Southeast Polk School District is set to break ground in summer 2027 on its ninth elementary school — a $51 million project approved by voters in November 2025 — designed to ease overcrowding at Four Mile and Clay Elementary, with doors opening for the 2029-30 school year. Located at 6770 NE Rising Sun Dr., just beside the Pleasant Hill Police Department and near Four Mile, the new campus is ready for construction and promises to deliver a much-needed boost to student capacity and learning conditions.
