- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Almost Famous Podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hi, everybody.
- 0:07Speaker 3: This is Trista Sutter. And Deanna Pappas is sitting right
- 0:10Speaker 3: next to me. And we are going to recap Dancing
- 0:12Speaker 3: with the Stars last night. I was in town. We're
- 0:16Speaker 3: in the Brentwood studios. And I was in town actually
- 0:20Speaker 3: for the show because I got to take Blakeslee and
- 0:24Speaker 3: three of her dance besties to the show. And it
- 0:27Speaker 3: was like, you guys... Dreams came true last night. Like
- 0:32Speaker 3: these girls were in, like, I don't even know that
- 0:36Speaker 3: they knew what heaven was until they.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Got to the show last night. I would imagine like
- 0:41Speaker 2: you're the coolest mom.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Like if I had to like grow up, Blakeslee is
- 0:45Speaker 4: probably like super popular.
- 0:47Speaker 2: You know what I mean? The kids are like, oh
- 0:48Speaker 2: my God, her mom was on TV. Oh, not necessarily.
- 0:51Speaker 3: But I feel like, yeah, I probably scored some brownie
- 0:53Speaker 3: points last night.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Flying all these girls to Los Angeles, taking them to
- 0:57Speaker 4: Dancing with the Stars.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You guys sat like just a few rows back. We
- 1:01Speaker 2: were right behind.
- 1:02Speaker 3: So Phaedra was in the front row and then who
- 1:06Speaker 3: is amazing.
- 1:07Speaker 2: We'll talk about that.
- 1:08Speaker 3: And then Danielle Fishel and her lovely husband were sitting
- 1:13Speaker 3: right behind Phaedra. And then I was sitting right behind Danielle.
- 1:17Speaker 3: And yes, we were right there. And actually someone commented that.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You guys had really good seats. And I was like,
- 1:25Speaker 2: I mean, I didn't put in a lot of work
- 1:27Speaker 2: on the show, but I was on the show back
- 1:29Speaker 2: in the day.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I was looking for you like as soon as the
- 1:32Speaker 4: show turned on. I was like looking for you.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Where's my friend? Where's my friend?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Well, and I put out a story on Instagram because
- 1:39Speaker 3: I was like, whoever's going to watch the show, I
- 1:41Speaker 3: was like, look for us.
- 1:42Speaker 2: I'm right between the judges and the band.
- 1:46Speaker 4: It was actually a really great shot because you looked
- 1:48Speaker 4: so joyfully happy clapping away.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And then I could see Blakeslee and I could see
- 1:52Speaker 2: her friends and they just like, I mean, eyes lit.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I mean. Like constantly.
- 1:56Speaker 3: You guys, the amount of pictures that were taken last night,
- 1:59Speaker 3: I cannot even tell you. It was dreams come true.
- 2:03Speaker 3: So I really, like if I had billions of dollars...
- 2:08Speaker 3: that is what I would do with my money is
- 2:10Speaker 3: just light.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Up people's lives with joy.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Like I, it was, it is the best feeling in
- 2:16Speaker 3: the world, that energy, like their energy the entire time
- 2:20Speaker 3: from the second we left Denver to when we, like
- 2:25Speaker 3: even this morning, I mean, they probably can't sleep even
- 2:27Speaker 3: though we're exhausted.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So anyway, okay.
- 2:31Speaker 3: So the energy in the ballroom, you guys, I was
- 2:34Speaker 3: just saying this before we started taping. You know, we
- 2:38Speaker 3: come on here every week and we talk about, we
- 2:42Speaker 3: like break down the recap. We talk about everyone's dances,
- 2:47Speaker 3: what we liked, what we didn't, you know, all of
- 2:48Speaker 3: those things. I was thinking to myself, I don't even
- 2:53Speaker 3: know what I'm going to say in the podcast tomorrow.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I mean, we'll be talking about who I saw in
- 2:58Speaker 3: the ballroom and all of the dances, obviously, but I really,
- 3:03Speaker 3: the energy in the ballroom is electric. When I was on,
- 3:08Speaker 3: it was only the seats on the first floor, essentially.
- 3:14Speaker 4: You mean years ago when you were on the season? Yes,
- 3:18Speaker 4: when it was not a packed house like what we see.
- 3:20Speaker 2: No, no, it was a packed house. It just was
- 3:22Speaker 2: the only level was the first level. They have three
- 3:25Speaker 2: levels of people now. And it is just... the energy is,
- 3:31Speaker 2: it's electric.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Mind you, they do have a guy who's like a
- 3:34Speaker 3: hype man and he like claps and gets everyone excited.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I feel like that would be a pretty solid job.
- 3:39Speaker 2: No kidding. I should like do that. I think that's
- 3:42Speaker 2: what I, that's my next career move. I could do that.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You can totally do that. Get ready to scream. Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I mean, he does kind of like embarrass himself sometimes
- 3:52Speaker 3: I feel like just because he's like, cut everybody when
- 3:56Speaker 3: everyone's kind of like, you know, in the zone.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:58Speaker 3: But It is electric being in the ballroom. And I
- 4:05Speaker 3: feel like they do a really, like you can sense
- 4:07Speaker 3: it when we're watching, right? You can sense the energy
- 4:10Speaker 3: in the ballroom.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I have also gone and sat in the audience and
- 4:14Speaker 2: dancing with the stars. And so I would agree.
- 4:16Speaker 4: But I think they do a very good job of-
- 4:19Speaker 4: of portraying that on the television show. When I am
- 4:21Speaker 4: watching it, like I'm laying cozy in my bed and
- 4:23Speaker 4: I'm all happy as can be, but the show feels
- 4:26Speaker 4: electric on my television screen. But it is, you are right.
- 4:29Speaker 4: We're sitting here now talking about it, not in it.
- 4:31Speaker 4: But when you are there, it's tenfold. At least tenfold.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Like it is so amazing.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:39Speaker 3: So Danielle Fishel sat in front of me and gosh,
- 4:43Speaker 3: how did we get started Oh, she, the whole way
- 4:48Speaker 3: we got to talking was she was recording Emma Slater.
- 4:52Speaker 3: She was up in the Skybox and it was, I
- 4:54Speaker 3: don't know if it wasn't during a commercial break, but
- 4:57Speaker 3: maybe it was when Alfonso was talking or something. And she,
- 5:00Speaker 3: Emma was just mowing on something, like eating something. And
- 5:04Speaker 3: she got a closeup video of her. And of course,
- 5:07Speaker 3: because she was sitting right in front of me, I
- 5:10Speaker 3: saw her taking the video and I had to say,
- 5:12Speaker 3: I was like, that was amazing. Like that is totally
- 5:15Speaker 3: going to be a meme, like all over the place,
- 5:17Speaker 3: going to be a meme. And anyway, we got to
- 5:20Speaker 3: talking and I said, we're I heart family.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And you know, how are you?
- 5:23Speaker 3: And she's like, Oh my gosh, gave me a huge hug. Um,
- 5:26Speaker 3: her husband is so kind and sweet. Um, So that
- 5:32Speaker 3: was amazing. Got to see Joe Buck as we were
- 5:35Speaker 3: walking in. Got to see JoJo Siwa, who is like
- 5:39Speaker 3: besties with Tyler, with your man, with Tyler Cameron.
- 5:42Speaker 2: And I will get into Tyler. I'll get into Tyler.
- 5:45Speaker 2: She's been there a couple of times already this season.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she goes every time. I feel like every
- 5:49Speaker 2: single episode she's been there. Okay. And met Tate as
- 5:53Speaker 2: we were walking in as well. She's super cute. I
- 5:56Speaker 2: love her. She's very cute. Love her.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I was like, welcome to the Bachelor Nation family. I'm like,
- 6:01Speaker 3: I know you're not married yet, but you're part of
- 6:03Speaker 3: our bachelor nation.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Me and my friend Deanna love you and your boyfriend.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I did not say that. Creepy old lady, creepy old lady. No,
- 6:13Speaker 2: it was so funny. So they were kind of.
- 6:16Speaker 3: What we walked into like Jojo Siwa, which these girls
- 6:20Speaker 3: grew up like idolizing.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Well, I imagine your girls too. Yeah. Isn't she from dance?
- 6:26Speaker 2: That's what I mean. They grew up idolizing her. So
- 6:28Speaker 2: your girls were probably like mind blown.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I know.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So we see them.
- 6:34Speaker 3: And then Camry, who is in the troop is a
- 6:38Speaker 3: competitive dancer, like grew up in the same world that
- 6:40Speaker 3: Blakeslee and her friends grew up in, in competitive dance.
- 6:43Speaker 3: And they know Camry from taking classes and whatever. And
- 6:47Speaker 3: so we walk in to see her, which was amazing.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And then we see Joey and Blakeslee ever since the wedding,
- 6:57Speaker 3: the golden wedding. And Joey had had some drinks that night.
- 7:01Speaker 3: And we sat at the bar, me and Blakeslee and Joey,
- 7:03Speaker 3: and he just talked to her about life and gave
- 7:06Speaker 3: her the best advice.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And she ever since then. He is very cute. I
- 7:10Speaker 2: saw him in the audience.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yes.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Obviously far too young for me, but he's very cute.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Like he's really handsome on television.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't watch his season. You know what
- 7:21Speaker 2: I mean? Oh, Deanna, you missed a good season. His
- 7:23Speaker 2: season was amazing. Oh, okay.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Amazing.
- 7:25Speaker 2: The girls thought along.
- 7:25Speaker 4: In all of my free time, I'll go back and
- 7:27Speaker 4: watch it. Yeah, in all of your free time, exactly.
- 7:30Speaker 4: But I was looking at him in the audience.
- 7:31Speaker 2: He's a handsome guy.
- 7:32Speaker 3: He's very handsome. And he's just coming off of Traders,
- 7:35Speaker 3: which will be amazing. And he was sitting next to
- 7:37Speaker 3: Dylan Efron.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Who is very handsome. That is the one person. Very handsome.
- 7:41Speaker 3: He's the one person I did not get to say
- 7:44Speaker 3: hi to last night and meet, and I'm heartbroken about it.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Very handsome. Very handsome. I saw the two of them
- 7:50Speaker 2: right away. I was like, oh, very handsome.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Yes, they're amazing. Sharna got to talk to Sharna and Tyler.
- 7:58Speaker 3: We had a very long conversation. Well, very long in the...
