- 0:13Hello you guys, and welcome back to another episode of the Hawgrel Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is your weekly reminder that it's
- 0:20a new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day
- 0:23for you to become the howcrel energy you want to attract. Happy Tuesday,
- 0:28you guys, I'm finally uploading on the right day. These bad two weeks
- 0:34of vlog miiss have been extremely busy, and if you've been following along on
- 0:39my vlog miss on TikTok, you guys know that I have missed a few
- 0:43days. So I've kind of been posting like every other day for a vlogmiss
- 0:46honestly because my days kind of look the same. Like I'm working during the
- 0:51day, I'm editing during the day, I'm filming content behind the scenes,
- 0:54and there's just like nothing really exciting going on, and I just really don't
- 1:00see a point in filming the same thing. Just decided to, yeah,
- 1:03vlog on days where I actually have stuff going on and things that are actually
- 1:07like entertaining to watch. So I think I got through fourteen days, which
- 1:11I'm proud of myself for, and I'm still trying to include more of log
- 1:15style videos into my TikTok, so definitely make sure to keep following along.
- 1:21I'm still posting some content, but I don't know, I just like really
- 1:23didn't want to be repetitive on my work days, and yeah, so I
- 1:27decided just to, yeah, stop the constant day to day of log miss
- 1:33and just kind of vlog here and there on days where I'm actually doing something
- 1:36fun and entertaining. And obviously a lot of wedding planning has been happening behind
- 1:41the scenes as well, which I obviously can't record for specific reasons, like
- 1:45I don't want to give away obviously all that's happening during our weddings, so
- 1:49I can't really record days where I'm having meetings with vendors, photographers, all
- 1:55that. So yeah, that is kind of like another reason why I've been
- 1:59kind of distant from blog miss is catching up on wedding stuff because obviously we're
- 2:04going into the new year and I need to secure stuff before the end of
- 2:07the year, just to make sure that I have a photographer or videographer here
- 2:12and makeup all that. So like that's like my main priority to get that
- 2:15done before the new year. So yeah, I've been like really really trying
- 2:19to get meetings in and just get them booked and all that. So this
- 2:22week specifically, I feel like everybody's always extremely busy before the holidays. Obviously,
- 2:27Christmas is literally this weekend or sorry, next Monday, which is crazy
- 2:34that we're already at the end of December basically, and I feel like everybody's
- 2:38always so crazy this week because I think a lot of people usually take that
- 2:40week off next week just to give themself a break. I'm giving myself a
- 2:45break. Zach usually has that week off. I know my dad usually takes
- 2:47that week off her work. So yeah, it's just usually a week where
- 2:52everyone's just kind of spending time with family and trying to yeah, relax and
- 2:57enjoy the last week of twenty three and then we're into the new year,
- 3:01which is crazy. So this is an episode I really really wanted to make
- 3:07a specific episode about, just because there's so many parts to this and I
- 3:10feel like there's a lot of people out there that might not know how to
- 3:14actually create a vision board properly. So I'm going to be going through the
- 3:17exact steps on how to create the perfect vision board and how to achieve these
- 3:23goals for yourself, like how to actually make these goals a reality for yourself
- 3:28and your dream life a reality. So we're going to go through all the
- 3:30steps on how to create the most ideal vision board, and this will be
- 3:34a really good episode for you to listen to if you're in the current state
- 3:38of creating your twenty twenty four vision board, or if you're someone that's never
- 3:42created a vision board and you want to have a good idea of how to
- 3:44do it, this is the perfect episode for you just to get a good
- 3:46understanding on how you're going to be able to create one as well as achieve
- 3:51the goals for yourself. Also quick side note before we get into this episode,
- 3:54just because I have this on in the background. It's currently paused obviously
- 3:59for recording, but when I get work done, I always need to have
- 4:01some background noise. I don't know if anyone else is like that. I
- 4:04like to have music in the background, or I like to put a TV
- 4:08show on. Lately it's been putting a TV show on. I think it's
- 4:11just because I work alone and I like background noise. I usually have friends
- 4:15on in the background. I'm rewatching it for the fourth time, which is
- 4:19crazy to say, and I've literally finished all ten seasons. I think I'm
- 4:24on actually season nine right now, so I've finished nine seasons in a month,
- 4:29literally a month. That's so bad. That means I'm literally playing like
- 4:31I don't want to say, like six or seven episodes a day. So
- 4:34yeah, but right now, I decided to pause on Friends because Zach's been
- 4:39enjoying it, Like the last few episodes of season nine and season ten are
- 4:44so good, So I usually only watch it when we're making dinner now that
- 4:46way you can watch the episodes. But I am rewatching Vampire Diaries and I'm
- 4:54so obsessed with the show right now. I have not watched Vampire Diaries,
- 4:58I want to say, in like five or six years, probably five years,
- 5:02which is a long time, and oh my god, it's just bringing
- 5:05back so many good memories and I freaking love that show. If you guys
- 5:10are team Stefan or team Damon, let me know I am personally team Stefan.
