- 0:04Speaker 1: guys for seeing something in me. But at the end
- 0:06Speaker 1: of the day, MASSI is the one that has to
- 0:08Speaker 1: get on that line, execute it, do it, and really
- 0:11Speaker 1: not talk about it, but really do it.
- 0:27Speaker 2: What's shaking everyone?

- 0:44Speaker 3: This week, I am giddy to sit back down with
- 0:48Speaker 3: the absolute powerhouse that is Messiah Russell. We recorded this
- 0:53Speaker 3: interview together over at Nike's global headquarters just last week,
- 0:58Speaker 3: brush off of her mind blowing twelve fourteen, the second
- 1:02Speaker 3: fastest one hundred meter hurdle time in history.
- 1:07Speaker 2: But the momentum did not stop.
- 1:09Speaker 3: There, because just this past weekend she went out and
- 1:11Speaker 3: completely dominated one hundred meter hurdles of the pre Classic,
- 1:15Speaker 3: matching the meat record with a stellar time of twelve
- 1:19Speaker 3: twenty four. I always love the chance to sit down
- 1:22Speaker 3: with Massi. We first talked for the show. I'll link
- 1:25Speaker 3: that episode in the show notes. Last October, leading up
- 1:28Speaker 3: to the New York City Marathon, she was in town.
- 1:31Speaker 3: It was a vibe, and of course this conversation no
- 1:36Speaker 3: shortage of inspiration from this legend. We talk about the
- 1:40Speaker 3: difference between having confidence and being cocky. We talk about
- 1:44Speaker 3: how she gets.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Her mind right when there are so.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Many expectations based on her stellar recent performances, and how
- 1:53Speaker 3: it feels to be in contention for a world record.
- 1:57Speaker 3: It's only a matter of time, she says, and that
- 2:00Speaker 3: is what makes me so excited. It's her relentless pursuit
- 2:04Speaker 3: of her greatness, her confident attitude. This was one of
- 2:08Speaker 3: those conversations that I felt like a better version of
- 2:12Speaker 3: myself after we were done, going into the rest of
- 2:15Speaker 3: my day, and I hope that.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You feel the same way.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Speaking of being at Nike's headquarters, I do have an
- 2:22Speaker 3: exciting thing to tease here. I've been helping my good
- 2:25Speaker 3: friend coach Chris Bennett over on his podcast, The Coach
- 2:30Speaker 3: Bennett Podcast.
- 2:31Speaker 2: For the rest of.
- 2:32Speaker 3: The year, Coach b is going to be offering up
- 2:34Speaker 3: his podcast featuring stellar women's voices from around the world
- 2:39Speaker 3: as a part of a special after Dark Tour series
- 2:42Speaker 3: celebrating the race, and I have the good fortune of
- 2:45Speaker 3: helping produce it. I'm actually in the first episode of
- 2:49Speaker 3: the series, which.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Goes live today, So beyond me.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Lookout for that, listen wherever you listen to this podcast,
- 2:56Speaker 3: and a huge shout out to the entire phenomenal team
- 3:00Speaker 3: that has been putting the work in behind the scenes
- 3:02Speaker 3: over on that Bennett Kelsey, Aaron Alyssa.
- 3:06Speaker 2: This has been a joy.
- 3:08Speaker 3: I am honored to be a woman working in sport
- 3:12Speaker 3: right now. I am so excited to continue to elevate
- 3:15Speaker 3: and uplift her voice around the world, and so I
- 3:19Speaker 3: will continue to do it.

- 3:52Speaker 3: And with that, let's get to it. Let's get it's
- 3:56Speaker 3: a hurdling today. I am sitting down with Massih Russell.
- 4:09Speaker 3: She's an Olympic champion. Her reputation precedes her. Welcome back
- 4:12Speaker 3: to hurdles to the SAI. How are we doing.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I'm good, I'm amazing.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I'm amazing.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Happy to be here, happy to be here. We are
- 4:19Speaker 3: at p h K right now, the proper name for Nikes.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, oh yeah, we're here.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I know I just asked you how you're doing.
- 4:32Speaker 2: But how are you doing? Really? We're a few days
- 4:34Speaker 2: out from PRE.
- 4:35Speaker 3: This is gonna go live shortly after PRE, so how
- 4:38Speaker 3: are you doing really right now?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Yeah? I'm doing really really well.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I mean, of course, at this very moment, I've had
- 4:45Speaker 1: a really really early start this morning. But yeah, to
- 4:48Speaker 1: be here, to make you here, to be present, I'm happy.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm blessing. You know, organ is not close, so I'm
- 4:55Speaker 1: just happy to be here.
- 4:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Are you someone that struggles with the jet lag like
- 4:59Speaker 3: I struggle with the jet lag because I'm coming from
- 5:01Speaker 3: New York, you're coming from Kentucky.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, Yeah, I don't struggle too too bad.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I just like to get in two days before I
- 5:06Speaker 1: compete so I can just like chill walk around, like
- 5:09Speaker 1: not even think about the race, just free flowing and
- 5:13Speaker 1: just existing. So no, I don't really And I actually
- 5:16Speaker 1: like coming to the West Coast because I get to
- 5:18Speaker 1: gain three hours back.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Not mad about that, not mad about that.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Do you actually feel like you're capable of chilling walking
- 5:25Speaker 3: around not thinking about the race two days before the race? Yeah?
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I feel like that's been my strength this year.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Is just like when the race comes, like handle the
- 5:33Speaker 1: race for what it is at that time, but like
- 5:36Speaker 1: before and after, it's just like I have a life,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you know, I'm a sigh. I like to walk around,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I like to shop, I like to eat, I like
- 5:43Speaker 1: to do all these things. And then when I'm practicing
- 5:44Speaker 1: throughout the week, that doesn't change, and I'm still able
- 5:47Speaker 1: to run fast times in practice. So I'm like, why
- 5:49Speaker 1: does it have to change when you're approaching a competition
- 5:52Speaker 1: two days before or day before? You know?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Yeah, do you feel like you've always been capable of
- 5:58Speaker 3: kind of turning that switch on and off this something
- 6:00Speaker 3: that you said you're a little bit better at now.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I would say, as I'm getting older, and I'm
- 6:05Speaker 1: just like starting to realize, like this is just my job.
