- 0:27Speaker 1: Let's win them all. Bake hugs, tiny kisses.
- 0:51Speaker 3: All right, Welcome to the locker room. We are presented
- 0:53Speaker 3: by Fireball Whiskey. So many things make football great, but
- 0:55Speaker 3: you know what the best thing is the living shit
- 0:58Speaker 3: out of your rival And there's that actually no better
- 1:00Speaker 3: feeling as an athlete or fan, And Fireball Whiskey is
- 1:03Speaker 3: here to give you the spark to ignite that rivalry
- 1:05Speaker 3: flame all season long. Grab your football buddy by a
- 1:08Speaker 3: round and reignite that val rivalry. Flame wild card weekend.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I can't believe we're here. Hey, before we get going,
- 1:14Speaker 3: I got you gotta hear this bet.
- 1:16Speaker 4: Let's do it?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, So I come in.
- 1:19Speaker 2: He's just talking nonsense always.
- 1:21Speaker 3: You're saying, there's not going to get drafted in the
- 1:23Speaker 3: first round because he probably saw a tweet that's had
- 1:25Speaker 3: a couple of scouts doesn't have him as a first
- 1:27Speaker 3: round grade.
- 1:28Speaker 2: That sounds like and I graded him. Our bet a thousand.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You've graded him. What do you know about quarterback? Nothing?
- 1:35Speaker 3: A thousand dollars. Bet a thousand dollars bet that he
- 1:39Speaker 3: goes in the top two rounds. If he goes beyond that,
- 1:41Speaker 3: Delaney wins.
- 1:43Speaker 4: What you think of that bet?
- 1:44Speaker 1: I think you're gonna lose a thousand dollars.
- 1:46Speaker 3: He ain't going, he said, he said, he goes. He said,
- 1:49Speaker 3: there is gonna slip to the fifth round.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Mark my words, Delaney Delaney.
- 1:55Speaker 4: All right, my name alone, that'll mean anything.
- 1:59Speaker 1: He could have a will of a situation where he
- 2:00Speaker 1: falls in the second round, but he's not going past
- 2:03Speaker 1: the second.
- 2:04Speaker 3: It's a water down class, bro. I'm telling you these
- 2:06Speaker 3: teams are gonna reach.
- 2:08Speaker 4: But this is an offensive line draft. This year, a
- 2:10Speaker 4: lot of old line gonna go.
- 2:11Speaker 2: That's gonna push the line draft every year.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Sometimes it should be, but it's not. It's watch, it's
- 2:16Speaker 4: gonna push this draft back. That's what happens. Once the
- 2:19Speaker 4: old line is gonna go, then it's gonna go d line,
- 2:21Speaker 4: then running back, then quarterbacks. Watch. Just wait.
- 2:24Speaker 1: First off, I think you did see a couple of reporters.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I saw the same ones and you got really froggy
- 2:29Speaker 1: on that. You probably drove in your car. Call three
- 2:30Speaker 1: of your buddy said, Hey, listen, I got some huge
- 2:32Speaker 1: insight on Sanders.
- 2:34Speaker 3: You.
- 2:34Speaker 1: This is premature jacket halfway the whole time. Well you
- 2:39Speaker 1: have only half cold.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I'm just chilling, you know, swagging with.
- 2:43Speaker 2: That look, Yeah, you think of swag.
- 2:46Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:48Speaker 1: One of those. He had one of those full mers
- 2:52Speaker 1: at his house. He sat there for a little bit.
- 2:53Speaker 4: With Yeah, I slept in this.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It's way too early. It's a way to really I
- 3:04Speaker 1: slept him there. It's way too early to figure it out.
- 3:06Speaker 4: It's way too early.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Combine has to happen, Interviews have to happen. Like he's
- 3:11Speaker 1: gonna find his way into that first round. He will
- 3:13Speaker 1: find his way into that first round and he lost
- 3:16Speaker 1: a good quarterback. Give him a chance.
- 3:18Speaker 4: He not going good quarter going in the first I
- 3:22Speaker 4: ain't taking it back.
- 3:23Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, I ain't taking it We should
- 3:25Speaker 3: even so confident.
- 3:26Speaker 2: We should twice on that ship.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Twice he not going in the first round.
- 3:31Speaker 1: When I came in here and said that better than.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Him right now, camp quarterback, Cam, that's one quarterback, and
- 3:38Speaker 4: he the only one that's gonna go in the top first, second,
- 3:41Speaker 4: first and second round.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And it's one quarterback is gonna be drafted the top two.
- 3:46Speaker 1: We need to find out when the last time that happened.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I was trying to tell him about the water down class.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I think it was around like twenty ten, where Christian
- 3:53Speaker 3: ponderings up going like top thing. He's like, oh, because
- 3:54Speaker 3: he's white, because there is black, he won't just go
- 3:57Speaker 3: in the first or second round.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, onward, I mean crazy.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Mark Jackson, Lamar Jackson mixed Jayde Daniels mixed Anthony Richardson
- 4:13Speaker 4: Beast and in the performance he put on at the combine.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're black and they're in the first round.
- 4:20Speaker 4: It's a whole new era.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I want to come up here.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Look at the stats. Look at how many black guys
- 4:24Speaker 1: are drafting in the first round. How many black guys
- 4:27Speaker 1: are drafting the first round?
- 4:29Speaker 4: Five? Way more white guys drafted in the first round.
- 4:35Speaker 4: I mean, that's that's crazy, way more white guys.
- 4:39Speaker 2: What do you talk?
- 4:40Speaker 4: And it's in the NFL ninety eight percent black, and
- 4:43Speaker 4: it's still more white dudes drafted in the first round.
- 4:46Speaker 1: They're just you're just saying, you're literally just saying words.
- 4:48Speaker 4: I'm not it's true. You're looking it up man Jap.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Drake By Joe.
- 5:00Speaker 3: J. J.
- 5:00Speaker 2: McCarthy, bow Nicks, Rock Cours.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You better help that back right there.
- 5:08Speaker 2: He's got five five fingers up. Graham Barton that's six,
- 5:15Speaker 2: and Ricky.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Seven, and then everybody else was black.
- 5:21Speaker 1: That's seven out of thirty two picks.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Hey, hey, yeah, you gotta you gotta fact check me.
- 5:31Speaker 4: So I don't believe unless I see it.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Dan, you see it? Do you watch your draft?
- 5:36Speaker 4: I don't watch the draft?
- 5:39Speaker 3: But you you you you say it like it's it's
- 5:42Speaker 3: true if you you Donald Trump d So you don't.
- 5:46Speaker 1: You don't pay atition the draft. No, you don't pay
- 5:49Speaker 1: attention to draft at all. Hell, So why are you
- 5:51Speaker 1: making a bet based on the draft.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Because I'm gonna win. This is what I do. Okay,
- 5:58Speaker 4: I just yeah right, I'm telling you right now.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Should we start with this favorite team?
- 6:02Speaker 1: Let's start with this.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yes, the favorite the Chargers at the Texans. Chargers are
- 6:07Speaker 3: faired by two and a half. The over under on
- 6:08Speaker 3: this game is forty three and a half. Boys, two
- 6:11Speaker 3: and a half seems a bit, seems a bit small. Yeah,
- 6:15Speaker 3: is that you think the Chargers gonna Chargers?
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah? I feel like the charge would his favorite pretty heavy.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Yeah, Texans have no receivers at the moment, but Nico
- 6:24Speaker 4: and then they added uh Deontay Johnson at the moment.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I just like hardball. I like I like the Chargers.
- 6:32Speaker 3: I like the makeup.
- 6:33Speaker 2: They have a good defense, they played balance on offense.
- 6:37Speaker 2: They have a running game.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Your boy Herbert can throw the ball around, and I
- 6:41Speaker 3: just like.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Like ranf You saw the touchdown. Well, I don't know
- 6:47Speaker 4: if he's did he score on that play, but.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He ran, he did, he rant, He got wheels too.
- 6:54Speaker 4: The kids.