- 5:14I think he's the hottest human being ever, and I freaking love him
- 5:17and Elena. I just, oh my god, them is a couple is
- 5:20literally my favorite thing ever. So that's just my side note, just because
- 5:25I have that on the background. I've been playing it all day. I'm
- 5:28on episode seven, so I've watched just seven episodes today while I've gotten work
- 5:32done, which has been very enjoyable. So anyways, if you haven't watched
- 5:36it, you need to watch Vampire Diaries or this is your signed to rewatch
- 5:40it, just because it's that good. Okay, So now let's get into
- 5:44vision board. So if you guys don't know what a vision board is,
- 5:46a vision board is essentially a gallery of images that reflect your goals for the
- 5:53year. So basically, picture a phone screen or a laptop screen with a
- 5:57bunch of different images, but the images actually have meaning to it. It's
- 6:00not just random images that you pulled from Pinterest to make it look aesthetic.
- 6:03These images all have purposes and they have a purpose for you to achieve for
- 6:08the new year. So that's essentially what a vision board is. So every
- 6:13time going into the new year, obviously everybody has either New Year's resolutions or
- 6:17goals that they want to achieve for themselves for the new year. So obviously
- 6:20entering twenty twenty four, everybody's going to want to have a little reset.
- 6:24They're going to want to get into a healthier lifestyle. They're going to want
- 6:27to have like almost like a reset button, like I want to restart my
- 6:30life. I want to get back on track, become the best version of
- 6:33myself all that. So it's almost like a fresh start and starting a new
- 6:38year is always the perfect opportunity to set new goals for yourself. And so
- 6:42if you listen to my last episode, we talked about setting goals for yourself
- 6:46in different categories. Everybody has different goals that they want to achieve for themselves
- 6:49in different categories, whether it's business or school related, whether it's personal,
- 6:55or it can be health and wellness. So if you need some reference for
- 6:58how to structure your goals, that's a really good episode to listen to,
- 7:01which was the one before this one, but this one here, we're just
- 7:04going to talk about how we're going to achieve the goals that we've written down
- 7:08for itself for the new year. So that's what the vision board is really
- 7:12more specifically about. So, yeah, we're going into a new year.
- 7:15Obviously we want to feel like a new person. We want to have a
- 7:18new new year knew me. You guys know the saying, And I feel
- 7:21like it's so beneficial just to have something visual, being able to see everything
- 7:27that you want to achieve for yourself. I'm going to quickly go over mine
- 7:30with you guys, because I feel like that's a good example. I think
- 7:33I told you guys in my last episode that I achieved I want to say
- 7:38at least seventy to seventy five percent of my twenty twenty three vision board,
- 7:42one of them being an engagement ring, which is literally the same engagement ring
- 7:46I have on my venturess board, which is crazy. Another weird thing that
- 7:49I added on my vision board was a aries baby cake. I really wanted
- 7:55to have a cute saying on my birthday cake, and I really want it
- 7:58to be unique and different, and the exact image is actually on my vision
- 8:03board, just in different colors. This one's black. The one that I
- 8:05got was like a vanilla cream color with pink, but same saying, same
- 8:11type of shape of the cake. So that's really cool to look back at
- 8:15and see that I actually did achieve this for myself. This one is kind
- 8:18of creepy. And my health of Ononless goals really was just to stay on
- 8:22track with my routine, have a consistent workout, schedule trying out new workout
- 8:26classes, and this specific photo that is on my vision board, it's a
- 8:30girl at a Revolve event in La at this heated pilate studio called Heated back
- 8:39in Coachella. So in April, trin Land and I went to a workout
- 8:45class with Tatcha. You guys know the brand Tatcha, It's a skincare brand.
