: and abused and raped. And he throws her on a
- 16:39Speaker 2: bus or a subway or something back to the mom.
- 16:43Speaker 2: And then someone found her next to her portfolio.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I'm just like, but let's get into how weird that.
- 16:52Speaker 2: The background of this guy was and the things that
- 16:56Speaker 2: they found as evidence of the kind of shit that
- 16:58Speaker 2: these people were into in the 80s.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Well, he was a producer of live events like vaudeville
- 17:04Speaker 4: and things. Well, vaudeville revival at that point. But he
- 17:07Speaker 4: was very successful. Later got into movies, as you said,
- 17:10Speaker 4: like The Cotton Club.
- 17:11Speaker 2: And.
- 17:12Speaker 4: He was doing a lot of crazy stuff at his house.
- 17:15Speaker 4: They found videotape. They found all kinds of evidence of,
- 17:18Speaker 4: you know, weird ritualistic things and sexual assault.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah, satanic stuff. It's really scary. And snuff films, which
- 17:26Speaker 2: I didn't know what snuff films were. You'd hear that.
- 17:29Speaker 2: And they're actually films that existed where they would film
- 17:35Speaker 2: like actual murders. Yeah. And people would pass them around.
- 17:40Speaker 2: And I think back then, there weren't VHS tapes and
- 17:44Speaker 2: stuff like that. So you kind of had to be
- 17:46Speaker 2: with someone in the movie industry to have it be
- 17:50Speaker 2: playing on film to see it.
- 17:52Speaker 4: Yeah, or somebody has to have the whole theater set
- 17:53Speaker 4: up at their house.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and so here are these people that are these
- 17:57Speaker 2: elites in Hollywood back then. This shit really happened. You
- 18:02Speaker 2: hear about it now and people think it's not real
- 18:05Speaker 2: or whatever, what crazy TikTok conspiracy, whatever.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 18:11Speaker 2: But according to this hardcore evidence, this shit was happening
- 18:16Speaker 2: in the 80s with people in the industry. And then
- 18:19Speaker 2: they would actually abuse these women and have these sex
- 18:24Speaker 2: orgies with also women participating and abusing the women and
- 18:29Speaker 2: film it.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 4: It's really disgusting.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Okay. So what happened with her case? Because then she
- 18:37Speaker 2: was able to. point out the people who did it.
- 18:41Speaker 4: But the guys barely got a slap on the wrist.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I don't think they did any time or anything.
- 18:44Speaker 2: I think it said 30 days for one guy and
- 18:47Speaker 2: the other guy a fine for a thousand.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:50Speaker 2: And a lot of that was she was a playmate.
- 18:53Speaker 2: She went to the party willingly. She drank and did drugs.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Her issue was still on the stand when it happened.
- 18:59Speaker 4: So everybody just kind of had this prejudice in their
- 19:01Speaker 4: mind that they should never have had in the first place.
- 19:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Oh, her issue of Playboy was still on the newsstand. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, like, oh, well,
- 19:10Speaker 2: this girl, this is what happens. This is why you shouldn't,
- 19:13Speaker 2: you know, take nude photos for a magazine.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Yeah, that's how people feel.
- 19:18Speaker 2: And or thinking like, well, this is what crazy Hollywood
- 19:20Speaker 2: people do and you deserve it.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Yeah, it's horrific for sure.
- 19:26Speaker 2: And where is she still alive today? She's still alive.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Roy Radin, I believe this separate case isn't a case
- 19:33Speaker 4: I'm focusing on, so I might have the facts wrong,
- 19:34Speaker 4: but I believe he got murdered in what they call
- 19:36Speaker 4: the Cotton Club murders.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Oh, that's, yes. Yeah. And they found him in like
- 19:41Speaker 2: the desert. Obviously looked like a hit.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Really scary.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I'm thinking, I just read that. I'm like, oh, he
- 19:49Speaker 2: raped the. wrong person's daughter. Right. He took somebody, somebody's
- 19:54Speaker 2: kid got invited or was excited to go to this
- 19:58Speaker 2: fancy party in the Hamptons thinking they were going to
- 20:00Speaker 2: make connections and somebody's uncle or whatever's in the mob.
- 20:05Speaker 2: And they were like, no, not today, Satan. Like, you're
- 20:09Speaker 2: fucking dead.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Could be karma comes back around.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that was just, it's just, I just, there's something
- 20:16Speaker 2: just so sad about this or sexual harassment or, like,
- 20:23Speaker 2: the hard, anything where someone thinks, like, I don't know,
- 20:28Speaker 2: just because I look back, reading, even reading the stuff
- 20:30Speaker 2: that you sent me, it just, like, brings back, like,
- 20:33Speaker 2: so many memories of just, somebody going, hey, you want
- 20:37Speaker 2: to go to this? And I'm like, oh, I could
- 20:39Speaker 2: meet some people.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure.
- 20:41Speaker 2: And it could lead to something. And, you know.
- 20:44Speaker 4: You almost go anywhere, you know, when you don't have
- 20:47Speaker 4: connections and you're just like, because you think of it
- 20:49Speaker 4: as work. You're just putting yourself out there. You're mingling
- 20:52Speaker 4: and you never know what's going to be the wrong thing.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 2: And I mean, even in my early, like, stand-up days,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I just remember I did this tiny little bit. A
- 21:01Speaker 2: friend of a friend worked for E!, And it was
- 21:04Speaker 2: like E was like barely around. And she's like, I
- 21:08Speaker 2: want to do a story on like female stand-ups. I
- 21:10Speaker 2: had literally done stand-up like I don't even know, probably
- 21:13Speaker 2: 10 or 15 times. And so they come to the
- 21:15Speaker 2: comedy store in the belly room and she films a
- 21:18Speaker 2: little thing. And the woman who runs it is like
- 21:21Speaker 2: so excited because she's been doing it for like 30
- 21:23Speaker 2: years and has never been on TV. So it was
- 21:24Speaker 2: like whatever. And I get interviewed. But, you know, E,
- 21:28Speaker 2: they keep playing that shit. And this guy comes up
- 21:30Speaker 2: to me at the Starbucks in– In Brentwood. And he's like, hey,
- 21:35Speaker 2: I saw you and, you know, my friend's a comedy manager.
- 21:39Speaker 2: And I was like, I'm like, oh, my God, all
- 21:43Speaker 2: I want is representation. This is amazing. All right, come.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I'm doing another show at the Belly Room Comedy Store
- 21:49Speaker 2: this weekend. So the guy comes and he's like, yeah,
- 21:53Speaker 2: I think you got something. Let's, you know, let's meet.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Let's work together. And I remember my sister and my
- 21:59Speaker 2: best friend, we went across to House of Blues. And
- 22:02Speaker 2: we were partying. And I was like, next year it's
- 22:05Speaker 2: the Oscars. Like I was just like, finally, I have
- 22:09Speaker 2: someone that can send me out. So the guy gets
- 22:16Speaker 2: me booked at this club, which doesn't exist anymore, which
- 22:19Speaker 2: was great. But, you know, I'm like, oh, my God.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I remember I called him and I'm like, I'm so excited.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I can now host, meaning I'm just basically doing five
- 22:28Speaker 2: minutes and introducing people. No, for no money, of course.
- 22:33Speaker 2: And he's like, well, I have a little issue. I'm like, what?
- 22:37Speaker 2: He goes, well, my phone died or I don't know what.
- 22:41Speaker 2: He said he needed $ 180. This is my big Hollywood manager, right?
- 22:48Speaker 2: And I'm like, thinking in my dumb head of desperation
- 22:52Speaker 2: in Hollywood and being like 22 years old, I was like, oh,
- 22:56Speaker 2: my God, I got to get this guy's phone back
- 22:59Speaker 2: and running. Like, how are all these people going to
- 23:01Speaker 2: find me? Right? It's your only lifeline. So I go,
- 23:06Speaker 2: and I give him the $ 180. He never pays me back. Ugh.
- 23:12Speaker 2: But every time he'd be like, hey, let's go over
- 23:14Speaker 2: your stand-up or something, I would go. And then, of course,
- 23:17Speaker 2: one day he, like, makes a move on me. Oh, no.
- 23:21Speaker 2: And he was so gross.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Ugh.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I never got my $ 180 back.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Oh, it's the worst.
- 23:29Speaker 2: It's the worst, but I was just so excited.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Yeah, but especially back in the day when we didn't
- 23:34Speaker 4: have those online resources and you're new to the industry
- 23:37Speaker 4: and you don't know anybody attached. You're kind of just,
- 23:39Speaker 4: you know, and you're told to do that. Network, show

- 23:48Speaker 2: What to wear?
- 23:49Speaker 7: Toast or cereal? One more episode or time for bed?

- 24:11Speaker 7: with extraordinary people who have faced tremendous setbacks.
- 24:33Speaker 5: And yet somehow have found a way to turn them
- 24:36Speaker 5: into their greatest strengths.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 24:44Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 24:44Speaker 4: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 24:47Speaker 4: what would you do if it was given back?
- 24:49Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 24:52Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order.
- 24:53Speaker 2: To feel loved?
- 24:54Speaker 6: He said, I have a work dad.
- 24:56Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 24:57Speaker 6: What happens next?
- 24:58Speaker 2: When I came in, he started crying.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 25:04Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 25:07Speaker 6: happens next.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 25:10Speaker 2: every day was.