- 6:54Speaker 1: He's got some stats that he's in a League of
- 6:57Speaker 1: one right now. Like the kid is an absolute stud,
- 7:00Speaker 1: a League of one Chargers playing up.
- 7:06Speaker 3: He's got just it's it's just like the League of one.
- 7:08Speaker 3: It's like, Okay, well, what Joe Burrow's not in this
- 7:12Speaker 3: Lamar Jacks.
- 7:12Speaker 1: He's got some stats that would make him in a
- 7:14Speaker 1: league of one. That's a that's a fair and factual statement.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Oh like his only his stats are his and his alone,
- 7:20Speaker 2: So he's in a league.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's one way to look at it. The other way
- 7:22Speaker 1: is how many yards he's thrown for in the first
- 7:24Speaker 1: however many years of his NFL career is the highest,
- 7:27Speaker 1: the high, putting him in the one category that would
- 7:29Speaker 1: be a stat that put him in one of one.
- 7:32Speaker 1: All right, did I say that he's a top.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Two quarterback that you said he's a league of one.
- 7:38Speaker 1: He's got a League of one in some of the stats.
- 7:41Speaker 2: His stats are his own.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think the Chargers Houston, the Houston Texans a it's
- 7:48Speaker 1: a difficult place to play, especially in the payoffs. I
- 7:50Speaker 1: haven't played there, but in the playoffs. However, playing there
- 7:53Speaker 1: in general that done when that place is rocking, is
- 7:55Speaker 1: a very difficult place to play. Chargers do have to
- 7:58Speaker 1: travel all the way to Houston. I think when you
- 8:00Speaker 1: look at Harball, the enthusiasm that he came in. At first,
- 8:03Speaker 1: I'm sure a lot of guys are like, what the
- 8:04Speaker 1: hell are we doing? This college type shit is not
- 8:06Speaker 1: going to work in the NFL. All of a sudden,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you start to win some close games that you would
- 8:10Speaker 1: have lost last year now turn into wins this year.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He is owning the culture, and I think every guy there,
- 8:17Speaker 1: all fifty three guys on that team are drinking every
- 8:20Speaker 1: bit of kool aid that he's pouring for them. They
- 8:22Speaker 1: are fully bought into the culture. They believe the Chargers
- 8:25Speaker 1: on the up and up. They're stoked to be a
- 8:26Speaker 1: part of this franchise. And then you look at the Texans.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Texans start what six and two? They start six and
- 8:32Speaker 1: two in the season, you think, all right, Texas are
- 8:34Speaker 1: gonna be the Texans. Yet again, they've had a very turbulent,
- 8:36Speaker 1: rocky back half of the year. They sustained some injuries,
- 8:39Speaker 1: they lose digs, they lose those bell and it just
- 8:43Speaker 1: doesn't feel like the dangerous team that they were in
- 8:46Speaker 1: the beginning half of the year. And I like to
- 8:48Speaker 1: look at these playoffs as what team is doing this
- 8:50Speaker 1: at the right time. You look at the Philadelphia Eagles,
- 8:52Speaker 1: We'll we talk about later. You'll get them. Last year,
- 8:55Speaker 1: the way they finished their season as opposed to starting
- 8:57Speaker 1: their season showed a big way in the playoffs. For
- 9:00Speaker 1: that reason, I'm gonna take the Chargers. I don't know
- 9:02Speaker 1: if it's going to be a blowout. I think two
- 9:04Speaker 1: and a half is fair. I think they're gonna win
- 9:06Speaker 1: this game. I think when you get in the playoffs
- 9:07Speaker 1: and all of these games are relatively competitive, like these
- 9:11Speaker 1: are the best, These are the best of the best,
- 9:13Speaker 1: These are the fourteen teams that deserve to be in
- 9:15Speaker 1: and I think the Chargers take this one.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And wild card weekends usually fireworks.
- 9:19Speaker 1: The fireworks. There's going to be an upsett in here somewhere.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I haven't sniffed it out yet, but I have an
- 9:24Speaker 1: idea of who it might be.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Were you with Harball's first year at the Niners, I was,
- 9:28Speaker 3: how far do you guys go?
- 9:30Speaker 4: We went to the NFC Championship game.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Right, So it's like it's building off of the thought
- 9:36Speaker 3: of is what college is gonna do?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Like car Ball is proven to come in first year
- 9:40Speaker 2: and just turn right, and I do. I like riding that.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I like riding that way with the Chargers right now,
- 9:46Speaker 2: especially because the Texans we're all in Chargers.
- 9:48Speaker 1: That's the only thing that's kind of giving me some
- 9:50Speaker 1: some nerves.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I think it's going to like you were talking like
- 9:53Speaker 3: this fiery team in the beginning of the year too,
- 9:55Speaker 3: even when they were six and two, they were kind
- 9:56Speaker 3: of like it didn't seem like they were progressing from
- 9:59Speaker 3: how they ended the year last year, yeah, or building
- 10:01Speaker 3: off that, Like I feel like they've been kind of turbuting.
- 10:03Speaker 2: All year long.
- 10:04Speaker 3: So it just and the Chargers are clicking at the
- 10:07Speaker 3: right time and again playoff football. I fect the Chargers
- 10:09Speaker 3: are built for. I feel like their team overall is
- 10:12Speaker 3: built for the playoffs.
- 10:13Speaker 1: If you look at like you just remember playing, like
- 10:16Speaker 1: how like short memory you'd have, Like you win a
- 10:19Speaker 1: game one week and kind of vibes are high, you
- 10:22Speaker 1: lose the next week vibes are low. So when you
- 10:23Speaker 1: end the season in a way like the next team
- 10:26Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about he's lost four in a row,
- 10:28Speaker 1: like the vibes in that room, it's like, yeah, we're here,
- 10:30Speaker 1: but like how much better? Like is he going to
- 10:32Speaker 1: get better?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:32Speaker 1: As opposed to winning a few games, fighting your way
- 10:35Speaker 1: into the playoffs and being like, hey, we're going into
- 10:37Speaker 1: this thing kind of firing all cylinders. There's just a
- 10:39Speaker 1: different mentality with those things when you're winning games, Like,
- 10:41Speaker 1: it's hard not to jump on the roller coaster that
- 10:44Speaker 1: is the NFL season.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Yeah, And I mean you got JK back and they
- 10:48Speaker 4: brought Haskin in. I didn't he go to Michigan.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Yeah, he went to Michigan. One of hard balls class.
- 10:53Speaker 1: He's yeah, he's actually playing well.
- 10:54Speaker 4: He's been playing pretty well, playing well. I think they
- 10:57Speaker 4: fired all cylinders. The Chargers good to me.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I like it. That's a sneaky team in this playoff.
- 11:03Speaker 3: It is very, very still and they continue to hit
- 11:08Speaker 3: this like they will be the ones traveling.
- 11:10Speaker 2: To the Chiefs fired up.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I bet you would. I'd be fired up for the
- 11:15Speaker 1: next game. Steelers are at the Ravens in Division game.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Ravens are favorite at nine and a half. Total points
- 11:22Speaker 1: in the game is forty four and a half. Will well, yeah, mabe.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I'm I think I like the Steelers with the points.
- 11:32Speaker 3: I think they have no chance of winning this game.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I think they have no shot at winning this game.
- 11:36Speaker 3: They were scoreless in the first quarter last week when
- 11:38Speaker 3: we were talking on the locker room. They've been like
- 11:40Speaker 3: six games where they haven't scored a touchdown. Now they're
- 11:43Speaker 3: at four games. I think in a road to where
- 11:44Speaker 3: they haven't even put points on the board in the
- 11:46Speaker 3: first quarter, I think they're gonna start slow. I just
- 11:49Speaker 3: don't think they have offense. Bro I don't think they
- 11:51Speaker 3: have offense going for him right now. I don't think
- 11:53Speaker 3: they can run the ball. They're just they're always behind
- 11:55Speaker 3: the chains. The Ravens defense is top notch. It is
- 11:58Speaker 3: in division, and historically the Steelers kind of have the
- 12:02Speaker 3: Ravens numbers. Yes, even though the Ravens being like thirty
- 12:05Speaker 3: four to seven last game, yea, and with Mitch Hear
- 12:09Speaker 3: they're thirteen and three against a spread. When they're getting
- 12:12Speaker 3: points against the Baltimore Ravens, they might have that little
- 12:15Speaker 3: bit of life to whrop. That's why I'm going to
- 12:17Speaker 3: take the Steelers with the points. But the Ravens are
- 12:18Speaker 3: winning this game. Yeah, that's a fantastic stat. Match, that's
- 12:22Speaker 3: that's a that's a great stat. Yeah I think that. Yeah,
- 12:25Speaker 3: this is a Ravens ball game. But with nine and
- 12:26Speaker 3: a half points, it's like the Steelers are pretty much dead.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I know they're.