- 8:02Speaker 3: the realm of.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Like, it's okay. Don't hold out on me.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Just tell me exactly what you said. Please lay it
- 8:07Speaker 4: all out. Did you let him know that we.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Are covering him on our podcast? Trista.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I know I should have, but I was like, well,
- 8:17Speaker 3: I also feel like sometimes like, yes, I post, I
- 8:21Speaker 3: posted about it.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Not that he's following me or anything, but he doesn't
- 8:23Speaker 2: follow me either. Um, you weren't like, hi, I'm not
- 8:29Speaker 2: sure if you're aware, but we have this podcast where
- 8:31Speaker 2: we follow you on dancing with the stars. It's a
- 8:33Speaker 2: whole reason why we're doing this. Trista. No, I, we were.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Talking about the bachelor and just about how excited I
- 8:41Speaker 3: am for him.
- 8:42Speaker 2: You guys, we're going to get it actually.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Nevermind.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I'll save this for the end. Um, he, he is
- 8:48Speaker 3: a tall drink of water. Oh, like you have an
- 8:52Speaker 3: obsession with him watching him on television.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yeah. If you met him in person, I think you'd
- 8:57Speaker 2: be a puddle.
- 8:58Speaker 4: And maybe that is just, like, I'm being saved from
- 9:00Speaker 4: myself now, which is why our paths have never crossed,
- 9:03Speaker 4: so that I don't get really weird. But, like, if
- 9:06Speaker 4: he's that tall and handsome on a show.
- 9:10Speaker 2: My girls, Blakeslee and her friends, were like.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I mean, if you can see my face, it's like,
- 9:18Speaker 2: you know, like, wow. And they kept saying he's hot.
- 9:22Speaker 2: He's hot. He's very good looking. He's a looker. He's
- 9:27Speaker 2: a looker, people.
- 9:29Speaker 3: And extremely nice, extremely kind, like very welcoming. At first,
- 9:35Speaker 3: he didn't know who I was. He thought I was
- 9:37Speaker 3: some creeper fan.
- 9:39Speaker 4: That's what he would think, actually, like these two old ladies.
- 9:43Speaker 4: He probably just thinks we're fans.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 9:45Speaker 4: He doesn't know that we come from the same franchise,
- 9:48Speaker 4: but he would probably think, oh, these two old ladies.
- 9:50Speaker 3: I actually, I think we were talking to Dina. I
- 9:52Speaker 3: was talking to Dina, and then he came up, and
- 9:56Speaker 3: and I was like, Oh, blah, blah.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Like kept talking.
- 9:59Speaker 3: And then I was like, Tyler, hi, I'm, I'm Trista Sutter.
- 10:03Speaker 2: And he's like, then the light bulb went off and
- 10:05Speaker 2: he's like, Oh my God, you're a legend or something
- 10:08Speaker 2: like that. I don't, I don't know, but he is amazing. Like, yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 4: He lives up to the hype in person. Well, I
- 10:16Speaker 4: won't hold it against you that you didn't even throw
- 10:18Speaker 4: my name in there. We'll have to talk about that later.
- 10:20Speaker 2: You know, I'm sorry. Not enough time this morning.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I literally, like, my brain was so scattered, like, trying
- 10:25Speaker 3: to take care of the girls, trying to, like, I.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Wanted to, because I'm a fan.
- 10:28Speaker 4: She couldn't even do her girl a solid. She couldn't
- 10:32Speaker 4: even do her girl a solid. So I know that
- 10:35Speaker 4: you're there for some time, you and the girls. Do
- 10:38Speaker 4: they pass out refreshments or something? Because I would imagine
- 10:41Speaker 4: people get hungry and thirsty in the audience. Okay, this
- 10:43Speaker 4: is like a plane ride, right? So on a plane ride,
- 10:47Speaker 4: they give you like a little bag of pretzels or whatever. Um, no,
- 10:51Speaker 4: there are no refreshments provided to the audience. If you
- 10:55Speaker 4: wanted to bring something, I believe you could not, not
- 10:58Speaker 4: like a bag of food.
- 10:59Speaker 2: But like a bottle of water.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Yeah. I feel like you could probably bring in a
- 11:03Speaker 3: bottle of water. I don't know because we didn't try,
- 11:06Speaker 3: but there is, um, the girls were parched and there's
- 11:10Speaker 3: a whole craft services like backstage where we were. Um,
- 11:15Speaker 3: but not for, not for everyday folk.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:20Speaker 2: In my head, I thought Trista was going to be like,
- 11:22Speaker 2: not for the common folk. You would have to be
- 11:27Speaker 2: reality television.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Royalty like myself in order to get a bag of pretzels.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That's not what I'm saying.
- 11:33Speaker 3: But I feel like the people who, like Carly, my
- 11:35Speaker 3: friend who I met for dinner afterwards, she was in
- 11:39Speaker 3: the audience and they had to wait in line to
- 11:42Speaker 3: actually get in. And they were not allowed to stay after, which...
- 11:49Speaker 3: was like a highlight for the girls.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I would imagine too.
- 11:51Speaker 4: It's probably one of those shows, like you can get
- 11:54Speaker 4: on to like the prices, right?
- 11:55Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Any day you can just pop down and wait online.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I would imagine Dancing with the Stars is not the same.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It's the same.
- 12:00Speaker 4: People are probably, but they're probably going online and getting
- 12:04Speaker 4: their tickets well in advance.
- 12:05Speaker 2: No, I believe you have to wait in line in person. Wow.
- 12:08Speaker 2: In the morning. That's dedication.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Or maybe in the afternoon. I know that Carly and
- 12:12Speaker 3: her friend had like tickets.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 12:15Speaker 3: So they were given like a time to show up.
- 12:18Speaker 3: But I do believe there are also people who you
- 12:20Speaker 3: can wait in line in person. I mean, correct me
- 12:22Speaker 3: if I'm wrong.
- 12:23Speaker 4: In comparison to like The Bachelor, when they do like
- 12:25Speaker 4: the after the final rose and they open up the
- 12:27Speaker 4: audience for people like that, usually they get those tickets
- 12:30Speaker 4: in advance. They don't just let people show up and
- 12:32Speaker 4: like fill seats.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Got it. I assumed it was like that because it's
- 12:35Speaker 2: dancing with the stars.
- 12:37Speaker 3: I just recently saw an Instagram post where people were like,
- 12:40Speaker 3: someone was like, um, here's how I got tickets to
- 12:42Speaker 3: Dancing with the Stars. And she said she got there
- 12:45Speaker 3: at eight in the morning or something like that, which like, listen, again, people,
- 12:49Speaker 3: I do not know if this is something that you
- 12:51Speaker 3: want to do. I would do your research and obviously
- 12:53Speaker 3: not with me.
- 12:54Speaker 2: I don't know my advice. Yeah, exactly. Okay.
- 12:57Speaker 3: So we'll get into the recap and then I'm sure
- 12:59Speaker 3: other stuff will come up. But so Donald Driver and
- 13:02Speaker 3: Emmett opened the show and it was super because it
- 13:05Speaker 3: was Super Bowl night.
- 13:06Speaker 2: It was so fun.
- 13:07Speaker 3: They played songs from super bowl halftime shows.
- 13:11Speaker 2: And it was like energy.
- 13:14Speaker 4: I really enjoyed the music on this episode, but it's
- 13:16Speaker 4: like right in my like era, you know what I mean?
- 13:19Speaker 2: But I really enjoyed the.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Music on this episode of dancing with the stars. It
- 13:24Speaker 4: was really a lot of fun.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I got to give a big hug to Ray, Rachel live,
- 13:28Speaker 3: who is the, the musical talent on the show.
- 13:31Speaker 2: It's his band. He's a genius. Like, I feel like
- 13:34Speaker 2: they did such a good job. Truly.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Okay, so Joe Buck was the guest judge, and I
- 13:41Speaker 3: love Joe Buck as a St.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Louis native. He's from St.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Louis.
- 13:45Speaker 3: He just moved to Denver. His wife was a Denver
- 13:48Speaker 3: Bronco cheerleader. Blakeslee was a junior Denver Bronco cheerleader. I
- 13:51Speaker 3: have friends who are Denver Bronco cheerleaders. So I just,
- 13:55Speaker 3: I was in heaven getting to see them.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Is this part of the show where they bring in
- 13:59Speaker 2: guest judges throughout each season?
- 14:01Speaker 3: Yes. At the end, usually they'll sprinkle in a few.
- 14:06Speaker 3: I know that Kim Johnson, who was on the show
- 14:09Speaker 3: as a pro, and I think she's won twice, is
- 14:12Speaker 3: going to be the guest judge next week. Okay.
- 14:14Speaker 4: And then I noticed that the scoring bracket changed, right?
- 14:18Speaker 4: Doesn't it usually just go to like 30 and then
- 14:20Speaker 4: last night they gave them to 40 because there's an
- 14:22Speaker 4: extra judge?
- 14:23Speaker 2: Is that the case? Yeah. Okay. Yes, exactly. I'm catching on.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Because you can have 10 points per judge and since
- 14:30Speaker 3: there's four judges, yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Okay. Okay. they didn't like break them down to five each.
- 14:34Speaker 2: You know what I mean? He was very generous, Joe. Extremely.
- 14:37Speaker 3: And that's the opportunity for people to get higher scores
- 14:42Speaker 3: when the guest judge is there. Because usually the guest
- 14:44Speaker 3: judge is not super critical. They're the ones that are like,
- 14:48Speaker 3: here's a nine for you when everybody else got an eight,
- 14:51Speaker 3: you know?
- 14:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Yes. It's a great opportunity for that. Okay. He's,
- 14:56Speaker 2: He's a consummate pro. I mean, you know who Joe Buck.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Is, right?
- 14:59Speaker 2: Like, his voice. I really don't. I'm so sorry. But,
- 15:02Speaker 2: I mean, you have to watch any kind of sports. Like,
- 15:05Speaker 2: come on. His voice is like, what, really? You don't
- 15:08Speaker 2: know who Joe Buck is?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Ah!
- 15:11Speaker 2: It's fine. But I knew who JoJo Siwa was. Ah!
- 15:15Speaker 2: That's great. I love it. But it's really interesting.
- 15:18Speaker 4: NFL is not my strong suit. I watch college football.
- 15:20Speaker 4: You've got plenty of other strong suits.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:22Speaker 2: It's all good.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Yes, of course.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I'm off the hook for this one. Okay.
