  Speaker 1: Four today's word you still fit the call, you steal

  Speaker 1: fit the call look five, eight, and then ten says.

  Speaker 1: When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus's knees

  Speaker 1: and said, go away from me, Lord, I'm a sinful man.

  Speaker 1: Then Jesus said to Simon, don't be afraid. From now

  Speaker 1: on you will fish for people. You know the moment
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: Simon Peter truly recognized who Jesus was, he didn't feel worthy,

  Speaker 1: he felt exposed. His first instinct wasn't to draw closer,
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: but to push Jesus away. Lord, I'm not the one.

  Speaker 1: I'm too flawed, too rough around the edges, too aware
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: of my own failures. And yet, in that very moment,

  Speaker 1: when Peter felt least qualified, Jesus See, that's the part

  Speaker 1: we often miss. Jesus didn't wait for Peter to get
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: it all together. He didn't say clean yourself up then
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: come follow me. No, he met Peter in the middle
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: of his insecurity, in the middle of his doubt, in
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: the middle of his imperfection, and said, you're the one
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: I choose.

  Speaker 2: Jesus could have.

  Speaker 1: Selected someone more polished, more educated, and more well connected,
• 1:24
  Speaker 1: someone with a flawless reputation and a religious training.

  Speaker 2: But he didn't.

  Speaker 1: He chose a fisherman, impulsive, imperfect, and still growing.

  Speaker 2: Why Because Jesus doesn't.

  Speaker 1: Call the qualified, he qualifies the call Come, Oh, Jesus.

  Speaker 1: And the same is true for me and you. You
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: may look at your life and see what's missing. You
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: may replay your mistakes, your setbacks, your shortcomings. You may
• 1:51
  Speaker 1: feel like you don't measure up, that you're not talented enough,
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: you're not strong enough, you're not spiritual enough. But God
• 1:58
  Speaker 1: is not measure during you by your flowers. He's calling
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: you by your purpose. You are not an afterthought. You
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: are handpicked by the creator of the universe. The very
• 2:12
  Speaker 1: fact that he chose you means is already placed something
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: powerful on the inside of you. You've been equipped, even
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: if you don't feel it yet. You've been empowered, even
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: if you haven't stepped into it yet. You've been anointed,
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: even if you're still discovering what that looks like. Peter
• 2:30
  Speaker 1: didn't come because he didn't become a leader in the
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: early Church because he was perfect.

  Speaker 2: No, he became who God called him.

  Speaker 1: To be because he said yes, even while he was
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: still a work in progress. And that's your invitation today.

  Speaker 1: Stop disqualifying yourself for what God has already qualified you for.
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: Stop shrinking back because of what you think you like. Instead,
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: lean into what God says about you. You are a
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: master peace and motion. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

  Speaker 1: You're shaped with intention, You're destined with purpose. You don't
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: have to be perfect to be a perfect fit for
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: God's plan. So rise up, step forward, walk boldly into
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: your calling, because the same God who called Peter is
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: calling you, and he never makes mistakes. Oh Father, thank
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: you that you don't want perfection. You call us just
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: like we are. Thank you that you see purpose in
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: us even when we see flowers. Help us to silence
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: the voices of doubt and step confidently into the calling
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: you placed on our lives.
• 3:36
  Speaker 2: God, we choose how to trust you. God.
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: We trust that you are equipping us, empowering us, and
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: shaping us into who we're meant to be. Oh God,

  Speaker 1: we declare that we are chosen, we are called, and
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: we are covered in Jesus' name. Hey, that's your word

  Speaker 1: for today. Take it apply to your everyday life, and

  Speaker 1: you continue to be encouraged and inspired on your early