- 6:07Speaker 1: You know, like when you go to your job, you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: not like overthinking, you're not trying to change anything. It's
- 6:12Speaker 1: just showing up to do the job that you practice
- 6:14Speaker 1: and do every day. So I feel like, like I said,
- 6:17Speaker 1: as I've gotten older, I've definitely started to pick that
- 6:20Speaker 1: up more and more, and Yeah, I'm starting to love
- 6:23Speaker 1: it because it just has made track more enjoyable. It's
- 6:26Speaker 1: made my life more less stressful, not more stressful, less stressful,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and I'm able to just like be calm and free.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It's really special to hear you talk about it that way, firstly,
- 6:37Speaker 3: because a lot of people don't feel that way about
- 6:39Speaker 3: their job. They're not like, oh my god, how exciting
- 6:41Speaker 3: that I get to go do my job to day.
- 6:43Speaker 3: And you have found so much success in your job
- 6:48Speaker 3: in relatively a short amount of time. So it's like
- 6:51Speaker 3: you're on this upward trajectory and you're still able to
- 6:55Speaker 3: find the common that that's rare.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Yeah, no one hundred percent.
- 6:58Speaker 1: So that's why I feel like as I get older
- 7:01Speaker 1: every year, I feel like I learned. I feel like
- 7:03Speaker 1: I only get better, I only accomplish more, I only
- 7:05Speaker 1: learn more about myself. So you know, it is like
- 7:09Speaker 1: a strength that.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I've picked up. And like you said, a lot of
- 7:13Speaker 4: people don't love their jobs.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But I'm like, if I'm going to be doing this,
- 7:15Speaker 1: especially for the next couple of years, you know, by
- 7:18Speaker 1: the grace of God, I have to find the join it.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I can't be stressed, I can't be nervous. I can't
- 7:24Speaker 1: just get all rouled up over nothing. Like I know
- 7:26Speaker 1: how to hurdle, I know how to compete.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I know who I am. So it's like, go out
- 7:30Speaker 4: there and be you.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I love it. Go out there and be U.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yes, speaking of knowing how to compete, you've been doing
- 7:34Speaker 3: it quite well, like I said, ye as of late
- 7:37Speaker 3: that twelve one four, How are we feeling because that
- 7:40Speaker 3: happens since the last time that I saw you.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I know it's actually insane, but I mean it's
- 7:46Speaker 1: everything that I would have expected anymore.
- 7:48Speaker 4: So it's not surprising. I know that there's more in
- 7:51Speaker 4: the tank.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I know what I was doing and training before that race,
- 7:54Speaker 1: So for me to even like think about the numbers
- 7:58Speaker 1: that I'm going to reach, the numbers that I'm going
- 7:59Speaker 1: to run, and I don't even want to put a
- 8:01Speaker 1: number on it because I honestly don't even know what
- 8:03Speaker 1: I'm capable of at this point.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I love about you is there
- 8:08Speaker 3: is such a distinct difference between knowing who you are,
- 8:11Speaker 3: knowing what you're capable of, and being what you're not,
- 8:14Speaker 3: which is cocky. Yeah, and you walk up to that
- 8:18Speaker 3: start and you are very sure of what you bring
- 8:21Speaker 3: to the table.
- 8:22Speaker 2: A lot of people struggle with that.
- 8:24Speaker 3: How have you gotten too this place where you can
- 8:27Speaker 3: separate the two, so between being cocky and then also
- 8:30Speaker 3: knowing what you bring to the table and then showing
- 8:32Speaker 3: up with that confidence.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like in high school, I actually struggle
- 8:36Speaker 1: with this a lot because people were always like trying
- 8:39Speaker 1: to tell me that I was cocky. But I've never
- 8:41Speaker 1: seen that or like felt that way about myself. And
- 8:44Speaker 1: you know, I think it's just high school, you know,
- 8:45Speaker 1: like people not really understanding the definition of like what
- 8:49Speaker 1: Kaki is versus confidence. Like I've always had an im
- 8:52Speaker 1: missed level of confidence about me but I've also been
- 8:55Speaker 1: able to be a very tangible person. People can resonate
- 8:59Speaker 1: with my story in they not see it in a
- 9:01Speaker 1: cocky light, you know.
- 9:02Speaker 4: So I think for me, I mean, the way that
- 9:05Speaker 4: I view.
- 9:05Speaker 1: It is that I have had very humble beginnings. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: have not come from a winning background. I have had
- 9:11Speaker 1: to work for everything that I've gotten, which is why
- 9:13Speaker 1: I think that my audience and the people that follow me,
- 9:17Speaker 1: they're so you know my I feel like my my
- 9:20Speaker 1: fan base is so tight knit because of the confidence
- 9:23Speaker 1: that I zoo. But it's also in a way that
- 9:25Speaker 1: I'm so sure about myself, and it's also confidence in
- 9:28Speaker 1: the work that I put in, in all the hardships,
- 9:31Speaker 1: all the doubt, everything that has gone into it.
- 9:33Speaker 4: So it's not like, oh, I think I'm better than anybody.
- 9:36Speaker 1: It's I respect everybody, but I also know that I'm
- 9:39Speaker 1: just as great as everybody, if not the best out
- 9:43Speaker 1: there on the line.
