- 0:01Hello. Welcome to the No God Coach
- 0:03Huddle for February 11, 2026. A
- 0:05two-minute call from God's playbook to
- 0:08know him better so we can love and obey
- 0:09him more. Let's huddle up and hear
- 0:11today's play from Exodus 9, which says,
- 0:14"When Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail,
- 0:16and thunder had ended, he sinned still
- 0:19more by making himself hard-hearted, he
- 0:22and his servants. Pharaoh was made
- 0:24hard-hearted and he didn't let the
- 0:26people of Israel go just as Adonai had
- 0:29said through Moses. Brothers, in Exodus
- 0:32chapter 9, Pharaoh teaches us one of the
- 0:34most dangerous lessons in scripture.
- 0:37After God sends hail, thunder, and
- 0:39devastation across Egypt, Pharaoh
- 0:42finally cries out. He admits his sin. He
- 0:44asks Moses to pray. He promises to obey.
- 0:48And God shows mercy. The storm stops.
- 0:50The destruction ends. and relief comes.
- 0:53But listen to what happens next. When
- 0:56Pharaoh saw that the rain and hail had
- 0:57ended, he sinned still more and hardened
- 1:00his heart. Relief led to rebellion.
- 1:03Mercy led to stubbornness. Grace led to
- 1:06resistance. Pharaoh didn't harden his
- 1:08heart in the middle of suffering. He
- 1:10hardened it after suffering had passed.
- 1:13And that's where many men fail today. We
- 1:15cry out to God when life hurts. When
- 1:17money's tight, when marriage is
- 1:19strained, when health is threatened,
- 1:21when fear rises, we pray hard. But when
- 1:24God answers, when pressure lifts, when
- 1:26life stabilizes, we forget. We go back
- 1:29to old habits. We return to self-ruule.
- 1:32We stop listening. Like Pharaoh, we want
- 1:34God's help, but not his authority.
- 1:37Scripture says, "Kindness is meant to
- 1:38lead us to repentance. Every rescue is
- 1:41an invitation to surrender. Every
- 1:43blessing is a call to obedience. But too
- 1:46often we treat patience like permission.
- 1:48We think nothing happened. God must be
- 1:50fine with us. Wrong. That's mercy. Mercy
- 1:54rejected becomes judgment. Exodus also
- 1:57shows us something important. Sometimes
- 1:59Pharaoh hardens his own heart. Sometimes
- 2:02God hardens Pharaoh's heart. God does
- 2:04not force rebellion. He confirms the
- 2:07direction a man chooses. When someone
- 2:10repeatedly rejects truth, God eventually
- 2:12gives them over to it. And that is
- 2:14terrifying. The greatest danger is not
- 2:16suffering. It's being comfortable in
- 2:18disobedience. God's greatest act of
- 2:21kindness wasn't stopping a storm. It was
- 2:23sending his son. Jesus took our
- 2:25punishment so we could be forgiven. The
- 2:28cross is mercy at its highest. Every man
- 2:30responds to that mercy in one of two
- 2:32ways. With repentance or resist
- 2:35resistance. With surrender or with
- 2:37self-ruule. Pharaoh chose resistance and
- 2:40he lost everything. Brothers, don't
- 2:42waste mercy. Let it change you. Run
- 2:44today's play. Thank God for his mercy.
- 2:47Repent where you've drifted. Obey where
- 2:49you've delayed. And renew your
- 2:51allegiance today. Don't let kindness
- 2:54harden you. Let it humble you. If this
- 2:56huddle helps you know God better so you
- 2:58can love and obey him more, share it
- 3:00with a friend and write a quick review.
- 3:02This helps other men find their way into
- 3:04the huddle.