- 12:31Speaker 3: They're a team that's in the playoffs, but shouldn't be
- 12:32Speaker 3: in the playoffs. Base somehow they've kind of.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Ended the year.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Like you said, they limped in the playoffs.
- 12:38Speaker 2: You would like to see the Bengals get in over.
- 12:40Speaker 4: I would have rather see the Bengals. The performance would
- 12:42Speaker 4: have been a lot better, changed.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Trending and in the right direction at the end of
- 12:47Speaker 1: the year. Man, you really would to hope they get
- 12:49Speaker 1: them in. I know all of our bets last week
- 12:50Speaker 1: were kind of revolved around as if are going to
- 12:54Speaker 1: do anything. Yeah, I like I like the Ravens. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: could see the Ravens covering this game. I'm going to
- 13:00Speaker 1: take the Steelers with the points, just because it's in
- 13:02Speaker 1: division game. Tomlin, I think his league as a coach
- 13:05Speaker 1: wild card. This game is gonna come down to game plans,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and I think you see the Ravens there. They've consistently
- 13:11Speaker 1: dominated the regular season. Lamar Jackson has consistently been in
- 13:14Speaker 1: the MVP race, and then we get in the playoffs
- 13:16Speaker 1: and it's like, what's happened to the Ravens. The thing
- 13:19Speaker 1: that I think is different this year is their run
- 13:22Speaker 1: game is the opportunity to not just have Lamar run
- 13:25Speaker 1: the ball, but twenty two in the back.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Benjamin Button.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Yeah, Benjamin Button. He has the most yards of any
- 13:30Speaker 1: running back over the age of thirty in a season
- 13:32Speaker 1: like he is proving that father time. He's one of
- 13:34Speaker 1: those father time guys. And to be able to give
- 13:36Speaker 1: the almost aid Delanny Dereck Henry the ball twenty plus
- 13:40Speaker 1: times a game and take some of that pressure off
- 13:42Speaker 1: Lamar so he can make the throws down field he
- 13:44Speaker 1: hass and take it every once in a while. That's
- 13:46Speaker 1: a huge recipe for success and sustaining time of possession.
- 13:48Speaker 1: That's when you start to break down and the guys
- 13:51Speaker 1: that you're playing this late in the season, in the
- 13:53Speaker 1: playoffs and the snow's possibly on the ground, those ailments,
- 13:56Speaker 1: those bumps, those bruises, they start to feel like a
- 13:58Speaker 1: little bit more. And so I of the Ravens, I
- 14:01Speaker 1: hope their game plan revolves around run first, because that
- 14:04Speaker 1: is their recipe for success. You watch them the playoffs
- 14:06Speaker 1: last year. They tried to do this high flying things
- 14:09Speaker 1: and Lamar unfortunately missed few throws when they could have
- 14:12Speaker 1: just ran the ball and probably gotten away with that game.
- 14:15Speaker 1: If they commit to the run game, like it's already
- 14:17Speaker 1: proven in their stats. When they commit to the run
- 14:19Speaker 1: game with Derek Henry, they win games and their defense
- 14:22Speaker 1: plays well, which they have consistently. They're going to have
- 14:25Speaker 1: the Steelers thinking about Kabo San Lucas by halftime. That's
- 14:29Speaker 1: that's what their their goal should be is break them down,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and so they're feeling all those pains. They know at
- 14:33Speaker 1: the end of the year the season is going to
- 14:35Speaker 1: be over after this game. Break their will in the
- 14:37Speaker 1: first thirty minutes of that game. I'm still gonna think
- 14:40Speaker 1: the Steers of points because of Tomlin.
- 14:42Speaker 2: I think it's a big game two for the Ravens
- 14:44Speaker 2: tight end room.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah, ye isaaa likely. Dude. I like him and he's
- 14:50Speaker 1: not talked about enough. He had a fantastic game against
- 14:52Speaker 1: the Chiefs in Week one Thursday Night Football. Literally his
- 14:54Speaker 1: toe right was the difference in that game. But he
- 14:56Speaker 1: is He's got wiggle, he's got ahead at.
- 15:00Speaker 4: The mark and beasting too.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Though I like a likely touchdown.
- 15:05Speaker 1: I love that.
- 15:06Speaker 4: I think that's a good I think that's a good.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I love that.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I think that's a good.
- 15:09Speaker 1: One he's got. But he's got just enough wiggle too.
- 15:11Speaker 1: He's got that kind of like how that Travis Kelsey
- 15:14Speaker 1: eske where it's like literally his body's going one way,
- 15:16Speaker 1: but his you know, it looks like he's going the other.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I do like likely quite a bit.
- 15:20Speaker 3: And you watch the Chiefs game too, you're throwing some
- 15:22Speaker 3: window dressing and take advantage of the linebacker room for
- 15:24Speaker 3: the Steelers, their eyes, like Travis Kelsey is wide open
- 15:27Speaker 3: on so many different occasions. Actions, action screens like just
- 15:31Speaker 3: get guys anticipating, you gotta shut down Derek Henry and
- 15:33Speaker 3: building some creative plays.
- 15:35Speaker 1: And when when you're with the Ravens, when you're raising
- 15:38Speaker 1: throwing the balls, like if your game playing consists of
- 15:40Speaker 1: inside the hashes to out and you're utilizing those tight
- 15:43Speaker 1: ends quite a bit because they have two tight ends
- 15:44Speaker 1: as receiving weapons, that's a big deal. That's a quick
- 15:47Speaker 1: way to get those small chunks if your run game
- 15:50Speaker 1: is getting stuffed a little bit. And then back to
- 15:51Speaker 1: the run.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Game, and again y'all said that the tight ends, it
- 15:53Speaker 4: actually helps because you gotta spy lamar. So that middle
- 15:56Speaker 4: linebacker whoever it is, the spy queen, Yeah, chasing, chasing around,
- 16:00Speaker 4: so you do the play action he steps to the side,
- 16:02Speaker 4: that linebacker flows middle open put to the tight ends
- 16:05Speaker 4: over the ball always works.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You brought up a good point about how the game
- 16:08Speaker 1: plan Lamar. When you're playing a guy like Lamar, if
- 16:11Speaker 1: you're rushing your four guys, the idea that should be
- 16:15Speaker 1: with your edge rushers don't go past the quarterback and
- 16:17Speaker 1: it allows too much holes and then condense the middle
- 16:20Speaker 1: of the pocket and then slowly, like a bow constrict
- 16:22Speaker 1: come in on him and hopefully your back end can
- 16:24Speaker 1: hold coverage. When you have a guy like TJ. Watt,
- 16:26Speaker 1: who is supremely talented, who's unbelievable and makes amazing plays,
- 16:30Speaker 1: but he makes a lot of plays the way his
- 16:31Speaker 1: brother made plays, He's not extremely gap sound. He likes
- 16:34Speaker 1: to run around the edge a whole lot. He'll take
- 16:36Speaker 1: the chance and the opportunity to use the B gap
- 16:38Speaker 1: in the run game and leave his sea gap, which
- 16:40Speaker 1: is probably his responsibility, and he makes a lot of TFLs.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That's when guys like Lamar, who have that elite athletic ability,
- 16:48Speaker 1: will kind of hurt you in a lot of ways
- 16:49Speaker 1: because he'll feel that pressure on the back end and
- 16:52Speaker 1: be able to scoop under that B gap and kind
- 16:53Speaker 1: of wiggle his way out and that's where you see
- 16:55Speaker 1: the explosive runs. It's about those eleven guys condensing the
- 16:58Speaker 1: pocket and keeping everything in front of you from the
- 17:00Speaker 1: back end standpoint.