- 9:44Speaker 3: If not the best. So let's talk a little bit
- 9:47Speaker 3: about that. How do you navigate the pressure that comes
- 9:51Speaker 3: with going into let's say a meat like pre How
- 9:54Speaker 3: do you speak to yourself leading up to a big
- 9:57Speaker 3: moment like that.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think last year, after the Olympics. It kind
- 10:01Speaker 1: of prepared me for where I'm at now, like twenty
- 10:04Speaker 1: twenty five. Like after the Olympics, it was like a
- 10:06Speaker 1: learning curve. It was all right, you're coming back into
- 10:08Speaker 1: the season as the Olympic champion. I didn't know what
- 10:11Speaker 1: that entailed. I didn't know what that looked like. I
- 10:12Speaker 1: didn't know what that felt like. I was confused when
- 10:15Speaker 1: I was going to the track and all these cameras
- 10:16Speaker 1: were on me, I'm like, oh, like, y'all are really
- 10:18Speaker 1: expecting for me to do something like I'm the Olympic Champion,
- 10:21Speaker 1: But in my mind, I'm still the same person. Well
- 10:24Speaker 1: I was the same person, but I'm still not MISSI
- 10:26Speaker 1: Ross to the Olympic champion. In my mind, I'm still
- 10:28Speaker 1: just Missi Russell with no accolades, know anything. So when
- 10:31Speaker 1: everyone one was putting all these expectations on me, I
- 10:34Speaker 1: was like, oh.
- 10:35Speaker 4: This is a different realm, you know, So I think
- 10:38Speaker 4: I had to learn what that looked like.
- 10:41Speaker 2: What did it look like it looked like?
- 10:43Speaker 1: For one surprisingly a lot of doubt. I was doubting
- 10:46Speaker 1: myself a lot. I'm like, okay, I have this title,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I'm expected to do what everyone expects of me. But
- 10:53Speaker 1: if I don't live up to that, then I feel
- 10:54Speaker 1: like I have no worth at all. And no one
- 10:57Speaker 1: should ever feel like that, regardless of if you've good
- 11:00Speaker 1: or not, Like no one could ever take away me
- 11:02Speaker 1: winning the Olympics ever, like that's setting stuff in history forever. So,
- 11:07Speaker 1: you know, it just looked a little different like last year.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It was just like I said, it was a learning curve.
- 11:11Speaker 1: It was just different. It was a different realm. It
- 11:13Speaker 1: was just it was a new space. And for me,
- 11:16Speaker 1: I also learned that my whole entire track career, I
- 11:19Speaker 1: was in the chase. I was the one trying to
- 11:22Speaker 1: get to the top spot. I was the underdog. So
- 11:24Speaker 1: I still kind of had that underdog mentality when I
- 11:27Speaker 1: already had won. I'm like, I am the reigning Olympic champion.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I have run twelve one twice. So now I had
- 11:33Speaker 1: to take a step back after the season last year
- 11:36Speaker 1: and realize I'm not the underdog no more, like I'm
- 11:38Speaker 1: the one who people are trying to get.
- 11:40Speaker 4: So my mindset has to shift.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And of course I didn't realize that because I've approached
- 11:46Speaker 1: track with that mindset my whole entire career. So That's
- 11:49Speaker 1: why I feel like, now, like I said, I'm learning
- 11:52Speaker 1: and we're starting to see the payoff of you know,
- 11:56Speaker 1: putting in that work, understanding who I am, changing my
- 11:58Speaker 1: mindset of like you're not the underdog no more. You're
- 12:01Speaker 1: you're the one. You're massy russel, you are talented, you're great.
- 12:05Speaker 1: You put the work in and that's the only thing
- 12:07Speaker 1: that you have to have confidence in. So that's why
- 12:09Speaker 1: I feel like once I get to the line, like
- 12:11Speaker 1: once I get to these meats, once I approach these races,
- 12:13Speaker 1: it's not a difference. It's just just do you be
- 12:17Speaker 1: who you know you are? Yeah, And it's just to
- 12:19Speaker 1: go out there and compete and be the best competitor
- 12:21Speaker 1: that I.
- 12:21Speaker 4: Know I can be.
- 12:22Speaker 3: It's so funny because it's like when you aren't on top,
- 12:26Speaker 3: you feel like you have less to lose, and then
- 12:28Speaker 3: you have this big moment where you come out the
- 12:31Speaker 3: champion and it's like, shoot, like here I am having
- 12:35Speaker 3: all of this doubt when you just showed yourself exactly
- 12:39Speaker 3: what you're capable of, which is so ironic and it's
- 12:42Speaker 3: so relatable, Like yeah, it's like it's almost scary.
- 12:45Speaker 4: To do the thing that you set out to do
- 12:47Speaker 4: no one hundred percent.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You said it so plainly, like it's it's almost like
- 12:51Speaker 1: a like a reverse psychology kind of thing, like when
- 12:53Speaker 1: you win, it's like now you feel like you have
- 12:56Speaker 1: way more to lose, and then when you're not, you're
- 12:59Speaker 1: just like kind of existing. Like and that's what that
- 13:02Speaker 1: was another thing that kind of like shifted in my
- 13:04Speaker 1: mindset where it's like now that I want, I feel
- 13:06Speaker 1: like I can't mess up.
- 13:07Speaker 4: I feel like I can't lose. I feel like I
- 13:10Speaker 4: can't have a bad.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Day, Whereas before anyone was paying any attention to me,
- 13:14Speaker 1: it's like, oh, I can have a bad day, and
- 13:16Speaker 1: you know, it could sweep under the rug. But I
- 13:18Speaker 1: feel like once you hone in on why you are
- 13:21Speaker 1: in the position that you're in and why you are
- 13:23Speaker 1: the person that you are, and once you just like
- 13:26Speaker 1: change your perspective on it, I think that that's where
- 13:28Speaker 1: you know, true legacy starts to be built. I feel
- 13:32Speaker 1: like that's where everything just starts to change because I
- 13:36Speaker 1: feel like I kind of steered away from the competition.
- 13:39Speaker 4: I kind of steered away from wanting to be in
- 13:40Speaker 4: the spotlight.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I wanted to and not I mean, of course, I
- 13:44Speaker 1: didn't like display that, but I didn't want the attention
- 13:47Speaker 1: to be on me when I was going to racist.
