- 0:14Speaker 1: using its new Airbus eight three twenty one xl or aircraft.
- 0:18Speaker 1: This brings the number of transatlantic routes operated by the
- 0:21Speaker 1: airline from Dublin, Shannon and Manchester to twenty four. Steelers
- 0:25Speaker 1: fans traveling to Ireland for the big game can enjoy
- 0:27Speaker 1: a relaxing journey when they fly with air Lingus. Air Lingus,
- 0:31Speaker 1: You're very welcome.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome into the Irish Staters podcast presented by Erlingus,
- 0:44Speaker 2: our first sort of main podcast since well, unless you've
- 0:48Speaker 2: been living under some sort of rock or having on
- 0:51Speaker 2: the internet. The Steelers game to Dublin triumphally beat the
- 0:54Speaker 2: Vikings have had a bye week. We're going in the
- 0:56Speaker 2: week six now. The one guy, I really one of
- 0:59Speaker 2: the one with a guy has now officially seen more
- 1:01Speaker 2: of the island of Ireland than I have I thought
- 1:04Speaker 2: is Max Starks. You're very welcome. You were very welcome
- 1:07Speaker 2: to Arland as well.
- 1:08Speaker 3: How are you doing. I'm doing good. And and Mike,
- 1:11Speaker 3: I think I'll just change my name to Max Mick Starks.
- 1:14Speaker 3: So we'll we'll, we'll, we'll go from there. I tried,
- 1:17Speaker 3: oh Starks, it didn't really didn't really flow as well.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It's not as cool as like Barack Obama. You know,
- 1:24Speaker 3: you know, you don't have it. So I figure Mix
- 1:25Speaker 3: Starks is a good start for me. I've now become
- 1:30Speaker 3: the unofficial Steelers Ambassador to Ireland. I'm just gonna go
- 1:34Speaker 3: ahead and and and put that out there. Uh, not
- 1:37Speaker 3: to be confused with Ambassador Rooney and what he did
- 1:40Speaker 3: for our our our government and for the m for
- 1:43Speaker 3: the Emerald AU. But it was. It was absolutely amazing, Mick.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I mean to go to eight different counties in four
- 1:49Speaker 3: days and visit the vast amount of fans that we
- 1:52Speaker 3: got to touch and soon to be fans at the time,
- 1:56Speaker 3: and I'm sure we probably converted them as they watched
- 1:59Speaker 3: the game and realized on the right side of history.
- 2:02Speaker 3: With taking the terrible towels that we distributed and waving
- 2:05Speaker 3: them proudly. They realized they had a championship tow a
- 2:08Speaker 3: winner's towel in their hand, and it was not a
- 2:11Speaker 3: dishreg a couple people try to use as a dishreg.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh, there's somewhat stu impack from that. Like first off,
- 2:18Speaker 2: before we even talk about that, it was like, it
- 2:21Speaker 2: was funny. It just sums up Dublin in a sense.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I think I walked into a borrow one night and
- 2:24Speaker 2: seeing you got the chat here for thirty zac and
- 2:26Speaker 2: s a minute in the hectic week.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Just brilliant to see.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You guys over here but not just come over but
- 2:32Speaker 2: actually do so much stuff. And you talk about mister
- 2:36Speaker 2: Rooney there, I know he would be very, very proud
- 2:38Speaker 2: of what the team has done over the last few weeks.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Before we talk about the terrible towel situation and that
- 2:45Speaker 2: whole tour, what was it like for you, especially whenever
- 2:48Speaker 2: you got to Dublin and we're able not to relax,
- 2:50Speaker 2: but able to be like, right, this is happening. I mean,
- 2:53Speaker 2: did it like for me? It obviously meant an awful
- 2:56Speaker 2: lot in the personal level, but it definitely max exceeded
- 2:59Speaker 2: my expectation in regards to highcro Park. Looked the amounted
- 3:04Speaker 2: staters fans that We've seen a lot more Vikings fans
- 3:07Speaker 2: in London last weekend than we've probably seen in Dublin.
- 3:09Speaker 2: It was almost like a proper Theaters home game, undead
- 3:12Speaker 2: the highest attendance first theaters game outside of Akrascher ever,
- 3:16Speaker 2: I'm glad to believe.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, no, absolutely, and you're absolutely correct. We haven't had
- 3:22Speaker 3: that type of neutral site venue with that. I mean
- 3:24Speaker 3: you're talking about Croke Park, which normally seats eighty three thousand,
- 3:28Speaker 3: got retro fitted for our game in that Hill sixteen side.
- 3:33Speaker 3: See huh still remember the hill side of the stadium.
- 3:36Speaker 3: You've got it, You got it and made it seventy
- 3:39Speaker 3: five thousand. So it took down that capacity because that's
- 3:42Speaker 3: usually a standing room area, and that is the largest
- 3:45Speaker 3: because it is larger than Afrosure you know when you
- 3:48Speaker 3: think about it, and to have the turnout to transform
- 3:53Speaker 3: that stadium into Akrosure East is fantastic and phenomen I
- 4:00Speaker 3: mean from all of the badging, having Larry Richard there
- 4:03Speaker 3: as the PA announcer and just everything around it, playing
- 4:08Speaker 3: Renegade in the fourth quarter, it was just it gave
- 4:12Speaker 3: you all the feels of being at home. I think
- 4:16Speaker 3: that's why we had such a high international I guess
- 4:20Speaker 3: because it's in Dublin, so international presence of Americans coming
- 4:24Speaker 3: from the States to Dublin. And really it gives a
- 4:28Speaker 3: great case study for the NFL to show that you
- 4:31Speaker 3: can pick cities like Dublin where people feel safe, they
- 4:37Speaker 3: are they're welcomed, there is fun, there's pure excitement. The
- 4:41Speaker 3: Irish hospitality that you always hear about, that warmth of
- 4:45Speaker 3: Ireland just shine through it every moment. I mean, you
- 4:49Speaker 3: had guys walking the streets with their families, and yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 3: you got stopped by some of the fanatical fans, but
- 4:55Speaker 3: you never felt uncomfortable. You never felt like, oh my god,
- 4:57Speaker 3: I can't go here. I mean, you know, one night,
- 5:00Speaker 3: I think I had my kids out at like eleven
- 5:01Speaker 3: o'clock because we had had a late dinner and we
- 5:04Speaker 3: went and got some gelato afterwards, and it was perfectly fine.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Now mind you, that's prime pub hours because we were
- 5:10Speaker 3: right by Temple Bar. But everybody was respectful, there was
- 5:13Speaker 3: no arguing, there was no fights, and everybody just was
- 5:18Speaker 3: joyous in the moment. I thought that was really special
- 5:20Speaker 3: and the country of Ireland just did a tremendous job
- 5:24Speaker 3: of the hospitality and the welcoming of the NFL.
