Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, guys, this is Teddy Mellencamp and I'm joined by
- 0:04Speaker 1: my friend Emily Simpson for our new spin off show
- 0:08Speaker 1: Popping Off, where we are digging deep on this season
- 0:11Speaker 1: of vander Pump Rules. So me and Tamra will continue
- 0:16Speaker 1: focusing on pissing off housewives, but don't you worry. Currently
- 0:20Speaker 1: now myself and Emily will focus on vander Pump Rules.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So we will be doing all the deep dives and
- 0:27Speaker 1: then we'll see what's next. Yes, you see what's next next,
- 0:34Speaker 1: because we'll be covering every little detail. And I texted
- 0:38Speaker 1: to Emily this morning and I said, good thing, you're
- 0:40Speaker 1: a lawyer.
- 0:41Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if it's a good thing.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Sometimes I feel like it gets me in more trouble
- 0:45Speaker 3: because I say even more, oh.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Because you actually like have the wherewithal on what you're
- 0:50Speaker 1: allowed to say, where I'm just worried all of the time.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Yeah, well yeah, but sometimes I forget my lawyer. I
- 0:57Speaker 3: guess that was my point.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Oh you mean you're not What is it that I
- 1:01Speaker 1: almost said, like a what is it?
- 1:02Speaker 2: A mallet? What a judge? A gavel? A gavel hammer?
- 1:10Speaker 2: You don't have a or no, but I have a
- 1:14Speaker 2: gabble somewhere. I'm gonna find it for our next one. Oh,
- 1:16Speaker 2: can you do me a favor?
- 1:17Speaker 1: And you don't have a pink plastic wall behind you?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yeah? Can you just put up your law degree in
- 1:25Speaker 2: the little Yeah, I'll hang it. I'll hang it right here.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Insert law degree right yew. That gives us a lot
- 1:31Speaker 2: of cred Well, I have a lot.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I have a Utah license and a California license and
- 1:37Speaker 3: a law degree.
- 1:38Speaker 2: So there's three certificates. So I'll just hang them all around.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Okay, perfect? And then can you wear maybe like a blazer,
- 1:48Speaker 3: a blazer or something.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Can you please put on something slightly more formal and
- 1:55Speaker 1: something you would wear to court? And then I want
- 1:57Speaker 1: you to always seem like slightly stressed on your pen. Okay, okay, right,
- 2:03Speaker 1: that's pretty much where we stand. And we had just
- 2:06Speaker 1: gotten back from our live show in San fran where
- 2:12Speaker 1: I feel like so much went down and we had
- 2:15Speaker 1: such a good time. I feel like we're ready. We're
- 2:17Speaker 1: ready to start this pod.
- 2:19Speaker 2: We're ready, we are fired up and ready.
- 2:21Speaker 1: First couple questions are how long ago did you start
- 2:25Speaker 1: watching vander Pump Rules last night?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Last night? Okay, I have to tell you.
- 2:32Speaker 3: First of all, I went to Peacock and I found
- 2:34Speaker 3: vander Pump Rules and there's some like hour long special
- 2:38Speaker 3: on there that's just a recap of all the relationships
- 2:41Speaker 3: and Lisa vander Pump is narrating it.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So I watched that.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I feel like they made it for me, specifically, like
- 2:47Speaker 3: we have to give Emily a little like quick background,
- 2:51Speaker 3: and I'm telling you, I was like, I was going
- 2:53Speaker 3: to make this a whiteboard behind me and draw all
- 2:57Speaker 3: the different relationships with like arrows.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I feel like I needed a flow chart.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I feel like everybody has had sex with everybody at
- 3:04Speaker 1: one point or another on the.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Show, guilty by association if not.
- 3:10Speaker 1: But we already have some Vandon Pump Rules headlines because
- 3:14Speaker 1: the Nick Vaiel podcast just dropped with the Toms, and
- 3:17Speaker 1: we just saw the Cosmopolitan article with Laala Kent. But
- 3:20Speaker 1: before we even get to that, since you're a new watcher,
- 3:23Speaker 1: you watch the reunion, you watch the premiere, and you
- 3:26Speaker 1: watch this Lisa vander Pump special on the relationships. Who
- 3:31Speaker 1: do you think you relate to the most from Vandon
- 3:34Speaker 1: Pump Rules.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I would have to say Lala. I don't know. I
- 3:39Speaker 2: like Lala.
- 3:40Speaker 3: I find her to be reasonable yet insane at the
- 3:42Speaker 3: same time, which I.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Really I feel like I'm like that too.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Like I can be I can put the reasonable attorney
- 3:48Speaker 3: hat on, but then if you really piss me off,
- 3:50Speaker 3: I'm knucking futs.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So I just I get her.
- 3:55Speaker 3: And then when she was talking about like with her
- 3:57Speaker 3: mom on the couch, I don't know, I just like her.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I to her, Yeah, And then which guy would you
- 4:03Speaker 1: have sex with?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Oh my god?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Do they all not have some kind of venereal disease?
- 4:08Speaker 3: At this point I would say none, But well, I fine,
- 4:14Speaker 3: who do you.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Find the most appealing of the men?
- 4:18Speaker 3: I guess James Kennedy because I find him. I just
- 4:21Speaker 3: think it's funny. I like humor.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I know you just about you about fell out of
- 4:25Speaker 2: your chair. You're okay.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I had to protect myself from this flimsy background. Okay,
- 4:32Speaker 1: let's start off with the Cosmopolitan article. I'm actually seeing
- 4:37Speaker 1: Laala on Monday, so and I didn't know any of this.
- 4:40Speaker 2: This is pretty incredible, Okay.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Reality star shares that she decided to go with ee
- 4:45Speaker 3: Ui because she wanted to take control of her situation. Quote,
- 4:49Speaker 3: I will not gamble on me having my child she says,
- 4:53Speaker 3: And I just don't think that finding a partner and
- 4:55Speaker 3: falling in love with someone has anything to do with
- 4:57Speaker 3: bringing a.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Child into the world.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Now, Kent's the biggest piece of advice for other women
- 5:01Speaker 3: is to bet on themselves.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Quote.
- 5:03Speaker 3: If you want children, are and are only waiting for
- 5:06Speaker 3: that person to come into your life, Let's talk about
- 5:08Speaker 3: a different route that we can take.
- 5:10Speaker 2: It's twenty twenty four.
- 5:11Speaker 3: There are many ways to have a baby, and you
- 5:13Speaker 3: don't need a man to do it, she says, end quote.
- 5:16Speaker 1: So essentially she is going to have another baby. Yeah,
- 5:19Speaker 1: I can argue both sides.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I guess It's like, on one hand, I'm like, yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 3: women power, we should be able to do whatever we want.
- 5:26Speaker 3: If she wants to have another child, I think that's amazing.
- 5:31Speaker 3: But then on the other hand, I know how helpful
- 5:33Speaker 3: my husband is in my life as someone who adds
- 5:39Speaker 3: to my children and their lives, and how his perspective
- 5:43Speaker 3: as a father and a role model is important.
- 5:47Speaker 2: So you know, I don't know. I just see both sides.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I see how a father and a mother together raising
- 5:54Speaker 3: a child is very beneficial. But I also think, you know,
- 5:56Speaker 3: single women do a great job of raising children too,
- 6:00Speaker 3: And I think.
- 6:00Speaker 1: We have to be a realistic that a lot of
- 6:02Speaker 1: the time, whether you're married to a man, woman, have
- 6:05Speaker 1: a partner, there's most of the time primarily one parent.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, is the one that is leading, right.
- 6:13Speaker 3: And I do think my relationship with Shane is an
- 6:16Speaker 3: exception to the rule, because I will say most of
- 6:18Speaker 3: my friends and their husbands and their relationships and their partners,
- 6:22Speaker 3: they aren't an equal partner with the children.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Like Shane is. He does a lot yea. So I
- 6:28Speaker 2: think that's an exception.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And I think if you've gone into a situation like
- 6:32Speaker 1: La Laws where clearly you know what happened with Randall,
- 6:37Speaker 1: she is now in a place where she wants Ocean,
- 6:40Speaker 1: I'm guessing wants Ocean to have a sibling close in age,
- 6:44Speaker 1: and she doesn't want to search and find a man.
- 6:47Speaker 1: That's probably not appropriate because she just wants to have
- 6:50Speaker 1: another baby right away.
- 6:52Speaker 3: That's a very thought out, logical, reasonable choice, and also
- 6:55Speaker 3: wanting the sibling sibling. I tell you I have three kids,
- 6:58Speaker 3: and the best thing that can ever happen is to
- 7:01Speaker 3: see your siblings care for each other and play together
- 7:04Speaker 3: and love each other and support each other. So I
- 7:06Speaker 3: get that, and she's probably thinking Ocean's getting older, So
- 7:09Speaker 3: you know.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I got to get on this right away.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And I also think she shared in this episode that
- 7:15Speaker 1: she has a big support system at this point. Her
- 7:18Speaker 1: mom has come in to live with her, she has
- 7:20Speaker 1: her brother that lives in the same complex. They're all
- 7:24Speaker 1: raising Ocean together, and she's in a place in her
- 7:27Speaker 1: life where she wants to be able to carry her
- 7:30Speaker 1: next child. And why rush into getting into another Randall
- 7:35Speaker 1: Emmett situation. I think kudos to her and appreciate her
- 7:40Speaker 1: for sharing in advance. I think so oftentimes on reality
- 7:43Speaker 1: television shows, people wait until after its way past the fact.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And then then share and then in the way.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I think sharing in advance is it's a huge
- 7:54Speaker 1: deal and shows that what a good mother she is
- 7:58Speaker 1: and that she wants to do the best by Ocean,
- 8:01Speaker 1: And so I think that this is exciting. But then
- 8:05Speaker 1: I also then my other part of me in my
- 8:07Speaker 1: head is like, oh my gosh, is this gonna be
- 8:10Speaker 1: hard though, because how are you gonna show one child
- 8:14Speaker 1: on a reality television show and not the other? Because
- 8:17Speaker 1: we yeah, you know, I remember how hard it was
- 8:19Speaker 1: for us when we weren't allowed to show Bella.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Well, I'm I'm in the same situation. I can show
- 8:26Speaker 3: I mean, we're filming right now, and I can show
- 8:28Speaker 3: my three children with Shane, but then you know, my
- 8:30Speaker 3: older daughter or stepdaughter, Schnelle, lives with us full time.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Her mom won't sign off, So then what happens. It's
- 8:37Speaker 3: awkward and I feel badly for her because then when
- 8:39Speaker 3: the crew comes to film, like I have to say,
- 8:42Speaker 3: I'm sorry, you know, we can't show you. And she understands.