- 13:49Speaker 4: But now I like I kind of feed off of that.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm like, you know, people are expecting from me to
- 13:54Speaker 1: run fast, people are expecting these things to me.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna give them a show. Like that's my mindset.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It's like like I feel like sometimes like us as humans,
- 14:02Speaker 1: like we just like take the negative outlook or we
- 14:05Speaker 1: take the safe outlook because we're scared to step into
- 14:08Speaker 1: like what we're really meant to do. But sometimes it's like,
- 14:11Speaker 1: you know, you can only respect somebody trying. Like, the
- 14:15Speaker 1: first thing you got to do is try. The first
- 14:17Speaker 1: thing you have to do is step into who you are.
- 14:19Speaker 1: And then I feel like once you can trust yourself
- 14:21Speaker 1: to step into what you can do and you show
- 14:23Speaker 1: yourself that you're able to do it, that's where I
- 14:26Speaker 1: feel like it's just open game.
- 14:28Speaker 3: The hitters are the people that aren't even willing to try.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Oh absolutely, It's like the people sitting on the couch.
- 14:34Speaker 3: They're sitting on the couch, they're not getting out there,
- 14:36Speaker 3: they're not putting themselves out there.
- 14:38Speaker 2: And here you are showing up and you're doing it
- 14:39Speaker 2: the best that you can.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Speaking of the best, speaking of good, when you have
- 14:44Speaker 3: a good practice, when you have a good effort, Describe
- 14:48Speaker 3: how that feels to me.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I mean, it really feels amazing, because I mean, I
- 14:52Speaker 1: put so much work into my craft, so I don't.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I don't want to say I don't really have bad
- 14:56Speaker 1: days anymore.
- 14:57Speaker 4: But I'm so detail oriented.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I pay so much attention to like how I'm striking
- 15:03Speaker 1: the hurdle, how I'm striking the ground, what I'm doing,
- 15:05Speaker 1: So like I feel like I've I'm now sharpening.
- 15:11Speaker 4: This statue of like just greatness.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So like I feel like when I was younger, when
- 15:15Speaker 1: I was first starting to learn how to hurdle, like
- 15:17Speaker 1: even my freshman year in college, like I was still
- 15:19Speaker 1: learning how to like really hurdle because I started as
- 15:21Speaker 1: a four hundred hurdler, you know, I was like, I
- 15:23Speaker 1: never seen it as a bad day because it's like
- 15:25Speaker 1: it's always a day to grow.
- 15:27Speaker 4: So I don't.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I haven't had a bad day in a long time
- 15:30Speaker 1: where I'm like disappointed, but like those good days, Like
- 15:33Speaker 1: I mean, honestly, every time I leave the track, I
- 15:35Speaker 1: just know that I've done everything that I can, and
- 15:37Speaker 1: it leaves me with the smile on my face because
- 15:40Speaker 1: I mean, I can't go no harder than what I'm
- 15:42Speaker 1: doing right now. So it's like the only thing I
- 15:43Speaker 1: can do is sleep good at night, trust what I
- 15:46Speaker 1: put into this, and let the results speak for themselves.
- 16:07Speaker 3: There's so much power in the perspective that you're choosing. Yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 3: there is so much power in the perspective that you're choosing,
- 16:14Speaker 3: which is I don't have bad days, right. You're speaking
- 16:18Speaker 3: that into existence, you are speaking it to be. Maybe
- 16:23Speaker 3: not everything is going to go always as I would hope. However,
- 16:27Speaker 3: I am willing to give it everything I can each
- 16:29Speaker 3: and every time that I show up, and by doing that,
- 16:32Speaker 3: I don't have bad days again. So many people struggle
- 16:37Speaker 3: with seeing that side of the coin, with seeing missed
- 16:41Speaker 3: opportunity maybe or things not going as they'd hoped as
- 16:44Speaker 3: something that is happening for them. Was there a specific
- 16:48Speaker 3: moment where you realize that there could be so much
- 16:51Speaker 3: power in this positive perspective.
- 16:54Speaker 4: I think for me, I started to change my perspective
- 16:58Speaker 4: just on life.
- 16:59Speaker 1: My last year in college, all my friends were going
- 17:03Speaker 1: pro all my friends were at the World Championships. I
- 17:06Speaker 1: honestly don't even know what I was thinking about when
- 17:08Speaker 1: I was competing, like my first four years, Like I
- 17:10Speaker 1: don't even know what my mindset was.
- 17:11Speaker 4: I feel like I was just kind of existing.
- 17:13Speaker 1: But then I think once I kind of locked into
- 17:16Speaker 1: the mindset, locked into the perspective that I took to
- 17:20Speaker 1: track that I took on myself, I think that that's
- 17:24Speaker 1: where like the major shift started to occur because I
- 17:26Speaker 1: started to just.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Be aware of my thoughts.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I was aware of what I was, what I was thinking,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and how I wanted to be perceived, how I wanted
- 17:36Speaker 1: to be, Like I just kind of was just existing,
- 17:38Speaker 1: like I wasn't even thinking. So then once I started
- 17:41Speaker 1: to put more effort into speaking, speaking, positive speaking life,
- 17:46Speaker 1: writing down my goals, doing all these things to just see,
- 17:49Speaker 1: like you know, you never know what could come out
- 17:52Speaker 1: of it until you try once again, Like if you try,
- 17:57Speaker 1: like you've already won half the battle, and you saw
- 18:01Speaker 1: a profound chef, And I saw an immense shift, like
- 18:05Speaker 1: it was insane, Like at that year, I broke the
- 18:08Speaker 1: collegiate record indoor and outdoor.
- 18:11Speaker 4: We're in twelve thirty six.
