- 0:10OK, so we've got to talk about leadership again.
- 0:12I've spoken about leadership, the importance of leadership,
- 0:16multiple times over the last couple of years since doing this
- 0:20podcast. I want to go through what So
- 0:22what the Internet says talks about with weak leadership
- 0:26versus strong leadership. It says that weak leadership is
- 0:29characterised by indecision, lack of clarity and avoidance of
- 0:34confrontation. Weak leaders tend to outsource
- 0:37their decisions, manage by consensus and seek approval.
- 0:41They also tend to focus on events and emotions, events and
- 0:46emotions and assume they're strong and don't ever change
- 0:55That definition. Now that it shows, it reminds me
- 0:59of the leadership that we see in the world today and everyone
- 1:02goes, they focus so much on events and emotions and they
- 1:07don't ever want to change. They don't ever see the the, the
- 1:10weakness within some of these events and what they're trying
- 1:13to promote. Now, it says a strong
- 1:15leadership, on the other hand, is characterised by proactive,
- 1:20proactive approach, clarity and continuous pursuit of growth.
- 1:24Strong leaders outsource their thinking, embrace uncomfortable
- 1:29conversations and are not afraid to make independent decisions.
- 1:34They also provide the full picture of a scenario, value the
- 1:38thoughts, opinions and guidance of their team and have a mindset
- 1:42of abundance and agency. So the whole reason why I'm
- 1:45talking about this, it's because I read this article that I'm
- 1:49going to share with you today and I thought, wow, you know, we
- 1:54look at, I think about how American leadership, the United
- 1:58States of America, their leadership used to be viewed in
- 2:02this world and you compare it to today.
- 2:05And I think things, things have changed so much.
- 2:10And yet the leaders that they have in America today do not
- 2:14see, they do not see, comprehend, understand their
- 2:24their weaknesses. They think like they focus so
- 2:27much on events and they focus so much on emotions.
- 2:31But no one tends to sit up and look at and go, well, you know,
- 2:34to our face, we have people sitting there saying all the
- 2:38right things, saying, oh, you know, Trump, bad man Trump.
- 2:41You know, he said all these nasty things.
- 2:42He had bad tweets, he said all these things.
- 2:45He's just crazy. But you are, you're all really
- 2:47nice people. You're really great.
- 2:48You're doing such a, a great job.
- 2:50United States of America, President Biden or president,
- 2:54who is it? Is Biden president or was Harris
- 2:56president or was it still Obama? Probably Obama.
- 3:00You know, you, you're doing, you're all the nice people,
- 3:02you're the good ones. And we really respect your
- 3:04leadership. And yet increasingly, it's not
- 3:09behind their backs, but other leaders throughout the world are
- 3:14starting to say things or just make very confrontational
- 3:19statements. And I do wonder why no one in
- 3:24the United States government is standing up there thinking, you
- 3:30know what, maybe there's something wrong with the
- 3:32leadership style that we have undertaken over the last few
- 3:37years. Now, this leadership style where
- 3:40we just give in to others, where we, we embrace organisations
- 3:47that lean towards terrorism ideology, terrorist, terrorist
- 3:52ideology. We also try to appease
- 3:54governments like the Iranian governments.
- 3:57Maybe that's not working out well for us and we've lost the
- 4:00respect of other nations And bring this headline up.
- 4:04This is the whole reason why I'm talking about this.
- 4:06This is this should make people sit up and realise that This is
- 4:11why strong leadership is so important.
- 4:15This headline here talking about leadership and a lack of
- 4:19leadership and what happens when you have weak leadership within
- 4:22the government. Turkish ambassador says Israel
- 4:26and US should be brought to their knees in Cara has no
- 4:32objections to harsh, harsh retaliation by Iran.
- 4:38OK, so In an exclusive interview with Iran's semi official Tasman
- 4:44News Agency, which is associated with the Islamic Revolutionary
- 4:48Guard Corps, Turkey's ambassador to Iran said Inkara cannot
- 4:56dictate how Iran should retaliate against Israel
- 5:00following the assassination of Hamas political Bureau chief
- 5:04Ismail Haniya. I can't pronounce that properly,
- 5:07but whatever in Tehran. Tehran.
- 5:11However, he emphasised that the real answer lies in regional
- 5:15countries uniting to deliver a collective response that would
- 5:19bring Israel and United States to their knees.
- 5:24That's right, This is Turkey, remember, is a part of the
- 5:28United Nations and this ambassador is speaking out
- 5:31against the United States. Huh.
- 5:36A few years ago, could you imagine him saying this when
- 5:39Trump was leader? No, no, why?
- 5:42Could you imagine him saying this back in the day when Reagan
- 5:45was a was the leader? No, not a chance.
- 5:51But now weak leadership rules in the United States government.
- 5:56People can say ambassadors can stand up and say whatever the
- 5:59heck they want. There's not going to be any
- 6:00ramifications. And people know that it's true.
- 6:03People know that you can get away with saying anything
- 6:06really, because the United States government, weak
- 6:09leadership just tries to appease everyone just tries to, you
- 6:14know, they just want everyone smiling and patting them on the
- 6:16back saying, oh, these are really nice people.
- 6:18These are really good. You're doing a great job.
- 6:20We we hate you in reality, but you're doing a great job.