- 15:27Speaker 3: So dance one, right out the gate, one of my favorites,
- 15:30Speaker 3: Mara and Mark. She in person. Like, she's stunning on film.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Is she tall? On television. She's not that tall.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Like, I just expect her to be, like, on screen,
- 15:41Speaker 4: she looks very tall and lean. Maybe it's just the
- 15:44Speaker 4: way she dances.
- 15:44Speaker 3: So she had heels on when I met her, and no,
- 15:49Speaker 3: I had heels on, too.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Mine were platform.
- 15:51Speaker 3: She was a little bit taller than me, but no,
- 15:53Speaker 3: I feel like she's probably around 5'4, maybe. Like, she's
- 15:58Speaker 3: not super tall, but she is gorgeous, and I will
- 16:00Speaker 3: say their dance... Just stunning. Her frame is beautiful. I
- 16:06Speaker 3: have said this before. I do want to see her
- 16:08Speaker 3: in the more Latin, like, salsa, rum, like, you know,
- 16:13Speaker 3: the more... A little bit more, like, feisty.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Cha-cha. Yes, exactly.
- 16:17Speaker 3: And I believe she has had a cha-cha, but she
- 16:20Speaker 3: does not disappoint.
- 16:22Speaker 2: She danced to Only Girl in the World by Rihanna.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Great hit. Her and Mark are just the most beautiful pairing.
- 16:31Speaker 3: And.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I, I loved it. I loved it. I, I thought
- 16:36Speaker 2: she did really great.
- 16:38Speaker 4: I think she is beautiful when, I don't know the terms,
- 16:41Speaker 4: but when she is in her poses with her head frame.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Frame, her frame.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Okay. I thought she did really well, but I noticed that, um,
- 16:49Speaker 4: Derek gave her, you know, some constructive feedback on her,
- 16:53Speaker 4: on her framing with her neck. He said it It
- 16:56Speaker 4: broke the line, I think is the word that he used.
- 16:58Speaker 2: He did, yeah. When she tilted her head back. I
- 17:00Speaker 2: didn't see that.
- 17:01Speaker 4: I thought she looked very beautiful and elegant, but maybe
- 17:05Speaker 4: to the common eye, I don't know.
- 17:07Speaker 2: But that was the only feedback where I was kind
- 17:08Speaker 2: of like, oh, I missed that one. I did too. Okay.
- 17:11Speaker 2: And I don't know a lot about the traditional barber dances.
- 17:14Speaker 2: But I think she always looks really beautiful. That's what
- 17:16Speaker 2: I mean.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I think she looks tall because she has these beautiful
- 17:19Speaker 4: arms and her frame when she is dancing is... always
- 17:23Speaker 4: looks really beautiful to me.
- 17:24Speaker 2: So beautiful.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And honestly, I feel like they, they, she had like
- 17:28Speaker 3: full on gloves. Like I think that continued, I think
- 17:31Speaker 3: there were gloves. So I feel like her arm, like
- 17:33Speaker 3: just the line of her arm continues to go down
- 17:35Speaker 3: to her fingers. Um, also I will say when Derek
- 17:39Speaker 3: made that note, I saw, cause they were standing right
- 17:42Speaker 3: next to us, you know, we were, we were right
- 17:44Speaker 3: by where the stars like come after their dance. And he,
- 17:48Speaker 3: as Derek said that, Mark like tapped her on the arm.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Like maybe that was something they had been working on.
- 17:54Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 17:55Speaker 3: Okay, so she got a 33 out of 40, a
- 17:58Speaker 3: nine from Joe Buck. I guess this was not her
- 18:01Speaker 3: first nine, but still getting a nine. Like I was like, yes,
- 18:05Speaker 3: she should have gotten all nines, I felt like. But
- 18:08Speaker 3: you know, it's all good.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I do feel like the judges are still holding back
- 18:11Speaker 2: a little bit. They totally are. And actually it came
- 18:14Speaker 2: up later that night.
- 18:16Speaker 3: Danielle's husband was like, we were both saying, literally he said,
- 18:24Speaker 3: they're holding back. And I was like, I'm thinking the
- 18:26Speaker 3: same thing. I think it was Ezra's routine. I'm like,
- 18:29Speaker 3: oh no, it was Jenna's.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Where they could have totally given a 10. Yeah.
- 18:33Speaker 3: But you can tell that they are waiting at least
- 18:37Speaker 3: one or two more episodes.
- 18:39Speaker 2: We'll see a 10 in the next two episodes.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I pretty much guarantee that.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Okay. That's when the special dance. So Dedications Week is
- 18:46Speaker 3: next week. And they have, like, they bring someone special
- 18:50Speaker 3: into the audience and they dedicate the dance to them.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And if the person is, you know, still with us.
- 18:57Speaker 3: But it's usually a very... Big tearjerker night. Very sentimental.
- 19:01Speaker 3: And 10s will be coming out for that show, for sure.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Jackson and Emma were up next. And this is when
- 19:20Speaker 3: the girls started getting.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Text messages. We see you, we see you, we see you.
- 19:26Speaker 2: This is when I saw you.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I immediately picked up my phone on our group chat
- 19:29Speaker 4: and said, oh, Trista, you and the girls look so beautiful.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Just smiling from ear to ear, clapping.
- 19:37Speaker 2: You looked like you were having the best time. The
- 19:40Speaker 2: best time.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Like it's one of those nights where your cheeks hurt,
- 19:43Speaker 3: you know, from smiling so much.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So yes.
- 19:45Speaker 3: And they gave everyone in the audience pom poms.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So we were just shaking our pom poms. It was
- 19:50Speaker 2: so fun.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Um, so yes, we got to have a little, like
- 19:54Speaker 3: the camera in our face and it's so funny cause
- 19:56Speaker 3: the camera standing there, you don't know if you're on
- 19:59Speaker 3: camera or what, because it's kind of like a fish
- 20:02Speaker 3: eye or something, you know what I mean? Um, so
- 20:04Speaker 3: I was, and, and honestly it wasn't an act. Like Literally,
- 20:08Speaker 3: you're just so excited being in the energy of the
- 20:13Speaker 3: audience that that's truly how everyone looks. When you see
- 20:16Speaker 3: someone who is in the audience, they're not acting. They
- 20:19Speaker 3: are just having the time of their lives. Okay, so
- 20:23Speaker 3: Jackson and Emma. And as you know, I feel like Jackson,
- 20:27Speaker 3: to me, hasn't been like a standout.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Right. I feel like he's just kind of coasting. I
- 20:32Speaker 2: felt like yes.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 2: But last night, he was not coasting. No.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I thought he did a really great job. Last night,
- 20:38Speaker 4: I feel like he earned his position on the show.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Totally agree with you. Yeah.
- 20:43Speaker 4: And to be doing, I saw some other clips from
- 20:45Speaker 4: their bananas game this week. It just, I know we've
- 20:49Speaker 4: discussed this before with Harry also doing Grey's Anatomy at
- 20:52Speaker 4: the same time. And the same thing with Jackson playing
- 20:55Speaker 4: ball at the same time he is putting on a
- 20:57Speaker 4: show in the stadium.
- 20:59Speaker 2: You know what I mean? And doing Dancing with the Stars.
- 21:01Speaker 4: We saw that clip where they're practicing in Washington, D.C.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Because that's where their ball game is. Yeah. Like, it's
- 21:08Speaker 2: amazing to me.
- 21:09Speaker 3: I totally agree. This is hard work. Not only just
- 21:13Speaker 3: the dancing, but keeping up with life. Like I can't
- 21:16Speaker 3: keep up with life normally. And I don't have 10
- 21:18Speaker 3: hour dance rehearsal days or however long they rehearse.
- 21:22Speaker 2: But you're right. You're so right. I mean, they dance
- 21:26Speaker 2: to Bruno Mars, Uptown Funk. Which is funny.
- 21:30Speaker 3: When I first saw that song, I was like, Mark
- 21:32Speaker 3: Ronson featuring Bruno Mars? I'm like, wait, isn't it Bruno Mars?
- 21:35Speaker 4: No, I think it is actually Mark Ronson. It was
- 21:38Speaker 4: his song featuring Bruno Mars.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Amazing. I did not know that.
- 21:41Speaker 3: So, yay. Good on you, Mark Ronson. I love that song.
- 21:45Speaker 2: He's got a ton of stuff. I love it.
- 21:47Speaker 4: He is like no little small thing. He does a
- 21:50Speaker 4: ton of work and does a lot of really great songs.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Great song. I loved it. Great song. I loved it.
- 21:56Speaker 2: And I think the song choice is so crucial. In
- 22:00Speaker 2: your scores. Like if you connect to the song.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Well, I thought it was cute because I think it
- 22:02Speaker 4: allowed us to see more of Jackson's personality because when
- 22:05Speaker 4: he started, right?
- 22:07Speaker 2: I just feel like.
- 22:08Speaker 4: Sometimes in the partnerships, when it is a male celebrity
- 22:14Speaker 4: with a female pro, it's really hard because the female
- 22:18Speaker 4: pros really lead the dance. Yes. Forgive me, I'm probably
- 22:23Speaker 4: going to get butchered for this, but I feel like
- 22:25Speaker 4: the guys have it a little bit easier sometimes, right?
- 22:28Speaker 4: Because the female pros are such strong dancers and charismatic,
- 22:32Speaker 4: and they really just lead the floor.
- 22:35Speaker 3: It depends on the female pro, because I do want
- 22:38Speaker 3: to say, like, in years past, it just depends on
- 22:41Speaker 3: their pro. And yes, if their choreography is amazing... then
- 22:45Speaker 3: I totally agree with you.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Well, I loved the opening scene where, you know, Emma
- 22:51Speaker 4: is off to the side a little bit. She does
- 22:52Speaker 4: her little spin in and then Jackson kind of gets
- 22:54Speaker 4: his moment. He kind of gets his moment to shine.
- 22:57Speaker 4: I actually really loved that.
- 22:58Speaker 2: And I did too.
- 23:00Speaker 3: And he did a great job in it. I can't
- 23:02Speaker 3: remember who was dancing. There were two people dancing with him,
- 23:05Speaker 3: like maybe troop members.
- 23:06Speaker 2: But that's always immediately like, Oh my God, he gets
- 23:08Speaker 2: backup dancers. He gets like a whole, like a whole thing.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I love that they can do that because I feel
- 23:15Speaker 3: like on our season there's, I mean, they didn't have
- 23:17Speaker 3: the troop back then, but you couldn't use other people
- 23:21Speaker 3: in your dance.