- 25:11Speaker 7: You're worth the work.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Listen, Dar, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 25:14Speaker 2: use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 25:16Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 25:30Speaker 4: Yeah, and it can be tricky sometimes.
- 25:32Speaker 2: When you got– remind people again because I don't remember.
- 25:37Speaker 2: You come here from– where are you from again?
- 25:40Speaker 4: I came from Oregon. Yeah, I transferred colleges. I was
- 25:42Speaker 4: at Loyola Marymount.
- 25:43Speaker 2: So you were at Loyola Marymount going to school. And
- 25:46Speaker 2: how did you– did you know you– were you interested
- 25:49Speaker 2: in modeling, acting? Like what was your thing?
- 25:52Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely. I definitely wanted to model or act or
- 25:56Speaker 4: just do something in the entertainment industry. I didn't even
- 25:58Speaker 4: know what. So I had an agent. I had my headshots.
- 26:01Speaker 4: I was going out on auditions. And also I was
- 26:03Speaker 4: working to pay my tuition, the part that the scholarship
- 26:06Speaker 4: didn't cover. But I also have to keep my grades
- 26:07Speaker 4: up to keep the scholarship money. So I was just
- 26:09Speaker 4: kind of flopping at everything because I was trying to
- 26:11Speaker 4: do too much. And I had been invited to the
- 26:14Speaker 4: Playboy parties, which I love Playboy and.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Wanted to do. Now, how were you first invited to
- 26:17Speaker 2: the party?
- 26:18Speaker 4: I was in a Hawaiian Tropics contest. I ended up
- 26:21Speaker 4: working for Hawaiian Tropic. And Hef's doctor would invite the
- 26:24Speaker 4: girls from Hawaiian Tropic. To go.
- 26:27Speaker 2: He would just tell the Hawaiian Tropic guy, all these
- 26:28Speaker 2: girls are invited. So what was that like? That was
- 26:29Speaker 2: like you'd wear the bathing suits. You have a sash, right?
- 26:33Speaker 2: Like you were like in a pageant.
- 26:35Speaker 4: Usually to events, though, you'd wear like shorts and like
- 26:36Speaker 4: a crop top that said Hawaiian Tropic. Or you'd be
- 26:39Speaker 4: hired to be like a featured extra in a movie
- 26:41Speaker 4: if they wanted like cute girls or something.
- 26:43Speaker 2: So you were just in this cute girl situation. Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 2: And you get paid how much back in the day
- 26:47Speaker 2: to like go participate?
- 26:48Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 26:48Speaker 4: I don't even remember. I mean, if I could guess
- 26:51Speaker 4: and it would be completely the wrong number, it wasn't
- 26:53Speaker 4: like a lot of money. But it was, you know–
- 26:56Speaker 4: I was a Bud Light girl.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Uh-huh. That we'd go to bars and a couple events.
- 27:02Speaker 2: And I found the outfit. It was, like, pretty conservative, actually.
- 27:05Speaker 2: It wasn't even, like, that cute. Anyway, I remember it
- 27:07Speaker 2: was $ 75. And I was pretty excited to get that
- 27:11Speaker 2: for three or four hours to be with my friends.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Yeah, it was probably something similar for the Hawaiian Tropic.
- 27:16Speaker 4: And you just, like, flirt and gave out, like, a
- 27:18Speaker 4: free button. Yeah. Have your picture taken.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 27:21Speaker 2: It really wasn't that bad. Okay, so you... So you
- 27:24Speaker 2: get invited to the parties and then... Well, I went
- 27:28Speaker 2: to the big party, the Midsummer Night's Dream party. And
- 27:30Speaker 2: then I was asked to come to the Sunday pool parties,
- 27:33Speaker 2: which are smaller and much more exclusive. And I started
- 27:36Speaker 2: going to those and, you know, talking to the people
- 27:38Speaker 2: that would go every Sunday. I didn't really talk to
- 27:40Speaker 2: half much or anything until about like a year after
- 27:43Speaker 2: going to my first Sunday pool party. That's when I
- 27:45Speaker 2: went out with the group. Oh, that's when you went
- 27:47Speaker 2: out with the group. And then they were like, we
- 27:49Speaker 2: like you, we want you to stay. And at that time...
- 27:54Speaker 2: Were you still in school?
- 27:56Speaker 4: No, I had dropped out and taken some time off
- 27:58Speaker 4: like right before. So I was like, I'm not doing
- 28:01Speaker 4: well at anything right now. I need to like narrow
- 28:02Speaker 4: it down. So I'll try and do something in the
- 28:04Speaker 4: entertainment industry because you have to do that while you're young.
- 28:06Speaker 4: I can go back to school at any time.
- 28:08Speaker 2: So were you, like, living in some apartment in L.A.? Like,
- 28:11Speaker 2: did you have a roommate?
- 28:12Speaker 4: Yeah, with a couple other girls who were also working
- 28:15Speaker 4: at Hooters with me because that was my job.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 4: But around that time, both of my roommates had decided
- 28:20Speaker 4: to move back home. So I was like, I'm going
- 28:22Speaker 4: to be homeless.
- 28:22Speaker 2: So now you're fucked.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 4: And that's why I went out with the group because
- 28:24Speaker 4: I was like, maybe I could live there for a while.
- 28:27Speaker 4: I wouldn't have had the balls to do that if
- 28:28Speaker 4: I hadn't been, like, almost homeless.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 2: So then you're like, all right, fine. Like, who knows,
- 28:34Speaker 2: you know, where this will lead.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 2: And then was there any opportunity before the TV show
- 28:41Speaker 2: that maybe it was sabotaged now that you look back?
- 28:47Speaker 4: I don't know that anything particularly was sabotaged. I caught
- 28:50Speaker 4: on pretty quick that I wasn't supposed to work. He
- 28:52Speaker 4: didn't want us having any kind of like day job
- 28:55Speaker 4: or anything like that. So I would like sneak around
- 28:57Speaker 4: and go to auditions and things like that. And I'd
- 28:59Speaker 4: get callbacks for things. But I got to a point
- 29:02Speaker 4: where I was like, I give up on this. I
- 29:03Speaker 4: forget what it was, but it was one of those
- 29:05Speaker 4: like three strike experiences where like I was on hold
- 29:08Speaker 4: for a commercial. So I called my agent like, am
- 29:10Speaker 4: I still on hold? And the new receptionist was like,
- 29:12Speaker 4: you are never on hold for anything. It was just
- 29:14Speaker 4: a bunch of weird experiences like that. I'm like, I'm
- 29:16Speaker 4: done with this. This is such a pain in the ass.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 29:19Speaker 4: And then the show came along.
- 29:21Speaker 2: I know there's sometimes in this business where it just
- 29:23Speaker 2: hits you on the wrong day. There's other days where
- 29:25Speaker 2: you're like, keep going, sister. And then there's other days
- 29:28Speaker 2: where you're like, you know what?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Fuck it.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I can't take it. I can't. Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 4: It's too much uncertainty.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I totally hear you.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Okay.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Oh, this was just a photo. of her whole thing.
- 29:41Speaker 2: And she went on, this girl that we went back to,
- 29:44Speaker 2: the one that was unfortunately beaten and all this stuff.
- 29:47Speaker 2: And then she just led a quiet life, right?
- 29:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:49Speaker 4: I think she chose to live privately, which is understandable
- 29:52Speaker 4: after all that trauma and going through the case and
- 29:54Speaker 4: everything and not feeling like people are siding with you,
- 29:57Speaker 4: I imagine.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Yeah. But she's still with us, so that's good. Okay,
- 30:01Speaker 2: now these girls, the Bentley twins, I remember them and
- 30:06Speaker 2: they were his two identical girlfriends. They were in the
- 30:10Speaker 2: press a lot.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 2: And they were right before kind of you guys, right? Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 4: The first Midsummer Night's Dream party I went to, he
- 30:18Speaker 4: was still dating the twins. And I remember seeing them
- 30:20Speaker 4: and thinking they were the best looking people I'd ever
- 30:23Speaker 4: seen in my life.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Like I.
- 30:25Speaker 4: like my jaw was on the floor. I just thought
- 30:26Speaker 4: they were stunning. And I never got to know them
- 30:28Speaker 4: personally because they were gone by the time I moved in.
- 30:30Speaker 4: But I just thought they were so pretty. Now, this
- 30:32Speaker 4: is a crazy story. So why don't you walk us
- 30:35Speaker 4: through it?
- 30:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 30:37Speaker 4: So this is a kind of a stranger than fiction story.
- 30:39Speaker 4: So one of the twins, Sandy, she was dating Hef,
- 30:43Speaker 4: but on the side, she was seeing this guy who,
- 30:46Speaker 4: Mark Yagala, who was This very young, like early 20s
- 30:50Speaker 4: kind of Wall Street guy who we would find out
- 30:53Speaker 4: later was embezzling a lot of the money people were
- 30:55Speaker 4: giving him to invest. He ended up spending $ 7 million
- 30:59Speaker 4: on Sandy. I don't know how to get a guy
- 31:03Speaker 4: to spend.
- 31:04Speaker 2: That much money. He spent $ 7 million on how?
- 31:07Speaker 4: Like just jewels and– Bought her a house in Vegas,
- 31:10Speaker 4: remodeled the house.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Oh, and she's, like, also, like, coming back. But at
- 31:15Speaker 2: this time, they didn't have the 9 p.m.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I think things were a little more lax back then.
- 31:19Speaker 2: But she and this twin sister still lived at the
- 31:21Speaker 2: mansion while she was seeing this Wall Street guy. Yeah.