- 17:01Speaker 2: But I see that too.
- 17:02Speaker 3: And then on the flip side, it's like the Steelers
- 17:03Speaker 3: have always kind of found a way.
- 17:05Speaker 2: To defeat Lamar Jackson.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Right, So it is kind of like a little bit
- 17:08Speaker 3: of a mind fuss because you're right saying all those
- 17:10Speaker 3: things when you're defens sitting in there, those are all
- 17:12Speaker 3: the rules you want to play when you're playing Lamar Jackson,
- 17:14Speaker 3: and tj Wy does go rogue. But it's something the Steelers,
- 17:17Speaker 3: for whatever reason, they've been able to figure out ways
- 17:19Speaker 3: to defeat.
- 17:20Speaker 1: And exactly what you're talking about is the reason the
- 17:22Speaker 1: hesitation why I'm not taking the big line with the Ravens,
- 17:24Speaker 1: because the Steelers have kind of always found a way
- 17:26Speaker 1: to have some sort of success or at least keep
- 17:28Speaker 1: it close against a great Ravens football team. It's if
- 17:33Speaker 1: this was a different team with the same record and
- 17:35Speaker 1: the same everybody with a different name, You're I'm taking
- 17:38Speaker 1: the Ravens minus nine and a half. But because of
- 17:40Speaker 1: the Steelers, because of Tomlin, that is that's the reason
- 17:43Speaker 1: why you can see this with at ten point, you.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Could say Tomlin, but he ain't out there playing like
- 17:48Speaker 4: last week, Russ could have got out of bounce, say
- 17:50Speaker 4: some time on the clock so them to get down
- 17:52Speaker 4: there and at least get a field goal, but he
- 17:54Speaker 4: fucking comed Kazi ran right into the dB so fucking
- 17:58Speaker 4: stupid run the clock down like I'm taking the Ravens
- 18:02Speaker 4: minus nine and a half.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And general as a veteran quarterback, the Super Bowl champion quarterback,
- 18:08Speaker 1: you have to understand that situation. We'll have that that
- 18:17Speaker 1: hero's mentality, just trying to be the hero for the team.
- 18:21Speaker 1: More definitely, Broncos at Bills do are we gonna talk
- 18:24Speaker 1: about this for a long time?
- 18:26Speaker 2: No, I mean.
- 18:29Speaker 1: It's I'm going Bills all the I think Josh Allen
- 18:34Speaker 1: is I think, No, I don't.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 18:38Speaker 4: I don't.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I think the Denver to the Northeast. I think bow Knicks.
- 18:42Speaker 1: They've they've won one of their last three games, and
- 18:45Speaker 1: the one game they won was a team that sat
- 18:47Speaker 1: all their Otherwise, We're not looking at this team in
- 18:50Speaker 1: the playoffs right at all. I have no belief in
- 18:53Speaker 1: the Broncos. I think it's outstanding what they did in
- 18:55Speaker 1: the turnaround they've had with bow Knicks. I think I
- 18:58Speaker 1: think if you're sitting Mile High Country right now, you're
- 19:01Speaker 1: really excited about the Broncos and what they're going to
- 19:04Speaker 1: do for you because they get Sean Payton bow next.
- 19:06Speaker 1: They messed together really well. This seems like a year
- 19:09Speaker 1: that we could really be talking about the Bills in February.
- 19:12Speaker 1: The Bills just seem different. They seem very different right now.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I like them a lot. I'm taking the Bills with
- 19:17Speaker 1: the points. The Bills, by the way, I didn't say this.
- 19:20Speaker 1: The Bills are favored at eight and a half points
- 19:21Speaker 1: toll points, the game is forty seven and a half.
- 19:24Speaker 2: I think I'm going to go Broncos with the points.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I do think the Bills win. They take care of business.
- 19:29Speaker 3: But I think that the Bills this is like they.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Have to win their morning routine.
- 19:33Speaker 3: This is their morning routine game where they got to
- 19:35Speaker 3: get up, they got to get a workout in and
- 19:36Speaker 3: everything else because they are hungry, you know, they want
- 19:39Speaker 3: It's that AFC Championship game against the Chiefs.
- 19:43Speaker 2: So I'm not saying they're going to overlook it.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I think it's it's extremely difficult to go out to
- 19:47Speaker 3: Buffalo at.
- 19:48Speaker 2: This point in the year in January.
- 19:51Speaker 3: I do think the Bills will take care of business
- 19:53Speaker 3: and win this game. But I think the Broncos, I
- 19:55Speaker 3: think they can be a little frisky. I'm going to
- 19:56Speaker 3: take the eight and a half points. I do think
- 19:58Speaker 3: the Bills win like late, like they're gonna come from
- 20:01Speaker 3: behind him win. I just think it's gonna be a
- 20:02Speaker 3: close game all the way down to the end. So
- 20:04Speaker 3: I'm gonna take the Broncos with the points.
- 20:06Speaker 1: If seeing the books, still a need to take in the
- 20:07Speaker 1: Bills of the Broncos.
- 20:08Speaker 3: And to you you look at how the uh the
- 20:11Speaker 3: ball kind of bounce around the end zone like a
- 20:12Speaker 3: play that the Chiefs usually get right where it bounce
- 20:14Speaker 3: off all the different defenders and then Sutton comes down
- 20:18Speaker 3: with the ball for a touchdown. Like those, you need
- 20:21Speaker 3: the ball to bounce your way a little bit. They
- 20:23Speaker 3: might have a little bit of luck going to the
- 20:24Speaker 3: walk weekend. Even though that the Chiefs are sitting a
- 20:28Speaker 3: lot of people and they weren't playing with their stars
- 20:31Speaker 3: and Carson Wentz was playing like offensively. The confidence you
- 20:33Speaker 3: still put up thirty eight points. You still you still
- 20:36Speaker 3: r squad.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure if you're shot all playing, but yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 1: like for sure, if you're shouting painting, that's the narrative
- 20:43Speaker 1: you're trying to a head. Boys, when we do it right,
- 20:44Speaker 1: this is what we can put on the board. We
- 20:46Speaker 1: can put these types of points on the board. But
- 20:48Speaker 1: every player in there that knows what they're talking about
- 20:50Speaker 1: is like, yeah, we didn't play against nobody, nobody, and
- 20:53Speaker 1: it's it goes it kind of it's a theme, right,
- 20:55Speaker 1: Like these teams are kind of doing this at the
- 20:56Speaker 1: end of the year. They kind of just had a
- 20:57Speaker 1: little blip because they beat their team sitting all their guys. Yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: as opposed to Bills that, dude, I really other than
- 21:04Speaker 1: their defense can meet being shaky sometimes, I truly believe
- 21:06Speaker 1: in the Bills this year.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yeah, it's gonna be It's gonna be a cold game too, boy, Yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 4: very cold.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Packers NFC now Packers that Eagles. Eagles are fair by
- 21:15Speaker 3: four and a half.
- 21:16Speaker 2: The over runner on this game is forty six and
- 21:17Speaker 2: a half.
- 21:18Speaker 4: This is my ballsy pick.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Man.
- 21:21Speaker 4: You're taking Eagles Packer and I'm taking the Packers.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I think the Packers.
- 21:26Speaker 4: I'm taking it.
- 21:28Speaker 2: You look at who they've lost.
- 21:29Speaker 3: You like, you can throw the Bears game out of
- 21:31Speaker 3: the window. But they lost the Vikings twice, they lost
- 21:34Speaker 3: the Lions twice, and I think they lost to Eagles
- 21:37Speaker 3: very early in the year about a two points. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:39Speaker 3: the Packers. The Packers can play man. They have a
- 21:41Speaker 3: very good defense. Yes, Alexander is on ir but if
- 21:45Speaker 3: they can shut down which is a tall task, if
- 21:47Speaker 3: they can, They're not gonna shut down Saquon Barkley, but
- 21:50Speaker 3: keep them at Bakee under ninety yards rushing, like, the
- 21:53Speaker 3: Packers are gonna have a shot.