- 23:21Speaker 2: It was just you, like it was all on your shoulders.
- 23:24Speaker 3: So I love that they can integrate that to just
- 23:27Speaker 3: give it more entertainment value, you know?
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yeah. But I, he came out swinging.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Yeah. a baseball bat, but no, um, let's see. Okay.
- 23:36Speaker 2: So he got three eights and a seven.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Bruno is hysterical. We were sitting, I mean, I literally,
- 23:43Speaker 3: I could have reached out and touched Bruno. Um, I
- 23:45Speaker 3: feel like we were right there every time he gives
- 23:49Speaker 3: criticism or he, he gives his judges comments. He looks
- 23:52Speaker 3: over at all of us sitting to his left for
- 23:55Speaker 3: like validation and like, right.
- 23:57Speaker 4: He really makes the show like his personality. I can't
- 24:00Speaker 4: imagine this show without him. I know some of the
- 24:02Speaker 4: judges have changed over time, but he really makes the show.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Like he's very charismatic. He's very funny.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Every time he like stands up and he like gets
- 24:10Speaker 4: into it and he feels it like play it up.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I love him. I love him.
- 24:13Speaker 3: The girls were eating him up last night. Cause any
- 24:15Speaker 3: comment he said, he's like, like looking over.
- 24:21Speaker 2: So funny.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Um, okay. So yes, Jackson, uh, I don't know. He
- 24:28Speaker 3: got some extra bonus points from me last night. Yeah.
- 24:31Speaker 2: He got a 31 out of 40. That's a pretty
- 24:33Speaker 2: good score for him. I agree. First eights. It was
- 24:36Speaker 2: his first eights, which is great. He earned them. Yeah.
- 24:41Speaker 2: For sure. I thought he did a great job. Next
- 24:43Speaker 2: up was Amber and Pasha. Listen up. She did it
- 24:48Speaker 2: for me last night. She did it for me. I
- 24:50Speaker 2: have noticed her and her skills.
- 24:52Speaker 4: She's obviously incredible as an athlete all the way up
- 24:56Speaker 4: until this point. Last night, she was a dancer.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Agreed.
- 25:00Speaker 4: I loved everything that she did on the dance floor.
- 25:03Speaker 4: She moved much more smoothly.
- 25:06Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 25:07Speaker 4: And the two of them, I could finally see some
- 25:09Speaker 4: of the chemistry between the two of them. She looked
- 25:12Speaker 4: phenomenal on the dance floor last night.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Those pants... Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I love me some fringe pants and they were bright blue.
- 25:19Speaker 3: It was, Oh, her, her costume was gorgeous. I just
- 25:25Speaker 3: have to say the costume designers on this show, most
- 25:30Speaker 3: of the dance, most of the costumes last night were amazing.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Jenna, Jenna Johnson's. Oh my gosh. Drop dead. Gorgeous. But Ambers,
- 25:40Speaker 2: I loved.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I love those fringe pants. I love that.
- 25:43Speaker 3: I did hear this little part in the package that.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Right after they did their dance, people were trying to do,
- 25:50Speaker 3: you know, the like.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Yes. I saw it all over social media. All over. All.
- 25:55Speaker 2: And it was really cool.
- 25:57Speaker 4: When we recorded after this episode, we were kind of like, oh,
- 26:01Speaker 4: I didn't really need the splits.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Was the split really a thing?
- 26:04Speaker 4: But then after watching so many people on social media
- 26:07Speaker 4: and some of the other dancers try the split.
- 26:10Speaker 2: OK, I bite my tongue. I bite my tongue. I
- 26:13Speaker 2: don't bite my tongue.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I loved that part of it, but what I didn't
- 26:18Speaker 3: love is the transition, like how she was standing there waiting.
- 26:21Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 26:22Speaker 3: But the actual movement itself is one of those wow
- 26:25Speaker 3: moments where, yes, it's natural where people are like, ooh,
- 26:28Speaker 3: let me see if I can do this.
- 26:30Speaker 2: And most people fail. Most people failed. It did not
- 26:33Speaker 2: do well.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I do have to say the fact that she got
- 26:36Speaker 3: her first nines and her first nine was from Derek, who's—
- 26:41Speaker 3: usually pretty critical and doesn't give those out like candy.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I think that is saying something.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:48Speaker 2: You know?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 3: She, she was a rock star last night. Had to say,
- 26:54Speaker 3: I said hello to her at the very end of
- 26:56Speaker 3: the night. And just like, I was like, I don't
- 26:59Speaker 3: even want to bother you with a picture because it
- 27:02Speaker 3: was the end of the night.
- 27:02Speaker 2: They're exhausted. You know, I'm sorry. You didn't get us
- 27:05Speaker 2: a single picture. Oh, girlfriend.
- 27:08Speaker 3: I got so many pictures, but not with Amber. Just
- 27:11Speaker 3: because she was, it was the very end of the night.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Did you give me a picture of Tyler? Hell yes.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I will show you.
- 27:19Speaker 3: But anyway, so Amber, it was the very end of
- 27:21Speaker 3: the night. I was like, I'm not going to bother her.
- 27:23Speaker 3: But what I did say is I'm a huge fan.
- 27:26Speaker 3: I think you're doing amazing and good on you.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Like I'm rooting for you.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 2: So she looked phenomenal last night. She did a great job.
- 27:35Speaker 2: She got a 34 out of 40. Well-deserved. Well-deserved.
- 27:38Speaker 3: And I love that Carrie Ann said you ate because
- 27:41Speaker 3: the girls next to me, that is so their language.
- 27:44Speaker 2: They're clocking it. They were. Yes, they were clocking it.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Good job.
- 27:52Speaker 3: I did it. I did it.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I even did the fingers. Clock it. Oh, maybe I
- 27:58Speaker 2: need to spread them, Heather. Okay, now I'm doing it right.
- 28:01Speaker 2: There you go. Okay.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Up next is our boy, Tyler Cameron. Let me say
- 28:06Speaker 3: Deanna's boy, Tyler Cameron.
- 28:08Speaker 2: This is getting out of control. I am now claiming
- 28:12Speaker 2: like ownership over this man. It's getting out of control.
- 28:16Speaker 4: It's a very innocent, very innocent, just crush that I
- 28:19Speaker 4: have on Tyler Cameron. And he gave me all the
- 28:22Speaker 4: Patrick Swayze vibes last night.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I loved everything about their dance. Yes. The song choice.
- 28:27Speaker 2: And even in the beginning, did you see them, their
- 28:30Speaker 2: play on the, um, dirty dancing, like dance from the movie?
- 28:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah. How she like flew.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Like it was, oh, that, that moment was amazing where
- 28:41Speaker 3: he lifted her and she did like an arabesque in
- 28:43Speaker 3: the air.
- 28:44Speaker 2: So pretty.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Um, I loved this dance and I was worried because
- 28:50Speaker 3: you guys, I saw, I don't know if you saw
- 28:51Speaker 3: this pop culture data. We talked about it. Bachelor data
- 28:55Speaker 3: is like on Instagram, whatever. And she's changed to pop
- 28:58Speaker 3: culture data and she covers dancing with the stars. And
- 29:01Speaker 3: last week she said, or maybe it was the night
- 29:05Speaker 3: before last night.
- 29:07Speaker 2: So it was Monday night.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I think that she put out that who was more,
- 29:12Speaker 3: most at risk of going home. And Tyler was the
- 29:14Speaker 3: most at risk of going home. So I was really
- 29:16Speaker 3: nervous to see his dance and see how he did
- 29:19Speaker 3: because I figured it was going to be critical in
- 29:23Speaker 3: him staying, you know?
- 29:24Speaker 2: Yeah. And he did a great job. He did a
- 29:26Speaker 2: great job.
- 29:27Speaker 3: I loved the costumes again. It was just kind of
- 29:30Speaker 3: fun and playful. Her shoes were like sambas and they
- 29:35Speaker 3: were all blinged out. Like every single thing. I can't
- 29:38Speaker 3: imagine how many like... bedazzler guns they have in the classroom.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Somebody's just sitting around with their like little needle, just
- 29:47Speaker 2: like putting them in.
- 29:48Speaker 4: I forget what that's their only job where you could
- 29:50Speaker 4: like stick them to a sticky end and then put
- 29:52Speaker 4: them on the, on the.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Dress and the shoes.
- 29:54Speaker 3: I feel like they have someone who's that's their, that's
- 29:57Speaker 3: their job.
- 29:57Speaker 2: They're the bedazzler.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:59Speaker 2: And maybe multiple people actually, because there's a lot of bling. Um,
- 30:04Speaker 2: they did a jazz number.
- 30:06Speaker 3: And you know how I said, I feel like I
- 30:09Speaker 3: said this last week, maybe it was last week with
- 30:11Speaker 3: Tatiana and Sierra.
- 30:13Speaker 2: It was two weeks ago.
- 30:13Speaker 3: And I was like, you know, I'm not fully convinced
- 30:17Speaker 3: that they should have like jazz numbers. I feel like
- 30:19Speaker 3: it should be all ballroom, but I really loved this dance.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I was like, okay, Tyler changed my mind. He looks
- 30:26Speaker 2: more comfortable too.
- 30:27Speaker 4: You know, going back to that first episode when he
- 30:29Speaker 4: first started dancing, we talked about it.
- 30:31Speaker 2: He looks very uncomfortable. Yes. He is taking notes.
- 30:34Speaker 4: You can tell that he is listening to what the
- 30:36Speaker 4: judges say, and he looked more comfortable in the dance floor.
- 30:38Speaker 2: He did, for sure.
- 30:40Speaker 3: And Carrie Ann said he's actually becoming a dancer, which
- 30:42Speaker 3: I agree. He's doing a great job.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Especially because he is, like I said, a tall drink
- 30:48Speaker 3: of water. And he's, like, he's got, like, really, what
- 30:51Speaker 3: do you say, shoulders? Broad, thank you. What?
- 30:56Speaker 2: Fill in the blank. We're not computing properly. He's a
- 31:02Speaker 2: big boy. He's big and he's got broad shoulders.
- 31:05Speaker 3: So I feel like it's just like, it maybe takes
- 31:08Speaker 3: more effort for him to look graceful. And not that
- 31:12Speaker 3: he needed to look graceful last night. But I feel
- 31:14Speaker 3: like he did a great job. Just to make sure
- 31:17Speaker 3: everything is moving as one piece.