- 31:24Speaker 2: And he was young but rich.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 31:28Speaker 4: Yeah, so he spent all this money on her, but then.
- 31:30Speaker 2: And they met— is this the guy that she met at
- 31:32Speaker 2: the Garden of Eden?
- 31:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 4: Well, she met Hef at the Garden of Eden.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I'm not sure where she met him. I totally remember
- 31:36Speaker 2: that place.
- 31:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:38Speaker 2: You know who I think– I think that's where Kyle
- 31:41Speaker 2: from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills met Mauricio. Really? The
- 31:44Speaker 2: Garden of Eden was on La Cienega, right?
- 31:46Speaker 4: I don't know because I think it was over by
- 31:48Speaker 4: the time I was kind of on the scene a
- 31:49Speaker 4: little bit.
- 31:50Speaker 2: I definitely remember going there. Okay. So continue. Yeah.
- 31:53Speaker 4: So this Mark Yagala gets busted for what he's doing
- 31:57Speaker 4: and then they start looking into– where did all the
- 32:00Speaker 4: funds go? Where did all this money go? Because they're
- 32:01Speaker 4: trying to get it back for the victims, right? So
- 32:04Speaker 4: they find that a lot was spent on Sandy and
- 32:07Speaker 4: they're seizing all her assets. And apparently she and her
- 32:11Speaker 4: new boyfriend, a really good looking guy who was a
- 32:13Speaker 4: doorman at the Garden of Eden, it all comes back
- 32:15Speaker 4: to Garden of Eden for some reason, they had taken
- 32:18Speaker 4: some of her jewels and had hidden them and tried
- 32:21Speaker 4: to sell them kind of on the down low to
- 32:24Speaker 4: get some of that money back. And he ended up
- 32:28Speaker 4: being found dead along with his best friend who went
- 32:30Speaker 4: with him in a car, and the jewels were gone.
- 32:33Speaker 4: And it's still to this day unsolved.
- 32:35Speaker 2: But wait, where was the Wall Street guy?
- 32:37Speaker 4: He was no longer involved at this point.
- 32:39Speaker 2: So he was out of the picture, but he's alive. Mm-hmm. Okay.
- 32:42Speaker 2: And then these two guys were found.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Dead, yeah, because they were trying to sell the jewels.
- 32:47Speaker 4: And the jewels were gone.
- 32:48Speaker 2: They were dead.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Nobody knows who has the jewels, who was supposed to
- 32:51Speaker 4: buy the jewels.
- 32:53Speaker 2: And... And when all this was going down, were they
- 32:57Speaker 2: still hanging out with Hef or no?
- 32:59Speaker 4: I think they were. I think she was gone. Well,
- 33:01Speaker 4: she was definitely gone by the time the murders happened.
- 33:03Speaker 4: I remember hearing about it maybe a year or two
- 33:06Speaker 4: after I moved in. I remember one of Hef's friends
- 33:08Speaker 4: was telling me about it at the dinner table. And
- 33:10Speaker 4: I just thought this is stranger than like you can't
- 33:12Speaker 4: write this stuff. So many twists and turns.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I remember like seeing a lot about this like during
- 33:18Speaker 2: the hard copy days and stuff. And I remember they'd
- 33:20Speaker 2: be like following her like out of a store. In
- 33:23Speaker 2: Vegas or whatever. And they, where are these twins now?
- 33:29Speaker 2: Because I feel like we have not heard from them
- 33:32Speaker 2: and they were not part of the Playboy doc.
- 33:34Speaker 4: No, they've definitely been living quiet lives. I know Sandy
- 33:36Speaker 4: got married and had a baby. And, you know, everybody
- 33:39Speaker 4: I know who knows them only has nice things to say.
- 33:42Speaker 4: And I think they're just living quiet lives.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And so the other girl, though, Sandy, the other sister,
- 33:49Speaker 2: never was involved.
- 33:50Speaker 4: No, she wasn't involved as far as I know.
- 33:52Speaker 2: What happened to those two other twins?
- 33:56Speaker 4: Oh, the Shannon twins who were there later?
- 34:00Speaker 2: Wait, weren't there also– maybe these weren't Playboy. There were
- 34:03Speaker 2: these two other twins that were always on hard copy
- 34:06Speaker 2: that were super thin. Oh, do you mean the Barbie twins?
- 34:08Speaker 2: The Barbie twins.
- 34:09Speaker 4: They were in Playboy. I don't think they were like
- 34:11Speaker 4: ever involved with Hef or anything, but they were in
- 34:13Speaker 4: Playboy a couple times.
- 34:14Speaker 2: And they would just get so much plastic surgery and
- 34:16Speaker 2: they were so skinny. And really big boobs. Yeah.
- 34:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 2: What happened to them? I don't know.
- 34:22Speaker 4: That's a good question.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Someone listening knows what's happened to them.
- 34:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Let us know. I just feel like those shows that
- 34:28Speaker 2: were on like at 7 at night, like every night,
- 34:32Speaker 2: like the hard copy, the extra, they must have paid
- 34:36Speaker 2: these weirdos to be on it all the time. Like
- 34:38Speaker 2: they must have been getting something out of it. I
- 34:40Speaker 2: feel like there was 10,000 stories on those Barbie twins.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you would think.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 4: But it was great publicity back then though because this
- 34:47Speaker 4: was back when there were only like– handful of channels.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Right, exactly. Well, you know the Courtney Stodden. She's the
- 34:56Speaker 2: young girl that married that actor. She came on my
- 34:59Speaker 2: show years ago and I was probably one of the
- 35:03Speaker 2: first interviews that she did after she was rid of
- 35:05Speaker 2: him and everything. And she was 16. She was a virgin.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Her parents signed off on her marrying this guy. She
- 35:15Speaker 2: had big natural boobs, so she looked a lot older
- 35:17Speaker 2: than she was. But I asked about that. And she goes, oh, no,
- 35:21Speaker 2: we got paid for that. We'd be paid all. He
- 35:24Speaker 2: was so he would constantly. And they always people were
- 35:29Speaker 2: so fascinated that he was like 51 and like this
- 35:32Speaker 2: character actor. And she was the 16 year old whose
- 35:35Speaker 2: parents signed off on it. But she looked like she
- 35:38Speaker 2: was 40 that they were like, that's what people want
- 35:41Speaker 2: to see. They would do another interview with them and
- 35:43Speaker 2: another interview with them and another. And it was like. Wow. Oh,
- 35:47Speaker 2: my God.
- 35:48Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 35:49Speaker 2: But it was because he was negotiating money. Oh, wow.
- 35:52Speaker 2: For them to be on it.
- 35:53Speaker 4: Yeah, like tabloid style.
- 35:54Speaker 2: That's crazy. I think there's going to be– I think
- 35:57Speaker 2: more and more we're going to see more stuff. Like
- 36:00Speaker 2: I feel like there's some sensational podcast guests and stuff
- 36:06Speaker 2: that are happening. And I'm like, how did they get
- 36:08Speaker 2: that one? I'm like, oh, I think someone just offered
- 36:10Speaker 2: them like 10 grand.
- 36:11Speaker 4: Probably, right?
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm like, it just doesn't make sense. Like,
- 36:14Speaker 2: if you're going to do one, why wouldn't you go for, like,
- 36:16Speaker 2: the biggest one out there or whatever? And I don't
- 36:19Speaker 2: really begrudge the person for going and being like, here's
- 36:22Speaker 2: 10 grand, do my show. And they don't have to
- 36:25Speaker 2: say anything. Why? You know, whatever.
- 36:28Speaker 4: But, like, I wonder how Gypsy Rose picked the interviews
- 36:31Speaker 4: she did.
- 36:32Speaker 2: With Nick? Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 4: I mean, it's a big show.
- 36:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 2: I know. This is what I think.
- 36:36Speaker 3: What?
- 36:41Speaker 2: I think he's taking a page out of Bethany's book
- 36:43Speaker 2: and I think he's going to help set up her
- 36:46Speaker 2: own podcast under his umbrella.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Oh, that makes sense.
- 36:49Speaker 2: That's my prediction.
- 36:50Speaker 4: That totally makes sense.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know how that's going to be, but.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 36:56Speaker 4: I mean, she's fascinating. She's so good at press.
- 37:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 4: For somebody who's just.
- 37:02Speaker 2: A murderer.
- 37:02Speaker 4: I mean, I guess it makes sense because for somebody
- 37:04Speaker 4: who's been in jail for so long. But I guess
- 37:06Speaker 4: it makes sense because her mom was always, you know,
- 37:08Speaker 4: pushing her out there to kind of be a spokesperson
- 37:11Speaker 4: for them, like on a local level and stuff. So
- 37:13Speaker 4: I guess it makes sense.
- 37:14Speaker 2: And also the mom, I mean, listen, if that's what
- 37:18Speaker 2: you're raised with. Like I remember I had a friend
- 37:21Speaker 2: whose mom was really attractive. And at a very young age,
- 37:26Speaker 2: she was like, I'm going to show you how you
- 37:28Speaker 2: get free dry cleaning. And she didn't. flirted with the
- 37:31Speaker 2: weird dry cleaner and she was like a single mom
- 37:34Speaker 2: and like just like yeah you might have a mom
- 37:36Speaker 2: that like cooks teaches you how to cook really well
- 37:39Speaker 2: and then there's moms that are like let me show
- 37:41Speaker 2: you how to get a guy and you know and
- 37:45Speaker 2: ha ha ha and you laugh lightly you know or
- 37:48Speaker 2: whatever and then I think there's ones that whatever those
- 37:52Speaker 2: manipulative traits are you might benefit from them in a
- 37:56Speaker 2: positive way, providing you're not doing Munchausen by proxy. But like, yeah, maybe.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Yeah, she handles herself really well. I feel like if
- 38:04Speaker 4: I were in her position, I'd be like a lump.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:08Speaker 4: I wouldn't be good at it.