- 21:55Speaker 2: I like the Packers.
- 21:56Speaker 4: I mean, you got two good running backs in this game.
- 21:58Speaker 4: You got Jacob, Yeah, you got Barkley. I mean this
- 22:02Speaker 4: is gonna be a game.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Yeah, this could be the best the best game of
- 22:06Speaker 1: the weekend. Actually the last bulletp here, it might be
- 22:08Speaker 1: the best game of the week. Okay, I like that.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I like the Eagles. You can see the pain on
- 22:15Speaker 1: sa Quon's Barkley face as he's doing a locker room
- 22:18Speaker 1: interview talking about wanting the record, talking with his family
- 22:21Speaker 1: about it. The coach coming in saying, hey, we're gonna
- 22:23Speaker 1: sit you this week. I know it's not what you want. However,
- 22:25Speaker 1: we have to think about the big picture of things
- 22:27Speaker 1: that any true competitor, when they are told to them
- 22:31Speaker 1: they don't want to hear. They take that and they
- 22:34Speaker 1: take that chip and they just place that thing gently
- 22:35Speaker 1: on their on their shoulder as if it's a seed
- 22:37Speaker 1: and they watered a couple times a day. Now that seed,
- 22:40Speaker 1: he's got a chip. He's like, I wasn't able to
- 22:41Speaker 1: get this record, but I'm sure there's some sort of playoff,
- 22:44Speaker 1: rushing record that he's gonna look at and be like,
- 22:46Speaker 1: fucking I'm gonna beat that instead. That's the big difference
- 22:48Speaker 1: between this this Eagles scene from last year this year,
- 22:50Speaker 1: plus the record going in Like the records were similar, however,
- 22:53Speaker 1: the way they got to that record is much different.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Strengthened the beginning of the year weakness at the end
- 22:58Speaker 1: of the year, that is now flipped to where the
- 22:59Speaker 1: Eagles are very strong at the end of the year
- 23:02Speaker 1: and they're firing in a lot of ways. Adrian Brown's
- 23:04Speaker 1: pissed off. Right, you got a Brandon Graham He's doing
- 23:07Speaker 1: a radio show saying eleven and one, we don't know
- 23:09Speaker 1: if they're gonna long. All of a sudden. The next
- 23:11Speaker 1: week he's tossed it to aj AG's got a smile
- 23:13Speaker 1: on his face. You get in the playoffs, all that
- 23:16Speaker 1: petty bullshit in the locker room kind of goes away
- 23:18Speaker 1: because you realize that you have a squad and you
- 23:20Speaker 1: have a roster that can fight for something that's bigger
- 23:22Speaker 1: than yourself. The regular season, your stats are what your
- 23:25Speaker 1: stats are. Now it's about how do we get more
- 23:27Speaker 1: points than the other team for three more times. That's
- 23:30Speaker 1: all you have to do is win three more games.
- 23:33Speaker 1: I love the Eagles in this pick. I think the
- 23:34Speaker 1: Eagles four and a half. I think Saquon Barkley has
- 23:36Speaker 1: a massive game. Not to anything away from the Packers.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I love the Packers that they're in the strongest division
- 23:41Speaker 1: and the game the teams they lost you is just
- 23:43Speaker 1: you know, that's a huge selling point. But I love
- 23:46Speaker 1: how the Eagles have kind of flipped the script on
- 23:49Speaker 1: what their seasons looked like from twenty four. If from
- 23:51Speaker 1: twenty three to twenty four, I think the Eagles are
- 23:53Speaker 1: very strong. I like I like it.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Go Commanders, Commanders at Buccaneers. Buccaneers favored by three over
- 24:00Speaker 3: under on this game is fifty and a half or
- 24:03Speaker 3: what are we feeling?
- 24:03Speaker 2: What we feel with the Commanders.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I like the Bucks.
- 24:08Speaker 2: I like the Bucks too. I like the Barday that doesn't.
- 24:11Speaker 3: I don't know if the Commanders are are as good
- 24:13Speaker 3: as I've assumed them to be. I think when you
- 24:16Speaker 3: look at the turnaround, when you look at coach Quinn,
- 24:19Speaker 3: they have between between guys on the Pro Bowl roster
- 24:23Speaker 3: and alternates. They have thirteen guys in the Pro Bowl
- 24:25Speaker 3: this year. You know how many of those are from
- 24:27Speaker 3: Ron Rivera? That zero really because a great stat. Gruden
- 24:33Speaker 3: drafted Scary Terry. But the turnaround that the Commanders have had,
- 24:37Speaker 3: They've had an incredible season, but they've been playing just
- 24:42Speaker 3: okay against against not very good football team. So at
- 24:45Speaker 3: the back half of the year, I think the Bucks
- 24:47Speaker 3: they just trend that you got Mike Evans, who you
- 24:50Speaker 3: know how many consecutive seasons over eleven. I think they're cooking.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I think Baker Mayfield's ready to go. I think that
- 24:56Speaker 3: offense is ready to go. The defense is going to
- 24:58Speaker 3: play a little bit. I mean, it is layoff season.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Everybody's gonna up their game a little bit more. And
- 25:02Speaker 3: I just think that they have too much for the
- 25:03Speaker 3: Commanders and they're at home in Tampa. I like the
- 25:06Speaker 3: Bucks with the three points.
- 25:07Speaker 4: Yeah, just like Mitch said, Commanders, that's the pick here.
- 25:16Speaker 4: I think Commanders might be the pick here or the
- 25:19Speaker 4: over Commanders be.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I think the Commanders is a franchise are very happy
- 25:25Speaker 1: with the outcome of this season. They feel very proud.
- 25:28Speaker 1: They're they're like, we know we have a quarterback for
- 25:30Speaker 1: the future. We feel good about it, dan Quinn. We
- 25:32Speaker 1: feel great about that. Obviously, see the Pro Bowl thing.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I didn't know that. That's a that's an incredible stat
- 25:37Speaker 1: So as a franchise that's been in turmoil for so long,
- 25:41Speaker 1: you see this season, You're like, we don't know if
- 25:43Speaker 1: this is our year, but fuck, we are so excited
- 25:46Speaker 1: about the future of this team. We know we got
- 25:48Speaker 1: the right head coach, we know we got the right quarterback.
- 25:50Speaker 1: They're they're ecstatic about what the future is going to bring.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I don't think they're focused as much as the Bucks.
- 25:56Speaker 1: The Bucks have quietly become a fantastic franchise. The ownership
- 26:00Speaker 1: stays out of it. Bulls has done a great job.
- 26:02Speaker 1: He's he speaks softly but carries carries a big stick,
- 26:05Speaker 1: stick type of mentality, and they bring in a guy
- 26:07Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield after Tom Brady to kind of take over
- 26:10Speaker 1: the reins. No, there's a lot of confusion of whether
- 26:12Speaker 1: or not he's going to be able to do that.
- 26:14Speaker 1: He has obviously done as a hundred million dollar contract.
- 26:17Speaker 1: The way the team rallies around a guy like Mike
- 26:20Speaker 1: Evans when he catches that ball they don't even get
- 26:23Speaker 1: it first down, but gets himself a thousand yards for
- 26:26Speaker 1: the eleventh straight season, and the whole team, the crowd,
- 26:30Speaker 1: the whole team clears, clears the benches, just to celebrate
- 26:34Speaker 1: for a moment. There's not a there's not a bum
- 26:36Speaker 1: in a seat that entire time, Like that's that's an
- 26:38Speaker 1: exciting thing that you know is only great for one guy,
- 26:42Speaker 1: Like that's awesome, but it's really just one guy. Yeah,
- 26:45Speaker 1: And I think there's something about this Tampa Bay team
- 26:47Speaker 1: that they're rallying around something special. They're trying to do
- 26:50Speaker 1: something special this year, as opposed to a franchise that
- 26:52Speaker 1: is happy to be happy to be there, but more
- 26:55Speaker 1: excited about their future. And I think Baker Mayfield, he's
- 26:58Speaker 1: got one little piece left to kind of get some
- 27:01Speaker 1: st like get the official first overall pick stench off
- 27:04Speaker 1: them and that's winning playoff games.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, this is a dude, this is a quarterback.