- 8:45Speaker 3: She's very intelligent, so she gets it. But how difficult
- 8:48Speaker 3: is that to be like, Okay, you three can film
- 8:50Speaker 3: and be a part, but you can't film.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It's it's really difficult.
- 8:54Speaker 1: And plus, at a young age, you don't necessarily know
- 8:57Speaker 1: what it is that you want or like in regards
- 9:00Speaker 1: to even social media all of it, Like you think
- 9:03Speaker 1: like as I'm like, oh, I would never want so
- 9:05Speaker 1: and so to feel.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Left out or this, or that they.
- 9:08Speaker 1: May think I don't want anything to do with this,
- 9:10Speaker 1: or and ten years from now when their siblings are
- 9:13Speaker 1: talking about how they're all on this show and people
- 9:15Speaker 1: are going, well, how come you weren't on it? Right?
- 9:17Speaker 1: It just opens a whole that's the trouble with reality TV. Yeah,
- 9:20Speaker 1: there's always going to be pros and cons.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Right, I mean I guess, I guess the best scenario
- 9:25Speaker 3: is her mom's signs and then she's seventeen, so she
- 9:28Speaker 3: decides whether she wants to or not. Then ultimately it
- 9:31Speaker 3: was her decision as opposed to, oh hey can you
- 9:34Speaker 3: can you not be in the room right now? I
- 9:37Speaker 3: mean I hate that, you know, because it's not reflective
- 9:40Speaker 3: of how our actual home and family is. She lives
- 9:43Speaker 3: with us full time, she's here one hundred percent of
- 9:45Speaker 3: the time.
- 9:45Speaker 2: So yeah, and I would have never known that. Yeah,
- 9:48Speaker 2: most people don't.
- 9:49Speaker 3: They still ask me when I post something on Instagram,
- 9:51Speaker 3: they're like, who are the two older girls? Because, you know,
- 9:54Speaker 3: because it's been such a you know, tumultuous relationship.
- 9:59Speaker 1: So that's where social media can also be brutal because
- 10:02Speaker 1: without us having these types of conversations, then social media
- 10:06Speaker 1: will come on and say, oh my gosh, well why
- 10:08Speaker 1: aren't you like, are is it because this is she's
- 10:11Speaker 1: your stepdaughter? Because of the like, No, clearly there is
- 10:15Speaker 1: more to it, and there's love that goes around. And
- 10:18Speaker 1: either way we're off topic is as we will because
- 10:20Speaker 1: we're gonna pop off on whatever it is we feel
- 10:23Speaker 1: like popping off on. But I'm excited for Lalla and
- 10:25Speaker 1: I can't wait to hear more. Okay, this next one.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Ariano Maddox forced to stay in home with Tom Sandoval
- 10:42Speaker 1: for another four months. The New York Post article says
- 10:45Speaker 1: Matt X thirty eight is facing at least four more
- 10:48Speaker 1: months under the same roof as Sandoval thanks to a
- 10:51Speaker 1: legal tangle over the Los Angeles property they purchased together
- 10:55Speaker 1: in two thousand and nine for two point seven million.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Earlier this month, she followed the lawsuit in La Superior
- 11:00Speaker 1: Court seeking the sale of the house and an equitable
- 11:03Speaker 1: division of the proceeds. Records obtained by the Post show
- 11:06Speaker 1: the reality television star is pushing for a partition by sale.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It's essentially it's not even scheduled until June third, leaving
- 11:14Speaker 1: Maddox and Limbo until then.
- 11:16Speaker 2: This is my question for you, Okay.
- 11:17Speaker 1: If you and Shane were to get break up tomorrow, yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and you had the financial capability to get another place,
- 11:27Speaker 1: and or you didn't have the financial capability to buy
- 11:29Speaker 1: him out, and he wanted to stay there, would you care?
- 11:34Speaker 2: Well, he'd have to buy me out right right. But
- 11:36Speaker 2: that's my point.
- 11:37Speaker 1: If he bought you out, would you care if he
- 11:39Speaker 1: still lived in your home? No?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Honestly, if this is why, I don't understand why either
- 11:44Speaker 3: one of them want to stay in this house. As
- 11:45Speaker 3: far as I'm concerned, there's a lot of bad memories there.
- 11:48Speaker 3: I mean, why don't you just both want to get
- 11:50Speaker 3: out and just have a clean slate. Honestly, I think
- 11:53Speaker 3: Tom's being a complete dick Like I feel like this
- 11:55Speaker 3: is just a dick a move on his part, because
- 11:58Speaker 3: why are you spending all this money to pay for
- 11:59Speaker 3: a time hernies, to file all this paperwork, go to court,
- 12:03Speaker 3: pay for a hearing which is going to take all
- 12:05Speaker 3: day long in La County Court, and the judge is
- 12:07Speaker 3: going to order that you sell the house and divide
- 12:09Speaker 3: it because there's really no other solution unless he does
- 12:12Speaker 3: buy her out.
- 12:14Speaker 2: So I don't understand, But this is my question.
- 12:17Speaker 1: What we see in the episode is her saying that
- 12:20Speaker 1: he wants to buy her out, and she would never
- 12:22Speaker 1: want that because she would never want another girl being
- 12:25Speaker 1: in the home they bought together. I personally don't have that.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I don't either.
- 12:30Speaker 1: If somebody wants to give me money, and I can
- 12:32Speaker 1: go do something with it and be out of a
- 12:34Speaker 1: toxic situation. I don't want to communicate with Anna the
- 12:38Speaker 1: assistant on when I can come and go, Like, you
- 12:41Speaker 1: have all these great things going on. Who gives a
- 12:43Speaker 1: f who he f's in that house that you guys
- 12:45Speaker 1: bought together.
- 12:45Speaker 3: That was clearly well he was clearly effing people in
- 12:48Speaker 3: that house anyway, So like it's no different.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I just I'm like, listen, you have so many
- 12:54Speaker 1: good things going on in your life. If he's willing
- 12:57Speaker 1: to buy you out, get out, let him make a
- 12:59Speaker 1: mess of whatever next situation he's going to go into.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they're honestly, they're wasting a lot of
- 13:04Speaker 3: time on attorneys, and they're spending a lot of money.
- 13:07Speaker 3: I feel like this is an easy solution. Either sell
- 13:10Speaker 3: the house, divide the equity, or he writes her a check.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I don't know, does he have the money to buy
- 13:15Speaker 3: her out? I mean, I'm sure he'd have to go
- 13:16Speaker 3: get alone. And she's say no, she's saying I will
- 13:19Speaker 3: not do it. So that's she doesn't want him living there.
- 13:22Speaker 3: She doesn't want either of them living there. Well, then
- 13:25Speaker 3: see they're both being ridiculous. Because they're both in a
- 13:27Speaker 3: stalemate and they're both wasting time because I mean, he
- 13:30Speaker 3: could just they could either agree to just find a
- 13:32Speaker 3: real estate agent, get a you know, appraisal, put it
- 13:35Speaker 3: on the market, divide the assets.
- 13:36Speaker 2: The house is worth more now.
- 13:37Speaker 3: They bought it for point no two point oh seven,
- 13:40Speaker 3: it's worth like three now. So I mean you're gonna
- 13:43Speaker 3: you're both gonna walk away with a chunk of change.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's what ends up happening when there hasn't
- 13:48Speaker 1: been true accountability or healing in a breakup situation. You
- 13:53Speaker 1: just want to stick it to the other person, which
- 13:55Speaker 1: is what we see repeatedly over on Miami with Lenny
- 13:58Speaker 1: Hawk's side, like that is so clearly done, but there's
- 14:01Speaker 1: just still fighting over things that are unnecessary to fight about.
- 14:04Speaker 1: These next headlines are pretty brutal as well. You want
- 14:09Speaker 1: to take the christen a duty.
- 14:11Speaker 3: During an appearance at a live taping of the No
- 14:13Speaker 3: Filter with Zach Peter podcast in November twenty twenty three,
- 14:17Speaker 3: Shawls of Sunset star Gigi defended la Lasax Randall while
- 14:21Speaker 3: sitting next to Kristen Lalla got pissed that Kristin did
- 14:26Speaker 3: not stick off for her. When asked about Kristin on
- 14:28Speaker 3: an Amazon Live this month, Laala responded, quote, I don't
- 14:32Speaker 3: know who that is. So no, La La said, quote no,
- 14:36Speaker 3: does she still have a podcast?
- 14:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Kristin then took to her podcast this week, saying quote,
- 14:42Speaker 3: I have been sitting on this because Laala is my friend,
- 14:45Speaker 3: or I guess was my friend, because according to her
- 14:47Speaker 3: in this moment, she doesn't know who I am.
- 14:50Speaker 2: End quote.
- 14:51Speaker 3: She went on to say, quote, I didn't feel like
- 14:53Speaker 3: it was my fight to fight because I thought it
- 14:55Speaker 3: was so mundane and so stupid. Who cares what this
- 14:58Speaker 3: chick has to say? Meaning Shaw's Gigi. Kristin finished with
- 15:03Speaker 3: La La, you know I love you. I think you
- 15:05Speaker 3: handled this like shit. I'm not happy about the way
- 15:08Speaker 3: you are effing talking about me or my podcast because.