- 38:09Speaker 2: No, I think she loves the attention. I mean, it
- 38:12Speaker 2: is kind of like the ultimate flex. You got a
- 38:14Speaker 2: guy to kill your mom. You went to prison. He's
- 38:17Speaker 2: going to spend the rest of life in prison. You're out.
- 38:20Speaker 2: But you didn't even marry that guy.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:23Speaker 2: You hadn't married somebody else.
- 38:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And you had like– she had so many guys writing
- 38:28Speaker 2: to her. Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 4: They seem like a cute couple now together. I like
- 38:31Speaker 4: their funny little– when she writes like the D is
- 38:34Speaker 4: fire on his.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Pictures and stuff.
- 38:37Speaker 4: It's cute.
- 38:37Speaker 2: We'll see. I don't– we'll see where she is in
- 38:42Speaker 2: a few months.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:44Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know if we're going to
- 38:46Speaker 2: want to hear the podcast for a year. I don't
- 38:49Speaker 2: know if we'll be over it in three months. It's
- 38:51Speaker 2: kind of interesting to see who lasts.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Yeah, it's interesting to see who the public attaches to.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I mean, originally I thought they'd go straight to OnlyFans.
- 39:00Speaker 2: But I don't think that's going to happen for a while.
- 39:06Speaker 2: But I like to predict what people are going to do.
- 39:08Speaker 2: It doesn't mean I'm going to be right.
- 39:09Speaker 4: No, I think you're good at predictions.
- 39:11Speaker 1: I do.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I really want to know what happened with these girls.
- 39:14Speaker 2: I would love to hear from them.
- 39:16Speaker 4: Yeah, me too. I think it'd be so interesting.
- 39:20Speaker 2: Okay. Now, this girl, I totally remember this story. This
- 39:24Speaker 2: has been a subject of, like, I think a lot
- 39:26Speaker 2: of datelines in 2020s.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Tell us about this Yeah, this is Paula Sleduski. She
- 39:30Speaker 4: posed for Playboy during the 50th anniversary Playmate Search, which
- 39:33Speaker 4: was done back in 2003. She later went on to
- 39:37Speaker 4: live in Miami, and she went out to a nightclub
- 39:39Speaker 4: with her boyfriend one night. They got in a fight
- 39:42Speaker 4: at the club, and club security kind of separated them,
- 39:44Speaker 4: and they let Paula go first and waited a few
- 39:47Speaker 4: minutes before they let the boyfriend out because they thought,
- 39:49Speaker 4: you know— They were helping in that way. But she
- 39:51Speaker 4: ended up out there by herself and was wandering around
- 39:54Speaker 4: this neighborhood trying to get home. And then later her
- 39:57Speaker 4: body was found horribly burned in a dumpster. And this
- 39:59Speaker 4: is still also an unsolved case.
- 40:02Speaker 2: So she was just trying to get in the magazine
- 40:06Speaker 2: as in the search thing. But it didn't really go anywhere, right?
- 40:13Speaker 4: No, she ended up being in one of the home
- 40:15Speaker 4: videos that they sell, which is kind of like a
- 40:16Speaker 4: compilation of the search thing.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:19Speaker 2: But of course, everyone's going to grab on that.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:21Speaker 2: But I remember with this story, which I thought was,
- 40:26Speaker 2: it just, yeah, it was like there was this couple
- 40:28Speaker 2: and it was very interesting because they were like this
- 40:31Speaker 2: hot kind of, he was like a muscly guy and
- 40:33Speaker 2: she was a hot guy and then kind of cheesy
- 40:35Speaker 2: a little bit. And they go to like, you know,
- 40:38Speaker 2: their New Year's Eve and they're going to this hot
- 40:40Speaker 2: nightclub and they're fighting and then she's like, fuck you.
- 40:44Speaker 2: But it's like, this is all before. Like, when I
- 40:46Speaker 2: think about How scary and how hard– how many women
- 40:51Speaker 2: in my age and around my– were, like, stuck at
- 40:54Speaker 2: places and not safe because there was no phone with
- 40:57Speaker 2: an Uber and a Lyft.
- 40:59Speaker 4: Yeah, we forget how new Uber is. You know, before Uber,
- 41:03Speaker 4: you were screwed.
- 41:04Speaker 2: You were so screwed. First of all, so hard to
- 41:06Speaker 2: find a cab, especially in L.A. You know, this isn't
- 41:09Speaker 2: New York. And then– so you– I remember, like, trying to, like,
- 41:13Speaker 2: find a phone, call information for a cab service. Try
- 41:18Speaker 2: to get a cab to come to a residential area.
- 41:20Speaker 4: Takes forever.
- 41:21Speaker 2: I mean, if you went back to, like, someone's house
- 41:24Speaker 2: after a nightclub, you are screwed.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Yeah, you're really stuck. Especially, like, up in the hills.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 5: 100%.
- 41:32Speaker 2: There was some story. I can't remember if that was
- 41:33Speaker 2: someone was telling me or maybe it was just– it
- 41:35Speaker 2: was one of those– oh, I know. It was one
- 41:38Speaker 2: of the stories involving Danny Masterson. Oh, yeah. Who's now
- 41:43Speaker 2: in prison. Who– there were all these accounts of him–
- 41:47Speaker 2: you know, drugging girls and raping them. And there was
- 41:50Speaker 2: a story, maybe I did see it on a girl
- 41:52Speaker 2: on TikTok, where it was she and her friend and
- 41:57Speaker 2: they went back to the night, from the nightclub back
- 41:59Speaker 2: to his house and the Masterson girlfriend was there. Oh,
- 42:03Speaker 2: the girl that, he's not married to Chyna Phillips. He's
- 42:07Speaker 2: married to Bijou. Bijou Phillips, yeah. Yeah. And they were just,
- 42:11Speaker 2: I think they were not married at the time, but
- 42:13Speaker 2: it was like that 70s show, the height of it.
- 42:16Speaker 2: And they're like drinking and they're just like cool. Cause
- 42:19Speaker 2: they're like, Oh my God, I can't believe we're at
- 42:20Speaker 2: this guy's house. Like, let's just, you know, have the
- 42:22Speaker 2: story to tell. And all of a sudden the girl
- 42:25Speaker 2: telling TikTok story, like looks over and the girl is like, like,
- 42:29Speaker 2: she's like, how the hell did she get that fucked
- 42:31Speaker 2: up or whatever? And, and she's like, I'm going to
- 42:33Speaker 2: go to the bathroom. And she like gets up and
- 42:35Speaker 2: then the Masterson guy goes and somehow she intercepted whatever
- 42:41Speaker 2: was going to happen. And then the Bijou Phillips, according
- 42:45Speaker 2: to this girl, Got really mad at him. Like, are
- 42:47Speaker 2: you fucking doing this again?
- 42:50Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Yeah, like that type of thing. And so then they
- 42:52Speaker 2: were like, we're going to leave. And they're like up
- 42:54Speaker 2: in the hills above sunset, right? Yeah. And the phone
- 42:58Speaker 2: is dead. But there's also no Uber or anything. And
- 43:01Speaker 2: they literally just had to like sit on the curb
- 43:04Speaker 2: in the cold.
- 43:05Speaker 4: And it's confusing to get down from the hills. too
- 43:07Speaker 4: like those windy streets like and they.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Just sat there the girl like passed out in the
- 43:12Speaker 2: mud and the other girl like stayed there and they
- 43:15Speaker 2: and then by the luck of God some cab just
- 43:20Speaker 2: literally drove by like dropping someone else off at 6am
- 43:23Speaker 2: and they got in the cab and were okay that's
- 43:26Speaker 2: the worst but I just yeah I just don't even
- 43:28Speaker 2: it's such a common thing though I know I know
- 43:30Speaker 2: that people think like it's scary that we get into
- 43:32Speaker 2: Ubers and you know and you have to be careful
- 43:34Speaker 2: of that but let me tell you the Uber Lyft
- 43:36Speaker 2: world is one billion times safer.
- 43:40Speaker 4: So much better than what was before.
- 43:42Speaker 2: You're in the back seat. You have your phone. I'm
- 43:45Speaker 2: not saying you still, bad things don't happen to you.
- 43:48Speaker 2: But like, the whole system is so much better that
- 43:52Speaker 2: you can just leave when you want to leave. You
- 43:55Speaker 2: don't have to have cash on you. You don't have
- 43:57Speaker 2: to have a credit card on you. You just have
- 43:59Speaker 2: to have your phone charged.
- 44:02Speaker 5: Yes.
- 44:03Speaker 4: So much better. Yeah, people don't know the struggle. These
- 44:06Speaker 4: kids these days don't know the struggle.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Of just the weird situations.
- 44:10Speaker 4: Yeah, the places you'd get stuck.
- 44:11Speaker 2: And then they never, so they never found this girl
- 44:14Speaker 2: because they said, yeah, there was different suspects. But then
- 44:17Speaker 2: he was obviously a suspect being the boyfriend. Yeah, they
- 44:21Speaker 2: did look at the boyfriend. And because they had this
- 44:22Speaker 2: volatile relationship. And how scary that must be.