- 5:28Speaker 2: As a former player at first and foremost seeing what
- 5:30Speaker 2: the Viking's done in terms of going out there and
- 5:32Speaker 2: then going to London. Look, I know this is a
- 5:35Speaker 2: team podcast, but I think from a fan's viewpoint first
- 5:38Speaker 2: and foremost definitely myself, you expect to see that as
- 5:41Speaker 2: a norm in the future, and I know many Theedars
- 5:43Speaker 2: fans will be listening to discreaming Okay, well let's go
- 5:46Speaker 2: over as in the way it see Megain. I think
- 5:47Speaker 2: Dublin definitely has put itself in a conversation anyway. It
- 5:51Speaker 2: would be great to have them back again within this pricing.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, listen, I think what green Bay has
- 5:57Speaker 3: the market as well? Who else am I thinking.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Of as so obviously the main teams Theaters, Jigs, Green Bay,
- 6:05Speaker 2: and the Chiefs the Jets. I feel like that's correct.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Many I could definitely play the Jets and IRA don't
- 6:13Speaker 3: feel bad about that. But I mean, but the good
- 6:16Speaker 3: thing is, like you said, Jets, Jags and Chiefs AFC teams,
- 6:19Speaker 3: teams that you could get on a rotating basis that
- 6:23Speaker 3: wouldn't necessarily be it would be your featured division in
- 6:28Speaker 3: a season just like the Vikings or the future divisions
- 6:31Speaker 3: out of conference for us. So the fact that you
- 6:35Speaker 3: can have potential of that, because if not, if you're
- 6:37Speaker 3: waiting for the Vikings or Green Bay or somebody, it's
- 6:40Speaker 3: every four years that you're that away team for them,
- 6:43Speaker 3: unless you get a one off from the NFL that
- 6:46Speaker 3: seventeenth game. But the better odds would be Jags, Jets, Chiefs,
- 6:51Speaker 3: because you know you would get there more frequently. And yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 3: oh my god, would I jump at the opportunity Even
- 6:59Speaker 3: if we didn't I have a terrible towel tour because
- 7:01Speaker 3: we'reth the away team, I would still probably still get
- 7:03Speaker 3: there on Monday and just do all of my shows
- 7:06Speaker 3: from some pub Kennedy's probably, or fitz Simon's who did
- 7:11Speaker 3: a great job, or some of the other pubs. I mean,
- 7:13Speaker 3: I might even go back to Gork and do it
- 7:15Speaker 3: from Heart's Pub. It was an awesome time.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I promise you one question before we
- 7:25Speaker 2: talked about this terrible tal one more question we It
- 7:28Speaker 2: was not even a question, it's more just of a conversation.
- 7:30Speaker 2: And had the chance I left, I was obviously on
- 7:34Speaker 2: TV walked out done the end of our Rogers Press.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I think it was the last player walked out, walked
- 7:40Speaker 2: on the tunnel and seen all you guys, and I
- 7:42Speaker 2: thought it was a really cool moment, just seeing the
- 7:44Speaker 2: team obviously very happy from winning, but seeing him get
- 7:47Speaker 2: onto the bus coach Tomlin, et cetera. You must have
- 7:51Speaker 2: been exhausted that point, surely, yeah, come on, like, yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 3: It was. It was. It was the end to a
- 7:58Speaker 3: very long week. It was enjoyable, but you're right. The
- 8:02Speaker 3: snooze hours were not comparable to the awake hours that
- 8:07Speaker 3: I did. But I will say this, losing that type
- 8:10Speaker 3: of sleep, I was like, you can sleep when you're dead.
- 8:13Speaker 3: That was an amazing opportunity, once in a lifetime opportunity
- 8:17Speaker 3: to go over to a foreign country. One that's been
- 8:20Speaker 3: on my bucket list was traveling to Ireland to see
- 8:23Speaker 3: it to the degree that I did, and be as
- 8:27Speaker 3: received and just to go through that whole experience. I mean,
- 8:32Speaker 3: you know, getting to meet Dairy FC football club, right,
- 8:36Speaker 3: getting to meet Munster and their rugby team, getting to
- 8:39Speaker 3: meet in Killarney and play with some hurling kids. It
- 8:43Speaker 3: was just seeing kill Kenny Castle, the Cliffs of More,
- 8:46Speaker 3: the legendary of Dairy.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I'm on, I've lived here for over thirty years. I've
- 8:52Speaker 2: never been to the cliffs and more as well, I
- 8:54Speaker 2: hope to give it to you for play. You've seen
- 8:55Speaker 2: more to that in the meat and the thing that
- 8:57Speaker 2: the really important thing that you've mentioned counties, right, But
- 9:01Speaker 2: you guys were driving through way more than that as well,
- 9:04Speaker 2: so you've seen a lot. Like so I mentioned some
- 9:06Speaker 2: places there. You fly in to Dublin and then you
- 9:10Speaker 2: go straight with Canty and then Killarney. You know me,
- 9:13Speaker 2: Patty Clifford and Killarney. I know I noticed Sam Magar.
- 9:16Speaker 2: We didn't make an appearance, but Potty seemed in good
- 9:18Speaker 2: form to try try and remember even though it was
- 9:21Speaker 2: two weeks ago, like the chronological order of how that went,
- 9:24Speaker 2: And is there any stories that we haven't heard of yet.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Did you stop off at the filling station to get
- 9:29Speaker 2: a chicken fillip roll or anything or what was the plan?
- 9:32Speaker 3: I'm glad you mentioned that, because yes, I did stop
- 9:34Speaker 3: at a couple of filling stations. I had had two
- 9:38Speaker 3: Chicken filet rolls on my on my on my journey,
- 9:41Speaker 3: one of them being when we left Belfast. That's probably
- 9:44Speaker 3: my favorite one. And it was like and the gas
- 9:46Speaker 3: stations look like travel plazas in America, like they do.