- 15:11Speaker 2: It's just so petty. However, you weren't there to fight
- 15:14Speaker 2: in the room for yourself. I should have said some things.
- 15:17Speaker 3: She concluded, quote, I understand why your feelings were hurt.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Next time, just come to me and say, hey, my
- 15:23Speaker 3: feelings were hurt. Don't blast it on the internet that
- 15:26Speaker 3: you don't know who I am.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Calm down. End quote.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Kristin has confirmed some of what Rachel levis accusations regarding
- 15:34Speaker 1: James Kennedy. Levis alleged that Duty was a cast member
- 15:39Speaker 1: on Bravo's news series as a way to stop Duty
- 15:42Speaker 1: from speaking out against their mutual ex James Kennedy. Levis
- 15:45Speaker 1: is quoted saying Bethany Frankel's podcast, Kristin was just starting
- 15:49Speaker 1: to talk about her tumultuous relationship with James and what
- 15:52Speaker 1: happened behind closed doors. Then all of a sudden, she
- 15:55Speaker 1: was presented with this spinoff. I believe it was way
- 15:58Speaker 1: to silence her. I've seen be a violent person, so
- 16:01Speaker 1: I have no doubt what she's saying is true. I
- 16:03Speaker 1: hope that one day it will come to light and
- 16:05Speaker 1: there will be justice. Kristin responds saying, I have not
- 16:09Speaker 1: listened to Bethany's podcast with Rachel.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I saw a TikTok that had a clip.
- 16:13Speaker 1: That had my name in it, so it is what
- 16:15Speaker 1: I was responding to, and now I'm hearing all sorts
- 16:17Speaker 1: of things that are also said that I have no
- 16:19Speaker 1: idea about.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I agree with what Rachel says about you know who.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I think I've made my feelings very clear, but also
- 16:26Speaker 1: you guys for realsies. There's no opportunity, no new anything
- 16:29Speaker 1: that I was given, like to silence me or hush
- 16:31Speaker 1: money or anything like that. But then on yesterday's episode
- 16:36Speaker 1: of Rachel's podcast, Rachel Goes Rogue, Rachel says she talks
- 16:40Speaker 1: about breaking up with James for.
- 16:41Speaker 2: A reason that could ruin his life.
- 16:44Speaker 1: This brings up previously made allegations by Kristin. We all
- 16:47Speaker 1: know at Sheena's first wedding, Kristin punched James James in
- 16:51Speaker 1: the face. James then punched Kristin into a bush, which
- 16:54Speaker 1: was cut. Kristin has alluded to other physical abuse, which
- 16:57Speaker 1: seemingly confirms in.
- 16:58Speaker 2: The attached post. I mean, it goes on on and
- 17:00Speaker 2: on and on.
- 17:00Speaker 1: But the main point of this story, I believe is
- 17:04Speaker 1: when it comes to James and any of these physical
- 17:06Speaker 1: abuse allegations, when it comes to Kristen or Rachel, is Chel,
- 17:13Speaker 1: it was Raquel and now it's Rachel. All of the
- 17:17Speaker 1: women while filming vander Pump Rules last season.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Supported James.
- 17:25Speaker 1: James was all of a sudden, like they like to say,
- 17:27Speaker 1: and vander Pump Rules talk.
- 17:29Speaker 2: The number one guy and the group the number one guy,
- 17:31Speaker 2: right when.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Clearly they've all had these discussions, and you know, I
- 17:36Speaker 1: don't know. I just feel like this is all getting
- 17:39Speaker 1: to a point where when you're in tunnel vision, you're
- 17:44Speaker 1: only talking about what is making good TV at that
- 17:46Speaker 1: moment and not necessarily all of the other situations and
- 17:50Speaker 1: not putting past history involved.
- 17:52Speaker 3: But well, I think it goes down to where there's smoke,
- 17:55Speaker 3: there's fire. You can only have so many allegations all
- 17:58Speaker 3: the time because before there has to be some tree
- 18:00Speaker 3: rooted in these. You can't just have all these different
- 18:03Speaker 3: accusations and they are all just fabricated.
- 18:07Speaker 1: And I mean, I think that if we get a
- 18:10Speaker 1: little taste into something, that's why you almost swell out
- 18:13Speaker 1: of your chair when I said, James Kennedy, right, And
- 18:15Speaker 1: that is exactly why.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but here's where I'm at. I'm a lot bigger
- 18:19Speaker 2: than him.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I outweigh him by a good fifty pounds, and I
- 18:22Speaker 3: clearly could beat his ass, So I'm not concerned.
- 18:27Speaker 2: That's why.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Well, I also think that at the beginning of this episode,
- 18:33Speaker 1: he says that he is sober again, So we have
- 18:36Speaker 1: now seen him be sober and not sober multiple times
- 18:39Speaker 1: on the show. My brain, that's you know ocd obsessing
- 18:43Speaker 1: about all the things, wonders if one has to do
- 18:46Speaker 1: with the other, But we will continue going, Oh, he's
- 18:49Speaker 1: California sober?
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Yeah, which can you be that anywhere else? Like?
- 18:55Speaker 3: Why? Like if you live in Ohio, can you be
- 18:58Speaker 3: California sober?
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:00Speaker 1: I like her, I mean or not and not drink
- 19:03Speaker 1: alcohol anywhere else? But yeah, I guess as the season progresses,
- 19:08Speaker 1: we'll see what's going on with his relationship with Ali
- 19:10Speaker 1: and what his relationship is with the group.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Okay, well, do you think Alie knows about all these
- 19:15Speaker 3: allegations and that's why she's insisting that he doesn't drink
- 19:17Speaker 3: because I assume all of these have to do with
- 19:19Speaker 3: some alcohol fueled violence.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I would assume that Ali doesn't live with her head
- 19:26Speaker 1: in the sand and has social media account and probably
- 19:32Speaker 1: knows who she is in a relationship with. Plus, I
- 19:36Speaker 1: would find it hard to believe that she started dating
- 19:40Speaker 1: James seeking out his dejaying skills without have watching past
- 19:47Speaker 1: seasons of vander Pump Rules where this has been touched on.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Right, So, so you're saying she's on notice, She's probably
- 19:55Speaker 2: on notice.
- 19:56Speaker 1: She's always been really lovely and sweet, but it's this
- 20:02Speaker 1: is a hot mess of a group. This is a
- 20:04Speaker 1: hot mess of a group. Because then we get to
- 20:08Speaker 1: which I love nick Ville. I've been on his podcast
- 20:12Speaker 1: a bunch. I think I love listening to his podcast.
- 20:16Speaker 1: I also don't know that I need to listen to
- 20:17Speaker 1: a three hour podcast with the Toms.
- 20:21Speaker 3: How is it three hours? What did they even talk
- 20:24Speaker 3: about for three hours? Or is one of the hours
- 20:26Speaker 3: because they showed up late, so for the first hour
- 20:28Speaker 3: is just everyone sitting around the room waiting for Tom
- 20:31Speaker 3: and wondering where he is.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I mean, how do you do that? I don't.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I think when you're a narcissist, that's what you do. See,
- 20:38Speaker 3: I am clearly not a narcissist because I show up
- 20:40Speaker 3: to everything on time, always time.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I show up to things on time.
- 20:45Speaker 1: If I'm going to be late, there's like multiple calls,
- 20:48Speaker 1: text I'm so sorry this emergency came up, blah blah blah,
- 20:52Speaker 1: Like there isn't just no I think no response in
- 20:56Speaker 1: regards to anything is bizarre. Even if I'm mad at somebody,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I'm still going to give some sort of response like okay,
- 21:04Speaker 1: it is what it is.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I'm not interested in, you know.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Well, and when you agree to be on someone's podcast,
- 21:10Speaker 3: you know they blocked a whole day out for you
- 21:12Speaker 3: and they have everything ready and so for you not
- 21:16Speaker 3: to show up on time, it's so disrespectful.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And disrespectful to your other best friend, Tom who's been
- 21:23Speaker 1: sitting there and feelings was once again taking out or heat.
- 21:29Speaker 2: He's taking the heat for you, like he has no
- 21:31Speaker 2: idea where you are.
- 21:32Speaker 1: He's just sitting there like, ah shit, Like how did
- 21:36Speaker 1: I get myself into another mess? That Tom's making me
- 21:38Speaker 1: look like an asshole? Right? But other things that were
- 21:41Speaker 1: covered on here, Essentially, I don't know that Tom Sandoval
- 21:45Speaker 1: can be held accountable to anything. There's everything that he says,
- 21:49Speaker 1: and I enjoyed parts of him when he was on
- 21:51Speaker 1: the podcast.
- 21:52Speaker 2: He is charming things.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Sandoval said he didn't want to dishonormatics by rehashing their
- 21:57Speaker 1: relationship issues.
- 21:58Speaker 2: No, I'm allowed to talk about it.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I can say whatever the f I want, Sandoval said,
- 22:03Speaker 1: but I'm not going to. Sandoval then proceeded to imply
- 22:06Speaker 1: that he cheated on Maddox because she belittled him and
- 22:10Speaker 1: ruined his self worth.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Okay, you cheated on every other X you had as well?
- 22:14Speaker 2: What was your excuse. Then, so I get it.
- 22:19Speaker 1: You're in a bad relationship, You're not happy anymore.
- 22:22Speaker 2: You know what you do? You break up?
- 22:25Speaker 1: You break up, you break up, you don't continue dating
- 22:30Speaker 1: for years, buy a home together, start planning to have sperms,
- 22:34Speaker 1: you know, saved.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Sperms, eggs, whatever saved to then cheat. It's just all
- 22:43Speaker 2: you have to do.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Tom, You were having a moment. You were good on
- 22:46Speaker 1: Special Forces. You said certain things in the two teas
- 22:49Speaker 1: and a pod podcast that made me realize like you
- 22:52Speaker 1: had remorse. But now you're doubling down right before the
- 22:56Speaker 1: season airs. It's not a good look because there are
- 22:59Speaker 1: gonna be points times. I can already feel that Arianna
- 23:02Speaker 1: is going to drive me crazy this season.