- 31:18Speaker 4: He got a 30 out of 40, which I thought was,
- 31:22Speaker 4: I mean, generous, but like exciting for him. But I
- 31:25Speaker 4: loved at the point where they cut and they look
- 31:28Speaker 4: at Tate and she's crying.
- 31:30Speaker 2: They're so cute. They're so cute. I was very, very
- 31:35Speaker 2: curious as to why she was sitting.
- 31:38Speaker 3: Like you might not have been able to tell this
- 31:40Speaker 3: because I'm sure the camera got like a close-up of her.
- 31:43Speaker 2: But she was like fifth or sixth row back. Like
- 31:47Speaker 2: not in the front.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Oh, that's odd because in the prior weeks, I feel
- 31:51Speaker 4: like we see her in the front row. I wonder
- 31:53Speaker 4: if it was just the positioning for last night.
- 31:55Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 31:56Speaker 2: We've seen her in the front row.
- 31:57Speaker 3: And there were a lot of people in the front
- 31:58Speaker 3: row that I did not know.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Who they were.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I was like, how did those people win out over
- 32:06Speaker 3: the fiance of one of the dancers?
- 32:08Speaker 2: Do you know what I mean? Like that's a pretty... Like,
- 32:11Speaker 2: you usually have the family. Like, Enzo's family. Enzo, Ezra. Oh,
- 32:15Speaker 2: my God.
- 32:16Speaker 3: My brain is not working this morning. Ezra's family was
- 32:21Speaker 3: right in the front. And I was like, huh, why
- 32:23Speaker 3: is she, like, back there? She needs a front row seat.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, they had her front row last week because
- 32:28Speaker 2: she got the rose, remember? Totally.
- 32:30Speaker 3: And maybe that's why they put— Maybe because she'll be
- 32:33Speaker 3: in the front row next week because I'm sure he'll
- 32:35Speaker 3: be dedicating either to his mom or— or to her
- 32:39Speaker 3: or maybe to both.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Um, anyway, love seeing him. He's amazing. Um, Connor, Connor.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Oh girl.
- 32:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 32:49Speaker 2: So you guys, what did the, I need you to
- 32:53Speaker 2: tell me what his, is it a goatee when it
- 32:56Speaker 2: is the mustache and the, okay.
- 32:58Speaker 3: So this was a, this was a mystery to me.
- 33:02Speaker 2: The goatee is on, right?
- 33:04Speaker 3: And I didn't see him up close before he danced
- 33:07Speaker 3: or right after he danced.
- 33:09Speaker 2: But it was a goatee.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Afterwards it's gone i was like and he just had
- 33:14Speaker 3: a mustache and i was like did you shave.
- 33:16Speaker 2: After the show no way that was his real hair trista.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Well that's what i'm wondering it was totally it was
- 33:22Speaker 1: no they glued that on yes could you tell on
- 33:26Speaker 1: film i could tell on camera it looked very fake
- 33:29Speaker 1: okay on you know what i mean and even derrick
- 33:31Speaker 1: huff commented on it it looked really fake okay so
- 33:34Speaker 1: he He looks like such a baby to me.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I know we talked about this. He's not. He's a
- 33:39Speaker 2: grown man.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:40Speaker 2: But like it looked.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Very fake when you put him next to someone else
- 33:43Speaker 4: who has like real facial hair, even on the TV
- 33:45Speaker 4: last night.
- 33:45Speaker 2: I was like. what is that? Why does he have
- 33:48Speaker 2: that on his, on his face? Okay, good.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Because literally I was like, wait, what happened to your goatee?
- 33:54Speaker 3: You could not tell from where I was sitting to
- 33:57Speaker 3: where he danced that it was fake.
- 33:59Speaker 2: So I could tell on my television screen.
- 34:02Speaker 3: I'm glad.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Then maybe I didn't make a huge fool out of
- 34:06Speaker 3: myself when we, when I got to talk to him
- 34:08Speaker 3: and I was like, where'd you go your goatee? No.
- 34:11Speaker 2: He's like, I peeled it off.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Because Derek Hough even commented on it. He was like,
- 34:15Speaker 4: I love the facial hair. And I was like, Derek,
- 34:18Speaker 4: that is not real, my friend.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Oh, I'm sure he played that up in the media
- 34:23Speaker 3: interviews after the show was over.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I'm sure.
- 34:26Speaker 3: He was probably talking about how he has like baby face.
- 34:29Speaker 2: You know? He does have a baby face, a little
- 34:31Speaker 2: cutie pie.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Oh, and Riley's hair, I thought she looked so amazing.
- 34:37Speaker 3: They both had Fringe pants on. Like, he had fringe
- 34:41Speaker 3: pants on, too.
- 34:42Speaker 4: Hers were moving slightly better than his, though. We need
- 34:45Speaker 4: to work on his hips.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Yes. You know what I mean? And his song was
- 34:50Speaker 2: Hips Don't Lie. That his hips were telling a story,
- 34:55Speaker 2: just not the right one.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yes.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Those pants are made that they beautifully move when you
- 35:01Speaker 4: are doing the correct moves. And I believe that the
- 35:03Speaker 4: judges commented on this also when they gave him, you know,
- 35:07Speaker 4: his critiques at the end.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Right?
- 35:09Speaker 4: His pants were many times that the pants were not moving.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Like his hips are just not shifting in the right direction.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I think it's kind of something that people contemplate though,
- 35:18Speaker 4: every season, right? Because the chemistry looks so good between
- 35:21Speaker 4: the people and the pros. And I know most of
- 35:23Speaker 4: the pros are married now too, but it is definitely
- 35:26Speaker 4: something because the chemistry really oozes off on the television screen.
- 35:29Speaker 3: I mean, please, you're dancing in like an intimate way
- 35:32Speaker 3: with someone. So if you're single and ready to mingle, then.
- 35:38Speaker 2: It's a perfect time. So, okay.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Going back to Connor, Connor is like one of, one
- 35:56Speaker 3: of Blakeslee's friends, Alyssa is just.
- 36:01Speaker 2: In love with it.
- 36:01Speaker 3: I mean, she's not really in love with him, but
- 36:03Speaker 3: he was, you know, the person that she wanted to see.
- 36:06Speaker 3: She was so excited. I of course asked the girls,
- 36:09Speaker 3: who are you most excited to see? And Connor was
- 36:12Speaker 3: the first out of Alyssa's mouth. So, um, like he
- 36:15Speaker 3: was a highlight for them for sure. Like it's just
- 36:19Speaker 3: the Tik TOK, like how funny he is. I guess
- 36:21Speaker 3: his personality is so fun. I did not know him
- 36:23Speaker 3: from before he was on dancing with the stars.
- 36:26Speaker 4: Did you, I didn't know him from before, but I
- 36:28Speaker 4: have seen all of his stuff starting to roll through
- 36:30Speaker 4: my feed and I can see where it comes from. Right.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I get it. He's very funny. He's very charismatic. You
- 36:35Speaker 2: know what I mean? I get it. I see why
- 36:37Speaker 2: people are like, Oh, sweet man. Yes.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I love that. So, and I do, I will say
- 36:42Speaker 2: in person, So funny and so kind. And I just,
- 36:46Speaker 2: I loved him. Yes. Great.
- 36:48Speaker 3: That was a, that was a fun routine. He did
- 36:50Speaker 3: get probably the most criticism I feel like besides.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I think he got one of the lowest scores of
- 36:56Speaker 2: the night. Yes.
- 36:58Speaker 3: He got, let's see. He got a 25 out of 40.
- 37:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 4: So he's still rolling in that six range. He got
- 37:04Speaker 4: sixes from all the judges except for Joe. Joe gave
- 37:07Speaker 4: him a seven, but he's still like in just that
- 37:09Speaker 4: lower part of, of the scoring range.
- 37:13Speaker 3: I'm wondering if either him or Tatiana are the next
- 37:17Speaker 3: to go next week.
- 37:18Speaker 2: We'll see. Okay, so next up, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa.
- 37:23Speaker 2: I have to say I love Ezra. I love him.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I love his energy.
- 37:28Speaker 3: He is always so happy, just so happy and enthusiastic
- 37:36Speaker 3: about life. The girls know him from the competitive dance
- 37:40Speaker 3: world because he teaches and He is just like, as
- 37:45Speaker 3: a mom, I'm sure you do this too. I will
- 37:50Speaker 3: judge people, and I hate saying I judge people, but
- 37:52Speaker 3: I will judge people based on how they treat my kids.
- 37:55Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Right? Oh, yeah.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 2: And Ezra.
- 37:59Speaker 3: loves these girls and like lifts them up. It's the
- 38:03Speaker 3: same with Val. Same, like he like was like, oh,
- 38:07Speaker 3: hi girls. Like the second that we saw him, they
- 38:10Speaker 3: are both just the kindest, sweetest. And I just, I
- 38:14Speaker 3: love this partnership because of Ezra mostly. But last night,
- 38:19Speaker 3: Julia won me over. That dance was, was made for her.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Like you and I have talked about this because you
- 38:26Speaker 4: could not remember save the last dance.
- 38:28Speaker 2: You couldn't like the whole thing. I was so thrilled
- 38:31Speaker 2: with this.
- 38:32Speaker 4: Her dance played on her actual dance from the movie
- 38:36Speaker 4: and her co-star from the movie was there.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Sean Patrick Thomas.
- 38:39Speaker 4: There was a part where she was doing her solo
- 38:42Speaker 4: dance and they cut to the side and you could
- 38:45Speaker 4: see Ezra and he was standing right next to her.
- 38:48Speaker 4: There is a part from the movie where she is
- 38:50Speaker 4: dancing and he is standing off to the side, just
- 38:53Speaker 4: admiring her. And that was the play on that last night.
- 38:55Speaker 2: That's awesome. I love that. I caught on to every
- 38:58Speaker 2: bit of that. See, that's why I need to go
- 39:00Speaker 2: back and watch the show.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Well, we heard that Save the Last Dance is now
- 39:03Speaker 2: streaming on Hulu. Oh, amazing. They're definitely capitalizing on that.
- 39:07Speaker 2: You can go back and watch it.
- 39:08Speaker 4: But I was loving every bit of this last night
- 39:11Speaker 4: because I love that they took the dance that she, right?
- 39:14Speaker 4: That was her thing in the movie. People loved that.
- 39:17Speaker 4: And they played on it last night. And I thought
- 39:18Speaker 4: she did a really good job.
- 39:20Speaker 2: She did amazing.