- 6:23As long as you continue to be weak and feckless, we'll
- 6:27continue to pat you on the back. So speaking about the
- 6:30assassination, Turkish ambassador, he said Turkey had
- 6:34no advice to offer Iran regarding its planned
- 6:37retaliation against Israel, which Iran had blamed for the
- 6:41assassination assassination. He added that there was no
- 6:45proposals from Turkey or other countries suggesting restraint
- 6:49such as be calm, be patient, avoid a military response, don't
- 6:55respond too violently. Goes on to say that Iran will
- 6:59make its own decision, that much is clear.
- 7:01It also appears determined, but we do not know what kind of
- 7:06response it will provide. Time will tell.
- 7:10Whether there will be a military response is also uncertain.
- 7:14What is clear is that the most effective response should be one
- 7:17that compels these aggressive countries to retreat and be
- 7:21brought to their knees. Isn't it?
- 7:25Isn't it strange the way he looks at it?
- 7:27There's there being the aggressive, the aggressors.
- 7:31Doesn't does not for one minute entertain the thought, the idea
- 7:36that perhaps Hamas, you know, that perhaps other political
- 7:43entities, other political political forces, Muslim forces
- 7:50within the region are the ones to actually blame.
- 7:52Or maybe it was Iran that brought this upon themselves
- 7:56because, well, because they're the ones that they're the puppet
- 8:00masses who are pulling the strings in the background.
- 8:04It's funny that he doesn't put any of the blame on Iran.
- 8:07So the ambassador's reference to aggressor countries clearly
- 8:11includes Israel and the United States along with their allies.
- 8:16Kulangik also pointed out that the developments following
- 8:19Hania's and Hania's assassination and not solely
- 8:24Iran's responsibility, but involve all the countries in the
- 8:28region. He questioned whether those who
- 8:31who hosted a NAE or claimed to support the Palestinian cause
- 8:35would bear no responsibility in this matter.
- 8:39Of course, I want patience. Iran will make his decision with
- 8:42steadfastness and patience, and perhaps it will make the best
- 8:45decision. We cannot know that, we can only
- 8:49respect it. Look, he just rambles on a bit
- 8:52more and a bit more. All I'm saying is this is what
- 8:56happens when you have weak and feckless leadership, especially
- 9:01in the country. Now, I don't I don't happen to
- 9:05think that Trump is the be all and end all and he's the
- 9:09absolute best leader out there. However, he is, he is miles and
- 9:15miles ahead of the leadership that you've had for the last
- 9:18four years, close to four years with Biden and Harris.
- 9:22And Harris can stand up there and say that she is the she's
- 9:26the change maker. She's going to sit everything
- 9:28and everything right. She's been the being vice
- 9:31president for almost four years. She has helped oversee the
- 9:36problems, the weak leadership and the other problems that the
- 9:39United States has had for so long.
- 9:42She's part of the problem. But now she stands up and says,
- 9:45oh, well, I'm going to fix everything.
- 9:46I'm going to change everything. Forget about what I haven't
- 9:49done, what I could have done for the last four years.
- 9:52Like I said, I don't think that Trump is the absolute greatest.
- 9:57It's not the best, but he is so much, so many miles ahead of
- 10:03Biden and Harris and the Democratic Party as a whole, so
- 10:08much more. And he is so much, he is such,
- 10:14he is a stronger leader than Harris.
- 10:18You will not. You will see more and more of
- 10:21this kind of talk, this kind of rhetoric from ambassadors, from
- 10:25representatives of other, especially Islamic countries
- 10:29across the world. If the United States continues
- 10:32down this path where it continues to vote in the
- 10:35Democratic Party. They are weak.
- 10:39They are the epitome of weak, weak leadership.
- 10:44And like I said, it's not that the Republicans are perfect and
- 10:48sure as heck is not that Trump is perfect.
- 10:50But you need strong leadership if you're going to if you're if
- 10:55you're going to have a strong government that can guide the
- 10:59United States out of the absolute mess, mess that it is
- 11:04in right now. And I think stories like this
- 11:08showing the complete lack of regard and the lack of respect
- 11:14that nations like Turkey obviously have, Turkey and Iran
- 11:18have, is extremely dangerous. And if you don't take care of it
- 11:23and you don't vote in strong leadership, well, we're just
- 11:28going to see the continuation of disrespect and war and
- 11:33aggravation coming from the Middle East.
- 11:38Now, I say all this thinking, what I think is the best thing
- 11:43for the United States, the best thing for the rest of the world
- 11:46is for Trump to win the next election.
- 11:50However, I watch the way things are going in the media and I'm
- 11:59not going to say it's my gut, but I'm not going to be
- 12:03surprised if Harris wins the next election.
- 12:08Because it seems that so many, so many citizens of the United
- 12:13States, so much of the media just lapping up the Kool aid
- 12:17that Harris is putting out there, believing the lies and
- 12:20the rhetoric that's coming out of her mouth.
- 12:22She speaks gibberish. And you still, they still, the
- 12:25media still lap up the lies. They lap up the Kool aid that
- 12:30she puts out there. But if Trump isn't voted in, I
- 12:35just think there's going to be, it's going to be absolutely
- 12:39chaos. And the United States will
- 12:41never, they're never going to get back the respect from any of
- 12:46these nations like Turkey. This shows the importance of
- 12:51strong leadership versus weak, feckless leadership like the
- 12:57Democratic Party in the United States.
- 13:01Anyway, that's just my opinion. You let me know what you think.
- 13:03I'm Jay Fallon. Thanks for listening to the
- 13:05Slippery Slope. And Satan is