- 27:08Speaker 1: This is Yeah, you win this game, you're officially like
- 27:12Speaker 1: now you're being talked about as one of the top
- 27:13Speaker 1: tier quarterbacks. Now you're getting talked about like, oh, we know,
- 27:16Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's got a great quarterback. They don't have to
- 27:18Speaker 1: worry about that, as opposed to you know, every year
- 27:20Speaker 1: telling like okay, do you Keith Baker?
- 27:22Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Like there's always there's always a narrative.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Going like I love the way Baker plays to like
- 27:27Speaker 3: the dude just Ball's Yeah, he's a win good quarterback because.
- 27:31Speaker 1: He's like top five and he's a playoff quarterback.
- 27:33Speaker 4: Yeah, categories and at person.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I think I'm I'm I'm stoked for both these franchises.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I got a warm, fuzzy feeling when I think about
- 27:39Speaker 1: the Commanders and the Bucks. I think the Bucks take
- 27:41Speaker 1: this one minus three.
- 27:43Speaker 4: About the Bucks, the Bucks have won against the Eagles, Lions,
- 27:47Speaker 4: and took the Chiefs to overtime, but they lost to
- 27:50Speaker 4: like the Cowboys.
- 27:51Speaker 2: The Niners like that the Cowboys. What is in the
- 27:54Speaker 2: last seven games that they're that's their one blemmish.
- 27:57Speaker 4: But they're so up and down, like you just don't
- 27:59Speaker 4: know what team.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I think there's I think there's like a lack of
- 28:02Speaker 1: focus there, like you kind of you start to drink
- 28:04Speaker 1: your own kool aid a little bit about how great
- 28:05Speaker 1: you are. Everything kind of gets reset once you're in
- 28:09Speaker 1: the playoff. When you're in the playoffs, it's like, boys,
- 28:10Speaker 1: it's win or go whole hands on deck. You could
- 28:12Speaker 1: have some guys in the franchise that are like kind
- 28:14Speaker 1: of a win win, we win, extra check, possible, super Bowl,
- 28:17Speaker 1: you lose.
- 28:19Speaker 4: I don't know, man, we went to the second round playoffs. Motherfucker.
- 28:22Speaker 4: The whole team seemed like bitches when we was playing.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Was it when we went with uh with.
- 28:30Speaker 1: L Yeah, because no one believed in malarky?
- 28:33Speaker 4: You you crazy.
- 28:36Speaker 2: We knew that team was one one didn't sit on this.
- 28:40Speaker 4: That's why we lost. That's why we lost. Believe I
- 28:45Speaker 4: was the only one who bought out that game.
- 28:47Speaker 1: You give it up there a wild statement.
- 28:50Speaker 4: It's true.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Listen, that game we knew with a I mean Terror
- 28:55Speaker 1: Ribisky loved terror Orbisky to death.
- 28:56Speaker 4: I mean yeah, that'll he the most.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Predictable offense of all time. Defense played really well. There
- 29:01Speaker 1: was a question mark's revolving around. I don't know who was.
- 29:07Speaker 4: I would have say Mike Malarkey was calling the play.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Well. Then Mike Mularkey called the most predictable plays of
- 29:11Speaker 1: all time. It was duo zone. And then we're third
- 29:14Speaker 1: and six. Hopefully Marcus and scramble and make a play,
- 29:16Speaker 1: get it to delay.
- 29:17Speaker 4: He was winning in the game. We were nine and seven,
- 29:20Speaker 4: and we were winning in that game early and then
- 29:23Speaker 4: that that it was that special teams incident that cost
- 29:26Speaker 4: us to go downhill. We were winning in that in
- 29:29Speaker 4: the New England game, and then you're.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Talking about the game we lost forty to seven.
- 29:36Speaker 4: We was up, we was up. No what we we got?
- 29:39Speaker 4: I don't win.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Into New England and Corey Davis had his first touchdown
- 29:44Speaker 1: of the year in that game in the back half
- 29:46Speaker 1: of the en zone where we run out. Other than that,
- 29:48Speaker 1: we didn't do.
- 29:49Speaker 4: We were winning to that special team memory. They jumped
- 29:51Speaker 4: off sides and then they gave them a first down
- 29:53Speaker 4: and that's when Tom Brady started picking us.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Well, at what point of the game was up.
- 29:56Speaker 4: It was probably second quarter, second third quarter.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yeah, there was not a whole lot. We were not.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Man, we should we could have. We could have beat
- 30:03Speaker 4: them though, It's just our team gave up. It was like, oh, yeah,
- 30:07Speaker 4: this is we can't win.
- 30:08Speaker 1: The Patriots wins the Super Bowl that year, yeah, and lost.
- 30:12Speaker 4: That was yeah, they lost.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I might be jumping around a lot of different games,
- 30:17Speaker 1: but I specifically remember being in New England game Andy
- 30:21Speaker 1: Davis catching his first touch on it was there a
- 30:23Speaker 1: crazy catch, caught it, Like.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Yeah, he caught it. But it wasn't forty seven because
- 30:27Speaker 4: that game was the one I ran over old Buddy
- 30:29Speaker 4: over and I went, you know, I ran for like
- 30:32Speaker 4: seventy yards for a touchdown.
- 30:33Speaker 1: It was a regular season game.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Yeah, but it wasn't that when they beat us bad.
- 30:36Speaker 4: That game wasn't the playoffs. They beat US forty something.
- 30:40Speaker 4: What year was Itok, two thousand and sixteen.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Since we're talking Titans, do we have a reaction to
- 30:45Speaker 2: ring cards on being fired? Damn?
- 30:49Speaker 4: Yeah, man, that's fucked up.
- 30:50Speaker 2: You're tight in. I feel like with the Titans a
- 30:52Speaker 2: little bit.
- 30:53Speaker 4: I am tied in, but I don't make decisions at
- 30:55Speaker 4: the end of the day.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Surprise are you surprised by the.
- 30:57Speaker 4: I'm kind of surprised by the firing. I didn't think
- 31:00Speaker 4: I thought he would have got one more year to
- 31:02Speaker 4: you know, try to build that roster.
- 31:04Speaker 2: The ross a pretty solid what he had.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I did too, you know. But at the end of
- 31:09Speaker 4: the day, it's this new era of two years and out.
- 31:14Speaker 4: You don't do nothing in two years, you out, Like.
- 31:17Speaker 2: What surprises me is, you know, it's like they fired
- 31:20Speaker 2: j Rob, keep Rabel Yep, they're bringing Ran yep.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Then they go with Rain and Rabel. Then they fired Rabel,
- 31:26Speaker 3: so they have Ran. Then they bring in Callahan, then
- 31:28Speaker 3: they fire Rand Timbo.
- 31:29Speaker 2: They keep rying. Then they now they fired Ran and
- 31:32Speaker 2: keep Calahan. They're just not on the same It's the
- 31:35Speaker 2: aligned in anything at the top.
- 31:36Speaker 4: It's whoever new it's gonna stay and the O is
- 31:39Speaker 4: gonna go.
- 31:40Speaker 3: But don't you think they need to be like two
- 31:42Speaker 3: of the same, Like you need to bring in a
- 31:44Speaker 3: GM and a head coach that they're both on the
- 31:47Speaker 3: same page and pushing the same boat, have kind of
- 31:49Speaker 3: the same ideas. They're the ones in the room making
- 31:51Speaker 3: decisions with each other, like doing it all their way.
- 31:55Speaker 4: But it's like behind the scenes, you know, it's really
- 31:57Speaker 4: like three gms. It's not just one it. Ran wasn't
- 32:01Speaker 4: the only GM.