- 23:04Speaker 3: But you're gonna feel sorry for her because of this, Tom,
- 23:08Speaker 3: people are gonna feel sorry for her.
- 23:10Speaker 2: That's what's going to happen.
- 23:12Speaker 1: See what you did, They're gonna You're gonna have another
- 23:15Speaker 1: season of this if you keep doing press things where
- 23:18Speaker 1: you're just not even willing to go I really fucked up.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I'm sorry and move on.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah. I like how in the podcast he said something
- 23:26Speaker 3: to the effect of, I you know, because they asked,
- 23:28Speaker 3: what did you learn, and he's like.
- 23:30Speaker 2: What did I learn? What did I learn?
- 23:32Speaker 3: Like he was so mad in defenses first of all,
- 23:35Speaker 3: when you show up an hour late, like, I don't
- 23:37Speaker 3: feel like you have the right to be mad and defensive,
- 23:39Speaker 3: Like you should be humble and apologetic at that point.
- 23:43Speaker 3: But then for him to say he said something to
- 23:45Speaker 3: the effect of, well, I learned not to cheat that way.
- 23:48Speaker 2: I think that was what it was.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I like that one, like, learn to like cheat better,
- 23:53Speaker 3: you know, like I didn't do a good job of it.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Listen, I need to cheat on better circumstances. But he
- 23:58Speaker 1: has when he does actually say, he just said, I'm
- 24:02Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I don't know, dude. I'm just
- 24:04Speaker 1: trying to be a better person. Okay, So let's start
- 24:07Speaker 1: off a couple of things, Tom. This is a PSA
- 24:09Speaker 1: from popping off to you. Ways to be a better person.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Move out of the house.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Yeah, just move out. Just move out of the house.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Pay her, get in appraise, write or a check. There
- 24:21Speaker 2: you go, get out of the house. Other ways is
- 24:25Speaker 2: to talk.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Stop talking about all the things that she's done wrong
- 24:28Speaker 1: to you, because nobody cares even if she did, even
- 24:31Speaker 1: if she belittled you. Every day of your relationship, you
- 24:35Speaker 1: chose to stay. So that's another way.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, another one.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Don't leave your friends hanging for over an hour and
- 24:42Speaker 1: make them look like assholes.
- 24:46Speaker 2: But on her, I'm gonna do that to you sometime,
- 24:49Speaker 2: you know what, I'm gonna be really pissed. Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 3: I hope we go on someone else's podcast and then
- 24:54Speaker 3: I'm just gonna show up like an hour late and
- 24:56Speaker 3: let you sit there and see what kind of excuses
- 24:59Speaker 3: you can come up with.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Listen, I do think that we need to have a
- 25:03Speaker 1: lightning bolt on our backgrounds as well, because another thing
- 25:07Speaker 1: you could do, Tom, stop sending lightning bolts.
- 25:09Speaker 2: I don't understand.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Explain the lightning bolts, Oh my gosh, because Tom and
- 25:14Speaker 1: uh Rachel were matching lightning bolt necklaces.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Oh my god, they had matching necklaces.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Like that was their like signal to each other that
- 25:22Speaker 1: they are having this affair behind the back.
- 25:26Speaker 2: But it's just it's a real bummer.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Because I was starting to come around on Tom and
- 25:30Speaker 1: here we are.
- 25:31Speaker 2: But any he messed it up. He did messed it up.
- 25:35Speaker 1: You're only as good as last time I talked to you.
- 25:38Speaker 1: But Ari Auto Maddox is continuing on her victory tour
- 25:42Speaker 1: of what did La La call her God? Because she's
- 25:46Speaker 1: been put on because she is, She's roxy Heart.
- 25:50Speaker 2: In Chicago, she had her opening night.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Thank you to everyone for joining UH Chicago Musical and
- 25:57Speaker 1: for being unbelievably supportive and welcoming people. Released an Instagram
- 26:01Speaker 1: video of Ariana practicing for her debut after watching her
- 26:06Speaker 1: on Dancing with the Stars. I am sure she's an
- 26:08Speaker 1: incredible roxy Heart. I watched Erica Jane doing the same
- 26:12Speaker 1: show and I loved it.
- 26:13Speaker 3: So who do you think is better? Who's the better
- 26:17Speaker 3: roxy Heart?
- 26:18Speaker 2: I haven't seen Ariana yet.
- 26:20Speaker 3: If you had to, you have to choose, you have
- 26:23Speaker 3: to pick one. Who's the better one?
- 26:24Speaker 2: Well, I'm a.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Biased asshole, so of course I'm going to pick my
- 26:27Speaker 1: friend Erica, So.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I can't help it.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Plus, I think when I think roxy Heart, I think
- 26:33Speaker 1: more of an Erica type character than I don't.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Even though you're like the sweet underdog that got cheated on, Yes,
- 26:40Speaker 3: I just like the icy badass.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Yes that's exactly what.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Plus, even though we're all kind of the same age,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I still think that vander Pump rules people are like
- 26:49Speaker 1: thirty years younger than me.
- 26:51Speaker 3: I thought so too, But then when I read that
- 26:53Speaker 3: Tom's forty one and Arianna is thirty eight and we're
- 26:57Speaker 3: still like talking about them like serving, and I was
- 26:59Speaker 3: like so confused.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I'm like, these people are almost my age. You and
- 27:03Speaker 2: I could go work at sir.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Listen, if SIR is still open, we could or is
- 27:08Speaker 1: that one still open or is it closed? I don't
- 27:10Speaker 1: still Sir is still open. We couldn't work at pump.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Okay, but we could do Sir because I feel like
- 27:15Speaker 3: they have a little, a little elevated age there.
- 27:17Speaker 2: They We could buy some tables. I can see it. Listen.
- 27:24Speaker 1: If we're gonna get the good scoop that that good good,
- 27:27Speaker 1: then we are willing to put on our match guss
- 27:30Speaker 1: and show up and hold a drink at the beginning
- 27:34Speaker 1: and spell it as that they do in the promos.
- 27:36Speaker 1: But the next thing is involving our friend Alex Baskin.
- 27:41Speaker 1: He is the executive producer of vander Pump Rolls, also
- 27:45Speaker 1: Real Housewives Orange County, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
- 27:48Speaker 2: He also has his own podcasts.
- 27:50Speaker 3: I was just on his podcast a couple of weeks ago,
- 27:52Speaker 3: just throwing that out there.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Did you guys, tune in, tune in. So you didn't
- 27:57Speaker 1: grill him about scan of all, is what you're saying,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you didn't know.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I didn't know. Yeah, I didn't know at the time.
- 28:04Speaker 1: And now I need your focus one hundred percent. I
- 28:06Speaker 1: realized your filming real houses at Orange County. I need
- 28:09Speaker 1: you focus because this Cosmopolitan article didn't come in until
- 28:12Speaker 1: like six minutes before the.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Pod, Like, I need you sending it. You need me
- 28:16Speaker 2: on the ground, listen, boots on the ground. Okay, ready
- 28:23Speaker 2: to go.
- 28:24Speaker 1: La Times reports that scannabal provided a much needed jolt
- 28:27Speaker 1: to the series that had been in a rut since
- 28:29Speaker 1: its early heyday and it's run. Alex Baskan quotes, we
- 28:32Speaker 1: would have liked it if Rachel came back because I
- 28:35Speaker 1: think that there's a great interest in how she was doing.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I also think that it's best platform for her to
- 28:40Speaker 1: tell her story more so than any podcast. But that's
- 28:44Speaker 1: ultimately up to her, guys.
- 28:46Speaker 2: But also you can tune in.
- 28:48Speaker 1: It's an iHeartRadio podcast to Rachel goes rogue.
- 28:51Speaker 2: So because I met her at the iHeart you weren't there.
- 28:54Speaker 3: I met her at the iHeart Christmas the holiday dinner.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I couldn't know it that did she talk to you?
- 29:00Speaker 2: I talked to her for a long time. Well, go ahead,
- 29:03Speaker 2: feel free to share.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I had a lot of espresso martiniz and I don't
- 29:08Speaker 3: remember the conversation at all, but I thought she was lovely.
- 29:10Speaker 2: And now I'll probably get a lot of craft for that,
- 29:12Speaker 2: but I did. Okay, all right?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Did she seem like somebody you could trust?
- 29:19Speaker 3: She seemed very meek and kind of like a broken child.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I felt badly for her.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Okay, all right, that's I think that's what we see
- 29:31Speaker 1: at the beginning of this episode, or during this episode
- 29:34Speaker 1: with La La.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Where she reaches out to her. But we'll get to that.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Let's take a quick break, and then we'll come back
- 29:40Speaker 1: to recap the actual episode, not all.
- 29:42Speaker 2: The things they've been doing off of the show.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Okay, so we are back to recap vander Pump Rules.
- 29:58Speaker 1: There's a new intro for season eleven, which is set
- 30:01Speaker 1: to the iconic raise your Glass Banderpoop Rules theme song.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Viewers are greeted with a refreshed intro. At the beginning,
- 30:09Speaker 1: we get a glimpse of Arianna and Katie, who are
- 30:12Speaker 1: hanging out in their new West Hollywood sandwich shop, something
- 30:15Speaker 1: about her which I don't think is opened yet.
- 30:18Speaker 3: No, because I just read it's not open right something
- 30:21Speaker 3: with is it permits or I don't know. Maybe they
- 30:24Speaker 3: just don't know what they're doing. I feel like there's
- 30:26Speaker 3: a little bit of that in there too.
- 30:27Speaker 1: I'm looking for a good sandwich there. I would have
- 30:30Speaker 1: thought that Lisa vander Pump could help them get permits.
- 30:33Speaker 1: But then I guess if you start googling some of
- 30:35Speaker 1: her restaurants, maybe she isn't the one to reach.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Out to on that. Oh no, what's that mean? I
- 30:40Speaker 2: don't know, elaborate. You're gonna have to do your research, lawyer.