- 8:48We went to the heated class and it was the exact room of this
- 8:52exact image on my vision board. So this girl that I pulled from Pinterest
- 8:56is sitting in this room, and I have a picture of my in this
- 9:01exact room, which is so creepy. And it's funny because I think we
- 9:07recorded a podcast with Tren and Land back in LA for Trend's podcast The Wellness
- 9:11Cafe, I'm pretty sure, and Tren literally picked that out, Like I
- 9:15didn't even notice that Trend and I were looking at my vision board. I
- 9:18think we were talking about just vision boards and manifestation in the episode, and
- 9:22Trend was like, KILLI, I'm pretty sure that's the studio we were at
- 9:26today, and it clicked that it actually was the exact same So I'm gonna
- 9:30try and do a video on TikTok or Instagram of showing my vision board versus
- 9:33my real life, and it's just really creepy just to see this exact room
- 9:39that I was in, Just that blows my mind, Like that's never been
- 9:43so specific on my vision board before, so that is pretty crazy. Just
- 9:48being able to travel more. That image here is just like an airplane in
- 9:52the clouds. I feel like I have like literally the exact same image in
- 9:56my camera role, just from traveling a lot this year. I really wanted
- 10:01to have my office done. Didn't get that done, but a lot of
- 10:05the components in this picture, including the desk in the chair, I actually
- 10:07have in my storage room right now, just don't have it out. So
- 10:11being able to create my dream office is definitely something Zach and I are doing
- 10:15for our December break, So that week long break next week, we're going
- 10:18to be focusing on doing my office, which will be really fun to film
- 10:22and show you guys the transformation. We're like redoing the floors. I don't
- 10:28know if we'll paint the office. I feel like I don't need to paint
- 10:30it. As long as it's white and it looks nice. I feel like
- 10:33that's all that matters, But it's going to be like my little workout studio
- 10:35along with my office, just having a space to record my podcast. Like
- 10:39right now, I literally record the podcast in my kitchen. I have no
- 10:43space to really do it. So being able to have a closed in space
- 10:48just for me to record the podcast will be really really nice. As well
- 10:52as just having like an office setup to do my work. I feel like
- 10:54I'm constantly just moving throughout the main floor of my house and I really just
- 10:58want to be in one place and being able to get all my work done
- 11:01would be the most ideal situation. So yeah, so those are just certain
- 11:05things that I can pull from my Oh here's another one. I wanted to
- 11:09reach a million downloads on my podcasts and we're almost at I think we're over
- 11:16three million now, so definitely achieve that this year, which is beyond crazy
- 11:20to me that there's over three million downloads, which yeah, I'm completely speechless
- 11:24about. So yeah, just like little things like that I just can see
- 11:28from this right now, or some of the things that I did achieve for
- 11:31myself. The other ones are more so just images of like travel which I
- 11:35did, like going to Coachella, which I did. You know, traveling
- 11:39with friends, which I did, engagement photos which I did. A lot
- 11:43of these goals were also house related. I really wanted to get a lot
- 11:45of house projects done, just like random goals like that. And then professionally,
- 11:48as I said, with my podcasts and then my platforms, still continuing
- 11:52to grow and just gaining a new audience by getting you know, new supporters,
- 11:56whether you guys listen to my podcasts, follow my social media. It's
- 11:58just always so nice to have new faces and new supporters throughout my journey that
- 12:03I'm always beyond grateful for. And I feel like this one's kind of obvious,
- 12:07and I feel like this is something that everybody wants, is just being
- 12:09able to, you know, have an increase in finances, like being able
- 12:13to maybe make a bit more money than you did last year, or just
- 12:16be able to call yourself in a good financial situation, you know what I
- 12:20mean, Like being stable with your finance is obviously a goal that I think
- 12:24everybody wants to achieve for themselves. So yeah, I feel like that's a
- 12:28common goal that people like to say. So that's definitely something that I feel
- 12:30like I did a good job out this year as well. Working hard and
- 12:33just being successful at what I do is so important to me. And yeah,
- 12:37so the new year, I feel like it's going to be a lot
- 12:39about focusing on my brand, which I told you guys about, but also
- 12:41I really want to get more into events, meaning I really want to see
- 12:46you guys. I really want to travel within Canada, within Europe, within
- 12:50the States and really meet you guys face to face, whether it's just going
- 12:54on Hawk Girl walks together or even you know, booking a workout studio and
- 12:58being able to invite you guys and we can do a workout class together.