- 18:12Speaker 1: My best at that time was twelve seventy one, and
- 18:15Speaker 1: then I'll ropped from twelve to seventy one to twelve
- 18:17Speaker 1: thirty six, and yeah, it was just crazy. So I
- 18:19Speaker 1: feel like when you just lock into who you are,
- 18:22Speaker 1: lock into your thoughts, understand that all thoughts aren't bad thoughts,
- 18:26Speaker 1: that your thoughts are just your thoughts and what you
- 18:28Speaker 1: put flesh into or what you put life into, that's
- 18:32Speaker 1: the reality that you'll get out of it. But like, like,
- 18:35Speaker 1: quiet your brain down. Sometimes it'll tell you things that
- 18:37Speaker 1: like aren't true, Like you're the one that can decide
- 18:40Speaker 1: what is true. Not a thought of negativity coming in
- 18:44Speaker 1: your mind, It doesn't have anything to do with you.
- 18:46Speaker 1: It's like, are you gonna receive that and believe that
- 18:49Speaker 1: or are you gonna like, no, this is my reality
- 18:51Speaker 1: and this is what I'm gonna do.
- 18:52Speaker 3: Yeah, you get to decide why you respond to your thoughts.
- 18:55Speaker 3: You mentioned going from twelve seven at twelve three a
- 18:58Speaker 3: lot different than you going from twelve one four to
- 19:01Speaker 3: twelve one.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Too.
- 19:01Speaker 3: When we're talking about gains and improvements that are so microscopic,
- 19:07Speaker 3: you've got to dial in really on your strengths physically,
- 19:11Speaker 3: what would you say those hundredths of a second, where
- 19:15Speaker 3: are those coming from for you right now.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I think for me, the biggest thing is just
- 19:19Speaker 1: gonna come from just reacting from the ground and yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 1: just powering through the finish line.
- 19:26Speaker 4: I ran a really like clean race.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I still don't feel like I was like one hundred
- 19:30Speaker 1: percent press all the way to the finish line when
- 19:32Speaker 1: I ran my twelve fourteen, And like I was saying earlier,
- 19:35Speaker 1: like where I was at in training was like not
- 19:38Speaker 1: really conducive for a twelve fourteen, which was really impressive
- 19:42Speaker 1: to me. So I know, like what we've done this week,
- 19:46Speaker 1: you know, just kind of like backing off just a
- 19:47Speaker 1: little bit. You know, we still have a long season,
- 19:50Speaker 1: but yeah, just getting prepared for this weekend has been
- 19:52Speaker 1: fun because it's just like like I told you, like
- 19:54Speaker 1: I don't I don't even know what I'm capable of.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I'm not putting a number on it. I've heard a
- 19:58Speaker 1: lot of people putting numbers on like what they believe
- 20:00Speaker 1: that I can do. So I'm like I received that.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I received that once again. I'm not like shutting it down.
- 20:05Speaker 1: I'm not like not stepping into what people see of me.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Like it's a blessing for people to be like, oh,
- 20:10Speaker 1: you're gonna break the wor record, You're gonna do this,
- 20:11Speaker 1: You're gonna do that, Like and I've been saying it
- 20:12Speaker 1: for a long time.
- 20:13Speaker 2: And pressure is a privilege.
- 20:15Speaker 4: Yeah, And I think I told you that when we
- 20:17Speaker 4: talked the first time.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And like I said last year, when I was going
- 20:21Speaker 1: into World Championships, like everyone expected for me to win,
- 20:24Speaker 1: like I didn't really understand how to like navigate that.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I didn't.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I feel like I put what everyone else thought of
- 20:29Speaker 1: me on my plate in my mind. So like you know,
- 20:33Speaker 1: of course, like people telling me I'm gonna bak the
- 20:34Speaker 1: war record, I'm just like at the end of the day,
- 20:36Speaker 1: like I have to do it.
- 20:36Speaker 4: At the end of the day.
- 20:37Speaker 1: I have to compete at the end of the day
- 20:39Speaker 1: when that gun goes off, like what everyone else says,
- 20:41Speaker 1: like none of that matters, Like, of course, thank you
- 20:43Speaker 1: guys for seeing something in me. But at the end
- 20:45Speaker 1: of the day, Massa is the one that has to
- 20:47Speaker 1: get on that line, execute it, do it, and really
- 20:50Speaker 1: not talk about it, but really do it. So yeah,
- 20:53Speaker 1: it's not about really like impressing the world. It's just
- 20:56Speaker 1: like show a mess out who I believe that I am.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, say, we're quantifying your speed here by
- 21:02Speaker 3: the time that you cross that line. But when you
- 21:04Speaker 3: think about what speed feels like, what speed means to you,
- 21:09Speaker 3: tell me what comes up.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I think the main thing that comes up to me
- 21:12Speaker 1: when I think about speed is just like being free,
- 21:15Speaker 1: being light, like just flowing in the wind. And yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: just like it's just effortless, you know, just like feeling
- 21:22Speaker 1: just feeling light, feeling effortless, and just doing what I'm
- 21:26Speaker 1: meant to do. I feel like I've always I've always
- 21:28Speaker 1: raced boys, I've always raced against my brothers, I've always
- 21:32Speaker 1: beat people in field day.
- 21:33Speaker 4: I was just looking at the kids and at the field.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Day, I'm like, wow, like this is a great time,
- 21:37Speaker 1: Like and I feel like it's just pure to what
- 21:40Speaker 1: we've all done growing up. Like everyone wants to race,
- 21:42Speaker 1: everyone wants to see who's the fastest. So the fact
- 21:45Speaker 1: that now I'm able to translate my speed to the track,
- 21:47Speaker 1: translate what I've done as a kid to a profession
- 21:50Speaker 1: to change the world, to change lives, it's truly, truly,
- 21:54Speaker 1: truly like been an honor. Like when I think about it,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I can honestly get emotional because who I am now
- 22:00Speaker 1: was like who I used to look up to.
- 22:01Speaker 4: So it's really an honor.
- 22:03Speaker 2: It's it's so.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Cool, and I get goosebumps as you talk about it,
- 22:06Speaker 3: because thinking about a younger you, we all think about
- 22:09Speaker 3: that person. We all do things as we come into
- 22:11Speaker 3: this adulthood where we're doing things that our younger self
- 22:14Speaker 3: would be proud of.