- 30:45Speaker 1: But then the camera transitions to the restaurant, Tom Tom
- 30:48Speaker 1: or Tom Sandval is pouring Tom Schwartz a refreshing cocktail,
- 30:52Speaker 1: and then quick exterior shot of the group's old stomping grounds. Sir,
- 30:56Speaker 1: the camera brings in to frame Laala James Sheena before
- 30:59Speaker 1: ending things off police of vander Pump.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Okay, mm hmm.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Now we actually start the episode starts off in the
- 31:07Speaker 1: sandwich shop, which ideally this would be open. Now the
- 31:10Speaker 1: sandwich shop would be open, because now that we are
- 31:14Speaker 1: watching it in real time, we should ultimately be able to.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I don't go places, but at least Postmates a sandwich.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Yeah, would you try their sandwich shop? Would you have shirt?
- 31:24Speaker 2: You would have it?
- 31:25Speaker 1: I would uber eats that all day long, a delicious sandwich.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I've seen them make the sandwiches before and they looked
- 31:32Speaker 1: really yummy. Katie and Arianna are going thrifting for their
- 31:37Speaker 1: sandwich shop. I can't say that it does look beautiful
- 31:41Speaker 1: well put together.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Oh the decor looks amazing.
- 31:45Speaker 3: I feel like they focused on the decor and the
- 31:49Speaker 3: and the like dishes, and then they were like, oh shit,
- 31:51Speaker 3: we we need like permits and stuff.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Yeah, oh shit, Oh who's gonna work here?
- 31:58Speaker 2: Yeah? Like look how well it looks.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Look at all the like the lighting and the chandeliers
- 32:03Speaker 3: and like the teacups. And then it's like, oh, but
- 32:07Speaker 3: I think we need like permit sending like people to
- 32:09Speaker 3: work here.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Do we think that something about her is the news
- 32:12Speaker 1: she buy Charret clothing line, like make years to get it?
- 32:17Speaker 3: I mean possibly we might want to take bets on
- 32:20Speaker 3: how long before this place opens.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I mean we've seen the tasting. Just give us the
- 32:25Speaker 1: damn sandwiches.
- 32:26Speaker 2: We want them.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Okay, you want so much as in Asaana. You know,
- 32:30Speaker 3: I would love a sandwich. First of all, it's a
- 32:33Speaker 3: sandwich shop. It's not complicated. It's not like they're back
- 32:36Speaker 3: there making gourmet meals like it's sandwiches.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I don't appreciate you downplaying a sandwich when listen. I
- 32:43Speaker 1: can't make a good sandwich, mind, you can't, no other
- 32:48Speaker 1: than butter and jelly.
- 32:50Speaker 2: How do you? How do you mess up a sandwich?
- 32:52Speaker 1: My ratio is always off with something. Either it's too
- 32:55Speaker 1: much mustard or it's gotten soggy, or I add the
- 32:58Speaker 1: vinegar and not the oil, like there's something we're too
- 33:00Speaker 1: much of Regano. It's just always a shit sandwich. When
- 33:03Speaker 1: I make it, theirs looks good. Haiti says that the
- 33:06Speaker 1: premiere we're permitent proof. We're just waiting for physical copies
- 33:09Speaker 1: before we can get the final one. We've been making
- 33:12Speaker 1: some changes, but we are excited.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:14Speaker 3: The question is are they paying rent on this space
- 33:17Speaker 3: the entire time with no income coming in?
- 33:20Speaker 1: They've got to be but I I mean, Ariana has
- 33:23Speaker 1: had eighty six other jobs, so I mean she's be true.
- 33:26Speaker 3: She's like, I'll pay for it, don't worry about it.
- 33:29Speaker 2: It's all the lady, I got it. I'll just I'll
- 33:32Speaker 2: just do a little dance out front, and it's no
- 33:35Speaker 2: big deal, Like it's fine. But I also wonder how
- 33:38Speaker 2: much the rent is.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I mean, there's if we looked at what all the
- 33:41Speaker 1: shit I buy on Amazon, it's probably less than the
- 33:44Speaker 1: rent a month for the sandwich Shop. So I'm not
- 33:47Speaker 1: in a place to judge on spending money on things
- 33:49Speaker 1: that you're not actually utilizing. Because the amount of unused
- 33:53Speaker 1: items from Amazon, I could start a hoarder's pairent.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Well, maybe they'll have another tasting and they'll invite us. Well,
- 34:00Speaker 2: we might need to do a little a little better.
- 34:02Speaker 1: And Hi, hey ladies, we'd love to come into the
- 34:08Speaker 1: sandwich Shop and take notes on anything that happens so
- 34:11Speaker 1: we can talk about it.
- 34:12Speaker 2: We love sandwiches.
- 34:14Speaker 1: We love a good sandwich. Even though I say sandwich,
- 34:18Speaker 1: not sandwich. I can't help myself a sandwich. I have
- 34:22Speaker 1: a sandwich damage. But then we see the coming and
- 34:25Speaker 1: goings of Tom and Ariana and how they communicate solely
- 34:28Speaker 1: through the assistant. Tom is taping Special Forces, so he's
- 34:32Speaker 1: not at the house, but he and Ariana both still
- 34:34Speaker 1: live there. They're maintaining a no contact rule. Tom wants
- 34:39Speaker 1: to buy Ariana out. He says that he and Rachel
- 34:42Speaker 1: are still in communication. Rachel is sending mail to the
- 34:46Speaker 1: house with lightning bolts. Now you know what that means?
- 34:48Speaker 2: Now, I got it.
- 34:51Speaker 1: We already talked about how we would maneuver this situation.
- 34:53Speaker 1: But if Tom did to me what he did to Ariana,
- 34:57Speaker 1: I would prefer to live in a studio apartment. Are
- 35:00Speaker 1: in the sandwich shop wake feeling? There you go, we
- 35:04Speaker 1: found a solution to everything. Can you live in a restaurant,
- 35:08Speaker 1: though I'm not sure.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Yes, as long as as you're hidden, as long as
- 35:15Speaker 3: your caw is hidden during the day, you only pull
- 35:19Speaker 3: it out at night, and.
- 35:20Speaker 1: As long as you keep your feet covered with socks
- 35:23Speaker 1: and and don't touch any of the surfaces that you're
- 35:28Speaker 1: gonna be making sandwiches on.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Okay, you know when they showed when they panned Tom's
- 35:33Speaker 3: room and then they panned to Arianna's room, I actually
- 35:36Speaker 3: thought that I hit.
- 35:37Speaker 2: The remote and ended up on the episode of Hoarders.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I was like, oh, oh wait, wait the channel changed,
- 35:43Speaker 3: let me go back, And then.
- 35:44Speaker 2: I was like, are you kidding me?
- 35:48Speaker 1: I mean, what about when we then see Schwartz's rugged
- 35:51Speaker 1: and like his eighty two dead plants, and I can't
- 35:56Speaker 1: It was more than I could. I was like, I mean,
- 35:58Speaker 1: I'm not even that organized of a hue and being
- 36:00Speaker 1: inside of my home and I was like, this is
- 36:02Speaker 1: a lot for me to handle.
- 36:04Speaker 3: It's a lot of there's a lot of hoarding going on,
- 36:06Speaker 3: and I don't understand. If you know your house is
- 36:08Speaker 3: going to be filmed, do you do you not pick
- 36:10Speaker 3: that shit up.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Or at least hide it like there's there's drawort. I'm
- 36:14Speaker 1: going to teach you guys a thing behind this. I
- 36:18Speaker 1: have some cabinets, and those cabinets are filled to the
- 36:21Speaker 1: gills with useless things that I don't need anyone to
- 36:24Speaker 1: ever see. Once every couple of years, my OCD comes
- 36:28Speaker 1: out and then I decide to clean it up, yeah,
- 36:32Speaker 1: and give it all away and realize I haven't touched
- 36:34Speaker 1: it in three years, so now it can leave my life.
- 36:37Speaker 1: But I don't just leave it all over the floor and.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Let people film it.
- 36:44Speaker 1: But my vitamin cabinet does look askew.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I one of those Are you one of those crazy
- 36:50Speaker 3: supplement people? Yes?
- 36:52Speaker 1: And like I have one area in my room where
- 36:54Speaker 1: there's like six hundred vitamins, and I'm always like, oh,
- 36:57Speaker 1: if I'm filming an ad or something and I see
- 36:59Speaker 1: all the vitamins clutter, I'm like, no, no move, move.
- 37:02Speaker 3: But do you take them? Do you take all the supplements?
- 37:06Speaker 3: I go through phases?
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeh.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I think I really feel so much better from all
- 37:10Speaker 1: of the supplements. I take them all, but then I
- 37:11Speaker 1: guess stomach ache.
- 37:13Speaker 2: So it's you know, you win some, you lose some.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I hear you, okay, speaking of winning some and losing some,
- 37:20Speaker 1: we get into Brock and Sena. Sena reads a text
- 37:24Speaker 1: that she sent to Tom's Sandoval after one of his
- 37:26Speaker 1: best friends passed away, to prove that she didn't completely
- 37:29Speaker 1: ice him out. He blocked her number and multiple different
- 37:33Speaker 1: Instagram accounts relating to her, including.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I Love It.
- 37:39Speaker 1: She's like, I'm not even offended that he blocked me,
- 37:41Speaker 1: that he blocked my podcast name, but the fact that
- 37:44Speaker 1: he blocked Summer Moon. I want to know was he
- 37:47Speaker 1: following her in the first place? A grown man following
- 37:50Speaker 1: a child's Instagram is weird to me.
- 37:52Speaker 3: In the first Well, I don't know if he was
- 37:54Speaker 3: following I'm sure the reason for blocking was so that
- 37:57Speaker 3: Sheena couldn't use that account to go see what he's
- 37:59Speaker 3: up to. I guess, but yeah, well, I mean I
- 38:03Speaker 3: doubt he was following that.
- 38:04Speaker 1: He was really thinking that through to the point like
- 38:07Speaker 1: I wonder if Sena goes on and looks at me
- 38:09Speaker 1: through summer moons.