- 13:01I put a poll on my Instagram story, not on my podcast, but
- 13:03on my personal account seeing how many of you guys were based in Ottawa,
- 13:07and I was shocked to see the amount of people from Ottawa that actually follow
- 13:11me. I was not expecting that number at all. So I will be
- 13:15hosting an event in Ottawa in the new year. I have to talk to
- 13:18a few companies in order to make this happen. I really want to host
- 13:22a workout class. Whether it's going to be a spinning class or maybe a
- 13:26pilates class, I'm not sure yet, but I want to have some fun
- 13:28stuff going on. Maybe we can do it on like a Friday night,
- 13:33have some drinks going, you know. I just wanted to be like a
- 13:35fun vibe. So we're gonna definitely do something like that in the new year.
- 13:39And I thought it's a perfect opportunity because you know, everybody wants to
- 13:41try new workout classes and just do workouts in general in the new year,
- 13:46So yeah, I thought it could be a fun way to start the new
- 13:50year off. So anyway, so that was some of the goals that I
- 13:52achieved for myself from my twenty twenty three vision boards. So I love creating
- 13:56vision boards for that reason. Is just seeing how much which you've achieved for
- 14:01yourself through these images that you've put as your laptop background or your phone screensaver.
- 14:05I always have my vision board like in my eesight at all times,
- 14:11or even describe on how to create one. Know that when you do create
- 14:16one, I think it's mandatory to make it as your screensaver or your iPhone
- 14:20background, because that's what's going to remind you the things that you need to
- 14:24achieve for yourself. So that's what you need to do now. I have
- 14:26seen a few people also create vision boards that have not been digital, it's
- 14:31been on a campus. If you guys don't want a canvas is it's almost
- 14:35like a massive painting canvas. It's called a canvas and you can cut images
- 14:41that you've printed off your printer from the computer, or you could get magazines
- 14:45and cut images out of the magazines and stick it on your campus and then
- 14:48maybe hang it up in your room or in your office or somewhere in your
- 14:52space. That could also help remind you to see the goals that you want
- 14:56to achieve for yourself. So I have seen people make a fun night out
- 15:00of this with their girlfriends where they all bring their canvas boards, magazines or
- 15:03images that they printed out that they found from Pinterest. They cut them out,
- 15:07they paste it onto their canvas, and they create a cute little art
- 15:11piece for their space. That seems like a really fun idea, and it
- 15:15seems like a really fun girls night to have a making visions boards night.
- 15:20I personally like doing it online because, as I said, I like to
- 15:22have it as my phone screensaver or laptop just because I'm always constantly on a
- 15:28screen for my job. So personally I prefer digital. But you can also
- 15:33do it that way if you would prefer to do it with a canvas.
- 15:35Okay, so here we go. Let's get into creating a vision board.