- 22:15Speaker 2: And what is so special sometimes is when.
- 22:18Speaker 3: You realize that you're not living the life that you
- 22:21Speaker 3: dreamed of, because now you're doing things that you never
- 22:24Speaker 3: could have even aspired to. Like you, as a young girl,
- 22:27Speaker 3: never thought I'm going to break a world record in
- 22:29Speaker 3: the one hundred meter hurdles. O.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Never like, I mean, my biggest goal is like literally
- 22:34Speaker 1: just to make the Olympics, like and I don't I
- 22:36Speaker 1: didn't care however that looked.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I'm like, I just want to be an Olympian. And
- 22:39Speaker 4: you could have you could be in speed skating, yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 4: like in that could right, I didn't know what that
- 22:43Speaker 4: would look like.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I just wanted to be an Olympian, but like, okay,
- 22:46Speaker 1: to become an Olympian, but then also when the Olympics,
- 22:49Speaker 1: then to also become the American record holder, then to
- 22:52Speaker 1: also become All Diamond League record holder, US Child's record holder,
- 22:57Speaker 1: Like all.
- 22:57Speaker 4: These things, I'm just like, whoa like?
- 22:59Speaker 1: I didn't think that this is like all in the plan,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you know, So it's surely a blessing as always, So
- 23:04Speaker 1: people like just keep dreaming, keep believing, keep trusting in yourself,
- 23:07Speaker 1: Like you have to be your own biggest cheerleader. You
- 23:10Speaker 1: have to believe in yourself, and you just have to
- 23:14Speaker 1: have like yourself surrounded by good people. If you're not
- 23:16Speaker 1: surrounded by the right people, the people who you're around
- 23:18Speaker 1: can really determine who you become.
- 23:20Speaker 2: It's so true.
- 23:21Speaker 3: And for you, with again all of these eyes on you,
- 23:24Speaker 3: it becomes of the utmost importance for you.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Just stay in your own lane.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Obviously there's a pun there about being on the track,
- 23:31Speaker 3: But for you, how do you keep the blinders on?
- 23:35Speaker 3: How do you focus on the thoughts that MESSI has
- 23:38Speaker 3: instead of what you're hearing all around you, the times
- 23:41Speaker 3: that people are projecting.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that sort of thing.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it just always will go back to,
- 23:45Speaker 1: like my training, It'll always go back to what I
- 23:48Speaker 1: practice in just the confidence that I've that I have
- 23:51Speaker 1: in the work that I put in. This year, I
- 23:53Speaker 1: put in work every year, like that's one thing that
- 23:56Speaker 1: like no one has to worry about with me. But
- 23:58Speaker 1: like this year, I feel like it's been more strategic,
- 24:00Speaker 1: it's been more consistent. I've always been able to run
- 24:03Speaker 1: fast times, but sometimes it'll look like this, sometimes it
- 24:05Speaker 1: look like that.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Sometimes it'll be inconsistent for me.
- 24:08Speaker 1: This year, for like, the consistency and my training, the
- 24:11Speaker 1: consistency and the attention to detail has made the biggest
- 24:15Speaker 1: difference in how I approach competition, because.
- 24:18Speaker 4: It's not what is it going to be, It's just
- 24:20Speaker 4: it's another day.
- 24:21Speaker 1: It's another day, same ten hurdles, maybe a different race,
- 24:25Speaker 1: maybe a different field, but the hurdles stay the same.
- 24:28Speaker 4: I stay the same. Nothing really changes.
- 24:30Speaker 1: It's just about showing up and executing and once again
- 24:34Speaker 1: keeping those blinders on like you said, and I mean
- 24:38Speaker 1: like I will continue to go back to like last year,
- 24:40Speaker 1: just prepare me for where I'm at. You know, sometimes
- 24:42Speaker 1: we don't always understand why we go through the things
- 24:44Speaker 1: that we go through, you know, coming up short at
- 24:46Speaker 1: the World Championships, coming forth, like sometimes those things don't
- 24:50Speaker 1: make sense. But then like when you get down the
- 24:52Speaker 1: road and when you look at where you're headed and
- 24:53Speaker 1: where you're going and what you've accomplished. It's like, Okay,
- 24:55Speaker 1: I had to have that loss. I had to have
- 24:57Speaker 1: that experience to get to where I'm at now. So
- 25:00Speaker 1: every that's why I say I feel like I would
- 25:01Speaker 1: never lose, like I will literally, Yeah, statistically I may lose,
- 25:05Speaker 1: but everything from a loss, I always take it as
- 25:08Speaker 1: a lesson to just set me up for where I'm at,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and I continue to like just shock myself because I'm
- 25:14Speaker 1: just like every single time I feel like I'm doubted.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Every single time I like.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I statistically lose, it's like I always turn it around
- 25:22Speaker 1: for something greater.
- 25:40Speaker 3: You said, it has been really about attention to detail
- 25:44Speaker 3: this time around.
- 25:45Speaker 2: When you say that, give me some of the details.
- 25:47Speaker 2: What are we paying attention?
- 25:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just like really focusing in on my start.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm focusing in on just how I approached the hurdle,
- 25:55Speaker 1: what I'm eating, how much I'm sleeping, Like I was
- 25:57Speaker 1: doing all these things of course last year, but it
- 26:00Speaker 1: just wasn't consistent across the board. Like I was sleeping
- 26:03Speaker 1: really well, but I wasn't eating all the way as
- 26:06Speaker 1: healthy as I could all the time.
- 26:08Speaker 4: You know, I had some pizza earlier. But hey, you know,
- 26:10Speaker 4: you gotta have a little fun here and there.