- 38:10Speaker 3: No, I assume his assistant did it right. What was
- 38:13Speaker 3: her name, Annie or Anne? And I'm sure annas out
- 38:17Speaker 3: there turning off the led lights and blocking everyone.
- 38:21Speaker 2: That's her job. Can't breathe just put up my water.
- 38:27Speaker 1: But in a positive note, when it comes to Brock
- 38:31Speaker 1: and Sheena, Brock is a prime example of what a
- 38:34Speaker 1: good haircut can do for someone.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Oh, he used to have the long hair. Huh, yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 3: you're not a fan. You're not a fan of like
- 38:40Speaker 3: the thor hair.
- 38:42Speaker 2: No, No, I'm definitely not.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Edwin used to have it, and he would tuck it
- 38:47Speaker 1: into the beanie cap to hide it.
- 38:48Speaker 2: But I feel like Edwin can't pull off the long
- 38:51Speaker 2: hair though.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Well, let's slash a photo right now that Edwin was
- 38:54Speaker 1: his long hair dyed blonde, and well we can all
- 38:57Speaker 1: be the judge.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Of that way.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Edwin had blonde hair, blonde hair, Yes, Okay, I can't
- 39:02Speaker 3: even picture this.
- 39:02Speaker 2: This is the man I fell in love with him.
- 39:05Speaker 2: I can't even picture this. Well, Shane's never had hair,
- 39:07Speaker 2: so there you go. We're just actually no, in high
- 39:13Speaker 2: school he had a ton of hair. He had a ton.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Now like since I've met him, he hasn't had a
- 39:17Speaker 3: lot of hair, so, oh my gosh.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Then Lala talks about her custody battle. Her ex Randall
- 39:23Speaker 1: doesn't want her to have full legal control because he
- 39:26Speaker 1: doesn't want her to put their daughter, Ocean on vander
- 39:28Speaker 1: Pump rules.
- 39:30Speaker 2: This part made perfect sense to me.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Then he but he will give her complete control when
- 39:34Speaker 1: it comes to her schooling, her health like that, And
- 39:38Speaker 1: she made.
- 39:38Speaker 2: A good point.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Great, I don't care about having her on the show.
- 39:42Speaker 1: What I do care about is making those big decisions,
- 39:45Speaker 1: which the fact that he will sign off on that, yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 1: shows that there's a movement there.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Right yeah, yeah, and that you know what, that's smart
- 39:50Speaker 3: on his part that he's doing that, because those are
- 39:52Speaker 3: things that will take forever to get through, and then
- 39:56Speaker 3: the judge will end up ordering that they both have
- 39:57Speaker 3: legal custody.
- 39:58Speaker 2: It'll be fifty to fifty and they'll be have to
- 40:00Speaker 2: make decisions.
- 40:01Speaker 3: So that was really Actually I think it was really
- 40:03Speaker 3: good of him to just say, hey, you take those decisions,
- 40:05Speaker 3: you know.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Because I mean, I just from following him on Instagram.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I don't think he's the one that's probably going to
- 40:12Speaker 1: like go to the passport office and like get her,
- 40:16Speaker 1: uh you know, her new passport, right like all of
- 40:18Speaker 1: the things that moms just do instinct.
- 40:21Speaker 2: Well, he's not.
- 40:21Speaker 3: He's probably not gonna have an opinion on what school
- 40:23Speaker 3: she goes to. He's just gonna say, whatever you decide,
- 40:26Speaker 3: you know, that's great, go for it, because he's not
- 40:28Speaker 3: going to take her and pick her up.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Well, I mean, well, I don't know.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I think right now it gets a portion of I
- 40:33Speaker 1: don't know their exact custody agreement, but I do think
- 40:36Speaker 1: if their money is already set, like if she already
- 40:41Speaker 1: gets a certain amount of child support and whatever that
- 40:44Speaker 1: may be, then I don't know, does anything else really
- 40:47Speaker 1: come into play. You have to make decisions based on
- 40:49Speaker 1: your income and what you're getting from your ex right.
- 40:53Speaker 2: I don't know what you mean. Look, oh, like.
- 40:56Speaker 1: If I were to get a divorce from Edwin tomorrow
- 40:59Speaker 1: and I got a certain amount of child support, that
- 41:03Speaker 1: would also count towards schooling, and then I were to
- 41:06Speaker 1: get full approval of what school it would go to.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Correct, Well, I don't know if you have legal if
- 41:12Speaker 3: you have joint legal custody, then he would have a
- 41:14Speaker 3: say in what school they go to, right, Right, So.
- 41:17Speaker 1: I'm saying, if the money's already squared away, yeah, then
- 41:21Speaker 1: you know, leave it to Laala to figure out what's
- 41:23Speaker 1: best for their daughter.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Right.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Then Tom Schwartz admits to James how bad the scandal
- 41:30Speaker 1: has been for him and Sandoval's bar Schwarts and Sandy's
- 41:34Speaker 1: to the extent of servers, quitting people, harassing the workers,
- 41:38Speaker 1: leaving bad reviews.
- 41:40Speaker 3: I thought that was so sad, and that is when fans,
- 41:44Speaker 3: I think, take it too far. It is one thing
- 41:46Speaker 3: to watch a show, have your favorites, be invested, have
- 41:50Speaker 3: an opinion, But when you go out of your way
- 41:54Speaker 3: to do harmful things to a business that not only
- 41:57Speaker 3: it's not just affecting Tom Sandival, it's affecting all the
- 41:59Speaker 3: people that work there as well.
- 42:01Speaker 2: That is way too far. But this doesn't care.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I have a hard time because I saw the history
- 42:06Speaker 1: of them trying to open shorts and Sandies. People were
- 42:09Speaker 1: quitting before this ever happened.
- 42:11Speaker 3: So you're saying you don't think people are quitting because
- 42:13Speaker 3: of the scandal, but people aren't going there and aren't
- 42:17Speaker 3: eating there and aren't spending money because of the scandal.
- 42:20Speaker 1: I think at this point they probably are, I think,
- 42:23Speaker 1: but at that point in time when nobody I mean,
- 42:28Speaker 1: they were pretty much terrorizing his yelp.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm saying that's detrimental. Nobody wants that as
- 42:37Speaker 3: a whole.
- 42:38Speaker 2: And there are there. It's a trickle down effect.
- 42:40Speaker 3: There's all kinds of people that are affected by that,
- 42:42Speaker 3: not just Tom Sandibal.
- 42:44Speaker 1: But also a cheater can still make good food. A
- 42:47Speaker 1: cheater can still make a good cocktail.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Like out there making sandwiches. Yes, Like, do you remember
- 42:53Speaker 2: the other night.
- 42:53Speaker 1: I'm not going to say who it was, but there
- 42:55Speaker 1: was somebody that was in the Bravo blogging podcast world
- 43:00Speaker 1: at our show that like told me a thousand times
- 43:03Speaker 1: that one of the restaurants that we were going to
- 43:05Speaker 1: after the show was owned by Gavin Newsom. I'm like,
- 43:08Speaker 1: I don't care who owns what restaurant. This is where
- 43:12Speaker 1: I was told to go if the food's good, Like,
- 43:14Speaker 1: I don't need to invest my time into doing going
- 43:17Speaker 1: down the rabbit.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Hole on who owns this damn place? Right? What was
- 43:21Speaker 2: the intent in telling you so that you didn't want
- 43:23Speaker 2: to go there?
- 43:24Speaker 1: I don't know, because I was told so many times
- 43:27Speaker 1: the same information and told other places I could go to,
- 43:31Speaker 1: but I'm like.
- 43:31Speaker 2: I like them.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Well, we didn't have a choice. First of all, there
- 43:34Speaker 3: wasn't a choice. There was an after party. We were
- 43:35Speaker 3: going out to eat as a group.
- 43:37Speaker 1: It is what it is, and the food was good
- 43:39Speaker 1: and the drinks were good, and they treated us. Well,
- 43:41Speaker 1: that's that's what you go to for a restaurant, not
- 43:44Speaker 1: because you know, but I guess it's different if you're
- 43:46Speaker 1: on a reality show that you're basing on your names
- 43:50Speaker 1: that you got on the reality Yeah, but either way.
- 43:53Speaker 2: So basically, here's the moral of the story.
- 43:56Speaker 3: You and I can not go out and open up
- 43:58Speaker 3: a restaurant because every time and we pissed someone off
- 44:01Speaker 3: in an episode, there would be no business, and we wail, we.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Would get shut down.
- 44:07Speaker 1: We wouldn't even be able to get any I mean,
- 44:10Speaker 1: we would get permits, but then after the permits.
- 44:13Speaker 2: Would be screw Yes exactly.
- 44:23Speaker 1: This part kind of made me laugh a little bit.
- 44:25Speaker 1: It's James and Ali opening up their house and it
- 44:29Speaker 1: looks beautiful. But the timing of the editors when he
- 44:33Speaker 1: goes and it's quiet here, and then.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I like how it's like it's right next to
- 44:41Speaker 3: the Burbank Airport. It's so peaceful and quiet as like
- 44:47Speaker 3: a seven forty seven flies over. They got a good
- 44:53Speaker 3: deal on it. Got a good deal, O listen, might
- 44:56Speaker 3: break a few noise ordinances, but that's okay.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Our house in Or County is near kind of where
- 45:01Speaker 1: that train is, and I've gotten used to it. I
- 45:04Speaker 1: did the first night I ever slept there, I was like, WHOA,
- 45:07Speaker 1: that's loud. But then you know, I've really settled into it,
- 45:10Speaker 1: so there's no shape whatever that was, but the timing
- 45:14Speaker 1: was funny. But James then opens up about being California sober.
- 45:19Speaker 1: But something else I was thinking about during this conversation
- 45:22Speaker 1: between Schwartz and James was I'm.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Not sure, probably the same way I sound right now.