- 9:50Speaker 3: They're not just a petrol station you pull up, you
- 9:52Speaker 3: gas up in like some CD you know store with
- 9:55Speaker 3: all kinds of bobbles in it. But I mean it's
- 9:58Speaker 3: like a full proper food court, kids play place, like
- 10:01Speaker 3: kids stopped there for lunch, like there was a lot
- 10:03Speaker 3: of primary school kids running through, like the little ballpit
- 10:07Speaker 3: and everything. It was. It was amazing. But no, we
- 10:10Speaker 3: so mandon Dublin. Thirty minutes in Dublin at the hotel room,
- 10:13Speaker 3: changed packed the bag head to kill Kenny Castle and
- 10:15Speaker 3: kill Kenny. From Kill Kenny, drive to Kilarney. Like you said,
- 10:18Speaker 3: met potty Clifford met met two youth leagues, one for hurling.
- 10:23Speaker 3: That's where I learned how to hurl, and that's where
- 10:25Speaker 3: I have my beautiful hurling sticks. There we go right there,
- 10:31Speaker 3: Nation is.
- 10:32Speaker 2: The question is can you do it? Can you still hurt?
- 10:34Speaker 2: Of even practice? Since I have not practices.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I've only been home for about twenty seven hours, so
- 10:40Speaker 3: I promise I will once I get caught up on
- 10:43Speaker 3: my sleep. But so we practiced practice hurling. Then we
- 10:46Speaker 3: went Killarney. Rugby went with them and they kind of
- 10:49Speaker 3: showed me about the whole lift and everything else, trying
- 10:51Speaker 3: to trying to swap the rugby ball away from him.
- 10:53Speaker 3: It was it was very bad attempt. Went to J.
- 10:57Speaker 3: M Ready's there and and poured my friend first guinness pint.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Got my first perfect poor certificate at jam Reedy's, a
- 11:03Speaker 3: very old historical bar there in Killarney. Stayed there the night.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Next morning drove up to Limerick, went to University of
- 11:11Speaker 3: Limerick and also visited with Munster Rugby. They're on the
- 11:13Speaker 3: same campus you met.
- 11:15Speaker 2: You met Steelers Funds in Limerick that this will surprise me.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Steelers genuine lives, wrap them up in Steers.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Yeah, like walking up Steelers jerseys, Steeler sweaters, one sweatshirts.
- 11:27Speaker 3: One girl was like, oh my god, why are you
- 11:30Speaker 3: guys here. I I'm from swiss Vale. I was like, what,
- 11:33Speaker 3: You're from Swissville going to school at the University of Limerick.
- 11:37Speaker 3: So it was just it was fantastic to engage with
- 11:40Speaker 3: students on a random day and their their team is
- 11:44Speaker 3: the Vikings. Funny enough, but they're they're the Blue Vikings,
- 11:46Speaker 3: not the Purple Vikings.
- 11:47Speaker 2: On the and I will say I will say, very
- 11:51Speaker 2: very good people, Liam Ryan, the ul Vikings lovely, lovely
- 11:55Speaker 2: people and that would have meant a lot to the NBC.
- 11:57Speaker 2: You guys in Limerick, seriously.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and we had a blast there. We took a
- 12:01Speaker 3: picture with them with their banner and everything at the end.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Then went over to Monster Rugby, addressed the team, obviously,
- 12:07Speaker 3: did a jersey exchange with Sean Casey. He's stood on
- 12:10Speaker 3: he stood on the bench. It was hilarious because we
- 12:12Speaker 3: took the first picture and he was like, no way, nope, nope, nope,
- 12:17Speaker 3: He's like waving it off and he's like, stands on
- 12:20Speaker 3: the bench. Now, this is right. We took the picture,
- 12:23Speaker 3: so we got we we haven't distributed the actual hype
- 12:26Speaker 3: differential videos with him actually standing on the ground. Then
- 12:31Speaker 3: went out and tossed the ball out with ty Burns
- 12:33Speaker 3: for a little bit and he showed me the proper
- 12:35Speaker 3: form on on on how on how to pass and
- 12:37Speaker 3: lateral Do you know, just.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Just just just a casual yeah, typer and yeah, just yeah.
- 12:42Speaker 3: Exactly, you know, hey, just he's just he's just a guy.
- 12:45Speaker 3: He's just a guy. He just happens to be one
- 12:47Speaker 3: of the best in rugby and all the Island world.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah, well I will say this on It's something like
- 12:57Speaker 2: I obviously live up north, so I I hear you
- 13:00Speaker 2: to a place called Gort in County Galway. Right, I'm like,
- 13:03Speaker 2: what's going? Like? Did this mo almost be racked for
- 13:05Speaker 2: a start for a plan of him Hearts Pub talks
- 13:08Speaker 2: to me about this and talks to me about white
- 13:10Speaker 2: because like I want to those about is this like
- 13:12Speaker 2: a Cedar's pub in Galway or what's the crocker?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Yeah? It is so So after we left Limerick we
- 13:17Speaker 3: hit the Cliffs of More and that was absolutely breathtaking.
- 13:20Speaker 3: And then we drive to Gork and we're in like
- 13:24Speaker 3: this little town square because you don't have most like
- 13:26Speaker 3: the smaller towns around Ireland. Like you drive in there's
- 13:30Speaker 3: a big central square, get the four exits off, and
- 13:33Speaker 3: then kind of you go off to the homes like
- 13:35Speaker 3: this is the this is where the market is, hardware store,
- 13:38Speaker 3: this is where everything is. And then right on the
- 13:41Speaker 3: side street right there black and Goal Hearts Pub And
- 13:45Speaker 3: when we pull up there are like forty people outside.
- 13:49Speaker 3: They're like we've been here all day and we've been
- 13:52Speaker 3: waiting for you. We can't wait. You walk in it's
- 13:54Speaker 3: like walking into your uncle's man cave basement, like over
- 13:59Speaker 3: over and over over in like the south Side, like
- 14:04Speaker 3: south Side flats, like you know, it's just it is
- 14:06Speaker 3: a very homely. There's video, there's there's Steelers videos playing
- 14:11Speaker 3: on replay in the corner on the big screen. They've
- 14:14Speaker 3: got all kinds of Steelers, pale of paraphernalia on the walls,
- 14:17Speaker 3: because we obviously know you can only tell an Irish
- 14:20Speaker 3: pub by how many photos and paraphernalias hanging from the
- 14:23Speaker 3: walls and the ceilings. That's where you know you're in
- 14:25Speaker 3: a real Irish pub if it has clean walls. Don't
- 14:27Speaker 3: drink the guinness there, right, you know what I'm saying.