- 39:20Speaker 3: When we were talking to Ezra afterwards, we were talking
- 39:24Speaker 3: about how the choreography was great. And he was saying like, oh,
- 39:29Speaker 3: she didn't want to do like her parts, but he's like,
- 39:32Speaker 3: she did it and she killed it.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yeah. She really did. She did a great job last night.
- 39:38Speaker 4: There is a whole bit in the movie where they're
- 39:40Speaker 4: doing that chair scene where he's teaching her on the
- 39:42Speaker 4: chairs and he's teaching her like, swagger in the movie, right?
- 39:46Speaker 4: Because she was not like this like swagger dancer. And
- 39:50Speaker 4: there's a whole bit in the movie where he brings
- 39:52Speaker 4: the chairs out and he's trying to teach her this scene.
- 39:54Speaker 2: And so when they did that last night, as soon
- 39:56Speaker 2: as they were pulling the chairs out, I was like, what? Yes,
- 39:59Speaker 2: I love it. Okay. She got her first eights.
- 40:02Speaker 3: And a nine from Joe Buck. Thanks to a guest
- 40:06Speaker 3: judge who was there or she wouldn't have gotten a nine,
- 40:09Speaker 3: but I felt like it was well-deserved.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I felt like she did a great job.
- 40:12Speaker 3: And her costume too was, I love that it was
- 40:16Speaker 3: very Jenny from the block, you know, very like hip
- 40:20Speaker 3: hop jazzy, but I think they threw in a lot
- 40:23Speaker 3: more hip hop than like technical jazz.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Loved it. That's okay. She looked great. Loved it.
- 40:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I'm right with you. Next up was Tatiana and yawn.
- 40:33Speaker 2: And okay.
- 40:35Speaker 4: I really love that she is able to slow it down.
- 40:38Speaker 4: When she is moving on the dance.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Floor, her moves even slowly look really good. There is
- 40:48Speaker 2: just a piece that is still kind of lacking for
- 40:51Speaker 2: me with her. I don't necessarily, I don't feel it
- 40:55Speaker 2: with her on the dance floor like I do from
- 40:57Speaker 2: some of the other celebrities and pros that are dancing.
- 41:02Speaker 2: I'm still just lacking. It's almost like enthusiasm. Is that
- 41:05Speaker 2: the right word from her? Yeah, I agree. I don't know.
- 41:09Speaker 4: Does it feel more enthusiastic with you sitting in the audience?
- 41:13Speaker 3: Listen, every single dance you are like freaking out about,
- 41:16Speaker 3: I swear, unless you're there supporting like your fiance, like
- 41:20Speaker 3: Tate or, you know, whatever. I feel like every single dance,
- 41:23Speaker 3: I was just like blown away. The energy was amazing,
- 41:27Speaker 3: but yeah. I feel like Tatiana's probably on the chopping
- 41:30Speaker 3: block in the next couple weeks.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Well, her scores reflected that, Trista. So, you know, we'll
- 41:35Speaker 4: have to watch and see how well she actually does.
- 41:38Speaker 2: But she's, you know, I think she moves well. She
- 41:40Speaker 2: looks beautiful. It's just like it's just not following through. Yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Guillermo and Whitney were next.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I freaking love the fact that they had her full
- 41:49Speaker 3: belly out on display.
- 41:50Speaker 2: I love that. Like, the best.
- 41:52Speaker 3: And I will say, I talked to Whitney before the show, and.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I said, how are you feeling? You know, she's pregnant.
- 42:00Speaker 2: She's got two littles at home.
- 42:01Speaker 3: It's a lot just in general.
- 42:03Speaker 2: And then you throw in the show. And she's like,
- 42:06Speaker 2: I'm actually, I'm great, but I'm really tired. I bet.
- 42:09Speaker 2: I'm like, I bet she wants to go home.
- 42:12Speaker 4: I didn't do a whole lot when I was pregnant
- 42:14Speaker 4: and I was tired all the time.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Totally. She's out there like working, working. Like, and last
- 42:21Speaker 2: night she worked. She started, you guys, you.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Saw like the shot of Guillermo coming through underneath her
- 42:31Speaker 3: split legs on top of the shoulders of two of
- 42:34Speaker 3: the troop dancers. She like, she was in that position For, like,
- 42:41Speaker 3: I want to say, like, a minute. It wasn't a minute,
- 42:43Speaker 3: but it was a really long time where she was
- 42:45Speaker 3: waiting for Guillermo to come.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Like, it wasn't like she just got up there.
- 42:49Speaker 3: She was on their shoulders holding that position. I'm like,
- 42:52Speaker 3: God forbid she fall over. Of course, that's me as, like,
- 42:56Speaker 3: the maternal, like, thinking, oh, please don't fall and hurt
- 42:59Speaker 3: that beautiful baby growing inside of you, you know?
- 43:02Speaker 2: Well, I'm guessing she is doing a.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Lot of the— they' re.
- 43:04Speaker 4: Probably not called stunts— But she's having to carry the
- 43:08Speaker 4: weight of that because she is pregnant. She can't physically
- 43:11Speaker 4: do some of those jumps, some of those things. And
- 43:14Speaker 4: he is also just, he doesn't have the capability at
- 43:17Speaker 4: this point to do it.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Right.
- 43:18Speaker 2: So I think she's really carrying the weight of that partnership. Yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 2: I will say his joy for the show is contagious. Yeah. Okay.
- 43:25Speaker 3: So Jenna Dewan and Val are next. Who said, I
- 43:30Speaker 3: don't know who said it.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Oh yes.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Joe Buck said this. I forget who the pro is
- 43:35Speaker 3: and it's true. Yeah.
- 43:37Speaker 2: She is, she is a professional.
- 43:40Speaker 3: She is a professional dancer, was a professional dancer and
- 43:43Speaker 3: she shows it.
- 43:45Speaker 4: I am still, every time I see her, I'm still
- 43:48Speaker 4: going back and forth in my mind and I can
- 43:50Speaker 4: hear you say who your winner is.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I, I, I don't know. She's like really good.
- 43:56Speaker 2: And I don't know if you're saying that just because
- 43:58Speaker 2: she might not get the votes, the fan votes, but
- 44:02Speaker 2: she's phenomenal.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:04Speaker 4: Like, I feel like if anybody should be on up there,
- 44:06Speaker 4: it should be her.
- 44:07Speaker 2: I agree. He shows, you know, skill. Yeah. But she
- 44:11Speaker 2: is flawless.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay.
- 44:14Speaker 3: So I got some scoop last night. I'm not going
- 44:18Speaker 3: to say from who. I don't think it's going to
- 44:20Speaker 3: be three people in the finale.
- 44:22Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 44:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Give it to us in like layman's terms, Trista. Lay
- 44:27Speaker 4: it out, what you were told.
- 44:30Speaker 2: I think they're going to have five.
- 44:31Speaker 1: What?
- 44:34Speaker 2: And I'm sorry, like in the finale episode, and then
- 44:37Speaker 2: they will go from five to one couple? Yeah, exactly.
- 44:41Speaker 3: So they might even cut two, like in the beginning
- 44:43Speaker 3: of the finale, like do a double eviction, essentially. If
- 44:49Speaker 3: they have five, she's for sure in my finale. For
- 44:53Speaker 3: sure in my finale. If it's three, you know what
- 44:55Speaker 3: I've been saying is, Ezra, I'm calling to win still.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I feel like Mara is going to be in the
- 45:02Speaker 3: finale and Harry.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Maybe not Harry. Even after Jenna's dance last night, you're
- 45:08Speaker 2: still calling it like that.
- 45:10Speaker 3: This is what I was saying earlier. Like in weeks past,
- 45:13Speaker 3: I've been saying those are my three.
- 45:15Speaker 2: Okay. Jenna definitely deserves.
- 45:18Speaker 3: To be in the finale because she is a professional
- 45:20Speaker 3: dancer and she shows it every single week that she
- 45:23Speaker 3: is a professional dancer and she deserves to be in
- 45:25Speaker 3: the finale.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Why don't you think?
- 45:27Speaker 3: No, I think she's going to, I, in weeks past,
- 45:30Speaker 3: I have said, because I don't feel like the connection
- 45:33Speaker 3: with the audience is happening. Like I don't see the
- 45:36Speaker 3: audience voting for her over somebody who they are connected to,
- 45:40Speaker 3: you know, her vulnerability hadn't been there. Um, we haven't
- 45:45Speaker 3: gotten to know her it's more about her dancing everyone
- 45:50Speaker 3: else we're getting to know their storyline like we don't
- 45:53Speaker 3: I still don't know and I don't know if this
- 45:54Speaker 3: was in her package last night but I still don't
- 45:56Speaker 3: know about her kids I know it's coming next week
- 45:58Speaker 3: because this is like the dedication show so she's going
- 46:02Speaker 3: to be getting vulnerable this week I would hope this
- 46:06Speaker 3: coming week um but I just feel like there hasn't
- 46:10Speaker 3: been like that vulnerability to date yet with her and
- 46:14Speaker 3: I feel like that needs to happen for someone to
- 46:16Speaker 3: win hmm Interesting.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Um, I would, I, well, again, this is my first
- 46:22Speaker 4: real season watching the whole season. I would just, I
- 46:26Speaker 4: think the dancing and the skill alone and a recognizable name,
- 46:30Speaker 4: obviously I feel like would carry her to the end.
- 46:32Speaker 3: I do. But if it's top three, then I, I
- 46:36Speaker 3: don't think she would have been in the finale personally,
- 46:39Speaker 3: just because of the connection to the audience, but on.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Her dance ability. Yes. She deserved to win the show
- 46:44Speaker 2: the first week.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Just based on dance ability alone. Yeah. She was outstanding
- 46:51Speaker 2: last night. Outstanding. She was outstanding. They danced to a
- 46:54Speaker 2: Lady Gaga song, Bad Romance. Yes, Bad Romance.
- 46:57Speaker 4: I just was like blown away, by the way. And also, Val,
- 47:01Speaker 4: from what I understand, is like one of the top pros.
- 47:04Speaker 2: You know what I mean? He is really, really good.
- 47:06Speaker 2: And then you take the two of them and put
- 47:08Speaker 2: them together. They're beautiful. Yes. Yes.