- 45:28Speaker 1: I'm not sure that James needed that third shot of
- 45:32Speaker 1: espresso and this conversation.
- 45:34Speaker 2: I know he's a lot got a lot of energy.
- 45:37Speaker 2: He's just like, oh.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Now, now I see where that personality comes from. There's
- 45:43Speaker 3: a he just shoots caffeine into his veins all day long.
- 45:47Speaker 2: So yeah, just getting after it one way or another.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Then they talk about how Arianna met her new boyfriend
- 45:55Speaker 1: Daniel ten to eleven days after Tom blewe everything up.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Daniel lives in New York. Wait, how did they meet?
- 46:02Speaker 2: I think they.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Met at Coachella the first picture of the I could
- 46:07Speaker 1: be wrong, but the first picture I ever saw of
- 46:08Speaker 1: them together was at Coachelle. I don't know if they
- 46:11Speaker 1: met there or they met prior from friends and met
- 46:15Speaker 1: up there, but the first time we ever saw them
- 46:17Speaker 1: together was at Coachella. He was in the audience a
- 46:21Speaker 1: lot during the Dancing with the Stars. We saw pictures
- 46:25Speaker 1: of him floating around filming this season.
- 46:27Speaker 2: But he does live in New York. Well, that poses
- 46:30Speaker 2: a problem.
- 46:31Speaker 1: That poses a problem except for right now when she
- 46:34Speaker 1: is doing Chicago in New York and she still lives
- 46:37Speaker 1: with her ex boyfriend.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that cheated on her.
- 46:43Speaker 1: So this is helpful, But Shina doesn't think Ariana has
- 46:48Speaker 1: processed everything with Tom yet. Ariana refuses to be friends
- 46:51Speaker 1: with Tom Schwartz, especially after he told people to give
- 46:54Speaker 1: sand of All a hug if you see him and
- 46:56Speaker 1: to watch what happens live. Ariana texted Schwartz to go
- 46:59Speaker 1: choke on Tom's dirty ass dick after that aired.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Oh she is not happy.
- 47:07Speaker 1: What do you think about the moving on too fast
- 47:09Speaker 1: of it all? And did Schwartz deserve that text?
- 47:13Speaker 3: Well, I mean ten days is really that's really soon.
- 47:17Speaker 3: I think when something like that happens, that's so traumatizing.
- 47:21Speaker 3: I do think you need a lot of time to
- 47:23Speaker 3: regroup and reset and to kind of figure out who
- 47:25Speaker 3: you are, why you made bad decisions, why you were
- 47:28Speaker 3: with someone like that for so long, and just be
- 47:31Speaker 3: in a good place with yourself.
- 47:32Speaker 2: I think that's really fast.
- 47:34Speaker 1: So but it also fast. It's yeah, it's super fast.
- 47:39Speaker 1: But I also wonder how long both of those both
- 47:43Speaker 1: Arianna and Tom were completely checked out of this relationship.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Okay, but if they were both so completely checked out,
- 47:49Speaker 2: then why so much hatred, like especially towards shorts. I mean, he's.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Shorts, shorts, shorts, shwarts.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Schwartz. I think it's the public.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Humility of it all that happened, because I think there
- 48:08Speaker 1: was already problems that they were trying to hide from
- 48:13Speaker 1: the cameras for a very long time.
- 48:14Speaker 2: It's just my assumption.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Who between who Arianna and Sandoval? Oh okay, and you're
- 48:21Speaker 3: saying they just kind of glossed over it hit it,
- 48:24Speaker 3: so it makes it look like it came out of nowhere,
- 48:26Speaker 3: out of nowhere.
- 48:27Speaker 1: But I think that you know, they they had a
- 48:30Speaker 1: lot of business ventures together, they'd bought homes together. They
- 48:33Speaker 1: were doing what they thought they should both probably do.
- 48:36Speaker 1: But I think at the end of the day, yes,
- 48:37Speaker 1: there's a lot of rage because she was put in
- 48:40Speaker 1: a situation where she had to put something in front
- 48:43Speaker 1: of the world and scandival became huge, and it probably
- 48:46Speaker 1: was very hurtful, especially the timing. One of the times
- 48:50Speaker 1: he cheated was right after her dog passed away. Another
- 48:52Speaker 1: time was after her grandmother passed away. Like it was
- 48:54Speaker 1: just the hits kept coming. And I'm sure she's very angry,
- 48:57Speaker 1: But would you be I mean, we already know Shane's
- 49:02Speaker 1: not gonna cheat on you, but if he did, would
- 49:05Speaker 1: you be mad at Shane's best friend if he knew,
- 49:08Speaker 1: or would.
- 49:08Speaker 2: You just be mad at Shane? No, I would just
- 49:10Speaker 2: be mad at Shane.
- 49:11Speaker 3: I mean, ultimately, Shane is the one who would put
- 49:14Speaker 3: his best friend in an awkward situation. Where he has to,
- 49:18Speaker 3: you know, try to to navigate that line of not
- 49:21Speaker 3: telling me or not telling her and still being friends
- 49:24Speaker 3: with him and not really liking what he's doing, but
- 49:26Speaker 3: having I mean, that's an awkward position for him.
- 49:28Speaker 2: To be in.
- 49:29Speaker 3: So and why didn't she have that same energy with
- 49:33Speaker 3: Lalla when she reached out to rock hel Rachel.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Because in the same back.
- 49:41Speaker 1: One, I think she doesn't really want to get into
- 49:43Speaker 1: a fight with Lalla.
- 49:44Speaker 2: I think that's me too.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Schwartz is game an easy target, an
- 49:49Speaker 1: easy target because he's kind of just and he just
- 49:52Speaker 1: takes it, and she knows the sensitive I think all
- 49:55Speaker 1: Schwartz was trying to say when he was on watch
- 49:58Speaker 1: what happens if his fans chill, not like, actually go
- 50:01Speaker 1: give him a hug, just like we don't need to
- 50:03Speaker 1: give him death threats, which I agreed, even though he
- 50:05Speaker 1: showed up to Nick's late, or cheated or didn't any
- 50:08Speaker 1: of the things he's probably gonna continue doing. Yeah, I
- 50:11Speaker 1: don't think death should be wished on any human being.
- 50:15Speaker 2: No, he's just a doucher, So let's just move on.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Let's just move on.
- 50:20Speaker 1: Then, of course, our favorite topic no matter what podcast
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'm on. No matter who I'm talking to, this comes
- 50:26Speaker 1: up on a daily basis, the word ozempic. Everyone is
- 50:30Speaker 1: asking if she's on now, they're asking if she is
- 50:33Speaker 1: on it.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Well, sheen is.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Always skinny, so to me, I didn't know that. She
- 50:36Speaker 3: looked at me thinner than usual? Is she thinner than normal?
- 50:40Speaker 1: I mean at this point, anyone who drops half a
- 50:42Speaker 1: pound is on ozempic to the pub.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Like my dog's on ozempic, Like everybody's on Olympic.
- 50:51Speaker 2: People are like, you're on Olympic. Blah blah blah.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I'm like, I've lost all muscle tone because I couldn't
- 50:56Speaker 1: work out for a good amount of time. I hopefully
- 50:58Speaker 1: I'll look a little stronger next time you see me.
- 51:00Speaker 1: That damn answer. But it's just we. But we do
- 51:07Speaker 1: get into a conversation where La La opens up about
- 51:11Speaker 1: some of her post part of anxiety, being on medication,
- 51:16Speaker 1: taking a little break from drinking, like all of these things,
- 51:19Speaker 1: which I think had me one hundred percent until she
- 51:23Speaker 1: said because of the affair when she met.
- 51:27Speaker 2: The other person's affair. I thought she was.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Gonna say, like postpartum, like all these things. But the
- 51:32Speaker 1: scandaval affair triggered all of it.
- 51:35Speaker 3: I was like, oh, oh, oh, so you thought she
- 51:38Speaker 3: was referring to the owner her own affair.
- 51:40Speaker 2: No, she said affair.
- 51:42Speaker 1: At the end, she said, I've just been struggling with
- 51:44Speaker 1: a lot of postpart of MOCD and anxiety and all
- 51:46Speaker 1: of these things coming together all of that. I was like,
- 51:48Speaker 1: me too, and then she goes, but I mean it
- 51:53Speaker 1: really just set off with Scandabal.
- 51:55Speaker 3: Okay, So you were like, so we're not the same.
- 51:58Speaker 3: You're like, I'm just like that all the time.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I'm just like that, all of that. This is the
- 52:02Speaker 1: life that I live. Like, my anxiety didn't get worse
- 52:06Speaker 1: because of Scandival.
- 52:08Speaker 3: It's just while you didn't live it, Like maybe if
- 52:10Speaker 3: you were in there, you probably would have had I
- 52:13Speaker 3: don't know, maybe you would have lost some weight too
- 52:14Speaker 3: and had even more anxiety.
- 52:17Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, maybe we never know if we do
- 52:20Speaker 1: know what's coming. With some flashbacks of things coming forward
- 52:24Speaker 1: about Schwartz, Shina did say that the affair with Scandival
- 52:30Speaker 1: made her think that everybody could be cheating.
- 52:32Speaker 2: You can't trust anybody.
- 52:34Speaker 1: But then later on in this season, it appears that
- 52:37Speaker 1: we can't trust Sheena and Shorts as.
- 52:40Speaker 2: You like to call her short.
- 52:42Speaker 1: But we don't know any of the background on that,
- 52:44Speaker 1: so I'm gonna have to wait.
- 52:45Speaker 2: I've always like Shina.
- 52:46Speaker 1: She's always been really fun and transparent when I've been
- 52:49Speaker 1: around her.
- 52:50Speaker 2: So I don't know. Okay.