- 15:39So step one writing at your goals and adding the description of photos you would
- 15:43like to describe that goal. So, for example, if you've already written
- 15:46out your goals for three different categories, you're now going to look at those
- 15:50goals and figure out what's the best image that would describe this goal. So,
- 15:52for an example, if one of your goals is to finish school,
- 15:56maybe you could find a picture of someone graduating. Or if you want to
- 16:02get a job a new job, maybe get an image of an office building
- 16:04or somebody with a cute office outfit that looks super professional, has our shit
- 16:10together. So you find like a really nice girl and a really nice work
- 16:12outfit that looks like she's got her shit together. Another thing could be you
- 16:17maybe listening to more podcasts or going on more Hawk girl walks. You could
- 16:21find an image of a girl walking with headphones outside. That was actually another
- 16:26image that I can think of on my vision board that I have like a
- 16:29zillion photos of me with my AirPod pro maxes, just going on how girl
- 16:33walks this summer which was something I really wanted to prioritize, was just getting
- 16:37my daily walks in. So yeah, so like that's a good reference for
- 16:41an image if you're wanting to increase your Hawt Girl walks or anything like that.
- 16:45But I feel like that's going to be the best way to start out
- 16:48with the vision boards is really writing down all your goals in those three different
- 16:52categories and then describing what you want your image to look like fromt Pinterest,
- 16:56and then once you've done those certain words, you can now go on to
- 17:00Pinterest and find the images you're going to search those incorporating words that you have
- 17:06as your goal. So I've already said examples, but I truly do believe
- 17:10that Pinterest is the best place to find any inspiration or any good photos for
- 17:15your vision board. I solely use Pinterest as like my life, like Pinterest
- 17:21is my main spot for inspell when it comes to my job, like I
- 17:25constantly go on Pinterest for inspiration for anything. I truly believe Pinterest is honestly
- 17:30like a vision board of its own constantly, So you know, Pinterest always
- 17:36refers to images that you previously have said that are similar images that could meet
- 17:41your vibe or anything like that. So my entire wedding planning has been off
- 17:44Pinterest. I feel like that's majority of the people. But that is like
- 17:47how I plan my life essentially. I don't know if anybody else is like
- 17:49that, but I truly believe that Pinterest is the most amazing app out there,
- 17:53Like it's way better than all the apps I've ever used. I truly
- 17:56believe that it's really how you want your life to become, and it just
- 18:00is a great resource for people who really try to manifest things for themselves and
- 18:07yeah, just create that dream life that you want. So yeah, Pinterest
- 18:10is where I get all my images from whenever I'm looking for inspo for even
- 18:15getting my nails done, my hair done, like anything like that. Is
- 18:18just like my main go to source. So you're gonna go to Pinterest,
- 18:22You're gonna find the images that you want to put on your vision board,
- 18:25and you're gonna copy and paste it. So, as I said, if
- 18:26you're looking for a hawk girl walk photo, go into Pinterest, search those
- 18:30exact words, find an image that you think best represents that goal, and
- 18:33then copy and paste it. So one thing that I always add on my
- 18:37vision board is just twenty twenty four, and I make the numbers just look
- 18:41aesthetic and cute, and I usually put that in the center, and then
- 18:44I put my images in like different corners of the paper or of the template.