- 32:03Speaker 2: He was just the face.
- 32:04Speaker 4: He was just the face because it's the other guy,
- 32:06Speaker 4: you know, the other guy named.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I know that we lost to the New England Patriots
- 32:10Speaker 1: thirty five to fourteen. That game, we scored seven in
- 32:12Speaker 1: the first quarter and seven and four. They scored twenty
- 32:15Speaker 1: one in the second quarter and seven in the third.
- 32:17Speaker 1: We were getting blown out and you balled he you
- 32:20Speaker 1: bawled out. Yeah, three catches for forty nine yards.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Balled out. I can't I can't help I'm the only
- 32:29Speaker 4: person on the team at that time.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Eric Decker. Eric Decker six catches eighty five yards. Corey
- 32:36Speaker 1: Davis five catches, sixty three yards.
- 32:37Speaker 4: I was being double team the whole game.
- 32:39Speaker 2: I'm just saying. I'm just saying, what I open.
- 32:41Speaker 4: It up for catch?
- 32:42Speaker 2: Bill Belichick?
- 32:43Speaker 4: Take there, you go?
- 32:46Speaker 1: What you mean stuff? I Ron Ran?
- 32:49Speaker 2: He was asking, do you know the name of the
- 32:50Speaker 2: other He's like, there's basically like Cody.
- 32:54Speaker 4: You know what I'm talking about.
- 32:55Speaker 2: The dude, white dude.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I know that he.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Gonna beat the GM. Now he gonna beat the GM
- 33:00Speaker 4: of the team. Watch he just they about to pass
- 33:02Speaker 4: the ranks to him, he gonna be in the same building,
- 33:06Speaker 4: So it ain't gonna be.
- 33:07Speaker 1: That sounds like a good Titans move. That douns a
- 33:08Speaker 1: good Titans move.
- 33:10Speaker 4: They ain't gonna they ain't gonna like just break it apart.
- 33:13Speaker 4: So it's gonna already be a guy that Bill uh
- 33:16Speaker 4: Klahan already knows. So it's not gonna be like, Oh,
- 33:18Speaker 4: let's bring in another GM and start this ship over with.
- 33:21Speaker 4: It's not gonna be like that. That's why that move
- 33:24Speaker 4: was so easy. I think.
- 33:25Speaker 1: My personal opinion is the Titans have an interesting situation
- 33:28Speaker 1: when it comes to football minded people in suits, and
- 33:31Speaker 1: I don't I think Amy's kind of pulled in a
- 33:33Speaker 1: direction of which one she should really listen to, because
- 33:35Speaker 1: suits don't know the game of football at all, but
- 33:37Speaker 1: they make a lot of sense because they speak the
- 33:38Speaker 1: same languages as her. And then there's the football minded
- 33:42Speaker 1: people who understand the game but don't necessarily speak the
- 33:45Speaker 1: language to Amy out of strong fully process and understand.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Everything I've heard about Ran is speculation. It's things that
- 33:52Speaker 1: I've just been heard or told or whatever. My understanding
- 33:56Speaker 1: is that he was a GM that had to report
- 33:58Speaker 1: to multiple people to make roster, which is very you know,
- 34:01Speaker 1: not normal for a team. Oh but if they're gonna
- 34:05Speaker 1: make an internal move, Like, if they make an internal move,
- 34:08Speaker 1: that just means that that piece of information that I had.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Was true, true, Yeah, it was right.
- 34:13Speaker 2: You know.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I like Rand he was also on the show. He's
- 34:16Speaker 1: one of those cats, like you're around him, you love
- 34:18Speaker 1: to be around him. Yeah, but he did come from
- 34:21Speaker 1: a successful franchise, came from the forty nine nineties. I
- 34:24Speaker 1: mean he's he was a stud. There fount some good cats.
- 34:26Speaker 4: A lot of dudes love him on the Niners man
- 34:29Speaker 4: all right.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Last game in the NFC Vikings at the Rams Vikings
- 34:33Speaker 3: favorite by one and a half.
- 34:34Speaker 2: The over under on this game's forty seven and a half.
- 34:36Speaker 3: I've kind of conflicted because of the way the Lions
- 34:38Speaker 3: beat the shit out of.
- 34:39Speaker 2: The Vikings last week. I got Stafford in the playoffs. McVeigh,
- 34:42Speaker 2: you got a little bit of magic.
- 34:45Speaker 4: I'm a follow. Let me see what y'all gotta say, because.
- 34:47Speaker 3: I'm not really I'm gonna be honest. This is the
- 34:49Speaker 3: one game where I'm kind of like split.
- 34:51Speaker 2: I don't know, Yeah, I don't know.
- 34:53Speaker 3: I love the matchup, I love Kevin O'Connell and Sammy
- 34:57Speaker 3: dee versus McVeigh and Stafford. I think they've both had
- 35:01Speaker 3: incredible seasons in their own respect. I love what the
- 35:03Speaker 3: Vikings have done all year long, like up until they
- 35:06Speaker 3: got just whooped by the Lions and Control last week.
- 35:09Speaker 3: I'm sitting here thinking, like, yo, this could be the
- 35:10Speaker 3: better team in the NFC than the Lions because the
- 35:12Speaker 3: Lions have had so many injuries on defense.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But the Lions just show time and time again.
- 35:16Speaker 3: That the culture that the next man up mental you,
- 35:18Speaker 3: that everything that they got, the stuff that they're made
- 35:20Speaker 3: of that Dan Campbell talks about they have.
- 35:22Speaker 2: So I am I'm kind of torn on this game.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm being a prisoner of the moment.
- 35:26Speaker 3: I'm thinking, Man, maybe the Vikings are one and done
- 35:28Speaker 3: in the playoffs this year against the Rams. I'm gonna
- 35:32Speaker 3: go Vikings. I've kind of been I've kind of been
- 35:35Speaker 3: on them all year long. I want to see them win.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I'm like rooting for them in a way. Yeah, So
- 35:40Speaker 2: I'm gonna go Vikings.
- 35:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna take the Vikings here, but it's gonna be
- 35:42Speaker 3: tough to go out to La that young defense has
- 35:44Speaker 3: gotten better. You got Fisk, you got Verse, who made
- 35:46Speaker 3: his Pro Bowl as a rookie. Uh, they've been firing
- 35:49Speaker 3: as of late. They got a lot of weapons on offenses.
- 35:53Speaker 1: I think having the head coach have experience in these
- 36:00Speaker 1: types of games is going to play a huge factor
- 36:02Speaker 1: in these things. You look at the last couple of
- 36:04Speaker 1: games of the season, they end up winning five straight.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Going into the last week, they end up seeing a
- 36:07Speaker 1: bunch of their starters. A lot of teams had the
- 36:10Speaker 1: are they gonna sit guys or they're not gonna sit
- 36:12Speaker 1: guys when we set when we shot the show last week,
- 36:14Speaker 1: were like sae Quon Barkley, He's gonna go off, and
- 36:16Speaker 1: like literally twenty was not playing the minute the Rams
- 36:20Speaker 1: kind of were what they were in the playoffs, Sean
- 36:21Speaker 1: McVay is like, I'm sitting all my goodness, that's what
- 36:24Speaker 1: I'm doing. The Rams beat the Vike's. Earlier in the
- 36:26Speaker 1: year they didn't have TJ. Howkinson. However, you know, I
- 36:30Speaker 1: think Sean knowing how to feel this pressure and how
- 36:33Speaker 1: to have his team understand what's going into it. I
- 36:35Speaker 1: think Stafford in the playoffs is as dangerous as dangerous gets.