- 47:11Speaker 3: He was walking around without a shirt on, and those girls,
- 47:14Speaker 3: I feel like I was like, let me pick up
- 47:15Speaker 3: your jaw off the floor.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Let me. There were a lot of open shirts last night. Oh, yes,
- 47:21Speaker 2: there were. I didn't catch it in our first few episodes,
- 47:24Speaker 2: but I was just like, oh, man, here I go again.
- 47:26Speaker 2: I need to work out more. Oh, my gosh. And
- 47:28Speaker 2: they were so shiny. So shiny. So shiny and sweaty
- 47:32Speaker 2: and so many abs.
- 47:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Oh, man. Yes. No, she is.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Flawless. She got all nines, Trista. She got all nine.
- 47:41Speaker 2: She should have gotten a 10.
- 47:43Speaker 3: I felt like that was an opportunity for the tens
- 47:45Speaker 3: to come out and they're just holding back. They're not,
- 47:48Speaker 3: they don't allow the judges to give a 10 until
- 47:50Speaker 3: they're ready to give a 10. Um, I will say
- 47:53Speaker 3: one of the, one of the girls in my car
- 47:55Speaker 3: as we're driving, um, to the airport was saying that
- 48:00Speaker 3: she felt like it's a competition between Jenna and Val.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Like Jenna wants to like prove that she's like better
- 48:08Speaker 3: than Val in some ways. Like, and I don't, it's
- 48:11Speaker 3: not a competition to me. I think they have great chemistry.
- 48:14Speaker 3: I think they have a great partnership, but it was
- 48:16Speaker 3: interesting to hear that, um, from someone who's a dancer, um,
- 48:22Speaker 3: saying like, she felt like she was trying to be
- 48:25Speaker 3: the best.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Dancer, even more than the pros.
- 48:29Speaker 3: And I think she is because that's like, She's a
- 48:32Speaker 3: professional dancer, but now she wants to tackle ballroom, so
- 48:35Speaker 3: that's her goal. She wants to look like a professional
- 48:37Speaker 3: dancer in the ballroom world, and I think she does.
- 48:41Speaker 2: I think she has achieved that goal in my mind.
- 48:44Speaker 4: I would imagine when she came on, she was like, okay,
- 48:46Speaker 4: there's no half-assing this. Like, because she has that background,
- 48:50Speaker 4: she had to come in and nail it.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Yes. The bar was so high for her from the
- 48:57Speaker 2: get-go of this season. Yes, yes. Yes, and yes, yes,
- 49:01Speaker 2: for sure. Okay, Harry and Jenna were next.
- 49:05Speaker 3: And again, he was a professional dancer. He got some
- 49:10Speaker 3: criticism last night. He didn't get, like, all nines like
- 49:13Speaker 3: Jenna did. They danced to Yeah by Usher, and they
- 49:18Speaker 3: did a samba, and... oh, Jenna's costume. Just so gorgeous.
- 49:25Speaker 3: That is, that is also a regret of mine is
- 49:28Speaker 3: we didn't get to say hi to Jenna because I do.
- 49:31Speaker 2: I love Jenna Johnson.
- 49:33Speaker 3: She is, I've always thought she was so talented, um,
- 49:38Speaker 3: coming from the world of, so you think you can dance.
- 49:40Speaker 3: I watched her on that show and fell in love
- 49:43Speaker 3: with her back then. I just feel like she's one
- 49:45Speaker 3: of my favorite pros. Um, anyway, they got three eights
- 49:51Speaker 3: and a nine. Um, they got their first nine from
- 49:54Speaker 3: Joe Buck, but the eights were just a surprise to me.
- 49:59Speaker 2: What did you feel like? Because there are parts of
- 50:01Speaker 2: the show.
- 50:02Speaker 3: So I'm, I was sitting to the left of the
- 50:04Speaker 3: judges and, And when they are like out in front
- 50:09Speaker 3: of like farther away from the stage, do you know
- 50:13Speaker 3: what I mean? Like closer to the skybox, we couldn't
- 50:17Speaker 3: see them. So I felt like a lot of Harry's routine,
- 50:20Speaker 3: I couldn't see from where.
- 50:22Speaker 2: I was sitting. I actually believe the scoring was very fitting.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 50:26Speaker 4: I think he's really good and he has shown improvement
- 50:28Speaker 4: each week. Yeah. I, I, I thought it was very fitting.
- 50:32Speaker 4: I don't know that he was ready for a nine. Well,
- 50:34Speaker 4: he got one from Joe Buck, but like nines or
- 50:38Speaker 4: a 10. Like the way he has danced every single
- 50:41Speaker 4: episode and the improvement that we have seen and the
- 50:43Speaker 4: fact that he is also just really good.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Yeah. I guess I expected more.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 50:48Speaker 2: And I hate even saying that because he's so good.
- 50:50Speaker 2: But I guess when you lay that standard and he
- 50:52Speaker 2: continues to do better and better. I don't know. I
- 50:54Speaker 2: guess I just expected just a little more. Yeah, I
- 50:57Speaker 2: get that.
- 50:57Speaker 3: And I will say, like, I'm not looking for the
- 51:00Speaker 3: things that Derek Hough is looking for in the heel
- 51:02Speaker 3: leads and Bruno, too. You know, that kind of stuff,
- 51:05Speaker 3: I don't know about.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:08Speaker 3: So I love that they point that out for us
- 51:11Speaker 3: not professional dancers.
- 51:13Speaker 4: To the common eye, those are things that I would
- 51:14Speaker 4: never even catch on the dance floor when they say that.
- 51:17Speaker 4: I literally play this game with myself when people are dancing.
- 51:19Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, he's going to do so well. And
- 51:21Speaker 4: then he does crap. And then somewhere I'm like, oh, well,
- 51:23Speaker 4: did you see that little bumpy tripped on his foot?
- 51:25Speaker 4: They don't even say anything. And then it gets all tens.
- 51:27Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 51:28Speaker 4: So to like the common eye, I don't see any
- 51:31Speaker 4: of those things. You know, Derek said exactly that. The
- 51:34Speaker 4: three heel leads.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:36Speaker 2: I didn't see it.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Right.
- 51:39Speaker 3: So I love that they point that they point those
- 51:41Speaker 3: details out for all of us. Um, I will say,
- 51:44Speaker 3: I think that Instagram is blowing up a little bit
- 51:46Speaker 3: because Carrie Ann said, called Jenna out for putting more
- 51:50Speaker 3: content in the dances. And she also talked about a Lyft.
- 51:54Speaker 3: And Jenna's reaction was like, hmm, okay, I don't agree
- 51:58Speaker 3: with that. So I think we're going to see that
- 52:01Speaker 3: playing out on social media this week.
- 52:02Speaker 4: This is also where Carrie Ann actually, like, pulls out
- 52:04Speaker 4: the paper and discusses the lift. Like, she gets down
- 52:07Speaker 4: into technical detail.
- 52:09Speaker 2: She literally had the definition. I know. I saw his face, too.
- 52:13Speaker 2: I know. It was tense.
- 52:15Speaker 3: It was tense.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah, it was.
- 52:18Speaker 3: I will say that is the hill that she dies on.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Carrie Ann is like, I am the lift queen. And
- 52:24Speaker 3: if you lift, I'm calling you out.
- 52:26Speaker 2: And they did.
- 52:27Speaker 3: And she called it out. And I think, I think
- 52:29Speaker 3: she should still do that. I think she needs to,
- 52:32Speaker 3: as a judge, it's like, it's like Derek looking for
- 52:34Speaker 3: heel leads and frame, you know, and all of the,
- 52:36Speaker 3: all of those things, all of the details. That is
- 52:39Speaker 3: the one thing that is Carrie Ann's like thing that
- 52:42Speaker 3: she always brings up if people lift.
- 52:44Speaker 2: And I think she should. Okay.
- 52:46Speaker 3: So he got his first nine. His score was 33
- 52:48Speaker 3: out of 40. They did a great job, but maybe
- 52:51Speaker 3: it wasn't his best dance. Yeah.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:53Speaker 2: But he's, he's phenomenal. All right. Ezra. Okay. Ezra and Danny.
- 53:08Speaker 2: It was very interesting to me.
- 53:10Speaker 3: And you guys have to tell me because I did
- 53:13Speaker 3: not see him, them at all before. And we saw
- 53:16Speaker 3: plenty of people in the skybox.
- 53:19Speaker 4: Well, I saw Jackson at one point chomping on his
- 53:21Speaker 4: chewing gum and I couldn't unsee it.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like, well, who let him have chewing gum?
- 53:26Speaker 2: He's on live television.
- 53:27Speaker 4: And he was right directly behind whichever dancer it was
- 53:30Speaker 4: just chomping away.
- 53:31Speaker 2: And I was like, why are you doing that? This
- 53:33Speaker 2: is ABC television. What's he doing with that bubble gum?
- 53:35Speaker 1: Yes.
- 53:37Speaker 2: So.
- 53:38Speaker 3: I was like, why are they keeping him from the fans?
- 53:42Speaker 3: Which was very interesting to me. Also of note, he
- 53:46Speaker 3: went last last week. He went last this week.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Do they normally switch that up? Yes. It was very
- 53:53Speaker 2: interesting to me.
- 53:54Speaker 3: Like going last two weeks in a row was significant
- 53:58Speaker 3: to me to where I said something to Danielle and
- 54:00Speaker 3: her husband and he was like, oh, we just said that.
- 54:03Speaker 3: That they noticed it too. I don't know the significance
- 54:07Speaker 3: of that. I don't know if it means anything. I
- 54:10Speaker 3: don't know if something's going on behind the scenes and
- 54:12Speaker 3: they did, they needed to like chill in their trailer
- 54:15Speaker 3: or something, but I will say he still is my pick.
- 54:20Speaker 2: That dance was amazing. Nelly, Danny is a freaking rock star.
- 54:26Speaker 3: You guys, we talked to both of them. I, I
- 54:30Speaker 3: have So much to say.
- 54:31Speaker 2: I'm also mind blown this week. I did not know
- 54:34Speaker 2: that she and Pasha. Yes, are married. Yeah, and they
- 54:37Speaker 2: have a baby girl. I'm just getting really schooled this season.
- 54:41Speaker 2: That a lot of them are like married to each other.
- 54:43Speaker 2: Like there's a whole thing going on, but I saw
- 54:44Speaker 2: those little. And divorced. Oh, really? Yes, yes.
- 54:49Speaker 4: Okay, well, I just learned in the last seven days
- 54:53Speaker 4: that the two of them are married.
- 54:54Speaker 2: Yes, they are. Happily married. Very happily married.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Could you imagine?