- 44:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:26Speaker 2: That like, you know, ugh. Like that all of a
- 44:32Speaker 2: sudden your spouse is something after your girlfriend and like
- 44:35Speaker 2: you're of course the person.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Okay, this one was like, this one was from a
- 44:41Speaker 2: while back. This girl, Victoria, tell us about her. She
- 44:46Speaker 2: was a playmate from like the late 60s, right?
- 44:49Speaker 4: Yeah, she was a playmate in the late 60s. She
- 44:51Speaker 4: went by the name Angela Dory, and then she was
- 44:52Speaker 4: a playmate of the year. And she was close friends
- 44:55Speaker 4: with Sharon Tate, and she was really traumatized when the
- 44:57Speaker 4: Manson murders happened. And it was always kind of something
- 45:00Speaker 4: that was in the back of her head, like, This
- 45:01Speaker 4: could happen to me. Somebody gave her a gun to
- 45:04Speaker 4: protect herself. Just to remind people, like Sharon Tate was.
- 45:07Speaker 2: This beautiful actress.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Sorry, I'm just assuming everybody knows.
- 45:08Speaker 2: She was a beautiful actress, but young. And she was
- 45:13Speaker 2: pregnant with Roman Polanski's child, which Roman Polanski was accused
- 45:21Speaker 2: of raping a 13-year-old girl in which he was then
- 45:26Speaker 2: left the country. And he's never come back.
- 45:29Speaker 4: No, I think he's still in France.
- 45:30Speaker 2: And then that case is really weird because that woman is...
- 45:34Speaker 2: I don't know, like changed her story or come, I
- 45:36Speaker 2: don't know. I don't know if.
- 45:37Speaker 4: She's changed her story. I got the impression she's just
- 45:39Speaker 4: kind of tired of being known as only that and
- 45:42Speaker 4: wants to move on, I think, and just.
- 45:43Speaker 2: Wants to let it go. I mean, that is why
- 45:45Speaker 2: people don't speak up sometimes because they're like, this was
- 45:49Speaker 2: so horrible. I don't want to go through this, you know?
- 45:52Speaker 2: And then he's this rich, powerful director and all he
- 45:55Speaker 2: had to do was leave. But at the time, that
- 45:57Speaker 2: happened after the love of his life, I assume, Sharon
- 46:01Speaker 2: Tate and was this very promising actress, beautiful, perfect faith.
- 46:07Speaker 2: And she had these friends over and they were staying
- 46:10Speaker 2: at the house off of Laurel. And Charles Manson and
- 46:15Speaker 2: his weird group, he had gone there already and he
- 46:18Speaker 2: believed that this record producer that blew him off because
- 46:21Speaker 2: he thought he wanted to be like the next Beatles.
- 46:25Speaker 2: So he was, and one day when she was there,
- 46:28Speaker 2: he showed up when she was visiting Sharon and And
- 46:31Speaker 2: he was looking for the record producer. They're like, he
- 46:33Speaker 2: doesn't live here. And that guy's creepy. Then he got
- 46:38Speaker 2: his weird cult following guys and girls to go to
- 46:41Speaker 2: that house, told them you need to go kill those
- 46:45Speaker 2: people in the house. And they did. And that was
- 46:48Speaker 2: Sharon Tate Wall, eight months pregnant and her friends. And
- 46:52Speaker 2: so there was a very good chance that this girl, Victoria,
- 46:56Speaker 2: could have been there but wasn't that night. She wasn't
- 47:00Speaker 2: feeling well or something. And I think that's something that
- 47:03Speaker 2: can really screw you up. The person that, like, doesn't
- 47:07Speaker 2: get on the plane or they have the survivor's guilt.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Yeah, survivor's guilt, for sure.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Yeah, like when the plane crashes, they need a plane.
- 47:13Speaker 2: And in some ways you can be like, oh, my God,
- 47:15Speaker 2: you know, God put– there's some great purpose for me,
- 47:19Speaker 2: you know, some divine intervention. But then there's this other
- 47:22Speaker 2: part I think that really screws you up where– or–
- 47:26Speaker 2: and then in her case she thought that somehow maybe
- 47:28Speaker 2: they'd be after her.
- 47:30Speaker 4: Yeah, so she always had a gun because of that
- 47:32Speaker 4: to protect herself. But later in life, she ended up
- 47:35Speaker 4: shooting her husband. And luckily, he didn't pass away. He's
- 47:39Speaker 4: still with us.
- 47:40Speaker 2: But in that one, when I was reading the stuff,
- 47:44Speaker 2: it was like, you know, she went on. She still
- 47:47Speaker 2: went to a lot of things. And she was still
- 47:49Speaker 2: kind of like one of those like the best 50,
- 47:52Speaker 2: you know, the 50 greatest. So she was like doing–
- 47:54Speaker 2: it sounds like she was posing nude like probably late
- 47:57Speaker 2: into her 30s, which was kind of unheard of back then.
- 48:01Speaker 2: But then she like met this guy. Then it sounds
- 48:02Speaker 2: like they were sort of like not killing it in life.
- 48:05Speaker 2: He had some drug issues and she was like a waitress.
- 48:10Speaker 2: And in her– in this case that she– the husband
- 48:14Speaker 2: was shot and she tried to say it was like
- 48:16Speaker 2: a drug– like a drug dealer thing. But what– did
- 48:20Speaker 2: she ever do time?
- 48:21Speaker 4: I believe she did do time. She's out now.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Because she did shoot him in a weird– yeah.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Like, I just think there's such fascination, like, with just, like,
- 48:35Speaker 2: the beauty goes away and.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Yeah, and I think there can just be a lot of,
- 48:41Speaker 4: you know, mental health issues that come from being involved
- 48:44Speaker 4: in such a high-stakes world where kind of your only
- 48:47Speaker 4: value is the way you look and things like that.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and then just the beauty and, like, getting gifts
- 48:53Speaker 2: and all that kind of stuff. And, like, when you
- 48:57Speaker 2: were there, like... Would you get many presents?
- 49:02Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, we would for holidays and things like that.
- 49:04Speaker 2: But it would all be like evened out?
- 49:07Speaker 4: Like as far as the girls all getting things?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Like everybody would get.
- 49:09Speaker 4: Yeah, everybody got the same thing. It was very like
- 49:12Speaker 4: even Stevens. And it wouldn't be enough so you ever
- 49:15Speaker 4: felt like you were so, you know, rolling in it
- 49:18Speaker 4: financially that you felt really freed. leave, you know?
- 49:21Speaker 2: Right, because it's like with girls that are, like, in
- 49:23Speaker 2: a transactional kind of relationship like that, oftentimes, you know,
- 49:28Speaker 2: they do try to get the real Birkins and the
- 49:34Speaker 2: real Cartier because it's like that's their only security. And
- 49:38Speaker 2: I knew a girl– that lived like that for many years.
- 49:42Speaker 2: And she really did try to make this relationship work.
- 49:45Speaker 2: And then, you know, he was volatile and everything. And
- 49:47Speaker 2: when she went to go leave, she wanted to come
- 49:52Speaker 2: back and get her shit. And he had taken it.
- 49:55Speaker 2: And that was like her only security for all those years.
- 49:58Speaker 2: She was not on a property or anything.
- 50:02Speaker 4: I think that must have been what it felt like
- 50:03Speaker 4: in the Sandy Bentley case because she was getting all
- 50:05Speaker 4: these lavish gifts from this man thinking, okay, these are
- 50:08Speaker 4: mine now. So if she had any other money saved,
- 50:11Speaker 4: who knows? She might have spent that. And then when
- 50:12Speaker 4: they come and say that was actually bought with stolen money,
- 50:16Speaker 4: that can be scary because you don't have anything left.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Or even like Erika Jayne on The Lost of Beverly Hills.
- 50:22Speaker 2: That was a very transactional marriage. And she said, please,
- 50:27Speaker 2: I'm not going to have a You know, I never
- 50:29Speaker 2: had a prenup. I'm dealing with Tom Girardi. She knew
- 50:33Speaker 2: she was fucked. She knew even if she wanted to
- 50:37Speaker 2: get divorced, she would be fucked. So in my opinion,
- 50:40Speaker 2: in everything I've read, and I've read her book, and
- 50:42Speaker 2: I've interviewed her, and I've watched every episode, I think
- 50:45Speaker 2: that after 10 years, she was like, I think she tried.
- 50:49Speaker 2: I think she was into it. And she was, you know,
- 50:52Speaker 2: and then after 10 years, she just kind of was like,
- 50:54Speaker 2: you can screw whoever you want. Yeah. I'm going to
- 50:57Speaker 2: pursue this other career. And he was like, you spend,
- 51:00Speaker 2: you could have this credit card and she spent it.
- 51:03Speaker 2: And I mean, she really doesn't have anything to show
- 51:09Speaker 2: from those 20 years that she hasn't now built herself
- 51:13Speaker 2: in the last five.
- 51:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:14Speaker 4: I mean, thank God she went on the show though.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Cause now she, now she has that lifeline.
- 51:18Speaker 2: And he, and I asked, I was like, why do
- 51:20Speaker 2: you think he would want her on the show when
- 51:22Speaker 2: he's doing this corrupt stuff? Yeah.
- 51:25Speaker 4: And, um, I don't think they ever think it's going
- 51:27Speaker 4: to come out.