- 18:51So you know, one corner, I'll make it more health and wellness
- 18:53related, and then in the other corner I'll make it more personal, and
- 18:56then the two bottom corners I'll make it more like business professional images. That
- 19:02way, it all flows nicely, and the goals are kind of structured in
- 19:04the same area. It's not like it's scattered everywhere. Another thing you can
- 19:08use besides images is you can also use quotes or sayings that you want to
- 19:14remind yourself of throughout the new year. So if you don't want to do
- 19:18a canvas, which I said, if you don't want to do a hard
- 19:22visual copy where you don't want to cut the images out on magazines or just
- 19:26cut printed images that you print it out, you can use a template that
- 19:29is free on the internet. So the main thing that I've been using for
- 19:33the past three years of creating my vision board, it's free. It's called
- 19:37Canva. I absolutely love it. I actually use Campa for a lot of
- 19:40my work things as well, whether I'm creating giveaway stories that I'm putting on
- 19:44Instagram as my photoshop tool or my YouTube thumbnails. It's just a great resource
- 19:49to use if you're someone that likes to do photoshop and doesn't want to have
- 19:53to pay a monthly fee. Canvas really really good for that. So you
- 19:56go into Campa and they're going to ask you what temple size you want,
- 20:00so it will tell you if you want like an iPhone wallpaper or a laptop
- 20:04desktop screen, anything like that. It's gonna give you different templates and you
- 20:07can pick either or I think what I did is I copy and pasted like
- 20:12I did my vision board on my wallpaper background first as that template, and
- 20:17then I copy and pasted the exact vision board twice, and then I just
- 20:22changed the template size so I didn't have to like redo it twice and just
- 20:25like made the images bigger for my laptop desktop. So once you have that
- 20:29template selected, you're then gonna start creating the vision board. So you're gonna
- 20:32start uploading the images that you saved from Pinterest onto Canba, play around with
- 20:36it, position them in the places that you would like. I also like
- 20:38to put the main goals that are like my main focus for the year,
- 20:41closer to the middle where the twenty twenty four is, because I feel like
- 20:45that's like the most eye catching area and it's also the most visually appealing area.
- 20:49So yeah, that's simply how I structure the goals on my vision board.
- 20:55Now let's talk about how we're going to achieve these goals. So this
- 20:57is the whole vision board process. I've kind of already explained it, what
- 21:00you have to do all that, But how are we going to actually achieve
- 21:03these goals for yourself? How we actually going to make this happen for the
- 21:07new year. So I think the main thing is prioritizing your goals. So
- 21:11what's the most important one out of every single one for each category? So,
- 21:15as I said, making the ones that are the biggest priority in the
- 21:18center and then putting you know, the least prioritized ones in the other areas
- 21:22of the vision board. So when you wrote out your goals, I think
- 21:25it's important to rank them from most important to least important. So making sure
- 21:30that you have that down in that order, I feel like helps you realize,
- 21:34like what is the bigger priority for you? And then I also think
- 21:37it needs to develop a plan and break them down. So how are you
- 21:41going to achieve that goal for yourself? What are you going to be doing
- 21:42throughout the year to actually get to that goal. So essentially you're going to
- 21:45be breaking down the goal into steps. So taking these steps to get to
- 21:48this main goal is your biggest priority now. I also want to mention that,
- 21:53you know, I feel like a lot of people put the pressure on
- 21:55themselves that they need to make sure that they get all their goals for the
- 21:59year done at the beginning of the year. That is not the case at
- 22:02all. If you think of goals throughout the year that you want to achieve
- 22:04for yourself, obviously things change, plans change, It's totally normal. I
- 22:08always like to do monthly goals for myself, So every time we enter a
- 22:11new month, I write monthly goals that I want to achieve for myself and
- 22:15usually sometimes they're different than the goals that I wrote for the beginning of the
- 22:18year. So that is okay. Do not put that stress on yourself.