- 54:58Speaker 4: They just like wake up. They're just like, darling, let
- 55:01Speaker 4: me get you out of the bed. And he like
- 55:02Speaker 4: spins her around the room, you know?
- 55:04Speaker 2: Golly. So I don't know. Did they talk about this
- 55:08Speaker 2: in the package? She threw out a rib.
- 55:13Speaker 3: Like her rib got like, I don't know what you
- 55:15Speaker 3: call it, dislocated or popped out or something.
- 55:19Speaker 2: You guys could not tell. Tell me. Could you tell
- 55:21Speaker 2: that she was injured? No. Hell no.
- 55:24Speaker 3: No.
- 55:25Speaker 2: She is a freaking like, Rockstar.
- 55:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Blew my mind finding that out.
- 55:32Speaker 3: She was in so much pain after the show and
- 55:34Speaker 3: she's like, I've got to go get this taken care
- 55:36Speaker 3: of or whatever, but still so kind. And I was
- 55:39Speaker 3: saying to her, um, Millsy was in, in.
- 55:44Speaker 2: At the show last night. Yes. Got to give him
- 55:46Speaker 2: a big hug. Um, and we talked and, uh, about,
- 55:51Speaker 2: you know, bachelor stuff. At what point are we going
- 55:54Speaker 2: to get that insight?
- 55:56Speaker 3: Um, and yeah, As I was sitting with Danielle and
- 56:01Speaker 3: her husband, we were talking about how Ezra would be,
- 56:05Speaker 3: like he would be the saving grace for the show.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Like he would save the show. We were literally talking
- 56:10Speaker 2: about this on Almost Famous yesterday. We were just having
- 56:13Speaker 2: this conversation. He is young. He is young.
- 56:16Speaker 3: But this is why I'm bringing this up.
- 56:18Speaker 2: Dani was like, I said that to her.
- 56:21Speaker 3: I was like, oh my God, I want him for Bachelor.
- 56:23Speaker 2: And she was like, nope. And I was like, wait, why?
- 56:26Speaker 2: And she, first of all, he's 21.
- 56:28Speaker 4: He's very young to be a bachelor. We, Joan and
- 56:31Speaker 4: I had this conversation on Almost Famous.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 56:34Speaker 2: He is very young, but I feel like he's pretty
- 56:37Speaker 2: mature for his age. Very mature. Like maybe they can
- 56:40Speaker 2: revamp the show and make it like, they just like,
- 56:43Speaker 2: they just like date. She was like, no, you cannot
- 56:46Speaker 2: do that. I know I will not allow it because
- 56:48Speaker 2: he's like my baby brother and I'm very protective over him.
- 56:51Speaker 2: And I was like, that actually makes me like, Oh,
- 56:54Speaker 2: we don't care, Danny. He can make a great bachelor. Okay.
- 56:57Speaker 2: It's good that you love him and protect him. He's yeah.
- 57:01Speaker 2: I'm down. I mean, he would, he's amazing. Did you
- 57:05Speaker 2: put in a good word for him last night? Oh,
- 57:07Speaker 2: I love him.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Um, I, I didn't have the opportunity to like, after I, uh,
- 57:15Speaker 3: saw Millsy, that's when the show happened.
- 57:17Speaker 2: I will be, I will be, I'm, This is not
- 57:21Speaker 2: like news to them. This is not like a brand
- 57:23Speaker 2: new idea. They are all about it. He addressed it.
- 57:27Speaker 2: He acted surprised. He made a comment. He acted surprised.
- 57:30Speaker 2: He was like, oh, really? I didn't know that this
- 57:32Speaker 2: was the rumor.
- 57:33Speaker 3: Oh, but still, I'm saying like Millsy and the powers
- 57:36Speaker 3: that be are all about it.
- 57:37Speaker 2: They have to be looking at him.
- 57:38Speaker 3: Heck yeah.
- 57:39Speaker 4: I think it would be a solid choice because if
- 57:42Speaker 4: they do film another season, it, listen, I'm not so
- 57:45Speaker 4: sure they're going to be able to save it, but
- 57:47Speaker 4: I believe that Ezra could be A solid choice to
- 57:51Speaker 4: save the show.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Uh-huh. Yep.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Completely.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 57:55Speaker 3: So we were waiting to take pictures with Ezra and Danny.
- 57:59Speaker 3: They were like our last celebs that the girls wanted
- 58:01Speaker 3: to get pictures with. And we were just standing there
- 58:04Speaker 3: and this guy walks up to me and he starts
- 58:06Speaker 3: talking to us and it turns out he was so sweet.
- 58:10Speaker 3: And it turned out to be Ezra's dad.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Yes.
- 58:14Speaker 2: I just love him.
- 58:15Speaker 3: And then the mom came up and was introducing herself
- 58:18Speaker 3: to the girls and Like, just down to earth.
- 58:20Speaker 2: They're probably our age, Trista. Outrage? They're our age. His
- 58:24Speaker 2: mom and dad. Oh, our age. For sure, they're our age.
- 58:27Speaker 2: I was joking with Joan. He was in elementary school
- 58:29Speaker 2: when I was a bachelorette. No, baby. He was one. No, literally,
- 58:32Speaker 2: I said to him. He was one years old.
- 58:34Speaker 3: You guys, I said, this is my opening line to
- 58:37Speaker 3: most people is, hi, I was on the show, but
- 58:40Speaker 3: you probably, I don't think you were born yet. And
- 58:43Speaker 3: I literally said to him, I'm like, I've said this
- 58:45Speaker 3: to multiple people tonight, but I think it's actually true.
- 58:47Speaker 2: This is actually true this time.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Cause he's 21.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Right.
- 58:51Speaker 4: So, which means his mom and dad have to be
- 58:53Speaker 4: much closer to our age.
- 58:54Speaker 2: For sure.
- 58:55Speaker 3: We were talking about college. His dad was asking the
- 58:58Speaker 3: girls like where they're going to go. Anyway, it was
- 59:01Speaker 3: so sweet. Ezra is still my pick to win. He
- 59:04Speaker 3: and Danny just crushed it last night. They got all nines,
- 59:07Speaker 3: just like Jenna top of the leaderboard. And I think
- 59:11Speaker 3: it's just going to continue. I don't know that he's
- 59:14Speaker 3: been the first to get like a higher score. I
- 59:16Speaker 3: think next week, I hope because he's been the last
- 59:20Speaker 3: this week and last week that he'll be either first
- 59:23Speaker 3: or in the beginning of the show and he'll get
- 59:24Speaker 3: the first 10.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah, I mean, I think you're right.
- 59:27Speaker 4: Like, I hardly even, like, pay attention to his dances
- 59:30Speaker 4: anymore because I'm like, well, Tristan's got him pegged to win.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Fine, that's what it's going to be.
- 59:34Speaker 4: So we had Ezra, Danny, Jenna, and Val, Amber, and Pasha.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Those were our top three. Our bottom, Tatiana and... Jan.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Why can't I say his name?
- 59:45Speaker 4: Tatiana and Jan were in our bottom three. Connor and Riley,
- 59:50Speaker 4: Guillermo and Whitney. This is where I started to sweat.
- 59:53Speaker 3: I know. Okay, so this is my story. We're sitting
- 59:57Speaker 3: right by Jojo Siwa. Jojo Siwa is like one of
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: Tyler's besties because they were on Special Forces together. And
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: the camera comes over as the three like, yes, the
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: camera comes over and is like right on Jojo.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: And you're like, no, no, no.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: And I was like, crap, he's going home. And I
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: went up to Jojo after the show was over and
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: I said, I was so scared because the camera was
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: in your face and all I thought was, oh crap,
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Tyler's going home.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: And she's like, I did the same thing.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: She was like, I was thinking about what I was
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: going to do. Like if he actually was voted off
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: the show. So I was really panicked. And thank God
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: it didn't happen.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I was really panicked, right?
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: When you see him and Guillermo standing up there, I'm like,
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: this cannot be what it's come down to. This cannot,
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: we cannot, we are in this for our bachelor alum.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Yes, for sure.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: But as we saw, Guillermo and Whitney were eliminated last
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: night and it was time.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: It was time.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: And there is our big debate going on social media
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: about if the show is rigged or not.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: It is still happening.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: It was still off the walls last week about whether
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: the show is, is a rigged or not. And also
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: people who are like telling me I need to calm
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: down long live Guillermo, but you know, I say it
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: in the nicest way possible that it was time.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: It was his time. It was time. And let Whitney
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: rest for God's sake. That's, that's what I feel. Let
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: her take a load off and rest her bare toes
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: and her belly.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I feel like she needs, she needs to be able
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: to just now bake, like bake that baby and, and.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Make her pancakes with her children and just rest in
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: all of her glory. Please.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: She's not getting off scot-free. Like she's going to be
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: dancing every week. She'll be dancing on the show. She
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: just won't be partnered with a celeb, you know? She
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: won't have to do the rehearsals with a celeb where
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: she's teaching them and doing the choreography. She'll be doing
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: somebody else's choreography.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: Let that belly hang out, girl.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Oh, I mean, she deserves a break.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: I think it was time for Guillermo to leave, and
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: I'm so thankful that Tyler was not sent home when
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: I was in the ballroom.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: We get to watch him dance another week. I know. Yay.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Gosh, it was so much fun. I had the best time,
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: and I just wish I could.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: So we need like a, who do we need to
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: call to get like a standing invite where we can
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: just go every single week?
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Our producers have to know people. Well, I mean, Millsy
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: was there. It's his show. Yeah.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I mean, it's an ABC show, so we are, we
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: are family, but yeah, it's, it's a hard ticket to get.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Alfonso was like, I, um, we were talking about how
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: he was trying to get tickets for somebody and.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: He's like, wait, you got five tickets last night. I'm like,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: I got lucky. I was the first bachelorette ever, Alfonso.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: But also I got really lucky and I asked a
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: really long time ago.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Okay. Because we knew that, I knew.
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: That I wanted to take the girls to the show
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: like once they announced that we were gonna, that when
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: they were gonna start the show, I was like, I
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: have to take the girls to the show.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: It's their senior year.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: Because it was like we had like inside information this episode.
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: We had like an insider sitting in the audience last night.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: So I'm really glad that you got to go and
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: you give us all the behind the scenes looks. And
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: I guess if we have anything to take away is
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: that they need to pass out some snacks.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Snacks and water.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Snacks.
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I'm in it for the snacks. All right.