- 51:28Speaker 2: They never do. That's the narcissistic way. They just think
- 51:31Speaker 2: they're smart. And he thought, well, this will just get
- 51:34Speaker 2: me more business. There's a lot of people that don't
- 51:37Speaker 2: associate me with Aaron Brockovich or don't know. You know,
- 51:40Speaker 2: so he thought, oh, this will be great. You know,
- 51:42Speaker 2: and this was the trophy. But it was interesting when
- 51:47Speaker 2: you look back and then he was like, let me finish.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Let me finish, Erica. Like, it was just like a
- 51:53Speaker 2: crotchety dick thing. And she just was like, whatever, I'm
- 51:56Speaker 2: just going to, you know. Yeah, it's so rude. Get
- 52:00Speaker 2: my jewels and whatever. But I mean.
- 52:02Speaker 4: But in that power dynamic, you're kind of stuck with it.
- 52:04Speaker 2: It sucks. I know. What's that saying? Like anybody that
- 52:07Speaker 2: marries for money works hard. It's the hardest job. Like
- 52:12Speaker 2: you'll never work harder if that's the reason because you're
- 52:15Speaker 2: in this weird. I do. I do.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I do think when you agree to it, it is
- 52:20Speaker 2: a different. Dynamic. Yeah. You get all the stuff, but
- 52:24Speaker 2: you just don't have the say or like you're catering
- 52:28Speaker 2: to this person.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 52:33Speaker 4: It's 24 hours. You're kind of watching your back and
- 52:35Speaker 4: making sure you're always doing the right things.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Now, what about Crystal Hefter? Have you read her book?
- 52:43Speaker 4: It's not out yet, I don't think.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Oh, okay. I've been following her and I'm asked her
- 52:48Speaker 2: to come on the show and she doesn't, it doesn't respond.
- 52:51Speaker 2: But I think she's saving it for herself. I think
- 52:53Speaker 2: she's doing her own show.
- 52:55Speaker 4: I don't know. I unfollowed her. I was talking to
- 52:57Speaker 4: her for a while. I was interested in hearing her
- 52:59Speaker 4: story because she said some things before that I really
- 53:01Speaker 4: resonated with. But then she started getting like really rude
- 53:04Speaker 4: and mean to Bridget on her Instagram stories for no reason.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Like they don't even talk. And I'm like, I can't
- 53:10Speaker 4: follow her anymore. I can't do this junior high shit.
- 53:13Speaker 2: What do you mean? Like she was trying to say
- 53:14Speaker 2: stuff back?
- 53:16Speaker 4: Not even say stuff back because Bridget wasn't even saying
- 53:18Speaker 4: anything about her, but she would do these Q &
- 53:20Speaker 4: As on her Instagram story. And as we all know,
- 53:22Speaker 4: Q & As are often curated. You know, if you
- 53:24Speaker 4: want to say something, wait for somebody to ask you
- 53:27Speaker 4: that question.
- 53:28Speaker 2: No, I don't really know that. Really? But now that
- 53:31Speaker 2: makes sense that you say that.
- 53:32Speaker 4: I feel like people do that all the time.
- 53:33Speaker 2: You know what? I've had some drama in my own life. life,
- 53:39Speaker 2: which I've joked about, and I'm like, I want off
- 53:41Speaker 2: on The Real Housewives of Podcasting because I don't enjoy it.
- 53:44Speaker 2: I really don't.
- 53:45Speaker 4: I wore hoops, by the way, because I'm on stream.
- 53:49Speaker 2: But I really don't enjoy it. And it's funny that
- 53:51Speaker 2: fans sometimes think it is curated. I'm like, I wish
- 53:56Speaker 2: it was that we got into a room and decided
- 53:58Speaker 2: to do this together. So I think that never happens.
- 54:02Speaker 2: But I do think there's certain people... that will leave
- 54:07Speaker 2: a nasty comment under a post. As bait. As bait.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Knowing that like a reality blurb or something will grab that,
- 54:15Speaker 2: make that a story.
- 54:16Speaker 4: They can run back to Reddit.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Yeah, now there's a fight. Now you're responding. And because I...
- 54:24Speaker 2: But I personally don't like that. To me, it stresses
- 54:28Speaker 2: me out and it's not how I run being a
- 54:32Speaker 2: stand-up comic or what I do with this show. And so, unfortunately,
- 54:37Speaker 2: now that I'm kind of hyper-aware of it, even when
- 54:40Speaker 2: somebody's like, oh, this so-and-so said this about you on
- 54:43Speaker 2: their podcast, I'm like, Sometimes I'll go listen, but I'm like,
- 54:47Speaker 2: I don't want to respond because then it's like now
- 54:50Speaker 2: I have the, you know, the micro influencers doing a
- 54:53Speaker 2: thing about it and that they're never. And I'm like,
- 54:56Speaker 2: and I'm not going to just keep like defending myself.
- 54:58Speaker 2: So that I never thought about with the Q &
- 55:00Speaker 2: A thing because I've never done the Q & A
- 55:02Speaker 2: thing on the Instagram. So meaning like you have someone.
- 55:07Speaker 2: or you tell your assistant to go, like, ask the question,
- 55:10Speaker 2: or you can put the question up.
- 55:11Speaker 4: People could do that, or maybe you know it's something
- 55:12Speaker 4: out there people are talking about, and you want to
- 55:15Speaker 4: respond to it, but so it seems less out of pocket.
- 55:17Speaker 4: You just ask your fans, ask me a question, and
- 55:19Speaker 4: hopefully somebody asks it. Or you could ask yourself, I guess.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Oh, and then get that drama going.
- 55:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:25Speaker 4: So then she started saying just things that were very
- 55:28Speaker 4: hurtful to Bridget, like saying, well, Hef never asked about her.
- 55:30Speaker 4: Hef never wanted to see her before he died, and
- 55:33Speaker 4: things like that. And, you know, Hef told me that
- 55:35Speaker 4: those relationships weren't, weren't even significant in his life and
- 55:39Speaker 4: just like really rude, hurtful shit. And I just unfollowed
- 55:43Speaker 4: because I don't want to do this junior high BS.
- 55:47Speaker 1: No.
- 55:47Speaker 4: I'm just like.
- 55:49Speaker 2: But the one reason that you kind of connected with
- 55:51Speaker 2: her is that she was like, I found all the photos.
- 55:56Speaker 2: Some of the photos... right? What was the story there?
- 55:58Speaker 4: Yeah, we did connect over that. I was expressing my
- 56:00Speaker 4: concern on Secrets of Playboy and saying that one of
- 56:03Speaker 4: the many reasons I kind of felt like I didn't
- 56:05Speaker 4: want to leave when I was at the mansion is
- 56:07Speaker 4: you have all these kind of naked photos of yourself,
- 56:10Speaker 4: candid photos from the bedroom. You were wasted. You don't
- 56:13Speaker 4: remember taking them. And he puts them all in his scrapbook.
- 56:16Speaker 4: And then years later, I found out he wants to
- 56:18Speaker 4: donate those scrapbooks to a library.
- 56:19Speaker 2: I'm just imagining like a scrapbook like... Of disgusting pictures. No,
- 56:23Speaker 2: but like, In my day, when we were before, like, iPhones.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Are you picturing, like, stickers and, like, the cutouts?
- 56:29Speaker 2: Yeah, there were women that would literally sell, like, a
- 56:32Speaker 2: multi-level marketing packaging of scrapbooking. Yeah. And I am, like,
- 56:36Speaker 2: totally not crafty. I'm not a Michaels person. I'm horrible
- 56:39Speaker 2: at art. I don't frame photos. I never did it. But, like,
- 56:43Speaker 2: I'm imagining, like, the cutters of the circle. Like, here
- 56:48Speaker 2: we are. Okay. So go on. Yeah.
- 56:50Speaker 4: No, his were very basic. It was just, like, a picture, picture,
- 56:52Speaker 4: and then names and things like that. So it's kind
- 56:55Speaker 4: of gross to know that. It's very revenge porn, like so.
- 56:58Speaker 5: Many of these women.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Yes, the old-fashioned revenge porn.
- 57:01Speaker 4: Yeah, and there's so many of these women who were
- 57:03Speaker 4: coming to test for Playmate who maybe never became a
- 57:05Speaker 4: Playmate or a girlfriend or nothing ever came out of it.
- 57:07Speaker 4: And they have their explicit photos that maybe they were
- 57:11Speaker 4: wasted and don't even remember taking with their name on
- 57:13Speaker 4: it in the book that he wants to put in
- 57:15Speaker 4: the public library.
- 57:16Speaker 2: That's gross. What do you mean public library?
- 57:18Speaker 4: Well, he wants to, like, donate it to a library.
- 57:20Speaker 4: That's what he wanted to do. UCLA has them now.
- 57:24Speaker 4: They're just not, like, on display. I'd sue if they
- 57:27Speaker 4: went on display, swear to God.
- 57:28Speaker 2: Wait a minute. UCLA has some of the actual, like—
- 57:32Speaker 2: All of them. I think. I'm pretty sure. So then
- 57:35Speaker 2: there were other ones that were even more explicit that
- 57:38Speaker 2: were not put in the scrapbook that then she says
- 57:41Speaker 2: that she took and threw away or something?
- 57:43Speaker 4: Well, explicit ones were, but he had multiple copies of
- 57:46Speaker 4: all these photos too. And he had this third story
- 57:49Speaker 4: room in– third story of the house, but it was
- 57:51Speaker 4: the second story of his bedroom. There was a staircase
- 57:53Speaker 4: that went up to it. And it was just like
- 57:55Speaker 4: a hoarder mess of like all this extra scrapbooking stuff.