- 26:13Speaker 1: But but yeah, like really just being intentional on my
- 26:18Speaker 1: I feel like my block starts like just really focusing
- 26:20Speaker 1: on my start, focusing on being consistent in my start,
- 26:23Speaker 1: my power.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Just like yeah, just being consistent in my blocks, because
- 26:28Speaker 4: I know, for me, once.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I get over the first two hurdles, like I will
- 26:32Speaker 1: always say, even before I had like I feel like
- 26:36Speaker 1: getting close to perfecting my start, I was like, you know,
- 26:38Speaker 1: as long as I get to the first two hurdles,
- 26:39Speaker 1: like I know, a lot of people can't compete with me.
- 26:41Speaker 1: So like now I feel like I'm gotting that on
- 26:43Speaker 1: lock and then like my foot speed, everything is just
- 26:46Speaker 1: like the blocks is just to set up for everything.
- 26:48Speaker 1: So once I get my blocks like consistently the same
- 26:53Speaker 1: every single time, like which I have this year, but
- 26:55Speaker 1: like of course like even more consistency, just still practicing it,
- 26:58Speaker 1: just making sure that it's like ingrained my brain, I
- 27:01Speaker 1: think that that's where we'll see like even crazier time.
- 27:05Speaker 1: So that's why I say I'm not putting a number
- 27:07Speaker 1: on anything. Yeah, a lot of people have putting numbers
- 27:09Speaker 1: on like what they believe what do they say? I mean,
- 27:12Speaker 1: I've heard twelve o seven, twelve o.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Seven some have said some have said twelve o seven.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, some have said twelve oh seven. I've heard sub twelve,
- 27:19Speaker 1: like eleven nine or something.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I can't even take a deep breath in.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, But like you know, when you just
- 27:26Speaker 1: see I mean, I mean I watched an Cuba's and
- 27:29Speaker 1: seeing Jacobe Thart run twelve seventy five, like break the record,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'm like, that doesn't even look right, you know what
- 27:35Speaker 1: I'm saying. So I feel like the people, you know,
- 27:37Speaker 1: when I run sub twelve. Yeah, I've always said that.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I feel like I could be the first woman to
- 27:41Speaker 1: break twelve seconds in the hundred hurdles. It's gonna look
- 27:44Speaker 1: it's gonna look like what the heck, you know, But
- 27:46Speaker 1: then the way the evolution works, it's like it takes
- 27:49Speaker 1: one person and show that it's possible, then everyone else
- 27:52Speaker 1: kind of comes along. So I just want to be
- 27:53Speaker 1: that trailblazer to really pave the way for something that
- 27:57Speaker 1: no one could have ever seen.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure as you were coming up in sport,
- 28:02Speaker 3: there were individuals and other women that you watched and
- 28:05Speaker 3: thought that's exactly who I want to be.
- 28:07Speaker 4: Yeah, no one, That's how I feel about Dawn.
- 28:10Speaker 1: That's how I feel about I Mean, I don't run
- 28:11Speaker 1: the four hundred anymore, but like syn Rache's ross, like
- 28:13Speaker 1: I used to run the four hundred, I'm like, oh,
- 28:14Speaker 1: I want to be like her. I want to win
- 28:16Speaker 1: gold medals at the Olympics. I want to look this
- 28:18Speaker 1: good while doing it, you know, just doing it to
- 28:20Speaker 1: the best, you know. So I feel like, yeah, it's
- 28:24Speaker 1: it's you know, I'm speechless because you just never know,
- 28:29Speaker 1: like what your life will will be when you just
- 28:32Speaker 1: continue to dream and believe.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, and as you continue to dream and believe, you
- 28:36Speaker 3: have a number of tools at your disposal that help
- 28:38Speaker 3: you show up and show out.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I know among those tools the shoes that you're wearing
- 28:43Speaker 2: on the track.
- 28:43Speaker 3: And something that's super interesting to me is that you've
- 28:46Speaker 3: had an opportunity through your work as a Nike athlete
- 28:49Speaker 3: to give feedback and be a part of that feedback loop.
- 28:52Speaker 2: What's that process like for you? I want to touch
- 28:54Speaker 2: on that before I let you go to that.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah. I think for me, I haven't said too too much.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I feel like I'm still like the new you on
- 29:00Speaker 1: the block, like when it comes to Nike. But I
- 29:03Speaker 1: mean anything I've ever asked for, like Nike has you know,
- 29:06Speaker 1: given me the resources, They've been able to support me.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Anytime I ask for a million spikes, they provide me
- 29:11Speaker 1: with that because I feel like I have to have
- 29:13Speaker 1: a new pair of spikes almost every single time I
- 29:15Speaker 1: can pee. So you know, they're just trying to, of course,
- 29:17Speaker 1: make sure that we're able to do our job at
- 29:19Speaker 1: the best that we can possibly do it at. And
- 29:21Speaker 1: I mean even being overseas when you know your luggage
- 29:25Speaker 1: is lost, like people are in place to make sure
- 29:27Speaker 1: that you have that proper support so it never goes unseen.
- 29:30Speaker 1: And I mean I'm always grateful for, you know, my sponsor,
- 29:33Speaker 1: because they make sure that, like I'm comfortable, cozy, and
- 29:36Speaker 1: I'm able to perform at the highest level I can.