- 14:29Speaker 3: This was pat chalked full of all kinds of memorabilia,
- 14:33Speaker 3: and the and the people there were just amazing. Karen Hart,
- 14:37Speaker 3: her son in law, he was he's a huge Steeler
- 14:40Speaker 3: fan as well, but he was also a Florida Gator fan,
- 14:42Speaker 3: so he had a Steeler sweatshirt on and then he
- 14:44Speaker 3: had a Gator's polo underneath it. As we show up
- 14:47Speaker 3: in this bar and it was just it felt like home.
- 14:50Speaker 3: We spent about two and a half hours there. I
- 14:52Speaker 3: poured way too many guinnesses and and and and opened
- 14:55Speaker 3: a bunch of siders and different bottle beers that and
- 14:58Speaker 3: I care to remember by being behind the and just
- 15:01Speaker 3: had a good time just hanging out and it was
- 15:03Speaker 3: a comfortable, familiar environment, So it was amazing. That was
- 15:07Speaker 3: a nice little departure for us before we actually got
- 15:10Speaker 3: into Galway City proper.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Galway City, slide goo up to the northwest in Derry
- 15:17Speaker 2: and then I get to meet you in Belfast. Yeah,
- 15:20Speaker 2: that was really cool because I've obviously been looked very
- 15:22Speaker 2: look you just chatty before, but to meet you, like
- 15:25Speaker 2: for people that aren't to wear Max is a giant.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I'm looking up at him like how's it going, man,
- 15:29Speaker 2: what's the crack? And I was like this man, you
- 15:31Speaker 2: literally just arrived before. I was very very honored to
- 15:33Speaker 2: be on the bus with a few different guys, but
- 15:35Speaker 2: arrived up brilliant to see you. That flag football clinic
- 15:39Speaker 2: was was brilliant in Belfast. And just before we do
- 15:43Speaker 2: this on the road down to the new because I
- 15:45Speaker 2: have another chance to post this in I'm going to
- 15:47Speaker 2: give people a little bonus segment here. I had a
- 15:50Speaker 2: chance to chat to Jerome Ballace and I Tler on
- 15:52Speaker 2: the bus line before the game, sitting here and a
- 15:57Speaker 2: bus just leaving near County Dine on the way back
- 16:02Speaker 2: from a memorable memorable day with you know, legends sometimes
- 16:06Speaker 2: can be used easily. This guy really is Jerome batist Man. Honored,
- 16:11Speaker 2: honored to never mind be sitting here beside you, but
- 16:13Speaker 2: just to meet you as well. How are you doing?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Welcome dand oh.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Man, thank you appreciate it. I appreciate it. I'm enjoying
- 16:21Speaker 4: Ireland immensely, really having a great time here.
- 16:24Speaker 2: It's one thing for somebody to come into Dublin, but
- 16:26Speaker 2: that's another thing for a guy like yourself to get
- 16:27Speaker 2: on the bus head of the Bell Foster for today
- 16:30Speaker 2: and then had to Neary. How did you find the
- 16:33Speaker 2: experience with children this morning? The flag football?
- 16:35Speaker 3: Didion? Didjon? Johnny?
- 16:36Speaker 4: I so enjoyed the experience coming to Belfast, seeing a
- 16:40Speaker 4: different part of Ireland, seeing that the entire country, you know,
- 16:45Speaker 4: and so many times you only get a chance to
- 16:47Speaker 4: see the areas that you are in, but to you know,
- 16:51Speaker 4: make this trip, see a lot of the countryside, see
- 16:55Speaker 4: you know, different cultures and see how they're able to coexist. Uh,
- 17:00Speaker 4: it's it's really fun. I was really happy and excited
- 17:04Speaker 4: to see everything.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. It hit me that there's an
- 17:07Speaker 2: NFL game coming here. Obvious he's a big fun We
- 17:10Speaker 2: were in Sa Mari's high schooler for an award, which
- 17:12Speaker 2: we'll talk about a little bit later on the podcast,
- 17:15Speaker 2: and this guy walks in with his gold jacket on
- 17:17Speaker 2: and not hit me. And how did you find just
- 17:20Speaker 2: that experience get being in that school and obviously speaking
- 17:23Speaker 2: to those children and young adults really as well, that's
- 17:26Speaker 2: something they'll never forget the one honestly.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Well, for me, it was It's something that you know,
- 17:31Speaker 4: I appreciate, but I also understand the significance because you know,
- 17:40Speaker 4: I was a kid too, right, and I looked and
- 17:42Speaker 4: I wanted to see what success looked like. And in
- 17:46Speaker 4: my neighborhood there wasn't a lot of pictures of what
- 17:50Speaker 4: success looked like. H And so I want to try
- 17:53Speaker 4: to provide a picture of that every chance I get.
- 17:56Speaker 4: And so that's why I felt it was important, because
- 17:58Speaker 4: those are the ages where the young people are encourageable,
- 18:01Speaker 4: and if you show them that, hey, there is a
- 18:05Speaker 4: pathway an education is that pathway? Then you're gonna get
- 18:10Speaker 4: the future leaders up tomorrow.
- 18:13Speaker 2: You were here in ninety seven. First off, what's it
- 18:16Speaker 2: like being in Dublin and being back around that stadium?
- 18:19Speaker 2: And secondly, Don Ronney, what does he mean to you
- 18:22Speaker 2: as as a player? You know, I'm even for a
- 18:25Speaker 2: mentor figure and I got there as well. He'd be
- 18:26Speaker 2: very proud this weekend.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Yeah, Dann Ronney was was He was the best, the
- 18:31Speaker 4: absolute best. He knew how to create an organization and
- 18:37Speaker 4: run an organization because it felt not like an organization
- 18:41Speaker 4: but like a family.
- 18:42Speaker 5: And so you know, he would be so proud that
- 18:47Speaker 5: his family is here playing in the first ever regular
- 18:53Speaker 5: season game because he puts so much in to make
- 18:57Speaker 5: it happen for the preseason, much less the regular season.