- 57:58Speaker 4: So you would literally have mountains of of prints from
- 58:01Speaker 4: like his disposable camera and things like that. So I
- 58:03Speaker 4: believe that's what she meant when she threw those out.
- 58:06Speaker 4: I don't think she went through his scrapbook archive and
- 58:09Speaker 4: took out the ones that are not really cool to have.
- 58:13Speaker 2: Oh. Yeah.
- 58:13Speaker 4: That's what I think.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Well, okay, so let's talk a little bit about this
- 58:19Speaker 2: Epstein stuff that's coming out.
- 58:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that is so... And do we have any details
- 58:24Speaker 4: besides what the victims have come forward, like what was
- 58:26Speaker 4: going on with these?
- 58:27Speaker 2: Well, what I've always said from the beginning of covering
- 58:30Speaker 2: this stuff is I was like, I've always thought that
- 58:36Speaker 2: the way... Because no one knew how Epstein got so rich.
- 58:40Speaker 2: He was... A math teacher that didn't even graduate from
- 58:43Speaker 2: college that, like, faked his records to work at a
- 58:46Speaker 2: private school, okay? Which sometimes private schools are not as
- 58:49Speaker 2: strict as who they hire or whatever. So, you know,
- 58:53Speaker 2: and he was young, probably, you know, liking the high
- 58:57Speaker 2: school students, whatever. And then he gets into, like, finance.
- 59:01Speaker 2: And then he's running the Victoria's Secret guy's money. And
- 59:05Speaker 2: then he was always getting more money from people. And
- 59:08Speaker 2: nobody really knew why. he was so wealthy. And I
- 59:11Speaker 2: always thought, I think he invites these people to his parties.
- 59:17Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, I've got young girls around, whatever.
- 59:19Speaker 2: And then has a wild party with And then the
- 59:24Speaker 2: next day is like, oh, by the way, the girl
- 59:26Speaker 2: that gave you a blowjob last night is actually only 16. Yeah.
- 59:30Speaker 2: She's not 18. And on top of that, I filmed it.
- 59:35Speaker 2: So I hope you're going to donate $ 5 million today. Like,
- 59:39Speaker 2: I think that's what I've always thought.
- 59:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:41Speaker 2: And that is what I've heard now is finally coming
- 59:44Speaker 2: to fruition in getting all this information, which the mainstream
- 59:48Speaker 2: media has. is constantly like, if they do anything about it,
- 59:51Speaker 2: they're like, and this person was on the flight log
- 59:55Speaker 2: 800 times, and all these people are saying this is
- 59:59Speaker 2: what he said, but again, not accused of anything. We're
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: not accusing you. I get why they're saying that, but
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: I'm still like, okay, so what is it? What do
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: you have on these videos? Because I assume that's what
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: it is, is that I think some guys came knowing
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: that they were going to get with young girls. And
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: then I think some just thought that they were– Free vacation.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Free vacation. And I think some thought these were just
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: party girls like the kind that you'd be at Playboy
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Mansion that are young but they're not 16. Yeah. And
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: we're going to have some fun and it's consensual or whatever.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: But it's not because they're being trafficked and they're forced
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: to be there. And so I think that's what hopefully
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: we're going to finally find out. But the Stephen Hawking
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: thing is so strange.
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: So what I heard most recently was someone was saying–
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: that Stephen Hawking liked to watch naked little people solve
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: math equations on a blackboard. And I'm like, but I mean,
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: I don't mean to make light of it if it's true,
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: but that sounds like something somebody would almost say sarcastically, right?
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: Like if you're being questioned, like, well, what was Stephen
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Hawking doing on your island? Oh, I don't know. Maybe
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: he was watching naked little people solve math equations. Like,
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: do you think that's real, or do you think he
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: was being sarcastic? It's so out there.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Well, I mean, there are these accounts that he was
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: a freakadink, okay?
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: He's been getting a lot of press lately.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: For people that don't know, he is this genius, but
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: he was severely handicapped, and I don't know what his
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: thing was, but he would, you know, he was confined
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: to a wheelchair, and he would have the thing that
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: would do— he was able to have talks, so it sounded
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: that way. I don't even know what his geniusness is,
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: but— Here's a photo of him on Epstein Island where
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: they said, enjoys a barbecue on Jeffrey Epstein's Caribbean island,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: Little St. James, while attending a conference on gravity organized
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: for 21 of the world's top physicists by Epstein's Foundation
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: on neighboring island St. Thomas. So he would have all these, again, parties.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: And I think also he– Along with trafficking young girls
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: and being a horrible, disgusting person, Jeffrey Epstein, he was
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: always involved with all these science. And along with his science,
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: he wanted to impregnate all these women in– he was
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: building this thing in New Mexico.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Do you remember that story where he was going to
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: like– Well, I heard Peter Nygaard had something to do
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: with that too. Did you watch the Peter Nygaard documentary?
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Now, remind us of that story. There's so much.
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: He was a fashion guy from Canada who got in
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: a lot of trouble for similar things.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: And he, yeah, and they, were they, and they, no,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: so they were not connected, him or Epstein, or were they?
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Not that I know of. I just remember.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: So many creeps in the last few years.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: I can't keep track of them. There was, I just
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: remember watching on the Peter Nygaard documentary, there was some
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: footage of him talking with a friend about how they
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: wanted to, like, make all these like genetically superior humans
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: or something. It was really weird.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Yes. And it was so, yeah. And I just still,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: I'm like, where, I just don't understand where Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: like why she didn't share more, like why she is
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: going to be in prison forever, like forever. And it's
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: just crazy that I mean, listen, she's a piece of shit.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: She's an awful, disgusting person. And I think she's truly
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: the coyote that, you know, plays with the puppy and
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: makes him think that he's a dog. And then the
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: rest of the coyotes come and kill him. Like, that
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: is who a woman trafficker is. Yeah, 100%. A woman
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: female trafficker is, you know, and there's... It's so disgusting
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: to think that there's any of them, but they exist
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: a lot. And she was one of them. And I
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: think for her... Like everyone was– I kept thinking, well,
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: you know, they had her before her trial staying in
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: very poor conditions in a prison. And I'm like, aren't
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: they getting her to like spill the beans?
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: But then I don't know. There's just so many cover-ups
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: and stuff. And I'm like, maybe she did spill the beans.
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: Maybe we just don't know.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: And it was the wrong bean. And they're like, no,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: we don't want him. We actually want him. So unless
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: your story lines up with this person, we really don't
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: even want to hear about this person. I don't know.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: But it seems like there were– A lot of powerful
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: people from all sides of the political spectrum, including the royals,
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: that are involved in this. And, like, I just want
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: to know it all. And then meanwhile, while this is
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: going on and every article is like, oh, wow, we
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: got more info. But they don't tell us the info.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: And then they're like, by the way, there's, like, aliens
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: in Miami.
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like speaking of aliens, it's like when Tucker
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: Carlson always goes on these shows and says he knows
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: the whole alien thing, but he can't tell anybody because
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: it would blow everybody's mind.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: Tell us.
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: Why are you bragging that you know and you're not
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: telling us? That drives me up a wall.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Yeah, like exactly.
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: You can't throw out the bait and not reel it in.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Or even if it's a sub girl on TikTok that's like.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Let me tell you about the worst celebrity that I dated.
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and then all the comments are like names or
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: it didn't happen.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Yeah, or like what– like again, like it's just so annoying.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: I get it why sometimes you can't obviously, but we
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: want to know about the aliens.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Yeah, and I want to– I'm like when can we
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: actually– when can we see these, you know, providing– like
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: if there's really video of like– president getting a BJ
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: from a girl that we can prove was under 18
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: at the time. And it's saying, yes, I was trafficked.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: I did this to this president. This was the day.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: This is my ID. Why can't we know that now?
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: It's so weird. What is this?
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: So strange.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Because it's like, I really think it's interesting because Matt Murphy,
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: who's a friend of mine, he's a former prosecutor. And
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: I just saw a little clip on his Instagram of
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: him talking about this. He's like the people that associated
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: with Epstein, like before 2008, that's when he was actually caught.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: And for these like girls that were like 14 living
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: in the town over and they were all like, they
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: were poor girls and they would say to each other, like, Come.
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: Give him a massage.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Yeah, come give him a massage. You get $ 200, and
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: it's really not that bad. He's like an old creep,
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: but it's really not that bad. And, like, we get $ 200.
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: We get $ 250, whatever. They were young. And when that
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: all got cracked open, then— and he got some ridiculous sentence
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: where he would just go to the prison, like, on
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: the weekends from, like, 8 to 5. After that is
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: when people— he was having dinner parties, and celebrities were going.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: That's creepy. And it's like Google existed.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: Yeah, totally.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: The news existed, but you still chose to go.
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: Yeah, that's gross.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: And again, you know, maybe you, I forgive someone once
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: for being like, okay, I was new, you know, I'm
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: just getting invited to some A-list shit. Yeah. you know,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Katie Kirk invited me. Next thing I know, we're at
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Jeffrey Epstein's house.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Or this random guy asked to take a picture with
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: me and I didn't really know him, you know?