- 52:53Speaker 3: I did like that La La reached out to Rachel Raquale. Yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 3: but I do you think But my question watching that
- 53:01Speaker 3: was was that a production thing or was that a
- 53:03Speaker 3: Lala thing? Or do you think it was just a
- 53:04Speaker 3: mix of both. I mean, it could be both too.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I think one it was at this point Rachel Raquel's
- 53:12Speaker 1: contract was still not one hundred percent not happening. I
- 53:16Speaker 1: think there was still a hope that they could get
- 53:18Speaker 1: her back, and I would imagine La La watching herself
- 53:21Speaker 1: back after last season was like, maybe I was a
- 53:25Speaker 1: little too intense with this person, considering I myself was
- 53:29Speaker 1: involved as marry other woman, right, So I think sometimes
- 53:33Speaker 1: in the moment, you can be really intense about stuff
- 53:35Speaker 1: and then watching yourself back, you're like, hey, yeah.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Took that touch too far. Yeah yeah, no, I get that.
- 53:41Speaker 1: And if there was going to be somebody to reach out, no, I.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Just doubled down. I'm like, yeah, I should have been
- 53:46Speaker 2: that aggressive.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't. I'm an overthinker. But nobody else really
- 53:50Speaker 1: could have reached out her because it couldn't have been
- 53:52Speaker 1: Seena because there was already a lawsuit involved.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Right, No, Lala was the logical choice. Laala was a
- 53:58Speaker 2: logical choice, and it made it made sense for her
- 54:01Speaker 2: to reach out. So do you think that.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Rachel ever even responded back via text? Because we know Schort,
- 54:11Speaker 1: I mean, we know Sanval never responded to Sheena's text.
- 54:14Speaker 1: So do we think there was any correspondence back from
- 54:17Speaker 1: Rachel or she was just done?
- 54:18Speaker 3: I'm going to guess Rachel Raqueal didn't respond. I think
- 54:21Speaker 3: she wants nothing to do with that, like she's trying
- 54:23Speaker 3: to separate.
- 54:24Speaker 1: And then but then she started a podcast to talk
- 54:27Speaker 1: about it, I guess.
- 54:30Speaker 2: But a podcast is a very safe space. You can
- 54:33Speaker 2: get it. I barely ever get hate from the podcast.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Well you get all you get hate all the time.
- 54:39Speaker 3: No, I just mean a safe space as than like
- 54:42Speaker 3: literally a safe space where you're just in your own
- 54:44Speaker 3: room and you can say what you want to get
- 54:45Speaker 3: say and then you just go live your life and
- 54:47Speaker 3: you don't have to deal with like actually physically being
- 54:50Speaker 3: around any of those people.
- 54:52Speaker 1: How did you feel with the way that Ariana wouldn't
- 54:55Speaker 1: even look at Schwartz when she was at his restaurant,
- 54:58Speaker 1: Like what if you want to come by?
- 55:00Speaker 2: Like dropped a check at the end for the for
- 55:02Speaker 2: the drinks. I thought it was slightly petty. I don't know.
- 55:06Speaker 3: I just feel like you have to you have to
- 55:08Speaker 3: channel your hatred to Tom and you can't really let
- 55:12Speaker 3: it leak over into other people. I mean, what was
- 55:14Speaker 3: he supposed to do? Like, how was he supposed to
- 55:17Speaker 3: handle that situation? If he went to her and told
- 55:20Speaker 3: her he would have he would have. You know, he's
- 55:23Speaker 3: not a good friend to Tom, and I'm sure he
- 55:24Speaker 3: didn't agree.
- 55:25Speaker 2: With what he was doing. But I don't know.
- 55:27Speaker 3: I just that's a very awkward position to be in.
- 55:30Speaker 3: I mean, I've been in a position like that before.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Tell me more.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Well, I mean I've I've had a friend who was
- 55:37Speaker 3: cheating on a spouse and I knew about it and
- 55:40Speaker 3: she confided in me and she would tell me all
- 55:42Speaker 3: the time.
- 55:42Speaker 2: But I didn't run and go tell her husband because I.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Felt like, like I I that's between them, Like it's
- 55:49Speaker 3: not up to me to go and blow up their life,
- 55:52Speaker 3: Like I don't agree with what she's doing, but I
- 55:54Speaker 3: also didn't feel as if I needed to go.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Is this friend on the Real House's Orange County?
- 56:01Speaker 3: No, unfortunately not, So I'm sorry. That's not a teaser
- 56:04Speaker 3: for season eighteen. That's really just my actual life that
- 56:08Speaker 3: I deal with on the daily.
- 56:10Speaker 1: But I think you can also say, like, listen, don't
- 56:13Speaker 1: I don't want to talk to you about this situation.
- 56:15Speaker 1: If this the way you want to live your life,
- 56:17Speaker 1: you want to do this, it is what it is,
- 56:18Speaker 1: but I don't tell me anymore.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Well, I feel like she could say, look, I'm disappointed
- 56:23Speaker 3: in the way you handled it, but I think the
- 56:27Speaker 3: the dirt like go righte his dirty dick and like
- 56:29Speaker 3: ignoring him like he doesn't exist, and you know, getting mad.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Clearly you're all filming a show together and you're all
- 56:35Speaker 1: going to have to exist, we soon know, on a
- 56:37Speaker 1: beach with a line in between the two, so like,
- 56:40Speaker 1: let's pull it together.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Then Lisa vander Pump gets.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Her her action in as she pulls Lalla aside to
- 56:47Speaker 1: talk about Rachel. She says she understands why Rachel didn't
- 56:50Speaker 1: want to go against Tom because she'd be completely alone
- 56:53Speaker 1: so I think that really.
- 56:56Speaker 2: That resonated with Lalla as well.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think if you've been alienated for your friends
- 57:00Speaker 1: and other people have been telling you all along, this
- 57:02Speaker 1: is gonna hurt you, and then you don't even have
- 57:04Speaker 1: that person, it's it's a struggle.
- 57:07Speaker 3: Yeah, then you're you're on an island, and there's nothing
- 57:10Speaker 3: worse on reality TV than to be on an island.
- 57:12Speaker 2: That's the kiss of death. It is the kiss of death.
- 57:15Speaker 1: But I think that Lala was you know, doing the
- 57:17Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes of vander Pump roles, doing the last throw
- 57:21Speaker 1: Hail Mary in hopes that this would bring her back,
- 57:24Speaker 1: but it didn't. Then, of course, Katie and Sheena are
- 57:29Speaker 1: starting to develop a friendship again, right before we find
- 57:31Speaker 1: out that she allegedly makes out a warts right.
- 57:36Speaker 2: Katie also, that is awkward. I know, awkward word.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Katie also visits Tom Schwartz at his apartment to pick
- 57:43Speaker 1: up their dogs. She emphasizes he's no longer her problem
- 57:48Speaker 1: and they seem to be on good terms, but then
- 57:50Speaker 1: he starts asking her for advice and you can tell
- 57:52Speaker 1: she doesn't want to give it to him. Yeah, She's like,
- 57:54Speaker 1: He's like, I don't care, I just I'm I'm at
- 57:57Speaker 1: indifferent in different is a great place to be.
- 58:00Speaker 3: That means I don't want to give you advice. I
- 58:01Speaker 3: don't want to like have conversations and hang out.
- 58:04Speaker 1: So yeah, I can still be in the same room
- 58:06Speaker 1: with you. I can sit on the couch next to you.
- 58:08Speaker 1: I can share was that an espresso pod or whatever
- 58:10Speaker 1: it is that they were having, But like she's like,
- 58:13Speaker 1: I don't need figure.
- 58:15Speaker 2: It out on your own, right.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Then Lalla confesses the voice note, which I actually didn't
- 58:22Speaker 1: realize was a voice note.
- 58:23Speaker 2: I thought it was a voicemail.
- 58:25Speaker 1: A voice note like difference a voicemail is like I
- 58:29Speaker 1: called your phone rings and then I leave your voicemail.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Voice note is just you do it into the text it.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, you'll be getting a lot of those
- 58:38Speaker 1: from me moving forward because the Elite. Yeah, then we
- 58:42Speaker 1: get to teasers for this season. Oh sorry, right before
- 58:46Speaker 1: teasers for this season. One of the way they end
- 58:49Speaker 1: the episode is Tom sand of All returning back from
- 58:54Speaker 1: taping Special Forces and he's like, hello, I'm like, we
- 58:59Speaker 1: know ann I and and whatever her name is told
- 59:02Speaker 1: you that Arian is not there, So.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Well, what was he expecting a party?
- 59:06Speaker 3: Like did he expect everyone to jump out and be like, hello,
- 59:11Speaker 3: welcome back.
- 59:12Speaker 1: You know productions there, so somebody could have said hi back,
- 59:15Speaker 1: like there's you're not walking into a pitch black house
- 59:18Speaker 1: with no humans there, like there's humans. Yeah, but either way,
- 59:23Speaker 1: then we see teasers for this upcoming rest of the season, which,
- 59:26Speaker 1: how do you think it looks?
- 59:27Speaker 2: I think it looks pretty good. It looks good, well
- 59:29Speaker 2: the whole like Thrupple looked good. That's interesting.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That's I mean, I think we're gonna see more dating
- 59:36Speaker 1: for Sandoval, Tom and Ariana will still be hanging out
- 59:39Speaker 1: in the same circle.
- 59:40Speaker 2: An unnamed girl.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Kissing both Schwartz and Katie.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Who do you think she's? Who would you fall for
- 59:46Speaker 2: Katie or Schwartz?
- 59:47Speaker 1: Oh?
- 59:47Speaker 2: Man, that's a tough one.
- 59:48Speaker 3: I guess Katie shorts shorts shorts shwarts is not my type.
- 59:54Speaker 1: Well, hold on, what did Lalla call him or who
- 59:57Speaker 1: was it? She said, you're like dad Bodh Kendall. Then
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Arianna asked her boyfriend Dan and moved to California and
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: he's not on board. Sandoval saying that he's still in
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: love still may be in love with Rachel Dunda Dunda
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: da Well, guys, that's all we've got for today, but
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: we will be back next week to pop off on
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: more on more things. Yeah, on all the things, and
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: we're going to do even more research.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: And sounds like a plan. Thanks for tuning in, guys,
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: all right, thank you,