- 19:03Speaker 5: So I think he would be so proud.
- 19:06Speaker 4: But he also be proud of the commitment that the
- 19:08Speaker 4: NFL is making to Ireland as well, And so you
- 19:13Speaker 4: know it would be hey, we've done, We're doing great,
- 19:16Speaker 4: Let's do more. Uh, And I know that's what he
- 19:18Speaker 4: would be saying.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I spoke to coach kyr at the Super Bowl a
- 19:21Speaker 2: couple of years ago. I got the story of how
- 19:24Speaker 2: Patricia really wanted to win the trophy in the East
- 19:26Speaker 2: seven as a player. I know it's hard to think
- 19:28Speaker 2: I can remember, but like a for you guys, preseason
- 19:29Speaker 2: games usually aren't a big deal. Let's getting practice in repsent.
- 19:33Speaker 2: What was that like whenever you were told or you know, right, guys,
- 19:35Speaker 2: we have to win this game.
- 19:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I remember, I remember in practice coach telling us
- 19:40Speaker 4: because he wanted us to understand that it's significant. So
- 19:43Speaker 4: we gotta bust our ass in practice because we got
- 19:47Speaker 4: to win this game.
- 19:49Speaker 3: We gotta begin.
- 19:50Speaker 4: It's not just to start all of us because you
- 19:53Speaker 4: know the young guys that are gonna be the ones playing.
- 19:56Speaker 4: So you guys got to figure out how to win
- 19:58Speaker 4: this football game. So you know, he put a mandate
- 20:02Speaker 4: on the entire team. But I think that's that's what
- 20:05Speaker 4: you have to do. You know, when something that's important
- 20:08Speaker 4: to you, you you let let everybody know. Hey, guys,
- 20:12Speaker 4: we're playing for something bigger than just us. We want
- 20:15Speaker 4: to win this trophy for her. She wanted that that
- 20:18Speaker 4: that uh crystal, and by goodness she.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Got it and it's still in the trophy cabital to
- 20:24Speaker 2: this that just finally, Mane, you have witnessed and experienced
- 20:28Speaker 2: greatness in your career and obviously going out in the
- 20:32Speaker 2: very right top and the place that meant so much
- 20:34Speaker 2: to you as well. What's it like not only being
- 20:37Speaker 2: a stater but winning at all and actually having that
- 20:40Speaker 2: glory in that moment?
- 20:41Speaker 4: It was you know, it was everything because you know,
- 20:44Speaker 4: the individual success was never the goal.
- 20:46Speaker 5: The goal was always winning championship.
- 20:48Speaker 4: So year after year there's there could only be one winner,
- 20:52Speaker 4: and year after year, you know, I was a loser,
- 20:55Speaker 4: I was sick, came in second place, third place, fourth place,
- 20:59Speaker 4: never one, never would could consider myself a champion.
- 21:02Speaker 5: So to have an opportunity.
- 21:05Speaker 4: In my last season, in my last game, to win
- 21:09Speaker 4: a championship and actually do it, uh, it was special
- 21:14Speaker 4: because I could forever be associated with the Pittsburgh still, yes,
- 21:18Speaker 4: but also be a champion as well.
- 21:22Speaker 2: What an answer. I really appreciate you taking the time
- 21:25Speaker 2: to shout to this and thank you for taking the
- 21:26Speaker 2: time to come over here. I know you didn't get
- 21:28Speaker 2: in the bus like mak Starks and start throwing tiles
- 21:30Speaker 2: and with Mike goal, We've had a great day Edge room.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 21:34Speaker 5: One, no problem, It's been a magical week.
- 21:38Speaker 4: So I'm looking forward to uh A twenty seven one
- 21:42Speaker 4: win to Pittsburgh.
- 21:46Speaker 2: We heard from Jerome Battis Derom Germi Maugat. Thank you
- 21:48Speaker 2: for joining us on the Irish Theaters podcast. It's not
- 21:54Speaker 2: every day that you're on a bus on the road
- 21:56Speaker 2: from Nearly to Dublin, just popped near karting for direction
- 22:01Speaker 2: here and shopping to a two times Superbowl championing an
- 22:04Speaker 2: Ike teler Ike, You're very very welcome, not only this
- 22:06Speaker 2: podcast but to the Island of Ireland. This is your
- 22:08Speaker 2: first time here, first time on the island. How did
- 22:10Speaker 2: you find getting in and seeing the city over the
- 22:13Speaker 2: last are so and it's really special for this game,
- 22:16Speaker 2: it's all start up pretty well.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Yeah, it's been a hona. I compare the the island
- 22:23Speaker 6: of Ireland to the city of Pittsburgh.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Similar, isn't it.
- 22:27Speaker 6: Yeah, it has that kind of feel that that that
- 22:30Speaker 6: hard working, blue collar kind of city that very prideful,
- 22:35Speaker 6: you know Ireland, but yeah, I mean Pittsburgh is a
- 22:40Speaker 6: priud forul city for many reasons. Ireland is a powerful
- 22:43Speaker 6: country for many reasons. So it just feels like home,
- 22:47Speaker 6: but just in a in a in a different world
- 22:49Speaker 6: right now.
- 22:51Speaker 2: How do you feel ahead of this game in Dublin
- 22:53Speaker 2: because you had the chance to go up to Belfast
- 22:56Speaker 2: and NY today, I seen you coaching those kids flag football.
- 23:00Speaker 2: You impressed with the talent that you're seeing at the
- 23:01Speaker 2: gross first level here.