- 29:38Speaker 3: You touched on this before, but for you, you often
- 29:42Speaker 3: look in the mirror and it's not like the first
- 29:43Speaker 3: thing that you see is MESSI Russell and Olympic champion,
- 29:46Speaker 3: something that's about to break and putting it into the universe,
- 29:49Speaker 3: the world record for the one hundred meter hurdles. But
- 29:52Speaker 3: someone comes to your Instagram page, and that's who they
- 29:54Speaker 3: see when you look in the mirror, MESSI what is
- 29:56Speaker 3: it that you see looking back at you?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Shoot, I don't even some honestly, I feel like that's why,
- 30:01Speaker 1: like people always say like, I'm so humble, because I
- 30:03Speaker 1: feel like sometimes, which is always a good thing, I
- 30:05Speaker 1: forget who I am. It's like, you know, you gotta
- 30:07Speaker 1: have a fine line, like you got to remember who
- 30:09Speaker 1: you are but also respect everyone that you're around. But
- 30:11Speaker 1: I do think that that's what makes me feel so
- 30:14Speaker 1: tangible to people and so lovable, like like people like
- 30:18Speaker 1: just love me. I mean just love yeah, you know,
- 30:21Speaker 1: like people like and I'm just like every time I
- 30:23Speaker 1: hear how like I've impacted someone's story, I've impacted someone's journey,
- 30:26Speaker 1: I'm always like taking it back because I'm like, I'm
- 30:29Speaker 1: just like existing. I'm just doing what i feel like
- 30:31Speaker 1: i'm called to do. I'm just going to the track.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I'm working hard, I'm being good to people. You know,
- 30:35Speaker 1: I'm doing my part. So then when I see what
- 30:39Speaker 1: I put out come back to me, I'm always like, oh, shoot,
- 30:42Speaker 1: like I forget that, you know, people look up to
- 30:44Speaker 1: me like this, I forget because I'm just like still
- 30:47Speaker 1: locked in on like just being the best me and
- 30:49Speaker 1: it really inspires me. So sometimes for me, when I
- 30:52Speaker 1: look in the mirror, I don't usually see what like
- 30:54Speaker 1: the rest of the world sees. I just see like
- 30:56Speaker 1: someone that really doesn't have anything yet, you know, which
- 30:59Speaker 1: ound's crazy, But it's like I still have things that
- 31:01Speaker 1: I need to accomplish, the still things that I want
- 31:03Speaker 1: to accomplish that I know I will accomplish. To consider
- 31:06Speaker 1: myself one of the goats, one of the greats, one
- 31:08Speaker 1: of the legends in this sport, I have to break
- 31:10Speaker 1: more records. I have to get more medals, I have
- 31:12Speaker 1: to win more Diamond League titles. I have to do
- 31:13Speaker 1: all these things. So for me, of course, for the
- 31:16Speaker 1: rest of the world, it's like, oh, Massa the Goat,
- 31:18Speaker 1: But like to me, it's like MASSI that, yeah, she
- 31:20Speaker 1: won the Olympics, but I'm gonna do it again. I
- 31:23Speaker 1: want to do it again and again and again so
- 31:25Speaker 1: that it can be undeniable of what greatness looks like
- 31:30Speaker 1: and who Massai Russell is, because I feel like a
- 31:32Speaker 1: lot of people downplay who I am sometimes and of
- 31:36Speaker 1: course like I don't do it to like shut people up,
- 31:39Speaker 1: but you know, sometimes you gotta let people remember, like
- 31:42Speaker 1: you know, I'm not I'm not to be played with.
- 31:44Speaker 2: You let it out.
- 31:46Speaker 3: You gotta let them know so you heard it here. First,
- 31:48Speaker 3: we've got a twenty twenty four Olympics. We've got a
- 31:49Speaker 3: twenty twenty eight Olympics. We've got a twenty thirty two Olympics. Besides,
- 31:52Speaker 3: like I'm gonna keep on coming back for more, Well.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I ain't gonna keep coming back. Like you know, if
- 31:57Speaker 1: if it's over, you know, I'm a respect really hang
- 32:00Speaker 1: it up. But I'm saying, at the time where I
- 32:03Speaker 1: am in my prime in quotes, doing my thing, I'm
- 32:07Speaker 1: able to make a difference in this sport. I told myself,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I'm not gonna regret not doing what I know I
- 32:13Speaker 1: could do with this time that I have. Now, I
- 32:15Speaker 1: feel like a lot of people, you know, no knock
- 32:17Speaker 1: to anybody, but I feel like a lot of people
- 32:19Speaker 1: miss out on the time that they have of getting
- 32:21Speaker 1: and then when it's at the end of their career
- 32:23Speaker 1: they're trying to get it back.
- 32:24Speaker 4: It's like, no, like, I have the opportunity, now, I
- 32:27Speaker 4: have what it takes. Now, I have the body, now, I.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Have everything now because I'm not going to be able
- 32:31Speaker 1: to run for the rest of my life, definitely, And
- 32:34Speaker 1: I want to make a difference now, like because what
- 32:37Speaker 1: are we waiting for? It Like saying that we have
- 32:39Speaker 1: tomorrow is like even like it's crazy because you don't
- 32:42Speaker 1: know what tomorrow brains like, make a difference today.
- 32:44Speaker 3: It's just like you said before, Yes, pressure is a privilege,
- 32:47Speaker 3: but also presence is a privilege, and hearing how present
- 32:50Speaker 3: you are and what you have going on right now,
- 32:53Speaker 3: it is what enables you to be so good yes,
- 32:56Speaker 3: at what you do. So final question, right now, you
- 32:59Speaker 3: have an option side to offer yourself a piece of advice.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Let's talk about where you went before, in those moments
- 33:06Speaker 3: where you realize, okay, shoot, I'm an Olympic champion, I'm
- 33:09Speaker 3: showing up. I have a target on my back and
- 33:13Speaker 3: that can feel really overwhelming. But knowing what you know now,
- 33:17Speaker 3: what advice do you offer to yourself when you're thinking
- 33:20Speaker 3: about that target?
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah? I think the biggest thing that I the advice
- 33:23Speaker 1: that I'm given to myself, my past self or even
- 33:27Speaker 1: just Massia right now is just like you put the
- 33:30Speaker 1: work in, there's no reason to doubt, there's no reason
- 33:34Speaker 1: to change anything. You've been consistent in everything that you've done,
- 33:38Speaker 1: so just be you, be free in whatever the result is.
- 33:42Speaker 4: Be happy with the result, but never regret.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Never regret Massi Russell. I'm so happy that we were able.
- 33:47Speaker 4: To sit down.
- 33:49Speaker 3: For those that aren't following along with you just yet
- 33:51Speaker 3: on the socials, let them know.
- 33:53Speaker 2: How do they find you?
- 33:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you guys can find me honestly across any platform, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok.