- 22:22I think at the end of the day, you can change or add goals
- 22:26whatever you'd like throughout the year. There's no pressure at all to also start
- 22:30a vision board. You know, four months into the year, three months
- 22:32into the year, It does not matter, as long as you're going out
- 22:34of your way to make this a priority for yourself. That's the biggest thing
- 22:37is being able to put yourself first and try to make these goals a reality
- 22:41for yourself. So yeah, please don't put the pressure on yourself that you
- 22:45think you have to get all this done at the beginning of January. I
- 22:47should have highly that in the beginning, but everybody is, you know,
- 22:51on their own path and they're on their own journey, and know that no
- 22:53matter what the time frame is or what the timeline is, you can start
- 22:57goals whenever you want out. I just want to highlight that because, yeah,
- 23:00I feel like people have that pressure and I don't want you guys to
- 23:03have that pressure. The next thing we're going to be doing in order to
- 23:06achieve these goals for yourself is the motivation. The biggest thing to achieving your
- 23:11goals is having motivation. If you can't motivate yourself to achieve goals, it's
- 23:15going to be very difficult to achieve them. You need to be your own
- 23:18motivator. You need to push yourself, you need to have things to constantly
- 23:22motivate you. What are those things going to be? Maybe having reminders your
- 23:25vision board, always being your motivator by reminding yourself that this is what I
- 23:29want to achieve for myself and having that as your wallpaper or as your lock
- 23:32screen or anything like that. That's what's going to remind yourself that this is
- 23:36what I want to do for myself. And that's honestly the best motivator to
- 23:40get yourself to achieve those little things and also little rewards for yourself, like
- 23:45if you notice that you've achieved one of the small goals on your vision board,
- 23:48make sure to treat yourself with those things, whether it's getting yourself a
- 23:52coffee or just make any little goal a celebration. So another thing that I
- 23:56think I mentioned last year in my podcast, I saw some one talk about
- 24:00this about a podcast. I believe it was from Jay I forgot his last
- 24:04name right now. He has a very successful podcast. Anyways, he talked
- 24:10about in his New Year episode that I listened to last year about writing down
- 24:14every time you achieve something for yourself throughout the year. So you know,
- 24:17let's say you got promoted with your job, write that down on a piece
- 24:21of paper and then you put it in a jar. And then at the
- 24:22end of the year, you can look back at all the things that you
- 24:25achieve for yourself, and it's little moments that you might not even think about,
- 24:29Like just as I said, like getting a promotion, like you know,
- 24:32seven months from then, you might be like, oh, it's not
- 24:33a big deal. But then when you look back at that on a sticky
- 24:36note, you'd be like, Wow, that was really cool, Like I'm
- 24:38really happy that I got that promotion and now I'm here, I'm so happy
- 24:41on how far I've came from that. So it's really important to reward yourself
- 24:47and remind yourself those little goals that you did achieve for yourself throughout the year.
- 24:51That's what's going to continue to motivate yourself to keep going and keep achieving
- 24:56those goals for yourself. Also important to have people around you that constantly motivate
- 24:59you. You family, friends, loved ones, obviously influencers potentially. I
- 25:04love to follow people who motivate me to do what I love and to do
- 25:07my job. I personally don't follow people who don't have any type of inspirational
- 25:15content, like for me, I don't want to follow someone that you know
- 25:18might put me in a negative headspace or just doesn't follow my beliefs or just
- 25:22anything like that. Like, I want to follow influencers that motivate me to
- 25:26be productive, to live a healthy lifestyle, to just yeah, be my
- 25:32most authentic self, if that makes sense. So I truly believe that people
- 25:36who you follow can also be a huge impact on who motivates you to achieve
- 25:38things for yourself. I think another thing when it comes to achieving your goals
- 25:42is identifying obstacles. So ask yourself, what is preventing myself from getting to
- 25:47this goal? There might be things that you never thought about that's actually in
- 25:49your way to achieving the goal for yourself. So this is another thing that
- 25:52I would recommend writing down figuring out, Okay, what are these obstacles that
- 25:56are you know, challenging me to not achieve this goal for myself. Well,
- 26:00write down those challenges, write down those fears that you would encounter that
- 26:03would prevent you from achieving that goal. So I feel like something like that
- 26:06is going to be super super beneficial when achieving your goals. Is just making
- 26:10sure that there's no obstacles that are going to be getting in the way.
- 26:12You don't want to look back at the end of the year and be like,
- 26:14oh, this was a huge issue, Like why didn't I see this
- 26:17coming, or why didn't I try to remove this obstacle from my life in
- 26:21order to achieve that for myself. So really review what is challenging you from
- 26:26getting to that end goal and make it a priority to find ways to remove
- 26:30it. That way, you can obviously achieve the goal for yourself. Okay,
- 26:34next thing is be realistic, So remember to write goals that are truly
- 26:38realistic to you develop a plan making sure that all the steps that you've written
- 26:44down are realistic to you achieving that goal for yourself at the end. But
- 26:47also, you know what, set some unrealistic goals as well. There's nothing
- 26:51wrong with that, like go big. You never know what could happen.