- 23:03Speaker 6: Yeah, that that's most of all, not only talent, it's
- 23:06Speaker 6: the talent of the young ladies who is actually out
- 23:09Speaker 6: there participating, you know. So that's what I was very
- 23:13Speaker 6: impressed with. But as far as like the introduction of football,
- 23:18Speaker 6: you know, flag football, that's what it presents without having
- 23:21Speaker 6: to put equipment on, you know, So just seeing some
- 23:24Speaker 6: some young guys. Of course we know football is a
- 23:27Speaker 6: is a is a is a male sport at the
- 23:29Speaker 6: professional level. I did see some talented young ladies out there,
- 23:33Speaker 6: but far as like from the males, they had some
- 23:36Speaker 6: males out there, very talented. From from what I see
- 23:38Speaker 6: coming from a scout perspective.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Well, I think anybody that was there today will take
- 23:42Speaker 2: dots a tick, that analysis and run for the hills
- 23:45Speaker 2: in a good way. And obviously you would have known
- 23:49Speaker 2: mister Rooney at your time with the team. We've just
- 23:51Speaker 2: come bax from of that neary where the Tenisians were
- 23:54Speaker 2: made with the Ireland funds and the theaters. How did
- 23:57Speaker 2: you find him whenever you were at the team and
- 23:59Speaker 2: on high asn't was he with the team whenever you
- 24:02Speaker 2: were there? A lot of how important was easy your
- 24:04Speaker 2: career I mimic.
- 24:06Speaker 6: I mimic my lifestyle after Paul Parony, you know, coming
- 24:11Speaker 6: up where I came from. Uh, when you got money,
- 24:15Speaker 6: you had to show it, you had to be flashy. Uh.
- 24:18Speaker 6: Paul Paroni was the total opposite, you know. So he
- 24:21Speaker 6: was he was a buick you know, buick less saber guy.
- 24:25Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying. He had a he had
- 24:27Speaker 6: a tan buick. It's just certain things you don't do
- 24:31Speaker 6: in the city of Pittsburgh. And I truly believe it
- 24:33Speaker 6: came from the Rooney family, Like just because you got it,
- 24:37Speaker 6: you don't show it. And I can kind of see
- 24:40Speaker 6: that over here in Ireland. What we're gonna do, We're
- 24:44Speaker 6: gonna work hard, we're gonna establish ourselves, We're gonna treat
- 24:47Speaker 6: people right, and even if you do have it, you
- 24:49Speaker 6: don't show that you have it, you know. So Uh,
- 24:53Speaker 6: that's that's what I learned from from Paul Paroni. That
- 24:56Speaker 6: was that was that was one of the things I
- 24:58Speaker 6: mimicked off. And it was also like giving back to
- 25:01Speaker 6: the community. As you can see, uh the world, we're
- 25:04Speaker 6: moving up and down the country of island. He even
- 25:08Speaker 6: though he loved the city of Pittsburgh, even though he
- 25:11Speaker 6: was very successful as an owner. Yeah, his passion always
- 25:15Speaker 6: been giving back to his country.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Good to hear from those guys. So we've got Mox,
- 25:21Speaker 2: We've got Dreoman, we got Ike on this podcast. Max,
- 25:23Speaker 2: those guys a good crack. I know you ended up
- 25:25Speaker 2: going down towards Dublin at that point. Did it hit
- 25:28Speaker 2: you when you were heading in the Dublin for people
- 25:30Speaker 2: wonder hadn't done the Ballfoster traction down the m one
- 25:33Speaker 2: Port tunnel appears, and does it start to hitch you down?
- 25:35Speaker 2: Like here we go? This is it now?
- 25:37Speaker 3: Like that?
- 25:37Speaker 2: I think at that point we're two games away or two,
- 25:39Speaker 2: two or three days away from.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah we are. It was Thursday, so yeah, two
- 25:43Speaker 3: days away before game day. And when you when you
- 25:46Speaker 3: start to go in, I mean you're like, man, okay,
- 25:49Speaker 3: this is getting real, Like we're we're closing down Like
- 25:52Speaker 3: there we're now, you know, under triple digit hours before
- 25:56Speaker 3: game time. And when you drive in to the city.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Mind you. Last time I saw the city was on
- 26:01Speaker 3: a Monday, so normal work day, A couple of people
- 26:05Speaker 3: walking around the streets. I get back there Thursday afternoon
- 26:10Speaker 3: and it is jam packed, wall to wall traffic. People
- 26:14Speaker 3: on the streets, the crosswalks are busy, people are confused,
- 26:18Speaker 3: they got their phones out doing all kinds of crazy
- 26:20Speaker 3: stuff trying to find directions. And the hotel was packed
- 26:25Speaker 3: when I got there, and it was a you felt
- 26:28Speaker 3: the frenzy of like a Steeler's home game weekend with
- 26:31Speaker 3: the amount of people, and I did not. I don't
- 26:33Speaker 3: know if you had this. I did not see a
- 26:35Speaker 3: single Vikings fan until game day. It felt like like
- 26:37Speaker 3: I saw a couple, like maybe I could literally count
- 26:40Speaker 3: like seven on my hand that I saw throughout my
- 26:43Speaker 3: travels and hundreds of Steelers fans. But then I got
- 26:46Speaker 3: to Doublin, I'm like, oh, there'll be more. They have
- 26:48Speaker 3: a bar and this Nope. I did not see them
- 26:51Speaker 3: till Sunday morning when I was walking to Croke Park
- 26:54Speaker 3: to get into the stadium get wanded. That's where I'm like, oh,
- 26:57Speaker 3: this is the what rock? Did you guys climb from
- 26:59Speaker 3: under the blarney stone? I was like, yeah, get nowhere.
- 27:02Speaker 3: I'm like, and then when you get in the stadium,
- 27:04Speaker 3: you realize, now, I ain't that many of y'all. Because
- 27:06Speaker 3: the Steelers bought all the hotels and all the tickets
- 27:08Speaker 3: to this game.
- 27:10Speaker 2: It definitely surprised me and I seen I went into
- 27:15Speaker 2: the Vikings Park just to see the crack earlier on
- 27:17Speaker 2: in the week there was a decent chunk of the
- 27:19Speaker 2: with at different parts in the city. Obviously great to
- 27:21Speaker 2: see so many teams come in different colors. And you
- 27:24Speaker 2: sound like a man that was in Physigmons a lot
- 27:26Speaker 2: with all those staters fans. Man, you do you do?
- 27:28Speaker 2: You do? I feel like we talk about this game forever.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I will say this before we're going to very quickly
- 27:32Speaker 2: talk about this Browns game this weekend, just in the second,
- 27:34Speaker 2: but I will say this, it feels like, even though
- 27:37Speaker 2: you've done a full tour here, I feel like you
- 27:39Speaker 2: can do so much. I mean, you said the Blarney stone.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I think you kiss the blarney still next time, go up,
- 27:43Speaker 2: go around different places off Loan, maybe different parts of
- 27:46Speaker 2: the North as well. Doney gall properly as well, have
- 27:49Speaker 2: gone proper. We can definitely run it back.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely want to. I definitely want to go
- 27:53Speaker 3: into Donegall properly and I want to go to I
- 27:56Speaker 3: gotta go to Cork. I know a lot of people, no,
- 27:59Speaker 3: don't go to I'm like, I gotta go to Cork.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You have to.