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: I mean, like Chelsea Handler tells us, tells a story.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: And I remember she told it when we were working
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: together and, and it was that whoever she was with,
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: it was Katie Kirk or somebody said, would you want
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: to go to this, you know, Jeffrey Epstein's house? And,
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: I don't know if she even put it together at
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: the time. And then she sat next to Woody Allen
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: and Woody Allen's daughter was there. And her famous joke
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: that she would tell is that she said to Woody Allen, oh,
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: and how did you two meet? Because that was just.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: It's a really good story.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: It's a really good. I don't know if it really
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: happened that way, but it's a great joke. And she
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: told it years ago and she's told it recently. Now,
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: there's these logs. that I don't really know if they're true.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: And there's just all these names and they're going around.
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: And I'm like, but did she really go? I think
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: that's the only time she went. And I'm like, did
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: she really go to the island? And she and Jimmy
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Kimmel and Whoopi Goldberg are all being like, we did
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: not hang out with Jeffrey Epstein. And there's no proof
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: to that. But there's all this other proof. So show that.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Show these videotapes and things. It's just so annoying.
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it's really weird.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: And I'm like, and the alien thing is just like,
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: I don't even know. So I guess the theory is
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: that aliens do exist or they don't, or they're faking
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: stuff to make it look like aliens are coming down
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: to distract us from all of this. That could be.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Like the submarine thing that explodes.
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I mean, now that it's been a few months, let's
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: just think about how fucking weird that was. Right. That
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: was controlled.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: By like a video game controller.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: Yeah. The biggest billionaires, some of the biggest billionaires in
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the world decided to go on that.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: Rinky dink.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's weird. And I think there was something else
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: going on in the world at that time that was
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: like– Yeah, I forget.
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: What it is, but you're right.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: It was a big distraction because that was all it
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: was talking about. And they're like, oh, my gosh, they
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: have 12 more hours before they all die. And then
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: they prove that if this was even true, it exploded
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: like– or they were probably all dead hour, you know,
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: days before it exploded. But then there is a woman
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: that's like, no, my son is dead. And he was part,
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: I don't know. It's just like, it's very, it's a
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: very interesting time. And I'm not, it is weird. And
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: I don't think it makes you a conspiracy theorist or
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: whatever to watch this stuff and question it too. I
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: don't know that it's true. You know, like, I don't
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: know that it's, I don't know that there's aliens. I've
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: never seen one.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. I kind of want to. I mean,
- 1:10:13Speaker 4: I heard it's awful, but I.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Kind of want to. Didn't they find someone that's like
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: a little– there was a little one in Mexico or something.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: They found like some– A little alien? Yeah, they found
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: their tomb. They found these like buried bodies that are
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: not– Oh, was that real? Who knows? I saw a
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: really funny TikTok of yours where you were talking about
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: how you're freaked out by the baby dolls. Oh, the
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: real baby dolls.
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: OK, so first, before I talk about it, I have
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: to acknowledge that there are people who love these baby
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: dolls and they are used, I think, sometimes for therapy
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: for people who are grieving. So acknowledge that like you're
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: not weird if you like the baby doll. But I
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: think the baby dolls themselves and the fact that they're
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: mass produced is weird because they.
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: Now they're mass produced? I always thought they were like
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: a hard thing. I don't know. Aren't they very expensive?
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: They're probably expensive.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: But I think anybody can get them. Like I think
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: there's like hobbyists and stuff who like collect them. But
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: these baby dolls, if you don't know, look like a
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: real baby. They're so realistic.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: They're like their hair isn't perfect. They're a little blotchy. Yeah.
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: And I feel like if I saw one even across
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: the room and it was like laying where I think
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: it was a real baby that somebody dropped.
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: It's terrifying.
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: Or like what happens when somebody's like, oh, I don't
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: need this anymore.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: Goodwill bag.
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: Like what if you found that?
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: What if you found one in the garbage?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: I'm so freaked out by those. I'm freaked out.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Yes. Freaked out.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: I can't deal.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: I can't deal. And then people in the comments were saying, oh, yeah,
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: you know, we get calls like I work at the
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: police station or whatever. We get calls because people find
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: these and they think it's a real baby in the dumpster. Scary.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Oh, really? Terrifying. Yeah. Oh, my God. Yeah. I always
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: thought that was a really weird.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: Anytime I see like a TikTok of one come up, I'm.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Like, I don't want to see it.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Yeah. You know, it is crazy.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: I mean. I thought that was really funny how you
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: were just like, I'm really freaked out by it. Anyway, well,
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: this was really juicy. I don't know what Stephen Hawking's
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: is up to. I'm sending you this TikTok because you've
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: never seen it.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Okay, so there's the sprinkle sprinkle lady on YouTube. She
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: gives dating advice. It's always very much about getting your
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: bag and not putting up with bullshit.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: And then she says, sprinkle, sprinkle. And she goes, sprinkle what?
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Sprinkle the money? I don't know what it means.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: I always pictured it like glitter or raining money or something.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: But she says, sprinkle, sprinkle. And there's just this really
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: funny video of her talking about how Stephen Hawking cheated
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: on his wife. And even Stephen Hawking is cheating on
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: his wife.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Totally.
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: So you can't trust any man. I'm sending you the TikTok.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: It's so funny.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: No, it's true. It's like, yeah.
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: Any guy, any time, any place.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: He has two minutes to himself.
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: You never know.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: Right. It's just like, yeah, just, yeah, you literally are
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: not attractive and But, you know, that's the thing. Even
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: if it's not Stephen Hawking, even if it's just like
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: an average guy and you're like, you know what?
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: You're feeling confident.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he's really not that cute, but he's nice and
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: the cute guys haven't worked out. So I'm going to
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: go for this guy that's not that cute, but whatever.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: just know that that guy then by you, by you
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: lowering your standards to be with this person for whatever
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: lowering your standards are, that boosts that guy's confidence so
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: much that he's like, if I can get this girl,
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: which is you, what else can I get?
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: I think we've all kind of done that in our
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: dating lives. It's like this guy will be pursuing you
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: and maybe you're not that into him, but maybe you've
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: been through a string of bad guys and you're like,
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: But this guy seems really into me. And he's like,
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: you know, he'll be safe. He'll be like, you know, whatever.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: And then, no, it ends up like cheating the worst
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: or something. You're like, maybe this is meant to be.
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: If he's this into me, maybe he's right. And maybe
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: we are meant to be together. And then you're like–
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: then you lower your standards. And then, yeah.
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: And then– The worst one.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: So, like, go for the best guy. Yeah. Also, the cuter,
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: better guys are confident in themselves. Like, they're not– sometimes
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: they're not the ones– That are cheating because– or, you know,
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: taking advantage of women or whatever because they were always cute.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: So they got the girlfriend in high school and it
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: wasn't hard. Yeah, they've been there, done that.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: And, like, if it didn't work out, it was kind
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: of a mutual didn't work out. It wasn't like, no
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: girl has liked me for 30 years, but now you do. Yeah.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Well, I'm so glad you came and
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: I'm so happy for your success and that you're doing
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: so many different things.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: You know what I have to say? When I listen
- 1:14:39Speaker 4: to your podcast and the thumbnail comes up, you know
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: those apps that will make AI finish your picture? Yeah.
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: Like you see part of a picture and the AI
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: will like draw the rest of it. I always picture
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: the rest.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: Of that picture.
- 1:14:50Speaker 4: Do you remember Kim Kardashian's Playboy cover? And she's wearing
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: like this red halter pinup bathing suit. And she's like
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: sitting on her knees and perched like that. That's the
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: rest of the picture in my mind. Because you're like
- 1:15:00Speaker 4: in the same pose, like you'll never unsee it if
- 1:15:02Speaker 4: you look at that cover.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: You're in like a pinup heels and pinup suit.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. Listen, if a Juicy Skipper wants to
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: finish the photo with your Canva or whatever skill set
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: you have for Photoshopping, I would love it to have
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: the Kim Kardashian ass of 20 years ago from the Playboy.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: That would be amazing.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: I need to see it.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: I love it. So tell everybody where they can watch
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: this as well as your podcast and everything else you're doing.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: So Playboy Murder Season 2 premieres on Monday, January 22nd
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: on ID. After that, it'll be streaming on Max. And
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: there's seven episodes this season. And after that, my new series,
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: Lethally Blonde, will premiere.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Oh, wait.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: And what's that about?
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: It's another true crime series. It's all about people from
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: fascinating backgrounds, but it's not Playboy specific. So it's a
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: little bit similar to this.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: But is every girl a blonde? No, no, no. I'm
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: the blonde. Oh, you're the blonde.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: We have cases that center around men, too, and things. Oh, okay.
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: They just all have to be really interesting. That's the
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: one criteria.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm into. It has to be, like,
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: I'm not into serial killing stories, like anything too, like, graphic.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: I like more like what was the motivation to lead
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: you to the murder. That's the kind of stuff that
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: fascinates me. Yeah, or the one mistake or everything was
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: great in your life and you just met this person
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: and you decided to cheat on your husband and now
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: fucking look at your life. Two years ago, you were
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: at the country club. Now you're behind the bars.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: Yeah, because I watch some of these cases and everything
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: leading up to it. I'm like, well, those are choices
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: I would have made, you know, and it just takes such.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: A wrong turn. Yeah, I love it. And then your podcast?
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Girls Next Level. It drops every Monday.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: We love it.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: It's so fun.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: Oh, good, good. Well, thank you so much for coming.
- 1:16:48Speaker 4: Thanks for having me.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Thanks. The car is beautiful. Where did you end up
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: going for it?