- 26:53Big dreams can happen, but I would make majority of them realistic just so
- 26:59that at the end of the year you can feel well accomplished and it makes
- 27:00you more motivated to start another vision board. Right Like, I personally feel
- 27:04like if I wasn't achieving anything on my vision board the following year, I
- 27:07probably wouldn't have created another vision board. I probably would have been like,
- 27:11that's a bunch of crap that never even worked. But because every single year
- 27:15my vision board has been so successful for my actual life, I continue to
- 27:19do so because it's a good motivator for me to continue achieving goals for myself.
- 27:23So make them realistic, making sure that it fits within your current lifestyle,
- 27:27but also write some things that could be a little unrealistic, because you
- 27:32know, dream big. Let's be de lulu, let's be able to conquer
- 27:37things that we really want to achieve yourself, and you never know, some
- 27:40of these unrealistic things could actually happen. As long as you have a good
- 27:42step by step plan on how to achieve that for yourself, you can make
- 27:47big things happen. I think one important thing when it comes to achieving goals
- 27:51for yourself, and I'm making this the last one for that specifically, is
- 27:55making sure you're going back reflecting and seeing any adjustments that need to be made.
- 27:59So I think it's important every month to check in on your vision board
- 28:03and making sure that you are sticking to those goals that you want to achieve
- 28:06for yourself. I personally feel like with my vision board. I probably checked
- 28:08in at least five times this year. I wouldn't say I did every single
- 28:12month, but I definitely reviewed my goals throughout the year to making sure that
- 28:17I was trying to achieve those bigger goals for myself and those little goals for
- 28:19myself, and making sure that I was taking the right steps to do that
- 28:23for myself. So it's like, what am I doing wrong that I can
- 28:26achieve this one goal? Like what can I do to actually achieve that goal
- 28:30before the end of the year. Is there any steps that I can take
- 28:32to get to that end goal? So making sure you take time to reflect,
- 28:36adjust, and remind yourself to achieve goals for yourself is very very important
- 28:41in order to achieve the end goals. So those are kind of the things
- 28:45that I personally would recommend when it comes to actually being able to achieve your
- 28:49goals. Is prioritizing your goals, develop a plan as well as find ways
- 28:56to motivate yourself to achieve the goals for yourself, identify the optacle, be
- 29:00realistic, but also kind of be de Lulu and be unrealistic, and also
- 29:03reflect and adjust. Those would be the biggest tips when it comes to achieving
- 29:08those things for yourself. But that's essentially how you create a vision board.
- 29:12There's not much more to explain. I think at the end of the day,
- 29:17you need to take the time out of your day spend an hour or
- 29:21two just going through the goals that you want to achieve for yourself of the
- 29:23year, finding images, creating that vision board for yourself, and I'm telling
- 29:27you right now, you will not regret it. You will feel so motivated
- 29:30to have the best life, to have the best year, being able to
- 29:34achieve things for yourself to make yourself feel good. There's so many amazing pros
- 29:38to having a vision board, and I truly, truly do believe that it
- 29:41works. It really does work. It really allows you to create your dream
- 29:45life and manifest things for yourself that you never thought in a million years could
- 29:51happen. But being able to have a vision board reflect remind yourself that you
- 29:55can do these things for yourself is truly the best feeling and the best way
- 30:00to motivate yourself to have the best year yet. So yeah, I hope
- 30:03you guys enjoyed this episode and make sure to post your vision boards on your
- 30:07Instagram story. And tag me. I really want to see the things that

- 32:34June second or June third, depending on June, January second or January third.
- 32:38Oh my god, here's me thinking it's summer. January second or January
- 32:42third. I'm not sure when the episode will be up, but there will
- 32:44be an episode up, probably in regards to, you know, resetting for
- 32:46the new year and just getting into healthy habits and all that. I have
- 32:52no idea what the episode's gonna be about yet, to be honest, but