- 28:01Speaker 2: That's where the Cork is some full of some of
- 28:04Speaker 2: the best nflfhons and like genuinely the good people. The
- 28:08Speaker 2: city's great as well.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I just try fish but not yes, so I got
- 28:12Speaker 3: to try it in Cork, you know, because I have
- 28:15Speaker 3: to do a proper analysis, right, I mean, this is
- 28:18Speaker 3: about being thorough in the analysis here, Mick. You know
- 28:21Speaker 3: you can't. You can't. You have to go side. I
- 28:23Speaker 3: did a side by side. But I'm like, I feel
- 28:25Speaker 3: like the brew is going to be a little bit
- 28:27Speaker 3: more special when you when you pour it in Cork,
- 28:30Speaker 3: just like when you pour a Guinness in Dublin. Like
- 28:32Speaker 3: it just it hits different.
- 28:33Speaker 2: On the Taste Buds, hard hitting analysis on this Irish
- 28:39Speaker 2: Hitters podcast this week present of Aerlingus, and we're gonna
- 28:41Speaker 2: talk about a game of just a second. Max is
- 28:43Speaker 2: just off like myself watching coach Tomlin talk in this
- 28:46Speaker 2: pre game press conference this week let's hear what he
- 28:48Speaker 2: had to say a little bit on this podcast.
- 28:51Speaker 7: Certainly was a good bye week for us on a
- 28:54Speaker 7: lot of fronts. First and foremost, from a health standpoint,
- 29:00Speaker 7: feel really encouraged about the return of some people who've
- 29:03Speaker 7: been out. Guys like Alex high Smith and Joey Porter Junior,
- 29:08Speaker 7: for example, worked yesterday on our bonus day and the
- 29:12Speaker 7: arrows pointed up on their participation, but we'll follow them
- 29:16Speaker 7: throughout the week to make sure he continues to move
- 29:19Speaker 7: in the appropriate direction. I think the same thing could
- 29:22Speaker 7: be said for Jalen Warren. Obviously he missed the last game,
- 29:26Speaker 7: but looked really good yesterday, and so excited about those guys.
- 29:31Speaker 7: Two guys that were watching very closely that certainly are
- 29:35Speaker 7: gonna be limited at the front part of the week,
- 29:37Speaker 7: but may perk up and be included toward the latter
- 29:40Speaker 7: part of the week is Calvin Austin with his shoulder
- 29:44Speaker 7: and Jalen Ramsey with his hamstring. Both have been highly
- 29:48Speaker 7: aggressive from a rehabilitation standpoint during the bye week, and
- 29:51Speaker 7: so really encouraged about the potential of those guys, but
- 29:54Speaker 7: we'll take it certainly day to day. The bye week
- 29:59Speaker 7: is also an opportun unity for us to sit back
- 30:02Speaker 7: and take a look at some of the things that
- 30:03Speaker 7: we've done schematically, adapt adaptations we've made the circumstance, whether
- 30:10Speaker 7: it's matchup related or player availability related. To look at
- 30:14Speaker 7: the overall trajectory of our of our units offensively defensively,
- 30:19Speaker 7: of special teams relative to our vision. Also to look
- 30:22Speaker 7: around and look at some of the things that are
- 30:24Speaker 7: trending in the game, how people are producing or presenting
- 30:28Speaker 7: preventing big plays, whether it's run or pass, the turnover game,
- 30:33Speaker 7: gadget plays, et cetera, possession down play, fourth down appetites.
- 30:40Speaker 7: We looked at a lot of things going on globally,
- 30:43Speaker 7: and I think oftentimes you do that, but I think
- 30:46Speaker 7: that's one of the advantages of maybe having an early
- 30:48Speaker 7: buy just to get a sample size of how the
- 30:51Speaker 7: ball is being rolled out globally in twenty twenty five
- 30:55Speaker 7: at the early stages of it, and we did some
- 30:57Speaker 7: of that. It was a good experience for us, but
- 30:59Speaker 7: it's all so really good to get back into the
- 31:03Speaker 7: to the world of competition.
- 31:05Speaker 3: This week.
- 31:05Speaker 7: We had a really good bonus day yesterday, putting an
- 31:08Speaker 7: emphasis on physical conditioning and and running and playing football
- 31:13Speaker 7: that way as we get back and warn back up
- 31:16Speaker 7: to it and so excited about continuing that during the week.
- 31:19Speaker 7: I can't say enough about what what I'm seeing from Judkins.
- 31:24Speaker 7: You know, this guy is played in four games, he
- 31:26Speaker 7: started three. He had absolutely no training camp to speak of,
- 31:31Speaker 7: and that really highlights what it is that we're looking at.
- 31:34Speaker 7: Kudos to him and kudos to them for what he
- 31:38Speaker 7: and they are able to produce. He's a tough runner,
- 31:41Speaker 7: He's good inside, He's got good patience and picking vision
- 31:45Speaker 7: on interior running. He finished off, finishes off his runs
- 31:48Speaker 7: with violence. He's underrated in terms of his ability to
- 31:53Speaker 7: bounce it to the perimeter and pop long ones. He
- 31:56Speaker 7: had sixty yard or so.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Uh.
- 31:59Speaker 7: He got called back in London last week. That kind
- 32:01Speaker 7: of highlights that I've seen this guy a lot. Obviously,
- 32:05Speaker 7: we got a couple of his teammates from O State
- 32:08Speaker 7: and so I've seen a lot of his video. Man,
- 32:10Speaker 7: he is a complete back. He's the type of guy
- 32:13Speaker 7: that can wear a defensive unit down. Certainly fits their mold.
- 32:19Speaker 7: There's an awesome replacement, if you will, for for Nick Chubb,
- 32:23Speaker 7: and I think it's gonna do nothing but get get better.