- 36:39Speaker 1: They've been a sneaky team all year long, and the
- 36:41Speaker 1: NFC West headgory that was having a really difficult time
- 36:44Speaker 1: shaking itself out until we got to the end of
- 36:46Speaker 1: the season. I like the Rams. I like their juice
- 36:50Speaker 1: going into this game. I feel for the Vikings because
- 36:52Speaker 1: they are a team that you know wasn't as high
- 36:54Speaker 1: on him as Will was. However, it's awesome to see
- 36:57Speaker 1: O'Connell and that culture and everybody on a round around
- 37:00Speaker 1: a guy like Sam Darnold. That kind of stuff fires
- 37:02Speaker 1: me up. How big does that blowing defeat affect that
- 37:06Speaker 1: locker room going to last week? How quickly can you
- 37:07Speaker 1: turn the page is the question they have to ask themselves.
- 37:10Speaker 1: But I think the Rams it being at the Rams
- 37:13Speaker 1: is a win.
- 37:15Speaker 2: That's a win.
- 37:15Speaker 1: You don't have to travel, You stay in your area,
- 37:17Speaker 1: not going to a cold air, a cold area. Even
- 37:19Speaker 1: though it's played in the Dome, there's still the weather,
- 37:21Speaker 1: there's still the holy shit, it's cold when you're walking
- 37:23Speaker 1: in from Hollywod Hallway. It's a different environment. These guys
- 37:26Speaker 1: need to stay at home. They are strong at the
- 37:29Speaker 1: end of the year, and that's kind of where my
- 37:31Speaker 1: picks have all been this week, but you kind of
- 37:33Speaker 1: see that consistency when you watch the playoffs from years past.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna think the Rams money line, I think the Rams.
- 37:38Speaker 1: I think the Rams win this game. It's one and
- 37:39Speaker 1: a half spread. It's really a pick them. I'm gonna
- 37:41Speaker 1: think the Rams.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna take the Rams too. I just after
- 37:44Speaker 4: the Lions put the fuck Stafford sign up after the game,
- 37:47Speaker 4: I'm like, why my man taking shots of uncounted shots
- 37:50Speaker 4: for I think he just take it straight and he
- 37:54Speaker 4: need to get back to I know he want to
- 37:56Speaker 4: play them lines, get that opportunity to show those boys.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Yeah, so that's that's such a cool trade because when
- 38:03Speaker 1: you watch the trade happening, you're like, holy ship, the
- 38:05Speaker 1: Rams just dummy the Lions in this trade. They go
- 38:08Speaker 1: win a Super Bowl and then it's like, all right, Lions,
- 38:12Speaker 1: that sucks for you guys. Now all of a sudden,
- 38:13Speaker 1: Jared Goff is playing the way he is and they're like,
- 38:15Speaker 1: Goson is prime though, like they might have got him
- 38:17Speaker 1: at the right time. I know. So it is. It
- 38:20Speaker 1: is a cool little like both of them have won
- 38:22Speaker 1: the trade. It's a fair.
- 38:23Speaker 4: It was a great trade. Yeah, honestly great trade.
- 38:26Speaker 1: I kind of love the Lions telling Stafford to go
- 38:28Speaker 1: fuck himself because you know, as soon as he retires,
- 38:30Speaker 1: are like, we love you so much. In the heat
- 38:32Speaker 1: of the moment, he's not for the other team, Like
- 38:36Speaker 1: that's that's just a that's a cool fan base move.
- 38:38Speaker 1: And I'm Stafford, I'm.
- 38:40Speaker 4: So salty his wife be salty.
- 38:43Speaker 1: So mad about it. But when as soon as he retired,
- 38:47Speaker 1: he's probably gonna go back.
- 38:48Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he gonna be the man there. Probably he
- 38:50Speaker 4: will be.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I think he's been at the Rams for a minute though,
- 38:54Speaker 1: but he does established so the Bengals for ten years
- 38:57Speaker 1: and then went and played for the Rams. For saying,
- 38:59Speaker 1: now with the Rams, with the Rams exactly.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Huh if golf wins Stafford, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, was
- 39:09Speaker 3: doing incredible things to the Lions when they were Ship.
- 39:11Speaker 4: I know ship, and he done a lot in the city.
- 39:13Speaker 2: A lot in yeah, for the city.
- 39:16Speaker 4: So yeah, because he.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Was he was when I was.
- 39:24Speaker 3: When I was watching the Lions Vikings game, it was
- 39:26Speaker 3: like fourth and two on the goal, like on the
- 39:29Speaker 3: goal line, and Justin Jefferson got open, he got enough
- 39:34Speaker 3: separation to where saying was coming from the pocket and
- 39:37Speaker 3: just misses him, and to me, I watched that play
- 39:39Speaker 3: and I was like, that, right, there might be the
- 39:42Speaker 3: difference in the playoff game because playoff veteran quarterbacks that
- 39:46Speaker 3: have been making are built for those moments like that
- 39:49Speaker 3: ain't a miss. My homes ain't missing that he was missing.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Josh Allen's not missing that throw.
- 39:55Speaker 1: But Stafford Jackson, you got the playoffs.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Playoffs.
- 40:02Speaker 2: That's the only reason I was by Joe Brow because
- 40:04Speaker 2: Joe Burrow's up.
- 40:05Speaker 3: But that that play right there was like, ah, fuck,
- 40:08Speaker 3: the Vikings might not be a playoff team this year.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Like that, he was playing terrible. To me, I'm sorry,
- 40:12Speaker 4: I guesst like he plays Oh.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, I mean yeah, I mean they got blown.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Out he was playing.
- 40:18Speaker 2: I mean they got to take no reds.
- 40:20Speaker 1: And only came in with three points.
- 40:21Speaker 3: The ukers are gonna sit back and sit there and
- 40:23Speaker 3: thinking about throwing this guy forty fifty million dollars plays
- 40:27Speaker 3: they specifically look at and think like, those are the
- 40:30Speaker 3: ones you gotta make.
- 40:31Speaker 4: And that was always against those teams because they sitting
- 40:34Speaker 4: up there like that's why we're not paying them.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Right personally, in the worst situation in that building is
- 40:39Speaker 1: JJ McCarthy.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Yeah, if he does bad, like they're still like, let's
- 40:46Speaker 1: say they go to JJ that next year. If they
- 40:48Speaker 1: don't match the they have, Like, everyone's gonna be looking
- 40:52Speaker 1: at JJ like, Yo, you.
- 40:53Speaker 4: Get this motherfucker out of here.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Get him out of here. We're saying we need sam Ba.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Meanwhile he's going, you know, five hundred at the type.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Yea. I have good news, hell, yes, good news boys.
- 41:04Speaker 3: I have a plus one thousand fireballs far who Yeah.
- 41:09Speaker 3: The Fireballsy parlay this week is brought to us by
- 41:11Speaker 3: Fireball fire Balls. A perfect shot for game day, whether
- 41:13Speaker 3: you're sneaking in the or whether you're buying these sneaky
- 41:15Speaker 3: little shoes before going into the stadium, or going big
- 41:18Speaker 3: with the fireball k for your tailgate, the pregame shot
- 41:21Speaker 3: and the tailgate lot, or a sebratory touchdown shot at
- 41:23Speaker 3: the bar, no matter what, it's guaranteed doing night your
- 41:25Speaker 3: game day.
- 41:26Speaker 2: Boys, Listen up. I have a parlay for you that's
- 41:28Speaker 2: here partly for you, all right.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Chargers money line love it, Steelers Ravens under forty three
- 41:38Speaker 3: and a half. Love that good, Buccaneers money line love it,
- 41:42Speaker 3: Packers Eagles over forty five and a half. Okay, Bill's
- 41:47Speaker 3: money line, those five picks plus one thousand and forty six.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Lock it in now before the sportsman finds out.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Hey, wait, what you say about the Buck? What's the hitter?
- 42:00Speaker 4: Would you say about the Bucks?
- 42:04Speaker 3: I know, I know, but I'm just you gotta think
- 42:06Speaker 3: that these offense are gonna be on attack that without
- 42:10Speaker 3: that pick, without that one, it's plus four ninety five.
- 42:18Speaker 2: That's why. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. You gotta take
- 42:23Speaker 2: a risk. Let's go for it, let's go.
- 42:25Speaker 4: Wait, say it one war time brock in.
- 42:30Speaker 3: All right, Chargers money line, Bucks money line, Bill's money line,