- 32:26Speaker 7: With him and them.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Good to hear from coach Tomlin on before we leap
- 32:30Speaker 2: Max Starks go, expect to call you Max Steelers there.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I've got that much Steeters in my briand Max at
- 32:35Speaker 2: the minute, and like it's hard to believe last time
- 32:40Speaker 2: this team played, wasn't Dublin get the bye week?
- 32:42Speaker 3: Come in?
- 32:43Speaker 2: Just shattery your faults. I obviously we both know the
- 32:46Speaker 2: Browns have to go to London. Played too bod To
- 32:49Speaker 2: be fair to them, Jokings look superb like I have
- 32:52Speaker 2: to have to hold mountains up here, but they obviously
- 32:54Speaker 2: have a shorter week.
- 32:54Speaker 3: They have to fly back.
- 32:56Speaker 2: This is a Steelers team that he's doing quite well
- 32:58Speaker 2: in this division at the minute in regard to the injuries.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Alber teams has home game and Akrasher first time in
- 33:04Speaker 2: a few weeks. This like, look, any game in the
- 33:07Speaker 2: AFC North is a must win game. This is a
- 33:08Speaker 2: must win game surely this week. What's your futs generating
- 33:11Speaker 2: this game?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Well, I think one of the biggest things Mick that
- 33:14Speaker 3: I look at is you've got to get a victory
- 33:17Speaker 3: at home. All the victories that we've been masked so far.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Now I know Dublin counts as a home game. We
- 33:22Speaker 3: forfeited a home game for that, but we haven't won
- 33:25Speaker 3: in Afrasher yet this season, so that's that's that's rule
- 33:28Speaker 3: number one. Number two, you have not played a division
- 33:31Speaker 3: game yet. Everybody else has already played division games in
- 33:33Speaker 3: your division, So now this is your first shot at
- 33:36Speaker 3: actually working on division dominance. So you've got to put
- 33:40Speaker 3: your best fot forward.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Now.
- 33:41Speaker 3: The one thing we heard from coach Tomlin in that
- 33:43Speaker 3: press conference was arrow pointing up for twenty four and
- 33:46Speaker 3: fifty six. That would be Joey Porter Junior and Alex
- 33:49Speaker 3: high Smith who did not play two weeks ago in Dublin,
- 33:52Speaker 3: who've been injured, you know, for majority of this season,
- 33:56Speaker 3: especially with Joey. Joey got injured in the Jets game
- 33:58Speaker 3: and Alex got injured in the Seahawks game, So we
- 34:02Speaker 3: haven't seen those guys in a number of weeks. So
- 34:05Speaker 3: we've been tested on the depth of this team. So
- 34:09Speaker 3: seeing how your front line comes back and that depth
- 34:12Speaker 3: starts to replenish itself is going to be key. But
- 34:15Speaker 3: like you said, Browns are off changed, Dylan Gabriels. Now
- 34:18Speaker 3: you're starting quarterback no more Joe Flacco and you know,
- 34:21Speaker 3: and they're losing ways. And I thought Dylan Gabriel actually
- 34:23Speaker 3: did a really good job in the game of distributing
- 34:25Speaker 3: the football. They just couldn't come up with points.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Like you said, first first ever quarterback to start internationally,
- 34:30Speaker 2: never mind rookie, first ever to have a start overseas
- 34:34Speaker 2: done well for something under a lot of pressure. They
- 34:36Speaker 2: have flats and obviously it's gonna be on the defense stuff.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and Harrold Fannin as well is another one that's
- 34:42Speaker 3: i mean, another rookie. So you got a lot of
- 34:44Speaker 3: youth on that offense side. And then the defensively, I
- 34:47Speaker 3: mean Miles Garrett, Mason Graham, I mean Denzel Ward. They
- 34:50Speaker 3: got a lot of known guys. They are very tough defense,
- 34:53Speaker 3: but they just haven't been able to pull it all
- 34:55Speaker 3: together as a team. So we're gonna have our work
- 34:57Speaker 3: cut out for us this week against Cleveland. And it's
- 34:59Speaker 3: also it's always a KG match we never play, you know,
- 35:03Speaker 3: even regardless of where the records are. It's always a
- 35:06Speaker 3: tough out. Both these teams know each other so well,
- 35:09Speaker 3: and it's going to be a physical fistfight.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Look, anytime it's AFC nor if it's it's a different
- 35:15Speaker 2: ballgame in a good way. It's going to hopefully be
- 35:17Speaker 2: fun to watch and hopefully the Seeders get the win.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Just before we get your protection, before we wrap up here.
- 35:22Speaker 2: For people listening to NFL on the Zone in Europe,
- 35:25Speaker 2: in Ireland and on a OTB Sports radio, if you
- 35:28Speaker 2: want to listen to, maybe Max make the call. Who knows,
- 35:32Speaker 2: we'll see Mix give us a game pick for this game.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna say theeter has been twenty fleet seventeen and
- 35:36Speaker 2: the Type one just for the crack, but they still
- 35:39Speaker 2: the Yeah, you know.
- 35:40Speaker 3: What, I'm right there with you. I'm thinking that this
- 35:43Speaker 3: is going to be a twenty four to seventeen. I'm
- 35:49Speaker 3: gonna go a little bit higher. I think they get
- 35:52Speaker 3: three ties. I think DK will get another score, and
- 35:54Speaker 3: I think the game we'll get it to the end
- 35:56Speaker 3: zone and this one. Then there will be a surprise somewhere,
- 35:58Speaker 3: maybe another Bevin Scaronic touch, who knows, but I feel
- 36:02Speaker 3: like it's going to be one of those. It's going
- 36:03Speaker 3: to be a one possession again.
- 36:06Speaker 2: It's funny we went twenty three minutes while talking about
- 36:09Speaker 2: Kenny Gamewell on this record, Max, but we've done it
- 36:11Speaker 2: there now, good man here, You're welcome back over here anytime.
- 36:14Speaker 2: I will see you in week eight for the Packers game.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I'll certainly shake your hand and thank you for what
- 36:22Speaker 2: you've done, because you've done an awful lot there for
- 36:23Speaker 2: a lot of people, not just Steelers fans here over
- 36:26Speaker 2: the last few weeks, and I'll try and have a
- 36:28Speaker 2: terrible tile off you before we do that as well.
- 36:30Speaker 2: But Max Germy Loggat, thanks so much for coming on, sir.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I appreciate it.
- 36:34Speaker 3: No my pleasure anytime.
